decepticon
:Devastator is a Decepticon combiner from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Devastator is an immensely powerful warrior, and in that sense the combination of the Constructicons into a merged being is a huge success. Mentally, on the other hand, he's very much less than the sum of his parts. Devastator's primitive psyche is limited to only the thoughts and actions on which all his components can agree, which results in raging bouts of destructive fury. Given the sheer power Devastator brings to these rages, Megatron has no complaints.

As an Action Master, he is partnered with Scorpulator.

Normally he is composed of the six robots...

*Scrapper (Leader) – Right Leg
*Hook – Upper Body
*Bonecrusher– Left Arm
*Long Haul – Lower Body
*Mixmaster – Left Leg
*Scavenger – Right Arm

However, in at least one reality, he goes from being a six-robot combiner to a five-bot one, Hook and Mixmaster being replaced by Hightower.

The Constructicons did not initially have the power to merge into Devastator. That ability was given to them by Megatron after he warped their minds into servitude with the Robo-Smasher. They used Devastator to hold Omega Supreme while the Robo-Smasher attempted to warp the guardian robot's mind. They failed and only served to create burning desire for vengeance in Omega. The Secret of Omega Supreme

Millions of years later, in 1984, Megatron had the Constructicons built on Earth to steal high-tech electronic components for his Power chip rectifier furnace, as well as tunneling under the Ark to destroy Teletraan I. Teletraan I, sensing the imminent danger, activated the Dinobots. The Dinobots responded and started pounding on the Constructicons, opening up a lava channel in the process. The battle not going in their favor, the Constructicons pulled out one last trick and combined into the super warrior, Devastator. And then all hell broke loose.

The returning Autobots saw the battle between one giant psycho and five ticked off dinosaurs, but were unable to help (due to losing a tournament which prevented them from interfering with the Decepticons). Inside the Ark, Teletraan I was able to show that Megatron had cheated and the Autobots rushed outside to help the Dinobots. Distracted by a hologram of a giant Autobot created by Hound, Devastator was shot by Optimus Prime and fell apart into the lava. Heavy Metal War

Devastator was continuously called upon during the war on Earth. One of his adventures included scaling the remodeled Empire State Building like King Kong. City of Steel After Megatron's Transfixatron scheme failed, he went for Plan B — brute force. Devastator was unleashed upon the Autobots, and began to mop the floor with them using finger lasers, optical tractor beams, and really heavy fists. The tide turned when Wheeljack and Cliffjumper came upon the idea of using the Transfixatron against Devastator, and they successfully cancelled out the Constructicons' combination form. The Autobot Run

When Megatron attempted to tap the Earth's core to give the Decepticons a limitless supply of geothermal energy, Devastator defended the project from Autobot attack. To get around the giant combiner, Chip Chase and Wheeljack created dominator discs which forced the Constructicons, and thus Devastator, into serving the Autobots. Unfortunately, Megatron had anticipated this plan and built a device to override the dominator discs. When he turned Devastator against the Autobots, Wheeljack turned up the power on the dominator discs, which only served to fry Devastator's logic circuits and sent him berserk, damaging the controls for Megatron's drill just as it was about to pierce the Earth's core. Working together, both factions restored Devastator to Megatron's control and sent him into the ground to take out the drill before it could destroy the Earth. Devastator was surprised by Megatron's cowardly absence after he returned surface, but merely believed Megatron left to plan their next attack. The Core

On another adventure, he helped Grapple and Hoist build their Solar Power Tower. The Master Builders.

When the Constructicons were unloading a supply of Cybertonium from the Space Bridge, they were attacked by the Dinobots. Scrapper ordered the formation of Devastator, but Grimlock caught Scavenger off-guard before he could join with the others. The one-armed Decepticon giant was unable to prevent the Dinobots from transporting themselves to Cybertron.Desertion of the Dinobots, Part 1

After the Triple Changers temporarily disposed of Megatron and Starscream, the Constructicons threw in with Blitzwing as the new Decepticon leader, building a maze around his base of operations. To the surprise of, well, no one... Blitzwing refused to uphold his part of the bargain and make the Constructicons his leadership partners. Enraged, the Constructicons formed Devastator to improve their bargaining posture. Megatron soon returned, however, and in the melee that followed he emerged victorious over Devastator, the Triple-Changers, Starscream, the mailman, and everyone else jockeying for Decepticon leadership. Triple Takeover

After Starscream attempted to overthrow Megatron (again) and was exiled for his troubles, he returned with a powerful team of Decepticons called the Combaticons. During the subsequent battle between the two Decepticon factions, Devastator was soundly defeated by the Combaticons' combined form, Bruticus. Starscream's Brigade

Devastator faced the Dinobots on several occasions, most notably in 2005 during the battle of Autobot City where he defeated Grimlock and Sludge until Slag pushed him through a wall. Before Swoop could get in, some rubble collapsed on him when Devastator attempted to dodge. After the defeat of Megatron and their retreat from Earth, the Decepticons argued amongst themselves who would lead them after Megatron's "death"; Scrapper stated that since the Constructicons could transform into the powerful Devastator, they should rule. They proceeded to try to form Devastator, but were shaken apart mid-transformation by Rumble and Frenzy. The Transformers: The Movie

In 2006, the defeated Decepticons had been exiled to the burnt-out world of Chaar. When Astrotrain returned from an energon run, the Constructicons fought over the few scraps of energon he brought back, but banded together to form Devastator. Menasor hacked Devastator apart with his sword and drove the Constructicons off. Five Faces of Darkness, Part 1

Later, the Constructicons formed Devastator when fighting the Autobots on Eurythma, but he was flattened when Broadside landed on him in vehicle form, and was blasted apart into his component robots by Perceptor. Carnage in C-Minor Late in the year 2006, Devastator and Predaking chased Broadside in the sea of Japan, upsetting the local fishermen. The Burden Hardest to Bear
In search of a new base of operations for their Decepticon fortress, Megatron brought the Constructicons to a utopian island to begin deforestation and construction. When Superion arrived to stop the Decepticons, the Constructicons merged into Devastator and joined forces with Trypticon to confront the Autobot combiner (overkill much?). Trypticon did not approve of sharing his prey, however, and he picked up Devastator and squeezed him until he "popped" back into his individual components. {{storylink|Fight! In 2011, Devastator fought for Galvatron on Cybertron. While Abominus had Superion engaged, Devastator tried to shoot the Autobot combiner in the back. His evil plan was foiled by Optimus Prime, who struck Devastator with a flying jump kick, knocking his blast off-course so that it hit Abominus instead. Four Warriors Come out of the Sky Later, Devastator joined forces with Bruticus, Menasor and Abominus in driving back the Autobot combiner robots. They had them on the run until the Battleship Maximus got involved. The pinnacle of Master technology, the Battleship Maximus sent Devastator and his companions scrambling for cover, and quickly mowed them down. The Mystery of Planet Master Devastator made another attempt to shoot Superion in the back, but yet again shot Abominus instead.
Devastator later joined Galvatron, Sixshot and the Terrorcons in attempting to hijack an Autobot mission of mercy, transporting energon to the planet Sandra. Devastator fought the Autobot combiner Defensor in his efforts to steal the energy for the Decepticons. SOS from Planet Sandra

In Lemuria, Devastator oversaw the processing of crysmagnetal for Scorponok's fiendish towers. Along with the entire Decepticon army, he battled the Autobots at the North Pole. Devastator escaped into space along with the rest of the Decepticons as the battle climaxed. The Final Showdown on Earth (Part 2)
Given the rank of "Technology General" and gifted with a new bitchin' drill-weapon (not unlike the ones his toy had) and armor, Violen Jiger sent Devastator to Earth to steal the Zodiac energy before the Autobots could get it. After destroying the World Trade Center (Not cool, man, not cool!), Devastator drilled deep within the planet, reaching the Zodiac's chamber, and went toe-to-toe with Dai Atlas. He managed to get the Zodiac first and pass it off to King Poseidon. Devastator had the upper hand in battle until Dai Atlas opened a vein of hot lava upon the Decepticon. noteukonly
The Constructicons were the first (and, as it turned out, the last) new Decepticons created by Shockwave on Earth, using the residual power of the Creation Matrix that was within his captive Optimus Prime. Their first mission was to construct a massive communications dish, allowing Soundwave to broadcast a message to long-lost Cybertron. When the dish came under attack by a squad of Autobots, the Constructicons merged to form Devastator, much to the surprise of the attacking Autobots.

Devastator was powerful and tough, but slow and confused as well. Soundwave was connected to the scrambler dish and unable to defend himself; when Huffer threatened to destroy the dish, it took Devastator quite some time to figure out which Autobot Soundwave wanted him to attack ("Destroy Autobot... which Autobot... not these Autobots...")

When Bomber Bill cut Soundwave's connections to the dish, causing feedback which destroyed it, Soundwave ordered the Constructicons to disassemble and retreat, noting that their performance as a single unit had been "notably deficient." The Next Best Thing to Being There!

Devastator subsequently went through much testing and enhancement to improve his operation and co-ordination. Both Soundwave and Ironhide noticed a much more fluid warrior. The Constructicons were sent to kidnap Buster Witwicky and formed Devastator to deal with Autobot interference, but were called off when Soundwave discovered something in Buster's mind. Devastation Derby!

Devastator reappeared when Optimus Prime led an Autobot offensive on the heavily fortified Decepticon Wyoming base. The defenses held the Autobots to a standstill, and Shockwave ordered the Constructicons to merge to tip the balance in their favor. But the attack was nothing but a ruse to draw out Devastator. Bumblebee was monitoring the Constructicons' transformation pattern, and as soon as he successfully recorded it, Optimus Prime ordered a retreat. The information eventually allowed the Autobots to create their own team of combiners, the Aerialbots. Command Performances!
The Constructicons were among the Decepticon warriors assembled by Megatron as he re-established his power base on Earth 15 years after the fall of Unicron. For some unexplained reason, Hook and Mixmaster were no longer part of the group, replaced by a new Constructicon named Hightower. As a result, Devastator's combination was significantly altered.
The giant Decepticon warrior was assembled to battle the Autobots in the Southern Hemisphere, when both groups were seeking out the source of a new set of energy readings. Devastator confronted the Dinobot Grimlock, and the force of their battle was enough to cause the landscape to cave in, revealing the caverns below. Devastator was the first combiner, the end result of the Constructicons' research into mass intellect. However, he suffered a huge drawback in that he would only do what his components agreed on, which was usually smash stuff. Nonetheless, Megatron was pleased with Devastator's power, and authorized the Stunticons and Combaticons to undergo a similar process. When Megatron and Optimus Prime disappeared, the Decepticons and Autobots fractured, and signed the Crisis Intervention Accord, ruling the Special Teams non-aligned. However, Ratbat managed to convince the Constructicons to side with the Ultracons. The Constructicons formed Devastator when Ratbat tried to take the Tagan Heights. He battled Defensor, but was eventually defeated when the Protectobots forced the Constructicons to separate. War Within: The Dark Ages

Eventually, teams of Autobots and Decepticons left Cybertron in search of new fuel sources, only to crash land on a planet called Earth. Awakening in the Earth year of 1984, they resumed their war, but the Decepticons were defeated by the Autobots and their human allies. A great ship named Ark II was built to send the Transformers home, but it was sabotaged by General Robert Hallo and rogue engineer turned arms dealer Adam Rook. The ship exploded during the launch, scattering the Transformers across the Arctic Ocean. After Megatron freed the other Decepticons from Rook's control, he sent Devastator down the west coast of North America. Devastator helped destroy the city until he was initially stopped by Superion, Prime Directive issue 4 and finally put into stasis lock when Optimus Prime shot him point-blank in the head, sending him to the bottom of the San Francisco Bay. Prime Directive issue 5

Over the following months, Starscream had the Insecticons secretly rebuild Devastator and the Constructicons without Megatron's knowledge. When Megatron vanished off the face of the Earth, Starscream took the opportunity to bring his secret weapon back into the light. Devastator made his return debut in the canyons of Nevada, where Starscream led the unwitting Autobot named Sideswipe right into a blast from Devastator's solar energy rifle. When Megatron returned from deep space, Devastator unhesitatingly remained at Starscream's side, and was prepared to tear his former leader limb from limb at Starscream's command. When the Decepticons split into two factions between Megatron and Starscream, the Constructicons were steadfastly loyal to Starscream. They were captured, along with the rest of Starscream's men, when the Keepers settled in Las Vegas. Trapped inside an energy net, Devastator tried to bludgeon his way out at first, until Skywarp convinced the Constructicons to separate so they could dig their way out from underneath the field. Once they were freed, the Constructicons reformed Devastator as the Autobots and Decepticons united in an attempt to destroy the Keepers before the American government carried out the final solution and nuked Las Vegas off the map. Didn't work—the xenophobic President jumped the gun and fired off the nuclear missile early in the hopes of eliminating the Transformers as well as the Keepers. Still, the impending nuclear holocaust wasn't enough to deter Devastator's one-track mind, and he continued to hunt down the Keeper-possessed Bluestreak (since that was the one Autobot mommy and daddy would let him destroy at the moment). During the fight, the Keepers managed to trap Devastator and his massive comrade Omega Sentinel outside a protective field, while they engaged the smaller Transformers inside. This eventually meant that Devastator was too far away to be protected by Optimus Prime's Matrix-constructed shields when the nuclear missiles finally struck. The combined Constructicons suffered massive damage as a result. Annihilation

In the aftermath of the nuclear assault on Las Vegas, the Constructicons were trapped permanently in their Devastator form as a result of their injuries. Devastator was present in the Nevada desert when the American military forces ambushed the Autobots and Decepticons. After that, Megatron sent him and Omega Sentinel to keep watch on the Void gateway being built on Allister Greaves' property to allow the Keepers back into normal space. Optimus Prime and Megatron soon joined them there, and began the final battle against the Keepers' pawn, Franklin Townsend, and his puppets Bluestreak and Starscream. Devastator attempted to swat Starscream out of the sky, but eventually stopped when the Keepers' power faded and Starscream returned to his ever-so-likeable self. Instead, he was forced to contend with the far more formidable Omega Sentinel, who had broken free from Megatron's control and returned to his original Guardian programming. Ultimately, the Omega Sentinel sacrificed himself to stop the Keepers by plunging into the Void, and pulled Devastator with him. When the Keepers' control crystal was shattered, the Void was destroyed and Devastator fell back out into real space. He floated in the vacuum between Mars and Jupiter, in deep stasis lock. A secret American space venture, the starship Bounty, happened across the gigantic Decepticon on their mission, and made plans to bring him back to Earth. Fusion (novel)

Devastator eventually fell into the hands of Earth Defense Command, and was being studied at their secret bunker. Generation One issue 0
The Constructicons formed Devastator to defend the SPS Satellite control center on Cobra Island from the attacking Autobots and G.I. Joes. After telling the Cobra troops that he'd help them since he hated Autobots just as much as he hated humans, Devastator killed Hound with a single shot from his gun. Unfortunately, this angered the Autobot's friends, Bumblebee and Wheeljack, who attacked Devastator along with a squad of human tanks. Gestalt technology was invented by the scientist Jhiaxus many millions of years ago. The technology was intended to be the ultimate fusion in mind and matter between the participants, creating a massive and powerful new form. However, it also created a severe, murderous mental instability in the gestalt members, as seen in Jhiaxus' test subject, Monstructor. Spotlight: Optimus Prime

However, one year after the Expansion, the Decepticons were able to acquire the secret somehow, and somehow solved the side effects of combination, possibly via the use of magic. The Constructions were brought to Earth, and as Devastator, they made short work of the local Autobot unit. All Hail Megatron issue 7 As the Decepticons began conquering the planet, starting with New York City, Megatron ordered the Constructicons to unite and cut off the humans' escape routes out of the city. This occurred just before Omega Supreme arrived and started beating the SLAG out of Devastator by throwing him against a couple of buildings. : Devastator was originally the combined form of the Construction Vehicle Robot team from Takara's pre-Transformers Diaclone toyline.

:Normally, Devastator could only be assembled by buying all six individual Constructicons with the additional large-scale weapons components that were assigned to them. However, six-robot gift sets were made available in many markets, including the US, Japan, and several European countries.

: Devastator's forearms are also spring-loaded missile launchers, able to fire his fists as well as his drill attachments, though the springs were severely weakened in the US for safety reasons. He also comes armed with a large purple laser rifle. Hook and Scavenger's pistols can also be easily added to him for a little extra firepower. While the others' pistols can be added as well, they're not in very useful positions.

: Unlike the later Scramble City-style combiners, Devastator's limbs cannot be rearranged into any other configurations.
: A non-transforming action figure compatible with any other Action Master vehicle or accessory, Devastator's sculpt is based largely on his original animation model, but with a great many toy-based elements added for extra detail. (Most notably, his head is based on the toy instead of the very different animation model.) He came with his small animal partner, Scorpulator. *Devastator (1993)

: During Generation 2, the Constructicons were only available as individuals, never as a giftset. The team was released in two different colors: initially in yellow, then later in bright orange. All individual members are tampographed with the Generation 2 Decepticon symbol and the word "Decepticon". It has been rumored that the later orange version was exclusive to Kay-Bee stores, but this has never been proven.

: Generation 2 Devastator is almost functionally identical to the original release with the exception of the quality of the plastics used, though his forearms and fists were retooled to completely remove the spring-loaded firing gimmick.

: Since the new classics combiner contains only five robots, rather than the original's six, the Constructicon team here contains only Bonecrusher, Hightower (who may or may not be related to Hook and/or Mixmaster, as his bio seems to combine attributes of both), Long Haul, Scavenger and Scrapper. Also, because of the combination method used, he can use any of the Energon-series limb-robots. Hightower and Long Haul are identical except for color (being made using the same mold), as are Bonecrusher and Scrapper.
Notes
*The Generation 1 cartoon series bible contains two descriptions of each Constructicon, and half of them were typed referring to their combined form as "The Destructoid". This was then crossed out by hand, with "Devastator" written above.

* The name "Devastator" was used by Marvel Comics long before the Transformers series came about. In issue 186 of the second Incredible Hulk title (released in April 1975), a Russian supervillain named Kirov Petrovna, aka The Devastator, made his debut.

* Devastator's (or rather, his Diaclone counterpart's) concept design was decidedly less imposing than the final. Interestingly, it is only composed of five components, the core being a long-nosed truck cab.

* Devastator had two different character models in the original Transformers cartoon; at the least, he had two different head designs, one with a visor and one without. Sometimes his head would change designs within a single episode—the "visorless" look is how he appeared for the majority of "Heavy Metal War", but he appears with his visor on in a few shots. While both head designs would continue to be used (almost at random) in subsequent episodes, the visored design was used for his dramatic scene in The Transformers: The Movie, and thus seems to have "won out"; it appears on all modern Devastator merchandise.

* As it was most commonly flanged and synthesized in the Generation 1 cartoon, Devastator's voice carries one or more slightly-offset repeats of itself, presumably intended to convey the idea that he's made up of several individuals.

*Devastator received a Power Plans-esque diagram in the S.T.A.R.S. Tech-Spec Manual, which named various components of his body in... somewhat unusual ways. Notably, Scrapper's shovel (and thus Devastator's foot) is listed as an "rotational angle adjuster", while Bonecrusher's shovel (part of Devastator's shoulder) is listed as "coolant".

* Though a yellow version of the Constructicons were released in the European market at the tail end of Generation 1, they did not come with any of the parts to form Devastator. In fact, Scavenger and Hook had the connector parts on their actual toys removed.

* The above are not to be confused with the very rarely-seen Milton Bradley releases, which had slightly different shades of yellow and purple, had rubsigns and actually did include all parts to form Devastator.

*As an Action Master, Devastator received a set of Power Plans, viewable here. Not surprisingly, none of his listed parts line up with those found in the STARS manual.

* In later years, toys sporting the name "Devastator" required an additional "Constructicon" prefix for trademark reasons, hence making the official name "Constructicon Devastator".

*A statue of Devastator can be seen on the Stop Sector Seven site.

*The Dreamwave profile mentions that Devastator's merging system is outdated—a reference to its pre-Transformer status and unusual six-member system. Allegedly, this is also why Devastator is so powerful (or at least that's what Megatron believes). This follows the longstanding engineering adage (and science-fiction convention) that prototypes are better-engineered than production models.
:Computron is an Autobot combiner from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Computron is the combination of the five Autobot Technobots. Typically, the combiner process dulls the wits of the individual transformers, however, such is not the case for Computron. The Technobots managed to remedy that problem, but in the process, severely lagged Computron's reaction time. Before coming to any decision, Computron must analyze the opinions of every individual Technobot, resulting in his falling behind in battle. In the end, he always makes the correct choice, but more often than not it's too little, too late. Thanks for nothing, brainiac!

Computron is composed of:

* Scattershot (leader)
* Afterburner
* Lightspeed
* Nosecone
* Strafe
Marvel Comics continuity
The Terrorcons and the Decepticon Horrorcons Apeface and Snapdragon were busy "terrorizing" the Nebulan city of Splendora when the Technobots arrived together with Brainstorm and Hardhead to save the day. Once the Terrorcons combined to form Abominus, Scattershot ordered the Technobots to do likewise.

Computron ordered the Nebulans to find shelter, vowing to protect them. He fared well against his dim-witted opponent, first blasting the bajeezus out of Abominus with his primary weapon, then bashing him with a steel I-beam with sufficient force to shatter the Decepticon combiner into his component Terrorcons, who promptly retreated.

Computron stood by as Duros and Arcana separated from their Autobot partners to explain to the shell-shocked Nebulans that this batch of giant alien robots wasn't out to terrorize anybody. Love and Steel!
Cartoon continuity
The Transformers cartoon
:Voice actor: Bert Kramer (English), Yoku Shioya (Japanese), Dario de Castro (Brazilian Portuguese)

After Grimlock created the Technobots from parts within Unicron's head, he revealed that they had the ability to combine to form Computron to counter the new Decepticon combiner Abominus. Computron stated that his computation capacity was near infinite, but he lacked the knowledge to use this capacity. Grimlock then transferred his anti-electron-endowed super-intelligence to the combiner via a silly helmet. Abominus tried to crush Computron in a powerful hug, but the Technobot gestalt fought back by vibrating violently, forcing Abominus to disengage into its Terrorcon components, who fled away along with Galvatron and the rest of his minions. Grimlock's New Brain

He later had a chance for a rematch with the Decepticon when the Terrorcons were found working with the Quintessons in secret on the terraformed moon of Titan. He again defeated Abominus, this time by triggering a mechanism that the Quintessons had installed into the Terrorcons in order to limit the time they could spend in their combined form. Money Is Everything

Abominus got Computron back when the Technobots were sent to defend Mark Morgan's laboratory. Almost immediately after combining, Abominus declared that "Computron think too much" and blasted him. The Return of Optimus Prime, Part 1

The Headmasters cartoon
:Voice actor: Masashi Ebara (Japanese)

The Technobots formed Computron to assist Hot Rod in his quest for the Matrix of Leadership. Computron occupied the Decepticons while Hot Rod made for Cybertron aboard the robot train. He tried to crush Galvatron with his bare hands, but failed. Birth of the Fantastic Double Prime Later, Computron was assembled to battle with his old nemesis Abominus. He covered the Headmasters' retreat so that they could deal with the threat of the metal-warping meteorite unmolested by the Decepticons. Approach of the Demon Meteorite He also helped defend San Francisco from Menasor, Bruticus and their gigantic man-eating plant. Head On!! Fortress Maximus

Computron assembled on the moon to attack the Decepticons during Scorponok's leadership rally. The tide turned when Galvatron arrived and galvanized his troops to strike back at the Autobots. Computron was zapped by the rapidly advancing Decepticons, and fled with the other Autobots. Return of the Immortal Emperor He was summoned again when the Autobots' relief aid supplies for Sandra were in danger. Computron faced off against Abominus, and calculated that the most probable method of defeating his opponent was a slo-mo flying jump kick. It worked. SOS from Planet Sandra

When the Decepticons fled into deep space to seek out new sources of energy, the Technobots joined Fortress in hunting them down. Computron was seen battling Abominus on the Twin Star planets. Battle for Defense of the False Planet He also confronted Predaking on Paradise. Head Formation of Friendship

Back on Earth, Computron was assembled several times to deal with the growing number of Decepticon attacks. He was formed in Miami to defend an Autobot energy facility from Abominus and the Decepticons, but was unable to return to Autobot City in time to save Ultra Magnus from Sixshot. Ultra Magnus Dies!! As Sixshot's attacks continued, Computron was dispatched to another site as the Autobot forces wore thin. The Emperor of Destruction Vanishes on an Iceberg Later on, Computron helped Raiden and Defensor demolish an old Decepticon base after the enemy abandoned the planet Earth. Miraculous Warriors, Targetmasters (Part 1)

Computron joined the entire Autobot army in journeying to the North Pole for a climactic battle with Scorponok. He fought against the evil combiners as the battle raged. Along with all the other Autobots present, Computron lent his energies to the Headmasters' Head Formation to revitalize Fortress Maximus at the critical moment. The Final Showdown on Earth (Part 2)
Faced with the new Decepticon Headmaster base in a moon-like setting, the Technobots combine into Computron. Mr. Smart Guy strides forward confidently, only to get wholloped with huge bolder thrown by Scorponok.
: Computron is formed out of all five Technobots. As a Scramble City combiner, each smaller Technobot attach as limbs into the central body, Scattershot. He is completed by attaching fists, feet, a large chestplate, head and is armed with Scattershot's rifle. Like Bruticus, one can leave most of the smaller toys' vehicle mode weapons attached.

:As the combining connection points are on Scattershot's knees, it means there is some baggage around Computron's thighs as Scattershot's lower legs are hanging off them. Also, Nosecone is nominally Computron's left leg, but due to Nosecone's combiner connector being set further back than the hole that the foot attaches to, Nosecone makes Computron look like he's always taking a step forward.

Notes
* Computron's standard animation model uses Lightspeed's chest as the combiner's back.
* Since the Japanese name for the Decepticons is "Destrons", any Destron subgroup names, such as "Combatron" or "Stuntron", also ended with "-tron". The association was further enforced by the presence of the individual Transformer names "Megatron" and "Galvatron". Thus Computron's name was changed to "Computicon" for the Japanese market, even though "-ticon" was normally used in the English-speaking market as a stock suffix for Decepticon subgroup names.fact
Strafe was part of an Autobot force during the Great War, ordered into battle by Warpath. Presumably, he ended up being either a typical casualty of war, or killed by Oil Slick's Cosmic Rust. Bots of Science
Notes
*Since Autobots can't fly, Strafe probably doesn't transform into a Jet like all the other Strafes do.
