It's a race against time as Ultra Magnus goes up against Soundblaster and an alien armada to rescue Alpha Trion from the Black Sphere.

Synopsis
Time's running out for Ultra Magnus: not only are Alpha Trion and Soundblaster under siege from a Kworian armada, their battered starship is nearing the rim of the Black Sphere... and Chromedome reports that the gravitational space-time distortions they're experiencing could mean that they're already too late. As Victory Leo hauls the squabbling Octane and Spinister away to the ship's brig, Chromedome explains the situation to Magnus, who's already donned a bulky suit of spaceworthy armor to make the rescue: by piggybacking off the holographic signal Soundblaster used to contact them on Obsidar and patching it directly into his new armor, Magnus will be able to find the ship using this improvised "homing beacon" and communicate with Alpha Trion. The general wastes no time as he leaps out of the nearest docking bay and blasts off straight towards the Kworian flotilla. Magnus is smaller and more agile than the massive battlecruisers, and uses his maneuverability to his advantage as he weaves in and out of their line of fire and gives them the chance to retreat from the danger zone by shooting out their weapons.

Although Magnus believes the Kworians to be enemies, Trion explains that this is not the case, and that the truth is far more complicated. Though he initially sought to cut a simple bargain with Soundblaster, Trion's would-be business partner grew consumed by greed and monomania, and his obsession with finding and selling old Cybertronian relics led to unsanctioned excavations that have soured the perception of the Transformers across many different worlds. Indeed, when Magnus asks if Trion could call off the aliens, he notes that it's unlikely the Kworians will see Magnus as anything but an enemy. Finally, Magnus reaches their vessel and blasts his way up through the hull and into the bridge but when he tells Trion that they have to leave, Soundblaster refuses and tells the general that the sage must fulfill his end of the bargain they cut. Indeed, Soundblaster's madness is such that, even amid the chaos of a burning starship, he offers Magnus a part in their impromptu "organization"... and when Trion tries to convince Soundblaster to release him from this insane contract, the angry relic hunter unleashes a blast that sends them both flying! As the concussive waves batter Magnus's armor, and Chromedome warns that their ship's nearing the event horizon, Magnus finds his second wind and pushes his way through Soundblaster's waves of sonic force and hurls a disorienting flashbang that stuns Soundblaster long enough for Magnus to scoop up Trion, activate the ship's emergency thrusters, then blasts open an exit with his shoulder missiles and gets ready to blast off. Soundblaster makes a final grab for the both of them before Magnus manages to kick their attacker free and takes off—seconds before Trion's ship vanishes into the black hole.

Back aboard the Fist of Iacon, it's congratulations all around for the heroes of the hour as Trion thanks Magnus for saving him, and Magnus, in turn, thanks his friend for helping him to change his outlook all those years ago. Chromedome, however, has news, both good and bad: although they'll be in Cybertronian space soon, Victory Leo confirms that the space-time distortions during their last rescue mission have put them seventy cycles behind schedule. Worse yet, things have only further deteriorated in their absence, and Megatron has overthrown the Senate. When Magnus tries to contact Omega Supreme on a private comms channel, he gets nothing; Chromedome confirms that the only message they can pick up is one of Megatron's recent speeches playing on loop. Magnus briefly despairs at the sight, and wonders if Spinister was right—if maybe the Cybertron he fought for really is gone. Alpha Trion offers some comfort; he sought those ancient relics not just out of abstract academic curiosity, but because the relics of the past—and the codes that they contain—may be the key to saving the future. All they need is some faith in their cause and the courage to forge ahead...

Sixty-six cycles earlier: Soundblaster has survived his encounter with the black hole and returned to Cybertron ahead of Ultra Magnus to warn his master Shockwave of his recent defeat. The scientist is disappointed by this failures, but decides to let him live—after all, his splice-thieving operation have given the scientist enough raw materials to finish his latest project, and as Shockwave unveils an army of Insecticon clones, he admits that he'd hate to deny Soundblaster his role in the new order...
"Chromedome, you realize that I can toss you into the Black Sphere?" <br>
"Heh. Good one, general. You're kidding, of course. Right? General?"
"To kill you would be a phenomenal waste. And I'd hate for you to miss the storm approaching the horizon of the future. The Decepticon future."
Notes
Continuity notes
* Megatron's prerecorded speech in this issue is the one he gave to the citizens of Iacon during Transformers issue #21.
* Spinister mentioned a "master" in the previous issue; it was a sure bet at the time that he was working for Shockwave, who'd been put in charge of coordinating the activities of various banished Cybertronians as per Transformers #15, and this issue bears that theory out. That same issue also revealed that Shockwave had been experimenting with Exarchon's old caches of technology, and that the leader of the Threefold Spark was very interested in cloning... although the comic remains ambiguous as to whether Soundblaster himself is a clone.
* Shockwave's Insecticon clones will go on to play a role in the Escape miniseries—indeed, issue #1, released on the same day as this comic, had Bombshell muse that they would need "more of themselves" to devour everything on Cybertron. We'll have to keep reading to find out if Trion's knowledge will somehow assist Wheeljack in his hunt for the missing Ark ships!

Transformers references
* Ultra Magnus attempts to contact Omega Supreme on frequency "gee-wun", in reference to the snarky moniker for overly-nostalgic Transformers fans.
* "Code: Tarnhauser" is a reference to Tarn-Hauser Gate, a location seen in Siege portion of Netflix's War for Cybertron show. Ultra Magnus fought beside Megatron at the Battle of Tarn-Hauser Gate.
* Magnus describes Omega as one of many "city guardians" in what's probably a reference to the existence of multiple "Guardian robots" from the The Transformers episode "War Dawn".
* Alpha Trion's holograms of the past include a glimpse of an Ark-class ship—this one identical to the golden vessel from the original Transformers cartoon--and Vector Sigma, the ancient supercomputer that's closely associated with Alpha Trion himself after the The Transformers episode "The Key to Vector Sigma".

Other trivia
* One last delay for old time’s sake: originally solicited for October, then deliberately pushed back until November, the final issue of Galaxies arrives another whole month behind that, barely missing the end of 2020.
High Tide came to Earth in response to a request from Optimus. He was investigating the seabed around Drilling Platform number 6 near Griffin Rock when he rescued Heatwave from a whirlpool, and took the Rescue Bot back to land. There Optimus assigned High Tide to train the Rescue Bots in water rescues. He took them out on his ship and drilled them, though he was unimpressed with how they did, requiring him to rescue Boulder at one point, and the next day he was even subjected to insubordination from Heatwave, whom he kicked off the ship. Training was interrupted by a crisis at the oil rig, and the Rescue Bots proved their worth by rescuing Doc Greene and Frankie, as well as capping the oil shaft to stop the spill. High Tide later admitted his management style could use work, and agreed to stick around as Doc's floating lab had been destroyed. Turning the Tide
After Jules Verne arrived from the past, High Tide took him and the Rescue Bots out on the ship. His submarine mode turned out to be invaluable to let Verne, Cody and the Chief reach Dr. Morocco's sub the Nemo. When Morocco unleashed several large sea beasts on the ship, High Tide simply merged with it, and the sight of the resulting giant 'Bot made Morocco surrender. The Last of Morocco
High Tide sat in on a call to the Rescue Bots who were going to give some new recruits some tips, only to find the Bots on Griffin Rock were only able to sing. I Have Heard the Robots Singing High Tide was on his way to Griffin Rock with Blurr and Salvage when they had to stop and rescue Woodrow Burns. They were in sight of the island when it suddenly disappeared, leaving a number of surprised humans to rescue. Now and Then They were soon contacted by Chief Burns, and had to clear out the crater where Griffin Rock used to be, so the island could be relocated there after flying back from the Arctic where it had been teleported. Today and Forever

On All Spark Day, High Tide celebrated by repeatedly jumping into the sea, until he was told to stop because he was creating huge waves. :Solicited as an exclusive to Amazon.com, this version of High Tide was to be released concurrently with Salvage and is sized around the scale of the very original Rescue Bots toys. He shares engineering with his original figure from the Rescue Rig playset, but isn't encumbered by the gimmickry that toy was designed around and is therefore more robust and show-accurate. Unfortunately he was cancelled in December 2017.
Goshooter (ゴーシューター Gōshūtā) is a former Transtector who gained life from and independently of his former owner, Shūta Gō, via the power of Masterforce. As such, Goshooter takes after Shūta's personality and even his skills in soccer.

His rescue experience as a Transtector on Earth has taught him to value life, and this, with his developed combat skills, has primed him to become a leader for the next generation of Autobots.

Fiction
Japanese Generation 1 cartoon continuity
Super-God Masterforce cartoon
The Transtector that would become Goshooter was manufactured by the Autobots of Master under Chromedome's eye, to allow the humans of Earth to defend their planet against the Decepticons if needed. When Shūta Gō and his friends requested to join the battle, Metalhawk granted the children their wish in the form of Master-Braces and the Headmaster Junior Transtectors. In his Headmaster Jr form, Shūta used the codename of "Goshooter", a pun on his real name. With his Transtector, Shūta participated in the epic war against the Decepticons led by Devil Z. Birth! Headmaster Jrs

In the wake of Devil Z's destruction, the bond between the Autobot humans and their Transtectors was broken, and Shūta became a normal kid again as his now-living Transtector and those of all the other Autobots headed into space to continue the fight against the Decepticons. A Battle... and Then...

Legends comic
In 2021, Goshooter was stationed at the transtector factory in G Nebula 89. He watched on as Grand convinced the former human Decepticon Headmaster Juniors to seek safety in the Legends Universe. LG24 Shockwave & Cancer Prologue He later helped defend the factory from an attack by Overlord's Decepticons. Legends Comic: Bonus Edition Vol. 39

Wars manga
After his departure from Earth, Goshooter joined his commander, the former Transtector of Ginrai, in battles against the former Decepticon Transtectors in G Nebula 89. He became the third commander of the Second Army after Greatshot left. #Generations His leadership was tested when Darkwings attacked with Blue Bacchus and Black Shadow, but Goshooter was able to repel them with his partner, Shūta Gō. Train Wars: Goshooter & Shūta Gō Chapter

When The Fallen attacked Cybertron in the hopes of merging with Vector Sigma, Overdrive sought additional help using the power of his Quantum Dial. Further empowering the dial with the help of the Oracle, Overdrive reached across space and time to recruit Goshooter and other inter-dimensional warriors. Train Wars

The reinforcements were no match for the Fallen's combination mode, however, and soon Goshooter was the only warrior left untouched. Goshooter had reunited with his template, Shūta Gō, now wearing an exo-suit. The two of them tag-teamed the Fallen's minion Smokescreen, using a love of soccer to kick the villain into submission. However, the Fallen's energy conductive spikes soon impaled Goshooter's kicking leg. Shūta struggled with the Fallen for possession of Vector Sigma while Goshooter worked to free himself. When the moment came, Goshooter demonstrated his ambidexterity (and blasphemy?) by using his remaining good leg to kick the Vector Sigma orb straight into the Fallen's face. Alpha Trion then empowered Shouki using Vector Sigma, turning him into a Raiden train-bazooka which Goshooter wielded in a final strike against the Fallen. Train Wars 2

Super-God Masterforce manga
Shūta Gō and his friends were recruited by Metalhawk to fight Devil Z's Decepticons. After a period of intensive training, they were given Master-Braces and Transtectors, becoming Headmaster Juniors. Shūta went as "Goshooter" in his Headmaster Junior guise. Headmaster Jrs Are Born

Later, the death of Devil Z caused the bond between the humans and their Transtectors to be broken, and Shūta became a normal kid again as his now-living Transtector and those of all the other Autobots headed into space to continue the fight against the Decepticons. The Birth of the Super Lifeforms
The roof is hinged and can be opened to reveal an interior in which Shūta can sit, using his head-mode helmet as a seat. His head guns can be stored on the hood while his rifle can be plugged onto the roof.

: In robot mode, like all Headmaster toys, the Goshooter Transtector has a flip-down panel on its chest which covers a spring-loaded mini-Tech-Spec-meter which gives reads for Speed, Strength, and Intelligence. The tumblers are activated when Shūta (or any other Headmaster unit) is plugged into his neck socket. Shūta has the Transtector's face plainly visible on his back because, as a smaller Headmaster toy, he lacks the flip-down panel featured on larger Headmasters.

:Available only as a mail-away exclusive offered through Transformers Generations 2014 Vol. 2, this two-pack includes the Goshooter Transtector in the form of a retool of Generations Deluxe Class Nightbeat and Shūta Gō as a redeco of the same line's Blazemaster. Goshooter transforms into a sports car that mimics the original toy's police deco (the most obvious omission being his lightbar) and comes with two blasters which peg via 5 mm post into his hands, forearms, and rear vehicle sides, and can also combine into a large weapon. Magazine previews have shown the combined weapon attached to Goshooter's leg as a booster to give him superpowered kicks.

:Meanwhile, Shūta transforms into a helicopter, a robot with 3 mm-compatible hands, and a 5 mm-handle weapon to be held by the Transtector. His robot mode deco harkens to his armoured appearance in Masterforce, complete with green visor. Magazine previews explain this Shūta 'has grown into a fine young man', making him the first of the former Masterforce characters to meet up with his living Transtector.

:Goshooter originated as one of ten possible toy concepts shown in Transformers Generations 2014 Vol. 1, with a poll being held to choose which of the figures would be produced. : In eight out of every ten cases, the pewter version of Goshooter came packaged with the left arm of the Black Zarak "Build-A-Figure". This part could be in either full color or smoky-clear plastic, packed at an equal ratio of 4:4 cases.

: The pewter version of the figure has a potential problem with connector peg breakage at the shoulders, due to said pegs often getting a layer of pewter paint before being forced into a socket, leading to sticking and tearing. Care should be used when moving or removing the arms; shaving down the socket interior with a thin hobby knife is usually sufficient to fix the issue.

Transformers: Shadows Rising is an arcade rail shooter based on the live action films and the follow-up to Transformers: Human Alliance. Developed by Sega and released beginning in 2018, the game can be played with one or two players, and is available in a theater cabinet featuring a 55" HD screen.

Gameplay
Gameplay is largely identical to that of Human Alliance, with up to two players using mounted gun turrets to fire at opponents on screen across four stages. The Pacific Ocean, Wales and East China stages can be played in any order before moving on to the final stage, The Moon. New to the game's control interface is the addition of a "Hyperenergy Tech" lever. This can be used to either create a shockwave that damages multiple enemies at once, or to generate a force field to protect the players from enemy attacks. Players can also push this lever in a specified direction at predetermined points to complete Action Sequence events and avoid potential damage. The game also includes an achievement system.
:— Optimus Prime is apparently quick to give up.

"The light rises and shadows are gone. There's a thin line between being a hero, and being a memory. I am Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots."
:— Optimus Prime assembles an ending monologue from fortune cookie quotes.

Notes
Continuity notes
* Much of the cast of Human Alliance returns for Shadows Rising, this time accompanied by (most of) the Dinobots.
* The Decepticon warships and fighters from Dark of the Moon also reappear in the game.
* The M1 Abrams Decepticons from Dark of the Moon appear as enemy units.
* KSI, which was introduced in Age of Extinction, appears during the East China stage.

Transformers references
* The assortment of enemy units are now joined by Seekers. And as is time-worn tradition, the Seekers are (obviously) recolors of Starscream.
* Just like in the previous game, various action scenes emulate those in the movies, such as Sideswipe bisecting one of his clones like he bisected Sideways in Revenge of the Fallen.
* The control room of the Decepticon warship Jake, Vanessa, and the Autobots board resembles that of Lockdown's Knight Ship.
* While never identified as such (the intro tag just labeling him as "Unidentified Unit"), the Optimus clone in the final stage is meant to be a version of Age of Extinction Nemesis Prime, down to the blue flame details.
* Optimus's quote about being a hero or being a memory was said by his G1 counterpart back in "More than Meets the Eye, Part 3".

Real-life references
Errors
* You don't need to be an English major to know "We never never surrender" is both a double-negative and a pretty poor thing to shout when you're trying to encourage your troops.
* Megatron is somehow back to using his Revenge of the Fallen body. And despite utilizing KSI technology to amass himself an army of Decepticons, he still hadn't attempted to fix his head wound from the same film.

It's not that Spacewarp tries to be arrogant... it's just that she's really good. Really quite good at what she does, and she won't let you forget it. A gifted flier with a space-capable alternate mode, Spacewarp fancies herself as a swashbuckling adventurer. There's nowhere in the galaxy that she won't go, no planet or culture too weird for her to explore. Spacewarp's inseparable Mini-Con companion Foldspace keeps her company during her long voyages. More recently, she's teamed up with the Interstellar Marauders, capable of combining into the Transwarp Blaster. Her "crew" keeps her company on her lonely voyages through uncharted territory.

Although she's nominally a Decepticon, she's often found herself performing good deeds on her travels. She's admitted a grudging respect for the Autobots, once you can get past their holier-than-thou attitude and their tendency to judge Decepticons on sight.

With a cy-gar in her mouth and the power of the Transwarp Blaster on her side, there's nothing in the universe that she fears.

Fiction
Ask Vector Prime
In Aurex 006.0 Kappa, Spacewarp rescued Foldspace from the clutches of Maxa Q, thus earning his loyalty. She got her hands on the Maelstrom Exchequer on planet Sargasso, then used it as the buy-in for a high-stakes game of Triad being held on Monacus. Despite playing against such powerhouses as Initial T, Lord Delerious, Senator Feh'd of the Dominion of Mirtonia, the Blood Tyrant Gastrathrameferous III of Shi-La, Mobedyar Daggerthrust the Lesser of Vestum Minor, and Sideways, she managed to bluff her way to victory, earning the Transwarp Blaster as her prize.

With the help of Foldspace, she was able to break the Interstellar Marauders Mini-Con Team out of their stasis lock with proton energy, enabling them to once again exist as individuals. Boom Tube, Starburst, and Jump Drive pledged their loyalty to her in gratitude.

This crew went on to menace Vector Prime while he was attempting to aid Primus in warding off the dark matter spewing forth from the Unicron Singularity. Despite having no innate ability to travel through time or dimensions, she was able to lock on to Vector Prime and follow him when he attempted such maneuvers. Ask Vector Prime#Facebook

Spacewarp's Log
In her youth, Spacewarp was a far more innocent bot, naïve to the ways of the universe. She originally worked for Megatron as a long-distance scout, although thousands of years of being alone had already caused her to start questioning Decepticon extremism. On one mission, she was tasked with tracking a group of Mini-Con deserters. The trail led her to Tasmos, where she encountered a holographic fleet of ships and Medulus- an organic alien who had abandoned his physical body along with the other Tasmians. The Tasmians provided her with some upgrades, although she declined to talk about just how they'd upgraded her body. Ask Vector Prime

Spacewarp was stranded for several million years on the war-torn planet of Purgatory, where she turned the perpetual war in favour of the Gadreel. Ask Vector Prime

Spacewarp had many adventures between the end of the Powerlinx Battles and the beginning of the Unicron Singularity crisis. On one of her more notable adventures, she encountered Dinosaur Ace and Gorilla Ambrosius, defenders of the planet S'elar. The three teamed up to take down the nefarious Prince Diabolicus, who had cursed the sector with a Chrono-Hex. Spacewarp would cross paths with Dinosaur Ace later on. Ask Vector Prime

Another time, she encountered Thunderblast, Ransack and Crumplezone in the Spensifax system. The two fem-bots stole the schematics for a RISK, and wound up on the run from the two dimwitted Velocitronians. Spacewarp eventually got away with the plans, and Thunderblast patched things up with her friends. Ask Vector Prime

On Dykayra, Spacewarp stumbled across a Cybertronian cult who worshipped the "Ultimate Warrior". One thing led to another, and before long she found herself tied up as part of a ritual sacrifice to their living god. Spacewarp managed to bluff her way out of this sticky situation by demanding to face the Ultimate Warrior in combat. After turning the Ultimate Warrior's flock against him, Spacewarp fled the scene but bumped into Fracture's ship before she could escape. Ask Vector Prime

After a misadventure on Tetra Gar, Spacewarp bummed around on Serton for a while. The native robots begged her to investigate rumors of sea monsters kidnapping the locals. Spacewarp discovered the ruined city of Sertlantia, which had been repurposed into a base by a group of rogue Insecticons. Their leader, Chromhorn, was attempting to salvage the Temporal Analysis & Replication Dampening Interference Subjugator using kdinapped slaves. Spacewarp tricked him into merging with the machine, ending the menace. She got a useful Sertlantian time window out of the adventure. Ask Vector Prime

On another adventure, Spacewarp was tracking down Pya'dorus the Pitiless, a search which took her to Tharkoros II. She discovered that Pya'dorus had made a deal with the native Clonemasters to create thousands of duplicates of himself. Realizing that she needed to find the original, she headed to the Clonemaster's sanctum. There, she deiscovered that Pya'dorus had created a remote-controlled clone of Spacewarp, forcing the Decepticon to battle against her doppelganger. Spacewarp triumphed after tricking her doppelganger into smashing the cloning apparatus. The thousands of Pya'dorus clones developed sentience and immediately began trying to off one another and the Clonemasters. Spacewarp was unmoved by the Clonemaster's protests that she'd ruined their civilization. Ask Vector Prime

While in the Moldavite system, Spacewarp worked as a mercenary. While patrolling the planet Pellucidus, she discovered a secret civilization of subterranean Moldavites inhabiting the lost world of Inner Pellucidus. She was taken hostage by Teximite Morbidius and his warband of rowdy bugboys. Before they could hang her, she was resuced by a group of Valkyries and brought back to their queen, the Autobot Chromia Transformers: Spacewarp's Log Spacewarp dueled the Autobot, but wound up rescuing her. The two opted to join forces in their fight against the bugboys, deposing Teximite and brokering peace between the male and female Moldavites. Using some gurunium, the two Cybertronians escaped the inner world and returned to the surface. Transformers: Spacewarp's Log

On another adventure, Hourglass sent her to 31st century Earth. There, she encountered King Arthur and the Spectral Knights, who were waging war against the Inhumanoids and Darkling Lords. Although they believed her to be an enemy at first, Spacewarp and the Spectral Knights formed alliance. Using her alternate mode, she ferried Ramak and Galadria up to the moon, where they rescued the twin infants of the Lunarian Queen Mahina from the Darkling Lord Braxe. Transformers: Spacewarp's Log

While on the planet Regalis III, what should have been a simple trip to buy some black market power converters turned into a battle to save the galaxy, pitting Spacewarp against a crazed cult intent on opening a portal to another dimension. Spacewarp saved the day, but she had to pay full price for the converters. Transformers: Spacewarp's Log

On the steampunk world of Varus VI, Spacewarp found herself on the wrong end of a local mob boss. It looked like the end for her, but she was saved by Odysseus, a human hero who had attained immortality through a series of improbable adventures. Transformers: Spacewarp's Log

Spacewarp was searching for the enigmatic Bombshell when she flew too close to a black hole. Foldspace's quick thinking saved them both from being crushed, but unbeknownst to either they had emerged in a different universe in the 22nd century. When they returned to where Cybertron should have been, they discovered a rocky planet in its place. Before she could process this, Spacewarp was attacked and nearly shot down by a nearby Ejoornian ship, only to be saved by a group of primitive-looking mechanoids. They introduced themselves as the Terrakors, and as thanks Spacewarp carried them and their human companions back down to the planet, which they called Skalorr. They filled the Decepticon in on their history, and Spacewarp noted that as a Decepticon, she felt a kinship with the villainous cyborgs. Before she could find a way back to her home reality, however, she was double-crossed by the Terrakor leader Nemesis! The Terrakor's human allies pinned down Foldspace, while she herself was surrounded by the Terrakors.

Although Foldspace managed to escape and fly away, the Terrakors dragged Spacewarp to an abandoned laboratory, intending to dissect her and use her as spare parts. Before Tyrannix and Gaxon could begin the procedure, the heroic Protectons, whom Foldspace had convinced to help, intervened, easily defeating the Terrakors. Spacewarp, Foldspace, and the Protectons retreated back to the ruined city of Zanadon. Once again, Spacewarp tried to leave- but this time, the Compu-Core, the source of all Robotix, had malfunctioned. Unable to live with the guilt of letting two sentient races die on her watch, Spacewarp pledged to help repair the Compu-Core with parts from a nearby computer lab. Spacewarp and Bront guarded the lab while Nara and the humans investigated. They discovered, however, that the Terrakors had reached the lab first, and had turned its machinery against the Protectons! Transformers: Spacewarp's Log

Spacewarp helped repulse the Terrakors from the lab, but damaged her engines in the process. And without the right tools to replace the circuit sphere, the Protectons would need to search elsewhere. The team set up camp for the night, only to be attacked by over a dozen ape-like mutants, who took Sphero and Bront hostage. Spacewarp and Tauron managed to sneak in and spring the duo from the clutches of the monsters. On returning to Zanador, the group discovered that Argus- leader of the Protectons- and the skeleton crew they'd left behind had been ambushed by the full force of the Terrakors. Luckily, Spacewarp's engines had repaired themselves overnight, and her airborne alternate mode helped turn the tide. After the Compu-Core was repaired, Spacewarp finally managed to leave Skalorr behind, but not without wishing Argus and his forces well in their continuing battles against the Terrakors. She managed to return to her native dimension after a wild adventure involving all sorts of bizarre characters (but she assured us it'd be nothing we find interesting). Transformers: Spacewarp's Log

Once she ended up in Axiom Nexus, she took a job as a fill-in host for ANN's Ask Vector Prime column until such time as she could bamboozle her way off-world. Among her exploits include getting Armored Corps drunk so she could rob him. On another adventure, she helped her friend Treadbolt bamboozle local crime boss B'hgdad, stealing a mythical Bird statue for herself. Ask Vector Prime She, Treadbolt, and Strika were known to hit the town together. Ask Vector Prime

After the Shroud wrecked dimensional travel, Axiom Nexus expedited visas for space-capable travellers like Spacewarp and she took the chance to fly off. Soon after being voted the second-best guest host of Ask Vector Prime, she agreed to report on her exploits exploring the galaxy to ANN. This was to be of great value to Axiom Nexus's stellar cartographers (and for ratings). Ask Vector Prime#Facebook

Spacewarp's Log earned her loadsamoney and a safe harbour in Axiom Nexus! A series of adventures and recaps of multiverse-hopping adventures ensued, including saving Vector Prime, Scorpia, and Galaxy Shuttle one time. In the end, rescuing Galaxy Shuttle a second time led her to an ancient, dying crystalline alien called Physis, who wished to be euthanized before Parthinian Raiders could exploit it. In return for this service, she was given a brief portal in which she could return home to her own universe. Spacewarp and her Minicons debated over whether to abandon all their friends in this universe or never see their home again... Transformers: Spacewarp's Log

Transformers: Human Alliance is an arcade rail shooter developed by Sega and released in 2013, based on the live action films. The game can be played with one or two players, and was available in a standard cabinet with a 42" screen, or a "Theater" version with a 55" screen.

Gameplay
The sole controls used in the game are the mounted gun turrets, which allow for continuous fire when the trigger is pulled. The screen display shows the player’s health bar in both bottom corners, and the colored targeting cursor that moves with the turret to show where you are aiming. Hitting targets continuously will increase the player’s combo ranking (You can chain higher combos by also hitting destructible items, such as barrels and crates.) In a 2-Player game, you can also trigger “Alliance Fire!” mode by crossing the targeting cursors, causing the accompanying Autobot to add their firepower to yours.

Certain opponents will appear with a green/red outline around them, which indicates an incoming, unavoidable attack. The enemy must be defeated before a certain amount of time passes, or else the player suffers damage. This is made harder when there are groups of enemies on the screen, as you have to judge which enemies to take out first. Players will also come across a blue tinted opponent, indicating they are carrying an energon cube. Killing this enemy will add the energon to your Autobot, also triggering “Alliance Fire!” mode, even if it is only a 1-Player game.

Co-op Battles will occur between you and one or more opponents. You assist your Autobot companion by shooting out targeted weak points on their opponent. If you succeed, the Autobot will be victorious, but if you fail they will be beaten back and player(s) will take damage. At the end of this event (which normally lasts at least three rounds) you will be graded on how fast you took out the targets, as well as increasing the “Friendship” between you and the Autobot. There are also Action Sequence events that have you avoiding oncoming obstacles or attacks, either by precise timing with the Start button, or moving the gun turret in the correct direction when prompted.

Boss battles also occur at the end of the stage. In these scenarios, certain weak points are highlighted on the enemy, indicating where to shoot to cause them damage and reduce their health bar at the top of the screen – If all the points aren’t hit within the given time, the player takes damage instead. These circled points also appear to indicate incoming attacks, which the player needs to destroy or else take damage. Your Autobot companion will also get into trouble during the battle, and if you successfully assist them it will increase your “Friendship” score. Once the boss’s health bar has been depleted, the battle ends, normally concluding the stage.

At the end of each stage, each player is given a grade on their performance – The lowest being E, the highest being “S” – and the "Friendship" meter is displayed showing how well the player(s) worked together with the Autobots in the form of a percentage. The higher the percentage, the more the player’s life gauge refills.

Synopsis
Stage 1: East America
Outside of the city, Bumblebee and NEST agent Vanessa escort the civilian Jake, who is carrying the Device with him. Jake’s call to Sam Witwicky is suddenly cut off, and numerous Decepticons begin to pursue them along the highway. Bumblebee arms the humans with guns to help them fight back, but even with the assistance of NEST and Optimus Prime, the three are cornered by drones under the command of Starscream.

The team attempts to flee, but Starscream forces them off the road by throwing a tanker truck at them. Outside of a nearby factory, Starscream once again corners them and attacks, the humans joining Bumblebee in fighting back. Saving their Autobot friend from Starscream’s grasp, the Decepticon grabs them briefly before they blast their way free, but in doing so Jake drops the Device which is promptly stolen by Laserbeak. They continue to fight off Starscream’s attacks until Optimus Prime shows up, plowing into the scheming Decepticon and ending the fight. Though Optimus threatens him, Starscream has already won; retrieving the Device from Laserbeak, they both depart.

Stage 2: England Central City
Investigating the epicentre of an earthquake, NEST is ambushed by drones under the Command of Soundwave. Vanessa and Jake, now accompanied by Sideswipe, respond to the team’s request for back up, taking on the numerous drones. However the enemy’s numbers soon prove too much to handle and Sideswipe is forced into a tunnel, with Soundwave himself giving chase. Despite some impressive (And in Jake’s case, stomach churning) acrobatics, Soundwave catches up to them as they reach a bridge, forcing the Autobot to take on both him and Laserbeak. With some human assistance, Sideswipe is victorious and the group finish crossing the bridge.

Moving at high speed through the city, they take on more pursuing drones from both the land and the sky. NEST headquarters radios in to confirm the presence of another Decepticon, at which point a tank rolls into view and fires a barrage of missiles. Sideswipe manages to survive the assault, the tank transforming into Brawler who promptly releases another volley of missiles. The team take out the missile turrets one at a time, but Brawler simply tosses Sideswipe aside, now focusing his fury on Vanessa and Jake. Eventually the hefty Decepticon is brought down by the human’s attack. Optimus Prime appears, demanding to know if the Decepticons are behind the earthquake, but Brawler succumbs to his injuries before Optimus can get any information out of him.

Stage 3: North Africa Desert
Vanessa and Jake accompany Optimus Prime to Africa, following the source of the earthquakes. When they arrive the town appears to be deserted, until they realize they have walked directly into an ambush. Despite the Autobot’s best efforts, the humans have to fend off everything from mechanical buzzards to hordes of creepy insects before Optimus helps them make their getaway over the city’s rooftops. But no sooner that they reach the outskirts of the city the ground rips up before them, and they are confronted by Shockwave.

Optimus transforms and flees, taking the humans into the desert while pursued by Shockwave and an army of drones. Before they can be overwhelmed, Sideswipe appears to add his support, but Shockwave eventually gets ahead of the Prime, forcing him into a one-on-one conflict. With the human’s help Optimus prevails, but Shockwave escapes before he can be finished off and they are once again forced to flee from the drones and the colossal and heavily armed Scorponok King. A hectic chase results in the beastly Decepticon being (literally) disarmed and brought down, Optimus impaling it with its own tail to finish it off. Sideswipe catches up to the group just as they recover the Device, which is revealed to be the cause of the global quakes, and Optimus realizes that Megatron has led them on a wild goose chase.

Stage 4: USA West Coast
The Decepticons have launched a massive assault on a West Coast city. As a squadron of NEST fighter jets accompany Optimus, Bumblebee and their human companions, Vanessa seems shocked at the carnage, but Jake seems unusually confident… Right up until parts start falling off their stolen Decepticon fighter. Optimus splits from the group as Bumblebee flies the humans through the city, taking out several other fighters sent to intercept them. Their good fortune doesn’t last however, when their squadron is attacked by Skywarp, forcing them deeper into the city. Optimus eventually rejoins them and, despite Skywarp’s impressive skills in teleportation, he is no match for the Prime and the human’s coordinated attacks and is easily killed.

Optimus covers the rear as Bumblebee takes point into the depths of the city. They soon catch up with the Decepticon ship, and are confronted by a goading Megatron. Prime demands answers for all that has gone on, but Megatron seems more interested in the humans and attacks Bumblebee’s ship. Optimus and Megatron start to duke it out as the warship launches missile after missile at Bumblebee’s fighter, causing Jake more distress with his weak stomach. Jake spots and entrance into the warship and the team blast their way inside for cover. After clearing out a wave of drones, Vanessa takes note of the energon nodes and they promptly go to work destroying them to cripple the ship. Before they can take out the last one, Starscream makes his reappearance, almost taking the head’s off the human’s before being blasted back into the node. The ship explodes, but Jake’s celebration is cut short by an abrupt transmission from Optimus, asking them to converge on his and Megatron’s position.

Stage 5: Canadian Frontier
Bumblebee and his human companions crash land somewhere in Canada, having followed Optimus’ signal. Instead of their leader, they find Megatron who gloats that Optimus is already dead. He then directs their attention to the nearby energon tower, and boasts that its power will win him not only Earth, but Cybertron as well… But not before he finally finishes off Jake and Vanessa.

Megatron gives chase both in the air and on the ground, and with the energon tower interfering with Bumblebee’s capabilities, it is up to the human’s to fend off the Decepticon leader as best they can. Things are made even more complicated when Megatron summons the other drones to attack, eventually corralling them. Brought to a halt, Megatron simply tosses Bumblebee aside and is all set to terminate the humans. Suddenly he is blasted away, and Megatron is shocked to see it is a very much alive Optimus, who vows to end Megatron’s plan. The two clash once again, Jake and Vanessa now able to add their firepower to the mix and together, the three of them bring Megatron to his knees and defeat him.

Before they can finish off Megatron, another earthquake shakes the whole area. Vanessa notes that the energon tower has gone out of control, with Bumblebee adding that its power will destroy the entire Earth. NEST back up arrives in the form of Sideswipe and a squadron of troopers, and Optimus orders everyone to destroy the tower before it is too late. The threat is finally over, but Jake quickly notices that Megatron has made his escape. Optimus notes in a message that the battle with the Decepticons will continue, and that as long as they are on Earth, no harm will come to the human race.
Notes
Continuity notes
* The game takes place between the events of Revenge of the Fallen and Dark of the Moon.
* Though he makes no appearance throughout the game, Sam Witwicky is referenced twice in the game.
* Vanessa works for NEST, and other soldiers from the group often assist you in-game.
* Jake mentions Sam’s pet Chihuahua Mojo when confronted with the Ravage drones.
* Megatron sports the head wound given to him by Optimus during the final battle in Revenge of the Fallen. He notes during the West Coast City stage that he wants to pay Optimus back for this wound.

Transformers references
* The drones are all based off of existing Decepticons from the movie series. The only odd one out is the Motorcycle Drone, which shares some design cues from Revenge of the Fallen Arcee.
* Brawler and Scorponok King’s appearancesare based off of their dead predecessors Brawl and Scorponok, respectively.
* Soundwave attacks with tentacles like in Dark of the Moon, though his vehicle mode is not a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, but a generic design with the logo on the front.
* Though this is not Skywarp’s first appearance in movie related media, it is the first time he has displayed the teleportation powers of his Generation One counterpart.
* Optimus’ flight pack is based off of the design featured in Dark of the Moon, making this its first in-continuity appearance.
* Throughout the game, various action scenes emulate those in the first three movies:
** During the highway chase, Bumblebee transforms and catches the players to avoid the tanker, similar to the highway chase in Dark of the Moon.
** Sideswipe taking out Brawler’s missile pods is similar to how Jazz takes out Brawl’s in the first movie.
** The chase through the desert with the Scorponok drones is similar to the desert chase in the first movie, albeit with far, far more Scorponok this time.
** Skywarp’s attack on the NEST fighter planes is similar to how Starscream took out the F-22’s in the first movie.
* The Decepticon warship and fighters are all exactly the same as the ones in Dark of the Moon.
* The energon tower bares a passing resemblance to the Sun Harvester from Revenge of The Fallen.

Real-life references
* The game’s stages remain very generic throughout the game, only naming which country they reside in, but some of the cities are based off of real world locations:
** England Central City is clearly based off of London, and even features Big Ben and Tower Bridge.
** North Africa Desert features a village similar to the one in Egypt featured in Revenge of the Fallen. An unnamed pyramid also features in the background.
** USA West Coast is based off of Chicago, particularly with the Decepticon invasion, though Chicago is nowhere near the country’s West Coast.

Errors
* Bumblebee talks! Though obviously added for the purposes of in-game dialogue (And possible rights issues), Bumblebee hasn’t spoken since the end of the first movie, and it is established he is still having issues with his vocal processor.
* Though not necessarily an error, the presence of the warship and the fighters is very out of place in the continuity, as these particular designs match the ones hidden on the dark side of the moon during the third movie. Then again, there’s nothing to say that the Decepticons didn’t already have a ship lying around.

Trivia
* It is never established exactly what the mysterious Device is that Jake is carrying, or where it comes from, or even how the Decepticons use it to cause global earthquakes.
* The game’s official information sheet has conflicting information to what is in the final game; it states the objective of the game is to stop the Decepticons finding the Allspark, which has already been destroyed, and it seems to mix up where in America the first and fourth stages are based.
* The dialogue is incredibly cheesy, apparently a trait with many Sega made shooters.
Transformers Universe is a free to play browser based massively online tactical action game, or MOTA set to begin in 2014. It is being developed by Jagex and it is set in the Prime universe. Gamers can choose to be an Autobot or a Decepticon and choose their class, while gameplay is very team-based. The game will feature Prime characters as well as introduce new ones like Prowl and Barricade.
Notes
*2012 attendees were able to reserve their in-game name at the convention.
* The game has gone through a couple of genre shifts. Initially slated to be released as an MMORPG with multiple classes and conventional character creation, but the difficulty of customizing robots was cited as part of the reasoning in changing it to the quickly expanding MOBA genre. Right. It has since been declared to be a massively online, tactical action game by Mark Gerhard, CEO/CTO of Jagex.
* On April 25th, 2014, Founders Packs were revealed, along with founder exclusive bonuses and new characters. Each increasingly expensive pack, from Bronze to "Cybernite", grants a three day head start to play the game and various in game bonuses, in addition to season passes of various lengths of time and exclusive warriors. The most expensive at $449.99 dollars, the Cybernite pack also offers a limited edition ten inch diorama figurine showcasing Showdown and Shellshock in combat. Yeesh.
* Someone named Vectorium is quoted on Anomaly's page on the Transformers Universe website, referring to the green toxic youngster's capabilities in shock. Considering the pattern of the other Transformers Universe bios, all of whom quote pre-existing characters of the same faction, Vectorium is likely another Autobot. Autobot Macro's bio page, while not quoting another Transformer, does quote the Autobot aligned Agent William Fowler.
Appearances can be deceiving, and no Autobot proves that adage like Overclock. He may be sleek curves and traffic stopping looks on the outside, but he’s no pushover when it comes to combat – This master spy is armed with everything from time-bending lasers to starship-grade artillery.
When the battle’s raging, this short fused Autobot is just as likely to take a few shots at Decepticons with his built-in defibrillator than he is heal up his allies.
As Shockwave has noted, Derail is unafraid of death. Frankly, he's not afraid of anything. This doesn't make him stupid, however. An explosives expert who stores his gear in his considerably large and armored altmode, Derail is fully aware of the fact that his allies could be blown to bits just as easily as his enemies and gladly heals his comrades right up. Winning the war is a team effort, and he's a team player.
