Sorry if the post about Jolt not being confused with the previously released Jolt wasn't a good one... Just thought it was sort of a unique case that should be addressed, what with there being two movie Jolts, and unlike the 2007 one which didn't appear in any movies and has since been changed to a different character, also not appearing in the movies, the new Jolt is in the movie. I know that's what disambiguation is for, but I just thought it was an interesting bit of trivia that a movie character's name was already used in the movieverse, though for a different character. ==Megatron joke==
The monsters in MMPR always started out human-sized. Then, at some point, Rita throws her staff down from the Moon shouting "Make my monster grow!". The staff lands in the ground and energy shoots out of it, making the monster enormous. The laser effects around Megatron's cannon in that picture look a lot like the staff. Here is a YouTube clip of it: [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUelB-OSneY]. Honestly, it's not a big deal to me, but the old joke doesn't really make any sense in the first place. It seems to be a premature ejaculation joke to go along with his cannon firing, but it's not like there's anybody else in the picture for the innuendo to be complete. I think the observation our anonymous editor made about the resemblance to the staff is actually pretty clever. I thought it was meant to point out that though she was designed as a female figure, she didn't really turn out looking any more female than any other Transformer (excluding Arcee and Thunderblast). Just FYI, the edits HooperX made were capitalizing on the fact that Rabbicrater looks like his name contains the word "rabbi", when in fact it's meant to be most of the word "rabbit". The caption gag of "L'chaim" thus becomes more obvious, though I like the current one better. As for the miscellaneous trivia, I think it's an attempt at a callback to one of the final scenes from the Mel Brooks film ''History of the World, Part 1''. In the flyover shot of the barge on which the four Constructicons sit, a red bulldozer (Rampage), a concrete mixer (Mixmaster), a dump truck (Long Haul) and a yellow front-end loader are visible. The yellow front-end loader is the alternate mode of the Constructicon Scrapper, and ze little one's robot mode appears to be the same as Scrapper's. As such, the temptation to just consider this a Scrapper unit is great... except that, after the flyover shot, the yellow loader disappears, and is replaced with a yellow Volvo excavator, clearly marked with a large Decepticon insignia. For the purposes of reducing headaches, we're assuming that the excavator is the "correct" vehicle mode, and that it just happens to transform into a robot mode that resembles Scrapper...even though it's not him. Maybe it's a different weapons system, but do you have any evidence to back that up? I'm assuming you have finally accepted that Megatron does shoot Jazz with his right arm and you watched the entire scene. The blast was blue like the blast from the combined fusion cannon and his fusion cannon from ROTF ,and it was very powerful, as it sent Jazz flying much in the same way as it did to Optimus in ROTF. Also, he lost his left arm at the end of the first movie, and if it were solely stored in his left arm, it would not have been present in ROTF. It's probably pretty safe to assume that "the Little One," who provided Megatron with parts did not possess a fusion cannon and the "Doctor" did not build a completely new one. IF you can come up with a better arguement than that or provide some official source material, I'll leave it alone, but if you keep using an ambiguous arguement I'll just keep editing the article.

No I don't have any evidence that it is a fusion cannon, but I think there is a better argument for it being a fusion cannon than not, as I stated above. And yes Jazz did only fly a few feet, but maybe that's because the fusion cannon was not at full power because it was not combined with Megatron's left arm. As for the pictures, they don't look anything like the crab claw fusion cannon, yet that is still a fusion cannon. I'm not trying to jerk you around; this is just how I see it and a lot of this is just opinion because Hasbro or whoever hasn't officially detailed anything. i'm trying to improve the wiki, but if i'm making things worse, i need help understanding what i'm doing wrong so i can do better in the future. i thought it noteworthy that so many characters with such similar vehicle modes, and most of them with the same name, all used such close color schemes, but NOT the color scheme used by the G1 1984 bearer of the name. Why isn't that worth mentioning? Certain TF characters/names/archetypes are becoming more consistent across franchises for the sake of making Hasbro/TakaraTomy product more iconic, more recognizable: Optimus Primes are big red and blue trucks (fewer black Primals, fewer fire trucks or flame decos); Bumblebees are smaller (either cuter or sleeker) yellow cars; Cliffjumpers are red cars similar in size to whichever Bumblebee lives in the same universe, regardless of whether or not the Cliffjumper is a Bumblebee redeco. Doesn't it seem like, at least for a while, Mirages were keeping to the racer archetype but not only moving ''away'' from G1 colors, but largely moving in the same new direction? Sure, maybe the yellows and reds were coincidental, but i feel like it's circumstantial evidence that should go in the case file anyway. Hello! I saw your post. I understand that you don't permit new users to make a lot of captions like that, and it seems like captions are a pretty big issue here. I decided to join to make the occasional edit here and there, and I know I got pretty carried away with the captions, they're just too fun, and they're my favorite part of this website! It makes me remember how fun and enjoyable Transformers is as a franchise, and even more so how the fandom is just as fun. Jerry was an employee at NASA who was blackmailed by [[Laserbeak (DOTM)|Laserbeak]] into becoming a Decepticon agent and doing their dirty work. One of these deeds included sabotaging satellites to conceal the [[Ark (DOTM)|Ark]] on the dark side of the [[Moon (moon)|Moon]]. He quit NASA and went to work at Accuretta Systems to try and escape but was eventually found again by Laserbeak. Jerry began to lose his sanity and behave strangely, getting up in other employee's faces (even the bosses) and generally disrupting the office environment.

One day, a new employee named [[Sam Witwicky]] came in. He then pulled out NASA documents on [[Apollo 11]]'s mission to the Moon as well as documents of various NASA employees in an attempt to clue Sam in on a conspiracy concerning the lunar race and the Decepticons.

After being tortured by an evil and suspicious Decepticon computer some time later, Sam passed by and tried to talk to Wang about the paper documents he gave him, but as he was being heavily monitored, he drove him away. Realizing that Jerry was giving away secrets, Laserbeak transformed in front of Jerry and tormented him. Jerry begged Laserbeak to spare him, but Laserbeak informed Jerry of his outlived usefulness and that he was to be "suicided". Jerry had other ideas, however, and pulled two guns out at Laserbeak. Despite this tactic of intimidation, Jerry was no match for the predatory bird-bot, who knocked him back into his chair and shoved him through one of the building's many glass windows, sending him plummeting to his splattery [[death]].

[[Starscream (WFC)|Starscream]] mocks what sounds like another "Shockwave plan", until Shockwave grabs him with an angry reminder about how Starscream recently left him to the mercy of the [[Autobot]]s. Megatron does not object as Shockwave forces Starscream's face closer and closer to a jagged protrusion of cyber-matter. Scrambling for a defense, Starscream notes that his actions made their current situation possible. Shockwave accepts the logic of this and lets Starscream go. Without missing a beat, Megatron asks Shockwave why the cyber-matter appears so chaotic, and the scientist pledges to correct the instability of the elements. Megatron notes that they will require a launch mechanism from which to use the cyber-matter, and declares that they will focus their resources on reconstructing the [[Omega Lock]].

Due to a lack of equipment and spare parts, the repair consists of an unsightly hook appendage that Ratchet says will be functional, but potentially unfit for battle. [[Arcee (WFC)|Arcee]] tries to assure [[Wheeljack (Prime)|Wheeljack]] that Ultra Magnus will overcome this setback. [[Smokescreen (Prime)|Smokescreen]] bets that the hook will become Magnus' signature, making a comparison to [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]]'s [[voice box]] that the scout doesn't appreciate. Bumblebee buzzes angrily and storms off. [[Raf Esquivel|Raf]] explains to [[Miko Nakadai|Miko]] and [[Jack Darby|Jack]] that Bumblebee still misses the sound of his old voice. [[Bulkhead (Prime)|Bulkhead]] tries to lighten the mood by focusing on the defeat of the [[Predacon (Prime)|Predacon]] cloning project, but [[Optimus Prime (WFC)|Optimus Prime]] reminds them all of [[Predaking (Prime)|the Predacon who recently revealed his abilities in transformation]].

Aboard the ''[[Trypticon (WFC)|Nemesis]]'', Megatron tells Predaking that they will soon punish the Autobots for destroying his brethren. Predaking vows that revenge will come, but that Project Predacon was only ever a starting point. He says that if Megatron truly wishes to restore [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]], this should include resurrecting the entire Predacon race from the remains that lie there, so that Predaking can lead them against their shared enemies. Megatron regards this request with skepticism.

Shockwave reports that they've salvaged the wreckage of the Omega Lock, but that the damage was severe, and Earth technology will be needed to retrofit its systems. Megatron orders Starscream to acquire whatever materials Shockwave requires.

The next day, [[William Fowler|Fowler]] reports that [[Decepticon]]s stole twenty tons of control rods from a nuclear plant during the night. Optimus wonders gravely what they're attempting to build.

Shockwave reports to Megatron that the [[Synthetic Energon|synthetic energon]] formula provided by [[Knock Out (Prime)|Knock Out]] is incomplete, resulting in the instability of the cyber-matter. Megatron tells him to complete it quickly, citing the need for enough cyber-matter to restore Cybertron and cyberform [[Earth]]. Shockwave respectfully asks what the logic is in ruling two planets, to which Megatron replies that the two are linked, one [[Unicron]] and the other [[Primus]], and to rule only one would be ruling neither.

Fowler reports another Decepticon theft in progress. Ratchet opens a [[GroundBridge]], but stops Ultra Magnus when he tries to go through, citing the need for further rehabilitation. Optimus says that Ratchet has the final word in medical matters, to which Ultra Magnus reluctantly agrees. Wheeljack watches the exchange with discomfort.

The Autobots arrive on the scene and immediately advance on squad of [[Vehicon (Prime)|Vehicon]]s, who are carrying away their spoils. [[Soundwave (WFC)|Soundwave]] emerges from the sky in alt-form, opening a GroundBridge directly in front of the retreating Vehicons. [[Laserbeak (WFC)|Laserbeak]] is deployed, and Optimus transforms and takes to the air with his jet pack to engage them both. The Vehicons escape through the bridge, but Optimus' gatling gun is able to bring Soundwave crashing to the ground. Laserbeak escapes, and Optimus contacts Ratchet to let him know they will be returning with a prisoner.

At the Autobot base, Soundwave finds himself secured to a table. Ratchet notes that the base's shielding will prevent the Decepticon from contacting his ship. Wheeljack gleefully says that they have all the time in the world to make Soundwave talk, and Miko wonders if he even does talk.

On the ''Nemesis'', Starscream asks Megatron if he's worried about what the captive Soundwave might say. Megatron states his confidence in Soundwave's ability to withhold information.

Optimus asks Soundwave why the Decepticons have been stealing human technology. Soundwave mockingly plays back a remix of the question set to music, and punctuates it with a smiley face emoticon on his visor. Optimus threatens a less civil method of interrogation, and Soundwave broadcasts a sonic pulse throughout the room that causes humans and Autobots alike to double over in pain. Ratchet angrily suggests opening Soundwave up to get the information they need, but the Decepticon responds by erasing data directly from his own drives. With a final taunt spoken in his own voice, he says, "Soundwave superior, Autobots inferior." His visor blinks out and he slumps down on the table, off-line. An astonished Ratchet reports that the Decepticon's vital signs are stable, but that he crashed his own drives rather than allow them to be read.

Shockwave locates the only item on Earth with enough raw tonnage to power the rebuilt Omega Lock; a particle collider synchrotron. However, his efforts to complete the synthetic energon formula have met with less success. Megatron recalls that Knock Out obtained the formula from Ratchet, and muses that the simplest solution is to recruit him. Shockwave says that Laserbeak can upload the order to Soundwave after reconnecting with him, but Starscream notes that they don't know the location of the Autobot base. Shockwave recalls that Soundwave kept surveillance records on all the Autobots' human allies, not just the children.

From his car phone, Fowler tells Optimus that he's on his way to a meeting with [[Bryce|General Bryce]] about the recent Decepticon heists, and that he'll be back to the base as soon as possible. Behind the car, Laserbeak follows from the sky.

Megatron orders Predaking to be present at the Decepticons' next objective, as they expect the Autobots will interfere. Predaking says that he looks forward to facing the [[Prime (rank)|Prime]] again. This cavalier attitude enrages Megatron, who screams at the Predacon about their dwindling forces. Predaking merely states that he will have to fight twice as hard.

On his way back to the base, Fowler contacts the Autobots and reports that the Decepticons are attacking the Solaris particle collider project at the South Pole. Optimus readies the Autobots for action. Ratchet attempts to hold Ultra Magnus back again, but Wheeljack declares that the commander is ready. Wearily, Ratchet relents and opens a GroundBridge. Optimus commands Bulkhead and Smokescreen to stay behind and help Ratchet guard Soundwave, then he and the others depart. While the younger Bots comment on the prone Decepticon, Ratchet wonders what Megatron wants with a device powerful enough to open a [[black hole]].

Outside, Fowler parks in front of the base, still followed by Laserbeak.

It dawns on Ratchet that enough power to swallow a world could also be enough power to create one. He contacts Optimus at the South Pole and relays his suspicion that Megatron plans to rebuild the Omega Lock. He wonders if they should let him, but Optimus knows Megatron will use the Lock to cyberform Earth as well as Cybertron. Disappointed, Ratchet says he understands.

Just then, Predaking strikes from the sky, firing blasts of flame breath that send the Autobots scattering. Optimus returns fire and orders the Autobots to stop the Decepticons from obtaining the collider while he faces the Predacon alone. As the Autobots race to the Solaris building, Optimus draws his gatling gun and engages in an aerial duel with the Predacon. Optimus pours on the firepower, but is unable to keep the beast at bay. With a final, savage swipe of his tail, Predaking sends Optimus crashing down to the ground far below.

Inside the building, the other Autobots find a squad of Vehicons lying in wait for them. As the two groups exchange fire, Shockwave oversees the retrieval of the particle collider in the next room.

At the Autobot base, Smokescreen is trying to convince Ratchet that they'll restore Cybertron somehow when Fowler walks in. He is followed a moment later by Laserbeak crashing through the window. The [[Deployer (Prime)|Deployer]]'s lasers keep the Autobots at bay long enough for him to sever Soundwave's bonds. Smokescreen returns fire, hitting Laserbeak's wing, but is unable to prevent the bird from reuniting with his master. Soundwave springs back to life and effortlessly dispatches Smokescreen, Bulkhead, and Fowler with his tentacles before advancing on Ratchet.

==Synopsis==
[[Miko Nakadai|Miko]] is already making plans to move in with [[Bulkhead (Prime)|Bulkhead]] on [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] while [[Jack Darby|Jack]] is feeling left out of the loop. [[Ratchet (WFC)|Ratchet]] points out they no longer have the [[Omega Key]]s, let alone any way to get to Cybertron. They speculate that [[Starscream (WFC)|Starscream]] has used the keys to bargain his way back with the [[Decepticon]]s. While they're wondering why Starscream didn't just try to sell the keys to the highest bidder, they are contacted by [[Dreadwing (Prime)|Dreadwing]], who requests a meeting. [[GroundBridge|Bridging]] out to a remote location, they find Dreadwing, who presents them with the [[Forge of Solus Prime]]. Disillusioned by the fate of [[Skyquake (Prime)|his brother]], Dreadwing no longer believes in the Decepticon cause, though he's not interested in joining the Autobots either.

Back at base, the Autobots wonder what [[Megatron (WFC)|Megatron]] will do with the Omega Keys, and [[Optimus Prime (WFC)|Optimus Prime]] believes he will use them to restore Cybertron for political points. Optimus is aware that Megatron doesn't know of the existence of the [[Omega Lock]], which is needed to use the keys. He reveals to the others that [[Alpha Trion (Prime)|Alpha Trion]] entrusted him with knowledge of the Lock and its location on Cybertron during the message stored in the [[Star Saber (Prima)|Star Saber]]. Optimus starts using the Forge to modify the GroundBridge.

Dreadwing returns to the ''[[Trypticon (WFC)|Nemesis]]'' where Megatron encounters him in a corridor and makes sure to stress that the Decepticons must be united to restore Cybertron. For his part, Dreadwing intends to personally reach out to [[Starscream (WFC)|Starscream]]. In the medical bay, [[Knock Out (Prime)|Knock Out]] has just finished restoring Starscream's [[Transformation cog|T-Cog]] when Dreadwing arrives and immediately attempts to kill Starscream. As Knock Out flees, Dreadwing advances on the patient with his sword, but as he raises his sword, Megatron arrived and demands he stand down. Dreadwing refuses, and Megatron is forced to blast a hole through him with Dreadwing's own cannon. Megatron then promptly warns the relieved Starscream to ''never'' make him regret killing his former second-in-command.

The Autobots wonder why Optimus has been hiding things from them. [[Smokescreen (Prime)|Smokescreen]] points out that Megatron would have learned about the Omega Lock by now if Optimus had been more open.

Knock Out and Starscream work on studying the Omega Keys in an attempt to discover how they work. Starscream resorts to hitting one against the table, and then against Knock Out, and they inadvertently discover that the keys lock together. By combining all four, they reveal a holographic map of Cybertron with a location marker on it. Pleased, Megatron orders the [[space bridge]] fired up.

Optimus finishes turning the GroundBridge into a space bridge. The base sensors detect the Decepticon space bridge firing up, and the Autobots realize that time is short. Optimus believes they still have the element of surprise. The Autobots pull the various Iacon relics they possess from storage. Meanwhile, Megatron leaves Starscream in command of the ship and takes a platoon of [[Vehicon (Prime)|Vehicons]] with the Omega Keys through the space bridge. As the Autobots likewise fire up their space bridge, Optimus uses the Forge to recreate the Star Saber, and they too head through. Megatron and his men soon stand at the edge of the [[Rust Sea|Sea of Rust]].

Jack gives Ratchet a call, as school's out and he, Miko and [[Raf Esquivel|Raf]] haven't been picked up by the Autobots yet. Ratchet merely tells them the others are busy and hangs up.

As Megatron and his men walk through the Sea of Rust, Smokescreen rises out of the ground and attacks them from behind. [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]] drops scrap on them using the [[polarity gauntlet]], Bulkhead zaps them with the [[Immobilizer]], and Arcee smashes through them while wearing the [[Apex Armor (Prime)|Apex Armor]]. Megatron himself faces Optimus and the Star Saber, and while the pair fight, the other Autobots take back the Omega Keys. With a swipe of his blade, Optimus sends Megatron flying so the Autobots can retreat. As Megatron orders his men to follow, Smokescreen phases out of some nearby scenery and drops the [[spark extractor]] before disappearing again. The device obliterates the Vehicons before Megatron hurls the [[Dark Star Saber]], impaling it. Megatron orders Starscream to send reinforcements, but Starscream and Soundwave have an even better idea.

The Autobots reach the Omega Lock, an unassuming dimple on the landscape. The Keys glow, and the location transforms, creating a huge ring over their heads that fills with a shimmering energy field. Megatron arrives and demands they hand over the Keys. While the Autobots are wondering what motivation Megatron could give them for doing that, a space bridge opens and Starscream, Knock Out and [[Soundwave (WFC)|Soundwave]] step out, carrying the three kids in airtight containers. Megatron threatens to expose all three to Cybertron's toxic atmosphere unless they return the Keys to him.
