Some might call Autobot armorer and weapons master '''Crosshairs''' overcautious, while others might call him a huge pain in the [[Anatomic euphemism#skidplate|skidplate]], but Crosshairs knows that he controls a vast armory that could be incredibly dangerous in the wrong hands. Thus, he sees it as his duty to protect it with his impenetrable filing system and his incessant demands for request forms - in triplicate.

Should the need to use this powerful arsenal ever arise, Crosshairs is a stickler when it comes to ''how'' all this weaponry should be used. He demands that ''every single'' unit of ammunition be monitored, dislikes it whenever a shot, blast, or discharge goes to waste, and is quite slow when it comes to combat. As a result of this, however, he's an ''extremely'' skilled and precise marksman, and is capable of fighting the fight longer due to his very conservative ammo consumption.

However, his recent stint as a paratrooper seems to be ebbing away his overcautious streak. These days, he's a quick shot, who hits the ground running and makes mincemeat out of Decepticons before they even know what hit them.

He is sometimes partnered with [[Sergeant Cahnay]].

Many years ago, Crosshairs was a member of [[Optimus Prime (Movie)|Optimus]]'s [[Science Division]] during the reign of Protector [[Megatron (Movie)|Megatron]]. This peaceful existence ended when a [[The Fallen|mysterious relic]] was discovered outside the [[Simfur Temple|temple]] of [[Simfur]], and Megatron changed the military's mission of defending [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] to open conquest. He listened to Optimus's pleas for them to ignore Megatron's demand and stay out of the fighting. {{storylink|Defiance issue 2}}

When the civil war broke out, Crosshairs, like many scientists, joined Optimus ''Prime's'' new faction, the Autobots. He watched from a distance as the Decepticons launched the ''[[Nemesis (ROTF)|Nemesis]]'', and participated in a mission to bring [[Sentinel Prime (ROTF)|Sentinel Prime]]'s "torch" invention to the Simfur Temple. {{storylink|Foundation issue 3|Foundation #3}} At one point during the war, he fought against [[Thundercracker (Movie)|Thundercracker]]. He was present when Optimus Prime revealed his plan to capture the [[AllSpark]], and due to the lack of space on the ''[[Ark (Movie)|Ark]]'', some Autobots would have to stay behind. Crosshairs was getting ready for a raid on the temple at [[Simfur]] when [[Clocker (Movie)|Clocker]] returned with an unexpected guest: [[Arcee (Movie)|Arcee]]. Crosshairs explained the Autobots' situation to her, then invited her along for the attack. {{storylink|The Reign of Starscream issue 4|The Reign of Starscream #4}}

He entered the frame ax-first. That's pretty awesome.

When [[Dreadwing (Movie)|Dreadwing]]'s forces betrayed [[Starscream (Movie)|Starscream]] at Simfur, Crosshairs, Clocker, [[Armorhide (Movie)|Armorhide]] and Arcee created havoc by destroying the [[replica AllSpark]] cube and fighting the rebel Decepticon forces. He decapitated [[Ramjet (Movie)|Ramjet]] when the Decepticon had pinned down Armorhide and was about to deliver the killing stroke. In spider-tank mode, he has a large turret up top with a seat for any Human Alliance figure to sit at behind the main gun. In "mech" mode, he becomes a bipedal suit of armor for the human figure to fit into. His turret cannon can be detached and [[5mm post|used]] as a hand-held rifle, and he has two small double-barreled blasters that can be mounted on his numerous c joint weapon-mounting bars, including two on the rifle itself. :Crosshairs transforms into a C7 corvette stingray alt-mode.It is fairly accurate,though for some reason the right side of the car is missing the stripey deco seen on both sides in the film.Crosshairs is a shellformer-however,this is to pull of the trench coat look.In robot mode,crosshairs is reasonably accurate to his CGI model.The sides and back of the car make up his trenchcoat,and while they dont look completley like the coat as seen in the movie,they bear enough of a resemlance that you'd know what its meant to be.

:Crosshairs revieved slightly mixed to positive reviews from fans.Some felt the trenchcoat was pulled off sucsusfully,others felt it ended up looking like random car parts along his side.

:AoE Galvatron transforms into a 2012 Freightliner Argosy - and not surprisingly, he is a ''complete'' shell-former, with his truck mode folding up solely along his back and calves. As with Evasion Optimus Prime, he has a different paint scheme than seen on his packaging, with less paint applications on his body and weapon. His truck mode is also a darkish grey, rather than the black seen in the movie footage. His cannon can either be held like a gun, or fitted on his hand in a way that appears as if it is coming out of his arm.

:Galvatron's package is the only packaging in the Age of Extinction toyline thus far that neglects to mention what his alternate mode is called. The only mention of Freightliner being involved with his alternate mode is mentioned in the tiny copyright information section of the box.

:Galvatron revived mixed reviews from the fandom.Those who gave the figure a positive review pointed out the detail of the sculpting,the highly detailed truck mode,and the way the truck cab collapses.Those who gave Galvatron a negative review pointed out the lack of paint apps and the fact he is a shell-former.Some thought that the cab collapsing was a clever solution to the robot mode,as it bears little resemblance to the truck on the CGI model.Others felt this was a plainly lazy option and that the robot should have more veichle parts and integration.
