==Synopsis==
As [[Megatron (Armada)|Galvatron]]'s ship reaches [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]], a fleet of ships rises from the surface of the planet to meet it. Using the [[Mini-Con]] weapons, the [[Decepticon]] leader is easily able to take down two of the ships, and he sends his men to the surface of the planet to engage the [[Autobot|Autobots]] below in combat. Although [[Starscream (Armada)|Starscream]] hesitates, believing Galvatron will steal all the glory, [[Thrust (Armada)|Thrust]] says simply to follow his lead and the universe will be theirs.

Meanwhile, the Autobots are struggling to repair their ship after the damage it sustained during the last clash with the Decepticons. The kids worry that they're sitting ducks should the Decepticons decide to come back. Although [[Blurr (Armada)|Blurr]]'s calculations suggest that the heaviest fighting will be in the north of Cybertron, [[Optimus Prime (Armada)|Optimus]] decides they'll set down in the south rather than going into battle immediately. With the drive finally repaired, they hit warp.

From space, Cybertron looks deserted. [[High Wire (Armada)|High Wire]], [[Grindor (Armada)|Grindor]] and [[Sureshock (Armada)|Sureshock]] suddenly become excited and jump out an airlock, closely followed by [[Carlos Lopez|Carlos]]. The boy watches as, cloaked in balls of green light, the swarm of Mini-Cons all begin to come together. Blurr intercepts Carlos. On the ship, the kids realise the Mini-Cons are forming a shield of some sort while what appears to be a black hole hangs menacingly in space. [[Alexis]] believes that this means [[Unicron]] is coming. Optimus and [[Jetfire (Armada)|Jetfire]] merge and go to talk to High Wire. A phantasm of [[Sideways (RID)|Sideways]] appears and is fired on by the Mini-Cons. After telling the Mini-Cons to get lost, the apparition promptly disappears again.

The Decepticons realise that Optimus's group of Autobots have arrived.

The kids and the Autobots discuss the impending arrival of Unicron and the situation on Cybertron. Though the Autobots want to mount a single surprise attack, Optimus believes that a more dispersed attack is required. They touch down individually in pods to find a ruined landscape, and begin searching for survivors. Optimus and Jetfire soon run into trouble in the form of Galvatron and his men. Starscream and Thrust hang back above the fight. With the two Autobots pinned down, Optimus contacts the [[Axalon (Armada)|''Axalon'']] and orders the launch of [[Overload (Armada)|Overload]]. [[Side Swipe (Armada)|Side Swipe]] is hesitant, as it will leave the ship and Mini-Cons unprotected, but Red Alert reminds him it's an order. Optimus powerlinks with Overload and begins blasting the Decepticons.

Elsewhere, the other Autobots are fighting more Decepticons while searching for Autobot survivors. Autobot ships begin rising out of the ground and opening fire on the Decepticon fleet.

The kids on the ''Axalon'' realise their Mini-Cons have gone missing again and intercept the trio at the airlock, ready to go out and join the battle. Carlos is opposed to it, but the other kids feel that the Mini-Cons have a right to go out and fight for their home planet.

Galvatron and Optimus meet in one-on-one battle, but Optimus tells his foe of the oncoming danger going by the name of Unicron. Galvatron doesn't believe him, naturally, but the discussion is momentary interrupted by the ground quaking and a chunk of building almost hitting the Decepticon leader. Optimus points dramatically to the sky at the black hole. Chunks of ground begin floating upwards. Soon the debris and even the ships hanging in the sky begin to be sucked towards the black hole.

Thrust gloats that the plan is coming together, much to Starscream's confusion. Soon they notice a new activity: The Mini-Cons begin to pour into the black hole. More Mini-Cons reinforce the shield, and energy begins to rain down on Cybertron. The voice of the Mini-Cons implores for the fighting to stop.

Galvatron is still skeptical of Optimus, even when [[Demolishor (Armada)|Demolishor]] reports that the Mini-Cons have driven off whatever was attacking the planet, but he calls a retreat. Optimus orders the Autobots back to the ''Axalon''. Thrust observes that the Mini-Cons have stopped their attack on the black hole.

Sideways swears that the Mini-Cons will pay for their attack.

The kids and Autobots thank the Mini-Cons, but High Wire says that Unicron will be back, and the Mini-Cons will protect them again.

Galvatron still thinks Unicron is just an Autobot trick. Thrust muses that this foolish belief will make things much easier for his true master.

Aboard the [[Autobot]] spaceship [[Axalon (Armada)|Axalon]], Alexis and her friends look back on Earth as they head towards Cybertron. Fred eats some chocolate and Billy cries that he forgot his video camera. On the bridge, Hot Shot and the Autobots salute Earth and the memory of Optimus Prime.

On the [[Hydra Cannon|Decepticons' ship]], Megatron orders the ship to be turned around so the Autobots can be destroyed.

Sparkplug, still holding Prime's [[Matrix of Leadership|Matrix]], meets with several Mini-Cons. Moments later, hundreds of glowing lights swarm around the Autobot ship. High Wire - in English - introduces the lights as Mini-Con friends. After the swarm of Minis are introduced, the [[Street Action Mini-Con Team]] trigger a flashback in the humans to [[Chase (episode)|that time they saw a big evil in cyberspace]]. High Wire names the evil [[Unicron]].

Blurr tries to pilot the Axalon through an asteroid field. In the thick of the space debris, the Decepticons start their attack. Alexis notices the Mini-Cons also running to help the Autobots in the battle. Thrust fights against Jetfire, Cyclonus fights against Blurr, and Starscream and Hot Shot continue their long-standing grudge. Scavenger erotically battles against Demolishor. Megatron easily overpowers Side Swipe.

When Megatron aims the [[Requiem Blaster]] at the Axalon, Hot Shot stands in his way. Meanwhile, on the Axalon's hull, Perceptor and Sparkplug present The Matrix to the swarm of their gathered friends. Several Mini-Cons plunge into the Matrix, where something begins to take shape.

Megatron degrades Hot Shot, but a large sphere of green light swoops around and knocks Megatron aside. To everybody's astonishment, Optimus stands alive. With a Max Flare, Optimus ruins the Decepticon's attack. At the end of the episode, Megatron is glad that Optimus is back.

==Synopsis==
On the bridge of [[Hydra Cannon|his ship]], Megatron blogs to himself about how happy he is that Optimus is alive again, which confuses his minions.

On top of the hull of the ''[[Axalon (Armada)|Axalon]]'', Optimus gets reintroduced to his crew, and the [[Mini-Con]]s escorting the ship. But the welcoming party is cut short by an electrical space anomaly that suddenly appeared in the ship's path. Hot Shot and Red Alert are pulled into the hole, which fades away.

On a strange alien landscape, Hot Shot and Red Alert reawaken. Red Alert quickly acts responsibly and sends a beacon to the Autobot ship. Next, the two survey the irregular terrain they arrived in. A dark copy of Optimus Prime assaults and chases the two.

Elsewhere, the [[Decepticon]]s begin their hunt on the planet for their enemies. Their attention is brought to the noise of the Autobots' fight. The three Decepticons transform to assist the black scourge who introduces himself as Nemesis Prime. Using an amazing ability to alter his own shape, Nemesis Prime turns on Megatron, holding the Decepticon leader in the air.

The Decepticons and Autobots both fight against Nemesis Prime, but the battle quickly comes down to Megatron resorting to the use of the [[Requiem Blaster]]. The resulting explosion destroys the Prime-doppleganger and damages the Autobots.

In space, the Mini-Cons guide the Autobot ship to the planet with their two missing friends.

Megatron prepares to finish off both Autobots. Starscream interjects, suggesting using the Autobots as captives. Megatron buys Starscream's disguised compassion. Nemesis Prime re-forms from fragments on the ground and battles the Decepticons again, this time with [[Vorpal Saber|a sword]], but the arrival of Mini-Cons takes the menace down. Before they leave again, the Mini-Cons bathe the gathered bulks in energy, repairing them and giving the large Transformers as well as themselves [[spontaneous recoloration|new colors]] and a boost in power.

The ''Axalon'' arrives over the planet, dropping Optimus and Overload onto the surface. A giant Nemesis Prime emerges from the ground for a third attempt at destroying the Transformers. When Optimus and Megatron combine their ordnance, the creature finally dies, revealing a brief transparent image of [[Sideways (RID)|Sideways]] before vanishing. With Nemesis Prime destroyed, the planet begins to disintegrate, and so the Autobots and Decepticons return to their ships and continue on their voyage to [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]].

*The intro to the episode has a unique narration that mentions the kids, which flows into a recap of [[Miracle|the last episode]].
*Nemesis Prime has a trailer in the animation, the toy does not.
*Why couldn't Prime have arrived on the planet seconds before the Mini-Con and received his [[Powerlinx]] colors like the rest of the Transformers with Powerlinx colors? Only Stephen Colbert knows, and he's not telling.
*Thrust and Cyclonus also had Powerlinx colorations that were never used in the series.
*Overload's sudden appearance was on the "to-do" list of things to be explained in the [[Linkage (comic)|Linkage]] series, but there was never time for it. So all we can infer is that it's a big weapon set that for whatever reason Prime was unable to bring to battle before.

As Megatron's new weapon causes panic on Earth and the sky is filled with a strong green haze, the kids don't know what action they should take next.

On board the Decepticons' ship, Megatron annoys Thrust by laughing at the tactician's silly head. To himself, Thrust mocks Megatron's silly head. Outside, the force fields block Jetfire's efforts to attack the ship.

The Autobots wonder how to destroy the Decepticon ship without killing the Mini-Cons in its core. Hot Shot angrily blames the entire situation on Starscream, and goes so far as to yell at Optimus for letting Starscream join the Autobots. Instead of responding, Optimus leaves to let Hot Shot whine vengeance on the edge of sanity.

In the warp room, Optimus inspects his own Matrix before Jetfire returns. When the Autobots and kids assemble in the warp room, Optimus announces he has a plan to save Earth.

Starscream considers his position with the Decepticons. When requested, he puts aside the compassion he's learned and fires upon Earth, even if it harms humans. But when the shields are lowered to fire, Prime and Jetfire take advantage of the window and begin to attack.

The Decepticons rush out to fight the two Autobots. Eventually Megatron and Optimus are faced against each other, but his desire to save Earth causes Optimus to glow yellow and use his body to block the Hydra Cannon's energy blast.

Optimus holds back the blast (visible on Earth). With pieces of him breaking off, he pushes the blast back over the Decepticon ship. When the cannon is spent, Optimus stands, bleached white. Right when the kids happen to see the Autobot leader standing, [[The many deaths of Optimus Prime|he shatters into tiny fragments]]. The kids, the other Autobots, and even Megatron shout concerned yells.

The Decepticons retreat, while Jetfire recovers Sparkplug and Prime's Matrix.
