Disguised as a remote-controlled monster truck toy, Wheelie was ordered by Soundwave to steal the All Spark fragment that belonged to Mikaela Banes. Wheelie attempted to unlock the safe in her garage containing the fragment, but the noise he made in trying to avoid the various dangerous objects on the floor alerted her to his presence, so she picked him up with tongs and burnt out his left eye with a blowtorch. Mikaela then demanded to know what he was doing there, and Wheelie explained that he needed to bring the All Spark shard to the Decepticons, or he'd be terminated, begging mercy of Mikaela, who he dubbed "Warrior Goddess". A prop for one of Wheelie's feet, complete with an attached tire, was also made.

*Wheelie does not have a fast-talking Brooklyn accent in the novelization nor in the IDW comic adaptation. Instead, he talks more in a primitive Generation 1 cartoon/Animated Dinobot fashion.

*Seeing Mikaela for the first time, Wheelie describes her as "hot" but "not too bright." Interesting that a sentient machine would find a human sexually attractive. He, in fact, humps her leg later in the movie.

* In their audio commentary on the Revenge of the Fallen DVD and Blu-ray release, screenwriters Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman refer to Wheelie by his early working name, "Wheels". Michael Bay, meanwhile, calls him by his toys' name.
Other modifications include the use of Integy Alloy TVP chassis plates, HPI Spike Truck Wheels and (possibly scratch-built) fender add-ons for the truck body itself.

But when stakes are high, he gets mean and wild!
He carries a slingshot that shoots hurtful things,
They'll hit you in the nose (the projectile stings!).
And he hangs out with Daniel most of the time.
Some think he's annoying and wish he would die,
The Transformers
:Voice actor: Frank Welker (English), Kazue Komiya (Japanese)

On far off Quintessa his ship it did crash,
Wheelie survived, but his ship turned to ash.
Though friendless and alone, Wheelie stayed alive,
For Wheelie is strong and the strong must survive!
One fateful day, the Dinobots came in search of their friends,
So Wheelie gayly offered to help them meet their ends.
With his confident walk and his whimsical talk,
Wheelie earned the respect of the Mighty Grimlock!
Then with the help of Hot Rod, Kup and the rest,
Wheelie returned to Cybertron, most can attest.
The Transformers: The Movie

In 2006, for all that it's worth,
He had to bring Metroplex's cog down to Earth.
To accomplish the task, they paired him with fast-talking Blurr,
But Galvatron stranded them on Io, that villainous cur!
Five Faces of Darkness, Part 3

Being attacked by lipoles, things began to look grim,
Luckily, Marissa and Sky Lynx came to rescue them!
With the cog at last delivered, Metroplex came alive,
He thrashed Trypticon and that vile villain took a dive!
Five Faces of Darkness, Part 4

With Grimlock and Blurr, Wheelie listened to Kup,
As he yammered on and on and refused to shut up.
His story was about the Ick-Yaks on Dread,
But when Grimlock mentioned Chaos, Kup lost his head!
Chaos (episode)

With his good buddy Daniel, they found a horrible place,
A haunted mausoleum built for the Autobot Race!
Attacked by Decepticons, they were saved by a zombie,
Whose shambling shape sent Daniel running for Mommy!
Dark Awakening

Not long after that, with no assignment or mission,
Wheelie volunteered for a fun competition.
But the timestream was getting all out of place,
And Wheelie got stuck in an unending race!
Forever Is a Long Time Coming

On Earth Wheelie witnessed crimes that were weird,
As multiple landmarks just disappeared!
The Dinobots were suspected, but he didn't buy the hype,
Because the true criminal was an ethnic stereotype!
Thief in the Night

In his biggest adventure, Wheelie searched for a way,
To deduce the exact date of Magnus's birthday!
He knew finding the truth would be kind of tricky,
So once again he paired up with Daniel Witwicky.
Their search led them straight to a storage asteroid,
Being spied on by Cyclonus (how paranoid!).
Cyclonus took them hostage and made his demands,
But Magnus wouldn't leave them in villainous hands!
When Magnus arrived, he charged straight at his foe,
But as they went at it, little did they know,
That Wheelie snuck past them and pressed the self-destruct,
Which meant if they lingered they would surely be ****ed!
So Cyclonus retreated as the asteroid blew up,
And Magnus saved the kids from their monumental screw up!
As it turned out, Magnus didn't know his own birthday,
So their entire adventure was pointless, anyway.
Surprise Party

With other Autobots, Wheelie found Paradron,
A utopian planet that Sandstorm lived on!
Galvatron tried to take it and make it his base,
But gave up when Ultra Magnus blew up the place.
Fight or Flee

On another adventure, Wheelie didn't do much,
But fill out the crowds, standing around and such.
Grimlock's New Brain

Wheelie was slightly more active in his next major caper,
As Cybertron was being drained of its energy vapor!
Wheelie shot at a Tornedron as a spider bathed in light,
But Tornedron drained his life, leaving Wheelie's body white.
Call of the Primitives

Wheelie, Kup, Bumblebee, and Blurr happened on a human's plot,
And when they battled a plagued Superion, Wheelie was shot!
The Return of Optimus Prime, Part 1

He was revived by a Quintesson who tried to work faster,
But when Optimus Prime set out, they replaced him with Blaster!
He blamed everything on Chromedome, like, all of the time.
Although a jerk to the core, Wheelie was not all alone,

With Dr. Fujiyama in tow, the Autobots were quite screwed.
It seems a legion of Nightbirds were in a terrible mood!
With Wheelie injured thanks to a shot in the back,
Scar-faced Daniel realized the villains would cut them no slack.
Prepared to die to stop the evil hordes,
Wheelie told Daniel these few final words:

With a grenade pin pulled, signalling doom,
Daniel ended their friendship with a massive Kaboom!
Centuries passed, with Wars both Great and of Beast,
And once again Unicron was prepared to feast!
An alternate Wheelie was poached from his home,
And locked in the Cauldron where no one could roam.
He would fight other Transformers till death, either one;
The loser would feed his spark to hungry Unicron!
Trapped in a cage, Wheelie was doomed to meet his maker,
However, he was saved by Silverbolt and Trailbreaker!
He escaped with the others, through a portal they were hurled,
Towards perhaps his home universe, a return to his world!
Wheelie wanted to help and all,
But the Autobots thought he was too small.
Then one day he got his due,
But radiation crashed his ship—boo hoo!
The world's creatures towered over him;
He greeted one and lost a limb.
He got it back, so he wasn't sunk,
After, transforming caused great pain.
The trail of a crashed ship he embarked upon,
But when he found it—Decepticon!
An alien was tortured by Spectro and Spyglass,
But Wheelie swooped in and saved Varta's ass.
Wheelie had saved him just in time,
So he taught Wheelie how to rhyme!
Varta had a ship that flew,
And Wheelie's power source would do.
They both prepared to leave the place,
But Spyglass shot Varta in the face!
They took the ship and left Wheelie to his doom,
But he surprised the 'Cons and made the ship go kaboom!
One year later, he and Varta have a home,
And his fate no longer does Wheelie bemoan!
99.192.56.137: /* Trivia */

:City Commander is a rank in the Autobot and Decepticon forces in the Generation 1 continuity family.

A City Commander is a Transformer tasked with overseeing the operations of a given city. Considering the state of war, "cities" can vary from full habitats expected to house civilians and soldiers to little more than a fortress with living quarters. Three separate Transformers were referred to as City Commanders during the G1 toyline.

Ultra Magnus
The Autobot City Commander, Ultra Magnus, started his role in the fiction as the commanding officer of Autobot City. Although he is not specifically referred to in dialogue as the commander, he takes a steady hand during the opening battle, overseeing the mobilization of the base defenses and attempting to contact reinforcements. The Transformers: The Movie However, Magnus clearly didn't feel comfortable in a command position, as despite being the commander of the largest concentration of Autobot power at the time he felt he was unsuitable as the next leader of the Autobots.

Following the events of the film, the American continuity has Ultra Magnus largely abandoning the post of City Commander in favor of acting as a second-in-command to Rodimus Prime. In the Japanese continuity, however (specifically, The Headmasters), Magnus remained in his command post and worked to coordinate a variety of Autobot operations on Earth.

Galvatron
Galvatron is listed as a Decepticon City Commander on his toy tech specs. This was most likely done to avoid spoiling the events of the animated film before its release; no reference is made to his status as a rebuilt Megatron for the same reason. Neither Trypticon nor any other Decepticon city feature in the film, and by the time Galvatron is commanding the Decepticons in the animated series, there aren't really any Decepticon cities left to be commanded. (Though he technically would be their commander.)

Galvatron's Universe profile updated his biographical data to match the film, but still retains his "Decepticon City Commander" function.

There was one continuity in which Galvatron did take his function as City Commander quite seriously—specifically, his role in the stop-motion toy version of Scramble City, where he is presented as a subordinate to Megatron and specifically serves as an opposite number for Ultra Magnus. Scramble City (toy version) This was produced when the Japanese production staff was still unaware of Galvatron's role in the movie, and no subsequent materials have mentioned it... except for the attempted retcon to claim that that Galvatron was actually Galvatron II, who is... um... still Megatron. Only crazier even than normal.

In other words, it's probably best not to expect any cities to be commanded by Galvatron.

Sixshot
Although never officially labelled with this function (referred to instead as a "Ninja Staff Officer"), Sixshot was head of the Decepticons' Earth-based forces during The Headmasters, operating out of Trypticon and serving as a constant opposite number to Ultra Magnus.

Trivia
* There is an (extreamly awsome) add-on set called "City Commander Armor" (or "City Commander Trailer") made by the FansProject kitbash which combines with Classics Ultra Magnus to resemble the original G1 toy. Despite its excellence, it is completely unofficial and thus not allowed to be mentioned in this wiki. So don't tell anybody you read it here. Ssshhhhh.
