Riding on the ferry, [[Cody Burns]] takes lookout to try and see a rumored sea monster that [[Arthur Shaw|Captain Shaw]] claims had circled the ferry on three other days. The ferry is moments later hit by chunks of ice and an iceberg suddenly appears. [[Charlie Burns|Chief Burns]] yanks Cody out of the way of some falling ice, and orders [[Chase (RB)|Chase]] to put some space between the ferry and the iceberg. Once they're safe, Cody wonder what an iceberg is doing in this warm weather, and thinks he sees someone walking around on the ice. Chief Burns throws his commlink onto the iceberg so they can track it later.

Some time later, [[Blades (RB)|Blades]] tracks the signal, though he tells [[Dani Burns|Dani]] he wants to fly higher to avoid sea monsters. They land on the iceberg where Cody spots an iced-over control panel. When ge presses a button on it, a cargo hold hatch opens under Blades's feet, and they realize the iceberg's actually a ship covered in ice. Cody finds the log book identifying it as the [[S.S. Isolde]] and contacts the fire station while Dani searches for passengers. Chief Burns says the ship was used to transport technology to [[Griffin Rock]], but was lost in [[1966]] when some cargo became unstable. Cody's fascinated to learn that the captain was [[Zachary Burns]], his great grandfather, and wants to retrieve a portrait of the elder Burns from the wall, but it's frozen on. The trio on the ship find the cargo causing the deep freeze, but when Blades tries to shut it off, it powers up ''more'' and freezes him. Once he's defrosted, Cody grabs the log book, and they return to base.

Graham reports that he's learned from [[Doc Greene]] that the cargo causing the problem is the [[Sub-Zero Expander]], originally intended to bolster [[Earth]]'s ice caps. [[Kade Burns|Kade]] and [[Heatwave (RB)|Heatwave]] suggest the safest course is to blow it up, and Chief Burns agrees. While the team heads out on the ''[[Darby Ava]]'', Cody is forced to stay back at base and starts reading the log book. The Bots soon have a couple of bombs installed on the iceberg, but as they move away, Cody spots something that looks like a shark near the iceberg. Not wanting to endanger anything living, Blades and Heatwave dispose of the bombs, and the shark approaches their boat, only to reveal itself to be a [[shark submarine]] — [[Thaddeus Morocco|Doctor Morocco]] is claiming the Isolde as salvage. Rushing back to the S.S. Isolde, the team evicts Morocco back into his submarine, but with the Sub-Zero Expander going overloading, the humans only just have time to jump into the Rescue Bots before it goes off. The ocean freezes right up to the Griffin Rock shoreline, trapping the ferry. The Rescue Bots are also frozen solid, with the humans unable to get out. [[Boulder]] manages to move, but just ends up falling and landing upside down. Cody starts out across the ice on the [[Turbo Cycle (RB)|Turbo Cycle]], and a number of impatient drivers on the ferry start driving their cars back towards shore. The youngest Burns soon reaches the Isolde and defrosts the bots, but they realize that the ice is starting to melt at the edges, endangering the drivers from the ferry. The four Rescue Bots race on ahead, and are able to save the four drivers as the ice begins to break apart. Meanwhile the rest of the team run into problems as ice busts a hole in the ''Darby Ava'' and the ship starts to sink. Help comes in an unlikely form as the boat is hoisted out of the water on the back of Morocco's shark submarine. As the Bots safely return the four drivers to shore, they witness the ''Darby Ava'' being dropped off shortly before Morocco's sub submerges once more.

Chief Burns and Cody later wonder if Morocco got away with any useful tech, only to hear the doorbell — they find a package from Doctor Morocco containing the portrait of Zachery Burns from the ship. Elsewhere, Morocco cracks open one of the crates, and is delighted at the contents...

==Synopsis==
The [[Autobot]]s storm the ''[[Trypticon (WFC)|Nemesis]]'' via the outer hull, while [[Ratchet (WFC)|Ratchet]] lets them know he's heading for the [[Omega Lock]]'s control station. As he approaches the ship, [[Optimus Prime (WFC)|Optimus]] orders [[Arcee (WFC)|Arcee]]'s team to join Ratchet while [[Ultra Magnus (WFC)|Ultra Magnus]] and the [[Wrecker]]s take the bridge. Arcee asks if they should destroy the lock, but Optimus intends to use it to restore [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]]. [[Smokescreen (Prime)|Smokescreen]] has to be prompted to follow the others when he's momentarily distracted by the sight of [[Megatron (WFC)|Megatron]] arriving on the top of the ship to face Prime. The Decepticon leader uses the [[Dark Star Saber]] to damage Optimus's jet pack. Optimus manages to land on one of the lower spires and starts climbing up.

Telling them he has something he needs to do, Smokescreen leaves Arcee and [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]]. Meanwhile, Ratchet reaches the control station and begins fighting [[Shockwave (WFC)|Shockwave]]. Arcee and Bumblebee approach the control station, as well, but they're cut off by [[Starscream (WFC)|Starscream]] and a bunch of Seekers who open fire on them. While this is going on, [[Knock Out (Prime)|Knock Out]] packs for a sudden journey he has to make right now. Smokescreen soon reaches the warship's storage area and retrieves the [[Star Saber (Prima)|Star Saber]].

Ultra Magnus and his team reach the bridge; however, their attempt is cut short by [[Soundwave (WFC)|Soundwave]], who [[GroundBridge]]s them to another part of the ship, where they're quickly surrounded. Ultra Magnus notifies everyone that his team has been delayed, which gives [[Jack Darby|Jack]] an idea. He asks [[Raf Esquivel|Raf]] to bridge him onto the ''Nemesis'' bridge as he's come up with a plan.

On the warship, Shockwave finishes pummeling Ratchet, but is interrupted by the Omega Lock signalling that it's ready to fire. As he opens the huge portal to prepare for firing, he spots Optimus hanging out on the Omega Lock's structure and is forced to take cover as Optimus opens fire. Megatron soon arrives to engage Optimus directly and orders Shockwave to begin the firing sequence.

Knock Out, wandering the corridors, finds himself cut off by the fighting. The bridge, meanwhile, is invaded by Jack and an [[Apex Armor (Prime)|Apex Armor]]-clad [[Miko Nakadai|Miko]]. She quickly finishes off the Vehicons on duty, but Soundwave advances on her with an open GroundBridge. Jack tells Raf to open a GroundBridge right next to Soundwave, and the conflicting bridge energies promptly transport Soundwave into the [[shadowzone (dimension)|shadowzone]]. As Jack and Miko head to the controls, the Omega Lock begins powering up on the bottom of the ship. On its rim, Optimus and Megatron continue to battle, with Optimus knocking the Dark Star Saber from Megatron's grip and decking him. Megatron orders Shockwave to prepare to fire, but is interrupted by the ship lurching while under Jack's control.

Down below, Smokescreen passes Arcee and Bumblebee, carrying the Star Saber into the Omega Lock control room. He attempts to throw the sword down to Optimus, only to be blasted by Shockwave. Arcee, Bumblebee, Starscream and Shockwave all run for the weapon, but Arcee takes out Starscream, and Bumblebee reaches it first, decking Shockwave before grabbing the saber in midair. Ratchet warns Optimus he must use the Star Saber to destroy the Omega Lock; however, as Bumblebee jumps to pass the weapon to Optimus, he's blasted repeatedly by Megatron. As other Autobots watch in horror, Bumblebee dies. He plunges lifelessly into the Omega Lock's energy field.

Outraged, Optimus smacks Megatron around, only to be knocked off the Omega Lock when Megatron recovers the Dark Star Saber. As Prime clings to the side, Megatron prepares to finish the Autobot off, only to turn around in response to someone calling his name. Bumblebee runs him through with the Star Saber, and as everyone looks on in shock, Megatron dies, his body falling from the Omega Lock and plunging Earthward. Bumblebee helps Optimus climb up as the remaining [[Decepticon]]s scramble to escape. As the Autobots reunite, they marvel at the fact that Bumblebee has his voice back, and Optimus passes on the news to Magnus's team and [[Hangar E]] that Megatron has perished. With the ship now under Autobot control, Optimus orders Magnus to set course for Cybertron. Bumblebee radios Raf to let him know to come up so he can be there for the restoration of Cybertron.

As the ship passes through the [[space bridge]], Starscream and Shockwave reach the escape pods to find there's only one left. They cram into it and eject, though Starscream complains about the cramped conditions. Ratchet explains that he does not have the complete formula to synthesize cyber-matter, and the current amount was intended to cyberform Earth, not the much larger Cybertron. Optimus directs the ship to the [[Well of All Sparks]], so they can revitalize Cybertron's core. The beam of energy strikes Cybertron's core, and the planet is soon completely restored and glowing a healthy blue. On the bridge, Knock Out admires the planet's new luster, and claims to be "joining the winning team", only to be decked by Miko. [[Predaking (Prime)|Predaking]], still clinging to the hull, looks out over Cybertron before transforming and flying off.

Back on Earth, Optimus gives a speech about how they're going to miss [[Earth]]. [[Smokescreen (Prime)|Smokescreen]] has to be prompted to follow the others when he's momentarily distracted by the sight of [[Megatron (WFC)|Megatron]] arriving on the top of the ship to face Prime. The Decepticon leader uses the [[Dark Star Saber]] to damage Optimus's jet pack. Optimus manages to land on one of the lower spires and starts climbing up.

Telling them he has something he needs to do, Smokescreen leaves Arcee and [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]]. Meanwhile, Ratchet reaches the control station and begins fighting [[Shockwave (WFC)|Shockwave]]. Arcee and Bumblebee approach the control station, as well, but they're cut off by [[Starscream (WFC)|Starscream]] and a bunch of Seekers who open fire on them. While this is going on, [[Knock Out (Prime)|Knock Out]] packs for a sudden journey he has to make right now. Smokescreen soon reaches the warship's storage area and retrieves the [[Star Saber (Prima)|Star Saber]].

Ultra Magnus and his team reach the bridge; however, their attempt is cut short by [[Soundwave (WFC)|Soundwave]], who [[GroundBridge]]s them to another part of the ship, where they're quickly surrounded. Ultra Magnus notifies everyone that his team has been delayed, which gives [[Jack Darby|Jack]] an idea. He asks [[Raf Esquivel|Raf]] to bridge him onto the ''Nemesis'' bridge as he's come up with a plan.

On the warship, Shockwave finishes pummeling Ratchet, but is interrupted by the Omega Lock signalling that it's ready to fire. As he opens the huge portal to prepare for firing, he spots Optimus hanging out on the Omega Lock's structure and is forced to take cover as Optimus opens fire. Megatron soon arrives to engage Optimus directly and orders Shockwave to begin the firing sequence.

Knock Out, wandering the corridors, finds himself cut off by the fighting. The bridge, meanwhile, is invaded by Jack and an [[Apex Armor (Prime)|Apex Armor]]-clad [[Miko Nakadai|Miko]]. She quickly finishes off the Vehicons on duty, but Soundwave advances on her with an open GroundBridge. Jack tells Raf to open a GroundBridge right next to Soundwave, and the conflicting bridge energies promptly transport Soundwave into the [[shadowzone (dimension)|shadowzone]]. As Jack and Miko head to the controls, the Omega Lock begins powering up on the bottom of the ship. On its rim, Optimus and Megatron continue to battle, with Optimus knocking the Dark Star Saber from Megatron's grip and decking him. Megatron orders Shockwave to prepare to fire, but is interrupted by the ship lurching while under Jack's control.

Arcee, Bumblebee, Starscream and Shockwave all run for the weapon, but Arcee takes out Starscream, and Bumblebee reaches it first, decking Shockwave before grabbing the saber in midair. Ratchet warns Optimus he must use the Star Saber to destroy the Omega Lock; however, as Bumblebee jumps to pass the weapon to Optimus, he's blasted repeatedly by Megatron. As other Autobots watch in horror, Bumblebee dies. He plunges lifelessly into the Omega Lock's energy field.

Outraged, Optimus smacks Megatron around, only to be knocked off the Omega Lock when Megatron recovers the Dark Star Saber. As Prime clings to the side, Megatron prepares to finish the Autobot off, only to turn around in response to someone calling his name. Bumblebee runs him through with the Star Saber, and as everyone looks on in shock, Megatron dies, his body falling from the Omega Lock and plunging Earthward. Bumblebee helps Optimus climb up as the remaining [[Decepticon]]s scramble to escape. As the Autobots reunite, they marvel at the fact that Bumblebee has his voice back, and Optimus passes on the news to Magnus's team and [[Hangar E]] that Megatron has perished. With the ship now under Autobot control, Optimus orders Magnus to set course for Cybertron. Bumblebee radios Raf to let him know to come up so he can be there for the restoration of Cybertron.

As the ship passes through the [[space bridge]], Starscream and Shockwave reach the escape pods to find there's only one left. They cram into it and eject, though Starscream complains about the cramped conditions. Ratchet explains that he does not have the complete formula to synthesize cyber-matter, and the current amount was intended to cyberform Earth, not the much larger Cybertron. Optimus directs the ship to the [[Well of All Sparks]], so they can revitalize Cybertron's core. The beam of energy strikes Cybertron's core, and the planet is soon completely restored and glowing a healthy blue. On the bridge, Knock Out admires the planet's new luster, and claims to be "joining the winning team", only to be decked by Miko. [[Predaking (Prime)|Predaking]], still clinging to the hull, looks out over Cybertron before transforming and flying off.

As the Autobots reunite, they marvel at the fact that Bumblebee has his voice back, and Optimus passes on the news to Magnus's team and [[Hangar E]] that Megatron has perished. With the ship now under Autobot control, Optimus orders Magnus to set course for Cybertron. Bumblebee radios Raf to let him know to come up so he can be there for the restoration of Cybertron.

The [[Autobot]]s storm the ''[[Trypticon (WFC)|Nemesis]]'' via the outer hull, while [[Ratchet (WFC)|Ratchet]] lets them know he's heading for the [[Omega Lock]]'s control station. As he approaches the ship, [[Optimus Prime (WFC)|Optimus]] orders [[Arcee (WFC)|Arcee]]'s team to join Ratchet while [[Ultra Magnus (WFC)|Ultra Magnus]] and the [[Wrecker]]s take the bridge. Arcee asks if they should destroy the lock, but Optimus intends to use it to restore [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]]. [[Smokescreen (Prime)|Smokescreen]] has to be prompted to follow the others when he's momentarily distracted by the sight of [[Megatron (WFC)|Megatron]] arriving on the top of the ship to face Prime. The Decepticon leader uses the [[Dark Star Saber]] to damage Optimus's jet pack. Optimus manages to land on one of the lower spires and starts climbing up.

Telling them he has something he needs to do, Smokescreen leaves Arcee and [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]]. Meanwhile, Ratchet reaches the control station and begins fighting [[Shockwave (WFC)|Shockwave]]. Arcee and Bumblebee approach the control station, as well, but they're cut off by [[Starscream (WFC)|Starscream]] and a bunch of Seekers who open fire on them. While this is going on, [[Knock Out (Prime)|Knock Out]] packs for a sudden journey he has to make right now. Smokescreen soon reaches the warship's storage area and retrieves the [[Star Saber (Prima)|Star Saber]].

Ultra Magnus and his team reach the bridge; however, their attempt is cut short by [[Soundwave (WFC)|Soundwave]], who [[GroundBridge]]s them to another part of the ship, where they're quickly surrounded. Ultra Magnus notifies everyone that his team has been delayed, which gives [[Jack Darby|Jack]] an idea. He asks [[Raf Esquivel|Raf]] to bridge him onto the ''Nemesis'' bridge as he's come up with a plan.

On the warship, Shockwave finishes pummeling Ratchet, but is interrupted by the Omega Lock signalling that it's ready to fire. As he opens the huge portal to prepare for firing, he spots Optimus hanging out on the Omega Lock's structure and is forced to take cover as Optimus opens fire. Megatron soon arrives to engage Optimus directly and orders Shockwave to begin the firing sequence.

Knock Out, wandering the corridors, finds himself cut off by the fighting. The bridge, meanwhile, is invaded by Jack and an [[Apex Armor (Prime)|Apex Armor]]-clad [[Miko Nakadai|Miko]]. She quickly finishes off the Vehicons on duty, but Soundwave advances on her with an open GroundBridge. Jack tells Raf to open a GroundBridge right next to Soundwave, and the conflicting bridge energies promptly transport Soundwave into the [[shadowzone (dimension)|shadowzone]]. As Jack and Miko head to the controls, the Omega Lock begins powering up on the bottom of the ship. On its rim, Optimus and Megatron continue to battle, with Optimus knocking the Dark Star Saber from Megatron's grip and decking him. Megatron orders Shockwave to prepare to fire, but is interrupted by the ship lurching while under Jack's control.

[[Megatron (WFC)|Megatron]] and [[Starscream (WFC)|Starscream]] are both surprised to see [[Shockwave (WFC)|Shockwave]], having believed him dead. Shockwave explains that after his battle with [[Arcee (Prime)|Arcee]] and [[Cliffjumper (WFC)|Cliffjumper]] in the [[space bridge]], he found himself marooned on [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]]. After repairing himself, he continued his experiments until an energy surge led him to [[Knock Out (Prime)|Knock Out]]'s team in the [[Rust Sea|Sea of Rust]]. He asks Starscream pointedly why he was left for dead, and judges the response logical enough. Megatron appoints Shockwave first lieutenant in charge of science, something Starscream doesn't seem that happy with.

[[Jack Darby|Jack]] and Arcee stop at a deserted farmhouse for a break and Jack worries that they're all that's left of Team Prime. Arcee says there are other Autobots out there who escaped in the [[Ark (WFC)|Ark]], but who knows where they are? Meanwhile [[Raf Esquivel|Raf]] is surfing [[Internet|conspiracy websites]] in search of [[Autobot]] sightings. He hits dirt in the form of a photo of [[Ratchet (WFC)|Ratchet]] in a junkyard outside Woodland Park. Starscream, doing likewise, finds the same picture, but before he can draw the other Decepticons' attention to it, Raf replaces the picture with a dancing monkey. To quell Megatron's displeasure, Shockwave suggests using a [[cortical psychic patch]] on [[Wheeljack (Prime)|Wheeljack]]. Meanwhile, [[Bulkhead (Prime)|Bulkhead]] and [[Miko Nakadai|Miko]] are waiting fruitlessly at the Wrecker meeting spot.

Shockwave reports that the patch didn't yield any new information. Starscream announces he'll see to Wheeljack's termination, and soon Wheeljack is standing on a platform over lava. The attendant [[Vehicon (Prime)|Vehicon]]s push Wheeljack towards the edge, but he grabs one of them and throws it off before jumping himself. The Vehicon transforms to flight mode, and Wheeljack lands on its back, proceeding to go on a Vehicon-trashing flight before driving off. Megatron is very upset until Starscream reveals he's planted a tracking device on Wheeljack so the Autobot can lead them to his friends.

Bumblebee and Raf reach the junkyard to find Ratchet sitting in vehicle mode and sporting the surliest mood as the Autobots have patently lost. The pair suggest that they can use the ''Harbinger''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s resources to fight back, but Ratchet has no hope they can do anything, and tells them to leave him alone.

Meanwhile, [[Smokescreen (Prime)|Smokescreen]] has been unable to salvage anything medical from the ruins of the base. When [[Optimus Prime (WFC)|Optimus]] asks about the [[Forge of Solus Prime]], Smokescreen reasons it must be in the fortress somewhere, and goes to look.

Bulkhead and Miko's waiting is finally rewarded by the arrival of Wheeljack. The Decepticons, monitoring Starscream's bug, see that their plan has paid off, and Starscream sends out his Vehicon seekers. The Decepticons arrive at a river, but all they see is a log floating downstream. The log turns out to have both the tracking device and a grenade attached, the latter of which takes them all out. Watching from a nearby hill, Wheeljack reveals how he found the tracking device, and says he has some more explosives.

Raf and Bumblebee try unsuccessfully to power up the ''Harbinger'', only to be pleasantly surprised when Ratchet arrives to help. Elsewhere, Jack and Arcee's journey is interrupted by the surprise arrival of a starship. It lands in front of them and out steps none-other than [[Ultra Magnus (WFC)|Ultra Magnus]].

On the ''Nemesis'', Megatron rages over Starscream's failure, but Shockwave reveals he has a wild card of his own, sitting in his lab on Cybertron. Taking a trip back to their home planet, Shockwave returns through the space bridge with the huge [[Predacon (Prime)|Predacon]] he has cloned.

==Synopsis==
The [[Decepticon]]s search the ruins of [[Autobot Outpost Omega One|Outpost Omega One]]. [[Starscream (WFC)|Starscream]] has investigated the wreckage of the ''[[Jackhammer (Prime)|Jackhammer]]'', and returns with [[Wheeljack (Prime)|Wheeljack]] as captive. [[Megatron (WFC)|Megatron]] orders him taken back to [[Darkmount (Earth)|Darkmount]] for questioning while the troops continue to search not far from where [[Optimus Prime (WFC)|Optimus]] is half-buried. The Decepticons eventually dig up [[Airachnid (Prime)|Airachnid]], still trapped in her stasis chamber, and the [[Forge of Solus Prime]] but are unable to find any bodies. This turns out to be because [[Smokescreen (Prime)|Smokescreen]] has spirited Optimus away using the [[phase shifter]]. The young [[Autobot]] shelters his badly-damaged leader in an underground cavern. Meanwhile, as Megatron orders [[Soundwave (WFC)|Soundwave]] to monitor frequencies Earth-wide for Autobot communications, Starscream spots an incoming human military force and offers to dispatch the armada to deal with them. Megatron instead turns Darkmount's [[fusion cannon]]s on them, devastating the human forces as well as [[Jasper]].

Megatron contacts [[William Fowler|Agent Fowler]], warning him that the Decepticons should not be interfered with, but with the news that Megatron bears the humans no ill will and simply wants to settle on Earth in peace. Starscream is impressed with Megatron's talent for deception. Fowler, meanwhile, reports to [[Bryce|his superior]] that Jasper's evacuation was completed in time and a cover story in place, but the military want to nuke the Decepticons. [[June Darby]], working as a medic on the military base, asks if there's been any word from the others, but there's no way to contact anyone without giving away their position.

A patrolling [[Vehicon (Prime)|Vehicon]] scans cars moving along a road, but fails to recognize [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]], who has a new paint job. Bumblebee and [[Raf Esquivel|Raf]] stop and discuss how they're going to find the rest of the team, concluding the best bet is to continue heading towards Jasper. In the Rockies, [[Bulkhead (Prime)|Bulkhead]] and [[Miko Nakadai|Miko]] head towards a [[Wrecker]] meeting spot Bulkhead and Wheeljack had decided on.

Back in Darkmount, Starscream's interrogation of Wheeljack is not bearing fruit as Wheeljack doesn't know anything. Megatron orders [[Knock Out (Prime)|Knock Out]] to take a team back to [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] to search for Iacon relics at their previous battle site.

Optimus stirs, and Smokescreen relates how he snuck back to the base during the evacuation, and used the phase shifter to get Optimus out. While Smokescreen is keen to go find Ratchet, Optimus stops him, saying cryptically that there is "no hope" of finding Ratchet, but powers back down into unconsciousness before he can explain.

[[Jack Darby|Jack]] and [[Arcee (Prime)|Arcee]] pause in their travels and spot a helicopter. Arcee leaves Jack to go investigate, whereupon Jack decides that sending a text message to his mother might be safe. Unfortunately his message is detected by Soundwave, and the Decepticons swiftly dispatch a force. Jack only has time to put away his phone before a Vehicon starts strafing him. Arcee, having identified the helicopter as civilian, sees the explosions and heads back. Jack unsuccessfully seeks shelter under a truck, but Arcee gets back in time to save him. The pair set up a trap at a nearby gas station, destroying it to take out the two Vehicons and [[Laserbeak (WFC)|Laserbeak]], before fleeing.

The search for relics on Cybertron turns up the [[Apex Armor (Prime)|Apex Armor]], and... something else. Back on Earth, Soundwave is examining Laserbeak and failing to retrieve any of the surveillance data when Knock Out's call comes through. Knock Out returns triumphantly through the space bridge with a surprise guest: [[Shockwave (WFC)|Shockwave]]!

He is shown to have returned within moments of the base's destruction, but was the second-to-last to use the GroundBridge, Ratchet being the last. Since Ratchet changed the coordinates, he should have returned well before the blast, and should have been spotted by Optimus when he did.
