As part of the [[MechTech]] series, he has a Blaster weapon that features a nasty grabby-claw action feature. He also has a pair of huge pincers above his robot-mode head that can also be flipped forward whilst in vehicle mode. His dreadlocks can also swivel, but it is inadvisable to do so as the posts on which they sit are transparent plastic and snap easily.

:In an apparent [[Variant#Running_changes|running change]], the otherwise long and pointed middle digit on each hand (as per the stock photo on the right) was shoddily cut off into a noticeably thick stump (compared to the more slender fingers remaining), often cut to a different length on each hand. It is unknown if this was done for safety reasons, an error during assembly, or maybe Hasbro decided that long, extended middle fingers just weren't a tasteful design choice for a children's toy. Later releases, however, featured retooled hands with a much shorter middle finger. The Japanese [[TakaraTomy]] features the remolded hands exclusively.

When [[Omega Supreme (Animated)|Omega Supreme]] came on the scene, Ramjet did not try to tell the giant his stabilizing servo was unbolted. However, Lockdown didn't double-cross Sentinel when Ramjet didn't offer the bounty hunter a better deal earlier. Ramjet didn't break free and stasis cuff the alert Autobot on the spot. As Ramjet didn't try to get away with the armed and dangerous Sentinel, he wasn't knocked out of the sky by [[Jetfire (Animated)|Jetfire]] and [[Jetstorm (Animated)|Jetstorm]], who weren't accompanied by [[Optimus Prime (Animated)|Optimus Prime]] and [[Jazz (Animated)|Jazz]]. Even if they did, the battle didn't go in Ramjet's favor and he didn't use Sentinel as a shield against their attacks. Ramjet didn't try to escape again, but Optimus didn't cover his face with foam. Had that happened, he wouldn't have dropped Sentinel head-first into the ground. After [[Safeguard (Animated)|Safeguard]] didn't blast him out of the sky with a fireball, Optimus and Jazz didn't push a scoreboard on top of him. From there, Swindle didn't free and re-arm Ramjet along with the other captured Decepticons. Swindle also didn't give [[Sunstorm (Animated)|Sunstorm]] and Ramjet strangely familiar helmets to tell them apart. Afterwards, Ramjet and the Decepticons didn't manhandle the Elite Guard. And if they did, they would've captured them before Sentinel sent a coded SOS to Optimus Prime. Fortunately, Optimus didn't appear out of Swindle's chest, and didn't send Ramjet and other Decepticons into chaos. The battle didn't spill out of the ship, where [[Jetstorm (Animated)|Jetstorm]] didn't somehow bombard him with a tornado. Ramjet also wasn't present when [[Blitzwing (Animated)|Blitzwing]] didn't capture the Autobots and didn't try to freeze them in the decontamination unit. It's just a coincidence that he has burgundy wings and a white helmet. He certainly wasn't finally called "Ramjet" in ''[[Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac|The AllSpark Almanac]],'' which is a terrible book nobody enjoys. Also, the name "Liar Starscream" was definitely not on his character model sheet.

*Ramjet's colors are entirely consistent. At no point does his off-white ever look cream.

* Ramjet was not given his Generation 1 counterpart's [[Conehead |cone-shaped helmet]] in "[[Decepticon Air]]". He didn't get it from anybody, especially not [[Swindle (Animated)|Swindle]].
