== Paring it down ==

I should probably say something here about the edit I just made. I've said it in the past, but I often feel that any fiction sections that are created as the fiction is being produced (so, for the wiki, that's basically the Animated and Prime cartoons) have a great tendency to be overlong, not through anyone's fault, but simply because they're built up week on week, with isolated, perhaps-a-bit-too-detailed episode summaries being added one after the other. Megatron has one of the smallest Prime cartoon sections, since he's only been in like two-thirds of the episodes, but it still seemed ''really'' long for a single 26-episode season with potentially three or four more seasons to be added to it yet as time goes by, and it's nothing compared to some of the Animated ones - and that just sort of sticks out to me, when series of greater length that are written up retroactively after they're done tend to read more quickly and concisely. Obviously, if what I've done offends society and the children, we can revert and I won't object... but frankly, I'm annoyed I couldn't shave off more than 2500 characters. Have the CV Commander infront of me. I see no pack-in file card. A few other things; his swordy bladey thingy doesn't peg in to his vehicle mode as per the instructions- hole is too small on the engine/ fusion cannon. This may be just on mine but i'm bringing it up as a potential mold problem if others have it too. Also, the side of the box has 2/004 printed on it. I'm not saying that I'm actually sure it ''isn't'', and I freely admit that I've not read the two novels, but based on what is said in [[One Shall Rise, Part 3]] and what this page seems to be saying further up, my impression is that Megatron pretty much DID start the war, and was only ever rather debatably a "goodie", depending on how one views his early political idealism. The extent to which Orion/Optimus and Megs fought side-by-side still appears a bit murky to my understanding, and it seems likewise debatable as to whether any such unity was during the Great War proper. Doesn't Ratchet seem to indicate that this took place before either faction really existed, ergo likely before the Great War ''per se''? But yeah, I'm quite unclear on this, so I didn't want to just go ahead and delete/alter it myself.

I have an odd variant of the MW Starscream figure that includes Glow-In-The-Dark missiles. The stock in South Eastern CT (as well as who-knows-where-else) seemed to include these in good numbers, as the original that I bought (and still have) included them, as did a second example that I sent to Orson Christensen/Sidecutter (of Captured Prey) in trade (or if my memory is failing, he may have verified that the one he bought in KY also included them...in any event, he confirmed that I didn't have the only one)

I have always assumed (since they're not standard) that this was just an example of lax QC on the line, and someone tossed GID plastic pellets into the hopper because it was pretty close in color to the right plastic and no one noticed.

In any event, I recently pulled the box with MW Screamer out of storage and tonight I verified that I really really do have phosphorescent missiles. I tried a few different things to take a picture but haven't had much luck. Any suggestions on how to provide photographic proof are welcome, or if the powers-that-be are willing to accept my tale on faith, I could just add a note to the entry...

Given I have watched Macross, I do not think that the scabbard side fins on MP-03 are an homage to Armada or Energon. This is a common cheat Kawamori employs when designing jets. If you don't believe me look at the YF-19

==Cyberverse Legion Breakdown Update==
The Cyberverse Legion Breakdown figure is actually available now! Cyberverse Legion Breakdown is part of the second wave of Transformers Prime Cyberverse Legion figures. He transforms into a sort of SUV and Hummer hybrid with two 3mm holes on the roof of the car. In robot mode, there are two 3mm holes on the top of his hand and both his hands are molded as a 3mm holes as well. Breakdown also comes with a purple translucent gun that resembles the missile launcher he has on the show. The gun can peg into any of his 3mm holes.

Just wondered where, if notable enough, would the function be mentioned that some figures like Deluxe Bumblebee and Roadbuster have various ways of filling in the holes that Mechtech weapons go in. I was a bit annoyed when I first saw the Mechtech guns as I thought it meant the figures would have unsightly holes when the weapons aren't in use but was very impressed that Hasbro came up with those little ways to fill in the holes to leave nothing more than a barely noticable circle. I hope it's something they make more use of in the future and let us use Mechtech and similar sized weapon posts on later figures without too many ugly holes. ==Movie Universe?==
I've been wondering. Are the characters mentioned in Sea Spray's bio specifically placed in the ROTF universe? They are repaints of movie figures, but that really doesn't mean anything since Hasbro regularly repaints figures from one universe to fit in another. If nobody's bio actually places them in the ROTF line, then I would argue that we can place Sea Spray under the G1 heading like with Hound and Sandstorm. Okay, ever since Unite for the Universe, Sea Spray's defenitely a movie guy. I agree with this interpretation of Sea Spray. Poor guy, he cannot get any breaks in continuity. Also his redeco is in Reveal the Shield and *might* be a G1 character.

I agree that Ratchet's memory might not be faulty/there is a continuity error here. Megatron could of been participating in false flag terror against the High Council. In fact according to Ratchet, Megatron's solution was violence, but Orion Pax's was peace. I think it is stipulated somewhere in the novels or War for Cybertron that Megatron was playing both sides of the fence for his own ambition. So Ratchet was right. When they spoke before the High Council, Megatron and Optimus were allies against an insurgent threat created by Megatron to secure power. The Council either saw through Megatron's plans or were truly inspired by Orion Pax to deem Orion worthy of being the next Prime.
