Treds is a traveller from another dimension, who has taken the form of a Decepticon and infiltrated their ranks in the hopes of finding the solution to a problem that plagues his home. Treds is the only Guardian in the interdimensional scout party to join the Decepticons to ensure that his allies among the Autobots get the information his faction gathers. He is also one of the Guardians’ most trusted peace agents.

Fiction
Timelines
Treds at some point served under Admiral Man-O-War. He didn't enjoy the experience, having been on the receiving end of many of the Admiral's condescending quips. Sunrise

Faced with the Cataclysm, a threat to the very existence of their universe, a group of cybernetic lifeforms called Guardians and Renegades located the probable source of their troubles: a dimensional stream from the 22nd level, involving robot lifeforms called Transformers. Using a Dimensional Interfacer, the GoBots planned to send representatives from each group to infiltrate the Autobot and Decepticon factions of Transformers, exploring that universe for a possible resolution for the Cataclysm and their plight. Treds was disguised as a Decepticon to keep an eye on the Renegades Bad Boy and Bug Bite, similarly disguised.

Their mission, however, hit a snag before it even began. Their transport stream got caught up in a second dimensional transit, alerting the Transcendent Technomorphs of a different dimension to their passage. The TransTechs redirected the GoBots' travel to their own Cybertron, at the dimensional hub known as Axiom Nexus. After hearing of their troubles, though, the TransTechs decided to hold the GoBots indefinitely in Axiom Nexus. The Technomorphs feared that the Gobotronians' non-transwarp-based transit technology could be used against them, and the risk of letting the Guardians and Renegades off-world was too great. Withered Hope

Treds, along with other displaced GoBots, was "processed" before being released into Axiom Nexus's "Offworlder Zone." Transcendent: Part 1

During processing, Bug Bite disappeared. Knowing he would stir up trouble if left unchecked, Path Finder sent Bad Boy and Treds to track down the missing Renegade. Treds also helped in acquiring accommodations for their stay in Axiom Nexus, where the Gobots befriended the morose Crystal Widow. Early in their search, the two faux Decepticons came across a murder scene, with evidence pointing towards Bug Bite as the murderer. Making brief contact with Commander Cheetor, they followed Bug Bite's trail from the crime scene to The Blue Deployer, and then to the Malignus Revolutionary Army. Treds tried to extract information from the anti-establishment gang through a diplomatic approach. When this failed, Bad Boy picked a fight with one of the Malignus, earning his respect once he beat him.

With the information provided to them by the Malignus, Bad Boy and Treds made their way to Swindle, Swindle and Swindle next. There, they discovered that Bug Bite had refurnished his chassis, and found a way out of Axiom Nexus already. Having acquired a "No Questions Asked" transit pass on the black market, Bug Bite was long gone. Unfortunately, this information cost the pair most of their funds. Complicating things further, the brutal General Demolishor had become convinced that the rest of the GoBots were already in possession of black market passes of their own, and begun hunting them down. Treds was captured and held hostage by Demolishor in the Heap. His fellow GoBots and Crystal Widow came to his rescue, though Treds was unable to help for much in the fight that ensued; his hands had been cuffed, and his main weapon disabled by the General. After a prolonged and intense battle, Demolishor was defeated and taken in by Cheetor for his unlawful behavior. Treds helped save Path Finder with an Energon transfusion, and in the aftermath of the battle, Cheetor provided the group with the rest of the off-world transit passes Bug Bite had pilfered.

After Crystal Widow and another sympathetic officer, Airazor, helped the group get retrofitted with upgrades, the GoBots managed to access the dimensional hub and continue on their mission to the 22nd level. They made contact with Bug Bite, who informed them enough time had passed that they should be expecting more arrivals from the Dimensional Interfacer at any time... Withered Hope Sure enough, the group was joined by Admiral Man-O-War, Rest-Q, and The BuggyMan. As Bug Bite had escaped the group again, Admiral Man-O-War berated Treds for shirking his duty, and allowing a known criminal to run loose. The group then set out to make contact with the local Autobots, with Treds joining the earth-bound troops through the potato state. Sunrise

In order to avoid drawing attention to themselves, the GoBots concealed Treds under a tarp and had Road Ranger haul him down the road atop of a flatbed trailer. Road Ranger griped that the inconvenience could have been avoid had Treds picked a road-legal vehicle for his disguise. Treds defended his choice of alt-mode, stating that his offensive capabilities could be the only thing that kept them alive should they encounter enemy units. Later, Treds was the first to notice a red sports car barreling down towards them. Thanks to The BuggyMan's warning, the group were able to avoid a confrontation with the negative-polarity Cybertronian.

As the GoBots approached the Autobots' base, they were put ill-at-ease by the radio silence they encountered. Deciding to err on the side of caution, they approached the Ironworks stealthily. They were nonetheless ambushed by Stepper and Nebulon. Treds attempted to reason with their attackers, explaining that they weren’t spies. When that failed, Tred's group attempted to fight back against the evil Autobots with their built-in laser weaponry, only to find that Stepper's Golnium coating made him invulnerable to such attacks. Realizing they needed solid ammo to overpower him, Treds let loose... and accidentally blew apart both Nebulon and Stepper's hand. Though Treds was taken aback over blowing up an organic being into bits, Rest-Q reassured his teammate that he hadn't actually killed anyone; Nebulon was just a gun, and Stepper had been using ventriloquism to pass it off as a sentient creature. Just as Treds regained his composure, a stern voice warned the GoBots not to move... High Noon (SG)
Renegade Rhetoric
Treds was working out of a UNECOM base with Leader-1's command team when Cy-Kill arrived waiving a white flag. The Renegade overlord proposed a game of basketball, with the loser vowing to leave Earth forever. Leader-1 agreed, and the Guardians began training for the game with the assistance of the Harlem Globetrotters. When the big game began, the Guardians came out to an early lead. Treds took possession and fired the ball out his cannon and into the net from half-court. Although the Guardians won, the Renegades reneged on the agreement and fled. Double Dribble In the final battle between the Guardians and Renegades over a matter transmuter, Treds arrived with Dozer, Royal-T, and Road Ranger with the Power Suits to form Courageous. Together, the Guardian combiner squared off against Monsterous until Cy-Kill ordered a retreat. One Born Every Minute
* Treds's complicated position as an undercover Autobot/Guardian amongst the Decepticons/Renegades is, strangely enough, not without precedent. The original Treds toy was among the few GoBots to sport one of the Tonka-originated GoBot faction logos... however, Treds features the Renegade symbol rather than the Guardian one. Despite the presence of both the Renegade symbol and a Communist star, Treds was sold as a Guardian. Therefore, it seems as though bio-writer Hirofumi Ichikawa took this random discrepancy and ran with it.
Faced with the Cataclysm, a threat to all life in their universe, a group of cybernetic lifeforms called Guardians and Renegades located the probable source of their troubles: a dimensional stream from the 22nd level, involving robot lifeforms called Transformers. Bad Boy and his Renegade companion Bug Bite were to infiltrate the Decepticons along with their Guardian liaison, Treds.

Their mission, however, was interrupted before it even began. The Technomorphs feared that the Gobotronians' non-transwarp-based transit technology could be used against them, and the risk of letting the Guardians and Renegades back into the universe was too great. Withered Hope

Bad Boy, along with other displaced GoBots, underwent extensive processing before being released into Axiom Nexus proper. Transcendent: Part 1

Soon after being put into processing, Bug Bite disappeared. Fearing what he might do if left unchecked, Path Finder sent Bad Boy and Treds to search for the missing Renegade. Shortly into their search, the two faux Decepticons came across a murder scene, and Bug Bite's distinctive GoBot hand blaster seemed to be the murder weapon. Making brief contact with Commander Cheetor at the scene, they followed Bug Bite's trail from the murder to The Blue Deployer, and then to the Malignus Revolutionary Army. While Treds tried the diplomatic approach, Bad Boy had his own way of doing things: He picked the biggest, meanest-looking Malignus in the room and taunted him into a brawl. (The fact that the Malignus was named Turbo may have helped). One chokehold and a LOT of smashed bar furniture later, and the Malignus had practically adopted Bad Boy. When dealing with punks, sometimes a good kick in the skidplate is the best way to make friends.

The Malignus pointed Bad Boy and Treds to the ever-reputable Swindle, Swindle and Swindle, where Bug Bite was sure to have found modifications to disguise himself. Sure enough he had, and what's more, the evidence indicated Bug Bite had already arranged for transit off of Axiom Nexus. Having acquired a "No Questions Asked" transit pass on the black market, Bug Bite was long gone, and the other GoBots were left to the tender mercies of General Demolishor, a TransTech desperately searching for a way to cover up his role in the lost passes. Bad Boy and the GoBots got into an extreme battle with Demolishor at the Heap, and they only survived thanks to separate alert signals Bad Boy sent out to the Malignus Revolutionaries and Commander Cheetor.

Having acquired the rest of the transit pass set Bug Bite had pilfered, the GoBots managed to access the dimensional hub and continue on their mission to the 22nd level. They made contact with Bug Bite, who informed them enough time had passed that they should be expecting more arrivals from the Dimensional Interfacer at any time... Withered Hope Sure enough, the group was joined by three new arrivals (though not before Bug Bite managed to sneak off again). Though Bad Boy was nervous at first, fearing being incarcerated again, Treds reassured him that the vehicles were on their side. Admiral Man-O-War, Rest-Q, and The BuggyMan then introduced themselves. Road Ranger was suspicious of the latter, convinced that he was just Bug Bite in yet another new body. Bad Boy vouched for his fellow Renegade (though he was sure to mention they weren't friends). The group then set out for the local Autobots' base, splitting their aerial and earthbound members into separate groups. Sunrise
*The G1 GoBots toy is intended to be the character from GoBots. His name does not appear in any of the final product material; it only appears in an early photoshopped promotional image on the e-HOBBY website. The individual toys' names were dropped when Takara's legal department became concerned at how Bandai—the company that made the toys that would become the GoBots—would react to the names being used, despite the minimal chance of provable trademark infringement on Takara's part.
*Bad Boy's coloration is similar to an early version of the toy that only appeared in an early Japanese Transformers catalog; all five 1985 Mini Vehicles in this image had color differences from the final versions. This proto-Powerglide had a more olive body instead of Bad Boy's gray, however. The reason for the color change in the final toy is unknown.
:Holi is an Autobot Micromaster from the Generation 1 continuity family.

As leadership material, Holi (ホーリー Hōrī) isn't exactly cut from the right cloth. He's young, but so is the rest of the Rescue Patrol Team, and though he is the most mature of them all, that isn't saying much. Holi likes to hang out with Star Saber's human son, Jan, in his spare time. While a goof-off most of the time, when there's trouble he's quick to act. He is a fast-thinker and a resourceful one at that. But despite that, he tends to point out the fact that he is the leader of the Rescue Patrol. He misses his home planet of Micro greatly, mostly due to the fact that his girlfriend is there (something the rest of the Rescue Patrol enjoys riding him on).

Holi spent much of his time hanging around with Jan—possibly more than is healthy—but they shared a close friendship. He was smarter than he seemed, as he apparently built Jan's hover-pod, without which the kid couldn't get around Autobot bases half as quickly as he did. He also showed pretty serious guts for such a tiny fellow; it took a certain kind of spunk to try a flying pounce on Leozack. Too bad he forgot about Leozack's little buddy.

Just when it seemed Holi's only purpose on Earth was to babysit Jan and occasionally take part in a skirmish, he got outed. He wasn't just any Micromaster—he was none other than the leader of the Rescue Patrol Team! Though a bit scatterbrained in his early approach, he quickly proved he was no slouch when it counted and led his team on a successful operation the very day they finally showed up. {{storylink|Move Out!

Following the destruction of Deathsaurus's asteroid plant, Star Saber was called on to take care of some problems on Micro. Apparently, Ginrai was more than a little busy elsewhere in the sector. The Rescue Patrol Team went along. Planet Micro - The Mysterious Warrior

After Blue Bacchus and Black Shadow were taken care of, Leozack and crew showed up looking to bust their pal Guyhawk out of the prison on Micro's moon. Even with the ex-mercenary Greatshot helping them out (to Holi's initial dismay), the Autobots couldn't stop Guyhawk's release by Hellbat. With the prison falling down around them and a rather large lava pit beneath them, Holi looked on in bemusement as Greatshot attempted to sway his former colleague to the Autobot side. Guyhawk wasn't having it and blasted the Six Changer, who tumbled into the lava pit, then made good his escape with the rest of the Breastforce close behind. Holi then proved himself not only a true Autobot by staying to pull Greatshot from the pit, but ridiculously strong for a Micromaster while he was at it. The only thing that stopped him from pulling Greatshot from the pit unassisted was the ground giving way under his feet. Luckily, Star Saber arrived just in time to save them both from gravity's merciless clutches. Rescue! Guyhawk

Holi then naturally took the opportunity to visit his girlfriend, Clipper, despite the good-natured ribbing his teammates gave him about it. After all, what self-respecting bot wouldn't pay a visit to his girl with a cadre of powerful Decepticon warriors on the loose? Holi was rewarded for his thoughtfulness when he and Clipper, out for a drive and a little bit of catch-up after his long absence from Micro, stumbled upon an argument between Hellbat and Deathcobra. The loving couple were subsequently witness to Deathcobra's murder and given the blame by a panicking Hellbat, who ran off and told his tale to the rest of the Breastforce. For some reason, they bought the story and stormed off to take revenge for their fallen comrade. On the Micromasters who killed him. The pair were still conveniently at the scene and would have been scrap had it not been for the timely intervention of Star Saber. Unite! Liokaiser
The Micro Change series was one of the two major sources of molds for the original Transformers line.

Micro Change was a subline of Takara's successful New Microman line of the early '80s, which consisted of 3.75" action figures that were super-posable and vehicles and robots for use by them. The Microman figures, unlike all subsequent 3.75" action figures (except their Western counterpart the Micronauts, made by Mego Corporation using licensed Microman molds) were on a 1:1 scale rather than representing full-sized humans/aliens/robots, so the transforming robots and vehicles they created had ordinary household objects (such as, um, handguns) as disguise modes. Many of the Micro Change figures came in multiple color schemes, many of which were eventually used for the Transformers line.

Fiction
By the time the Micro Change theme was introduced in 1983, the Microman story was told exclusively through text and manga pages in the toys' pack-in catalogues, with no tie-in fiction. This was no doubt part of the reason why Takara were willing to cancel the Microman line in favor of Transformers when Hasbro financed an animated series to promote their versions of the toys.
Due to the speaker plug, the transforming micro cassettes could not fit in the tape door. They could, however, fit in a compartment in the toy's back.

The figure wasn't released in the Transformers line until Generation 2 in 1993 as Autobot, but Takara had previously released it in North America in the Kronoform line. The Facebook edition of Ask Vector Prime later created retroactive identities for the other three decoes as Meantime, Ephemeris, and Azimuth.
It came with blue inner arms and legs, and was either black with a brown grip, or grey with a black grip in gun mode. The grey version was used for all vintage Japanese Megatrons (The Goodbye Megatron set came with the U.N.C.L.E. scope and attachment bracket).
Due to the speaker plug, the transforming micro cassettes could not fit in the tape door. They could, however, fit in a compartment in the toy's back. The earphone plug could also fit in the small hole on the stock of the toys gun, and the speaker could fit in the large hole at the gun's center. The toy came in either blue or red. The red deco was used for Blaster.

Diaclone (ダイアクロン Daiakuron) was one of two Takara toy lines (the other being Micro Change) from which the earliest Generation 1 Transformers toys came.

The Diaclone toyline was first introduced in 1980 and its focus was on the sci-fi robots and mecha rather than the pilot minifigures, but it was not until March 1982 that toys with alt modes based on realistic, present-day vehicles began to appear as part of the "Car Robots" sub-line. The first one was the Diaclone predecessor of Sunstreaker, whom Hasbro now considers the first fully-fledged transforming car-to-robot toy ever designed. Its vehicle form was based on an older Takara toy, the "Cosmo Countach" from the Microman "Micro Command" sub-line released in 1978, which transformed into a half-robot, half-car hybrid.

Before the Transformers brand was introduced, Takara directly exported some Diaclone toys to North America under the brand names Diakron and Kronoform, but those lines met with very little success. French toy company Joustra also released various Diaclone figures in Europe under the original Japanese name (sporting unique box art), a few exclusive Revell model kits and even an accompanying mini-comic series, but these also faded into obscurity.

In 1983, Hasbro representatives discovered Diaclone and Microchange toys at the Tokyo Toy Show, and soon struck a deal to create the Transformers brand.

The 1984 and 1985 Autobot Cars, 1984 Decepticon Planes, 1985 Dinobots, 1985 Constructicons, "standard" Insecticons, Trainbots, Omnibots, Powerdashers, Jumpstarters, Blitzwing, 1984 Optimus Prime, and 1986 Ultra Magnus toys all originated from Diaclone. The reason why many of these toys feature opening cockpits, hatches, or seats is that Diaclone had presented them as lifeless mecha for small driver figures, which were no longer included in their Transformers incarnation.

When Transformers proved an unqualified success, plans for a 1985 Diaclone line were scrapped, and Transformers was imported to Japan in its place. These aborted toys, which would have been part of a sub-line called Jizai Gattai ("Free Combination") were then incorporated into the Transformers toyline in 1986 as the Aerialbots, Stunticons, Combaticons, Protectobots, and Metroplex.

Diaclone was revived in 2016. In 2020, a new version of Battle Convoy, the toy that became Optimus Prime, was revealed. Will this lead to more re-imaginings of Car Robots toys? Only time will tell.

Toy range (incomplete)
There were two Diaclone releases available. There were many coloring differences between the two but only the most obvious are listed below. The Dinosaur Robo molds became the Dinobots in Transformers. Duh. All of the TF releases had softer plastic in certain places. There were also several differences in decoes between the Diaclone and Transformers versions, mostly the replacement of blue paint with red.
The Train Robo molds were only released as Transformers in Japan during the Headmasters franchise as Raiden and his individual components, the Trainbots. There were two color variations released for the Diaclone line, making 12 individual trains total. Numbers 7-12 are much rarer and were never released as a giftset.
Triplechangers
Only the Jet Fighter Type Triple Changer was ever released in the Transformers line, but the Helicopter Type later inspired three fiction-only characters. Astrotrain and Octane may have been in development when the change to the Transformers brand occurred.
*Dia-Battles — not released as a Transformer but inspired the comic background character Stormbringer. A 2016 remake, DA-01 Dia Battles V2, inspired the Beast Wars: Uprising incarnation of Magmatron.
*Guts Blocker — not released as a Transformer but did inspire a background comic character.
*Fortress X — not released as a Transformer but did inspire a background comic character.
*Warudaros — not released as a Transformer but later inspired the BotCon toy Storm Rider, a successor to Warudaros.
Animated cartoon
Wyatt Toys advertised Diaclone and Microman toys for sale in the Detroit Powell Press. Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac

Notes
*Diaclone is a portmanteau of "diamond" and "cyclone": "strong as a diamond, fast as a cyclone".
*Designs from Diaclone were plagiarized for the Korean animated movie Diatron 5 (다이아트론5), which for a time haunted Walmart dollar bins as Space Transformers.
*Like Transformers after it, Diaclone was also released in other countries, in some cases licensed to other companies:
**Takara themselves had a short run in the U.S. market under the name Diakron, featuring three toys that were later released as Transformers in different colors.
**Italian company GiG initially released toys under the name Diaclone, but soon changed it to Trasformer sic. Whether GiG was copying Hasbro or the other way round is unclear; however, Trasformer did feature a blend of Diaclone toys and elements original to Hasbro's Transformers line, possibly due to production reasons.
**French company Joustra released the toys under the name Diaclone in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany, featuring a blend of Micro Change and Diaclone toys with unique packaging designs and origin stories, but eventually sporting factory-applied Autobot or Decepticon stickers, also due to production reasons.
**Takara themselves released toys in Finland under the name Diaclone, sharing elements of the packaging design with GiG's Trasformer line. This release is notable for a unique black version of the Corvette Stingray (pre-Tracks).
*General Motors stopped using the "Stingray" name after the 1976 model year. Though the Corvette mold is obviously a 1980 to 1982 model year, Takara incorrectly called it a Stingray.

The following list covers all Diaclone releases that were later rereleased as Transformers toys. Diaclone molds with no Transformers releases are generally not listed as they fall outside the purview of this site.
There were also several differences in decoes between the Diaclone and Transformers versions, mostly the replacement of blue paint with red.
There were two color variations released for the Diaclone line, making 12 individual trains total. ==Notes==
Enemy takes his name seriously. He defines himself by his opposition to others; he likes to say that the long list of people who hate him shows just how important he is. It doesn't make him a great teammate. In fact, Enemy goes out of his way to not cooperate with his fellow Decepticons, solely to ensure that they don't like him.

On the other hand, his unnatural ability to be despised comes in handy on the battlefield. Enemy is cunning enough to goad the most important of his opponents into focusing on him, drawing them away from their friends and objectives and seriously compromising their usefulness.
With Soundwave and the other Decepticon cassettes, Enemy was part of an attack on the Ark to steal the new Transform Super Cog in the late 1980s. Enemy attempted to finish off the Jumpstarters, but his attack was blocked in time by Nightstalker. Slugslinger's Ambition

2019 IDW continuity
An infiltration trooper, Enemy, who chose his name, fell in with the Rise in the era that followed the War of the Threefold Spark. He was eventually ordered to sneak into the Winged Moon where he installed an energon siphon. Unable to fly a shuttle on his own, Enemy hid himself aboard one, waiting to be shuttled off the moon when Vigilem brought the Tether down.

When the Titan did so, Enemy's shuttle was the only one left behind. When the Winged Moon drifted towards the Croaton Cloud, Lancer flew the shuttle above the debris field, noticing Enemy's anomalous alternate mode when she touched down and took the infiltration trooper prisoner. Chained up, Enemy was briefly interrogated before being put under Huffer's watch who told him that he would be left behind in the event of an evacuation. Wheeljack: Orbital Decay

After the engineers had saved the moon, it was attacked by Team Stream. Unable to properly hold him, the scientists dumped Enemy somewhere where he was found, by random chance, by Shadow Striker's team, joining in on their mission to steal the moon. Enemy was last seen alongside Blackjack and Sunstorm, trying to breach the moon's command centre before the engineers detonated a jury-rigged black hole that propelled the three back to the surface. When the Risers later retreated, they noted that Enemy had vanished. War World: Moon

Origins
By virtue of the standard sorting order of fiction, toys, and merchandise established by , Enemy's history with the Transformers brand comes across a little muddled on this page. Here's a quick chronological order:

The color scheme originally started out as one of the three alternate variants of the "MC-01 Micross" toy from Takara's Micro Change line. When Hasbro decided to release some of the Micro Change figures as part of their Transformers line in 1984, they picked the version colored in two different shades of blue to become Frenzy, while using the black and red color scheme of the version that came packaged with Cassette Man to become Rumble. (The cartoon then swapped the two characters' color schemes; see "FIRRIB" for that mess.)

The unused red and blue Micro Change color scheme would subsequently inspire two licensed toys released by Nasta, the non-transforming "AM Radio & Headset" Decepticon and then the "Electronic Voice Changer", both of which were identified simply by the somewhat odd designation "Enemy" on their packaging, in the same location where Hasbro's toys would have the character's name. This in turn resulted in many fans treating both toys as representations of an actual character named "Enemy", just like the Autobot-aligned "AM Radio" and "Mini Headset Radio" toys were both given the equally odd designation "Freedom Fighter". However, it's not entirely clear if it was actually Nasta's intention to have those toys represent a separate character named "Enemy"—after all, another Nasta product, the "AM Wireless Microphone", which was very unmistakably supposed to represent Megatron, was also identified as "Decepticon—Enemy", although in that case, that entire designation was treated as its faction (or faction/function, in the same manner Hasbro's own Megatron toy is labeled "Decepticon Leader"), whereas the "character" was simply called… "Microphone". Yeaaaaaah.

In any regard, being the only official name ever assigned to that particular color scheme, TakaraTomy, never shy of resorting to obscure inspirations as an excuse to release a redeco of an existing toy, used it for a reissue of the original toy in its unused Micro Change colors as part of the Encore line, and subsequently also for a redeco of the Masterpiece Rumble/Frenzy sculpt.

Toys
Encore
:Encore Enemy is a red and dark blue redeco of the Rumble/Frenzy mold, based on the red version of the Micro Change MC-01 Micross toy. He was included with Encore Soundblaster and Wingthing. As was the case with the other cassettes previously released with Soundblaster, Enemy sports a different sticker in place of his cassette spool image; an image of Fortress Maximus which reveals the city-bot's weak spots when viewed through Soundblaster's clear-red chest door (in the same way Tech Spec decoders work).

: As he uses the Encore tooling, he cannot hold his guns "normally", thanks to an added raised bump on the inner wing-side stabilizer (in addition to the bump on the minigun-side stabilizer present in the prior iterations of the mold). However, the raised bits do fit around the elbow joint, and make for an incredibly snug fit. But this also makes it effectively impossible for him to point his guns straight forward.
:Enemy first appeared in 1984 as part of a working AM radio & headset, a piece of merchandise made by Nasta under the "Power Tronic" imprimatur. Featuring a large wearable Decepticon symbol belt-clip, removing this item revealed Enemy, a solid red (with blue thighs and upper arms) simplification of the Rumble/Frenzy mold. Permanently attached to the radio, Enemy could not be removed without breakage, but could nevertheless transform in situ. The radio came in both red and purple.
A large disembodied head, Enemy again looked like a red Frenzy/Rumble, but this time with proper silver face detailing. If a kid talked into a headset that plugged into Enemy's noggin, their voice would be modified to sound robotic.

:The first version was the blue-body, grey-limb cassette used for Frenzy. A black-body, red-limb version, used for Rumble, came with Cassette Man. Towards the end of the line, a red-body, blue-limb version was released.
In 2007, Jaguar was redecoed into Glit (later repurposed as Shattered Glass Ravage) and then Stripes in 2012.

:This figure transformed from a robot to a watch. It came in chrome, black, blue, and gold versions.

* MC-07 Gun Robo 1910 Browning

:Browning came with either red or blue robot parts, in addition to a gold chromed contest piece. The blue version was released as the Japanese exclusive Browning.

* MC-08 Cassette Machine Battlebike

:The Battlebike transforms from a full-sized audio cassette into a motorbike vehicle for the included Microman figure. A redeco of this toy was released in the 1999 Microman line.

* MC-09 Cassette Machine Jetheli

:The Jetheli transforms from a full-sized audio cassette into a helicopter for the included Microman figure. A redeco of this toy was re-released in the 1999 Microman line.

* MC-10 Cassette Man

:Pre-TF Soundwave with "Cassette Man" molded on the cassette door. He came with fake earphones and microphone that were also included in Soundwave's Japanese release, and Pre-Rumble. Likewise, the Japanese Soundwave came with Rumble instead of Buzzsaw.

:This figure had a revolving chamber, and came with either a brown or gold hilt. Ask Vector Prime would establish that this figure represents the Cymond analog of Kiloton.

* MC-12 Gun Robo Walther P-38.

:Pre-Japanese Megatron. This toy did not include any gun attachments (and lacked the tooling to attach them anyway), but had a gun, sword, and plastic pellets which it could fire. It came with blue inner arms and legs, and was either black with a brown grip, or grey with a black grip in gun mode. The grey version was used for all vintage Japanese Megatrons (The Goodbye Megatron set came with the U.N.C.L.E. scope and attachment bracket).

* MC-13 Gun Robo Walther P-38 U.N.C.L.E.

:This figure came with all of MC-12's parts, as well as the gun extensions. Only one color scheme, silver with black handle in gun mode with red inner arms and legs, was released. This color scheme was used for all Hasbro releases of the original Megatron and the Japanese reissues. The toy was also released by e-HOBBY as Megaplex, using the MC-12 grey/blue deco, as well as a new "Black Megatron" deco in dark chrome, black plastic in place of grey, brown handle, and red inner sections.
:This figure transforms from a robot into a metallic ball. It came with two guns that could either be wielded in robot mode or attached to the sides in ball mode and a circular base upon which the ball mode could sit.

:Two versions were available, the more common silver chrome with black plastic accessories and robot parts or the considerably rarer bluish-silver chrome with red plastic accessories and robot parts. This mold (minus accessories) didn't see release in Transformers until Beast Wars Eggbot and Dark Eggbot, where it was retooled to include a keychain. This keychain retool was later (again without accessories) used for Kiss Players Star Dust.

* MC-15 Metal Leo
This keychain retool was later (again without accessories) used for Kiss Players Angela.

* MC-16 Metal Hawk

:This figure transforms from a hawk into a metallic ball. It came with two guns that could either be wielded in hawk mode or attached to the sides in ball mode and a circular base upon which the ball mode could sit.

:Two versions were available, the more common gold chrome with black plastic accessories or the considerably rarer silver chrome with red plastic accessories. This mold (minus accessories) didn't see release in Transformers until Beast Wars Eggbird and Dark Eggbird where it was retooled to include a keychain. This keychain retool was later (again without accessories) used for Kiss Players Zangetsu.

* MC-17 Kagiobo Dialman

* MC-20 Micro Scope

: Released in a primarily black deco, MC-20 was recolored into Perceptor. The third tank mode could be used as a vehicle for a Microman figure. The toy's Micro Change deco was used for the e-HOBBY exclusive Magnificus (and Shattered Glass Perceptor).

* MC-21 Radi-Cassette Robo

:This figure came with an AM radio in the form of a fake Micro cassette, and an earphone. One could listen to the radio through the earphone, or put the radio in the main toy's cassette deck. After moving the switch above the left (non-functional) speaker "on" and pressing "play", a pair of batteries in the toy's right leg would amplify the signal from the cassette to the functional right speaker. A knob to the right of the tape door could change the station, and a volume knob and a plug for headphones were located on the toy's left leg.

Construction Vehicle Robo
There were two Diaclone releases available. There were many coloring differences between the two but only the most obvious are listed below. All six received new green and purple decos for release in the Transformers line.
Dinosaur Robo
The Dinosaur Robo molds became the Dinobots in Transformers. Duh. All of the TF releases had softer plastic in certain places. There were also several differences in decoes between the Diaclone and Transformers versions, mostly the replacement of blue paint with red.

*Tyrannosaurus (Grimlock)
*Triceratops (Slag)
*Celica XX (Downshift)

F-15 Robo
The F-15 Robo mold was the source for the Seekers. The black and purple deco used for Skywarp was created for the Transformers line, and was never available as a Diaclone. The decoes and remolded wings for the Coneheads were also original to The Transformers.

* Super-high-speed fighter type (Starscream)
* Acrobat type (Thundercracker)

Insecter Robo
In Diaclone, these were mechs used by the Waruders, the "bad guys" of that universe. In Transformers they were released as the Insecticons with new purple, black, and yellow decoes. Much later, the Diaclone decoes were released as the e-HOBBY exclusive Insecticon Clones.

*Kabutron (Bombshell/Salvo)
*Battas (Kickback/Shothole)
*Kuwagatrer (Shrapnel/Zaptrap)

Train Robo
The Train Robo molds were only released as Transformers in Japan during the Headmasters franchise as Raiden and his individual components, the Trainbots. There were two color variations released for the Diaclone line, making 12 individual trains total. Numbers 7-12 are much rarer and were never released as a giftset.
Triplechangers
Only the Jet Fighter Type Triple Changer was ever released in the Transformers line, but the Helicopter Type later inspired three fiction-only characters. Astrotrain and Octane may have been in development when the change to the Transformers brand occurred.

*No. 1 Jet Fighter Type (redecoed in purple and beige as Blitzwing, original Diaclone dark green and white deco later released as Overcharge)
*No. 2 Helicopter Type (Rotorbolt/Skyklik, original blue deco. Fumes sports a unique fully gray deco)

Other
*Dia-Battles — not released as a Transformer but inspired the comic background character Stormbringer. A 2016 remake, DA-01 Dia Battles V2, inspired the Beast Wars: Uprising incarnation of Magmatron.
*Guts Blocker — not released as a Transformer but did inspire a background comic character.
*Fortress X — not released as a Transformer but did inspired a background comic character.
*Warudaros — not released as a Transformer but later inspired the BotCon toy Storm Rider, a successor to Warudaros.
