Parenthetical
Just for my own edification: if I understand the way the Aligned family is being handled, everyone from the games who gets introduced in the cartoon/toyline gets the Prime parenthetical, correct? How does that work with Sludge, then? And I'm guessing Bruticus is at Prime because one of his decos is going to be released in the Prime toyline? Thanks. Magaroja 07:31, 12 June 2012 (EDT)

: Yeah, I'm not sure why this is at (Prime). --ItsWalky 12:05, 12 June 2012 (EDT)

Quoting:
"Sludge is the only member of the Lightning Strike Coalition to appear in Fall of Cybertron in his original, pre-Dinobot body."

Actually, the robot mode model for Sludge is a representation of the artwork that was made available and is featured on this very page, clearly depicting his Dino-head on his back.

I have recently managed to pull the mesh and textures from the game, and details can be visually matched to show that it is indeed his Dinobot mode that is featured in the game. The colors are simply all left in the base colors for meshes (grey tones) instead of having the Unreal engine project the editable colors (like they do on Multiplayer meshes), while he is trussed up on the wall, but otherwise, it is identical.

http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2013/288/d/d/sludge__is__in_the_game__like__completely__by_xsilverboltx-d6qmrmo.jpg

The only texture I haven't located yet is the Autobot shield, which would go right behind his head (it's a blank grey rectangle on the render here), but the fact it's located there, and that there are drawn "eyes" on the sides of that particular piece means that we are indeed looking at the Apatosaurus head.

The mesh is even setup to accept skeletal deformations, implying that at some point, it was playable.

The Transformers of the 19th century must contend with the Elder Gods.

Synopsis
Underwater in the Great Banks by the Flemish Cap in the Atlantic Ocean in 1887, the Seacons lay silent and waiting. They are activated by a race of fish people, who bring the Decepticons to their unearthly city.

A year later, the USS Miskatonic is traveling to Ireland when it is attacked by a tentacled and underwater menace. Ironhide, who has been hidden aboard the ship, jumps into the water, realizing the creature as an alien lifeform, and swims to the other Autobots to warn them.

One week later, in San Francisco, the married Tobias and Kitty Muldoon are walking down a street with their two children when Bumblebee, now with a new trolley mode, approaches them. With the invasion of the Elder Gods, Bumblebee needs Tobias's help again. What he needs is 1,000,000 watts of electricity. Muldoon makes it to Edison Machine Works in Schenectady, New York, a week later, but is refused the absurd amount of electricity by Thomas Edison himself. One of his workers, Nikola Tesla, finds the prospect intriguing and offers his assistance.

Elsewhere, in Port Cenotaph, Nova Scotia, the fish people surface in the thousands. Hidden underwater, Ironhide observes them, but runs into Bonecrusher, who has been pulled into the Elder Gods' servitude. Despite some fight, Ironhide succumbs to Bonecrusher's tentacles.

Two days later, Tesla and Muldoon are on a train in Quebec to Sant Felicien. Tesla finds the train strange, as it has not stopped for fuel and it is absent crew. Tesla finds out the secret when the rail ends in Ivujivik, Ontario, and the components of the train reveal themselves to be the Autobots Trailblazer, Hound, and Ratchet. The Autobots travel in foot while the humans ride in the comforts of Wheeljack's vehicle mode.

In Port Cenotaph, a boat's two-man crew discover that the city's populace has been changed, and that it is haunted by gigantic robots. Tentacles emerge from the water and pull the boat underwater.

On the north slope of the Mare Rurek Glacier, the Autobots and the humans find what they have been seeking—the Autobot leader, Optimus Prime!
To put it in terms even your obviously limited intellect can easily understand: "Highbrow is smarter than you are." No, no, don't allow your comparably plebeian cerebral encumbrance to strain itself beyond endurance in a futile attempt to grasp the intrinsic universal magnitude of Highbrow's innate mental acuity, for it will bear no arboreal reproductive spheres. The ultrascopic trans-infinite sublimity of his diurnal ponderances transcend the circumference of most sentient species' entire thought-spheres, if he does vocalize the notion personally (and you can be certain he will).

The greatest tragedy of his existence is to be clearly so far beyond all those around him, entrapped as they are by their own primitive psyches and abysmal ignorance in a barbaric escalation of pugnacious defenestration and rebuttal. That a paradigmatic mind such as his own should be bound or beholden to a lesser being, especially a rude, primitive swain such as the Nebulan biped Gort is a supreme and vexing irony.
Lured into Scorponok's clutches by Nebulans hypnotised by Mindwipe, Highbrow battled the Horrorcons, but was defeated and also hypnotised. While Highbrow thus suffered from amnesia, the Decepticons attempted to convince him that they were on his side. Gort, however, was unaffected, and when he recombined with Highbrow, the two ripped off Scorponok's head. All in the Minds! He kept the head without telling the other Autobots, knowing he should destroy it and thus end Scorponok for good, but couldn't bring himself to do it. Though this led to the Decepticons coming for their leader's head, Optimus Prime told Highbrow he'd done as an Autobot should. To make matters worse, Highbrow was among the Autobots displaced into Limbo by Rodimus Prime and the Future Autobots. Time Wars

When the Transformers gathered by Primus, Highbrow looked ready to punch out Dreadwind if he'd tell Darkwing one more joke during the exposition. The Void! (US)
Jerk. This caused Highbrow to lose it and perform a full frontal assault on Unicron, who clapped his hands and crushed him. It'd be worse if it happened to someone else. On the Edge of Extinction!
When Grimlock threatened to quit the Autobots, Highbrow cautioned Prime that they were already too short on soldiers to allow this. Instead, Prime seemed all too willing to get rid of Grimlock, and the two of them actually came to blows. After beating some sense into each other, however, Optimus Prime agreed to allow Grimlock his autonomy, to lead "Earthforce" while he and the Arks crew took off for space. Break-Away!
Chomedome is an academic at heart. He only joined the war effort after the Decepticons destroyed Cybertron's Institute for Higher Programming where he did his work. He's tried to use his skills as a programmer to bring an end to the war, but so far has only succeeded in instigating a programming "arms" race. Something of a classic computer programming nerd, he's often a frustration to his cool and very image-conscious Nebulan Headmaster partner, Stylor.

Chromedome was damaged during the battle with the Matrix-powered Thunderwing aboard the Ark at the end of the Matrix Quest. All Fall Down (comic issue) Afterwards, while being repaired by Fixit, he suggested going on a "Leg Quest" instead (since his own had been torn off). Funny, funny guy. Eye of the Storm!

He was last seen fleeing in terror from Unicron. Whatever happened to him, it couldn't have been worse than what happened to Brainstorm, Hardhead, and Highbrow in the ensuing battle. On the Edge of Extinction!
After the Decepticons broke into the Plasma Energy Chamber, unleashing waves of powerful plasma energy, Chromedome was amongst the group of Autobots flung halfway across the galaxy to Nebulos. After a misunderstanding—namely, the Nebulans threatening to detonate magnetic bombs they had attached to the Autobots after their capture—Chromedome willingly became a Headmaster. He presumably joined the rest of the Autobots in celebration after Scorponok was flung into space and a new Golden Age began on Cybertron.

Four million years ago, Chromedome was one of the diminutive Autobot refugees who left Cybertron in search of a new home. They eventually landed of the planet Master, where they managed to create a civilization and live in peace. This peace was eventually disrupted when the Decepticon Sixshot attacked an energon mining facility on the planet, and Chromedome's friend Abel tried to drive him off. Sixshot annihilated Abel and his militia group in front of Chromedome's eyes, and as he cradled his friend's dead body, Chromedome felt hatred towards evil-doers for the first time in his life and vowed vengeance against the Decepticon. Terror! The Six Shadows

As the Transformers on Master invented transtectors, Chromedome proved himself enough to be granted one, becoming one of the planet's elite Headmaster warriors. Fortress Maximus's second-in-command and field commander, he was charged with leading a crack troop of Headmaster soldiers with about one personality between the four of them. Chromedome was notable for often being the guy in charge and being slightly brasher than the rest of this brash lot. Brasher than Armada's Hot Shot. That's pretty darn brash. Brash. He also picked up romancing Arcee when Rodimus was on walkabout for a new planet and Springer was apparently otherwise occupied.

Chromedome had a long history of animosity with Sixshot, dating back to when Sixshot killed his friend Abel before Chromedome became a Headmaster. Things got worse when Sixshot killed Ultra Magnus. The final straw came when Chromedome was forced to shoot his friend Jack after Sixshot planted a bomb in Jack and reprogrammed him to blow up the Battleship Maximus. He was finally challenged to a one-on-one fight to the death with Sixshot, but they were stopped by Daniel Witwicky, who had managed to open up Sixshot to the idea of aiding the Autobots.
Chromedome was the one to send the six Master-Braces to the Autobot Pretenders on Earth. Alongside them he sent a recorded message updating his allies on his battles in space with Decepticon forces, namely those of MegaZarak, who would become BlackZarak. {{storylink|Birth! Chromedome transforms into a Cybertronic sports coupe of vague origin, though it may be based on the Lamborghini Silhouette due to the similar rear styling. Chromedome is equipped with two non-firing laser rifles which can be mounted in both modes (either in the robot-mode fists or on the rear of the vehicle), and a hood-mounted 'infrared red range-finder' which is the socket for Stylor.
* In the television commercial for Marvel Comics' Headmasters limited series, the Autobot and Decepticon Headmasters are shown having different head designs than the ones their Nebulan partners would later turn into. These designs were seemingly never used in any other piece of Transformers media. The models for most of them, however, turned up in the excellent Transformers Generations guidebook.
