But his real asset is stealth, tooling along unseen and unsuspected while he accomplishes his mission. Unfortunately for his mission, he often bites off more than he can chew—and ends up being the one chewed on!

Wheelie isn't really a ''bad'' sort: a loving home and a little strict discipline could whip him into shape, although he does seem to have a bit of a "mouth" on him.

Wheelie attempted to unlock the safe in her garage containing the fragment, but the noise he made in trying to avoid the various dangerous objects on the floor alerted her to his presence, so she picked him up with tongs and burnt out his left eye with a blowtorch. Mikaela then demanded to know what he was doing there, and Wheelie explained that he needed to bring the All Spark shard to the Decepticons, or he'd be terminated, begging mercy of Mikaela, who he dubbed "Warrior Goddess". Despite his protests, Mikaela locked him inside a box, which she took to [[Princeton University]] when [[Sam Witwicky]] told her he had been having visions and breakdowns induced by the fragment. Although [[Starscream (Movie)|Starscream]] later bisected Mikaela's car, Wheelie's box was undamaged and she retrieved and stored it in [[Bumblebee (Movie)|Bumblebee]]'s boot.

Wheelie was shocked by Jetfire's discussion of how he defected from the Decepticons to the Autobots, a thought which had never occurred to him, and decided he too would defect to Warrior Goddess, humping Mikaela's leg in joy. As he yammered on and on and refused to shut up.

Whose shambling shape sent Daniel running for Mommy!

Not long after that, with no assignment or mission, 
Wheelie volunteered for a fun competition. 
But the timestream was getting all out of place, 
And Wheelie got stuck in an unending race!

On Earth Wheelie witnessed crimes that were weird, 
As multiple landmarks just disappeared! 
The Dinobots were suspected, but he didn't buy the hype,

In his biggest adventure, Wheelie searched for a way,

He knew finding the truth would be kind of tricky, 
So once again he paired up with Daniel Witwicky. 

Their search led them straight to a storage asteroid, 
Being spied on by [[Cyclonus (G1)|Cyclonus]] (how paranoid!). 
Cyclonus took them hostage and made his demands, 
But Magnus wouldn't leave them in villainous hands! 

When Magnus arrived, he charged straight at his foe, 
But as they went at it, little did they know, 
That Wheelie snuck past them and pressed the self-destruct, 
Which meant if they lingered they would surely be ****ed! 

So Cyclonus retreated as the asteroid blew up, 
And Magnus saved the kids from their monumental screw up! 
As it turned out, Magnus didn't know his own birthday, 
So their entire adventure was pointless, anyway.

With other Autobots, Wheelie found [[Paradron]], 
A utopian planet that [[Sandstorm (G1)|Sandstorm]] lived on! 
Galvatron tried to take it and make it his base, 
But gave up when Ultra Magnus blew up the place.

On another adventure, Wheelie didn't do much, 
But fill out the crowds, standing around and such.

A '''City Commander''' is a [[Transformer]] tasked with overseeing the operations of a given city. Considering the state of war, "cities" can vary from full habitats expected to house civilians and soldiers to little more than a fortress with living quarters. Three separate Transformers were referred to as City Commanders during the [[The Transformers (toyline)|G1 toyline]].

==Ultra Magnus==
The Autobot City Commander, [[Ultra Magnus (G1)|Ultra Magnus]], started his role in the fiction as the commanding officer of [[Autobot City]]. Although he is not specifically referred to in dialogue as the commander, he takes a steady hand during the opening battle, overseeing the mobilization of the base defenses and attempting to contact reinforcements. {{storylink|The Transformers: The Movie|The Transformers: The Movie}} However, Magnus clearly didn't feel comfortable in a command position, as despite being the commander of the largest concentration of Autobot power at the time he felt he was unsuitable as the next leader of the Autobots.

Following the events of the film, the American continuity has Ultra Magnus largely abandoning the post of City Commander in favor of acting as a [[second-in-command]] to [[Hot Rod (G1)|Rodimus Prime]]. In the Japanese continuity, however (specifically, ''[[The Headmasters (franchise)|The Headmasters]]''), Magnus remained in his command post and worked to coordinate a variety of Autobot operations on Earth.

==Galvatron==

[[Galvatron (G1)|Galvatron]] is listed as a Decepticon City Commander on his toy tech specs. This was most likely done to avoid spoiling the events of [[The Transformers: The Movie|the animated film]] before its release; no reference is made to his status as a rebuilt [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]] for the same reason. Neither [[Trypticon (G1)|Trypticon]] nor any other Decepticon city feature in the film, and by the time Galvatron is commanding the Decepticons in [[The Transformers (cartoon)|the animated series]], there aren't really any Decepticon cities left to be commanded. (Though he technically would be their commander.)

Galvatron's ''[[Transformers Universe (Marvel comic)|Universe]]'' profile updated his biographical data to match the film, but still retains his "Decepticon City Commander" function.

There ''was'' one continuity in which Galvatron did take his function as City Commander quite seriously—specifically, his role in the stop-motion toy version of ''Scramble City'', where he is presented as a subordinate to Megatron and specifically serves as an opposite number for Ultra Magnus. {{storylink|Scramble City (toy version)|Scramble City}} This was produced when the Japanese production staff was still unaware of Galvatron's role in the movie, and no subsequent materials have mentioned it... except for the attempted [[retcon]] to claim that ''that'' Galvatron was actually [[Galvatron II]], who is... um... still Megatron. In other words, it's probably best not to expect any cities to be commanded by Galvatron.
