While in the film Starscream's voice is neurotic and whiny, the video game voice is dark and sinister, magnified greatly by some ''crazy'' heavy electronic amplification that pushes Adler's voice to the point of being virtually unrecognizable. To draw a more direct comparison, his voice in the game sounds more like the movie version of [[Megatron (Movie)|Megatron]] than [[Frank Welker]] does! Strangely enough, they seem to have kept his "normal" Starscream voice for phrases spoken by the G1 incarnation of the character during multiplayer.
