Some people might get on Hashtag's case for compulsively surfing the web and sometimes caring more about it than RL, but you can't deny the level of excitement and engagement she brings to every new method of online communication she finds. The young Terran finds herself granted with not just innate internet-savviness but also borderline technopathy thanks to her [[G.H.O.S.T.]] surveillance van [[alternate mode]]. While perhaps not having the best social tact or attention span, she's nevertheless eager to put her skills and abilities to use when it comes to helping her fellow Terran siblings, even if it come off as a little self-aggrandizing at times.

The otherwise happy moment was interrupted by a cave-in caused by a battle outside of the cave between [[Optimus Prime (ES)|Optimus Prime]] and [[Bumblebee (ES)|Bumblebee]] against the Decepticon Seekers, [[Skywarp (ES)| Skywarp]] and [[Nova Storm (ES)| Nova Storm]]. {{storylink|Age of Evolution, Part 1}} Despite being only a few seconds old, Hashtag and the other new Terrans instinctually came to their new family's safety by shielding them from the collapsing cave rubble.

As they headed for the spire Mandroid had erected, they encountered more controlled Autobots and Hashtag had to stay behind to battle the Sharkticons with Nightshade and Jawbreaker, allowing Twitch and Thrash to go on ahead, however Mandroid successfully activated his superweapon, putting Hashtag and the other Transformers on Earth into shutdown. Contacting Bumblebee for help, she and Bee were able to infiltrate G.H.O.S.T.'s mountainside base to rescue the trapped Hashtag. Discovering Hashtag's new alt-mode gave her vast Wi-fi powers, Twitch provided encouragement to Hashtag to use them to help them escape G.H.O.S.T.'s base while their forces were busy dealing with a Decepticon prisoner riot (inadvertently caused by Hashtag). Twitch found herself recruited by Hashtag in her attempts to make a movie out of Jawbreaker's attempts to find an alt-mode. Jawbreaker was first brought to life at the same as his other siblings [[Nightshade (ES)|Nightshade]] and [[Hashtag (ES)|Hashtag]] by the Malto siblings [[Mo Malto| Mo]] and [[Robby Malto| Robby]] via the [[Emberstone]] in the same cave where their other [[Terran]] siblings, [[Twitch]] and [[Thrash (ES)|Thrash]], were first created. Emerging from the collapsed cave, he was warmly greeted by legendary Optimus who inquired about Jawbreaker and his siblings' names. Stuck at a loss, Mo used her connection via her [[cyber-sleeve]] to inform everyone that his name was Jawbreaker, like her favorite candy which the burly Terran seemed to be delighted by. Sensing the pain the other Maltos and Terrans felt about learning their [[Dot Malto|mother]] was held captive by someone called [[Mandroid]], Jawbreaker volunteered to help rescue them. While infiltrating Mandroid's base with Nightshade and Hashtag by posing as Decepticons who captured Optimus, Jawbreaker inadvertently helped expose their ruse when Mandroid noticed the Decepticon insignia stickers he had were peeling off. A battle erupted that saw Mandroid's base turn into a walking mech that required the combined efforts of Malto family and their allies to take down. Jawbreaker aiding Mo in taking out the Mech's cameras that allowed Mandroid to see. Now a part of the Malto family, Jawbreaker was, unlike Nightshade and Hashtag, eager to acquire an alt-mode but wanted to make sure it was perfect like his mentor, Bumblebee's. {{storylink|Hashtag: Oops}}. Fretting over how to pick the right alt-mode, Jawbreaker attempted to interview others on how they got their theirs through the form of a video interview. Though he soon found his quest usurped by Hashtag when she offered to help and turned the project more into an attempt to make a movie than help Jawbreaker. When taken to speak with [[Megatron (ES)|Megatron]] and [[Elita-1 (ES)|Elita-1]] about how they got their alt-modes, Jawbreaker finally found some of the guidance he was looking for. Lamenting he didn't feel vehicles were right for him, he got his worldview expanded when Elita revealed to him Transformers could scan more than just vehicles. Jawbreaker then finally confronted Hashtag over her hijacking of his documentary for which she apologized. When the reclusive Decepticon scientist, [[Tarantulas (ES)|Tarantulas]], kidnapped [[Dot Malto|Dot Malto]] and [[Alex Malto|Alex]], Jawbreaker arrived on scene shortly after his parents were rescued by Nightshade. {{storylink|Missed Connection}}. Jawbreaker, along with the rest of his siblings, found himsel inadvertently trapped in the [[dugout]] when security measures installed by Nightshade and Hashtag went into effect when [[Jon Schloder|Agent Schloder]] arrived at the Malto farm. This made him and the others unable to help Dot and Alex as they tried to keep Bumblebee from getting arrested by G.H.O.S.T. {{storylink|Security Protocols}}

On Mother's Day, Jawbreaker found himself spending his first day experiencing the holiday being chased by a mutated mother bear looking for her cub that Twitch had kidnapped. Lamenting it went after the one Terran who didn't have an alt-mode. {{storylink|Bear Necessities}}

Jawbreaker and the rest of the Malto children were taken to [[Spacebridge Memorial Park]] by Megatron, where he attempted to give them a history lesson on the Autobot/Decepticon War and the importance the Terrans represented. They found their nighttime history lesson interrupted by the return of [[Shockwave (ES)|Shockwave]]. Jawbreaker, along with Twitch and Hashtag, found themselves forced into stasis thanks to a shot from the Immobilizer by Shockwave intended for Megatron. When taken, along with the rest of the Terrans, by Robby and Mo to [[Philadelphia]] for the first time, Jawbreaker's good time at experiencing city-life took a sour turn when he, Thrash, and Mo found themselves tricked into entering an underground Bot Brawl fighting ring. Initially pleased when his first opponent turned out to be an undercover Bumblebee, the two found themselves having to face down the mind-controlled Dinobot, [[Grimlock (ES)|Grimlock]]. Working together, with Thrash and Mo, the group were able to free Grimlock from his mind control though they had to quickly depart as the Dinobot quickly went on a fire-breathing berserker rampage, deciding to let him cool off. Reuniting with the rest of his siblings, Jawbreaker eagerly volunteered to go back to with Bumblebee to rescue Grimlock. {{storylink|Home, Part 1}}

The search for Grimlock however soon turned into a battle with the returning Mandroid. After taking down one of Mandroid's newest Arachnamech creations, Jawbreaker and the rest of their family soon found themselves having to fight their brained-controlled sister Hashtag. Hesitant at fighting their sister, they group found themmselves outmatched by her size and Wi-fi powers. They were all able free their her when they were empowered by a mysterious energy that originated back from the cave where the Terrans were born. With their sister freed, Jawbreaker and the others raced back to Witwicky in hopes of getting home before their parents woke up {{storylink|Home, Part 2}}

This gun can store on the underside of her drone mode, plus there is undocumented storage for the piece on her robot-mode back, though it interferes with her hip articulation. The clear-plastic wings are safely removable from the socket joints, and while probably unintended, can fit in her hands as blade-weapons like in the show, if one fits them in right above the ball joint.

After Bumblebee took the Terrans to school as a scouting mission, their emotional link caused the kids to experience motor control malfunctions as well, resulting in Robby telling them to go home. Twitch, however, slipped into a zombie-like state and went to a spot in the forest where she began blasting the ground. The ground eventually gave way, plunging her, Thrash, Bumblebee and the kids into a cave where the two Terrans became so low on energy, they went into a form of [[stasis lock]]. Fortunately, as it turned out, the water in the cave was able to restore their energy completely. {{storylink|Friends and Family}} During another training session, Bumblebee turned teaching duties over to [[Arcee (ES)|Arcee]], who forced the Terrans and kids to do tasks until they rebelled. Arcee took the group into battle against [[Soundwave (ES)|Soundwave]] and they were successful in helping Bumblebee take down the three cassette-bots. {{storylink|Decoy (episode)|Decoy}}

During a G.H.O.S.T. ceremony, Twitch and Thrash were forced to stay home with Bumblebee to maintain the secrecy of their existence. As a result, the pair were unable to help the Maltos when [[Skywarp (ES)|Skywarp]] and [[Nova Storm (ES)|Nova Storm]] attacked G.H.O.S.T. Learning of the origins of the Terrans, Optimus decided it was time to investigate further and had the Terrans and kids lead him to the cave where Twitch and Thrash were originally born. Alex, Robby, Mo and the Terrans ventured inside and retrieved the Emberstone, however Skywarp and Nova Storm returned with Arachnamechs aiming to capture Optimus. Those small enough retreated underground, only to be followed by Mandroid's mechanical drones, and witnessed the birth of three new Terrans. {{storylink|Age of Evolution, Part 1}} After successfully escaping the cave, the family regrouped with Optimus and Bumblebee to come up with a plan to rescue Dot and Megatron, who had been captured by Mandroid. The new Terrans posed as bounty hunters, bringing in Optimus, Twitch and Thrash as prisoners. Unfortunately Mandroid immediately saw through the scheme and unleashed his giant mech. Twitch joined Megatron in the air, providing covering fire so the others could take out the mech's external cameras. That done, the group set their sights on taking out the mech's cannon, and with Megatron too damaged to do so, Twitch threw herself into the task, successfully taking out the cannon's targeting ability while the others took their turn providing covering fire.
