Regarding "sending them flying through the air with enough force to break the lenses on the prototype." — it's actually a gun, not a MECH dude, which breaks the lens. Likely unintentional, but June seems strangely disappointed that Optimus isn't around during her visit, claiming that she "wore heels and everything". Jack feels... uncomfortable about the idea.
