First in a line of Omega Sentinel weapons, Omega Supreme was grimly aware of the heavy combat toll his friends must have suffered for him to even be activated in the first place. Omega Supreme does not hesitate to unleash his colossal firepower and risk his own life and safety on their behalf.

After being left grievously wounded in a victorious battle against the Decepticons, Omega Supreme was put into stasis. His starship alternate mode was put into service as a repair/maintenance vessel under the command of Optimus Prime.

As the starship Orion, Omega Supreme has a crew of five, including its captain, and its systems are managed by a female-voiced artificial intelligence which is addressed as Teletran-1. The ship's equipment includes a set of six emergency stasis pods, an extendable boarding/docking tube, and a pair of large manipulator arms that emerge from roof panels and are controlled manually from the bridge. While it also possesses some offensive weaponry, these systems were disabled when it was turned into a repair ship. Its navigation protocols include automatic course-correction for navigating through obstructions such as asteroid fields. It is also meant to have an emergency defence system codenamed "Omega," but in the interests of conserving energon, said system is currently disabled. However, it still has active sensors for detecting unwanted or unauthorized invasion by foreign objects.

Omega Supreme was the end product of "Project Omega", an Autobot attempt to create a weapon of mass destruction that would serve as their last, best hope of defeating the Decepticons and ending the Great War. Built with a simple processor so that he would be able to perform his duties as a death-bringer without ethical or emotional qualms, Omega was to be partnered with a mentor that would guide him in his actions. This mentor was intended to be Autobot intelligence officer Arcee, who was carrying in her processor the codes to bring Omega online, but when an encounter with Lockdown and Ratchet wiped her memory core, a failsafe program transferred the codes to Ratchet, and the medic was left with no choice but to become Omega's teacher. Omega was brought online and introduced himself to Ratchet as his to command; his pupil, dependant and servant. Ratchet merely introduced himself as Omega's friend.

Omega Supreme successfully carried out his mission, bringing an end to the Decepticon threat in a mighty battle that left him fatally wounded. At Ratchet's instruction, Omega transformed into spaceship mode, and Ratchet placed his friend into a modified form of stasis until he could eventually be repaired. TransWarped For reasons unknown (possibly the simple lack of need the Autobots had for his power, now that the war was won), Omega was never brought back online, and his body became a simple ship in the Autobot space bridge repair fleet. Ratchet stayed by his friend's side, serving as a member of the crew that came to populate Omega's inactivate body. A Bridge Too Close, Part II

Long after the war, while piloting the ship on a standard space bridge repair mission in a remote sector of Autobot-controlled space, Optimus Prime and his crew discovered the lost, legendary AllSpark. Almost immediately, they were located by the Decepticon warship Nemesis. The Decepticons' leader, Megatron, assaulted the Autobots' ship directly, attempting to melt through its hull, but he was sabotaged with a bomb by his lieutenant, Starscream. After the bomb went off, the ship went careening through an asteroid field almost totally out of control. From within the ship's hold, the AllSpark activated a nearby space bridge portal, which exploded after the ship plunged through it.

The ship emerged from of warp in low orbit over the planet Earth, with all hands still on board—along with Megatron. Once Prime managed to force Megatron out through the docking tube, he piloted the ship through its last stages of reentry, steering it clear of a populated area while the rest of the crew got into their emergency stasis pods. Once the ship was past the city and over water, Prime too got into a stasis pod, and the ship crashed into Lake Erie. Fifty years later, an invading glob of nanites penetrated a crack in the hull, activating the ship's intruder alarm system, which wakened the crew. In the aftermath of investigating the glob and helping the natives it was threatening, the Autobots set up a base in an abandoned car factory in downtown Detroit. The ship remained on the bottom of Lake Erie, should they need it. Transform and Roll Out

When Decepticons tracking the AllSpark's energy signature became a problem, Optimus Prime ordered the Autobots to repair their ship so that it could be moved away from Earth. Ratchet was seen to speak to the ship as an "old friend," though not even its AI was active. Sari questioned this, but Ratchet became defensive, and in the end, all he would say was that the ship used to be a military vessel. This fact came in handy when the ship came under Decepticon attack; utilizing the Key, he was able to bring the decommissioned weapons systems back online and defeat them. Lost and Found (episode)

Ultimately, Ratchet was forced to take the vessel airborne, first to evade the Decepticons, and subsequently to try to transport the AllSpark offworld. Both of these attempts failed, resulting in the ship ultimately crashing into the caldera of the dormant volcano on Dinobot Island. Megatron Rising - Part 2

And there it remained until Blurr alerted Optimus Prime's crew to the fact that Megatron was on the verge of constructing a working space bridge to Cybertron. Optimus then ordered Ratchet and Sari to attempt to revive Omega Supreme. A Bridge Too Close, Part I

Through "open-spark surgery", using four AllSpark fragments and making heavy use of the Key, Ratchet finally managed to revive his old friend. Omega was initially delirious and confused, thinking he was still fighting his dying battle on Cybertron and telling Ratchet that he was surrounded by Decepticons and didn't think he would make it. He soon got his bearings, but he was still slow and unsure after being offline for two million stellar cycles, and he needed heavy prompting from Ratchet to move. When he finally did get himself airborne, he was shocked and happy at his return to life, but he was at a loss as to how he got on a world other than Cybertron.

His reverie was quickly interrupted by an attack from several Decepticons. Following further hefty prompting from Ratchet and power boosts from his magnetics and the AllSpark Key, he was able to transform and strike back. Declaring his name to the Decepticons, he made short work of the villains, and proceeded to enter Megatron's base. There, he found the space bridge in overdrive, threatening to pull the entire state and transport it to some random co-ordinates. Ejecting Sari and Ratchet over Ratchet's vocal protests, he absorbed the TransWarp energy and was sucked into the malfunctioning portal, which then fully self-destructed. A Bridge Too Close, Part II

Not long after, Omega's inactive body was discovered by Megatron and Starscream, who had both also been pulled through the space bridge portal before it was destroyed. Seeing an opportunity, Megatron forced his way into the slumbering giant's body, but in doing so, caused Omega to reactivate. Omega's internal systems seized and disarmed Megatron, but the charismatic Decepticon exploited Omega's simple mind and convinced him that it was his duty to take him back to Cybertron to "face justice". Omega transformed back into ship mode and revealed a heretofore unseen ability to TransWarp under his own power, without a space bridge, but one short jump drained him of all his power, and he returned to sleep mode before reaching the planet. Unable to escape Omega's heavily armoured body, Megatron instead used a pair of stasis cuffs to "hotwire" Omega's body, opening up his control cockpit and taking manual control of the giant Autobot. Before Megatron could do anything, however, Omega was beset by some strange, space-borne alien rock monsters, and the Autobot transwarped away to safety, once again draining all his power.

Megatron fixed that problem by inserting Starscream's head—and the AllSpark fragment it contained—into Omega's systems, charging him up. Megatron TransWarped Omega to Earth, where he transformed the titan to robot mode and took control of his body to attack Optimus Prime's Autobots. Prime and Prowl were able to infiltrate Omega's body, and Prowl accessed Omega's internal processor in order to help Omega's suppressed consciousness fight back against Megatron's control. Omega succeeded in rejecting Megatron, but Starscream then promptly seized control and turned Omega's power on both the Autobots and Megatron. Even as Omega fought against Starscream and begged the other Autobots to take him offline again, Megatron talked Starscream into an alliance. The pair were about to TransWarp Omega to Cybertron when the Autobots planted a plasma dynamic thruster on their friend's body, which sent him and his two Decepticon passengers randomly warping across space. TransWarped
Eventually, the transwarping ship would come across Lugnut, reuniting him with Megatron as he had wanted.
Decepticon Air

Sometime after that, Megatron disabled the plasma dynamic thruster and gained control of Omega's transwarping and transformation capacity—though couldn't get the weapons online. The giant Autobot then came to rest in robot mode over Cybertron. While the inhabitants panicked, Megatron directed Shockwave to continue searching out Omega's activation codes. All that constant transwarping had built up such a surplus of transwarp energy in Omega Supreme's body that—when combined with the effects of a random energy storm in space—it simulated the effect of a space bridge and teleported Ratchet and Captain Fanzone to Cybertron. Sentinel Magnus wanted to destroy Omega Supreme and the Decepticons inside him, but the Autobot High Council was swayed towards patience by Ratchet's pleas (and the eensy little fact that shooting Omega, in his transwarp-infused state, might take out all of Cybertron with him). Shockwave succeeded in capturing Arcee and her activation codes and bringing her onto Omega Supreme; when Sentinel heard this, he ordered Fortress Maximus to destroy Omega Supreme, but it was too late: Omega transwarped into Earth orbit. This Is Why I Hate Machines

After Omega Supreme landed on the moon near the Nemesis, Bumblebee transwarped onto Omega in a failed attempt to rescue Arcee, but had to retreat. As it happened, Omega's activation codes were quite well-protected within Arcee: despite Shockwave trying everything from tricking her with his "Longarm" persona, to using machines to scan her thought patterns, to electrically seizing control of her body and forcing her to bring the giant under Decepticon control, he was unable to get the necessary security patches and so Omega's weapons remained unavailable to Megatron. Which led to plan B: construct a trio of Omega clones under the control of Lugnut. Shockwave hooked Lugnut into the real Omega's computer relays, from which he would then direct the actions of the clones.Endgame, Part I

Shockwave kept trying and failing to extract Omega's activation codes. While the dark clones assaulted Earth, Ratchet, Bulkhead, Bumblebee, and Sari transwarped to the moon and rescued Arcee. Once she was fully awakened, Arcee brought Omega Supreme back on-line. Omega ejected Lugnut from his body, then hurried to Earth. By that time one of the Lugnut Supremes had already been deactivated, and Omega valiantly battled against the remaining two. He showed surprising speed and dexterity in combat, quickly transforming to spaceship mode in order to cushion his fall after being knocked backwards by his enemies. Omega managed to destroy one of the clones, but was struck from behind and disabled by the last one (which also spun him around like a pinwheel, leveling much of Detroit in the process). Eventually, the Autobots triumphed, and Omega Supreme carried them and the captured Decepticons back home to Cybertron. The cheering onlookers in the parade thought they were happy upon seeing the return of their victorious heroes—but when Omega Supreme transformed to robot mode at ground level, right in front of them, they were momentarily astonished into silence. Then, even more cheering! Endgame, Part II

Omega Supreme flew above the Kaon arena where Team Stunticon was having their show, promoting the event. The Stunti-Con Job
Ratchet and Sari piloted the Orion toward the battle for the Decepticon Space Bridge, feverishly hoping that their comrades could hold out until their arrival. The Cool Episode 7

They made it in time, though they came under attack from the Starscream clones. Ratchet immediately activated Code Omega, transforming the Orion into Omega Supreme. Omega Supreme vanquished the clones, then decided to stop the overloading Space Bridge by absorbing all its power. Ratchet pleaded with him not to, as it would destroy him, but Omega explained that it was the only solution. Thanking his friend for everything, Omega dove into the vortex and vanished. After the battle, the Autobots joined into bidding their friend farewell. The Cool Episode 8

Omega Supreme found himself warped to the same coordinates as Starscream and Megatron, however. Megatron intended to turn him into "Omegatron" and use him to conquer Cybertron. Megatron made the mistake of trying to boost Omega's power with Starscream's spark, which allowed Starscream to take possession of Omega. Using a warp, Starscream returned to Earth in Omega's body and attacked. He was defeated when Megatron and Optimus Prime fried Starscream's link system with a combined attack. Omega toppled over, deactivated, his life status unknown. The Cool Episode 9

Notes
* As with most of the characters in the show, Omega Supreme shares many similar details with his Generation 1 counterpart, specifically his clear orange face mask, the cannon at the back of his head, his three-fingered right hand and his massive left-hand blaster. Ratchet also describes him as the Autobots' "last line of defense", a role which was also given to the original.
* At 2007, the Hasbro representatives repeatedly named the Autobots' ship the Ark. At 2008, lead writer Marty Isenberg claimed the ship is not the Ark, but merely a repair vessel. However, lead artist Derrick J. Wyatt immediately responded that it very much is the Ark (a conversation that some fan sites failed to report accurately). The model sheet for the ship even labels it the Ark. However, no fictional depictions ever referred to ship as the Ark and it was eventually revealed to be Omega Supreme.
* In the cartoon, the crew of the stasis locked Omega Supreme avoided calling the ship by name entirely, only referring to the computer as "Teletran-1". But in the comic adaptation of the cartoon, the ship itself was referred to as "Teletran-1". The AllSpark Almanac backs up the idea that "Teletran-1" is indeed the name of the on-board computer only. The AllSpark Almanac II gave the ship the codename Orion.
* This of course isn't the first Autobot ship to end up embedded in the craggy face of a dormant volcano.
* The non-traditional manner of rendering Teletran-1's name (hyphenated, with one only "a" and an Arabic numeral instead of a roman I) is more than likely derived from DK Publishing's Transformers: The Ultimate Guide, which misspelled the name of the computer's Generation 1 counterpart in this fashion.
Reverse-pretender technology is an inversion of the usual Pretender process—rather than a Transformer hiding inside an organic shell, this technology allows a human to appear as a Transformer. It is unknown if it imparts a larger size, or if a human employing the technique would be a mere six or seven foot tall robot.

Fiction
Animated
Jim Sorenson and Bill Forster used reverse-pretender technology, salvaged from Epsilon Holdings, to interview Decepticons as their equals. Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac

Jim Sorenson and Bill Forster disguised themselves as Octus and Megadeath, respectively, to interview Decepticons. Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac II They likely utilized reverse-pretender technology.

Commercial Appearances
At the end of many commercials during the Generation 1 era, kids would mouth "Robots in disguise!" as they transform into either Galvatron or Ultra Magnus. Commercial#Generation 1

Notes
* The kid-becomes-robot stock endings used in Generation 1 toy commercials was retroactively identified as a use of reverse-pretender technology by the AllSpark Almanac in 2009. As these commercials appeared before the introduction of Pretenders, if taken literally this means reverse-pretender technology predates Pretender technology by several years.
Octus is the robotic alter-ego of the human Jim Sorenson. When going undercover to research Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac II, Sorenson masqueraded as Octus in order to interview Decepticons safely. Little is known of the real Octus, save that he transforms into a Mark III Travel Machine. Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac II

Notes
* The text implies that Sorenson disguised himself as Octus, and therefore that Octus is a separate entity, a Decepticon with an alternate mode and six arms (unlike Sorenson). However, one could also interpret it as saying that Octus is just the disguise, not a real Transformer; this seems the less likely option.
** The disguise is achieved with reverse-pretender technology .
* Animated Octus is based on the one-time Generation 1 Decepticon leader Octus.
