Acid Storm
:Acid Storm is a Decepticon Seeker from the Cyberverse continuity family.

Acid Storm operates under Slipstream, being one of the Seeker captains. Using their ability to manipulate weather to create toxic rains, they spend their time chasing Autobots across the world with their Seeker compadres. Although they are loyal to Megatron, they ultimately would not hesitate to fall behind Starscream, should the chance present itself.
Acid Storm and Nova Storm were among the patrons of Maccadam’s before the Great War. Maccadam's During the conflict, Acid Storm studied under Shockwave. Dark Birth

Some 66 millions years later, Acid Storm was one of the Seekers sent to Earth under Slipstream's command; they were joined by Thrust in an attempt to recover the scout ship that Windblade and Bumblebee had stolen. Windblade was able to take off before they could infiltrate the ship, and a dogfight ensued, with the two Seekers being joined by their commander Slipstream. Acid Storm's assistance in the fight was short-lived, however, as they and Thrust were taken out of the fight when Windblade discovered the ship's armament array, a brace of missiles sending the two subordinate Seekers spiralling down to Earth. Terminal Velocity Slipstream’s squad, Acid Storm included, used Teletraan-X to set a trap for Bumblebee and Windblade, luring them to an abandoned missile silo. Acid Storm and Thrust restrained Bumblebee, and were both incapacitated by Teletraan-X, allowing the two Autobots to escape. The Seekers gave chase through the facility and split up, Acid Storm pursuing Windblade with Slipstream and Thrust. Regrouping, the squad captured Windblade while Bumblebee escaped from the silo, their pursuit cut off. Teletraan-X (episode) Acid Storm and Thundercracker operated the cortical psychic patch when the Seekers attempted to extract information from Windblade’s memories. They questioned Slipstream’s orders to perform a dangerous mind rip on Windblade’s memories, warning of the possibility of burning out Windblade’s brain. They nevertheless complied when Slipstream insisted. When the patch overloaded and triggered an energy pulse, Acid Storm and Thundercracker were knocked out by the wave. Coming to, Acid Storm and Thundercracker attacked the now unrestrained Windblade, and were once again incapacitated. Siloed

After repairing Earth's space bridge, Acid Storm and the other Seekers stood to attention as Shockwave made his grand entrance through the portal. Shockwave brought with him two magnetic disruptors, with which he intended to eradicate all life on Earth. Along with Thrust, Acid Storm accompanied Shockwave to the South Pole only for the ship at the North Pole to be destroyed, halting the scheme. The Extinction Event Following the signal of one of Shockwave's drones, the Decepticons tracked the Autobots to Mount St. Hilary. When they caught up to the Autobots, Acid Storm and Thrust distracted Windblade, allowing Slipstream an opening to shoot down the Autobots' commandeered cargo plane. Awaken Sleeping Giants The Decepticons then stormed the cavern where the Ark had come to rest but failed to destroy the craft. The Decepticons retreated as the Autobots came online, regrouping with the arriving Decepticon fleet. Eruption

After decades of war on Earth, Megatron decided that Earth wasn't worth conquering intact. Relocating to the moon, the Decepticons erected a Planet Buster to destroy the Earth and find the AllSpark in the remains. When the Autobots assaulted the Decepticon base, Acid Storm was shot down by Bumblebee. After Megatron demoted Starscream, Sea of Tranquility the furious Air Commander finally snapped and beat Megatron into unconsciousness, crowning himself as Decepticon leader and ordering the Decepticons to retreat to the Nemesis. When Megatron returned, Acid Storm watched in horror as Megatron beat the living spark out of Starscream for his treachery, before dumping his lifeless corpse on the lunar surface. Bad Moon Rising

Though Slipstream was quick to flex her authority as the new leader of the Seekers, Bring Me The Spark Of Optimus Prime Starscream had survived Megatron's assault, reaching out to his Seekers and ordering them to bring him Vector Sigma. Acid Storm was among the Seekers who defected back to their old commander, bringing the supercomputer to the missile silo, being present when Starscream arrived with the AllSpark. Trials

Using the skills they'd gained studying under Shockwave, Acid Storm was put to work reprogramming Vector Sigma to reprogram the AllSpark. Acid Storm eventually succeeded in reprogramming the supercomputer, causing the AllSpark to give birth to an army of scraplets. Dark Birth Acid Storm watched as Starscream introduced the reborn “ancients”, and pursued the horrified Slipstream as she fled. Starscream led his scraplet army to attack the Nemesis only to be thwarted by Cheetor's AllSpark powers. Parley The Seekers then ambushed Cheetor, hoping to extract his spark only for him and Bumblebee to turn the scraplets' hunger against the Seekers. Spotted

When Jetfire and Sky-Byte arrived on Earth, Starscream saw an opportunity to throw the Autobots and Decepticons off his trail, ordering Acid Storm to focus on their reprogramming of the AllSpark. Infinite Vendetta Acid Storm eventually succeeded in reprogramming Vector Sigma, directing the AllSpark to merge with Starscream. Acid Storm was then among the army of Seekers who had their sparks extracted by Starscream. I Am The Allspark
:Cyberverse Warrior Class Acid Storm is a redeco of Warrior Class Starscream and converts from robot to jet and back. Their Action Attack gimmick is activated by winding up a spring in their waist and releasing the upper part of the figure, allowing it to spin and flip out its spring-loaded wing blades with centrifugal force. The waist can be locked in place by pegging their landing gear onto a peg on their backside. Additionally, they have non-firing Null Ray blasters molded into their forearms with 5 mm post hole hands.

:While their arms have articulation comparable to other Cyberverse Warrior Class toys, Acid Storm has the unusual distinction of having their hip swivels molded together, meaning the front-to-back movement is in tandem. They also lack knees, likely due to their whole legs being cast from the same green plastic. Despite this otherwise restricted movement, they can splay their legs out to the sides due to hinges on their hips, allowing splits and high kicks.

* In-keeping with depictions of the character in other continuities up to this point, Hasbro has generally presented Acid Storm as male; the bio on Hasbro's U.S. website refers to the character with male pronouns, and the toy's package art (seen at right) uses a masculine-styled Seeker head. In the animated series, on the other hand, the character has a feminine voice provided by actress Jaime Lamchick, indicating that they are intended to be female (with other Seeker characters Nova Storm and Skywarp being similarly gender-swapped). However, an apparent case of animation oversight resulted in Acid Storm constantly fluctuating between the show's two distinct "male" and "female" Seeker designs from episode to episode, and even scene to scene. When questioned about this, Cyberverse writer Mae Catt offered an in-universe explanation for the inconsistency, stating that their changing appearance was "just something Acid Storm likes to do," implying the character is genderfluid non-binary. In response to further queries, Catt noted that "pronouns are up to Acid Storm."<ref>{{citesocial|quote=You’re very welcome!
