Ten years after the defeat of Unicron, a new threat arises...

Synopsis
Deep within the shattered remains of Unicron, Alpha Q—one of Unicron's many victims—is resurrected, to gather energon to revive Unicron. Alpha Q releases a horde of energon-eating Terrorcons, which will scavenge Earth's abundant supplies of the power source.

As Ocean City and its bridge rise and unfold from one of Earth's oceans, Demolishor narrates: it has been ten years since Megatron and Unicron disappeared in the depths of space. He and the other surviving Decepticons have had to suffer through working with the Autobots and humans in search of energon, and he's not happy about it.

The city has surfaced so that the human known as Kicker can go out on his motorbike and get some fresh air, much to Demolishor's consternation. Hot Shot shows up too, and berates Demolishor for neglecting his work before running off in pursuit of the wayward Kicker. Kicker's tired of being cooped up in the submerged city and taking orders from 'bots. Suddenly, his hair flashes golden.

Below the waves, the Omnicons are hard at work mining; they suddenly hit a golden glowing seam.

On Cybertron, Rad pays a visit to Earth's Extraterrestrial Research and Development Center, where he communicates briefly with Sally. Rad tells Kicker's father, Dr. Jones, that the Omnicons have hit a big vein of energon right where Dr. Jones predicted. Energon is a clean energy source, needed to get Earth through an energy crisis, as well as the Transformers' requirements for the repair of Cybertron.

On an asteroid colony, two 'bots give the stoic Tidal Wave a hard time about his terminal silence. Suddenly, a barrage of lights from the depths of space pound the colony, as the mysterious Terrorcon drones attack.

In a training arena, Ironhide spars with Optimus Prime, and is ready to go again despite getting put down. Optimus comments that the young 'bot reminds him a lot of Hot Shot, which Ironhide regards as about the best compliment ever.

Rad and Dr. Jones report the attack to Optimus, telling him that their Mars depot is under attack, as reported by Carlos. Prime speaks with Primus about the strange development. Prime rounds up Jetfire and Inferno to check out the situation, and Ironhide insists on coming too. Rad activates a space bridge gate, and the four Autobots roll out.

Arriving on Mars, the four find the smoking ruins of Mars City. The team detects no life, even though there were many Transformers working there. They quickly head to Earth.

At Ocean City, Sally and her mother observe the Omnicons' energon research, and squabble with Kicker. Kicker recalls arriving on planet Cybertron as a very young boy with his father, and meeting the gargantuan and rather terrifying Autobots. Present-day Kicker grumbles that he doesn't need any Transformers to protect him.

Carlos reports that the Mars base was destroyed by asteroids. Kicker urgently tells Hot Shot that they're under attack, and he must submerge the city. He and Hot Shot race outside.

In a flashback sequence...

:Optimus Prime searches for a young Kicker, who, driven by his fear of the Autobots, has run away and hidden in a restricted zone. Falling into a void, Kicker is snared by a glowing light. The voice of Primus speaks, wondering what energy source powers humans. Primus then bestows Kicker with a sixth-sense granting him the ability to detect danger and energon.

Present day, Hot Shot and Kicker observe as a huge swarm of Terrorcons appear in the sky, opening fire. Hot Shot returns fire. Demolishor soon finds himself against a pile of the creatures. The timely arrival of Optimus's crew saves Kicker from another group. Prime unleashes his Prime Force drones, then gives Hot Shot a Spark of Combination, allowing him to Powerlinx with Inferno. Prime merges with his drones, and blows away a ton of the Terrorcons.

Kicker leaps aboard Ironhide and makes good use of his cannon, but ultimately has to be saved by Prime, who launches a suit from his Spark of Combination to protect him from a fall. The surprised Kicker is told that the suit was made for him by his father. Kicker is furious—this is his planet and nobody can tell him what to do!

Alpha Q observes that the first attack was a failure, but there are many hands yet to be played.
Notes
Differences with Super Link
*There are two distinct English-language dubs of this episode—a version broadcast on television, which is a straight dub of the Japanese edition of the episode, and the substantially-altered version released on the Paramount DVD. In addition to a heavily re-written script, the DVD version re-orders several scenes, chief among them the opening sequence with Alpha Q and Kicker's flashbacks, and inserts a new opening monologue from Optimus Prime, along with clips from Armada. The original televised version of the episode was restored for the Shout! Factory release, and appears on streaming platforms such as Tubi.
*The prolonged sequence of Ocean City rising up from beneath the waves differs across the various editions of this episode. The Super Link version features only music and sound effects. The TV-broadcast version of Energon features a monologue from Demolishor touching upon the events of the last ten years, to cement the series as a continuation of Armada. The Paramount DVD version replaces this monologue with an argument between Kicker and Misha about raising the city. Misha does not actually appear in the episode, though, and shouldn't actually be in Ocean City anyway.
*In the opening sequence of this episode, Alpha Q states that Unicron has brought him back online, in order to stop Unicron from going offline—a claim that is totally at odds with what we will learn of the character and his history as the series progresses. As an error, it's entirely confined to Energon, but unlike the multitude of errors that would come to populate Energon, this was most likely a very deliberately inserted line. This "minion of Unicron" role was Hasbro's intention for the character, and is how he is portrayed in the Dreamwave comic, but the Japanese production staff wound up creating an entirely different story for the character that contradicted it. To get things back in order, the line was deleted from the Paramount DVD release of the Energon episode.
*Curiously, the Paramount DVD version of this episode removed the cameos of young Alexis, Carlos, and Rad departing the Autobot starship Axalon from Kicker's flashback sequence, instead jumping straight to Dr. Jones and Kicker leaving the vessel.

Pain count
The "Uh?"s start very early:
*"Uh?": 9
*"It's time to": 1
*"Gimme a break!": 1

Animation and technical errors
*This episode's English title fails to localize the faction name "Cybertron" to "Autobot".
*In the version broadcast on television, there is an audio synch mistake when Rad and Dr. Jones watch Prime's Autobots depart for Mars; their dialogue begins too soon, cringingly causing their lip movements to lag behind it. Surprisingly, this was fixed for the DVD release.
*During the attack on Ocean City, Sally wonders where her brother is, and her mother adds "Where's Kicker?" in Sally's voice. Oops. This was not fixed for the DVD release.
*Kicker references the military clock position system. He yells "9 o'clock!" before kicking Ironhide's head to the left to shoot the Divebomb drones. Although it's true that "9 o'clock" means "left", the way Ironhide is facing is closer to 10 or 11 o'clock.
**In the Paramount DVD release, Kicker instead yells at Ironhide to "pay attention!", removing the slight error.
*At the very end of the episode, Alpha Q says there are "plenty of Cybertron Earth cities". Again, "Cybertron" is the Japanese name for "Autobot" that wasn't translated.

Continuity notes
*Just like Armada, it is never explicitly stated what year the events of Energon take place. All canon sources establish each show in the Unicron Trilogy taking place ten years apart from one another, starting with the then-future year of 2010, meaning Energon takes place in 2020.
**However, the Paramount DVD release suggests it's been 20 years since the Unicron Battles, making it 2030, which is the year the events of Cybertron take place.
**In the Armada episode "Chase", Alexis's laptop has 2002 listed as the year, obviously due to the year the episode was animated/released, long before 2010 became the established year.
*The Paramount DVD release with Optimus Prime recapping the story so far shows footage of the Unicron Battles from Armada.
*The corpse of Galvatron is briefly shown in the opening scene, when the camera is moving through Unicron's body.
*While the returning Autobots and Mini-Cons from Armada have been upgraded into entirely new bodies, fit with new weapons systems and alternate forms, the extent of the returning Decepticons' upgrades are merely reduced to new color schemes. This, topped off with the fact that the Decepticons only serve as guards of energon mining facilities, suggests there is no equality between the Autobots and Decepticons. Who are the real villains again?
*The poor Street Action Mini-Cons have had their roles reduced to washing cars and being used as Kicker's transportation.
*Gadgets and powers:
**Kicker can sense Energon and danger, a power bestowed upon him by Primus.
**Terrorcons have the ability to eat raw Energon and convert it into Energon stars.
**Copter-2 can slice through enemies with its rotor blades.
**Digger-3 can create whirlwinds with its drill.
**Submarine-4 fires torpedoes.
**Optimus carries the Spark of Combination in his chest where his Matrix of Leadership used to be. He also carried Kicker's armor inside the Spark of Combination too.
**Ironhide can deploy his head in vehicle mode like a Sweep.
**Powerlinx Hot Shot wields both his and Inferno's weapons.
**Optimus fire his "Energon Blast" attack in Super Mode.
*Powerlinx forms:
**Perceptor (first use)
**Powerlinx Hot Shot with Inferno (first use)
**Optimus Prime Super Mode (first use)

Continuity errors
*In Optimus Prime's opening monologue in the Paramount DVD version of the episode, he refers to the series as taking place 20 years after the Unicron Battles of Armada, rather than 10.
**In the same opening monologue, he incorrectly names Galvatron "Megatron", likely due to Energon having everyone going back to calling him Megatron.
*Optimus Prime is somehow able to identify the Terrorcons by name, before he has any way to know what they are. Again, this line was not in Super Link, and was removed for the Paramount DVD release of Energon.
*As stated above the Paramount DVD version of the episode has Misha placed in Ocean City, when subsequent episodes reveal she had been in Desert City the entire time, hence the conversation featured in the next episode, post-evacuation, has Misha and Kicker talking from screens rather than in person.

Transformers references
*A close-up of High Wire's motorbike mode reveals TAKARA branding, an obvious reference to TakaraTomy (who at the time was still just called "Takara" before the brand merge with Tomy in 2006).
*The aforementioned inequality between Autobots and Decepticons is very similar to the state of Cybertron during the Beast Era of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Real-world references
*According to the Transformers: Energon Official Guidebook, the sparring match was Optimus Prime training the others in the martial arts discipline Kumite.
*As stated above, Kicker references the Clock position while he's on top of Ironhide.
*Before the Terrorcons attack, High Wire is seen washing a car that clearly resembles the Toyota Trueno AE86 from the racing manga and anime series Initial D.

Trivia
*Compared to later episodes, this one is astonishingly well-animated and acted.
*Kicker is apparently able to raise and lower the city without anyone stopping him or even asking why.
*The space shuttles the humans use are partarially designed to reflect Jetfire's shuttle mode. The most significant difference between the two is the absence of the red booster rocket portion that forms Jetfire's legs and torso in robot mode. This would also mean in-universe that Jetfire has since reformatted into the newest Earth model of space shuttle.
*Due to use of an earlier unfinished CGI model, Jetfire's rifle is incorrectly colored gray. The colors won't be corrected until "Starscream the Mysterious Mercenary."
When Lightfoot investigates the eruption of an underwater volcano, he discovers the site of a new Decepticon base.

Synopsis
When the Decepticons begin construction of an advance base on the ocean floor off the coast of Australia, their repeated blasting causes a dormant underwater volcano to become active, in turn triggering a major earthquake that devastates Sydney. Lightfoot investigates and pinpoints the earthquake's epicenter, diving beneath the waves to examine the volcano. He reports back to Autobot headquarters his suspicions that a full-scale eruption may occur in the next 24 hours, but as he continues to gather data, he is attacked by a battalion of Seacons, exposing the presence of the Decepticons' base there. He alerts Ginrai and the Headmaster Juniors to the situation, but is then surrounded by the Seacons, who tear a fissure into the seabed with their blasts and send Lightfoot tumbling into it. With his communicator damaged in the fall, Lightfoot cannot be contacted by Ginrai and the Juniors, and they and Godbomber immediately head out to help him. Deducing that they will soon arrive, Mega instructs Turtler to ambush Ginrai when he arrives and destroy him and Lightfoot together.

Ginrai and the Juniors soon arrive on the Australian coastline, and Ginrai directs the Juniors to perform rescue operations in Sydney while he investigates underwater. Ginrai heads into the ocean, and after a while, he arrives on the scene, silently observed by the hidden Turtler and Gilmer. As Ginrai dives the crevasse to rescue Lightfoot, Turtler combines with the Seacons into King Poseidon and begins heaving rocks in after them, hoping to bury them alive and leave them to the tender mercies of the volcano. It looks like he has succeeded, too, but after a few minutes, a laser blast scatters the rocks, and Ginrai and Lightfoot emerge little the worse for wear. Suddenly, however, the volcanic activity escalates, and the trench begins caving in on the two Autobots again.

In Sydney, the Juniors do the best they can to help, with Shūta saving a young girl from some collapsing rubble. With their work done, they head back to the shoreline to see if Ginrai has returned. Informed by Godbomber that he has not, they transform to robot mode and prepare to follow him beneath the waves, but Godbomber restrains them and goes in their place. Very soon, he arrives at the collapsed trench and engages King Poseidon in battle, but as they fight, the volcano finally erupts! King Poseidon is laid low by the flying rocks and magma, and the Decepticons' advance base is likewise destroyed in the conflagration.

Beneath the seabed, Ginrai and Lightfoot are trying to blast their way free, to no avail, when the eruption occurs. Desperate to save his commander before they are consumed by the lava, Lightfoot decides to self-destruct, destroying the rock wall that blocks their escape. Ginrai refuses to allow it, but Lightfoot insists that it is his duty, forcing Ginrai to strike him in order to stop him from killing himself.

Thankfully for both of them, Godbomber smashes his way through the wall, rescuing them both. King Poseidon, however, proves that he is not out yet when he emerges for one last attack, forcing Ginrai and Godbomber to combine into God Ginrai to battle him. The two grapple on the very rim of the volcano, but Ginrai is saved when Lightfoot blasts his way through the Seacon drones and performs a "Chōkon Spin Drill," creating a powerful water spout that nearly pulls King Poseidon in. With his opponent thus distracted, Ginrai is able to turn the tables and flip King Poseidon over his shoulder, blasting him into the caldera with his God Cannon. Then, finally, the eruption reaches its crescendo, and a small island begins to rise up from beneath the sea as lava cools. As the Headmaster Juniors watch this incredible sight, God Ginrai and Lightfoot crest the waves, and swim to shore.

With the Autobots victorious and on their way back to base, Giga rages at the Decepticons' loss, and realizes that they underestimated the power of Godbomber. He, then, must become their next target...
Notes
Animation and technical errors
*Quite a few shots of animation are recycled in this episode, from Lightfoot battling the swarms of Seacons to lava bursting from the volcano.
*While videochatting with Lightfoot, Ginrai's entire lower torso armor is colored teal. Only the front should be that color, the sides should be white.
*After Ginrai dives into the crevasse, Turtler and Gilmer immediately run up to the edge. It seems difficult to believe that Ginrai wouldn't have noticed them running towards it.
*A quick scene change is all it takes for Gilmer to go from hanging out near the Volcano with Turtler to lurking around the Decepticon base with Giga and Mega.
*Godbomber's usually gray waist is red just prior to combining with Ginrai.

Trivia
*At the conclusion of the episode, Giga is suddenly holding a wine glass for absolutely no reason other than to crush it in anger. Because he's evil, see.
*It never enters anybody's mind to call Diver, the guy who turns into a submarine, to this underwater adventure. In fact, this is the middle of three consecutive episodes in which everybody (including the writers) seems to forget that the Autobot Pretenders even exist.
*While previous episodes have seen King Poseidon be defeated rather easily by Super Ginrai, he makes a much better showing this time around, with God Ginrai needing help from Lightfoot to turn the tables on him. This may have something to with the fact that the fight in this episode takes place underwater, whereas previous bouts between King Poseidon and Ginrai were always on land... or it could just be random power level fluctuation, which is hardly unheard of in the Transformers franchise.
*Why does Ginrai only bring the most junior and least powerful of all the Autobots to help with the potential catastrophic disaster? While the Pretenders have faded into the background by this point, he has two powerful Godmasters in Ranger and Road King (remember those guys?) going underutilized.
Vince is a teenage boy who attends the school in Jasper, Nevada. He's a jerk and a bully, and also takes part in street racing.
Vince was leaning on his car outside the school when Jack Darby started to head off, and he disparaged Jack's motorcycle as a moped. He caught up with Jack at a traffic light and challenged the boy to a race. Jack was reluctant to accept until Vince dissed his motorcycle again. They drove to a road outside Jasper, where they held a race. Vince took off first, but found that Jack was a much better motorcycle rider than Vince had expected. News of the race's result spread around school, and the next day, Vince challenged Jack to participate in a street race. Later that night, Jack turned up at the race in a yellow sports car, claiming his motorcycle was in the shop. Jack and Vince jockeyed for lead position after the race started, but then Jack and a red car started doing bizarre stunts. Vince followed them to a bridge, where he furiously challenged Jack to finish the race. While he was shouting, he was suddenly grabbed from behind and bundled into the red car, before being knocked out.

Vince had been taken prisoner by the Decepticon Knock Out, who'd mistaken him for one of the Autobots' allies. The Decepticon attempted to use Vince as bait to draw in Bumblebee, but he and Breakdown got more than they bargained for when Arcee and Bulkhead turned up as well. On the run, Knock Out was stopped by Optimus Prime, who retrieved Vince. Jack and Bumblebee were returning Vince to his car when he came around, and Jack claimed that Vince had been grabbed by some guys in some sort of gang initiation. After Jack told Vince that maybe street racing wasn't such a good idea, Vince insulted Bumblebee's vehicle mode, and the Autobot left him coughing in a cloud of dust. Speed Metal
As Twitch and Thrash learn how to use their abilities, they find themselves targeted by a new threat to all Transformer-kind.

Synopsis
Megatron reaches down and picks up Dot Malto, staring at her imposingly...then laughs, happy to see his Platoon Cyber Strike teammate again. Dot is equally happy to be reunited with her old friend. As the two catch up, Optimus Prime releases a set of drones to investigate the surrounding area for clues as to what attacked the G.H.O.S.T. prison transport.

In the forest, Twitch and Robby decide to play a game of target practice. Robby tosses a small stone at a larger rock, hitting it dead-on, but Twitch is unable to get her laser blaster to appear. As she fiddles with her arm, Robby decides to try throwing a rock at Twitch instead. His gambit works and Twitch's blaster activates, allowing her to blast the oncoming projectile into the target rock. Not far away, Thrash practices his juggling skills using Mo and two large rocks. Thrash is pleased that Mo no longer seems to be upset, noting that their cyber-sleeve connection had been causing him to feel her lingering sadness. Mo explains that she's been worried for her family after their big move, and that she just wants them to be happy. As Robby sets up another target, Twitch spots one of Optimus's drones and follows it, climbing up a tree to get a better look. Thinking it to be some kind of mechanical bird, she squints to observe it, inadvertently triggering her scanner. Caught off guard, she slips and falls, but before she can hit the ground, she transforms into a drone herself and takes off into the sky. Robby celebrates Twitch's success, but backs away as Optimus's drone approaches him until Twitch shoots it down. Seeing Twitch transform, Thrash begins looking for something that he can use as an alternate mode. Mo suggests the two go into town to expand his options, while Twitch and Robby stay behind to see if they can convert the damaged drone into a sky racer.

The remaining drones return to Optimus, with Elita-1 chalking the missing one up to another malfunction by Wheeljack. Dot still remains skeptical of helping Optimus and G.H.O.S.T., but Megatron encourages her, noting that despite their differences, he knows Optimus always does what he genuinely believes is right for everyone. With the drones having turned up nothing, Optimus declares they will take up the search instead, and the group head for Witwicky. Elsewhere, Hardtop remains in the captivity of Dr. Meridian and his Arachnamech drones, with one now fastening Hardtop's arm to Meridian. As he ponders using Hardtop's brother for parts as well, one of the Arachnamechs reveals its destroyed counterpart was last heard from in Witwicky. Seeing a more tantalizing prize, Meridian orders the Arachnamechs to pursue the Cybertronian that appeared in the destroyed unit's footage.

In downtown Witwicky, Thrash and Mo stand on a rooftop looking for potential alternate modes, careful to avoid being seen, but none are to Thrash's liking. Mo sympathizes, recalling how much her bike Rocinante meant to her, and declares Thrash will know the right mode when he finds it. Before they can depart, the two are attacked by an Arachnamech, which knocks Thrash into a nearby alley. The two do their best to fight back, but the Arachnamech comes at them relentlessly. Fortunately, Robby and Twitch arrive and blast the attacker with the repaired drone, having sensed Mo and Thrash's fear and come looking for them. Their relief is short-lived, however, when they find themselves surrounded by even more Arachnamechs. Help arrives in the form of Elita and Optimus, who catch the Arachnamechs by surprise and swiftly take them out. The kids are awestruck, but that awe turns to worry when they see their mother with the bots, looking none too happy. Though Dot is relieved her kids are safe, Optimus suggests the two new Transformers be taken to G.H.O.S.T. for their safety, despite their protests. As a G.H.O.S.T. transport pulls up, Robby and Mo attempt to appeal to their mother, but Dot sides with Optimus, promising that the kids can visit their new friends once things have been sorted out. The children say their goodbyes as the transport drives off, unaware that the driver is actually a disguised Dr. Meridian.

As the kids finish explaining everything, Dot, now joined by Alex, reprimands them for not coming to them sooner, but Robby and Mo believe they wouldn't have listened and point out that Dot too has been keeping secrets with regard to working with the Transformers again. Their conversation is interrupted by Optimus, who has confirmed there is no record of the G.H.O.S.T. transport or its driver. Realizing the bots have been abducted, the Maltos insist on joining in search and rescue efforts, and use the kids' emotional link with the bots to track them. In his laboratory, Meridian plays friendly host to Twitch and Thrash, claiming their previous Arachnamech encounters were the result of a misunderstanding. As he scans their bodies, he finds them to be hybrids of the organic and technological, unlike normal Cybertronians, and dubs their species "Cybertronus terrans", leading them to in turn rechristen him "Mandroid", much to his displeasure. As they sense Robby and Mo approaching, the Terrans attempt to leave, but are restrained by Mandroid, who intends to scrap them for parts. Fortunately, Optimus, Megatron and Dot burst through the wall and demand the Terrans' release. Mandroid sends his Arachnamechs to attack them, but Elita crashes through the roof to fill out their numbers. Mandroid remains unfazed, however, and activates his own secret weapons as he makes his getaway: Shrapnel, Bombshell, and Hardtop, all under his control. With Megatron's help, Dot makes it past the attackers and frees Twitch and Thrash, while Elita overpowers Hardtop and knocks him out of the building. As Robby, Mo and Alex watch this unfold from the minivan, they find themselves in the sights of the last of Mandroid's Decepticons: the enormous Skullcruncher, who begins attacking the van before being fended off by Twitch and Thrash. As he attempts to defend the van, Thrash is blasted into one of Mandroid's warehouses. Inspired by Mo's story of Rocinante, he scans a motorcycle inside and rushes out at high speed, knocking Skullcruncher to the ground. The kids leave the car and join the Terrans in their fight, while Alex finds himself face to face with Bombshell. Before the Decepticon can smash the van, help arrives in the form of an unexpected newcomer: Bumblebee, who takes down Bombshell with ease.

With the battle over, the Decepticons are rounded up, no longer under Mandroid's control, and Dot embraces her children. Though disappointed that Mandroid escaped, Optimus reveals the true reason he asked Bumblebee to come out of hiding: to become a teacher and mentor for the Terrans. However, Dot refuses to allow them to stay at G.H.O.S.T., stating she will not let anyone take away part of her family, which now includes Twitch and Thrash...which is exactly what Optimus was hoping she'd say, as he believes the Terrans should learn about both of their worlds, and he trusts the Maltos to keep them safe. The Maltos return to the farmhouse as everyone settles into their new circumstances, including a somewhat reluctant Bumblebee. Atop the barn, Robby and Mo reflect that they're going to like it in Witwicky, as they stare up at the stars with their new Terran siblings.
Notes
Continuity notes
*

Transformers references
* Megatron's status as a reformed villain calls back to his counterpart from the 2005 IDW continuity. Here, however, he retains his Decepticon insignia rather than fully switching his allegiance to the Autobots.
* The G.H.O.S.T. trailer containing the drones splits in half down the middle and contains blue robotic armatures, reminiscent of Optimus' original toy.
* Alex identifies one of Elita's moves as "Ariel's Gambit", a nod to the original name of her G1 counterpart.

Real-world references
*Mo's bike, Rocinante, is named for Rocinante. The reference is invoked again when a horse insignia is briefly seen on the motorbike Thrash scans for his alt mode.

Animation and technical errors
*The longitude on Dot's coordinates is missing a decimal point; it should read "-75.620294".
*The coordinates Dot gives put the family somewhere near Scranton. However, the interstate signs indicate they are near a point where I-276 and I-95 intersect, which would be about 20 miles northeast of Philadelphia near the Delaware River-Turnpike Toll Bridge, about 140 miles to the southeast of the given coordinates.
*When Optimus is explaining Bumblebee's mission of training the Terrans, Hardtop's visor is colored white, as if still under Mandroid's control. He was correctly shown with an orange visor while speaking to Megatron a few shots ago.

Trivia
* Most online distribution platforms do not list this episode separately from Part 1, instead choosing to combine both parts into a single 44-minute video.
* This episode, combined with its first part, was adapted into a "sleep story" for the Calm meditation app in April 2023, with Robby narrating it for a recording Mo insists he make as a "historical record".

He was correctly shown speaking to Megatron less than a minute earlier with his regular orange visor.

:** In an odd bit of dubbing inconsistency, whereas most of the translated Transformer names were lifted from the Hungarian release of the G1 Marvel Comics series, Wheeljack is referred to by his Armada cartoon dub name ("Volán Jack") rather than either of the names used interchangeably in the comics ("Kerék" and "Kormányos Jack").
