Following the disbanding of Sector Seven, Networked Elements: Supporters and Transformers (N.E.S.T.) was set up under William Lennox to create a combined United States Military/Autobot defense force against Decepticons. Though originally an American-Autobot military alliance, it soon expanded to include armed forces from the United Kingdom and other nations.
After Wreckage and Starscream leveled Sector Seven's Nevada bunker, Captain Lennox tried to convince his dubious and hostile superiors at the Pentagon that the Autobots were indeed trustworthy and would be a valuable asset. His superiors impressed upon him that in order for the military to provide full disclosure, the Autobots must cooperate fully, and that the unit was Lennox's responsibility now. After the burial-at-sea of Jazz, Optimus Prime and Lennox agreed that for the protection of their mutual homeworld, they must trust each other and work together as a single team. Sometime later, the newly formed NEST command commenced training at the military base on Diego Garcia. Alliance issue 3
NEST had a baptism of fire against the Decepticon scouts Swindle and Dead End in San Francisco. Following that, it expanded to a multinational force and began taking on Decepticon agents across Earth. Every Decepticon encountered was destroyed, but NEST's victories were paid with the ultimate sacrifice, such as the loss of Salani. With Bumblebee redeployed back to the 'States as Sam Witwicky's guardian, NEST received a much-needed boost in Transformers ranks when Sideswipe and several other Autobots arrived to Earth. This joy was short-lived, however: the Decepticon Demolishor had been sighted in Shanghai, China. Alliance issue 4
Change has come to Cybertron.

Synopsis
In the Capital City of Trypticon, Optimus and Megatron's two security officers, Prowl and Jazz, break into Megatron's quarters. Optimus believes that something happened to Megatron, and that he wanted to look for a clue. When they enter, they notice the mysterious triangle-shaped relic. Optimus is fascinated by it, but is confused, as the artifact wasn't in its newly-pristine condition when Optimus' excavation team found it, to which Optimus believed that Megatron did the restoration himself. But before Optimus can think further, Prowl tells Optimus that Megatron is returning, and so they leave.

Later, Megatron walks in victorious, and is awaiting his next command from his master, the "artifact". The voice tells him to await his return. Megatron asks how he can help, to which the voice tells him to expand his army, and that Cybertron will be his for the taking, while the voice tells him that everything else will be his.

At the Burthov Launch Site, the excavation team test out a booster separation system, which is successful. Ratchet tells Optimus that the team were analyzing the fragments that they found, while Optimus tells him about the artifact's mysterious restoration. The conversation is interrupted by Arcee, who discovered a match with a symbol found on one of the fragments. When Optimus asks which one, Arcee points to his head, which has the same symbol carved on it. Ratchet says that this proves that the Dynasty of Primes does exist, and that Optimus is somehow connected. Optimus wonders: is he a Prime?

Meanwhile, the "artifact" tells Megatron about Optimus being in his quarters during his battle against the aliens. Megatron is furious, believing that Optimus and his group want the same power that the "artifact" promised him. The "artifact" tells Megatron that he'll still get the power, but he must deal with his new enemies, to which Megatron knows how... by death! Megatron orders Prowl to look for Optimus, then gives another set of orders to Starscream.

At the excavation site, Optimus, Ratchet and Arcee are discussing about their discoveries. Ratchet believes that "Optimus Prime" has a good ring to Optimus, but Optimus isn't convinced yet, believing that it could mean "records clerk" or something. Arcee couldn't find the construction drones, and asks Optimus about the site. Optimus replies that if its related to the Prime dynasty, then it could shed light into the history of the AllSpark. The discussion is halted when Prowl's security team arrives, with orders from Megatron to be detained for treason. Optimus angrily questions this to Prowl, but Bumblebee tells him that they're only following orders. Optimus thinks it's absurd, but comes along nevertheless. Frenzy spies on the group and Megatron gives Starscream his orders; terminate everyone except Optimus.

Optimus realizes that something isn't right; Wreckage told him that there was construction to the main road and that the route was cleared for them. Prowl agrees with Optimus' request to stop. Prowl orders Jazz and Camshaft to check the road, and he and Optimus talk about the sneak-in at Megatron's quarters. The group then gets attacked by Starscream's group. Optimus deduces that the area is unstable due to damaged energy lines, and that it would be a perfect ambush spot. Optimus orders everyone to stay sharp and for Ratchet to help out the injured.

Smokescreen lays out a disruptor cloud to buy some time for everyone to head to Burthov. Optimus ambushes and threatens Starscream, to which he replies that Megatron is the chosen one. Optimus refutes this by saying that he, too, is chosen, and to tell Megatron that he will not control them before punching Starscream unconscious. Optimus lays out some explosive charges, and transforms, after which the explosives go off, bringing the city down on Starscream's group. While driving away, Optimus ponders about how Cybertron will be on the brink of something different, and questions if everything that has happened was either their own doing, or if it was just destiny...

Later, in Trypticon, Megatron tells his fellow warriors that the long-reigning peace has been too long, what with attacks from beyond Cybertron and betrayals. Megatron requests that the brave Cybertronians forge a new path; one based on vengeance, redemption, and defiance. The new faction will crush their enemies both on Cybertron and the stars. Megatron urges the group to join his group; for those that side with him will be known as... the Decepticons! Almost everyone side with Lord Megatron, while others silently question this...
Starscream's head now resembles his movie head instead of his protoform toy head sculpt, Optimus has a lot more red in his robot form which is also sleeker looking, not showing his back kibble from the protoform toy. Also a lot of the robots, especially the Autobots, now have a kind of grilled mouth that doesn't appear to move while they speak. Optimus' vehicle mode is also considerably different, since he previously transformed into the "Protoform Entry Mode" from his Deluxe class Preview toy.
*When Ratchet opined that "Optimus Prime" had a nice ring to it and Optimus replied that it could just mean "records clerk", this is in reference to Generation 1 Optimus Prime's previous life as the data archivist Optronix in The War Within.
*When Josh Nizzi's Cover A for this issue was previewed on ComicNewsi.com on December 23 2008, the image depicted a blacked-out Megatron in his Revenge of the Fallen body, fitting in with almost all of Nizzi's other IDW covers which used Revenge designs. However, later previews and the final published cover depicts Megatron's original body from the the first movie.
*However when Megatron decrees 'Death!' to the "traitors", Megatron is shown with the sword thing from his Revenge of the Fallen body. Even Optimus is shown wielding two swords, like his Revenge of the Fallen leader class toy.
A creation of the All Spark, Salvage previously worked as a truck with Sparkplug & Son Salvage, and even though he was just an inanimate truck, he's certain he must have been happy. Lacking any further ambitions, he's decided to stay with them, and so long as he's hauling scrap, he remains happy with his life. It sure beats fighting Decepticons!
Following the destuction of Megatron and the All Spark, Salvage, along with Landmine and Longarm, somehow came into the possession of Sector Seven, which kept them in a secret base in the Nevada desert. The Reign of Starscream issue 3

The Veiled Threat Prequel novel
Salvage was one of the Autobots who arrived on Earth shortly after the death of Megatron. After several battles against the Decepticons in Africa, Salvage, Optimus Prime, Ratchet, and Ironhide headed to Australia to investigate some Decepticon rampages, while the others headed to Brazil. Prime fought Kickback while Salvage and the others killed Tread and Trample. Salvage later fought the Decepticons in Rome with the rest of the Autobots. Salvage, along with Knockout, Prime, Ironhide, Ratchet and some new arrivals, headed out to Shanghai to stop Demolishor.

: Salvage is a redeco of Dropkick, transforming into a customized Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck (or a similar model just different enough to avoid paying a licensing fee). His flatbed cover conceals a giant claw/plier deployed from the tailgate by a sliding knob on top. This assembly becomes a hand-held weapon for his robot mode. He also has (non-firing) twin blasters on the underside of each forearm in robot mode.
: His deco and the "Sparkplug & Son Salvage" markings may be a double homage, definitely to the red truck from Sanford and Son and possibly to the red pickup Sparkplug Witwicky owned in the Marvel Generation 1 comics.
Following the disbanding of Sector Seven, Networked Elements: Supporters and Transformers (N.E.S.T.) was set up under William Lennox to create a combined United States Military/Autobot defense force against Decepticons.
Payload himself was back on Cybertron, under the command of Dreadwing. : Payload transforms into a Bulldog II Armored Truck model based on the Decepticon-drone coloration and face type. In robot mode, his midsection has a large push-out grabber-claw that extends waaaaaaaaaaaaay far out. However, in order to do this, the claw-shaft sticks far out of his back in robot mode, making posing and display in narrow spaces difficult. It also makes him hard to balance.

: Several pieces on Payload tend to pop off easily: his brush guard, midriff-plate/claw-center, and even his upper shoulder/head assembly. The mold was later retooled to include larger pegs for the shoulder/head assembly and an added tab on the brushguard, to connect to the new slot in the claw plunger. While this was intended to give the pieces a better fit, it actually puts more pressure on the parts and causes them to pop off even more easily. The chest piece, however, fits fairly well on either version but is still easy to remove.

: Payload had a tendency to sit on shelves for weeks, with some examples of end displays filled completely with Payload figures. This has led to some fans affectionately renaming him as Pegload.

Transformers: The Game
Longarms are particularly dangerous foes that appear many times against both Autobot and Decepticon. They are capable of swinging the tow-arms on their backs in a wide circle, extending their wrecker-hooks, which results in a devastating slam attack that can send even the larger Transformers sprawling. Since they are also shielded against most artillery in robot mode, this attack can only be interrupted by hurling something at them.
**Japanese ID number: MA-15
**Accessories: Missile

: Longarm transforms into a Ford F-350 tow truck, capable of towing another toy thanks to his hook-arm. This arm becomes a hand-held "quagma cannon" spring-loaded missile launcher in robot mode that is affixed to his right hand via a screw. The missile launcher can also be used in vehicle mode, as a notch is cut out of the front bumper, presumably for making surprise attacks (since other drone characters have similar weapons). There is a single, nigh-insignificant automorph feature; the emergency lights on top of the gun/tow rig are geared to fold simultaneously. This makes Blackout's knees almost look interesting.

: Unlike all of the other "drone" toys in the line, Longarm's robot mode is totally different from the CG design developed for the game; even his head resembles neither the Autobot or Decepticon drone heads. And by "totally different," we mean "has Generation 1 Hoist's head." Were future redeco possibilities in mind?

:The gun is not meant to be removable, but is easily unscrewed. The loose gun won't fit on the right hand without the screw, but will peg into the left hand via the connection used to hold the gun/crane steady in vehicle mode. The figure is still capable of full transformation and the loose crane fits tightly in vehicle mode. It is however difficult to transform him while keeping the loose gun attached to his left hand.

: Longarm features a minor mis-assembly problem, in that the strut between the crane section and the hook itself is reversed. It is easily fixed by popping off the hook and turning it around, then unscrewing the crane part and flipping the strut. This allows the gun to fit together much better, as depicted on the packaging.
Longarm is a chummy, nice, all around guy. "It never hurts to help" is his creed, and he enjoys working on protecting, repairing, and saving. After all, that's why he's an Autobot. He's almost too nice... he just can't figure out Decepticons at all. To be that angry, mean, treacherous, destructive, or emo, it all just seems like a huge waste of energy and time. But so long as he can protect his friends, and make them smile, then he can smile right back.

There's also units of drones that convert into tow-trucks of the same name. Both the Autobot and Decepticon armies make use of these drones, which are solid, dependable fighters, and can be particularly dangerous.

Fiction
Titan Magazines Transformers movie comics
In an alternate reality where the Decepticons conquered Earth, Longarm was part of the Autobot reinforcements. He understandably thought they were a wee bit doomed, unsure of how they were expected to defeat the vast Decepticon legions. Twilight's Last Gleaming, Part: 1 Nevertheless, he joined the others in landing on Earth, but in the battle at Savannah, Georgia, he was gunned down by the drone hordes. Twilight's Last Gleaming, Part: 4 His unmoving body had to be removed from the Decepticon facility by Ironhide. Twilight's Last Gleaming, Part: 5

Once repaired, he joined the other Autobots in constant defensive actions against the Decepticons, including protecting San Diego alongside Ironhide. Dark Spark

When the Autobots were fully mobilized to Cybertron to secure Nucleon, Longarm showed he'd developed heavy pessimism after his series of ordeals, grimly stating that it was likely the Nucleon was used up by the Decepticons and Earth was doomed. He was made pilot of the Straxus, and found out Earth was doomed when Unicron teleported into the solar system and shot the Straxus down... Return to Cybertron: Part 3
The Veiled Threat prequel novel
Longarm is a grizzled old veteran from Cybertron who joins the earth-bound Autobots (unlike his toy bio which says that he is an All Spark mutation. He and Knock Out face off against several Decepticons in South America.
The Veiled Threat

Games
Battle for the Allspark online game
Longarm units have good Attack & Defense capabilities, but little on speed. The two sides' drones are differentiated by little more than the make of their noggins; Autobot versions use a facemask-with-optics model, while Decepticons have a lens-head version. Battle for the Allspark

Aside from the previously mentioned facial differences, Autobot Longarms are white with blue detailing while Decepticon versions are white with yellow detailing. Transformers The Game (console)
Transformers (2007)
*Longarm (Deluxe, 2007)

Vortex was just standing around as Starscream went about creating his new All Spark. When Arcee destroyed the newly built cube, Vortex leapt into action to draw his pals attention to the sniper... just in time to get shot through the chest. The Reign of Starscream Issue Number Five

Trivia
* Vortex was not named in the original comic release; his name is given in the story commentary in the trade-paperback edition of "The Reign of Starscream", where writer Chris Mowry explains that the character was called such in the script.

* Due to the entirety of his role in the story being pointing at a hidden Autobot, Vortex was nicknamed "Snitchotron".

* Vortex was one of the working names for the movie character Blackout.
Starscream takes the mantle of Decepticon leadership after the death of Megatron.

Synopsis
In the distant past, Optimus Prime launches the Allspark into space to keep it away from Megatron and his Decepticons. Instead of wiping out the Autobots, Megatron pursues the cube and leaves Starscream to eliminate the Autobots. Prime leads a large contingent of Autobots aboard a massive ship to catch Megatron alone in space and recover the Allspark, while some forces stay on Cybertron to deal with the Decepticons. Starscream orders his troops to pursue in their own craft, though Barricade lets his dissent be known. Dreadwing reports that the cube is heading toward the Eshems Nebula, with Megatron following, as well as the Autobots following both of them. The Autobots let loose a volley of mines that damages the Decepticon craft and seriously injures Dreadwing, so the Decepticons are forced to halt for repairs.

Over time, the Allspark lands on Earth and Megatron ends up trapped in the frozen Arctic. Along the way, the Autobots send teams out to different locations, reacting to trace elements of Allspark energy. The Decepticons park their ship on Mars, and Starscream leads a contingent to Earth, traveling in their protoform altmodes. Wreckage is soon killed by a group of humans, and Starscream concedes that while they may be weak, humans are also dangerous, and he stresses the need to reformat themselves for disguise.

They eventually discover the frozen Megatron at Hoover Dam and mobilize toward him. Starscream destroys the dam's power generators, allowing Megatron to thaw, but when Megatron learns that the humans have taken the Allspark, he can only state that Starscream has failed him again. The Decepticons engage the Autobots, and Ironhide causes Barricade to crash into a barrier. Blackout reports that Barricade may still be alive but Frenzy is most likely dead, but Megatron is still consumed with the cube. As the other Decepticons fall in battle, Starscream is angered by Megatron's non-concern with his brethren and fights the urge to destroy him. Sam Witwicky shoves the Allspark into Megatron's chest, destroying both.

As Starscream declares that the human will pay, a group of jets attacks him. Enraged, he destroys them all. He then travels to see if Barricade is still alive, which he is, though barely. Barricade states that Frenzy has detailed files on the Allspark and Sam. Starscream orders Barricade to continue reconnaissance on the Autobots when he has recovered and to refer to him now as Lord Starscream. Starscream then travels to Hoover Dam to recover Frenzy and prepares to assault the humans there.
Errors
* This issue continues the grand tradition of Transformers fiction confusing galaxies with solar systems: In his opening narration for the movie, Optimus Prime states that the Autobots "scattered across the galaxy", thus implying that Cybertron is located within the Milky Way galaxy. Yet when the All Spark arrives on Earth in this issue, Starscream states that its journey ends "galaxies away". This discrepancy is later corrected in issue 5.
In The Reign of Starscream, the ships that are used to look for the All Spark go unnamed, but according to Alex Milne, are not the Ark and Nemesis.
* The comic specifically follows the continuity of the film itself, rather than IDW's previous adaptation of the film, what with Barricade not having had his head cleaved off.
* Alas, the additional scenes featured in the issue (which take place during both the "prequel" events and the post-movie events) make the comic entirely incompatible with the UK's Titan magazine.
* In addition, the story seemingly attempts to reconcile at least some of the events of IDW's prequel mini-series and the second Target-sponsored prequel comic, what with the inclusion of Wreckage. However, the opening scene (where Starscream is talking to Megatron as the latter sets to leave Cybertron) directly contradicts the events of the "Target" prequel comic, where Starscream is with the other Decepticons when they see Megatron leaving the planet from a distance.
* Reassuring Optimus, Prowl says that he has "turned death into a fighting chance to live" — quoting almost verbatim from Dr. McCoy in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, regarding the sacrifice of the Enterprise.
* Dreadwing assures Starscream that "Unlike your other soldiers, I won't fail you" — a nod to a scene in The Transformers: The Movie where Megatron delivers a very similar slight against Starscream.
* Reflecting on their arrival on Earth, Starscream muses that stealth would yield "some great reward" on Earth, a nod to the album Some Great Reward by British band Depeche Mode.
* Store signs in Mission City seen on page 18 include "J.R.'s Toys" (a nod to one of writer Chris Mowry's friends) and "Hodad's", a one-of-a-kind burger store in Ocean Beach, California (using the actual store logo even). A truck on the same page advertises "Casper FX", another nod to one of Mowry's friends.
* A truck on the highway on page 21 bears the last name of Chris Latta, voice actor for Generation 1 Starscream.
* Starscream makes a sly reference to his G1 self's motto as he prepares his assault at Hoover Dam near the end of the story, stating that "we all know what conquest is made of" (according to G1 Starscream's motto, of the ashes of one's enemies).
Everyone gets ready for the Revenge of the Fallen.

Synopsis
En route to San Francisco, the Autobots and NEST soldiers converse about their mission. Two Decepticons have been spotted in the city, but thankfully, there was no mention of robots, so they must be in their vehicle modes. Lennox wonders how their team can do this without drawing attention from bystanders, to which Ironhide told him to leave it to the Autobots, knowing that the two Decepticons will put up a fight. Once they land, Salani reminds them that this is for real. Team 3 is to serve as perimeter defense, Team 2 sets up the trap, and Team 1 (consisting of Lennox, Optimus Prime, and Bumblebee) will flush them out. Lennox once again lays down the plans, with a chemical spill used as cover for their operations, as they need as much secrecy as possible.

In Downtown San Francisco, the area is cordoned off, and the civilians have been moved out, so Team 2 is cleared to go. Ratchet tells Ironhide that their appearance seems much suited for the mission, and that both them and the humans look stylish, but Ironhide tells him to stow it. Suddenly, Ratchet picks up energy readings, then Swindle and Deadend crash through a sliding wall and Team 2 picks up the chase. Swindle thinks that, if Barricade's intel is right, he and Deadend are chased by Ironhide and Ratchet, and not Prime. Then, Prime appears out of nowhere and runs over Deadend. Swindle runs off, but Bumblebee chases after him.

Prime is okay, but Deadend isn't, as noted by Ratchet. Salani calls Epps for a clean-up crew, while at the Golden Gate Bridge, Epps asks Lennox for his status. Lennox is pursuing Swindle, and Swindle is heading toward the Bridge fast. Lennox tells Epps to have the soldiers let Swindle get a bit of "clearance", then he and Bumbleee continue the pursuit. When they reach the bridge, Swindle transforms and is incredulous that Bumblebee came alone, but Lennox tells Swindle otherwise. Swindle blast at them, then beats up Bumblebee. Lennox fires at Swindle, but Swindle turns his attention to Lennox, but before he can do anything, he is blasted by Bumblebee. Dying, Swindle says that none of them are safe, but shuts down before he tells more. Lennox considers the mission a success, seeing as it wasn't as bad as Mission City was.

Hours later, during the trip back to base, Optimus Prime notes that Lennox looks tired, but Lennox says that he was wondering if things are about to get worse, and is worried about what Swindle said. Prime asks him is he's also worried about Sam Witwicky; Lennox says yes, but is more concerned about the "we'll" part, thinking that more Decepticons will arrive, and if so, why are they on Earth? Prime doesn't have the answer, but agrees with the safety of Sam. Prime thinks that Sam will be safe at the base, but Lennox doesn't agree, because he's just a kid, and they can't move him from the street, either. Prime thinks that, no matter what happens,
with their own destinies being absolute and uncontrollable, Sam is going to be involved in this. Lennox tells Prime that they need someone to watch over him, but Prime knows just the one.

When the team lands back at the base, a refreshed Epps meets with the still-tired Lennox, who tells him that something's going on out there. Epps tells him that they're ready for anything, but Lennox questions this, saying that for all their training, they weren't clean during the day's mission. Epps thinks it could have been worse, but Lennox says that it might get worse, as well as saying that Bumblebee is leaving the team to once again guard Sam. Epps is upset, saying that they can't lose team members that came from another planet; Lennox agrees.

Later, Lennox is debriefed by the Army over the day's mission. Lennox tells them about the incident at the Golden Gate Bridge, but the commander debriefing the team isn't pleased with this, as they were given strict orders to not transform. If the Decepticons did so on their own accord, then so be it; however, the team was ordered not to, as the Army didn't want to risk disclosure in a major city again. Lennox said that they had no choice, as the Decepticons had engaged them and they took caution in how they responded. The battle at Mission City was in the past, and now is the time to move on. The commander says that civilians weren't used to seeing robots or jets flying in major cities. Lennox argues, saying that the jet was one of them. As for proof that the Autobots want to work for the army, it couldn't be helped, but their working on that. The mission was a success, despite the incident at the bridge.

The army commander still isn't sold on Lennox's idea. They had been authorization on that mission, but now they expect that the rules to be followed in the missions that will be coming to them, and that the unit is used to fix problems, not make new ones. After making Lennox clear on this issue, the commander will pass this onto his superiors, and tells Lennox that he and his men need to look over the day's mission and learn from them. When the conversation ends, Lennox is upset at the commander, saying that he was impossible to work. Prime says that the team will have to work harder, but Lennox thinks that the problem is the army still doesn't get the difference between Autobots and Decepticons. Optimus Prime says that they have to succeed.

The next day, Bumblebee says his brief good-byes to the group. Ironhide tells him to stay out of trouble until he meets with Bumblebee, while Optimus Prime reminds Bumblebee that the protection of Sam is his first priority, then Bumblebee leaves. Later, the team is briefed by the army. There have been multiple Decepticon sightings all over the globe. Lennox lets Optimus Prime talk to the army, and Prime believes that, coming from Swindle's comments, the Decepticons are looking for something, be it Megatron's remains, Sam's house, or somewhere else. The commander asks if they aren't spreading for another attack, but Prime doesn't know. The Decepticons soldiers don't act like the ones Megatron commanded, but are more like scouts. The commander gives them new orders; they are to find these Decepticon scouts, engage, hunt down, and eliminate them.

And so, as Prime relates, with upgraded technology from Sector Seven installed by Ratchet, the Autobots found the Decepticons, and, when found, they were destroyed immediately (in Italy, Fracture gets smashed by Ironhide and falls to the ravine). With help from NEST, the war with the Decepticons continues. As weeks, then months went by, they trained and got better. Soldiers from all over the world signed up. Together, they celebrated triumph (in Europe, Overcast is shot down by NEST forces) and mourned those who made sacrifices (a mission in the Middle East resulted in the death of Salani). They grew as a team and learned from one another, becoming stronger allies in an ever-changing war. The Decepticons wouldn't give them info, but they never lasted long enough anyways (in Florida, they eliminated Dropkick and Incinerator), and others they couldn't get rid of (Barricade fled after the Florida battle).

Each mission was followed with an army debriefing. It was from there that they received judgment and new orders. It was in one briefing that they were given hope and joy. The next day, the Autobots head to a junkyard. Lennox says that the rad detector is going crazy, and that it's not them. Optimus reassures Lennox, then calls to the hiding Autobots. The new Autobots respond by appearing (in the guises of a silver sports car, three motorcycles, and an old ice cream truck), and saying that they got Optimus' call. However, the reunion is cut short by more sightings. The old Autobots catched up with the new ones through their training. The training ends as they are called to the briefing room, as Optimus wonders that if something is out there, friend or foe, they are the only ones who can deal with the situation, one which is threatening their new home, themselves, and their alliance with the humans.

Inside, Lennox briefs the team on a new assignment, which will involve the new Autobots to stick with their training and watching their backs. Their target location: Shanghai...

Lennox fires at Swindle, but Swindle turns his attention to Lennox, but before he can do anything, he is blasted by the soldiers on the bridge.
