: Bumblebee's original toy, released in 1984 and in Japan in 1985, transforms into a "penny-racer"-proportioned Volkswagen Beetle. He was available through the first three years of the Transformers series, the entire duration of the Mini Vehicle assortment. In 1984, Bumblebee was produced in both yellow and red (as was Cliffjumper), though how this came to happen remains a mystery.

: Bumblebee was released in a wide variety of colors in markets south of the border. In Mexico, both a blue version and a recently-discovered white version with a red face were released.

: Bumblebee was reissued as a keychain by Fun4All under license from Hasbro in the US in 2001. Along with having its rear bumper retooled to accommodate the chain, the keychain form lacked the "Dunlop" text on the tires, and was also released in Japan in 2003 as a 7-Eleven exclusive. The Japanese keychain series also had a black "chase" version.

: In 2004, Bumblebee was again reissued in Japan in a six-toy multi-pack alongside Huffer, Cosmos, Gears, Powerglide and Warpath, but this time with a cartoon-accurate head.

: The original mold is also used by Volks. The keychain version is used by Glyph, while the new-head multi-pack version was used to make Bug Bite.

: The Transformers Encore series released a package of Mini Vehicles similar to the 2004 package; this time Bumblebee was bundled with Swerve, Tailgate, Pipes and Outback. Again, Bumblebee has the show-accurate head. This was released in July, 2008.
<span id="Estrela"></span>
*Volks (Robocar, 1985)

:Released in Brazil by Estrela in 1985, Robocar Volks was available in two color schemes: yellow and black (Bumblebee's original colors) and silver and black with a gold face. Whether or not Robocar Volks is the same character as the Optimus Volks is unknown.
*Volks (Robocar, 19??)
:Released in Argentina by Antex in 19??, Robocar Volks was available in two color schemes: red and black and orange and black.

:While Volks's cardback depicted a silver version, it is suspected that this was merely photography of an Estrela toy, and that the silver version was never sold in Argentina.

<span id="Goldbug"></span>
*Goldbug (Throttlebot, 1987)
**Japanese ID number: C-97
**Notable appearances: ...All Fall Down!
**Period of activity: Cartoon episodes 95–end, Marvel Comics (US) 28–50

: The Throttlebot Goldbug was released in 1987, and like the other Throttlebots, he has a pull-back motor and a simple transformation. The vehicle mode was not designed to look like a penny racer, as the original toy was, so its variation on the Volkswagen Beetle was much more realistically-proportioned. Though the other Throttlebots seem to have always been intended to be new characters, Goldbug's head was based directly on that of Bumblebee's original toy. Bumblebee was the second Transformer to be given a second toy (as both Hot Rod and Rodimus Prime had been released the year previous).

:This toy was reissued in Europe in 1991 as part of the Classics reissues, along with the rest of the Throttlebots. The toy was retooled to remove the rubsign indent, the heat-sensitive decal proper replaced with a glossy-paper faction symbol.

:This toy is also the IDW Generation 1 continuity Goldbug.

<span id="Pretender"></span>
*Bumblebee (Pretender, 1989)
**Accessories: Pretender shell, helmet, large "sonic blaster" rifle, small "laser pistol"
**Period of activity: Marvel Comics (US) 58–65
: As part of the sixth year of Generation 1, Bumblebee was released as a "Classic Pretender", expanding the range of Pretenders toys. This version of Bumblebee is still a Volkswagen Beetle, but now has what look like off-road tires. He came with a gun for his robot mode that could be mounted on his roof and another gun for his human shell. Oddly, the robot's head is modeled after Cliffjumper's toy head.

<span id="Legend"></span>
*Bumblebee (Legends, 1989)
**Accessories: "Laser pistol"
**Period of activity: Marvel Comics (US) 65–80
: The inner robot to Pretender Classics Bumblebee was sold without the shell as a K-Mart exclusive Legends figure, but with the inner-robot gun to his teammate Jazz, who had Bumblebee's small gun in exchange. The Legends figure was also sold in a set with Legends Grimlock, Jazz and Starscream in Japan the same year.

<span id="ActionMaster"></span>
*Bumblebee (Action Master, 1990)
**Accessories: Heli-pack, rifle
**Notable appearances: None yet identified
: A non-transforming action figure that mixed cartoon model with toy-detail, Bumblebee's Action Master release came with a Heli-pack that transforms into a large "high-powered air rifle" with spring-loaded deploying barrel. This release makes Bumblebee the only character to have a toy of some kind available during the entire original Transformers production run (from 1984-1990).

Generation 2
*Bumblebee (Mini Vehicle, 1993)
**Period of activity: Generation 2
: Bumblebee's first Generation 2 toy was a redeco of his original toy, but with gold chrome on the previously yellow parts.

<span id="Go-Bot"></span>
*Bumblebee (Go-Bot, 1995)
**Accessories: Rifle
**Notable appearances: None yet identified
: Bumblebee's second release in the Generation 2 line was as a recolor of the Go-Bot High Beam, transforming into a concept race car with exposed rear engine. He features through-axle construction for incredibly fast zipping on flat, smooth surfaces, and is compatible with many tracks and playsets from Hot Wheels and Matchbox.

: This mold was also used to make Robots in Disguise Crosswise and Nightracer.

Smallest Transforming Transformers
*Bumble (2003)

: Bumblebee was released in 2003 in the Japanese Smallest Transforming Transformers line as a scaled-down version of his original toy.

*Bumble (2003)

:Bumblebee also came in red! Red Bumble was a chase.
Titaniums
* War Within Bumblebee (Cybertron Hero, unreleased)
**Accessories: Unknown, likely display stand

:Prior to the line's cancellation, a 6-inch resin copy depicting a transformable Bumblebee was seen at 2006. His alternate mode was the saucer-like car seen the Dreamwave's The War Within (which was itself based on the first cartoon appearance of Bumblebee). An alternate head of Cliffjumper was seen as well, indicating a retool. Unfortunately these never made it into production.
Classics
*Bumblebee (Deluxe, 2006)
**Accessories: Wave Crusher trailer/backpack

: The Deluxe Classics Bumblebee transforms into a yellow sports car (labeled as a "cruiser" on the package). The genericised car model comes from Volkswagen's unwillingness to license the Beetle for a Transformer. To avoid having to find him a whole new altmode, this version of 'Bee takes his design from a combination of a "hatchback" style car and a Bug. He comes with a single accessory, a jet ski called "Wave Crusher" on a trailer. This is a bit similar to his Action Master toy's transforming heli-pack. In robot mode, Bumblebee is articulated with ball joints at the head, shoulders, elbows, hips, and has hinge knees. Wave Crusher converts into a jet pack that mounts onto his back.

: Later versions retooled the area the rubsign rests on to be larger.

: This retooled version of this mold was also used to make Classics Bug Bite and Cliffjumper.

*Bumblebee (Legends, 2007)

: This Classics Bumblebee toy is a redeco of Legends of Cybertron Hot Shot, transforming into a modified Chrysler ME Four Twelve concept car. In either mode he has flip-out "wings". We have gone full circle.(well, this might exlplain why he was almost called "Hotshot in TFA.)
Transformers (2007)
*Slumblebee (2007)

: Slumblebee is, as his name suggests, a plush Bumblebee toy based on his original Generation 1 form. Obviously he has no problems with articulation and passes the drop test with flying colors. You can transform him into his car mode (which is totally not a Beetle, as far as Volkswagen can prove) by turning him inside out. Truly he is a new zenith of cuteness.

*Legacy of Bumblebee (Deluxe class multi-pack, 2008)

:A Walmart exclusive three pack, the Legacy of Bumblebee collector's set comes with Classics, Premium Series live-action movie, and Animated Bumblebee figures. While the Movie and Animated Bumblebees are identical to their original, single carded releases, the Classics Bumblebee has been redecoed to more closely resemble his Movie and Animated counterparts, changing his white stripes to black, and his grey/silver plastic to yellow, similarly to Henkei! Henkei! Bumble.

:This pack comes in Movie style packaging, but not specifically marked as such.
**Accessories: Wave Crusher trailer/backpack

:Henkei! Henkei! Bumblebee is a redeco of Classics Bumblebee. Bumblebee swaps some of his black plastic for dark gray, and his light gray plastic for yellow. His yellow plastic is almost entirely covered in yellow paint to deal with the common problem of yellow plastic being near-translucent against darker plastics and the inconsistency between bare plastic parts and painted clear parts. His eyes are painted blue despite being molded in translucent plastic. As with all Henkei toys, he lacks the Classics heat-sensitive rubsign, but has some vacuum-metallized parts: his hood-mounted scoop and his spoiler.
*Bumblebee (Legends, 2008)

:Universe Legends class Bumblebee has a vehicle mode that is something of an amalgamation of the vehicle forms recent Bumblebees have adopted. While he forms a modern hatchback like the Classics Bumblebee and Animated Bumblebee toys, the more aggressive design with large flared wheel arches, and small windows evoke the look of the live-action movie version of Bumblebee. He transforms similarly, but not exactly as his Generation 1 toy.

Alternity
*Bumble (2009)
**Japanese ID number: A-03

:Alternity Bumblebee transforms into a licensed Suzuki Swift. Although originally said to be Bumblebee released in "Champion Yellow" and "Pearl Red" colors, the red version was later revealed to have a retooled head, making it Cliffjumper instead.

Alternators
: One of the earliest proposals in the Alternators/Binaltech line was for Bumblebee as a Volkswagen New Beetle, with Cliffjumper as the redeco. Unfortunately, VW had similar concerns as Porsche, what with not wanting to be associated with "war toys", therefore the design never made it past the control drawing stage (it looks like they made other arrangements). Control drawings for both Bumblebee and Cliffjumper have been published in the Japanese The Transformers: Binaltech & TF Collection Complete Guide book.
Canada is like the United States of America, but bigger, politer, and health care-ier. In retaliation, the United States wears Canada like a hat, eh?

Toronto is Canada's largest city, eh? (Yes, there are cities littered aboot the country!)

Non-fiction, eh?
Canada has had a surprisingly large behind-the-scenes role in producing Transformers. It is home of Mainframe Entertainment, who produced the Beast Wars and Beast Machines television series. It was also home to the now-defunct Dreamwave Productions whose top-selling 2002 Generation 1 revival comic led directly to the production of the 2007 movie.fact Several Transformers voice actors and comic artists also call Canada home.

During the tail end of Generation 1, Canada received several toys the U.S. did not, like the Turbomasters. Generally speaking, US exclusives tend to turn up at Canadian retail, with Walmart and Toys"R"Us keeping their exclusives and Target exclusives winding up at Zellers, a Canadian chain.

Due to Canada being a bilingual country, it's always had multilingual packaging. The toys also required multilingual character names for a long time. This tends to cause problems, as Toys"R"Us has for a long time not produced multilingual packaging for their exclusives, resulting in them being sold in most of Canada but not in the French-speaking province of Quebec. This has changed with the release of the "Masters of Metallikato" two-pack, but it remains to be seen if it will be the exception or the new rule.

Perceptor is head of the Autobot Ministry of Science, and thus one of the finest minds on Cybertron. His high-caliber analytical skills help keep Autobots one step ahead of the exiled Decepticons in their technology. He frequently works with Wheeljack on special projects.

Fiction
:Voiced by: PlainTalk (English) (See notes)
Millions of years ago, Perceptor participated in "Project: Omega", attempting to create a living weapon of mass destruction that would serve as the Autobots' last hope for defeating the Decepticons. The end result of the project was Omega Supreme. During the final stages of the project, Perceptor explained to field tech Ratchet that Omega had been designed with a simple processor and would require a mentor-bot to guide his actions. Having inherited the activation codes to Omega from the mind-wiped Arcee, Ratchet was thrust into this mentor position, and followed Perceptor's directions to bring Omega online. TransWarped

Perceptor was given the data downloaded from the programming of the captured Decepticon Starscream and ordered by Ultra Magnus to initiate project Safeguard. He expressed concern regarding the risks of implanting Decepticon programming into an Autobot shell, and so was instructed by Ultra Magnus to find an expendable test-subject to offset the danger. Eventually, two suitable subjects landed in his lap, a pair of split protoforms who had been injured working in an energon refinery. While Wheeljack reinforced the two Autobots' structures to withstand the upgrade, Perceptor reverse-engineered the Decepticon flight codes and passed them to Red Alert for the data-merge. Though the resources of the Ministry of Science were sorely strained by this project, it eventually yielded Jetfire and Jetstorm.

When Megatron brought Omega Supreme back to Cybertron, Perceptor was caught in the midst of the debate over what to do about the gigantic ship. Perceptor and Alpha Trion deliberated on the proper course of action, though their ponderings were made moot when Sentinel took the law into his own hands and attempted to destroy Omega. He failed, but the members of the Autobot High Council were very upset (or at least, Alpha Trion was upset, what with his still having emotions and all). Perceptor is head of the Autobot Ministry of Science, and thus one of the finest minds on Cybertron. His high-caliber analytical skills help keep Autobots one step ahead of the exiled Decepticons in their technology. He frequently works with Wheeljack on special projects.

Captain Carmine Fanzone is the apparent head of the Detroit police department. He hates machines, but in an "I'm old" sort of way rather than being evil or anything. However, despite his oft-repeated mantra of "This is why I hate machines/robots" whenever some device in his vicinity goes on the fritz (often with comedic, embarrassing results), he's pragmatic enough to make use of technology when needed. For example, he's a world champion at yelling at subordinates through megaphones for added effect. And firing heavy weaponry at rampaging robots.

Despite his endless battle with the march of progress and general poor luck, Fanzone is a good cop, dedicated to protecting the people of his city, even if he dislikes certain demographics. He's also not a bad guy to have in a brawl. He doesn't completely trust the Autobots, but he's at least assured that they mean well and, like him, are here to protect and serve the people of Detroit. He just wishes that they'd stop destroying so much of the city in the process.

Along with machines, he also hates lawyers and kids, but most of all, he hates tech support for machines.

:Voice actor: Jeff Glen Bennett (English), Axel Lutter (German)

It was the beginning of a bad day when Captain Fanzone got a call for all units to respond to Sumdac Systems down by Lake Erie. (It was in the middle of his lunch break.) Taking command of the assembled emergency units, Fanzone quickly realized that they were in over their heads fighting a rampaging cybernetic bug-slug, and he ordered all humans to fall back and allow the drones to deal with the creature. When he noticed four cars refusing to fall back, he demanded to know who they were...at which point he realized a cop bike had no driver, and his own car was among the group. It got even weirder when it turned out they were alien robots, but some little girl managed to talk the cops down from shooting at the invaders.

Several days later, Fanzone, the Mayor, Isaac Sumdac, and that robot that looks like his car were taken hostage by an evil jet, but were saved by the aforementioned little girl and the cop bike. As the cop bike took him down, Fanzone declared that this is why he hates machines. Thankless primate. Transform and Roll Out

Fanzone was courted by Prometheus Black, who hoped to use the Captain's mistrust of machines in general and Sumdac products in specific to win his company a contract with the Detroit police department. However, once he saw the berserk rage that Colossus Rhodes displayed when smashing up the parking lot of an arena, he decided he didn't much like Black's biotechnology either. Not long after, he presided over a demonstration of new Sumdac models which proved to still have a few bugs in the system. Sumdac mentioned that these models had much better recognition systems, thus avoiding a repeat of "the unfortunate incident with the Captain's wife". However, sabotage courtesy of the newly minted supervillain Meltdown ensured that the new robots were still far from ready for prime-time. Total Meltdown

When police responded to the rampage of the Dinobots, Captain Fanzone arrived and asked how bad it was into his megaphone...to an officer who was standing right next to him. The officer pointed at the rampaging robots, as a mechanical triceratops sent a car flying through the air, which hit Fanzone's car, crushing it. Captain Fanzone remained completely unmoved, then grabbed a bazooka from a nearby officer and fired at the triceratops...which promptly ate the projectile. Fanzone again proclaimed his dislike of machines. Blast from the Past

After Nanosec's defeat by the Autobots, Fanzone took the suddenly elderly supervillain into custody. Nanosec (episode)

Captain Fanzone accompanied a number of DPD officers to a military base where the Decepticons Blitzwing and Lugnut had been sighted. He was quite miffed to find that the two giant alien robots had apparently vanished into thin air, unaware that the two had adopted Earth modes and were hiding in plain sight, and with very odd color schemes. Lost and Found (episode)

Captain Fanzone was brought in to lead the investigation regarding Sari Sumdac's disappearance and probable kidnapping. In questioning the Autobots, he was somewhat dubious as to the merits of teaching a little girl "ninja nerve blows." After noticing suspicious behavior from Prowl and Bulkhead, he resolved to follow the two Autobots and pursued them in a (increasingly leaking) submersible. Luckily, Fanzone arrived on the island safely, though his vessel crumbled into pieces. Nature proved almost more hostile to the Captain than technology, ultimately resulting in him getting trapped in quicksand and requiring rescue from the very individuals he was shadowing. Grudgingly going along with them, he uncovered Prometheus Black's plan to genetically alter Sari into a biotechnological shapeshifter. His outrage was brief, however, as the mad scientist dropped him into a gladiatorial arena and sicced his failed experiments on the Captain and Prowl. Forced to team up to survive, the Autobot earned the Captain's respect and trust as they fought their way out of the research facility. Survival of the Fittest

And then that trust was destroyed along with a good portion of Detroit after Megatron's rampage. When an alien ship landed in Detroit, Fanzone told the Autobots to stay away, lest something worse happen. When it turned out to be the Cybertron Elite Guard, Fanzone was resigned to the fact that the Autobots would have to deal with them. While the Autobots aboard the alien ship, he refused Sari Sumdac's plea to go to their aid. Once Optimus Prime stepped out and told them they were Autobots, Fanzone appeared mildly relieved—until a missile carrier and a jerk monster truck rolled right after Prime, with the later vehicle denting Fanzone's car. Why did it have to be robots? The Elite Guard

During a press conference with Mayor Edsel and the monster truck named Sentinel Prime, Fanzone received a phone call from what he believed was a woman reporting on Decepticon activity. Heading to old Detroit, Sentinel Prime condescendingly told the humans to stay away. Later, he was on hand to arrest Henry Masterson, only for Porter C. Powell, the new CEO of Sumdac Systems, to arrive and point out that Masterson had committed no real crimes, as robots weren't protected by law, not to mention that the incident occurred on a boat in international waters between the United States and Canada. Reluctantly, Fanzone released Masterson. This is why he hates businessmen. The Return of the Headmaster

With the prospect of being recalled to Cybertron, the Autobots had the dilemma of who was going to care for Sari after the mean old businessman put her out on the streets. First on their list of grade-A trustworthy humans was Captain Fanzone. Granted, the list was short and also included Prometheus Black and Nino Sexton. In an effort by the Autobots to get the two humans to bond, Sari discussed with Fanzone the merits of being able to stay up as late as she likes, as well as her need for a very large allowance.

Captain Fanzone breathed a sigh of relief when the Autobots got to stay. Sari said they could still hang out. Mission Accomplished

The captain was close by when a breakdown in human-robot relations occurred during the Autobots' assistance with a garbage strike. Breaking up the confrontation between a curmudgeonly citizen and the similarly curmudgeonly Ratchet, he advised the veteran Autobot that he needed to work on his people skills. When someone like Fanzone says this, you really ought to worry. Garbage In, Garbage Out

While pursuing some of the racers of Street Demon show, Fanzone managed to arrest two of them who'd been driven off the road by a blue car when the Autobots provided assistance to the drivers. Interrogating one (and serving as both good cop and bad cop), he learned where the next race would be. As he headed downtown, he was surprised when Bumblebee drove up alongside and opened his door, and Sari Sumdac told him to jump into the car—at which point he noticed a fighter jet shooting missiles at him. Fanzone jumped into Bumblebee, where Sari revealed that Master Disaster was controlling the blue car with some sort of remote control. After the aforementioned blue car won a mid-air game of chicken with the jet, Bumblebee removed the two humans, then went to fight the Decepticon. As Master Disaster tried to sneak away, Fanzone placed him under arrest. Velocity

SUV: Society of Ultimate Villainy

After Meltdown was abducted from jail, Fanzone was called in to investigate. While at the scene, Fanzone encountered Porter C. Powell, who immediately blamed Sari and the Autobots for Meltdown's escape, and was shown a recorded conversation they had with Meltdown as proof. Suspicious, Fanzone asked him how he obtained that recording, which was met with an evasive response from Powell. After Powell pompously demanded that he provide him with police protection, Fanzone ignored him and walked off. Later that night, Fanzone received a call from Powell, informing him that a robbery had been committed by the Autobots, though the only thing they took was Meltdown's genetic modifier. Turned out that the robbery and Meltdown's escape were caused by their "Spider-Lady Friend" blackmailing the Dinobots and Optimus Prime into helping her and the Autobots returned the genetic modifier back to Powell, albeit melted and damaged beyond repair. An irate Powell demanded that Fanzone arrest the Autobots for endangering his life, but Fanzone, already fed up with Powell at this point, said he was going to get some sleep and walked away, but not before telling Powell to do the same or he'd arrest him for being a public nuisance. Black Friday (episode)

After Optimus Prime defeated Headmaster, Fanzone showed up mutely to arrest him. TransWarped

When the Constructicons (under new management) started their oil-racketing gig, Fanzone asked whether Bulkhead knew the rude oil guzzlers in question. When Bulkhead admited so and claimed that they were simply good bots that fell in with the wrong crowd, Fanzone told Bulkhead to tell his 'good bots' that he does not appreciate illegal horseplay in his town, especially if it's by machines. Three's a Crowd

Fanzone was given a Sound Wave for Christmas, with the note "A machine even you could love". It proceeded to take over his mind. Meanwhile, in a virtual world, Bumblebee stole virtual-Fanzone's car.

Upon the real Soundwave's defeat, Fanzone was freed. Human Error, Part II

When the police heli-drones started malfunctioning, Fanzone went to Sumdac Tower to complain to Isaac Sumdac in person. All he found was Ratchet trying to work use Bulkhead's Space Bridge to find Omega Supreme. Then said heli-drones appeared and started attacking Fanzone. Fortunately, his life was saved when the Space Bridge activated and sucked Fanzone out of harm's way. Problem was, it sent him to Cybertron, a planet inhabited completely by robots. Things did not turn better when one robot encouraged her large friend to step on him. Fanzone's life was saved when Ratchet, who had also jumped through the Space Bridge, showed up. Unfortunately for Fanzone, all of Cybertron was anti-organic, thanks to their new leader, Sentinel 'Magnus'. He was apprehended by Sentinel and was a witness to the Autobot Council's debate whether or not they should fire on Omega Supreme. When Ratchet's disagreement with Sentinel caused him to be branded as a traitor, Fanzone provided a decent distraction with a loud (and disgusting) sneeze.

Ratchet and Fanzone escaped to the underground tunnels, only to find someone had been living there for a while: a tall one-eyed Decepticon that Ratchet identified as Shockwave. When Shockwave revealed his plans to steal Omega Supreme's access codes, the two bots had a tussle and Shockwave got away. Fortunately, Fanzone knew where to go: to the guy in town who dealt in false documents. Ratchet and Fanzone were able to convince him to give them an access card to the Cybertron Central Infirmary. When those codes turned out bogus, Jazz, who Fanzone knew had been tailing them since the tunnels, gave them a genuine keycard. Then Ratchet showed them what they were fighting over: a comatose robot dame. However, they had just led Shockwave to her. Fanzone demanded an explanation of why she was so important. Ratchet briefly told him how he and Arcee were captured by Lockdown when Ratchet was transporting her and the activation codes she carried, only for her memory to be wiped by Ratchet's EMP generator. Ratchet then put Fanzone and Arcee into the room, only for Shockwave to break into the room, bury Fanzone in rubble, and fly off with Arcee.

Later, two of the Autobot Council provided Ratchet and Fanzone a Space Bridge ride home. The moment was slightly soured by Ratchet refusing to give Sentinel the Magnus Hammer and jumping through the Space Bridge with Fanzone. Back on Earth, Fanzone loudly complained about how he had been "mixed up in a war, nearly stepped on, blasted, buried in rubble, and possibly zapped into space" and was now an accomplice in intergalactic grand theft. Then Ratchet destroyed a malfunctioning heli-drone and Fanzone called it even. Then Jazz came through the Space Bridge so he could join the Earth Autobots, much to Fanzone's annoyance. This Is Why I Hate Machines
* According to Marty Isenberg, Captain Fanzone was named after Detroit native Carmen Fanzone, a neighbor of his and a former player for the Chicago Cubs. Due to the relative scarcity of Fanzones in Michigan, the real Fanzone had to sign a waiver before the character could be used. The real Carmen Fanzone also doesn't look or sound anything like the Animated one.

* Fanzone's ability to open his eyes seems to vary from episode to episode. In many episodes (seemingly the ones animated by The Answer Studio) his eyes are permanently closed... which does match the stock character model seen above, granted, but probably isn't how he's supposed to be 24/7.

* Captain Fanzone is so slow to adopt new technology that he has a rotary dial cell phone...and he even has problems with that.

* His car has been crushed several times, yet it continues to show up to be crushed again. He must have good insurance.

* Fanzone's extended family, including his wife and mother-in-law, have been alluded to on a number of occasions, but have yet to make an actual appearance. Given that it's been implied that the other Fanzones are just as susceptible to "unfortunate incidents" with technology as the captain himself is, that's probably just as well.

* Fanzone is actually the first human ever to set foot on Cybertron in the Animated universe.

*His car was scaned for Bumblebee's earth mode(minus the rust and possible burger grease and cheese stains).
