Well, I'd suggest when you get around to updating the picture of his Cybertron toy, point out the stuff here: "In planet mode, he is considerably more detailed than Armada Unicron, with visible cities, including Iacon, based upon its appearance in the DK Publishing book, Transformers: The Ultimate Guide, and Kaon, specifically Kolkular, as seen in The War Within.", because I have the toy, but I can't tell which visible city is which, as I don't have the comics/books that are mentioned, and I think that would help many collectors and researchers down the line to have that info more accessible. ::I believe the timezone preferences only change how you see your watchlist, history pages and the recent changes page at your end. Message signatures are all set to EDT. I live in New Zealand, and my preference is set to my local time, but my message signatures still show up using EDT as well, it's just how the software is set up I guess. As for Primus, it'll be a little while until I get around to adding new toy pics. I have a backlog of Beast Wars and ROTF toy photos that I need to finish editing before I can take any new photos. Talk pages are also not the place to make demands for changes to the wiki. If you have something that you would like to add to the wiki, it's best to make that change yourself. The wiki is a collaborative and voluntary effort and it is up to the user to make the changes they see fit, we don't request others to do it for us. Also, if you are worried about having your edits reverted for not being up to snuff, I'd recommend taking another look at the welcome box at the top of this page for our style guide and help sections. Our Discord server linked in the above box is also a good place for getting help when starting out and I would highly recommend you join. : Actually, I was on the Discord at some point, but I got banned over a miscommunication issue regarding me. Apparently I asked for members for my fanfic or something, but when I asked what the staff whom accused me was talking about, they just shut down on me. I recall asking a few questions in the server mentioning that I was using the answers to further enhance said fanfic, such as info on some stuff that I couldn't find here, like bios for minicons, and info about a voice actor, and something else, but nothing like "Hey, join my Discord and help on the fanfic.", which is what I was accused of. I tried to appologize and make amends, but I got banned for not listening, and I still don't know why I'm banned, just something about posting something that I shouldn't. They also said that I was "fighting with staff", which I asked about only to be told more or less "if I don't know what they are talking then they don't have to explain". Now I'd get it if I was faking or something, but I genuinely don't know what I did to get IP banned. I did say some things that I was told not to say/do, and once I was told to stop, I said, more or less, "Ok, I'm sorry.", then stopped and never did it again. I don't know if someone made false claims, or the staff or someone else misread something I typed, or even if I was mistaken for someone else. All I know is I'm IP banned. I only know this as I tried to rejoin on an alternate account to try and repeal the ban, or at least understand what I did, but then I found I was banned on there too, dispite never using that account on the server. Now if I did do something wrong, that's fine, I accept the punishment, but I'm genuinely unsure what I did, as what I was accused of was neither something I did, nor something listed in the rules of things not to do. Well, unless I overlooked something, which is quite likely as I have the bad habit/tendency of doing that. So hey, yeah, sure, I'd gladly use the Discord server, but I can't if I'm banned. So unless you or someone else can help me in that regard, I'm stuck. Also, when I was typing that thing out about demands, I was not thinking. I even think that I was mad at something else and thus blinded by anger, but I don't recall. However, either way, that doesn't make it right. I'm still in the wrong. I honestly didn't even realize that I did that until someone pointed that out, which I am truly sorry about. Normally I don't act that way, and normally I just ask about info, but this time I thought that I was in the right, so I thought that stating it needed an update was the appropriate response. Also, just so you know, I wasn't worried about my edits reverted for not being up to snuff, I was more concerned that I would be breaking a rule for deleting the comment/caption on the picture in the most recent case. Plus if it's removed/reverted for not being up to snuff, that's fine. This site is supposed to have proper info, so if I post something that is wrong info, I'd like someone to come along and change it. Besides, given the fact that the entire point of this site is to give proper info, there's not much I can do about that. I mean, since I use this site for all my Transformers info, it wouldn't be of much use to me if it has wrong info or missing info. Honestly, when I mention that I think someone else should change it, it's due to me not having or knowing the right info, and I don't want to post wrong info to begin with and cause someone to be confused or misled, let alone be the reason that someone has to edit and fix my mistakes. So I try to have the right info to begin with, thus when I don't have it, but know (or in this case "think") that info is wrong or misleading, I feel like it's better to speak up and mention that it might be wrong, rather than to change it to something that is wrong when it's right to begin with, or even make it more wrong than it was to begin with. Not only that, but sometimes I can't find the right info, and most places more or less depict this site as the ''only'' one that has the right info. So when this has wrong info, I sometimes can't find the right info due to everything directing me to here for the right info. It's just a paradox at that point. :Generally, we go looking for a Wayback Machine link to replace it, so long as Wayback Machine was able to preserve any of the information that the link was originally there for, otherwise the link gets nuked. However, if you don't know what information the link is referring to, it's best to leave it for someone else to clean up. Simply put: stick to what you know you can help with and the leave what you don't know to someone else, someone will get to it eventually, there is no rush for things to be finished. As I have stated before, the wiki is a voluntary effort.
:However, I'm going to be brutally honest here because I'm starting to notice a pattern occurring. The whole point on joining a wiki is to help fill in gaps and build a more solid structure around the things that you are familiar with. If you have to keep asking other people questions about things that you are not familiar with, you'd be better off leaving it because it is becoming counterproductive. Question 4: What do I do I find that a toy list thing (as I have no clue what to call it) is missing a toy (I'm meaning this type of toy list thing: https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Hot_Rod_(G1)/toys , but not this one as in the since of "the question is due to the issue in question occuring on this page", but rather just as an example of the type of page), but I have some info for it, like at bare minimum, just the fact it exists? Like how do I go about placing it in the right place, like in regards to proper release date order? Also, what if it is posted elsewhere in the wiki on another toy's page, but not as a mess up, but rather as due to the fact it's in a multi-pack of sorts, could I just copy and paste the info that is identical for it and the other toys in the pack, and then hope that someone else knows the remaining info and can input it in? : Foreign names are provided by international fans where the names might've been changed from either their American/British or Japanese versions due to whatever laws and reasons other countries operate under, and the translations are provided by fans who know the languages. I've unblocked access to your talk page in case you wish to make a case for being unblocked. As I mentioned above, you should be finding an area where you can contribute to the wiki without needing to ask a lot of questions on talk pages. Your adding of an item to your todo list to clean up foreign names on the wiki despite admitting you don't know where the foreign names come from suggests that you have not taken this advice on board. I was not trying to make another account, I was trying to change my email as I have it set up on my gmail, which I neither use nor know how to, and I want to set up my outlook email as the one linked with my account, which is what I was attempting to do. Historically, 1997's ''[[Machine Wars: Transformers|Machine Wars]]'' was the first ''Transformers'' toy line made up entirely of redecos.

In terms of immediate succession, the ''Universe'' line was a continuation of sorts of the extended [[Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2001 toyline)|2001 ''Robots in Disguise'']] line, which also consisted of redecos of toys from older lines, most of which were available as store [[exclusive]]s.

The [[Walmart]] exclusive ''[[Transformers: Dinobots|Dinobots]]'' mini-line that was available concurrently with the ''[[Transformers: Armada (toyline)|Armada]]'' line was also a precursor of the ''Universe'' line in some ways.

Lastly, the name of the line originated with the [[BotCon 2002]] exclusive toys, which were branded with the title ''[[Transformers: Expanded Universe]]''.

===Initial conception and original run===
The ''Universe'' line was originally intended to run concurrently with the main ''[[Transformers: Energon (toyline)|Energon]]'' line and the ''[[Transformers: Alternators|Alternators]]'' and ''[[The Transformers: Generation One Commemorative Series|Generation One Commemorative Series]]'' lines and consisted of the mass retail [[Size class|price points]] "Deluxe" (US$10) and "Ultra" (US$20). In addition, an unusually huge number of store [[exclusive]] single toys and multi-packs (often with additional [[Mini-Con]]s or Mini-Con teams) was released as well. Some of those multi-packs were even available at lower prices than the original releases of those molds combined. The [[OTFCC 2003]] and [[OTFCC 2004|2004]] exclusives were also branded "Universe".

The molds used for the ''Universe'' line spanned from as far back as late-[[The Transformers (toyline)|Generation 1]] to the most recent lines. Molds from ''[[Beast Machines: Transformers (toyline)|Beast Machines]]'' and ''[[Transformers: Armada (toyline)|Armada]]'' were particularly common in the line. Some molds that had previously only been available in Japan (such as [[Big Convoy]] or the [[Micromaster]] [[Combiner|Sixcombiner]] teams) were also made available to Hasbro's target audience for the first time that way.

The first wave of toys came with a [[Pack-in material|pack-in]] [[Universe CD-ROM|CD-ROM]] featuring related stories and games.

The line was officially only available on the American market, although some toys (the aforementioned Micromasters, in particular) were released in some European countries in ''[[Transformers: Energon (toyline)|Energon]]'' and ''[[Transformers: Cybertron (toyline)|Cybertron]]'' packaging, coupled with a few American imports (such as the [[Battle in a Box]] sets) that were sold by online retailers and specialty stores.

===Discontinuation and continuation===
The ''Universe'' line effectively died as a mass retail line when Wal-Mart decided to discontinue the Ultra Class assortment in late 2004 due to low sales. Earlier that year, Wal-Mart had already stocked half a dozen exclusive ''Universe'' toys, which had also ended up as [[shelfwarmer]]s. The Deluxe assortment was cancelled by Hasbro shortly afterwards.

Two more KB Toys exclusive Deluxe toys (in ''[[Transformers: Cybertron (toyline)|Cybertron]]''-esque packaging) followed in 2005, as well as two more KB Toys exclusive [[Micromaster]] waves in 2005 and 2006, respectively. Furthermore, three Ultra two-packs that had already been produced before the Ultra assortment was cancelled eventually ended up as Target exclusives, also in 2006.

Aside from those delayed releases of already planned toys (except for the KB Deluxes), the ''Universe'' line continued for nearly ''four'' more years (!) following the cancellation of the mass retail assortments, but now only in the form of [[rebranding|rebranded]] toys from more recent lines such as ''[[Transformers: Energon (toyline)|Energon]]'', ''[[Transformers: Cybertron (toyline)|Cybertron]]'', and ''[[Transformers: Classics|Classics]]'', with no [[redeco]]es whatsoever. After the ''Universe'' line had ended as a mass retail line, the short-lived 2006 ''[[Transformers: Classics|Classics]]'' line briefly served as an all-encompassing line that contained a few redecos of toys from older lines (most notably [[Legends Class (2005)|Legends of Cybertron]] figures) in addition to new molds.

In early 2004, a large number of stolen samples of toys intended for the ''Universe'' line appeared on [[eBay]]. Even though none of those toys were ultimately released, all of them were later officially revealed by Hasbro one way or another. The first message detailed the Omnibots' arrival on [[Earth]]: The Autobots marooned on that planet had sent an S.O.S. to [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] despite not knowing if anyone would be there to receive it. Luckily, their plea was answered in the form of the Omnibots, [[Powerdasher]]s, and [[Time Warrior (G1)|Time Warrior]]s. The Omnibots quickly adapted to Earth's highways, scouting for and attacking [[Decepticon]]s. {{storylink|Reinforcements from Cybertron!}} This message was later repeated almost verbatim, with minor changes made to accommodate a recruitment drive for [[S.T.A.R.S.]] {{storylink|The battle is far from over!}}

The Omnibot [[Overdrive]] personally narrated the next message, describing how he and his comrades had turned the tide in the Autobots' favor and were gearing up to strike at hidden Decepticon bases. Overdrive seemed to be speaking specifically to military personnel, and his message segued into the activities of [[G.I. Joe (team)|G.I.
