Does anyone else think a fair bit of this episode was a homage to the Proving Grounds episode of Beast Wars? It centred heavily on Black Arachnia stalking and being stalked by Dinobot through a similar forest setting.

Personally I question if people understand what a reference is. A similar situation is NOT a reference. For example, Jack hiding under a log is NOT a reference to Lord of the Rings. Also, the slow down fight in Darkness Rising Part IV is NOT a reference to Saving Private Ryan. A reference is an intentional nod towards previously existing stories. "The first rule of robot fight club is you don't talk about robot fight club" IS a reference.

In this episode we see Arcee pinned on a rock wall by Airachnid's "spider web" at least twice. <br>
The first time she succeeded to free an arm -thanks to her blade- and fire off a shot to her opponent. Why couldn't she do the same thing the second time?<br>

Jacks helmet just kinda… showing up might not be an animation error, per se. Given that she technically doesn't need gas, Arcees "gas tank" may instead be a storage compartment, much like the one on say, the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aprilia_Mana_850 Aprilia Mana 850], which has enough room for a full face helmet. :Sea Spray transforms into a transport hovercraft, with rolling wheels underneath. The rear deck (featuring a fold-down ramp) can carry most [[size class|Scout]] class vehicles, though it is intended to be used with [[Breacher]]. The [[size class|Deluxe]] class [[Hailstorm_(TF_2010)|Hailstorm]] also fits snugly. Sea Spray's turbofans can rotate and tilt at several angles, and feature little fans inside that can spin (only by manual manipulation, as there is no gimmick mechanism linked to them). ==Movie Universe?==
I've been wondering. Are the characters mentioned in Sea Spray's bio specifically placed in the ROTF universe? They are repaints of movie figures, but that really doesn't mean anything since Hasbro regularly repaints figures from one universe to fit in another. If nobody's bio actually places them in the ROTF line, then I would argue that we can place Sea Spray under the G1 heading like with Hound and Sandstorm. :Neither is Brimstone's sigil a Movie one in design, yet he's still firmly placed in the Movie universes. Likewise, I do believe we've had a G1 character or two sport the "Movie" sigil. Okay, ever since Unite for the Universe, Sea Spray's defenitely a movie guy.
