Though Ravage was already obsessed with informing everyone about his every mood and action back on Cybertron, Earth's social networks further encouraged this behavior. He quickly joined as many as he could, and sent out "friend" requests to everyone he knew. When Soundwave, [[Heatwave (Timelines)|Heatwave]], Ravage, and [[Frenzy (SG)|Frenzy]] finally located the ''Nemesis''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s crash site, they noticed a team of scientists snooping around. Ravage decided to have fun with two of them, [[Will Hayes|Will]] and [[Rick Ottman|Rick]], by chasing them around playfully, waving at them, quipping at them in {{w|Lolcat|LOLspeak}}, and [[Yatter|text-messaging them]] so they'd notice he was sneaking up behind them. Eventually Soundwave and Heatwave transformed to deal with and calm down the panicked humans. When Frenzy arrived with the other two, [[Henri Arkeville|Professor Arkeville]] and [[Sephie Beller|Sephie]], he told Ravage things would have gone more smoothly if he hadn't acted like, well, himself. Ravage reacted indignantly to the chastisement.

Ravage ended up getting along famously with Sephie, who understood his odd Netspeak and internet obsessions (both of which merely baffled the other [[Decepticon]]s), and happily purred at and snuggled up to her attentions. When the Decepticons made their attack to free [[Burpleson Air Force Base]] from the [[Autobot]]s' control, [[Cliffjumper (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity|Cliffjumper]] paired them together since Sephie was the only one who could "shut [Ravage] up".

The two were among the ones able to sneak into the base while riding in Soundwave, with the help of a cover story from Will and Rick. They then all split up, with Sephie and Ravage heading towards the control room. Before they could get there, however, they ran into [[Wheeljack (SG)|Wheeljack]], who Ravage cheerfully waved at from the middle of the hallway. However, when the crazy inventor started ranting and pounding the walls, he sensibly took off running with Sephie.

They eventually managed to lose Wheeljack, but by that point Heatwave had already managed to talk the base's transmitter into evacuating the base in preparation for destroying it with the [[Global Orbiting Defense Satellite]], so Sephie and Ravage opted for getting out of there themselves. {{storylink|Eye in the Sky}}

When Soundwave was busy trying to find where [[Blitzwing (SG)|Blitzwing]] had run off to, Ravage informed him that someone had posted on their Yatter account that there was a giant robot near their house, enabling Soundwave to arrive just in the nick of time to save the wayward Decepticon from [[Blaster (SG)|Blaster]]. {{storylink|Blitzwing Bop}}

After Sephie augmented herself with Cybertronian tech, and Starscream confined her to base, Soundwave sent Ravage to have a talk to her. Unfortunately by the time Ravage got there, she'd left a note saying she was going to attack the Autobots. {{storylink|Transhuman}}

He tried to wake Steeljaw up for some playtime, but not even a lengthy pouncing session would make the Autobot move. Ravage confessed that Steeljaw was his best friend, which finally got a reaction out of Steeljaw in the form of a threat of bodily harm. {{storylink|Recordicons#Recordicons #1|Recordicons #1}} On Earth, Ravage wandered into a dark alley and encountered the celebrity philanthropist [[Ratbat (SG)|Ratbat]]. As he asked the member of the frivolous elite for an autograph, the pair were surrounded by scary tough guys, and Ravage was knocked out. When he came to, Ratbat was nowhere to be found and the criminals were all tied up for law enforcement to take away. Ravage was startled when his future self stepped through a time warp to tell him not to waste his life on the Internet. He was too busy blogging this happening to take any notice, much to his future self's disgust. His future self tried to salvage the situation by warning Ravage about lending [[Rumble (SG)|Rumble]] any money, but Ravage pointed out he was too late for that as Rumble had had met his end in the [[smelting pool]]. {{storylink|Recordicons#Recordicons #7|Recordicons #7}}

Ravage happened upon [[Laserbeak (SG)|Laserbeak]], who was listening to [[Look At Me I Am Waving (Double Trance Mix)|a song]] he claimed that Ravage probably hadn't heard of. While on a [[Primax 207.0 Epsilon|parallel Earth]], Ravage was tracked down by his [[Ravage (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity|positive universe counterpart]] who intended to end him. When Ravage's request to be allowed to update Yatter was denied, he flew into a rage and attacked the other Ravage. {{storylink|Recordicons#Recordicons #10|Recordicons #10}} He was super happy to meet a [[Blaster (G1)|Blaster]] who wasn't evil and find lots of new Recordicon buddies, though after [[Stripes]] told him that [[Blockrock]] turned into a bomb, he stayed a safe distance from that guy. {{storylink|Recordicons#Recordicons #12|Recordicons #12}}

When Steeljaw pointed out that there must be a positive-universe version of himself, Ravage came to the conclusion that the opposite of his friend Steeljaw would be his enemy. Ravage accidentally fell out of Soundwave while the latter was disguised as a light pylon, giving their position away to a couple of passing Autobots. Ravage was about to press a button when no less than five (possible) future versions of himself appeared to stop him. {{storylink|Recordicons#Recordicons #20|Recordicons #20}} When Laserbeak dismissed his positive universe counterpart as a poser for perching on [[Overlord (Masterforce)|Overlord]], Ravage pointed out that he used to do that to their Megatron. Laserbeak claimed that that was before Megatron sold out and started fighting the war like all the other [[sheepitron]]s, and Ravage had to break it to him that all the sheepitrons had died in a bombing raid. {{storylink|Recordicons#Recordicons #23|Recordicons #23}} Ravage asked Laserbeak what music he liked, earning a speech about the relative merits of the musical art form. {{storylink|Recordicons#Recordicons #25|Recordicons #25}}

Captured by the Autobots, Ravage was stuck in a cage. [[Hound (SG)|Hound]] and [[Mirage (SG)|Mirage]] had a conspicuously helpful conversation about a place they were going to raid for energy before dropping the key near Ravage's cage. Ravage stuck his paw between the bars and took a selfie. {{storylink|Recordicons#Recordicons #28|Recordicons #28}} Ravage was not very good at guard duty, and was easily distracted by a laser pointer so that the Autobots could capture the Decepticons and give them a dip in a smelting pool. {{storylink|Recordicons#Recordicons #29|Recordicons #29}}

At some point in the future, Ravage was upgraded into a new body and went back in time to warn himself about wasting his time on the Internet. {{storylink|Recordicons#Recordicons #7|Recordicons #7}} This version of Ravage also went back a second time to stop him pressing a button. In more possible futures, Ravage turned evil, had a [[space bridge]] accident with Squawktalk, decided being black would be neat, or was reduced to a giant lion head. Ravage was teleported away from his home universe via a trans-dimensional portal. He found himself in a metallic corridor, where he met with [[Ultra Magnus (G1)/2005 IDW continuity|Ultra Magnus]], whom he immediately began to annoy with his "leet-speak". "Thankfully", some auto-cannons then popped up, giving Ultra Magnus a reprieve from Ravage's ridiculous behavior. After making their way through the maze they found themselves in, Ultra Magnus and Ravage met up with the other occupants of the labyrinth, [[Arcee (Animated)|Arcee]], [[Sureshock (Armada)|Sureshock]], [[Sonar (BW)|Sonar]], [[Blades (RB)|Blades]], [[Snarl (G1)|Snarl]], and [[Ironhide (RID)|Ironhide]]. Ravage was overcome with the urge to try and "boop" all of their noses. Then, the group's abductor made his presence known, ordering the lot to fight one another to the death. For the most part, the abductees would have none of it, forcing the [[Skuxxoid]] to come into view, and admit that he didn't have any leverage to make them do what he wanted them to. Snarl got rid of the Skuxxoid post-haste, and everyone devised the perfect solution to send them back home: by laughing together, like characters in a cheesy cartoon do at the end of an episode. Strangely enough, this worked! Ravage then wished everyone a happy 30th anniversary on behalf of the Transformers brand! {{storylink|Prevenge}}

:Tigerhawk transforms into half-robotic, half-technorganic, flying robot tiger-thing. Yes. In [[beast mode]], he is armed with "Hidden wing-tipped missiles", feather projectiles very similar to the Fuzor [[Silverbolt (BW)|Silverbolt]]'s, with spring-loaded switches to flip the wings forward, and flip-out missile launchers which activate when a lever on Tigerhawk's back is pulled (which also moves the wings). Under his beast head is a small cockpit with a pilot's chair (see Notes below).

:Like Transmetal 2 [[Megatron (BW)/toys#TM2|Megatron]], Tigerhawk features a somewhat aborted "third mode", which is just a minor rearrangement of his beast mode parts with his vacuum-metalized helmet (or "Targeting Computer Battle Visor") covering his beast tiger head, making him look rather like Battle Cat from ''He-Man''.

:In [[robot mode]], Tigerhawk has a decent level of articulation, though his elbow joints are designed in such a way as to be not particularly useful. Due to his heels being vacuum-metalized, they are especially susceptible to scratching, as owners are likely to reposition them frequently to cope better with the heavy wings and gimmicks on his back.

:Judging from his packaging art, it seems that along with [[Optimus Minor]], [[Sonar (BW)|Sonar]], and [[Scarem]], Tigerhawk was amongst the few Transmetals 2 that was intended to have the strange feature of having access to multiple limbs in robot mode... In this case, a second pair of arms formed by his rear beast mode legs. A back-of-the-box graph for Tigerhawk gives technical designations to some of his robot mode parts. In addition to the already-mentioned "hidden wing-tip missiles" and "targeting computer battle visor," they include "Blast-open thunder torpedoes," "Ion-charged talons," "Accelerator beam-turret cannon" and "Multi-stage deployment wings."

In attack mode, he is armed with "feather" missiles very similar to the Fuzor [[Silverbolt (BW)|Silverbolt]]'s, with spring-loaded switches to flip the wings forward, and flip-out missile launchers which activate when a lever on Razorclaw's back is pulled (which also moves the wings). A bird helmet that is usually hidden mostly behind the tiger head is deployed in this mode. (The normal beast mode points these missiles backwards and uses the normal tiger head.) Eventually Soundwave and Heatwave transformed to deal with and calm down the panicked humans. When Frenzy arrived with the other two, [[Henri Arkeville|Professor Arkeville]] and [[Sephie Beller|Sephie]], he told Ravage things would have gone more smoothly if he hadn't acted like, well, himself. Ravage reacted indignantly to the chastisement.

Ravage ended up getting along famously with Sephie, who understood his odd Netspeak and internet obsessions (both of which merely baffled the other [[Decepticon]]s), and happily purred at and snuggled up to her attentions. When the Decepticons made their attack to free [[Burpleson Air Force Base]] from the [[Autobot]]s' control, [[Cliffjumper (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity|Cliffjumper]] paired them together since Sephie was the only one who could "shut [Ravage] up".

The two were among the ones able to sneak into the base while riding in Soundwave, with the help of a cover story from Will and Rick. They then all split up, with Sephie and Ravage heading towards the control room. Before they could get there, however, they ran into [[Wheeljack (SG)|Wheeljack]], who Ravage cheerfully waved at from the middle of the hallway. However, when the crazy inventor started ranting and pounding the walls, he sensibly took off running with Sephie.

They eventually managed to lose Wheeljack, but by that point Heatwave had already managed to talk the base's transmitter into evacuating the base in preparation for destroying it with the [[Global Orbiting Defense Satellite]], so Sephie and Ravage opted for getting out of there themselves. {{storylink|Eye in the Sky}}

When Steeljaw pointed out that there must be a positive-universe version of himself, Ravage came to the conclusion that the opposite of his friend Steeljaw would be his enemy. Ravage was teleported away from his home universe via a trans-dimensional portal. He found himself in a metallic corridor, where he met with [[Ultra Magnus (G1)/2005 IDW continuity|Ultra Magnus]], whom he immediately began to annoy with his "leet-speak". "Thankfully", some auto-cannons then popped up, giving Ultra Magnus a reprieve from Ravage's ridiculous behavior. After making their way through the maze they found themselves in, Ultra Magnus and Ravage met up with the other occupants of the labyrinth, [[Arcee (Animated)|Arcee]], [[Sureshock (Armada)|Sureshock]], [[Sonar (BW)|Sonar]], [[Blades (RB)|Blades]], [[Snarl (G1)|Snarl]], and [[Ironhide (RID)|Ironhide]]. Ravage was overcome with the urge to try and "boop" all of their noses. Then, the group's abductor made his presence known, ordering the lot to fight one another to the death. For the most part, the abductees would have none of it, forcing the [[Skuxxoid]] to come into view, and admit that he didn't have any leverage to make them do what he wanted them to. Snarl got rid of the Skuxxoid post-haste, and everyone devised the perfect solution to send them back home: by laughing together, like characters in a cheesy cartoon do at the end of an episode. [[Alpha Trion (WFC)|Alpha Trion]] wrote that, at first, the Rust Plague seemed almost trivial compared to warnings that [[Energon]] was running low due to supplying Cybertronian colonies and the worrying news that the [[Well of All Sparks]] was generating new life at a mere tenth of its former output.

Then came the news of a deep space transport that had been affected by a terrible disease that corroded any metal it came in touch with, including Transformers. Worse, this mysterious disease was incredibly virulent, spreading across entire worlds with terrifying swiftness. Alpha Trion called it the Rust Plague, as all that was left in its wake was rusting ruin. To the horror of the Transformers, who'd begun to think themselves a powerful race on the rise, the [[Space bridge|Space Bridge]]s that connected their colonies helped the disease's spread.

Attempts to find a cure came to naught, as not only were any medical personnel killed quickly by the Plague, but medical facilities themselves rusted away and became useless. Cybertron was soon bombarded with cries for help and relief, angry claims that Cybertron had abandoned them and desperately hopeful assurances that a cure would be found.

The Council, led by [[Sentinel Zeta Prime|Sentinel Prime]] even viewed a recording made by an investigator, who calmly walked them through an affected ship and pointing out the extent of the decay. He pointed them out to lumps of rust that he believed were once the crew, before presenting the corpse of his partner, who had been hale and hearty only a few hours ago when they'd boarded. Now, his partner's body rotted, his Spark chamber empty, his remains disintegrating at the slightest touch. The investigator then turned the camera on himself to show he had been infected as well and was doomed to die. He grimly advised the Council that any ship even suspected of being infected should be completely obliterated, and even then that might not be enough to stop the spread.

Sentinel Prime came to the heartbreaking conclusion that the only way to stop the Rust Plague before it hit Cybertron itself was to destroy the Space Bridges. Simply shutting them down wasn't an option, as it was not impossible that desperate souls might reactivate them in an attempt to flee, only to continue spreading the Plague. The Prime gave orders to all colonies and to all Space Bridge operators to self-destruct the Space Bridges. Any attempt to bring anyone through would be an act of treason punishable by death. [[Prowl (WFC)|Prowl]] was one of the operators, and fruitlessly tried to get his friend [[Bluestreak (Prime)|Bluestreak]] to return home before going through with his orders.

The plan worked, and after a long period of vigilance Alpha Trion concluded that the Rust Plague had been stopped from reaching Cybertron. However, the price was terrible. All contact with the colonies were lost, and the Cybertronian population was a mere fraction of that of the [[Golden Age]]. Worse, he observed that the experience had seemed to drain the life out of virtually all the surviving Cybertronians, noting that in Sentinel's case, it was as though the Rust Plague had affected his Spark rather than his body, robbing him of much of his former fire. The Plague of Rust was a concern within the Cybertronians' sphere of influence in the early stages of the [[Great War (Cyberverse)|Great War]], although it was believed to be contained in the outer territories. Unfortunately, some bots were able to transit the [[space bridge]] while infected, unleashing the plague on the main city of [[Velocitron]] and infecting the racing world's track maintenance drones to spread it further, a fact discovered by native [[Blurr (Cyberverse)|Blurr]] and the visiting [[Hot Rod (Cyberverse)|Hot Rod]] and [[Bumblebee (Cyberverse)|Bumblebee]] as it destroyed the main hub city and slaughtered the Velocitronian population. Damaged by the crash that stranded him and his [[Decepticon]] prisoners on [[Earth]], Fixit's developed a few glitches, mostly an unfortunate tendency to get words wrong. Occasionally he'll even lock himself in a verbal loop... but it's nothing that a little percussive maintenance can't temporarily fix. He’s a bit of a motor-mouth, a bit gullible, and sometimes gets a little carried away in his need to be useful, but it’s hard not to like someone who's just so eager to help out.

Luckily, his scatterbrained nature hasn't affected his technical skills ''too'' much. His arms contain a multitude of tools, plus he can transform into a larger repair omni-tool, allowing him to tackle just about any repair job the [[Autobot]]s might need. He spends most of his time at the [[Autobot]]s' [[Vintage Salvage Depot for the Discriminating Nostalgist|scrapyard base]], where he maintains and repairs the Cybertronian technology salvaged from the wreck of his old ship. The Autobots encountered [[Underbite]], and ended up having a fight in the wreck of the ''Alchemor'' while Fixit tried to take cover with [[Russell Clay|Russell]]. He got his chance when [[Chop Shop (RID)|Chop Shop]] attempted to steal liquid oxygen from a manufacturing plant, accompanying Denny while disguised as a [[human]] as they searched the plant for the Decepticon. Unfortunately Fixit found himself captured by Chop Shop and forced to act as the combiner's right arm, and to his alarm, he was used to batter his own friends. Fixit undermined the sobriety of Bumblebee's presentation of stasis pod locations by pointing out they resembled [[Megatron (WFC)|Megatron]]. After Grimlock turned on the others and demolished them, including Fixit, Russell and Fixit discovered that Grimlock was being controlled by the [[cyber-tick]] [[Minitron]]. After a trip to scavenge energon with Bumblebee and Denny, Fixit joined the team as they hunted for a Decepticon in a nearby cave. The team, including the terrified Mini-Con, were captured by [[Nightstrike]], who caused them to live out their worst fears — Fixit's was being on the junk heap — so he could feed on their energon. {{storylink|Even Robots Have Nightmares}} During a mission in the subways, Sideswipe's head was detached from his body by [[Vertebreak (RID)|Vertebreak]], and Fixit got the job of reading Vertebreak's notes so he could reattach Sideswipe's head. After a major malfunction left Fixit stationary and repeating the word "escape", the other Autobots insisted he get repairs. Fixit asked Denny to perform a diagnostic, however Fixit's original guard programming reactivated during the procedure. The more robotic guard Fixit revealed a plethora of weapon systems and began hunting down the Autobots, mistaking them for escaped prisoners. The escape of Chop Shop turned his attention from his friends long enough for Denny to deactivate him and restore him to his regular self. {{storylink|The Trouble with Fixit}}

Fixit picked up a Decepticon signal from outside the scrapyard, which belonged to [[Kickback (RID)|Kickback]]. Unfortunately, Kickback was bait for the other Autobots, and while the other Autobots were out Steeljaw and his gang broke into the scrapyard, intending to free their Decepticon brethren. Pressganged into following Steeljaw's orders, Fixit managed to stall long enough for the Clays to rig up a distraction. Although he was eventually forced to deactivate the stasis pods, the Autobots managed to retake their base and reactivate the stasis pods before any more Decepticons could escape. {{storylink|Lockout}}

Fixit tried to help Russel spy on Denny's attempt to build a new trailer for his son. He later called up information on the Decepticon thug [[Scowl (RID)|Scowl]] to assure Grimlock that Scowl had no intention of changing his ways. After Fixit and the Clays worked together to finish off the new trailer, they all celebrated by boogieing down to some disco music. {{storylink|Similarly Different}} The Autobots met [[Windblade (RID)|Windblade]], another Autobot on a mission of her own. She won over Fixit by complimenting his knowledge and technical expertise, and helped him to pinpoint a concealed Decepticon signal. When the other Autobots set out to recapture [[Zizza]], Fixit recounted Zizza's rap sheet, and helped to redirect air traffic away from the fight. {{storylink|The Buzz on Windblade}}

After the Autobots decided to take a vacation of their own, Fixit helped by GroundBridging them to a random location on Earth. This turned out to be an active volcano, which wasn't as pleasant as he had hoped. Fixit tried again and sent them to scenic [[Edmondville]]. He later helped fill them in on [[Pseudo]], who was also hiding out in the town, and opened a GroundBridge home after Pseudo had been captured. {{Storylink|Ghosts and Impostors}}

When Strongarm and Sideswipe were kidnapped by Decepticons, Fixit managed to pinpoint the Decepticon's base. While the Autobots were out, Fracture and his Mini-Cons broke into the base and cornered Fixit and the Clays. Fixit engaged in playing Go Fish with Denny. After detecting a Decepticon in the Arctic, Fixit had to deal with the fallout from a GroundBridge explosion and Grimlock's attempts to help, then ended up running for cover when [[Overload (RID)|Overload]] attacked the scrapyard. {{storylink|Overloaded, Part 1}} On request, he looked up [[Polarclaw]] for Optimus when the away team encountered the Decepticon in the [[Arctic]]. {{storylink|Overloaded, Part 2}}

After detecting a new Decepticon, Fixit was perturbed by the fact the newcomer wasn't in the ''Alchemor'' databanks, and more so when he was able to connect to a Cybertronian database and confirm that [[Saberhorn]] was definitely an ''Alchemor'' prisoner. {{storylink|Metal Meltdown}} When Strongarm became demoralized following some mishaps during a Decepticon hunt, Fixit attempted to cheer her up by creating a console so she could use the ''Alchemor''<nowiki>'s</nowiki> systems to help out, but this resulted in her accidentally triggering the base's security system. Fixit attempted to help Grimlock better himself by downloading a study guide from a [[Cybertronian data cylinder]] into his brain, however a mishap resulted in Grimlock becoming a super genius with a limited life span. Fixit was eventually able to come up with a solution, though he had to rush out into the field while the other Autobots were dealing with Decepticon savant [[Simacore]]. After Grimlock had been returned to normal intelligence, he was no longer in danger of shutting down, though he was left temporarily paralyzed. In order to stall for time, Grimlock challenged Simacore to a battle of wits, relying on Fixit to provide him with the smarts needed to win. Unfortunately, Fixit buckled under the pressure, and wasn't able to help Grimlock at all. But Grimlock recovered completely before Simacore got wise to their ruse, and the Decepticon was soundly thrashed and captured. {{storylink|Brainpower}} When a wounded Steeljaw turned up in the Autobots' doorstep, it turned out that the Con had been feigning. He captured Fixit, Denny and Russell in a subsonic forcefield and freed many of the prisoners, however Strongarm rescued the trio. {{storylink|Misdirection}}

Fixit helped as the Autobots tried to track down the new group of Decepticons operating in the area. He was able to determine that the Cons would be after a sound board, leading Bumblebee and Russell to stake out a [[Rear Axle]] concert. The other Autobots, not sharing Bumblebee's enthusiasm for the band, stayed behind at the base. Fixit was entreated to seeing Grimlock practicing his "sculpting." When Fixit commented that Grimlock was simply smashing big rocks into smaller rocks, the Dinobot grumbled to himself that some people had no appreciation for the arts. {{storylink|Bumblebee's Night Off}} When Grimlock was banned from field missions due to being too hard to conceal, Fixit produced a list of potential disguises and ended up disguising Grimlock as a crane. Though the disguise seemed flimsy at first, Fixit announced to nearby motorists that Grimlock was a "Dino Crane," designed to help build schools, since "kids love dinosaurs." The humans bought the story, and the pair caught up to Bumblebee, already out on a mission. They helped their commander in taking down Quillfire and his new Mini-Con partners, [[Back]] and [[Forth]], making good use of the hook incorporated in Grimlock's disguise to do so. When Bumblebee approved Grimlock's disguise for subsequent missions, Fixit was overjoyed and congratulated himself on his "genius." {{storylink|Impounded}}

Fixit finally completed repairs on the GroundBridge, only for a malfunction to accidentally let [[Soundwave (WFC)|Soundwave]] out of the [[shadowzone (dimension)|shadowzone]]. The Decepticon swiftly sent Bumblebee to the other dimension, and warped Strongarm and Grimlock away from the base, allowing him free range to complete his own scheme. But Fixit was still able to communicate with Bumblebee through his communicator, and he, Denny, and Russell made an abortive attempt to stop Soundwave building a long-range transmitter. Though this first attempt at defeating the Decepticon ended in failure, it inspired Bumblebee to concoct a plan of his own. Using their commander's stratagem, Fixit and the humans managed to regain control of the GroundBridge. Fixit successfully created a portal back to the shadowzone so Bumblebee could escape and Soundwave could be sent back. {{storylink|Portals}}

When the stealth team came to blows against [[Stockade (RID)|Stockade]] and his Mini-Con army, Optimus contacted Fixit to get reinforcements from the rest of Bumblebee's team. Though he was unable to contact Bumblebee for Optimus Prime, Fixit was able to assist the Autobot leader by looking up Stockade in his database. Fixit was present when the Bee Team reunited with [[Ratchet (WFC)|Ratchet]], who had come to Earth in pursuit of a Decepticon. Shortly afterwards, another ''Alchemor'' Mini-Con named [[Toolbox]] arrived. His memories jogged by the presence of his old shipmate, Fixit realized that there had been more to the ''Alchemor'' than the section he had been assigned to. Fixit gave him a tune-up and helped to deactivate the [[inhibitor collar]] that had been affixed to the Mini-Con. Fixit stayed behind as backup when the team took to the water to assault "Decepticon Island" - the back half of the ''Alchemor'', which had been overrun by Decepticon escapees. {{storylink|Decepticon Island (Part 1)}} Feeling guilty about having to stay behind, Fixit commandeered a boat and headed off to the wreck himself. Fixit arrived just in time to save one of his comrades from being brutalized by a [[Vehicon (Prime)|Vehicon]]. Elsewhere on the ship, Strongarm and Sideswipe managed to deactivate the Mini-Con's collars en masse, and Fixit wound up leading the charge against their Decepticon tormentors. Acting on a distress call from Toolbox, Fixit and his new army stormed the ventilation room, just in time to provide Optimus and Bumblebee with some much-needed firepower against a supercharged Steeljaw. Bumblebee retrieved the Decepticon Hunters which had powered-up the Decepticon, and the Mini-Cons allowed themselves to be towed to safety as Optimus and Bumblebee made their escape from a [[cryo-gas]] bomb they had set up.

With all of the Decepticons in stasis thanks to being within the bomb's detonation range, the crisis on Earth had come to an end. The rest of the Mini-Cons decided to finish the repairs on their ship and return to Cybertron. Fixit indulged Bumblebee's desire to take his team on a tour of historically significant sites on Earth. When during their visit to [[Autobot Outpost Omega One]], the team stumbled on a bomb, they asked Fixit to look up how to disarm it, however in the end they lost comms with him and had to improvise. {{storylink|History Lessons}} Fixit prepared [[PASERQuAT]] scores for everyone, resulting in Strongarm insisting on taking him along with her on her next mission so she could improve her score. The pair encountered [[Scatterspike]] and [[Sawtooth (RID)|Sawtooth]] at [[Mount St. Hilary]], engaged in a drilling operation that threatened to cause the volcano to erupt, and when Fixit and Sawtooth became trapped in the main cavern, Fixit had to instruct Strongarm on preventing the eruption. He later raised Strongarm's score by a point and half, and in return she prepared a score for him, but (to his great distress) wouldn't tell him what it was. {{storylink|Strongarm's Big Score}} Fixit had the rest of the team report in as they searched more sites of Cybertronian significance. {{storylink|Pretzel Logic}}

Following a mishap with a [[high energy pulse generator]], Fixit, Jetstorm and Slipstream were the butt of yet another of Sideswipe's jokes, leaving them mad at him. After the scrapyard was temporarily invaded by the Weaponizer Mini-Cons, the trio were abducted by [[Starscream (WFC)|Starscream]], and used as leverage to also capture Bumblebee. {{storylink|Mighty Big Trouble}} The three Mini-Cons were imprisoned aboard [[Starscream's ship]], and set about trying to escape. Fixit had the idea of getting Jetstorm out via a vent in the roof. {{storylink|Mini-Con Madness (RID)|Mini-Con Madness}} Jetstorm later returned to free Fixit and Slipstream, and the trio rescued Bumblebee. After Starscream merged with the Weaponizer Mini-Cons, Fixit was able to use a signal to force a separation. Fixit later forgave Sideswipe for his earlier comments, and upgraded the [[Weaponizers' ship]] to be capable of spaceflight. Fixit picked up reports suggesting a Decepticon was on the loose, though he couldn't detect a signal. On Bumblebee's orders, he GroundBridged Strongarm and Sideswipe to investigate, and later sent the rest of the team to join them when the Decepticon proved more than they could handle. {{storylink|King of the Hill (Part 1)}} Fixit became addicted to Russell's handheld game, refusing to give it back, and continuing to play it while sending the rest of the team on another mission. He attempted and failed to cheat at the game, and eventually it broke when he dropped it during the team's return. {{storylink|Defrosted}} As the team tried to stop a stricken plane from crashing into one of Windblade's caches, Fixit kept them updated on the state of the pilot and was able to fill them in on the Decepticon, [[Ragebyte]], who was the sole occupant of the cache. {{storylink|Blurred}}

Along wit the rest of the team, Fixit found himself drawn to desire the [[Sphere of Doradus]], though once the rest of the team drove off with it, the effect faded and he was able to come up with some more information on the relic for them. {{storylink|Sphere of Influence}} Though unable to find the parts to build Bumblebee a new Decepticon Hunter, Fixit managed to determine the location of one of Windblade's caches in [[West Rock]] which contained one. He had trouble tracking [[Dragstrip (WFC)|Drag Strip]] and [[Wildbreak]] due to the intense interference in the city. {{storylink|Bee Cool}}

After the rest of the Bee Team were again merge into a giant robot, Fixit worked on determining what had happened, and came up with a way to merge Sideswipe back into one bot. {{storylink|The Great Divide}} When he heard Strongarm missed the Academy, Fixit attempted to help by getting her to select a specialty, leading her to use her detective skills to solve a series of Decepticon thefts. {{storylink|Get a Clue}}

Another experiment with combining resulted in Fixit combining Sideswipe and Grimlock, though [[Sidelock|the results]] were less than desirable. He was able to track Jetstorm and Slipstream after the pair were abducted by [[Shadow Raker]]. {{storylink|Out of the Shadows}} Fixit continued his experiments, but only succeeded in body-swapping the entire team. A mission involving a maglev train required Fixit to perform the tricky task of GroundBridging the team onto a moving target. {{storylink|Railroad Rage}} With Bumblebee frustrated at the lack of progress, Fixit stepped up his work in figuring out the combiner process. With the help of Denny in overcoming the loss of his [[plasmodic capacitor]], Fixit was able to complete some equipment to help the Autobots combined, though after a successful field test, it turned out the equipment hadn't been plugged in. {{storylink|Combine and Conquer}} During a mission to the moon, Fixit assisted Optimus Prime in disabling a weapons satellite that had been nudged out of orbit by an impromptu space battle between the Autobots and Stunticons. The pair rejoined the rest of the team to find the Stunticons had been defeated for good. {{storylink|Moon Breaker}}

An assault on the scrapyard drove the Autobots from their home and forced them to seek refuge in the nearby cave system. Fixit took a [[Cybertronian technology finder|tech detector]] with him which he was able to use to point the rest of the team in the direction of the Decepticons at [[Crown River Dam]]. {{storylink|Exiles}} Separated from his technology, Fixit only retained his sanity by imagining that all of his equipment was in the cave. Bumblebee took the Mini-con with him to scout for other potential bases, and when 'Bee was captured by Steeljaw's pack, Fixit followed discretely and was able to use his skills to infiltrate the enemy camp and help free 'Bee, Strongarm and Sideswipe. {{storylink|Breathing Room}} While the other Autobots were out on a mission, Fixit was discovered by an alien-hunting [[hermit]], forcing Denny and Russell to come up with a cover story. {{storylink|Prepare for Departure}} Fixit later sent the Autobots off on a mission to stop Steeljaw's pack at the nuclear plant, and when the group was captured, had to rig up impromptu cells to hold them. {{storylink|Prisoner Principles}}

With the 'Con teleporting randomly, Fixit rigged up the rest of the GroundBridge to teleport Underbite back and disabled the field generator using an electromagnet. {{storylink|Something He Ate}} After an attack by [[Wingcode]] left Bumblebee, Strongarm and Sideswipe in a slowly deteriorating state, Fixit was only able to create a cure once Grimlock and [[Bulkhead (Prime)|Bulkhead]] captured the Decepticon. {{storylink|Sick as a Bot}}

Fixit, along with the rest of the team, were arrested by [[Dropforge]]. After it turned out the lawbot was under mind control, Fixit was successful in inoculating him and his men from any further control. {{storylink|Five Fugitives}} A visit from Optimus Prime resulted in Fixit piloting [[Prime Force One]] to Cybertron to confront the Autobot council. While the others went to hunt the Decepticon, he started on a six-hour full-spectrum diagnostic of the computer systems. {{storylink|Fire, When Ready!}} Fixit played as a Decepticon for a training exercise, using his trusty [[My First Blaster]], and the other Autobots' lack of co-ordination resulted in him winning. Fixit was able to engineer a traffic jam so that the Decepticon [[Transit (RID)|Transit]] could be captured. When [[Windblade (RID)|Windblade]] flew over the steel mill hideout, Underbite was able to bring her down with a precisely thrown beam, adding her to their collection of hostages. The Decepticons were soon busy at work constructing the gateway Steeljaw's ally required, however when Bumbblebee and Drift arrived, Steeljaw assigned Underbite and Thunderhoof to intercept them. Underbite swiftly dealt with Drift, allowing Megatronus to arrive on Earth. He and the other Decepticons were rendered unconscious when [[Optimus Prime (WFC)|Optimus Prime]] tried to interfere with the arrival. {{storylink|Battlegrounds, Part 1}} They came around in time to prevent the Autobots getting hold of Megatronus's staff, however when Megatronus turned on Steeljaw, Underbite, Thunderhoof and Clampdown attempted to flee. Millions of years ago, the civil war on [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] reached a bloody stalemate as both [[Autobot]]s and [[Decepticon]]s augmented their forces with a race of small power-enhancing Transformers known as the [[Mini-Con]]s. Realising that they were only making the conflict worse, the Mini-Cons made a pact with the Autobots to leave the planet in a [[Exodus (Armada)|starship]], {{storylink|Prehistory}} but Megatron struck as the tiny 'bots were leaving, attacking with the full force of the Decepticon fleet in an attempt to capture all the Mini-Cons in one fell swoop. In the year 2010, Megatron led a small team of his Decepticons to Earth when a signal beacon from the planet reached Cybertron, alerting the Transformers to the reawakening of the Mini-Cons. Megatron was first on the scene, warping directly to the signal's point of origin, where he discovered that one of the Mini-Cons, [[High Wire (Armada)|High Wire]], had befriended three human children. Before Megatron could seize the Mini-Con for his own, his arch-enemy [[Optimus Prime (Armada)/Cartoon continuity|Optimus Prime]] appeared to stop him. {{storylink|First Encounter}} Megatron and Optimus battled, with the rest of their troops arriving to join the fight, but eventually, the Decepticon leader called for a strategic retreat. When a Mini-Con was detected in the [[Grand Canyon]], Megatron and the Decepticons made a play for it, though Megatron ordered Starscream to stay behind (lest he acquire the Mini-Con for himself and challenge Megatron for leadership). Starscream came along anyways, and both he and Megatron were overpowered by [[Perceptor (Armada)|Perceptor]], costing them the Mini-Con. {{storylink|Comrade}} After sending his troops to recover the next Mini-Con while he stayed in their moonbase, only to have them meet with failure, {{storylink|Soldier (episode)|Soldier}} Megatron accompanied his men again on the next hunt, intending to take this Mini-Con for himself so Starscream would still be without one. Megatron next attempted to strike at the Autobots through their human friends, arranging for their capture so that he could ransom them for the Autobots' Mini-Cons. Immediately reneging on the deal once the Mini-Cons were in his clutches, Megatron ordered Leader-1 to destroy the children, but when the Mini-Con hesitated in response to [[Fred (Armada)|Fred]]'s pleas, Megatron was distracted long enough for the Autobots to turn the tables and send him packing. {{storylink|Confrontation (episode)|Confrontation}} This moment of hesitation did not break Megatron's trust in his little minion, though, as soon after, he had Leader-1 search a human sewer system when his own large tank mode made manoeuvring beneath the city streets too difficult. {{storylink|Underground (episode)|Underground}} Later still, while searching for a Mini-Con in the ruins of an underwater civilization, Leader-1 unlocked Megatron's "Full Blast Mode" for the first time, and then found the Mini-Con panel while his master was busy battling Optimus Prime. {{storylink|Ruin}}

The Mini-Con recovered from the ruins by Leader-1 initially refused to awaken from its panel, but following another failed hunt on a volcanic island, Megatron redoubled his efforts, and successfully roused [[Sonar (Armada)|Sonar]] from his slumber. {{storylink|Prehistory}} Realizing that Sonar was one of the three Mini-Cons who together formed the legendary [[Star Saber (Armada)|Star Saber]] sword, Megatron led his Decepticons in an invasion of the Autobot base to steal the other two, personally facing down Hot Shot and Optimus Prime at the same time. Sonar awakened his team-mates and they formed the Star Saber in Megatron's hands, but no sooner was the sword complete than Optimus Prime blasted it from Megatron's grip. Sword still in hand, Megatron led the Decepticon effort to obtain the final Mini-Con that formed the Skyboom Shield, succeeding despite the presence of the newest Autobot [[Blurr (Armada)|Blurr]]. {{storylink|Reinforcement}} With both Star Saber and Skyboom now his, Megatron challenged Optimus Prime to a decisive battle in the desert. The combat was fierce, but finally, Prime was able to wrest the shield from Megatron's grasp, and when the two weapons collided, and incredible burst of energy was released that shot off into space. {{storylink|Decisive Battle}} Despite this failure, Megatron was quick to orchestrate another confrontation with Prime, this time separating him from the other Autobots by randomly warping each of the heroes to different sites of past battles. Facing off against Prime in the Sahara again, Megatron employed a legion of Mini-Cons to attack the Autobot leader, correctly gambling that he would not fight back against the small 'bots. What he did not expect, however, was that Prime's reluctance to fight would prompt the Mini-Cons to turn on ''him'', keeping him occupied until the other Autobots arrived, forcing him to withdraw. {{storylink|Vow}}

Convinced that Megatron's flawed leadership was the reason behind the recent string of Decepticon failures, Sideways decided to play Megatron and Starscream off against one another in order to change the game. When the Decepticons returned after another failed battle, Megatron began brutalizing Starscream for his failings (despite the fact that Starscream had been following his orders), and might have even killed him if Demolishor had not intervened. Taking this as his cue, Sideways began to plant notions of leadership in Starscream's head, while challenging Megatron's pride with the allegation that his position as commander was only secure thanks to possession of the Star Saber. Sideways's machinations culminated in Starscream challenging Megatron to a duel for leadership, with a nonchalant Megatron so certain of his victory that he even wagered the Star Saber on the fight's outcome. Unfortunately for Starscream, Megatron's prognostication proved accurate, and he violently and resoundingly defeated his lieutenant with his bare hands, not even deigning to use the Saber. At the last moment, Megatron spared Starscream's life, preferring instead to let him live with the knowledge that he knew his weaknesses: he had a conscience. His position as leader reaffirmed by the outcome of the clash, Megatron led the Decepticons into battle against the Autobots soon after with renewed vigor and morale. {{storylink|Rebellion (Armada)|Rebellion}}

With most dastardly thing he managed to accomplish in his next few battles consisting of stepping on [[Laserbeak (Armada)|Laserbeak]] when he fell out of the sky, {{storylink|Chase (episode)|Chase}} Megatron was soon to summon the master Decepticon tactician [[Thrust (Armada)|Thrust]] to Earth in an effort give his campaign a shot in the arm. The plan Thrust concocted gave Megatron a clear shot at Optimus Prime that would have succeeded in taking the Autobot leader's life, if not for the sudden arrival of [[Jetfire (Armada)|Jetfire]] on Earth. {{storylink|Tactician}} Prime did not escape unscathed, however, and Megatron and Thrust took the opportunity to lure the remaining Autobots into a trap to make a play for the Skyboom Shield. Megatron was in the process of trying to wrestle the shield away from Smokescreen when Optimus appeared and revealed his power to combine with Jetfire, forcing the Decepticons to flee before his power. {{storylink|Linkup}} Soon after, Thrust implicated Sideways as the disruptive element that was prevent the Decepticons from working together as best they could, and Megatron tracked the mysterious 'bot down, catching him in the act of reporting his misdeeds to an unknown higher power. Megatron was not initially impressed with the newest addition to the Decepticon ranks, [[Tidal Wave (Armada)|Tidal Wave]], {{storylink|Awakening (Armada)|Awakening}} but soon changed his tune when the monolithic Decepticon revealed he had the power to combine with Megatron, giving the Decepticon leader a dramatic power boost. Battling with the combined Prime and Jetfire in the sky, the powered-up Megatron slashed the merged Autobots apart with the Star Saber, sending Prime into a potentially fatal plummet, only for him to be saved by the newly awakened Mini-Cons that formed the third and final weapon, the [[Requiem Blaster (Armada)|Requiem Blaster]]. {{storylink|Desperate}} While he was being repaired, Megatron tasked Thrust with retrieving the Space Mini-Con Team for him. He failed. {{storylink|Runaway}} Megatron then crossed paths with Wheeljack as the ex-Autobot was enacting his revenge against Hot Shot. Megatron added him to his forces {{storylink|Past II}} and led a second attack on the Autobot base to steal the Requiem Blaster, successfully obtaining the weapon and shooting Smokescreen with it. Unfortunately, part of the plan to access the Autobot base involved using an unwitting Starscream as a distraction, {{storylink|Sacrifice}} and that betrayal of trust proved to be the last straw for the young Decepticon, leading him to make an attempt on Megatron's life. Using information provided by Starscream, the Autobots soon invaded the Decepticon base to free the captive Mini-Cons. Leaving his troops to fight, Megatron relocated himself to watch over the Mini-Cons personally, who by this stage he had put to work constructing a spacecraft for the Decepticons. When [[Perceptor (Armada)|Perceptor]] arrived to bravely face him down, the Mini-Cons began to sing an eerie harmony and turned on Megatron, with even Leader-1 attempting to escape his perch on Megatron's arm. Fortunately, Hot Shot intervened before Megatron could obliterate the Mini-Cons, leading him a merry chase across the moon while the other Autobots got the little 'bots to safety and double-teaming with Starscream to take the Decepticon commander down. {{storylink|Rescue}} Infuriated by this loss, Megatron found new hope in Thrust's latest discovery: as had been previously evinced by the meeting of the Star Saber and Skyboom, the uniting of the Requiem Blaster with the other two weapons could potentially produce incredibly destructive energy. To test this hypothetical, Megatron took the Requiem Blaster to confront Jetfire and Starscream, wielding the Skyboom and Saber at the time, when they were attempting to recover a Mini-Con on [[Mars (planet)|Mars]]. The release of energy that resulted was enough to knock Megatron out, allowing his two opponents to escape, but the theory had been proven. {{storylink|Mars (episode)|Mars}}

Thrust later approached Megatron and convinced him to approve of a plan that would ensure the Decepticons would hold all three Mini-Con weapons. Through his machinations, Starscream's alliance with the Autobots was shattered, and he stole the Skyboom and returned to the Decepticon fold. {{storylink|Crack (episode)|Crack}} Seemingly forgiving Starscream past betrayal, Megatron told him to take some time off as the other Decepticons completed the [[Hydra Cannon]], which was mounted on the bow on the Decepticons' new spaceship. Once the super-weapon was completed, Megatron had Starscream destroy a nearby comet with its awesome firepower. {{storylink|Threaten}} Then, as a test of loyalty, Megatron charged Starscream with pressing the fateful button that would vaporize Earth and the Autobots. Before the weapon was in alignment, Optimus Prime and Jetfire attacked the ship. Megatron battled with Prime on the hull of the craft, forcing him to watch as the cannon was fired at Earth, but at the last second, Prime broke free of Megatron's hold and threw himself in front of the beam, blocking it with the power of his [[Matrix of Leadership]]. This action also claimed Prime's life, and Megatron watched, stunned, as his eternal enemy disintegrated into space dust. {{storylink|Crisis (Armada)|Crisis}} Prime's death plunged Megatron into a deep depression, having lost his greatest opponent without the chance to finish him with his own hands. An even greater change was soon to come over Megatron—following a group of Autobots through a worm hole to a dead planet, eager to continue the fight, Megatron ''thought'' he was engaging Optimus Prime once again, only to quickly discover he was facing a twisted doppelgänger named [[Nemesis Prime (Armada)|Nemesis Prime]]. Helpless before his power, Megatron, Starscream, Demolishor, Hot Shot, and Red Alert would have been destroyed if not for their partner Mini-Cons, who combined their strength to give the larger Transformers a power boost, [[spontaneous recoloration|fusing their armor into new colors]] in the process. Rechristening himself "Galvatron", Megatron joined the Requiem Blaster with Optimus Prime's new [[Overload (Armada)|Overload]] weapons systems to destroy Nemesis Prime, then crippled the Autobots' ship with the blaster so the Decepticons could escape and beat them back to Cybertron. {{storylink|Puppet}}

With the power of the Mini-Con weapons, Galvatron and his men had no trouble taking control of the planet, but when Optimus's Autobots caught up to them, Galvatron was surprised to find that combat was not his enemy's concern: instead, Optimus spoke of the approach of [[Unicron]], a great evil he had been warned of by the Mini-Cons, and proposed an alliance between Autobot and Decepticon against him. Galvatron refused, dismissing Unicron's very existence as an Autobot trick, {{storylink|Uprising (Armada)|Uprising}} but was soon forced to rethink his position when Thrust revealed himself to be a servant of Unicron's and stole the Requiem Blaster and Skyboom Shield to begin his master's resurrection. {{storylink|Dash (episode)|Dash}} Galvatron dedicated the whole of the Decepticons' manpower into locating Thrust, ignoring reports that elsewhere, the Autobots were pulling out from their trenches. {{storylink|Drift (episode)|Drift}} Galvatron grimly ruminated on the unwelcome implications of an alliance; this would signify that the war he had spent his whole life fighting would have meant nothing. Even when Unicron's existence was definitively proven by the revelation he had been posing as Cybertron's moon, this fear led Galvatron to deny the magnitude of his threat. {{storylink|Portent}}

Having spent time in Optimus's camp and realising that an alliance under his leadership was the only way forward, Starscream pleaded with Galvatron to accept Prime's offer, but his refusal was steadfast, forcing Starscream to intervene in a later battle between Prime and Galvatron in an attempt to convince his commander by force. In the duel that resulted, Galvatron fatally ran Starscream through with the Star Saber, but with this last breath, Starscream struck against Unicron, and was utterly obliterated as a result. Reached by the sacrifice of his subordinate and the physical proof of Unicron's threat, Galvatron accepted the truth of Starscream's words and handed the Star Saber over to Prime as a symbol of their alliance. Alas, at the last moment, Sideways appeared to snatch it away, using it to complete Unicron's reawakening, much to both Optimus and Galvatron's discomfort. {{storylink|Cramp}}

Galvatron explained Starscream's intentions to the Decepticons, stating that they ought to ally with the Autobots in order to destroy Unicron for good. In a formal ceremony before all their troops, Prime and Galvatron shook hands, uniting the Autobots and Decepticons into an armada that struck at Unicron together. Their attack yielded no success, and a small scouting team was sent to Unicron's surface to gather intelligence. After Unicron began transforming, the scouting party had to be rescue by Jet Optimus and Galvatron, combined with Tidal Wave. {{storylink|Alliance}} With the revelation that their forces were unable to damage the dark god's exterior, Optimus Prime and Galvatron decided to venture inside his body; [[File:MortalCombat galvatron sacrifice.jpg|right|thumb|upright=1.4|Another time, Maecloud...]] before doing so, Galvatron confronted Thrust over his treachery on Unicron's shoulder, and left him to die when his clumsiness caused him to be caught in one of Unicron's joints and crushed. {{storylink|Union}} Once inside Unicron, Galvatron and Optimus worked their way to the chamber containing Unicron's "heart", where they were captured by the chaos-bringer and absorbed into his being, becoming one with his consciousness. In this dream-realm, Galvatron saw himself as the ruler of the universe, but the illusion was soon shattered when the Autobots' human allies were able to free the Mini-Con weapons from Unicron's hold, de-powering him. As they all tried to escape Unicron's dormant body, however, Galvatron challenged Optimus Prime to one final duel. {{storylink|Origin}} The sheer ferocity of their final clash reawakened Unicron, and he began drawing in everything nearby. With Optimus Prime holding on to him to stop him being sucked in, Galvatron saw that the only way to end the circle was to destroy himself. Sacrificing his life rather than live in an era of peace, Galvatron cut himself free from Prime's grip and plunged into Unicron's maw. In a timeline where the Cybertronians' conflict never left their home planet, the Mini-Cons' influence on the Autobots and Decepticons subjugated the larger robots. Megatron and the rest of his kind were left entangled in a semi-organic growth spawned from Unicron's cells, and were shut down by Unicron's power. Megatron laughed at Shockblast's pitiful attempt to "take his job." Brainwashing Scorponok into his slave and setting up base within Unicron's inert form, Megatron began attacking these new worlds, again stealing Energon in order to restore Unicron a second time. {{storylink|Protection}} When Shockblast was captured by the Autobots, Megatron rescued him in exchange for a promise of renewed loyalty. A short time later, Megatron returned to attack a Cybertron at peace, and was subliminally guided by Unicron to a reservoir of [[Super Energon]] beneath the planet's surface. {{storylink|Ambition}} After recruiting two of the reservoir's guardians, [[Bruticus Maximus (Energon)|Bruticus Maximus]] and [[Constructicon Maximus]], to his side, Megatron immersed himself in the powerful liquid and underwent another power boost, accompanied by a spontaneous recoloration. He was once again inspired to take the name of Galvatron. Now in control of Cybertron, Galvatron met with his newest recruit, Shockblast's brother [[Six Shot]], who proposed using the energon towers to propel the planet through space. Urged to do so by Unicron, Galvatron ordered Cybertron moved into Alpha Q's universe, but was quick to lose patience with the newbie when Six Shot opened fire on the ''Miranda II'' without orders, seeking to destroy Optimus Prime (mistakenly believing that it was he who killed his brother). {{storylink|Galvatron!}} Soon after, when the Autobots were able to return to Cybertron's surface, Galvatron engaged them in battle, but Six Shot's continued insubordination served to infuriate him further when he unleashed more Energon gas that sent the Autobots fleeing into the planet's depths. {{storylink|Break Through}}

At some point participated in an Autobot training simulation that took the form of a fighting tournament. Partnered with Starscream, Galvatron defeated Cyclonus and Demolishor (in their original bodies), then bested the two in their upgraded forms, before tiring of the games and departing, forfeiting the rest of the tournament. {{storylink|Distribution}}

As his troops sought out the Autobots, Galvatron elected to remain in the control room to keep a close eye on Six Shot as he used the energon grid to clear space debris out of Cybertron's path, but even this didn't stop the young punk from defying orders and turning the grid on Optimus Prime when he got a chance. This prompted Galvatron to smack him around for abandoning his appointed task, inadvertently saving Prime's life. {{storylink|The Omega Train}} In response, Six Shot promised not to do anything at all any more—a promise he fulfilled quite literally when Galvatron engaged Optimus Prime in battle sooner after and received only silence in response to his command to fire the energon grid at Prime. {{storylink|Decepticon Army}} Galvatron was unwilling to comply when Six Shot demanded an apology before he returned to work, but Starscream offered to do so in his lord's place. Cybertron soon emerged into Alpha Q's realm, where Galvatron watched, amazed, as Optimus Prime called upon the power of Primus to grow to planet-size and halt Cybertron's movement with his bare hands. As he dueled Rodimus to get closer to his titanic adversary, Galvatron commanded Six Shot to increase the energon towers' output. This resulted in the towers exploding, {{storylink|Formidable}} which Galvatron blamed and bludgeoned Six Shot for. Six Shot decided to make a play for the Super Energon, and Galvatron pursued him back to the reservoir, where the Decepticon leader immersed himself in the pool for a second time. Prime wagered correctly, and the two combatants grew to even ''more'' gigantic heights for a devastating brawl. Ten years after Galvatron's sacrifice, in the year [[2030]], Primus's plan to imprison Unicron's spark at the heart of the sun ultimately failed when the star collapsed, creating a massive [[Unicron Singularity|black hole]] which threatened the existence of not just Cybertron, but the entirety of creation. The sun's collapse allowed the still-living Galvatron to escape, and he immediately set about fashioning Unicron's remains into an [[Armor of Unicron|armor]] that he merged with his body, massively increasing his powers with the dark god's own and reverted to being Megatron once again. Using his new abilities, Megatron created a [[fire dimension|pocket dimension]] to serve as a base of operations for himself and his troops, who—given that the Decepticon army was scattered to a state of virtual non-existence—consisted solely of Starscream, no longer the brainwashed servant of ten years gone, and the overeager [[Thundercracker (Armada)|Thundercracker]].

At the last moment, Vector Prime realized that Megatron was not the kindly bot he pretended to be, but Megatron tore the map from his grip and smashed his way through the Autobots to escape. {{storylink|Fallen (episode)|Fallen}} Megatron and Starscream followed the map to the first Key, but found only a barren field of asteroids, realizing that the ancient map was outdated and had not been re-synchronized to the changed layout of the universe. {{storylink|Inferno (episode)|Inferno}}

Concerned that the Autobots were up to something on Earth, Megatron briefly tabled the search for the Cyber Planet Keys to investigate. Driven back by the [[Cyber Key]] power of Vector Prime, Megatron never knew he was only a stone's throw away from discovering the hidden location of the Autobots' new Earth base. {{storylink|Haven}} He soon returned for another strike, but this time found himself beaten back by Optimus Prime's newly acquired Cyber Key power. Leaving Starscream and Thundercracker to search Earth for the [[Omega Lock]], the focusing device for the Cyber Planet Keys, Megatron resumed the Key quest, wresting from the map the location of the first one: [[Velocitron]], the Speed Planet. {{storylink|Hidden}} After recruiting local thugs [[Ransack (Cybertron)|Ransack]] and [[Crumplezone (Cybertron)|Crumplezone]] to do his bidding, {{storylink|Landmine (episode)|Landmine}} he approached planet leader [[Override (Cybertron)|Override]] in hope of learning the whereabouts of the Key, but found he would have to beat her in a race before she would give up any information. Even with the added power boost of his own Cyber Key power (attained through unrecorded circumstances), Megatron lost the race, but Override admitted she didn't know anything anyway. {{storylink|Space (episode)|Space}} Not one to take no for an answer, Megatron continued his line of inquiry, learning of the [[Planet Cup]] and suspecting it to be related to the Key. Override proposed another race for ownership of the trophy, but Megatron lost again. {{storylink|Rush (episode)|Rush}}

Returning to Earth to check up on Starscream's progress, Megatron was irritated to find he had made none, and left to return to Velocitron, unaware that Starscream had switched the planet map with a copy. {{storylink|Speed}} Tired of the Speed Planet's racing customs, Megatron attempted to simply blast his way into the Planet Cup shrine and steal the trophy, but when even that failed, he decided to allow Crumplezone and Ransack to participate in a racing tournament that would allow them to win the cup legally if they were victorious. {{storylink|Collapse}} His attention freed to return to the mysteries of the map, Megatron divined the location of the next Key, the [[Animatron|Jungle Planet]]. Before departing for this new world, he joined Starscream and Thundercracker on Earth to chase up the latest lead to the Omega Lock. Although the relic they found in the [[Sahara|Sahara Desert]] proved to be a fake, Megatron did prove his evil by destroying the Autobots [[Recon Mini-Con Team|Mini-Con allies]] during the fight. Fortunately, Vector Prime used his powers over time to rewind the battle and save their lives. {{storylink|Time (episode)|Time}}

Megatron payed a short visit to Jungle Planet, muscling his way into the sanctuary of the planet's ruler, [[Scourge (Cybertron)|Scourge]]. Though Scourge wasn't fooled into thinking that Megatron was planning to save the Universe out of altruism, {{storylink|Search (episode)|Search}} the Decepticon ingratiated himself with the planet's leader by engaging him in a sparring match and winning his good favour by pulling his final blow at the last second. Megatron then returned to Earth upon learning that the Autobots had located the Omega Lock at the bottom of the [[Bermuda Triangle]]. The Lock proved to be contained in the ancient Cybertronian starship the ''[[Atlantis]]'', which Vector Prime warped away to the dark side of the moon to keep it out of Megatron's hands. {{storylink|Deep}} Megatron was able to use the planet map to quickly deduce the ship's location, and battled Optimus Prime within its walls for possession of the Omega Lock. In seizing the device, Megatron triggered the ship's self-destruct systems, and he was caught in the blast while Optimus escaped with the Lock. {{storylink|Ship}} Badly injured by the explosion, Megatron retreated to Jungle Planet, where he sealed himself in a regenerative bubble to heal. Receiving word from Crumplzone and Ransack that Optimus Prime had arrived on Velocitron, {{storylink|Hero (episode)|Hero}} Megatron contacted Starscream and ordered him to back up the gruesome twosome, only to have him refuse point blank. {{storylink|Race}} Soon, Megatron emerged from his bubble to witness Scourge defeating the Autobot [[Overhaul (Cybertron)|Overhaul]] in battle. When Overhaul returned for a rematch soon after, Megatron tried to help Scourge by debuting his Cyber Key-powered battle claw, but could only watch in amazement as Overhaul tapped the power of the Cyber Planet Key and became Leobreaker. {{storylink|Detour (episode)|Detour}}

Leaving Jungle Planet to track down the third Key, Megatron watched the planet where it allegedly rested be consumed by the black hole. Unaware that he was working from the tampered copy of the map and that the Key was never there, Megatron believed it destroyed, and contacted Starscream to discuss what their next move should be. A communication from [[Sideways (Armada)|Sideways]] alerted them to Optimus Prime's arrival on Jungle Planet, and Megatron headed back to the bestial planet in time to be resoundingly defeated by Optimus and Leobreaker's new combined "Savage Claw Mode". {{storylink|Savage}} After training back up to full strength and another brief encounter against the Autobots, {{storylink|Sand}} Megatron returned to Velocitron just as Hot Shot won the Planet Cup. Immediately striking just as the forcefield around the trophy dropped so it could be awarded to the victorious Autobot, Megatron snatched the cup away, but was quickly bested by the combined forces of the Autobots and another Savage Claw attack. {{storylink|Champion}}

Back on Jungle Planet once more, Megatron stood on the sidelines, preparing to witness the battle for the Key between Scourge and Optimus Prime that was inevitable. {{storylink|Ice}} Prime refused to fight, however, and when Leobreaker tried to take Scourge alone and was wounded, Megatron attempted to finish him off. This display of dishonor enraged Scourge and he ordered Megatron to stay his hand, noticeably ruffling the Decepticon leader's feathers. Soon, when Prime came around to the idea of combat, Megatron grew concerned, and tried to dissuade Scourge from answering his challenge. {{storylink|Honor}} Scourge refused, so Megatron surreptitiously dispatched the Decepticons to stop the Autobots from making it to the battleground, making himself scarce to avoid being implicated when the plan failed. Optimus subsequently defeated Scourge and won the Cyber Planet Key, prompting Megatron to discard his previous notions of subtlety and order an all-out attack. {{storylink|Primal (Cybertron)|Primal}} Optimus attempted to fool the Decepticons with a shell game, concealing the Key in one of several boxes and distributing them among the Autobots; thinking Prime would keep the Key himself, Megatron attacked him, but found him empty-handed. Deducing that Leobreaker had the Key, Megatron hunted him down, taunting him into the open with insults, but before they could battle, Optimus arrived to form Savage Claw Mode. With aid from Starscream, Megatron wrestled the Key from the duo, but before he could deliver a killing blow, the Key interacted with Prime's Matrix of Leadership, opening a space bridge through which all the other Autobots poured. Outnumbered, Megatron lost the Key and was beaten into retreat. {{storylink|Trust (Cybertron)|Trust}}

Furious over two losses, Megatron nearly destroyed the planet map in his rage, until Starscream stopped him and managed to coax the location of the third Key from it. Departing at once with all his other troops, Megatron was led to empty space, where the phony map enveloped all the Decepticons, save for Crumplezone, in a metallic sphere. {{storylink|Trap}} Unable to escape even with his great power, {{storylink|Retreat}} Megatron was only able to liberate himself and his men with help from Scourge, who struck the sphere from without as Megatron attacked it within. In the time Megatron had been imprisoned, however, Starscream had obtained the third Cyber Planet Key, from Earth, for himself, along with the Omega Lock and other keys. Megatron made a beeline for his treacherous lieutenant, but was intercepted by the Autobots Hot Shot, Red Alert and Scattorshot at [[Niagara Falls]], who intended to hold him off until the other Autobots could stop Starscream and recover the Lock and Keys. Megatron's rage at being thwarted allowed him to tap the power of the Earth Key from afar, its energies unlocking a new Cyber Key Power within him—the "Death Machine Gun," which Megatron used to mow down the three Autobots in his path. {{storylink|Revelation (episode)|Revelation}} The power of Primus restored the wounded trio as the [[Cybertron Defense Team]], {{storylink|Critical}} and they continued to obstruct Megatron's path until the clumsiness of his own troops provided the Decepticon leader with the distraction he needed to open a warp gate and abscond to Starscream's volcanic island base. There, Megatron battled with Primes Optimus and Vector in the caldera, but was blindsided by the newest Autobot arrival [[Wing Saber (Energon)|Wing Saber]]. [[File:Cybertron megatron barehands.jpg|right|thumb|upright=1.4]] Enraged, Megatron forgot his goals for a moment and began dogfighting with the Autobot ace, {{storylink|Assault}} which gave Starscream the time he needed to channel the power of the Lock and Keys and grow to a skyscraper-sized giant. In their power and fury, Megatron and Starscream began seething with auras of raw energon, and the Autobots were forced to step into the middle of the battle to keep the two Decepticons separate so their energon fields would not collide and ignite. {{storylink|Starscream (episode)|Starscream}}

As the battle raged, the Autobots recovered the Omega Lock and Keys, and Leobreaker, Override and [[Evac (Cybertron)|Evac]] departed via space bridge to take them back to Cybertron. Megatron gave chase, recruiting the services of the smitten [[Thunderblast (Decepticon)|Thunderblast]] in the process. {{storylink|United}} No sooner had he followed them back to Cybertron than Megatron was confronted by the pursuing Optimus Prime, who had defeated Starscream on Earth. Seizing the Omega Lock, Megatron escaped into his fire dimension, but Optimus followed through his warp gate and the two leaders battled across the hellish landscape. The collision of their Cyber Key Powers tore the dimension open, allowing Prime to escape with the Lock, at which point he ordered Vector Prime to open one of his own dimension gates across the portal, collapsing Megatron's dimension in on itself. To escape the imploding realm, Megatron tore the fabric of space open with his bare hands, but he was then speared by a combined blast from the Omega Lock and Vector Prime's sword and apparently destroyed. {{storylink|Cybertron (episode)|Cybertron}}

This was not to be the end for Megatron, however, as the power of his Unicron armor sustained him as a ghost-like entity composed of pure darkness. {{storylink|Balance}} In this state, he rematerialized on Cybertron and used Unicron's reformatting powers to upgrade the injured Crumplezone into Dark Crumplezone. As he came under attack from Leobreaker, his regeneration completed and his physical body was restored, even as he used the remainder of the lingering darkness to create an evil doppelganger of Leobreaker, [[Nemesis Breaker]], out of the Autobot's own dark thoughts. {{storylink|Darkness (episode)|Darkness}} [[File:Cyb ep33 dark claw mode.jpg|right|thumb|upright=1.4]] Merging with Nemesis Breaker to form Dark Claw Mode, Megatron battled Optimus Prime and Leobreaker's Savage Claw Mode and made a further play for the Omega Lock, {{storylink|Memory (Cybertron)|Memory}} until the news that Starscream had discovered the location of the fourth and final Cyber Planet Key led him to withdraw. {{storylink|Escape (episode)|Escape}}

Discovering that Starscream had repaired the ''Atlantis'', Megatron led his Decepticons in pursuit of the ship, clashing with the Autobots as they attempted to rescue [[Bud Hansen|Bud]], [[Reverb (Cybertron)|Reverb]], and [[Six-Speed (Cybertron)|Six-Speed]] from aboard it. When the ''Atlantis'' warped away, Megatron found himself approached by the mysterious [[Soundwave (Cybertron)|Soundwave]], {{storylink|Titans}} who proceeded to lead them through the fire dimension to the resting place of the fourth Key: [[Gigantion]], the Giant Planet. {{storylink|Warp}} There, Megatron confronted towering planet leader [[Metroplex (Cybertron)|Metroplex]] in battle, but much to his surprise, was utterly defeated in seconds. {{storylink|Giant}} Consumed with rage over the defeat, the power of Unicron within his armor reached out and detected the energies of the Giant Planet's Cyber Planet Key, drawing upon them and infusing Megatron's body with them. Attacking the Autobots in a dark, shadowed form, he decimated most of their forces before being confronted by Optimus Prime and completing his transformation—once again, Megatron had become Galvatron. Both combatants struck at each other simultaneously, and although he suffered only minor wounds compared to Optimus, Galvatron elected to call the fight a draw and pulled out. {{storylink|Fury (Cybertron)|Fury}}

After having his men buff the dents out of his armor, Galvatron ordered them to begin a quest down through Gigantion's many layers to claim the Cyber Planet Key deep within the planet. {{storylink|City}} The Decepticons split up into teams, with Galvatron partnering off with the newest Decepticon recruit, disgruntled Gigantion native [[Menasor (Cybertron)|Menasor]]. After making their down through many levels without obstruction, Galvatron and Menasor were confronted by the Cybertron Defense Team, eager for a rematch with the Decepticon leader. Alas, despite their upgrades, they were no match for Galvatron's increased power, {{storylink|Scourge (episode)|Scourge}} and the Decepticon leader carried on his way, arriving at the planet's lowest layer just as the Autobots were about to reach the Key. Battling Optimus Prime once more, Galvatron taunted him with the defeat of the Cybertron Defense Team, and crippled Optimus by putting the suggestion in his mind that he was deliberately putting his soldiers in danger. Galvatron's words were soon proven wrong when all the Autobots joined together to hold him off, and Optimus, his strength renewed by his troops' show of faith, used Metroplex's [[Sparkdrinker|axe]] to send Galvatron flying into the sky and out of the fight. {{storylink|Optimus (episode)|Optimus}}

After the Autobots added the Gigantion Key to the Omega Lock, Galvatron swooped in to steal the device, only to be attacked by Starscream. The two rivals battled for possession of the artifact, and Galvatron ultimately emerged triumphant, with the sheer amount of energy released in the clash actually blasting Starscream (along with Sideways and Soundwave) into another dimension. {{storylink|Showdown (Cybertron)|Showdown}} With the Lock and Keys now in his hands, Galvatron returned to the black hole, using their power not to close the singularity, but to ''accelerate'' its spread, intending to destroy the entire universe and remake it in his image—beginning with the Jungle Planet, which he pulled into the black hole from across space. When the Autobots caught up to him, able to return from Gigantion thanks to the sacrifice of Vector Prime, they found they were no match for his enhanced strength. Soon, however, they received reinforcements in the form of every other Cybertronian in the universe, forcing Galvatron to fall back. {{storylink|Homecoming (episode)|Homecoming}}

After using the power of the Lock to transform his remaining minions into giants to keep the Autobots at bay, Galvatron entered the black hole itself, where he was confronted by the five planet leaders. Despite absorbing the power of the Lock and becoming a giant himself, Galvatron was eventually defeated by his enemies, forcing him to throw the Omega Lock and the Cyber Planet Keys into the very core of the black hole in hopes of destroying the universe anyway. Unfortunately for him, Optimus grabbed the Lock (with some otherworldly aid from Vector Prime), and Primus' Spark was finally restored, allowing him to use the Ark to finally seal the black hole for good. Adding insult to injury, Galvatron's depowered troops found out that he had every intention of letting them die with the rest of the universe, and so abandoned the defeated Decepticon leader in the void. {{storylink|End}}

With ultimate power torn from his grasp, Galvatron was contemplating giving up when Starscream's spirit reached out across the dimensions to taunt him. After the vision of his mocking ex-lieutenant faded, Galvatron's confidence was restored, and he immediately flew to Jungle Planet, damaging one of the planetary engines the Autobots were using to return it to its proper place in space. While the Autobots scrambled to repair the engine, Galvatron challenged Optimus Prime to one final duel, battling him first on Cybertron's surface, and then on its moon. Generating a sword of dark energy, Galvatron was about to deliver a killing blow to Prime when Vector Prime's planet map appeared to block the blade. From the map, Optimus drew Vector Prime's [[Rhisling|mighty sword]], and thus armed, he and Galvatron initiated one final charge at each other. Prime impaled Galvatron with the sword, and he collapsed, weakly reaching for Prime with the last of his strength even as his body disintegrated into cosmic particles, his life at an end at last. {{storylink|Unfinished}}

But somewhere... beyond the veil of space and time itself... Galvatron's evil proved eternal, as his shade battled with the spark of Vector Prime in the hereafter. {{storylink|Beginning}}

==Force of Habit==
During the early stages of the hunt for the Cyber Planet Keys, Megatron assigned other Decepticons to search the cosmos "the hard way", without the benefit of the Planet Map. Though Megatron used his Armor of Unicron to bestow Cyber Keys upon them, one such group's leader, [[Brushguard]], rankled at the task, and upon discovering an arsenal of advanced weaponry on the planet [[Combatron (planet)|Combatron]], decided to keep it for himself. His dreams of glory foiled by an Autobot team led by [[Longrack (Cybertron)|Longrack]], Brushguard and his unit were left stranded on Combatron and had to contact Megatron for help; irate, the Decepticon leader refused to open a [[warp gate]] for them, instead making them wait a deca-cycle for a ship to arrive. {{storylink|Force of Habit}}

==Ask Vector Prime==
Some version of Galvatron was resurrected after his death by Unicron on behalf of the [[Sunstorm (Universe)|Sunstorm]] of [[Aurex 105.15 Gamma]]. As Galvatron's spirit was summoned from the [[Transformer afterlife|Allspark]], the dead aspect of Vector Prime battled him in the astral plane, but Vector failed as Unicron's pull was unstoppable. In the mortal plane, Galvatron returned, disoriented, and thus Sunstorm struck, hoping to get revenge for his brother [[Thrust (Armada)|Thrust]], but Galvatron proved to be too powerful. Sunstorm died, Galvatron claimed [[Inferno (Armada)|Inferno]], the [[Street Action Mini-Con Team]] fled in the confusion, and Galvatron himself was unleashed back into the cosmos. {{storylink|Ask Vector Prime#Facebook|Ask Vector Prime, 2015/08/06}}
