Um... "The Sweeps" are in bold, too, and we're looking at at least two or three more, uh, Cycloni being formed behind Cyclonus, so how is the IDW comic adaptation implying that "Armada" is a singular character, exactly?--MCRG 00:15, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

::Oh, so I'm supposed to be reading that as guys-being-turned-into-Cycloni instead of dead Bombshell and a couple of forming Cycloni? Not... exactly... the clearest thing ever unless you've already seen the movie. --MCRG 00:33, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

:::Yeah, there's Cyclonus, there's another Cyclonus, and then there are two Cyclonus-shaped wireframes. I suppose they could suddenly become Sweeps instead at the last second, but... --Andrusi 00:37, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
::::It's not the clearest storytelling in the world (by which I mean it's Don art), but those Cyclonus-shaped wireframes are the intermediate forms between Bombshell/Skywarp and Cyclonus/Armada, not individual guys themselves. -LV 01:30, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

I don't know how relevant this is, but in Five Faces Of Darkness, most notably in part 5, there are PLENTY of Cycloni appearing as the Decepticons attack Cybertron, and during their retreat at the end of the episode. Detour 15:30, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
I don't have the Marvel comic adation of TF:TM handy, is the Armada mentioned/seen there? -Derik 02:45, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

:They're created in the last page of the first issue and the first page of the second, in which we see countless robots being created out of the surface of Unicron's planet mode. We learn about Scourge and his Sweeps, Cyclonus (who is Galvatron's ship), and later we hear about the two and "their subordinates." (SPECIAL TRIVIA: A conehead is seen among the Decepticons thrown out.) --ItsWalky 03:21, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

::Bah. Someone else can do that. ;). (I find it surprising how frequently I lament not having my TF:TM digitized for quick reference...) -Derik 22:22, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
:There's also another problem with Five Faces of Darkness. Among the Decepticons Wheelie is running from while carrying the transformation cog, he heads straight for a group of Decepticons which is also composed of Insecticons...including Bombshell in the middle. I'd chalk that up to an amination error, but when has anyone ever accepted that? -- SFH 01:03, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
El Wreckooni
I'm wondering if it'd be okay to go ahead and note that Wreckers Finale flat-out says who became who (at least, as far as Wreckers is concerned) now rather than waiting for the month to be up, and in a month putting in the relevant quote, since it's kinda spoilery for a plot point. I dunno. --M Sipher 16:58, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
:Whatever it turns out to be, wouldn't it be a similar situation to the Madman/Metrodome DVD profile, being your own interpretation pushed as canon? No offense intended but if the DVD profiles can be so easily ignored, in the interest of objectivity so can your take on it. --Detour 17:18, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
:::That's why Sipher says "at least, as far as Wreckers is concerned." He's saying that what Wreckers says ultimately doesn't have an influence on the original movie, just that Wreckers presents one possible answer. (Though, really, I'd suggest the original movie already answered that question, and the only reason there's even a debate in the first place is because a few people didn't like the answer presented.) --ItsWalky 18:01, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
::I kinda think that an officially published story has priority over obscure DVD profiles. Interrobang 17:33, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Should we have a note like this in the article?

I like to think that because Skywarp was killed in Target: 2006 by Galvatron, it caused Cyclonus' Armada to never have existed when Galvatron returned to his own time since Skywarp was no longer around to become Cyclonus' Armada. Is there any merit to this? 95.148.10.91 18:08, 20 June 2010 (EDT)
