"...as the germanic Volfang". Is the author referring to "Wolfgang" as in Mozarts first name? Volfang is not a word, nor a name in German. It is pronounced "Folfang" just like in VolksWagen (The Wagon of the Folk). Wolfang=Folfgang or what? I do not get the logic.

It's just the first thing it was called, and thus that romanization of the name was reported everywhere. Yet from what I hear, the actual Japanese name doesn't even have a D sound in it. --[[User:ItsWalky|ItsWalky]] 23:52, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

Some time after Starscream fled from prehistorical Earth, Wolfang was part of a group of Predacons, led by [[Megatron (BW)|Megatron]] and including [[Waspinator (BW)|Waspinator]], [[Blackarachnia (BW)|Blackarachnia]], and a time-displaced [[Archadis]], who battled a contingent of [[Maximal]]s comprised of [[Optimus Primal]], [[Rhinox (BW)|Rhinox]], [[Cheetor (BW)|Cheetor]], [[Cohrada]], and [[Dinobot (BW)|Dinobot]] in a forest. All of the Transformers transformed into robot mode. {{storylink|Beast Wars Diorama Story|Convoy Chapter}} Wolfang found himself locked into battle with Rhinox. Rhinox attacked with his "Terror Blade" only to be fought off by Wolfang's "Crossbow Missile". His wolf mode's back becomes a shield, while the tail becomes a spring-loaded missile launcher in robot mode; two anchor-shaped missiles are stored in Wolfang's midsection.

* His CGI artwork (shown above) is ''exactly'' the same model and pose as the CGI artwork for the original "Howlinger" toy packaging from 1997, only with Wolfang's new colors slapped on.
