Rob Tokar was an American editor of the Marvel Comics Transformers book, holding this job from issues 70 through 80, when the series was cancelled; he is also credited by some sources as having done coloring on at least one issue. He further served as editor for the relaunched Transformers: Generation 2 comic.

In addition to his plethora of work with Marvel, he has also been editor on numerous other works, including several manga collections published by Tokyopop.
Andrew Wildmans artistic association with Transformers began when he did several covers for the Marvel UK comic. His first strip work came in issue #198, which was scripted by Ian Rimmer from a plot by Simon Furman. He thought it was just going to be a minor job like BraveStarr or Real Ghostbusters...

After Furman took up writing for the Marvel US version of the Transformers comic, Wildman came aboard 13 issues later, simultaneously penciling the cover and interior of #69. He would pencil the book to the end of its 80-issue run, only skipping #75 (which was illustrated by Geoff Senior). His style was noted for its fluid 'people in costumes' approach to the robots, partly to show off how he could potentially draw superheroes (artists got rent to pay!) and partly to fully show that the Transformers were emotional people. A big influence here was Barry Windsor Smith's work on Machine Man (which coincidentally was a back-up strip in Marvel UK's Transformers).

After Transformers, though the collaborations between Wildman and Furman would continue on and off over their years at Marvel, Wildman would go off on his own for lengthy stints, such as pencilling Larry Hama's G.I. Joe and Peter David's Spider-Man 2099.

Simon Furman and Andrew Wildman would be brought together again years later for 1997's convention comic, "Ground Zero". Wildman was also tapped to do the box art for that year's exclusives, Fractyl and Packrat. Wildman did the package art for 1998's Antagony and Vice Grip as well, and later supplied colors for 2000's "Terminus".

The two Britons stayed together following their creative reunion, subsequently forming Wildfur Productions as a joint venture.

While Andrew Wildman was not quite as active as Simon Furman in the 2000s Transformers comic revivals, he was still a visible presence. On the British side of things, he provided the retail covers to all of the Titan reprints of Generation 1 comic material, and pencilled eight of the nine issues of Panini's short-lived Armada comic series. Over in North America, he pencilled the The War Within: The Dark Ages miniseries for Dreamwave Productions, and has done several covers for IDW Publishing's Infiltration.

While at Marvel, Wildman worked extensively with inker Stephen Baskerville, whose talents greatly complemented Wildman's own. After not working together for some time, they briefly reunited for the final issue of the Panini Armada comic.

Everything old became new again with the production of The Transformers: Regeneration One — IDW's modern-day continuation of the US Marvel comic. Wildman teamed not only with Simon Furman again, but also with Stephen Baskerville for the production. This came about after Wildman worked on several covers for IDW, intended as his "absolute final goodbye note" to the franchise and with no plans to do interior work, until he learned that work would be with Simon and finishing the old run "with real gravitas". He dropped out from #92 but returned to draw part of the grand final.

In recent years, Wildman has founded a UK-based charity organization, Draw The World Together; done storyboards for episodes of the revived Doctor Who; written and drawn the graphic novel Horizon, which got plaudits from Dave Gibbons and everything; and, for fun, life-drawing sketches and naturalistic paintings.
David Kaye (born David V. Hope on October 14, 1964) is a Canadian voice actor and, man, he is in everything. Some of his more popular roles in the world of animation include Professor Xavier in X-Men Evolution, Khyber and several Omnitrix aliens in Ben 10: Omniverse (and Grandpa Max in the 2016 reboot), Clank in the Ratchet & Clank franchise, Superman and Hawkman in DC Super Friends, and he's well known within the G.I. Joe franchise, having voiced General Hawk in both the final season of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero and in Sgt. Savage and his Screaming Eagles, and Patrick O'Hara (father to Scarlett) in G.I. Joe: Renegades.

In the world of dubbing, Kaye has played Treize Khushrenada in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Sesshomaru in InuYasha and Recoome in the Ocean Group dub of Dragon Ball Z. He is also the announcer for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, and voiced all those commercials for Enzyte featuring the eternally-creepily-smiling "Bob".

Kaye originally began his voice acting career as a member of the Canadian voice acting union, doing voice over work out of Vancouver. In 2007, he moved to the US, joining the American voice acting union in LA and now does voice over work exclusively in the States.
Notes
* He is the only voice actor who has voiced both Optimus Prime and Megatron as regular roles. Kaye has also lent his voice to eight separate Transformers series, the most for any single Transformers voice actor.
* Ironically, when auditioning for Beast Wars, Kaye originally read for the role of Optimus Primal while Garry Chalk read for the sinister Megatron.
* Kaye has described his take on Megatron as being "a cross between Anthony Hopkins, Sean Connery, and a lizard".
*Bill Fagerbakke says his mom is hot. This disturbs him. And us.
*Kaye was interviewed as a special feature for Kid Rhino's Beast Machines The Complete Series DVD set, and also on Madman Entertainment's Beast Wars season 3 box set.
*He has been known to oblige requests at conventions to sing the Sesame Street Rubber Ducky song in his Beast Wars Megatron voice. And to this day, it's very catchy.
*When Transformers fan Moosetron was dying of leukemia in late 2013, Kaye recorded a private video greeting for him as a final Christmas gift, partially done in character as Armada Galvatron, along with Steve Blum.
*As noted in the caption above, he's the only actor who's played Superman, Captain America and Optimus Prime. Talk about the red, white and blue!
* Kaye spoofed Transmetal Megatron in the 4-parter "The Day the Night Stopped Beginning to Shine and Became Dark Even Though it Was the Day" of Teen Titans Go (season 4). He is that cool. Yeeeessss
* Kaye also reprised his role as Beast Wars Megatron for a parody in the Robot Chicken Season 9 episode "Factory Where Nuts Are Handled".
* In 1984, Cullen created the voice of Optimus Prime by emulating the mannerisms of his older brother Larry, who had served in the United States Marine Corps in the Vietnam War. Specifically, he based Prime's voice and mannerisms upon Larry's calm, controlled and authoritative approach to serious situations. The Transformers: Prime episode "Partners" was dedicated to his late brother's memory.
* At 2007, Peter Cullen said he'd love to own one of the three modified Peterbilt 379 trucks used in the filming of Transformers. Let's try and picture Optimus Prime driving himself for a moment. Has your brain exploded yet from the sheer awesomeness?
* Cullen has been included as an Easter Egg in various ways.
** The mid-range Voyager class Movie Optimus Prime toy (in its many releases) features a non-removable cowboy-hat-bedecked driver figurine that flips out of the seat when the driver's side door is closed. This appears to be based on Peter Cullen himself.
** In either an artistic case of toy-accuracy, or just Alex Milne having fun, Optimus Prime's holographic driver in Transformers: Alliance #1 is represented with Cullen's likeness.
* He was also the Toonami announcer (or as TOM called him: "The Big Guy") for many years, allowing him to narrate commercials for Armada, Energon and Cybertron. Later, he narrated commercials for Animated, even though it wasn't on Toonami. Because he's Optimus Prime, that's why. However, he did not return to announce Toonami after its revival on May 26, 2012.
* Cullen was asked to reprise Optimus Prime in an episode of Robot Chicken, where the character would enact a dramatization that he's dying from prostate cancer. He turned down the offer as he took the role too seriously to make fun of it, which the Adult Swim people respected him for.
* Cullen also provided the voice of the Renegade GoBots Pincher, Spoiler, Tank and Block Head in the Challenge of the GoBots animated series.
* He expressed that he wanted Michael Bay to return for the fifth live-action film when Bay announced he departed from being the director's position.
* Cullen's voice is unmodified and is entirely his own in his role as Prime's Optimus Prime, work for which he received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in 2011. That's right, guys. You can now describe him as "Emmy Award Nominee Peter Cullen".
* According to DVD commentaries, Cullen was not informed that Prime Optimus would survive the first arc of the third season until the recording session for "Rebellion" came along. Cullen apparently became depressed, worried that kids would go through the same trauma of Optimus dying as kids did in 1986 with the original movie. D'awww.
* On September 30, 2014, Cullen was immortalized on the Hollywood Walk of Fame with a cement printing ceremony outside of Grauman's Chinese Theatre. Optimus Prime was also in attendance and provided his tire marks in lieu of handprints.
*Shattered Glass Optimus Prime's voice is pretty much based after his Venger from Dungeons & Dragons, as stated by writers Trent Troop and Greg Sepelak.

Dan Gilvezan (born October 26, 1950) is an American voice actor and screen actor. Some characters he's recognized for portraying include Slip-Stream on G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, Cooler on Pound Puppies, Colossus on Pryde of the X-Men, Pat Dugan on Justice League: Gods and Monsters and Bug-Man on the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon.

Gilvezan holds the honor of portraying Spider-Man across numerous incarnations, including the Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends cartoon series, dubbing over a live-action Spider-Man in the TV special Laugh Busters, and as Spider-Man 2099 for the video game Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions.

He was also the official spokesman for Jack-in-the-Box restaurants in the early '80s.

Notes
*Gilvezan also appeared at the (unofficial) 2004 convention.
*Gilvezan has penned two books about working as a performer in Hollywood: the fiction novel Drowned in the Grenadine and the autobiographical Bumblebee and Me, the latter specifically about his days recording The Transformers and the fandom. In it, he revealed that the original spelling of his surname was "Giulvezan" (pronounced akin to "Giuseppe"), but he had to drop the "u" due to others having difficulty pronouncing it.
*According to Bumblebee and Me, Gilvezan originally auditioned for Starscream, Ratchet, and Prowl alongside Bumblebee. He was called back for Spike after having already been cast as Bumblebee (a fact he only discovered at the callback), but was not chosen for Spike due to concerns that the characters would sound too similar if he was talking to himself all the time.
Participation in the fandom
Early in Beast Wars run, Mr. DiTillio (along with co-editor Bob Forward) began posting regularly to alt.toys.transformers, answering questions about the show and offering teaser bits of information about upcoming episodes. The pair would also post episode scripts after shows had aired, allowing the fandom further insight into the show's creative process.

Mr. DiTillio and Mr. Forward forged notable relationships with the fandom at large and several individuals within it, culminating in Ben Yee's name actually appearing in the credits of "The Agenda" as a consultant. Mr. DiTillio further credited the fandom as influencing the show's strong ties to the original Generation 1 continuity.

This unofficial relationship was not without its troubles, however. Of particular note was the debacle surrounding the script of the unproduced episode "Dark Glass", which resulted in Mainframe declaring a permanent moratorium on the release of episode scripts.

Both writers would appear as official guests at several BotCons.
Flint Dille (born November 3, 1955) is a writer and story editor who wrote episodes for numerous Sunbow Productions in the 1980s, including [[G.I. As a story editor on the original Transformers cartoon, he was responsible for approving and supervising the writing of scripts, as well as maintaining continuity, and also developed the origin of the Transformers (in one continuity, at least) in "Five Faces of Darkness". He now primarily works in the video game industry, and recorded a DVD commentary for The Transformers: The Movie 20th Anniversary Edition with Susan Blu and Nelson Shin.

Notes
* The "Quintesson origin" depicted in "Five Faces of Darkness" originates in Dille's rejected Transformers movie script, entitled The Secret of Cybertron.
* Although The Secret of Cybertron was rejected, a number of concepts from it made their way into the finished film, resulting in Dille's prominent story consultant credit.
* Dille recalls a scene in a script he edited in which the Autobots survived death by means of Hound's holograms. Thinking it a bit of a cheat, he intended to replace the idea with something else, and added the joking placeholder line "Thank heavens for that bogus plot device or we'd be finished" into the script in the meantime. He wound up forgetting to revise the script, and the placeholder line was almost included in the episode, until it was caught during recording! This particular plot point occurred in both "Fire in the Sky" and "The Insecticon Syndrome"; given the time period in which Dille was involved in the show, the instance he encountered was probably the latter.
* Dille once bailed Chris Latta out of jail. When questioned, Latta claimed to have been arrested for jaywalking.
* Regardless, Dille's favorite Transformer is Starscream.
* Dille appeared on an interview as a special feature for Kid Rhino's The Transformers Season 2 Part 2 DVD set.
Notes
*The head of Grimlock's Pretender shell bears a passing resemblance to Mr. Berger. Though it also looks like Ed Asner, so, um.
*Berger is known for participating in fan events, such as a fan script reading at TFCon 2008 in Toronto, where he reprised his roles of Skyfire, Grimlock and Outback.
*Berger stated he prefers characters that think before they act, yet he truly loves Grimlock, which happens to be his favorite role to date.
*Berger was one of the eight voice actors featured in Shout! Factory's cast reunion in the 25th Anniversary "Matrix of Leadership" Collection of the original series.
*The first issue of Maximum Dinobots was released on his birthday.
*Berger has stated that while "Grimlock's New Brain" was the most difficult episode for him to do, it was also the episode he enjoyed working on the most, as it shows him using his Skyfire voice for Grimlock's intelligent voice.
