When Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Sari Sumdac arrived in Nexus 208.0 Epsilon, Shockwave arrested Optimus and Sari for being a Prime and having a MacGuffin, respectively, which are forbidden in Axiom Nexus. However, "Joe" was actually Megatron, who was planning to steal the key and use it for his own twisted purposes.

After being defeated by Megatron and his army, helping the others defeat Megatron by telling the army the downsides of Cybertronian life, and giving Sari back her key, Shockwave used his proper authority to return the Malgus trio to their own dimension and swore to never speak of this again! Bee in the City
Shockwave's attention was drawn to three targets of interest that had been drawn to Axiom Nexus. But Alpha Trion, his acolytes, and the two other targets-of-interest had other ideas. They ambushed the Transwarp Complex and quickly and violently made their way into Shockwave's lab. Though Shockwave's preparations for his experiments on Breakaway were not complete, Megatron ordered the scientist into battle. Transcendent: Part 5
Shockwave ended up facing off against the giant Immorticon, and fared very poorly in the match-up. Megatron was able to render assistance by blasting Immorticon into oblivion, but not before Shockwave suffered a great deal of crushing and removal of body parts. Transcendent: Part 6
At some point, Shockwave learned of the Micromaster Beta Maxx and considered him to be the key to unlocking the origins of Primus and Unicron. Beta Maxx (RID)#Toys Ask Vector Prime#Facebook
Shockwave invented a drilling machine that was later used to tap into vast oil reserves in Axiom Nexus’s southern areas. Turns out, the oil was the result of ancient Offworlders dying beneath Cybertron's surface. Rook - Axiom Nexus News: Investigative Journalist
Shockwave's R&D facility was bombed by Cy-Kill two months into the disappearing realities crisis and its tech pilfered. Andromeda - Axiom Nexus News Reporter Ask Vector Prime#Renegade Rhetoric
Director Shockwave appeared with High Chancellor Optimus in a news conference to publicly announce the Shroud and explain its consequences. The Director was able to report that the authorities had briefly regained contact with one of their outposts orbiting Gargent 1084.29 Alpha. Then taking audience questions, Shockwave dodged a question from Rook about the authorities still not knowing the cause of the Shroud just before Vector Prime miraculously returned. Ask Vector Prime
