Crystalocution is an ancient martial art. ==Notes==
*It is likely that Crystalocution is a nod to "Hokuto Shinken", the martial art used by the protagonist of the popular '80s anime Fist of the North Star, wherein opponents are (often explosively) dispatched by striking their pressure points. This in turn is based on the various less bloody real-life martial arts that specialize in utilizing the pressure points.
Overview
Another Light is, broadly speaking, the culmination of every dangling storyline that the Transformers Collectors' Club has told since its inception in 2005, bringing everything to a conclusive, but open, ending. Set in the Shattered Glass reality, it is a "Shattered" version of The Transformers: The Movie that directly follows up on the 2012 comic "Invasion" and the 2013 club comic arc Beast Wars Shattered Glass, incorporating resolutions to the story of Nexus Prime and his search for the Star Saber, begun in the very first Club story back in 2005, and to the tale of Rarified Energon, introduced in 2007. Towards its climax, Fun Publications' 2015 TransTech Facebook story blogs even tied into the comic as its storyline evolved to affect the entire multiverse.

The story arc's title references the starship Lost Light in IDW's ongoing The Transformers: More than Meets the Eye comic series. What it refers to in-story, however, is something you probably did not expect.

Synopsis
Departing prehistoric "Shatteredverse" Earth with the recovered Origin Matrix via an interdimensional portal, Ultra Mammoth and his crew arrive on the present-day Shatteredverse Cybertron and ally themselves with the native heroic Decepticons. This strange mirror universe has just recently become home to Autobot refugees from their home universe, the "Classicsverse", as well as the entire Classicsverse Earth, transplanted there to escape the destruction of the Classicsverse at the hands of the Shatteredverse Ultra Magnus. Soon, the heroes are forced to split into two groups to deal with threats that emerge on the two Earths.

Mammoth takes a team to the Classicsverse Earth to stop his evil counterpart's continued schemes. During Mammoth and Magnus's battle, Nexus Prime arrives on the last step of his multiversal journey and reclaims the Origin Matrix, which turns out to be the final piece of the fragmented Star Saber. Using the reformed Saber, Nexus banishes Ultra Magnus to another dimension, then uses the combined power of the Saber and the Terminus Blade to heal the damage Magnus's actions have wrought upon the multiverse. As a consequence of this strengthening of the walls between dimensions, multiversal singularities cease to exist, leading a "good" Unicron and an "evil" Primus to come into being in the Shatteredverse.

Simultaneously, Galvatron leads reinforcements to the Shatteredverse Earth to defend Decepticon City against an attack by Optimus Prime's evil Autobots. Rodimus interferes with Optimus and Galvatron's duel, allowing Galvatron to claim victory; then, as the Autobots flee back to Cybertron, Rodimus has Optimus's wounded body ejected from Sky Lynx. Optimus is found by Unicron and recreated as the heroic Nova Prime, and is then sent to Cybertron to dispatch Rodimus. Rodimus survives the assassination attempt, and is recruited by the evil Primus, who then transforms Cybertron into his body. Primus attacks the Classicsverse Earth, but the Rarified Energon hidden on the planet is revealed to contain the lifeforce of Gaea, long-forgotten sister to Primus and Unicron. Gaea teleports the Classicverse humans to the safety of another Earth in a parallel dimension, then transforms Earth into her body and destroys Primus in battle. Afterwards, Gaea transforms back into planet mode, becoming a new Cybertron that is jointly ruled over by the allied Shatteredverse Decepticons and Classicsverse Autobots.
Whether artwork was produced and whether the inner robots for the shells were given prototypes is unknown, but the two prototype shells have been spotted in two color schemes each. The four-armed spider creature has been seen in a black-and-grey deco as well as a predominantly brown deco. The shells are of the same size as the 1989 normal Pretenders. Unlike most other Pretenders, it seems the Double Pretenders were to be opened at the back to insert or remove the inner robots, rather than down the middle.

: Oilmaster is a redeco of Generations Legends Class Swerve and Flanker, which fit together into a newly-sculpted Pretender shell designed by Boss Fight Studio after the original unreleased Oilmaster toy. The Swerve redeco is colored to resemble Oilmaster's inner robot from "Badlands". The shell has shoulder and neck rotational joints (the neck being a first for Pretender shells), 5 mm post-holes in its wrists, plus two 5 mm holes on its back for weapon storage. Unlike most Pretenders, the shell does not split in half to store the inner robots: instead the backpack swings up on a hinge for access to the inner cavity, with the truck slotting into the backpack-part proper, and the jet pegging into a post-hole inside the body.

: His shell weapons are from Construct-Bots sets, notably Optimus Prime's sword and Megatron's blaster rifle.

: Oilmaster was available exclusively in the 2015 five-figure box set, packaged with Battletrap, Packrat, Megatron, and Stepper.

:The shell was redecoed for TFSS 5.0 Optimus Prime (see below). The inner robot mold was also used to make TFSS 5.0 Quickslinger and Hi-Q. It also served as the basis of the non-toy Shattered Glass incarnation of Swerve.
He reuses the blaster from his Legends Class figure while the shell's ion cannon is recolored from the one included with Generations Orion Pax.

:He also comes with Hi-Q (a redeco of Flanker) and a Pretender shell redecoed from Oilmaster's, and it was decorated after the original unreleased grey-and-red gorilla shell.

:Combiner Wars Double Pretender Megatron is a redeco of his Legends Class toy, with his coloration based on his canceled Generation 2 "arctic-camo" Combat Hero Megatron toy. He also comes with Spacewarp (a redeco of Generations Payload) and his Pretender shell, which is redecoed from Grand Maximus's. Double Pretender Megatron also comes with a joint piece for Spacewarp to let her fit in the shell along with Megatron. This joint piece is sculpted to resemble the large chromed laser cannon that the original G1 Megatron toy came with. His Pretender shell weapons are black repaints of Titans Return Sentinel Prime's rifle and Voyager Class Optimus Prime's sword.

:There are two ways to make Megatron and Spacewarp fit into the shell:
::1. Fiddle the Megatron figure into a different position, and insert the joint piece on his chest to allow Spacewarp to attach on it.
::2. If the joint piece doesn't work due to its tolerance, rearrange Megatron in a slightly different position, and peg Spacewarp into Megatron's arm.
Notes
* In an interview, Vinnie D'Alleva referred to these Pretenders as the "Monster Pretenders". Whether that was actually supposed to be their name or if D'Alleva got them confused with the other Pretender combiner group is not clear.
* A prototype pretender shell with a strong resemblance to Groundbreaker's was displayed alongside the two double pretenders at BotCon 1996. Whether it actually had any connection to the concept is unknown.
