::I could be wrong, but I believe Marvel put out a Secret Wars II Omnibus in 2009, and while that doesn't solve the question of them owning Josie versus CB, but it was my understanding that reprinting those issues somehow renewed their copyright? ::Marvel owns "Circuit Breaker," and the circuit-covered design the same way they own their versions of "Thor" and "Hercules" and the designs those characters have. Josie Beller appeared as an engineering genius in July 1985, and was upgraded to Transformer-hating mostly-paralyzed engineering genius sworn to get revenge in August 1985. That much Hasbro would have ownership of, and they and their licensors would be able to use (although they might get a "reminder" from Marvel's lawyers not to give her a robot-killing circuitboard bikini), but they wouldn't be able to use the "Circuit Breaker" who showed up in September 1985's Secret Wars. Marvel didn't think anyone would want to use a largely-paralyzed supergenius sworn to kill Transformers without a sexy design and cool superpowers. ** "Megatron Must Be Destroyed!" - The two-part season finale (series finale?) would have had Megatron's machinations threaten the entire planet. Optimus gathers as many allies as imaginable to defeat Megatron once and for all.

Three rejected toy concepts were shown: Marauder Megatron (Megatron in a new body, and as a [[Triple Changer]]), Hot Shot (an Earth-mode toy inspired by his [[Transformers: Universe (2008 toyline)|2008 Universe]] figure), and Powermaster Optimus Prime (would have combined with a trailer and a Minicon to improve his size and power, looking similar to the original Powermaster Prime). Hot Shot and Megatron made it as far as the prototype stage, but Powermaster Prime existed only as concept art. There is a note from Hasbro outright stating that they will never be released, despite their wishes.
