After mistaking Cliffjumper for his universe's Cliffjumper, Megatron mistakenly believed that his time in the Rad Zone had damaged his circuitry, and noted that perhaps they should have Shockwave take a look at him. Shattered Glass (issue)
Later, during the events of "Transhuman", (hey, TFWiki, we need a page for that, hint, hint), Shockwave arrived on Earth through a Decepticon Stellar Spanner, as ambassador to Earth. He was very interested in talking to Cliffjumper about Primus and the theology entailed.
*Thus far, Shockwave has not actually appeared in any fiction, and has only been mentioned by other characters.
*Even though initially announced as "Six Shot", an early version of his bio card posted at Hasbro's official Transformers website listed his name as Scattorshot" instead, previously a working name for Blight. The name was soon changed back to "Six Shot", however, and the toy was only ever sold under that name. The name "Scattorshot" was ultimately used on a character from the follow-up series, Cybertron.

*And speaking of the bio card: While it described Six Shot (or "Scattorshot") as a "cunning Decepticon warrior", the Tech Spec stats only gave him a "4" in "intelligence". This was just one of many examples with the poorly thought out Energon bios at that time. (Things got vastly better with Cybertron.)
* In the Hungarian dub of Energon, Six Shot is voiced by an old man (two, to be exact; one in his introduction episode, the other in the rest of the series), which kind of messes up his "younger brother" issue.
A group of sentient warring robots land on Earth. When they reawake, their battle begins anew... 117 years too early!

Synopsis
The story opens on prehistoric Earth, in the opening years of an ice age. The Autobots and Decepticons fight their war here, using dinosaur and insect alternate modes (most of them distinctively spiky). These "Ice Age Wars" draw to a close as the cold gets worse. Some of the Autobots retreat into a cave, and place themselves in stasis lock, to wait for external conditions to improve.

Millions of years pass. The glaciers that forced the Transformers into stasis lock recede, and humans gradually take over the Earth's surface...

Bumblebee is woken by the sound of hammering. He investigates, and spies on a crew of humans, including John Henry, laying track. The year is around 1867; the Autobots have slept for a long time.

Meanwhile, aboard the paddle-wheeled steamship Enterprise in San Francisco Bay, Mark Twain and Jules Verne prepare to witness a "marvelous exhibition". The S.S. Vicuna, a primitive submarine, rises from the waters, crewed by its inventor, Tobias Muldoon. He stands atop it, extolling its virtues, until it suddenly sinks under him. (Why it sinks is unclear.) It falls to the bottom of the bay, where we see Skywarp, apparently just emerging from stasis lock, inside a glass-domed underwater base. (Possibly the impact of the Vicuna is what wakes Skywarp.) Muldoon is financially ruined; Verne is inspired.

That night, as Henry and his crew eat dinner, he states his dislike of job-stealing machines, and swears to go to his grave a'hammering. Bumblebee, Ratchet, and Prowl observe this. Ratchet and Prowl believe they should go back to sleep, and wait a century before making contact with humans, but Bumblebee instead approaches the camp, to inspect one of the locomotives. Henry and his crewmate Cletus investigate, and find a mysterious little yellow locomotive on a siding. It has no driver's cab, and they conclude it's some new job from back East. Henry takes an immediate dislike to it.

That same night, Muldoon is forced to report his failure to one of his investors, Stanford Merriweather. Merriweather is upset, and puts Muldoon to work in the kitchen of one of his hotels. We see that Muldoon has a (reciprocated) romantic interest in Stanford's daughter, Kitty Merriweather. Later, he wanders the docks, musing out loud about how his prospects (both romantic and financial) look bleak. A bellowing voice asks him if he would truly give up so easily. Suddenly, the ironclad ship next to him transforms, and Shockwave tells Muldoon that he will assist him in reshaping the future of the Earth.
Errors
* Merriweather tells Muldoon to do $40 worth of work in the kitchen. Adjusting for inflation from 1867 to 2007, this is about $530. It's unclear if Merriweather is expecting him to work off the debt for the meal he just ate, or for the investment in the submarine, but $530 is either far too much or far too little, respectively. It's also an awful lot of dishes to wash.
* An actual unmanned steam locomotive like the one Bumblebee scans (in addition to not existing) would be very, very dangerous to those working around it.
Assuming the controls were on the back similar to earlier engines, no provisions for water or boiler protectection were given. There's also not any good way for him to have stayed balanced given how far back his drivers were sometimes protryed, the pilot should have been hitting the rails.
Synopsis
The Decepticons are building engines into the side of a comet in order to alter its course and crash it on top of Metroplex. As they fire up the engines, a group of Autobots close in, led there by Perceptor. The Autobots attack, much to Galvatron's dismay. The Constructicons form Devastator, who is promptly flattened when Broadside drops on him in ship mode. In the ensuing battle, the engines are destroyed, and the comet is sent hurtling towards a small planet, which Perceptor reports is inhabited.

The Autobots attempt unsuccessfully to stop the comet before Galvatron again orders his men to engage their foe. While Galvatron and Ultra Magnus are grappling, waves of sound energy destroy the comet and cause both groups of Transformers to plummet to the planet's surface. In a nearby city, three aliens are having a disagreement. One of them, Allegra, storms out, saying that she's going to her retreat.

The Transformers recover from their crash, wondering what hit them. Soundwave describes it as the most perfect harmony ever, but Galvatron is more interested in its destructive power. Broadside breaks up the discussion by punching Galvatron, and the fight resumes. As the Constructicons form Devastator again, Perceptor blows the giant apart with one shot from his cannon. Galvatron and Soundwave depart in search of the source of the harmony they heard earlier, but Ultra Magnus spots them leaving and takes Broadside and Blaster in pursuit. Perceptor reflects that unless the trio are swift, there might not be much of them left.

Broadside swiftly passes the two Decepticons and overflies the city, which Blaster realises is laid out like a musical harmony. Magnus and Blaster meet with Basso Profundo, leader of the planet Eurythma, but Basso refuses to help them, believing that the harmony is all his people need to protect themselves. He drops a hint that Allegra might be able to help them, a fact overheard by Galvatron and Soundwave, who are spying outside. As the three Autobots go in search of Allegra, the Decepticons drop a bridge on them. To make sure, Galvatron blasts the wreckage, and the pair fly off to find Allegra.

Basso watches the two Decepticons leave, and fellow Eurythman Zebop Skandana uses a harmony to help the Autobots out of the rubble. Blaster realises that Zebop was creating part of the harmony which originally blew the Autobots out of space, and Zebop says he's sympathetic to their cause and will help them find Allegra.

The two Decepticons meet Allegra, offering to help her overthrow Basso in return for the secret of the harmony. She obliges and Soundwave records it, but to Galvatron's rage, it turns out that she is only one part of the harmony; Basso and Zebop make up the other two thirds. Still, when the Autobots arrive with Zebop, Soundwave is testing the part of the harmony he has by destroying a rock. The Autobots set up an ambush, but Zebop is so distressed by the fact that Allegra is working with the Decepticons that he gives away their position. Galvatron starts firing, and Zebop takes refuge in Ultra Magnus's cab. Soundwave begins battering the Autobots with the harmony. When Zebop counters with his part of the harmony, Soundwave promptly records it and uses the resulting two-thirds of the harmony to devastating effect.

With the Autobots apparently gone, Galvatron terminates the alliance with Allegra. She attempts to attack them with her part of the harmony, but Soundwave retaliates, knocking her out. The Autobots climb out of their hole in time to prevent Galvatron from terminating the Eurythman, but during the resulting fight, Blaster and Soundwave struggle and accidentally fall on Zebop. Galvatron grabs his minion and departs, leaving Allegra cradling Zebop in her arms. Though the Autobots believe he's had it, Allegra uses a harmony to revive him. The Autobots leave for the city.

Back at the landing site, the rest of the Autobots and Decepticons are still fighting. Hot Spot voices his hope that Magnus, Blaster and Broadside hurry. The Eurythmans have spotted the battle, and Basso uses an amplifier to direct a destructive harmony at it. Defensor is forced to disassemble, but the two factions fight on. Basso is depressed, and his aide points out he needs Allegra and Zebop to complete the harmony. Arriving, Soundwave begins playing two-thirds of the harmony, shaking the city and provoking Basso into using the third part again, which Soundwave promptly records. He is subsequently able to use the complete harmonic weapon to attack the city. Pleased, Galvatron announces their next targets are Metroplex and then Cybertron.

Ultra Magnus's party arrives back at the city to find it devastated and their fellow Autobots badly damaged. The Eurythmans are able to repair Perceptor and the Protectobots with a harmony, and the Autobots set off for Earth.

Galvatron and Soundwave attack Metroplex with the harmony, but the Autobots soon arrive with the three Eurythmans, who nullify Soundwave's weapon with anti-sound. Blaster grabs Soundwave and uses his buttons to erase the harmony from Soundwave's tapes. Despite Galvatron raging that he hasn't ordered a retreat, the Decepticons flee anyway. The Autobots return the Eurythmans to their world, where Ultra Magnus tells them they need to learn to live in harmony.
Notes
Animation or technical glitches
"Carnage in C-Minor" is infamous among the fandom for the sheer number of, and particularly glaring nature of, animation errors in this episode. Among the more prominent are the following:

* Throughout the entire episode, Broadside is drawn with a previously discarded character model.

* Devastator is the exact same size as Soundwave during the start of the first battle.

* Devastator also appears before he forms later in the battle.

* While the Autobots are shooting at the meteor, they are so badly drawn that they appear to have only one leg each, left arms starting from the elbows, and enormous heads...and Superion is tiny.

*When Bonecrusher orders the formation of Devastator, he's wearing an Autobot insignia. See also the continuity error below.

* When the Constructicons form Devastator for the second time, the first shot shows four Constructicons forming the legs and the torso. The second shot shows three robots forming the arms and upper torso. This means that seven Constructicons formed Devastator.

* After watching Galvatron and Soundwave leave, Ultra Magnus dispatches Hook and Scrapper—by picking them up in his hands and bashing them together. Magnus is supposed to be big, but not that big. (It's possible that the animators used the toys for reference, unaware that the cartoon scale traditionally doesn't match the toys' scale in this case.)

* Broadside's eyes are yellow when he gets up from under the rubble on the bridge.

* Blaster, Ultra Magnus and Zebop are shown hanging onto Broadside while he flies around. Sometimes, the shots make them appear tiny or not to be hanging onto Broadside at all. (One wonders why Zebop doesn't just ride in Broadside's cockpit, as he does for the trip to Earth.)

* Soundwave points out that Zebop is standing in the distance, while Galvatron says that "he probably is with the Autobots." Yet, Ultra Magnus is standing right next to him.

* Soundwave has a purple Autobot insignia...again. So does Broadside...

* Blaster is drawn delivering Broadside's line about "scorch-marks on top of everything else".

* During part of the battle at Allegra's retreat, Hot Spot is with the Autobots instead of Broadside.

* When Blaster explains that the Eurythmans use the harmony even for healing, Ultra Magnus is the one mouthing the words.

* When the Protectobots are combined as Defensor, Hot Spot (the main body) is fighting alongside his combined self!

* In one scene, a cel-layering error causes Blaster to appear very tiny compared to Soundwave.

* And there's even more. Seriously, how much time do you have?

* In one infamous scene, Brawn and Huffer (who should also be dead) show up alive and well. And it seems Bonecrusher has switched sides, as he's helping them shoot at the giant Decepticon rocket engine he just helped build! (Huffer has the wrong paint job, too.)

* To add insult to injury, Devastator is shooting at the Autobots before the Constructicons form Devastator.

* Soundwave travels with Galvatron to find the source of the harmony. However, when the scene returns to the battle outside the city, Soundwave is with the other Decepticons at the same time.

Real-world references
* The Eurythman characters' names are all music-related puns. Allegra is named after either the Italian operetta and opera composer Salvatore Allegra or Italian tempo marking "allegro", while Basso Profundo is derived from the singing style basso profondo. While these are all related to classical music, Zebop Skandana is named after popular music guitarist Carlos Santana and his 1981 album Zebop!... And the difference shows.

* Eurythma was possibly named after the popular '80s band The Eurythmics.

Trivia
* "Carnage in C-Minor" is widely regarded by fans as the worst episode of all Transformers series, but this is seemingly due to the sheer volume of animation errors, as well as the glaringly obvious nature of many of the individual errors. However, the actual plot is certainly not the weakest to grace the cartoon series, and its "continuity errors" have little to nothing to do with the script itself...certainly not to the level of, say, "B.O.T.".

* That said, there is plenty of inanity to be found in the story too. For instance: Despite the aliens' dialog being in perfectly understandable English (or Galactic Standard or whatever), because they say everything in a sing-song rhythm, apparently none of the Transformers except Blaster and Soundwave can understand them, and the two tape decks spend a large (and annoying) amount of time translating Eurythman to "non-sing-song" for everyone else.

* While not strictly an animation error per se, the number of Autobots appearing in this episode seems a little inconsistent, with several characters appearing, disappearing or seemingly replacing others with no clear indication of how many there are fighting in what place at any given time.

* Galvatron and Soundwave are briefly seen holding hands whilst flying.

* Apparently, a single blast from Perceptor's lightning cannon can cause Devastator to disassemble. And Grimlock believes that intellectuals are weak.

* In hindsight, it wasn't the best idea for Soundwave to have his erase button open so it could be pushed by a enemy. Or to have an erase button in the first place. For their sake, we hope Rumble and the other cassettes had their copy-protection tabs removed.

*Wouldn't erasing Soundwave's tapes give Rumble, Frenzy, Laserbeak, and the rest of them complete amnesia?

* Anyone else bothered that this "sonic weapon" was used to destroy a comet IN SPACE?

* This was one of several episodes subjected to the MSTF treatment at 1999.
Kicker searches for his family below Cybertron, while Galvatron and a damaged Optimus square off on the planet's surface.

Synopsis
A space bridge disgorges Rodimus and Landmine, carrying the injured Jetfire. Rodimus has Landmine take Jetfire to sick bay at Ocean City, while he heads back through the space bridge.

The gas-covered Cybertron continues moving through space. On its surface, Six Shot is still trying to take out Optimus Prime with the energon grid. After sending Superion Maximus ahead to reach Kicker, Optimus finds himself under attack from Galvatron and Starscream. Galvatron goes to Hyper Mode to attack, but Six Shot finally nails Optimus with a blast from the energon grid, sending Optimus crashing to the surface in flames. Galvatron is predictably furious at the interference; he sends Scorponok and Constructicon Maximus to search for the fallen Autobot leader.

The Omega Train roars through a station full of Terrorcons, its passengers blasting them as they go. Kicker calls for a halt at the next station, figuring the Decepticons are waiting for them. He has Hot Shot contact Optimus, knowing full well that this will give away their position.

Optimus lies damaged and separated from Wing Saber. He tells Hot Shot and the rest to carry on with their mission. Omega decides to go to him, but when Kicker points out that Optimus mentioned a leg wound, he has Omega hold up.

The five nameless construction vehicles that make up Constructicon Maximus are digging through the rubble, searching for Optimus, as Galvatron watches.

Kicker sends Omega ahead to an industrial complex, there to take something to Optimus. He figures it's about time they did some looking after their leader, instead of the usual vice versa.

Ironhide leads his troops through Cybertron's tunnel, arriving at a firefight at the medical complex. The four troops move in. Ironhide wins the day with his "turbo blast attack", which involves spinning his head around at dizzying speed while firing randomly.

While watching the monitors, Six Shot gets another rebuke from Galvatron, and promises not to do anything. Period. He shuts off his monitors, and says that he quits.

In the medical center, Bulkhead seems fully recovered, enough to scare the other patients and prompt a reproach from a nurse-bot. Bulkhead replies by pulling out a paper fan. Downshift and Prowl ask Ironhide for updates from the surface, prompting Ironhide to tell them to shut up and listen while pumping his fist in triumph, which in turn causes his fanboys to come kneel at his feet.

Yeah. Don't ask me, I have no idea.

Omega Supreme arrives somewhere, and says he can sense Kicker's presence.

Galvatron finally digs out Optimus. Optimus nearly has to take a blast meant for Wing Saber, but Superion Maximus arrives in time to save him, and challenges Galvatron. His firepower is ineffective, but before Galvatron can counter, Prime's drone squad arrives and attacks, followed by Omega Supreme. Prime links up with his drones and bashes Galvatron around.

Kicker and Hot Shot are almost to their destination.

Omega lends some firepower to Superion Maximus. Galvatron manages to exploit Optimus's injuries, and summons a fleet of Terrorcons.

Kicker finally finds his family's chamber... and it's empty. Spilled food and scattered possessions indicate a hasty exit. Kicker suspects they're hiding in The Core.

Galvatron tells Optimus that it's all over, but Ironhide arrives and challenges him. Bulkhead arrvies to lend a hand, followed by Mirage and Downshift. Lots of people shoot. Nobody gets hurts much. The Omnicons restore Optimus and Wing Saber, who promptly combine.

Optimus and Galvatron make a big explosion, and Galvatron comes out the loser. He's still laughing, though, and orders Six Shot to deploy the energon gas. He gets only silence in response. Snowcat and Demolishor, still climbing down the shaft toward the Super Energon chamber with Dr. Jones, are equally unresponsive. Galvatron and Starscream fly off to deal with Six Shot, leaving Scorponok in charge of the battle.

Kicker finally finds Sally and his mom, and a reunion ensues. It only takes him a second to realize that Dr. Jones and Rad are both absent.

Dr. Jones' captors make a rough landing at the bottom of the Super Energon shaft, leaving Dr. Jones with some nasty back pain. Snowcat and Demolishor run off to rejoin Galvatron and get powered up, leaving Dr. Jones with a golden opportunity to get away.

Galvatron gives Six Shot a thrashing for ignoring him. But Starscream reports that they're locked out of the energon grid; Six Shot laughs and laughs, as Galvatron needs him to control the planet.

Demolishor and Snowcat prepare to take a dip in the Super Energon pool, but a giant looming shadow bursts out of it. Amid their screams, Alpha Q wonders what they saw, and wonders what the Autobots will do as Cybertron prepares to exit the space bridge.
Notes
Lost in translation
* As Rodimus prepares to re-enter the space bridge, the dub has him say that he hopes Optimus "can punch a hole to get us out", which... makes no sense at all. Punch a hole in what? Get out of what? The original line is Rodimus saying that he's sure they gave Optimus the opening he needed.
* The dub strangely parses Kicker's request for Omega Supreme to stop as "shut it down". Although an uncommon phrase from real railroading, more likely this is anothor of Energons famous errors.
* When Hot Shot says that contacting Optimus will give away their position, dub Kicker cockily says "exactly!", as if he's planning a trap or something. In Super Link, he just replies that the enemy already knows where they are.
* In the middle of Kicker's comments about Optimus's stubborn selflessness, the dub omits a key line about how Kicker once hated him. Without it, the rest of the speech kinda falls apart.
* The scene in the medical center is botched by the dub. In Super Link, during the brief cut to the outside of the building, one of the nurses cries out in shock—ha ha, Bulkhead groped her! The dub paves it over, having the nurse say that Bulkhead is scaring the other patients....with his strangely animated bobbing, apparently.
* Ironhide's "Shut up and listen" should be "shut up and follow me", hence the pumped-up fist of triumph and the fanboys rallying to him.
* Omega Supreme doesn't "sense Kicker's presence" in the industrial complex; he just says that Kicker's wish has been carried out.
* Primus isn't in this episode, but the dub still replaces a mention of his name with "the core".
* Dub Starscream advises Galvatron "give back complete control to Six Shot". He's supposed to advise him to take control back from Six Shot.
* Demolishor and Snowcat aren't "going back to Galvatron" to get powered up; it's a dub insertion.

Pain Count
* "Uh?": 12
* Stock footage: 6
* Let's do it: 2
* You're mine: I

Animation or technical errors
* The nameless construction vehicle that serves as Constructicon Maximus's torso rolls without actually moving its treads.

Real-world references
* As the Omega Train rolls through, Arcee makes station announcements over a PA system, warning passengers to stay behind the white line (and to prepare to eat lead), and wishing the commuters a pleasant day—not!

Trivia
* The episode's nonsensical title is semi-derived from the Super Link title, "Scattered, the Destron Army", referring to Galvatron's inability to summon his troops to help him out... which was kind of a stretch to begin with. Evidently, they intended to just call it "Decepticon Army", and typo'd it. For the fourth time. Like "Improsoned Inferno", however, it was corrected for the DVD release.
* The dub keeps the original Super Link theme song-based background music as Optimus and Wing Saber combine, rather than replacing it with the normal music (based on Energons theme song.)
*The photo of the Omega Train used above shows the cab of his crane unit. The toy of Omega's train mode, which is what Hasbro is trying ot sell anyway, involves this cab shoved into the back end of Omega's battleship, effectively hiding the cab, and giving him a lot more big guns. The toy describes the crane/backhoe as a seperate vehicle, though the argument could be made that it is a railbased crane.
* Prime and Galvatron's faces both get the cel upgrade in the following fight scene.
* Optimus introduces his "Meteor Attack Mode", which involves his drones spinning around him and Wing Saber amid lots of flying energy. Man, didn't we leave this sort of nonsense behind in the eighties?

Pain Count
* "Uh?": 12
* Stock footage: 6
* Let's do it: 2
* You're mine: I

Although an uncommon phrase from real railroading. More likely thoughh, this is anothor of Energon's famous errors.

Pain Count
* "Uh?": 12
* Stock footage: 6
* Let's do it: 2
* You're mine: I

Lil Formers is a series of single-panel comic strips by the flesh creature Matt Moylan using super deformed artwork. Like other comics of similar Transfan ilk, its content often reflects the biases of its creator.

It is primarily published online and appears in the Hasbro Transformers Collectors' Club magazine, produced by Fun Publications. Although the strip began as a fan project, the strips which appear as part of the official content of the fan club magazine are considered to be some sort of canon, at least for the purposes of this wiki.

As of strip #100, Lil Formers has expanded to cover a larger variety of pop culture properties, though Transformers strips still appear occasionally. When covering Transformers topics, it will decorate captions with either the Autobot or Decepticon logos depending on context. For non-Transformers comics, the captions are left plain.

As of strip #200, Moylan announced that he will no longer be publishing regular strips in lieu of other comic projects, but will maintain a semi-regular blog post with art, some of which may be Lilformers comics as they come to him.
