"As ominous as a storm cloud and as chilling as a winter breeze." Not everyone could make Dead End look like a rainbow by comparison, but Dreadwind manages just that. After all, Dead End just depresses himself, but Dreadwind manages to export the feeling to everyone around him. Like a bad case of Scraplets, Dreadwind's gloom is contagious and there's no mood so positive that he can't kill it within moments of entering the room. Mournful and doom-laden at the best of times, Decepticons avoid him socially and Autobots avoid him on the battlefield, leaving Dreadwind wracked with loneliness and despair.

He tends to think that he has no friends, but the truth is that he couldn't have a more perfect match than his partner Darkwing, and the two are fairly inseparable. He gets along less well with his binary-bonded Nebulan Powermaster partner Hi-Test, a villainous, overachieving perfectionist who tries to bully Dreadwind into enjoying their evil acts.

Dreadwind has an exceptionally primitive nervous system, rendering him immune to most pain except, ironically, existential pain.
Generation 1
noteukonly

Dreadwind and Darkwing came to Nebulos in search of Scorponok's group of Decepticons, but they had by then moved on to Earth. Furthermore, they were warned by the scientist Hi-Q that if they stayed on Nebulos, they would perish, as the Nebulans had poisoned their world's entire fuel supply to prevent another war with the Transformers from occurring. Dreadwind and Darkwing ignored this request, and eventually they lanquished on the brink of permanent shutdown.

Hi-Q's jealous protege, Hi-Test, and his accomplice Throttle offered Dreadwind and his partner salvation, by way of Powermaster technology stolen from Hi-Q. The dying Decepticon duo reluctantly agreed, and, restored, they began destroying Nebulos once again. Hi-Q and his scientists were forced to undergo the Powermaster process themselves, binary bonding with Optimus Prime and a few others. Ultimately, Dreadwind and Darkwing were forced off Nebulos. People Power!

Dreadwind, Darkwing, and their Powermaster partners eventually found themselves working for the Mecannibals at Grand Central Space Station, wrangling not only clients, but robots for the Mecannibals to devour. They discovered that two of their clients, Landmine and Cloudburst, were actually robots disguised as humans, and turned them in to their hungry bosses. Guess Who the Mecannibals Are Having for Dinner? The Autobots-in-disguise made a savory deal with the Mecannibals, and so Dreadwing and Darkwing followed them to Femax. In the process, however, they were not only beaten up by Sky Lynx, but Hi-Test and Throttle's ship was discovered to be Dreadwind and Darkwing, robots themselves. Cloudburst and Landmine snitched, and the Mecannibals angrily chased the pair and their Powermaster Partners across the cosmos. Recipe for Disaster!

After losing the Mecannibals, Dreadwind and Darkwing were recruited in secret by Megatron to bring him the corpse of the Underbase-destroyed Starscream. They found him in southern Peru, where his zombie body stalked the Earth, somehow animated past death by the remainder of the Underbase's energies. They successfully retrieved the corpse, despite a tangle with the Triggerbots and archaeologist Susan Hoffman. Race with the Devil The corpse was delivered to Megatron on Cybertron, who had recently abducted the Autobot medical officer Ratchet to exhort him into rebuilding Starscream using Pretender technology. The Resurrection Gambit! But Ratchet doublecrossed Megatron, unleashing his own Pretender army, and the battle, involving Dreadwind, Darkwing, the Pretender Classics, and the Micromaster Sports Car Patrol, spread outside Megatron's headquarters, moments before the headquarters detonated with Ratchet and Megatron still inside. Skin Deep Feeling like losers, Dreadwind and Darkwing chose to drink away their sorrows at Maccadam's Old Oil House. The Mecannibals followed them to the pub, eating their way past Rocky, the bouncer. The Mecannibals immediately began tearing up the joint, with the pair of inebriated Decepticons blissfully unaware of the chaos around them. Luckily, Quickswitch was present and leapt into action. After a brief skirmish, Quickswitch used his tunneling mode to bury the Mecannibals alive deep underground. Out to Lunch!

The two were summoned by Primus to face Unicron, though Dreadwing spent the speech telling funny anecdotes to Darkwing, annoying everyone around them. The Void! (US) When the Chaos Bringer attacked, Dreadwing realised that attacking would likely mean they'd die a horrible death but didn't seem too bothered about that. On the Edge of Extinction! Though they survived, the pair was even more mopey than usual, and on their way to a joint Autobot/Decepticon conference to discuss the imminent demise of their homeworld, Dreadwind was hit on the noggin by a large piece of falling debris. Exodus! Dreadwind was shaken, but survived to escape Cybertron on a starship with several other Decepticons led by Bludgeon, stranding the Autobots behind to die. Finally, when the Autobots managed to follow the Decepticons to Klo, the Decepticons ambushed them upon their arrival. Dreadwind and Darkwing, combined as Dreadwing, picked off some of the last remaining Autobots, including Getaway. However, their victory was halted by the divine intervention of the Last Autobot, and the wounded remnants of the Decepticon army fled Klo to parts unknown. {{storylink|End of the Road! Dreadwind and Hi-Test answered the Transformers fanmail for, like, forever! When his time came, he refused to leave, and holed himself up in the Marvel offices. He was finally evicted by Blaster who complained that Dreadwind had decorated the office in all purple and orange with a solitary picture of a dog with sad eyes.

Dreadwind was among Bludgeon's decimated Decepticon forces when they followed Grimlock and his Dinobots to Hydrus Four, hoping to steal the power of Nucleon for themselves. Dreadwind helped ambush the rogue Dinobots, using a device called a Holocaust Trigger to unleash discordant light and sound, overwhelming their equilibrium. When Grimlock was freed by a rescue team hours later, however, Dreadwind walked in at just the wrong time and was shot by Grimlock using Crankcase's concussion blaster. He and the remnants of the Decepticon army under Bludgeon were defeated. Another Time and Place

Classics
After the battle on Klo, Dreadwind stayed under the command of Bludgeon, who in turn assigned Dreadwind to Bug Bite's subcommand. At some point, Hi-Test was disarmed (no, really) by Grimlock, a turn of events that Dreadwind suspects Hi-Test was fine with, so long as his death meant they didn't have to continue being partners. Dreadwind, like Weirdwolf, was subsequently rebuilt by Bug Bite in order to accomodate the loss of their Nebulans. Games of Deception

After the disastrous battle with Megatron, Dreadwind escaped with the critically-damaged Weirdwolf and the apparently-dead Bug Bite, bringing them both back to their ship. Dreadwind stuffed Weirdwolf into a CR chamber, then sat down and moped. When a group of extradimensional visitors arrived looking for Bug Bite, Dreadwind glumly assumed they were some of Megatron's crew out to kill him. When that turned out not to be the case, and the "dead" Bug Bite turned out to be very much alive, he grumped a lot while being largely ignored. Withered Hope

After the Battle at Thunderhead Pass, Darkwing and Dreadwind were seen working with Razorclaw, advancing on the Autobots' position on Cybertron shortly before the planet was declared completely uninhabitable. Spotlight: Blaster

Dreadwind was a part of Darkwing's Infiltration unit on Nebulos when the planet was ravaged by a resurrected, supernaturally-powerful Thunderwing. Stormbringer issue 2 Darkwing ordered Dreadwind and the other Decepticons under his command to try to stop Thunderwing before he blew up the planet, which would ruin their long-reaching plans to harvest its natural resources, but all but Dreadwind, Darkwing, and Thrust were annihilated. They fled the planet, fearful of Megatron's reaction to their failure. Stormbringer issue 3

Commercial appearances
Dreadwind and Darkwing show up in several commercials:

* They appeared first, of course, in commercials for the Powermasters. This footage was chopped up and used in several different-but-similar Powermasters commercials, and focused on the new Optimus Prime, the non-Prime Autobot and Decepticon Powermasters, or their appearance in Marvel Comics.
* They appeared again in the animated introduction to the first Pretenders commercial. The narration claims that a series of defeats forces the Autobots to develop Pretender technology, and as the Pretenders rise from their operating tables, Dreadwind and Darkwing break in and approach them. (The Pretenders are considerably smaller than Dreadwind and Darkwing, lending evidence to the idea that the commercials' Pretenders are human-sized.)
* Later, they're the victims of the new Micromasters. Optimus Prime unleashes an army of Micromasters upon a Decepticon base, they slip past the guard, and once inside they crawl up both Dreadwind and Darkwing and overwhelm them.
* Footage from the first commercial, depicting Dreadwind and Darkwing in vehicle mode chasing Getaway and Joyride in vehicle mode, was used at the beginning of the commercial for the Triggerbots and Triggercons. This animation seemed to be meant to represent these other toys. Don't pay too close attention, kids!
His inner robot head has been retooled to resemble his original toy's head.

: Like Jetfire, Dreadwind comes with a number of removable accessories, including a booster pack, two arm-mounted missile launchers, two missiles, and a helmet. The toy's add-on booster pack has flip-out reveal cannons. As with most Classics toys, he features a heat-sensitive rubsign.

: There were 1500 Classics Dreadwind figures produced.

I think that the Wiki can and should include some fandom-specific information that isn't directly related to Transformers. For example, we should eventually have an article for each BotCon/OTFCC convention. We should have an entry for FIRRIB. I think Jam falls under the same umbrella. Obviously there should be some limit to how obscure/irrelevant a meme we include, but Jam, for instance, has highly-visible exposure on Ben Yee's site, so I think it is worth including. --Steve-o 16:55, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
I agree that we should have entries for each BotCon/OTFCC, because the convention is officially supported by Hasbro (even though this was admittedly not always the case. I would argue that the fact that these conventions gained official status grants legitimacy to the pre-official conventions to at least the degree where I'm comfortable with them being on this Wiki, though). I don't think that FIRRIB or the JaAm comics, as strictly fan-based endeavors, should be here, though. At the very least, if we do include them, we need to set up guidelines detailed the criteria under which non-official entries should be permitted.--[[User:G.B. Blackrock|G.B. :I think JAam is a perfectly cromulent subject for this Wiki. Like Hot Shot, my shoulders often hurt, and I wonder Why- WHY was I created to feel pain? I think this JaAm article should stay. Personal webpages can come and go, and there was a considerable length of time during which the JaAm comic wasn't available, but all these references to JaAm were, causing me to say, 'WhAt jAam?'. All those references are still out there, buried in Usenet archives, forum discussions, and things like the BWTF rating system. One thing this encyclopedia can do is help to understand the meanings of weird things like this without having to say 'My life is pain'. At least it would give everybody somewhere stable to direct people to when they wanted to know what was going on. - Autobus Prime
He was created by Unicron from the remains of a dead Decepticon. Immensely powerful like all the Unicronian Decepticons, arrogance is his only true weakness. Despite being quite powerful in his own right, Scourge generally acts as a near subordinate to Cyclonus, and, despite his leadership of the Sweeps, is generally content to take orders from others. Scourge tends to grumble and complain a bit (a habit sometimes shared by his Sweeps).

But then again, you'd also complain if your boss spent so much time beating you up, wouldn't you? His Targetmaster partner is Fracas.
Following the Battle of Autobot City in 2005, Scourge was created from the remains of Thundercracker by Unicron. Scourge was designated commander of his legion of huntsmen, the Sweeps, and traveled with his new leader, Galvatron, back to Cybertron. Galvatron, Scourge and Cyclonus then returned to Autobot City and sent the remaining Autobots fleeing into outer space.

After blasting their ship, the Decepticons believed the Autobots dead. Unicron sent a painful message to Galvatron, informing him he was wrong. Galvatron argued the point until Scourge reminded his leader "we belong to him". The Decepticons then tracked the Autobots to the Planet of Junk where Scourge and the Sweeps dismembered Ultra Magnus and stole the Matrix of Leadership. Unicron learned of Galvatron's intended rebellion and attacked Cybertron. Whether Scourge, who was vocally loyal to Unicron, fought to protect Cybertron is unknown. The Transformers: The Movie

After the Decepticons were sent packing to Chaar, Cyclonus and Scourge went on an expedition to track down their lost leader, Galvatron, who hadn't been seen since Unicron went kablooey. Five Faces of Darkness, Part 1 They found Galvatron soaking in a lava pit on Thrull, and much to their disappointment, discovered their leader had gone totally nuts. Scourge and his Sweeps were working with Galvatron and Cyclonus to hunt Rodimus Prime, when they came across the Autobot Mausoleum in deep space. Infiltrating the space barge, they continued their attack on the Autobots until Optimus Prime himself rose from the grave to fight back. Scourge and his huntsmen fled before the former Autobot leader, forcing Galvatron and Cyclonus to withdraw as well. Dark Awakening
Scourge and Cyclonus were hunting the Aerialbot called Air Raid for sport, but were caught in an ambush when the other Aerialbots jumped them in an asteroid field. The two Decepticons fled through a nearby vortex and crashed on the peaceful planet known as Paradron. Finding the world rich with energon resources, Scourge and Cyclonus immediately alerted Galvatron to their find and began to plunder the world of energy. Fight or Flee

When Octane took Trypticon to Carbombya without permission, Scourge came with Galvatron and the other Decepticons to chastise the fueler for disobedience. His discovery of super-energon made from Carbombyan oil temporarily assuaged Galvatron's anger, but once the Decepticons were forced out of Carbombya by the Autobots, Galvatron expelled Octane as a traitor to the cause. Thief in the Night Sometime later, Scourge was hunting Octane on Cybertron with Cyclonus and the Sweeps, when their prey fled underground into the Decepticon Crypt. Scourge began to have second thoughts about this until Unicron reminded him that "what I have given you, I can also take away". Scourge eventually left Unicron and rejoined the Decepticons. At one point, Autobot commander Rodimus Prime was separated from the Matrix of Leadership by Galvatron. Galvatron, who was haunted by the spirits within it, instructed Scourge to dispose of the Matrix. Scourge decided to use the power of the Matrix to his advantage and installed it within his chest. Very bad idea. The Matrix proved incompatible with Decepticon programming, causing Scourge to morph into a hideous freak with the power driving him mad. Scourge attempted to seize control of the Decepticons until Hot Rod took back the Matrix. In 2007, the Decepticons stole the key to the Plasma Energy Chamber on Cybertron, and Scourge was set with infiltrating the chamber whilst the other Decepticons performed a full-scale assault on the planet as a diversion. He succeeded, but inserting the key into the chamber led to a plasma energy burst that very nearly killed him. He was saved by an energon infusion from Cyclonus, and was subsequently sent to find the Autobots who had taken the key back while Scourge was unconscious. Together with Cyclonus, Slugslinger, Triggerhappy and Misfire, Scourge tracked the Autobots to Nebulon. The Rebirth, Part 1
After clashing with the brand new Autobot Headmasters and losing badly, Scourge and the others were kidnapped by the Nebulon group known as the Hive, who offered to binary-bond with the Decepticons and increase their power. Scourge chose to become a Targetmaster, getting the loud Nebulan Fracas as his partner, and the Decepticon Headmasters and Targetmasters subsequently attacked and defeated the Autobots. Scourge got the key to the Plasma Energy Chamber back and voiced his desire to destroy the Autobots completely before moving on, only for Fracas to threaten to shoot him unless the Decepticons went back to the Hive as soon as possible. Following Unicron's consumption of Cybertron's moons, Galvatron, Cyclonus and Scourge traveled back in time from 2006 to 1986 as part of a plan to free themselves from Unicron's control by constructing a massive cannon that would destroy him upon their return to the future. The three Unicronian Decepticons proved themselves almost invincible in the face of the Autobots' attacks, though a lucky shot destroyed Scourge's weapon after he had incapacitated Trailbreaker, and Scourge was relatively weaponless (most of his weapons could only be used in vehicle mode). Though he also took down Grapple, Megatron managed to down Scourge and use him as a barganing chip. The duo were attacked by the freelance peace-keeping agent, Death's Head, who was seeking the bounty on Galvatron’s head, and Cyclonus revealed Galvatron’s whereabouts to him. Wanted:Galvatron — Dead or Alive! Later, Shockwave hired Death’s Head to kill Rodimus Prime, but Cyclonus and Scourge interfered with the job as they sought to kill Rodimus first, in order to reclaim their lost standing amongst the Decepticons. Headhunt This did not please Death’s Head, and consequently, he willingly accepted a contract from Rodimus to hunt down Cyclonus and Scourge, eventually tracking them down to the planet of Junk as 2008 dawned. Before he could finish the job, however, all three of them fell under the mind-controlling influence of Unicron, whose disembodied head had survived the destruction of his body and had landed on the planet, where he was having the native Junkions construct a new body for him.

Under Unicron's control, Cyclonus and Scourge killed Shockwave and became Decepticon leaders, reigniting the stalemated Cybertronian war to a furious degree to cover Unicron's actions. Death's Head, however, was able to fight the mind control and work with the Autobots long enough to stop the chaos-bringer's plan. As explosions destroyed Unicron, Death's Head tackled Cyclonus and Scourge, pushing them through a time portal Unicron had built, promising to kill them another time. The two Decepticons were hurled into the past of Cybertron by the portal, where they came under the command of Scorponok. The Legacy of Unicron!

Traveling to Nebulos with the rest of Scorponok's forces, they became Targetmasters and then traveled to present day (1988) Earth. Brothers in Armor!! Once there, they sought out Galvatron, and, no longer willing to serve him, instead demanded that he hand over his time travel device so that they could return to the future and their position as Decepticon leaders. The confrontation was disrupted by the sudden appearance of the Autobot commando squad, the Wreckers, who drew the ensuing battle away from the human settlement it was taking place in by professing to have stolen Galvatron's time jump mechanism, when in reality, the Decepticon no longer even had it for them to take. Wrecking Havoc

Having met with failure again, Cyclonus and Scourge decided to cut their losses and team up with Shockwave's present-day Earth-based Decepticon forces.

Unfortunately, Cyclonus accidentally let slip that they would kill Shockwave in the future. Naturally wanting to ensure his continued existence, Shockwave unleashed a brainwashed Megatron clone upon the two. As Megatron killed Nightstick and grappled with Cyclonus, Scourge took aim at the clone...but stopped. He realized that killing Megatron in 1988 would likely prevent Galvatron's creation in 2006, and possibly his own as well. Cyclonus and Scourge’s displacement into the past had circumvented the normal mass-replacement method used by time-travel, and had hence unbalanced the space-time continuum, causing a rift to appear in the fabric of space and time. Cyclonus' death, eighteen years before he was even created, proved to be the final straw, accelerating the rift, which soon threatened to consume Earth and Cybertron. Realizing that the only way to stop it was to return himself, Galvatron and Cyclonus to their original time, Scourge attempted to recover Cyclonus’ body from Shockwave, only to be attacked by the deranged Decepticon, who had lost his mind due to the illogical nature of the situation, and had strung Cyclonus' remains up like a twisted trophy. Scourge staggered back to the time rift and allowed it to take him, hoping that that would have some effect on the situation. It didn't. Ravage, however, succeeded where Scourge had failed, and was able to bring Shockwave back sanity enough for him to deposit Cyclonus’ remains after Galvatron and Scourge, and then seal it with an x-ray blast. Scourge was not seen again after this, and it is unknown exactly what happened to Scourge after he entered the rift. Time Wars
An alternate version of Scourge later made a brief appearance, inhabiting an alternate future world of 2009 where Cybertron had been destroyed and Galvatron ruled Earth. With only seven Autobots left alive, Scourge battled Getaway, Chainclaw and Guzzle during the Autobots' last desperate raid on the Decepticon Powerbase. * It's not known how much (if any) communication there was between Marvel's US office and the UK offices where Simon Furman was churning out his behind-the-scenes stories, but regardless, Cyclonus and Scourge completely disappeared from the US book after Headmasters—leaving Furman free to send them off to find Galvatron. Wrecking Havoc
* For some reason, Scourge's head-mounted cannon was implied to not be a cannon in the comics, as the loss of a handgun in "Target: 2006" apparently left Scourge completely weaponless in robot mode, making transformation a complete necessity.

:Your arugment is sound, but I would definitely have to differ. Before the war, Sideways was a simple courier; in the war against the Autobots, Sideways prefers to team up with larger Decepticons. This way, his target-friendly companion takes all the heat! In fact, he generally shuns combat entirely. He's not a courageous fellow. But when he absolutely must face the enemy, he eagerly deploys the spinning saw blades on his arms.

Since he's arrived on Earth, Sideways has started hanging out with the mountainous Demolishor. There's few larger Decepticons to lurk in the shadow of!
:Deluxe-Class Sideways features Automorph action during the conversion from car to robot mode. When the front bumper is pressed, his front pair of wheels automatically flip underneath the hood. There is also some Mech Alive: you can see internal gears moving in his fore-arms when moving his arms, as well as a turning disk on each of his elbow. On his right arm is a spinning "saw" blade.

:Unlike the other on-screen characters in Revenge of the Fallen who turn into consumer vehicles, Sideways' vehicle mode is merely an approximation of an Audi R8 and is not an accurate replica. This is because the toy vehicle, lacking Audi signage, is unlicensed. This doesn't explain why all versions of Deluxe class Sideways (hand-painted prototypes, test shots and production toys) are missing the black front lid, roof and rear hood seen on Sideways toys of other price points, and the real car. However, all of the toys are missing the unique silver stripes on top of the black areas seen on the APR-tuned Audi R8, which was the car used in the movie.
Ejector is a<s>n evil</s> mischievous Transformer secretly living with three twenty-something humans in an apartment flat. He conceals himself in the form of a 4-slot bread searing machine (a toaster) usually located on the kitchen counter. He has revealed himself only to one of his roommates ("the patsy") and he is now attempting to drive him mad.

Ejector's robot mode is a bipedal robot about 1.5 feet tall with red glowing internal parts (possibly heating elements.) His most distinctive feature is an articulated 'tail' from which he rapidly spins his retractable power plug like a flail. He cannot speak English, but appears to understand it. In toaster mode, he is capable of concealing a small payload within his frame (such as a 20 oz bottle). However, doing so prevents actual toast from being inserted inside of him, and thus partially compromises his disguise.
Fiction
Transformers (2007)
While the Patsy and his other roommates were out, Ejector snuck into the fridge and stole the Patsy's last 20 oz Mountain Dew. When he returned to find it missing, the Patsy reasoned aloud that the toaster must have taken it to aggravate him in increasingly accusatory tones until his roommates intervened to calm him down—whereupon Ejector transformed behind their backs and performed a taunting "touchdown dance", rubbing himself obscenely against the cool and glistening surface of the Dew bottle while the Pasty shrieked in impotent rage.
The Patsy knows his toaster is both alive...and evil. He's seen it moving around, causing trouble when no one else is paying attention—but for some reason he always gets blamed for the toaster's mischief!

The Patsy at least partially doubts his own sanity in the face of the toaster's growing campaign of <s>terror</s> humiliation, and he has begun to construct elaborate logical proofs for Ejector's existence... that fail to convince his roommates, but leave Ejector in stitches.

One of these days, he's going to get that Ejector, yes he will! And then we'll see who the crazy one around here is! Ha! Ha ha ha ha ha...
Oh, God, is he yelling again? Yeah, okay, we'll do something about it...as soon as it's a commercial. Well, not if it's one of those delightful Mac/PC ads...
Rampage is entirely incapable of standing up without support in this mode, but that's what his secondary robot mode is for: his jackhammer splits and his elaborate kibble backpack unfolds, together forming four leg-struts to create a free-standing robot form that is rather centaurian in design. He loves a good explosion that much. Transformers Comic issue 2

Devastator ended up warped to an uninhabited world covered with cities, and out of sheer boredom went around smashing a lot of it before he realized he should try getting off the planet. The mysterious Flame, a power source that drove the planet's inhabitants to murder, tried to influence his mind towards rampaging until his fuel ran out; as he got nearer to it, it created apparitions of the other Decepticons that taunted him for his stupidity and attacked him. This failed to influence him as it would require Devastator to have introspection and care about being stupid - instead, he simply carried on to the Flame and left the planet, showing no interest in anything beyond doing his job. Transformers Comic issue 4

A mere half-hour after Megatron's death and before his body was dumped in the sea, Devastator was resurrected by Starscream as a mindless zombie, a soulless monster that would only destroy. It's what he would've wanted. Transformers Comic issue 7
While Starscream's forces assaulted the Autobots at Tyger Pax, Brawl bashed his way past faltering Autobot defenders, bringing news that Megatron knew where the All Spark was. When Starscream excitedly declared that he must go to the cube, Brawl questioned his loyalty, prompting Bonecrusher to threaten the latter with violence lest he not take the group to Megatron. After witnessing Megatron leave Cybertron to chase after the escaping All Spark, the Decepticons followed.

Crash-landing on Earth many years later, the Decepticons were detected by a nearby US air base, which sent an armoured personnel carrier to investigate. Brawl took the words right out of Bonecrusher's mouth, remaking that at last there was something to kill. Wreckage assumed the form of the carrier vehicle, destroyed it, then led Starscream's unit to the base. Brawl trans-scanned a nearby human tank and joined the others in leveling the base. Transformers Movie Prequel (Target) Volume 2

Brawl arrived in Mission City shortly after Jazz took down Starscream, Blackout and a pair of Dreadwings single-handedly. The Autobot's victory was short-lived... and so was the Autobot, as Brawl punctured Jazz's chest with his claw, extinguishing his spark. Ironhide arrived just in time to witness the killing, and fought through a horde of Decepticon units to destroy Brawl.
Brawl, Bonecrusher and Starscream were hiding out in a human military installation in the desert when they received word that Frenzy and Barricade had discovered the location of the AllSpark. When the three Decepticons mobilized, the two ground-based machines were assaulted by tanks designed to fire holding beams of electrical energy, forcing Starscream to back-and-forth babysit the two Decepticons as they tried to escape.

Brawl later stood by Megatron's side in Washington D.C. after they had retrieved the AllSpark from the destroyed Autobots and had decimated pretty much everything in their path.
Transformers: Autobots
Brawl appears at the Hoover Dam after successfully defusing several bombs intended to free Megatron. As Optimus Prime attempts to rendezvous with the other Autobots, Brawl blocks his only path — a hidden Air Force hangar tunneled into the canyon. He fights with his claw and multitude of guns, and when he's taken enough damage, he will transform into tank mode, being aided by oblivious Sector 7 tanks. Here he becomes nearly invincible, with his only weakness being the tanks fighting alongside him.

Transformers: Decepticons
Brawl first appears in Qatar, where, under the command of a Create-A-Bot, he is commanded to prevent a convoy from entering a nearby village (recognizable by moviegoers as the town where Lennox fought Scorponok) to prevent the humans from getting an upper hand over the N.B.E.s. At the Hoover Dam, he is sent to capture a human tank, which he retrieves intact so as to interrogate the occupant human. Once the interrogation is done, the tank doesn't stay intact long, as he can be seen merrily destroying it while Create-A-Bot converses with Barricade. Later, he faces off against Ironhide in a 1-on-1 street brawl involving an apparent grudge over a past encounter.

Brawl was lying in wait at a military depot when Starscream contacted the Decepticon infiltration team, informing them that the All Spark had been found and they were to move out. Brawl acknowledged that he was in transit and rolled out of the depot. He met up with Barricade and Bonecrusher and hit the highway, though Brawl separated from the group before Barricade and Bonecrusher got on the freeway and met up with Autobot/human convoy.

Arriving at Mission City in the aftermath of Starscream's opening attack on the Autobots and their human allies, Brawl fired shells from his main gun, narrowly missing several targets before running over vehicles abandoned by human bystanders. As the American soldiers fanned out in search of cover, the Autobots charged Devastator. He focused his attacks on Ironhide, who was forced to somersault over his shells. This distraction allowed the Autobot Jazz to jump on top of Brawl and point his cannon away from the humans. Brawl managed to transform and throw the smaller Autobot off him, but not before Jazz destroyed his left side rocket launcher pod.

Damaged, but not down, Brawl fired two rockets from his remaining launcher, missing the heavily armed Autobot as he somersaulted over the missiles. Ironhide and Jazz managed to fire several shots at Brawl, disorienting him. Ratchet followed up by using his buzzsaw to slice off Brawl's left arm. The humans then fired a volley of sabot rounds while Ratchet supported with suppressive fire, knocking Brawl to the ground. The only thing that saved him was the Autobots and humans' retreat at the arrival of Megatron. Eventually, Ironhide and Ratchet disengaged from the battle as they left to protect ladiesman217, who was escaping with the All Spark, while Jazz took on Megatron. Now with fewer targets to deal with, Brawl sprayed heavy machine gun fire at the remaining humans, whose leader remarked that the battle was not going well.

Brawl continued to pin down the soldiers until the damaged Autobot Bumblebee suddenly attacked while on the back of of a tow truck driven by Ladiesman217's female companion. Brawl tried to return fire, only for his machine gun, his last ranged weapon, to be destroyed by Bumblebee's plasma cannon. With the Autobot's return to battle being the deciding factor, the human soldiers rallied and fired more sabots, piercing Brawl's armor until a final shot from Bumblebee struck Brawl's spark and killed him. Brawl died as he lived: destroying things, for his chassis crashed into the building the human soliders had taken refuge in.

Brawl's body was dumped into the deepest part of the ocean along with his fellow Decepticons, in the hopes the intense pressure and cold will destroy whatever remained.Transformers (2007)
Deep Desert Brawl toy bio
In the final battle Brawl was not killed, but saturated with power from the AllSpark and freed from the influence of Megatron. He disappeared into the rugged land around the Hoover Dam. Making his way over the course of months to the most troubled spot on Earth (presumably the Middle East), he adapted his vehicle mode to the new environment, went to ground and waited. Brawl now gains up energy from the blazing sun, and emerges only to satisfy his hunger for destruction by attacking and annihilating human convoys and armored columns. To those living in the region, he has become a myth, but to those few who survive his attacks he is an all too real monster.

Transformers (2007)
*Decepticon Brawl (Deluxe Class, 2007)
**Japanese ID number: MD-03
**Accessories: Missile

: Deluxe-class Brawl transforms into a heavily modified fictional tank based upon an M1A1 Abrams, fitted with angular reflective armor, a mine plow and external spare fuel canisters. Mounted upon the turret is a smaller sub-turret housing two anti-aircraft cannons and rocket launchers. The spring-loaded main cannon fires a translucent red projectile.

: During transformation to robot mode, automorphing pushes down on the front of his tank during transformation raises the front of the treads and his head up into position for his robot mode, and vice versa for the tank mode. He is armed with his spring-loaded main gun on his right arm and a flip-out blade on his left.

: There is a design flaw in the way Brawl's arms attach to his torso - the rhombic peg and socket system used does not provide a tight enough fit, and thus the arms have a tendency to detach at the shoulder when moved. There have also been quite a few reports of the teeny-tiny automorph gears - molded out of fragile translucent plastic - cracking and breaking into piece, leaving the automorph non-functional.

*Deluxe three-pack (Multi-pack, 2007)

: This CostCo exclusive three-pack contains an unchanged Deluxe Class Decepticon Brawl together with equally unchanged Deluxe Class Bonecrusher and Autobot Jazz toys. It also comes with a nifty poster depicting all three toys in a standoff scene. Not so nifty is that the box accidently places Brawl and Bonecrusher's bios underneath each other.

*Deluxe three-pack (Multi-pack, UK 2007)

: This three-pack, which was available at general retail in the United Kingdom, contains an unchanged Deluxe Class Decepticon Brawl together with equally unchanged Deluxe Class Protoform Optimus Prime and Autobot Jazz toys.

*Double Missile Decepticon Brawl (Fast Action Battler, 2007)
**Accessories: 2 missiles

: "Double Missile Brawl" is a simplified version of Brawl. Designed for younger children, his transformation is designed with speedy conversion in mind, with relatively few steps compared to the Deluxe class Brawl. Additionally, in an effort to keep the design sturdy for play and safety, he has relatively low articulation for a figure of his size, while the design style of the figure is more rounded and 'friendly'. Two pressure-launched missiles are fired from his two missile pods.

*Ultimate Bumblebee Bonus Value pack (Multi-pack, 2007)

: A Wal-Mart exclusive special pack of Ultimate Bumblebee with Deluxe Class Decepticon Brawl and Scorponok as bonus figures. None of the three toys is changed from their respective original releases.

*Decepticon Brawl (Cyber Slammer, 2007)

: Cyber Slammers Brawl is an amazingly cute tank that transforms into an amazingly cute sentient machine of mass destruction. "Slam" his robot mode down into tank mode and he rolls along, slowly transforming back up into robot mode. Like most Cyber Slammers, Brawl manages to cram most of his vehicle mode's major details into a compact, super-deformed version of that mode.

*Decepticon Brawl (Leader Class, 2007)

: The larger, more heavily armed version of Brawl, this figure is more accurate to the character's CGI model, with more articulation and weapons than the Deluxe-class figure.

: While having no firing missiles, it does feature a number of Automorph gimmicks. First, pressing the button on the front of the tank causes his head and chest pieces to move into position. A scoop/claw has been added to the front of the tank, probably to make the lever to push his head back down stand out less. Second, pressing the headlights on either side of the front end causes the paneling to swing back into place. Finally, Brawl has automorph weapons on each of his forearms - his right arm has a quadruple-barrelled cannon that extended as you slide a switch formward, while his left features a swing-out claw, deployed by pulling back the arm's cannon.

: Other features include lights and sounds, activated by pushing back on the main cannon or turning the upper turret. The turret sounds can also be activated by pressing the two small buttons on the top of the turret, on either side of the machine gun. A pair of blades can also swing down from the legs.

: Possibly due to safety reasons or just the desire on the part of the designers to not see fragile parts break, the main cannon and anti-aircraft guns on Brawl's turrets detach from their mounting points rather easily.

*Deep Desert Brawl (Leader Class, 2008)

: An extensive redeco of Leader Class Brawl in desert colours, as part of the AllSpark Power refresh of the movie toyline. His vehicle mode comes with battle damage carbon scoring as well as Autobot "kill" markings. His clear plastic parts are cast in bright translucent blue, along with the bright blue paint seen on his robot mode, a color accent he has in common with the rest of the AllSpark Power toys.

* During the movie, Brawl identifies himself as "Devastator" in a subtitle, an early working name for the character. When queried at the Australian press conference, director Michael Bay said he had always preferred the name "Devastator". Writer Roberto Orci confirmed that he and his co-writer Alex Kurtzman considered this an "error", which they had pointed out in the editing room twice. In addition, at Botcon 2007 Hasbro representatives stated they consider "Devastator" a "continuity glitch", and as far as they are concerned, the character's name is "Brawl". Despite rumors to the contrary, he is not credited in the film under either name.

* According to Picture Vehicle Coordinator Steve Mann, the filming prop of Brawl was a redress of a tank prop made for another movie. Specifically, it was the 'stealth tank' seen in the film XXX: State of the Union.

* The name 'Brawl' was previously a working name for the character now called Barricade.

* A wallpaper on Hasbro's Transformers web site labels Brawl as "Demolisher", one of several working names for this character.

*Jazz' move of racing-transforming-boarding Brawl is not completely unlike the scene in The Transformers: The Movie where Kup does the same thing with Blitzwing. The DVD's special features confirm this was the inspiration.

* Brawl is the most heavily armed Transformer in the movie, followed by Blackout. Unfortunately for him, he has no chance to unleash his full armament, as many of his weapons are broken before he can use them. For example, Jazz kicks off the four-tube missile launcher on his left shoulder, and Ratchet slices off his left arm at the elbow, blades and all.
:The Headmaster is a human in the Animated continuity family.

The Headmaster is the alternate identity of Henry Masterson, a disgruntled Sumdac Systems employee with the ability to take control of robots by replacing their heads with robotic heads that he controls. He's a gigantic dork who plays too many video games and seems to have crossed the line between reality and fiction. His vocabulary is littered with slang from teh internets, with terms like "n00bs" and "Total ownage!"

The Headmaster's control unit possesses a veritable arsenal of onboard weaponry, with grenades, missiles, and lasers, the latter of which can be used for combat or to decapitate his robot victims. The control unit can also transform from head to bipedal robot.

Henry Masterson grew up tinkering with Sumdac Systems robots and got a job as an engineer for them at a relatively young age. His genius caught the attention of his superiors, and he eventually had the honor of presenting his "Headmaster" project, a human-piloted transforming battle suit that could remove and replace the heads of automatons, to Isaac Sumdac himself. The demonstration went awry when the Headmaster unit proved to be too heavy for his robotic test subject, making it collapse and sending its weaponry towards Detroit. Sumdac, incensed by Masterson's plans to put his invention to military use, fired him in a fit of Donald Trump-esque rage.

Masterson apparently absconded with his Headmaster prototype and went off to sulk and play with his Rock 'Em, Sock 'Em Robots. He decided that having his own company would be "wicked sweet", as would exacting his revenge on Sumdac. Needing a robot sturdy enough to support his control unit, he chanced upon a news report on Bulkhead. The emo jerk ambushed and decapitated Bulkhead and subsequently went on a rampage in the Autobot's body.

He demolished several Sumdac police drones en route to a solar power plant. Dubbing himself "the Headmaster", he hijacked local television broadcasts to deliver his ultimatum: Unless he was paid $700 billion, personally delivered by Isaac Sumdac, he would set the solar fusion reactor to overload, which would result in the obliteration of the entire state of Michigan (including Masterson himself). Sumdac arrived in a tractor trailer, accompanied by his daughter, Captain Fanzone, and a small convoy of vehicles. Sumdac offered Henry the money, but the Headmaster grabbed him and announced his intention to take the ransom money and destroy the city of Detroit anyway, then use the threat of future robot attacks to sell his Headmaster units to the military.

When he checked the trailer for the money, he found only the enraged head of Bulkhead. The convoy of vehicles revealed themselves as the Autobots and engaged the Headmaster in combat. After taking a pounding from them, the Headmaster unleashed the weaponry of his control unit. He managed to corner Optimus Prime and began to slice the Autobot leader's head off. Prevented from doing so thanks to an ambush by Bulkhead's severed head, the Headmaster was soon felled by Prowl. Masterson decided to flee, but his flying Headmaster unit was knocked out of the sky by the still-disembodied Bulkhead. With the Autobots distracted by the overloading reactor, the Headmaster transformed his head unit into robot mode and fled. Headmaster (episode)
the headmaster will make a return in return of the headmaster.
*Bulkhead (Leader, 2008)
:The Headmaster appears as a second head that can be fitted over Bulkhead's head. This feature is available on all Leader class toys. Applying the head alters the sound gimmicks of said toys, causing them to play clips of the Headmaster. However, he seems to lack the ability to transform into the robot mode briefly seen in his debut episode.

Trivia
* The Headmaster is the first Animated supervillain to escape capture by the end of the episode. Guess he isn't a total loser.
* Like some villains in the series, his real name is a pun on his eventual supervillain name.
* Because the Headmaster is not an actual Transformer, his transformation sound is very different.
* Headmaster seems to be the Transformers equivalent of Control Freak from the Teen Titans cartoon, even having the same voice actor, creator, and similar manner of speaking. Although Headmaster's peculiarities are centered around computers, Control Freak's were centered around television.
* He is every phony Internet tough guy you've ever met.
