While the Predacon [[Megatron (BW)|Megatron]] stole the [[Maximal]] relic, the [[Golden Disk (Voyager)|Golden Disk]], the Predacon who would later call himself Terrorsaur, along with [[Waspinator (BW)|the future Waspinator]] and [[Buzzbomb]], secured a getaway ship from [[Predacon Transwarp Research Center D-F]]. They were meant to be working for [[Cryotek (RID)|Cryotek]]—however, Megatron had his own agenda that "Terrorsaur" was in on and Buzzbomb wasn't. Terrorsaur was one of the original members of [[Megatron (BW)/Beast Wars cartoon continuity|Megatron]]'s crew. After the ''Darksyde'' crashed on a [[Earth|mysterious planet]], he picked a Pteranodon for his beast mode, and the Predacons began searching for the [[Maximal]]s. Terrorsaur took part in the first battle, until the Maximals retreated and the Predacons started suffering from Energon buildup. {{storylink|Beast Wars (Part 1)}} The Predacons followed the Maximals to their base and attacked [[Optimus Primal/Beast Wars cartoon continuity|Optimus Primal]] and [[Dinobot (BW)|Dinobot]] as the two battled on a natural rock bridge. When the attack failed to eliminate any Maximals, Megatron thumped Terrorsaur out of frustration. The uncovering of a large cache of Energon gave the Predacons a new mission, and [[Waspinator (BW)|Waspinator]] and Terrorsaur attempted to slow the Maximals down so that the Predacons could get there first. Much later, Terrorsaur and [[Scorponok (BW)|Scorponok]] were assigned to install a mega-cannon as part of the defences for the Predacon base. {{storylink|The Web}} When an energon accident caused [[Cheetor (BW)|Cheetor]] to be teleported into the Predacon base, Terrorsaur gave him a warm welcome. Cheetor managed to throw him through the teleport to the ''[[Axalon (BW)|Axalon]]'', where he attempted to talk Dinobot into teaming up with him to defeat both sides. Dinobot went along with him long enough to get information, and then stuffed him into a waste disposal unit. Terrorsaur returned to the Predacon base, where he and Megatron cornered Cheetor, only to discover that the Maximals had sent a bomb through the teleport. Once Cheetor detached the bomb from the console, Terrorsaur flew it into the sky and was blown up for his troubles. {{storylink|Equal Measures}}

During a battle at the [[Standing Stones]], Terrorsaur blew up the pile of energon in the center, earning Megatron's ire at the loss. Whatever punishment he got wasn't enough to prevent him from taking part in a subsequent attack on the ''Axalon''. He was able to bring the ship's shields down, but [[Rattrap]] managed to raise the shields again, as well as blasting Terrorsaur out of the air. He was still able to attempt to stop the Maximals retrieving Primal from an [[Vok probe|alien probe]], but the Maximals ultimately succeeded, and the Maximal leader chased off the Predacons. {{storylink|Chain of Command}}

Terrorsaur's shining moment came when he discovered a [[flying mountain]] with a huge source of powerful energon at the top. Powered-up, he immediately returned to the ''Darksyde'' and defeated Megatron, declaring himself the new leader of the Predacons. Having exhausted his charge, Terrorsaur left [[Tarantulas (BW)|Tarantulas]] in charge and went to refuel at the mountain. (None of the other Predacons paid attention to any of the commands Terrorsaur had made) Unfortunately for him, Optimus Primal and Rattrap had already found the mountain. While he was able to defeat Primal, Rattrap had set up charges, and Terrorsaur was forced to flee. When he returned to the Predacon base, he discovered that Megatron had been repaired in his absence and was very, very angry. {{storylink|Power Surge}}

When a Maximal [[stasis pod]] crashed, Waspinator and Terrorsaur ambushed Optimus Primal outside the Maximal base, taking the Maximals' only flier out of the game. After reporting back to Megatron, the pair were dispatched to reach the pod first and ensure the [[protoform]] inside became another Predacon. On the way, Terrorsaur and Waspinator encountered the Maximals, going by ground, and delayed them by knocking out an ice bridge. The two Predacons reached the pod first, but a transmission sent by Primal and Dinobot had already activated the protoform, and they were attacked by [[Tigatron]]. {{storylink|Fallen Comrades}} Sent out to eliminate Rattrap, Terrorsaur instead teamed up with the Maximal and again overthrew Megatron. After having Rattrap and Megatron both locked up, Terrorsaur found himself at a loss when the Maximals attacked and the other Predacons looked to him for leadership. Megatron, having freed himself, deferred leadership until it was made plain that Terrorsaur was incompetent as leader. {{storylink|Double Jeopardy}}

Terrorsaur was subsequently assigned with Waspinator and [[Blackarachnia (BW)|Blackarachnia]] to dig under the Maximal base so that they could use a [[sonic emitter]] to break in. Unfortunately, Waspinator alerted the Maximals to their presence, and while the trio were arguing over when to set the device off, Tigatron stole it. As they attempted to get it back, Tigatron triggered the emitter, and the three Predacons fled before it went off. {{storylink|A Better Mousetrap}} After Scorponok's [[Cyberbee]] turned Primal into a berserker and he invaded the ''Darksyde'', Terrorsaur and Blackarachnia attempted to keep the other Maximals out of the Predacon base. When Scorponok spotted the Maximals building a communications array, he passed footage of the device to Terrorsaur, who flew it back to Megatron. The Predacons quickly discovered the tower was meant to communicate with a Maximal [[temporal probe]] which was passing through the system. Terrorsaur successfully distracted the Maximals at the array long enough for the other Predacons to sneak up from the other direction-a strategy that would lead to the eventual destruction of the array. {{storylink|The Probe}} Terrorsaur took part in a mock rebellion after the Predacons discovered they'd been bugged. After making the Maximals believe they'd been destroyed, the Predacons hid until the ''Axalon'' was made operational, intending to take the ship themselves. When their hiding place was discovered by Dinobot, Terrorsaur and Waspinator were the first to pursue their former comrade, only to be squashed by a large rock. Terrorsaur still recovered in time to rejoin the fight outside the ''Axalon'', managing to shoot down a distracted Optimus Primal before Cheetor blasted him out of the sky. {{storylink|Victory (episode)|Victory}}

After [[Rhinox (BW)|Rhinox]] was turned into a Predacon by Megatron's [[Transmuter (BW)|Transmuter]], Terrorsaur realised that Rhinox was actually working to undermine Megatron's leadership. Terrorsaur suggested teaming up to overthrow the Predacon commander, but was somewhat roughly turned down. Once Megatron discovered Rhinox's deception, the former Maximal was able to reveal Terrorsaur's duplicity, and an outraged Scorponok attacked Terrorsaur, until the both of them were pounded by Rhinox. After the whole sorry affair was over, Terrorsaur attempted to explain to his less-than-receptive leader. {{storylink|Dark Designs}}

Terrorsaur helped out Dinobot one time, when Dinobot was complaining of being bored. Terrorsaur lured him into a cave and trapped him there, so that Megatron could put into effect a plan involving a [[Clone One|clone of Dinobot]]. {{storylink|Double Dinobot}} After another stasis pod crashed, Terrorsaur and Waspinator arrived to face Cheetor. Although Waspinator was quickly defeated, Terrorsaur blasted Cheetor and proceeded to the pod, only to encounter the newly awakened [[Airazor (BW)|Airazor]], who blasted him to pieces. {{storylink|The Spark}}

Waspinator and Terrorsaur attacked Tigatron while the Maximal was trying to radio base. The pair pursued Tigatron into a cloud, only to be blasted by some sort of [[Brigadoon|flying island]], and subsequently reported back to Megatron. {{storylink|The Trigger, Part 1}} After repairs were made, the two fliers started back for the island, only to tangle with Rattrap and Optimus Primal. Terrorsaur found himself acting as Rattrap's transport, temporarily at least. He and Waspinator later attempted to catch up with Blackarachnia on the island, but she tricked them into firing, so that the island's defences took them out. {{storylink|The Trigger, Part 2}}

During a Predacon attack on the ''Axalon'', Terrorsaur and Waspinator stole the [[rectifier coil]] from the Maximal base. When remaining in their beast modes drove the sleep deprived Maximals to be overcome by their beast instincts, the Predacons hunted them through the jungle, at least until the Maximals were able to regain control and fight back. {{storylink|Call of the Wild}} After some of the Maximals were blinded by an energon explosion, Terrorsaur and Waspinator were dispatched to try to finish them off. Unfortunately, even blinded, the Maximals were able to fight them off. {{storylink|Dark Voyage}}

After Waspinator was possessed by the [[spark]] of [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]], the Predacons attacked the ''Axalon''. Terrorsaur attempted to stop Primal escaping, only to get a face full of monkey fist. When Starscream was subsequently given command of the Maximal ship, Terrorsaur complained about the Decepticon getting promoted, but was swiftly silenced by Megatron. {{storylink|Possession}} Later, Terrorsaur was among the Predacons blasted into a tree by Rhinox's almighty fart. {{storylink|The Low Road}} On another mission, Terrorsaur was given leadership of Waspinator and [[Inferno (BW)|Inferno]]. Partway through the battle, Terrorsaur realised that Waspinator wasn't doing anything—as it turned out, he was still awaiting Terrorsaur's signal to attack. Later, the trio successfully defeated Dinobot, but their victory was short-lived, as Optimus turned up and blew Terrorsaur and Waspinator away. {{storylink|Law of the Jungle}}

During a rare truce between the two sides, Terrorsaur found Tigatron snooping around the Predacon base and sounded the alarm. He and Scorponok collided while trying to prevent the Maximal's escape and were sent out to try to get Tigatron back. The Maximals employed "non-violent" means to aid in Tigatron's escape, and Terrorsaur found himself running into a piece of bulkhead. He then attempted to charge Rattrap, only to be sat on by Rhinox. Terrorsaur was one of the Predacons who turned up at the [[Bio-Dome|alien bungalow]]. He was blasted by Rattrap and left lying over a rock as the construct blasted a signal into space, exposing one of the moons as a [[Planet Buster]] weapon. {{storylink|Other Voices, Part 1}} A short time later, he was back at the Predacon base, able to monitor the escalating situation. Megatron's admiration for the aliens surprised him, and he pointed out loudly that the aliens were trying to kill them. As it turned out, Megatron had matters in hand, and the alien weapon was soon destroyed. {{storylink|Other Voices, Part 2}} The weapon's explosion sent out a [[quantum surge]], which began mutating the forms of some of the [[Transformer]]s. Now a Transmetal himself, Optimus Primal proceeded to go on a rampage, taking out all of Megatron's drone forces and slicing Terrorsaur in half with his mace. He destroyed [[Colony Omicron]], killing all of its inhabitants save a lone security officer, [[Depth Charge (BW)|Depth Charge]], who eventually tracked him down and captured him - but not before Protoform X destroyed [[Starbase Rugby]] and ''devoured'' an unknown number of the inhabitants. {{storylink|Deep Metal}} The [[Maximal Elder|Maximal Elders]] had Protoform X placed into a [[stasis pod]] aboard an exploration vessel, the ''Axalon''. They instructed its commander, Optimus Primal, to dump him on some barren world in deep space.

Protoform X was among the stasis pods jettisoned by Optimus when the ''Axalon'' was damaged by [[Megatron (BW)|Megatron's]] Predacons, and only fell out of orbit far into the Beast Wars. Battle near his stasis pod shocked him into activation, and he promptly set out to terrorize all nearby Transformers, rending [[Tarantulas (BW)|Tarantulas]] limb from limb and stalking [[Blackarachnia (BW)|Blackarachnia]] and [[Silverbolt (BW)|Silverbolt]]. (All right, whose bright idea was it to allow the homicidal maniac to keep his weapons!?) X seemed unstoppable at first, but when one of Silverbolt's missiles jammed his tank treads as he climbed up a mountainside, he lost his grip and tumbled down the rock face in pieces.

As Protoform X lay immobilized, Megatron arrived and, using a blade of pure [[energon]], removed a portion of his indestructible spark. Megatron then had him brought back to the Predacon base and repaired. When X attempted to turn his weapons on his "savior", Megatron revealed that he held half of X's spark in a special cage lined with energon crystals, allowing him to torture the beast at will. Megatron thus welcomed him into the Predacon fold, dubbing him "Rampage". {{storylink|Bad Spark}}

Rampage made no secret of his hatred for his new "master", anticipating the arrival of Maximal reinforcements from Cybertron, and the demise Megatron would surely receive as a result. Megatron had other plans in motion, using Rampage's weaponry to destroy a mountain, proving that the future recorded on the [[Golden Disk (Voyager)|Golden Disk]] was mutable. Though a violent sociopath, Rampage was not without compassion. After an attempt by him to regain his spark fragment failed, Rampage encountered a twisted protoform which he dubbed [[Transmutate (character)|Transmutate]]. He quickly befriended it and attempted to have it inducted into the Predacons. Though Megatron ordered the creature destroyed, Rampage persevered with trying to make it a useful addition to the Predacon forces. He became possessive enough to viciously fight with [[Silverbolt (BW)|Silverbolt]] over it. When Transmutate was killed by this fight, Rampage bellowed in grief. {{storylink|Transmutate (episode)|Transmutate}}

Rampage was a major component of the assault on the ''[[Axalon (BW)|Axalon]]'' when it appeared as though the Maximals were going to receive reinforcements from Cybertron. The Predacons were driven off by an invisible force — the cloaked [[Transwarp cruiser]] flown by [[Ravage (G1)|Ravage]]. The cruiser would later be a part of a strike on the Predacon base, during which Rampage unleashed a barrage of missiles on it. Ravage judged the attack "impressive", and responded by using the ship's weapons to blow Rampage to pieces. {{storylink|The Agenda (Part 1)}} Rampage, of course, survived to lead yet another attack on the ''Axalon''. The huge Maximal leader simply shoved him aside, but Rampage had the last laugh as his deflected missile sent the Maximal base plunging into the lake. Later, Depth Charge arrived on prehistoric Earth with the single-minded goal of destroying Rampage. Rampage was beside himself with joy, eager for revenge on his old "playmate". Depth Charge's loss at Colony Omicron had embittered him, and Rampage used this emotional wound to torment the Maximal. In the end, Depth Charge got the upper hand, and may well have ended the feud then and there, but for the intervention of Quickstrike, which allowed Rampage to sneak away and destroy Depth Charge's ship. {{storylink|Deep Metal|Deep Metal}} Rampage soon met his old enemy again when Rattrap descended to the bottom of the lake to retrieve the [[Sentinel (BW)|Sentinel]] module from the wreckage of the ''Axalon''. In beast mode, he features fully articulated crab legs and pincers that can open, close and be posed in a variety of angles through the use of ratcheting joints. His triple-barreled Gatling missile launcher is stored on the underside of the beast mode, with its barrels flipping to the front during vehicle mode. In this tank mode, the crab legs fit together to form a road wheel network for Rampage's rubber treads to fit over so he can roll upon them. Rolling the tank activates the wheel in the missile launcher, firing any or all of the three missiles that can store in it.

:In robot mode, Rampage is an imposingly large figure with a decent level of articulation due to his ball joints, but because he wears most of his beast mode as a sort of backpack, he is quite back-heavy. His (very) small laser rifle and his triple-barreled launcher can be held in both of his hands. There were two releases of the toy, one with face colors accurate with the show and another with an orange colored face (seen to the right).

It was discovered in a mountain by [[Inferno (BW)|Inferno]].

Despite its uncanny similarity to the [[Golden Disk (Voyager)|''Voyager'' disk]], there is no known connection between the two. Its information seems only to pertain the Vok and their projects on prehistoric Earth, with no explicit reference to the distant future. Following odd energy readings, Inferno discovered the alien disk embedded in a rotating monolith within a
glowing, hollow mountain. He tore the disk from its recess, which caused the energy discharge to cease. Then he brought it back to Megatron, who claimed he had "long expected" to find it.

It was identical in size, shape, and color to the Voyager disk, except for the markings: several pictographic symbols which were also found on Vok constructs. These symbols could be observed to change independently of each other, fading from one to another.

Megatron immediately began analyzing it, even calling a truce with [[Optimus Primal|Primal]] while he focused his efforts on the disk and its implications. (Evidence strongly suggests that the disk contained information about the coming [[Planet Buster]] apocalypse.) He kept his decipherments to himself, but Tarantulas hacked into his [[datatrax]] and learned its secrets as well. And then [[Tigatron]] did the same. But in both cases, Megatron was aware of the subterfuge. In Tarantulas's case, Megatron hoped that the spider would devise his own plans, which Megatron would be able to weave into his own. Inside, he placed the disk into an interface apparently made for the purpose, and after being subjected to some sort of painful energy beam, he received the command seat. His subsequent rampage might have been unstoppable, had Tarantulas not turned on him and used a virus to destroy the ship and, presumably, the disk along

Once they arrived, they carried out further scans and briefly faced off with Optimus, taking the form of [[Unicron]] to do so; they claimed they had no physical form he could comprehend, and so were assuming the form of a "figure of authority" in his mind. They informed him that the Beast Wars had irreversibly contaminated their experiment and, due to unspecified danger if this was allowed to continue, they were going to cut their losses. Knowing that Tarantulas had stolen their own power for his evil plans, the Vok turned to the Ark, creating [[Primal Prime]] (from the [[Matrix of Leadership|Matrix]], a [[Transmetal driver|Datasphere]] and Quickstrike's control harness) and restoring the sparks of Airazor and Tigatron to separate Transmetal bodies, hoping they could defeat Tarantulas. {{storylink|Primeval Dawn Part 1}}

In the course of writing the ''Beast Wars'' television show, the co-story editors had conflicting ideas on who the Vok were. [[Bob Forward]] liked to imagine the Vok as the evolutionary endpoint of all sentient life in the universe, shaping the development of other races in order to guide them eventually into becoming Vok themselves. [[Larry DiTillio]] wanted to link the Vok to the Swarm, who, in his version of the events of the ''Generation Two'' comic book, had completely wiped out humanity and wished to atone for their crimes. Neither origin made it into the television show before it completed.

Note that a Swarm-based origin raises continuity questions, as the Swarm were shown to have become enlightened only after an intervention of sorts from [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]] {{storylink|A Rage in Heaven!}}...whom the Vok would have preemptively killed 4 million years earlier when their Planet-Buster weapon destroyed prehistoric Earth (''but see below'').

==Motivations==
The ''[[Beast Wars Universe]]'' book, working off interviews and notes from the series writers, says that the Vok's experiments on Earth were part of an attempt to further evolve Humanity, as the Vok had destroyed the human race while existing as the Swarm, and they wished to rebuild all the races they'd destroyed. It states that the [[energon crystal]]s were seeded so that they would become [[energon cube]]s by the time Humanity came about. This would give them a reliable fuel source which wouldn't harm the environment, as energon actually provided nutrients to the soil of the planet and didn't harm its animals. The Vok also attempted to play the role of God for humans, intending to guide their development and reveal their true nature once the Vok felt the humans were ready. It also states that the Vok had been forced to destroy and recreate Earth several times before the events of [[Other Voices, Part 2]], all the while subtly manipulating the timestream after they did. Only contact with [[Tigatron]] made them unsure if this was a good idea.

One of their other motivations was to turn the Transformers into a smaller race that could better interact with organics, and therefore become the friends and protectors of the galaxy. To do this, they created [[protoform]]s and dumped them on Cybertron, forcing the evolution into Maximal and Predacon. The canonicity of these claims is dubious at best, as they are basically all wish-lists of [[authorial intent]] published years after the fact in obscure, non-English media, they never appeared in any actual story material, and some items (such as the notion that the Vok created sparks too) were rendered flatly impossible by later in-fiction revelations. But one thing is for sure: Old habits die hard.

Scorponok took part in a battle at the [[Standing Stones]], and ended up face-down in the dirt after Cheetor shot him. After Primal went missing, blasted by an [[Vok probe|alien probe]], Megatron sent Scorponok and Waspinator to guard the Standing Stones. As it turned out, Primal wasn't dead, and after he was released from the probe, he blasted all of the Predacons. {{storylink|Chain of Command}} When Terrorsaur mounted a leadership bid and badly damaged Megatron, Scorponok simply had his leader repaired the ''instant'' Terrorsaur wasn't looking. {{storylink|Power Surge}}

After a [[stasis pod]] crashed, Megatron took Scorponok and Tarantulas to attack the Maximal base. While the Predacon leader provided a diversion, the two other Predacons sneaked up on Dinobot, knocking him out. Unfortunately for them, Dinobot had time to activate the ''[[Axalon (BW)|Axalon]]''<nowiki>'s</nowiki> [[autogun]]s, and first Tarantulas, then Scorponok were blasted off the ship. {{storylink|Fallen Comrades}} Scorponok was part of an ambush, enabling the Predacons to steal another stasis pod and bring [[Blackarachnia (BW)|Blackarachnia]] online. Terrorsaur would later mount another bid to become leader, with [[Rattrap]]'s help, but Scorponok announced loudly and at length that his loyalty belonged to Megatron and he would never follow Terrorsaur. As it turned out, Megatron allowed Terrorsaur temporary leadership, so Scorponok appeared to be happy to follow the new leader's commands, at least until it was proved in battle that Terrorsaur was incompetent as a leader. {{storylink|Double Jeopardy}}

Megatron tasked Scorponok with a mission to create a virus for his [[cyberbee]] that would turn Optimus Primal into a coward. Ambushing the Maximal leader and Dinobot as they were on a botanical study near a waterfall, Scorponok managed to have his cyberbee latch onto Optimus when he attempted to help the traitor. Unfortunately, Optimus Primal fired off a shot before going down, dislodging the log Scorponok was sitting upon and sending him over the edge of the waterfall. To greater misfortune, Scorponok had botched the virus, turning Optimus Primal not into a coward, but a fearless, ultra-aggressive berserker. Both Scorponok and Megatron were blown up with the cyberbee when Primal ripped it off and chucked it at Megatron's back. {{storylink|Gorilla Warfare}}

Scorponok spotted the Maximals building a communications array, and gave a video of it to Terrorsaur to take back to Megatron. After word came through that the array was to be destroyed, he confronted the Maximals. Primal intercepted his missiles, Rattrap blew his claw off, and then Dinobot blasted him into the distance-and he would later be squashed by Blackarachnia when Rattrap blasted her off the same cliff. {{storylink|The Probe}} He was later (improbably) one of the Predacons who staged a revolt against Megatron. That should have been the Maximal's first clue it was only a mock revolt, as once they'd made the ''Axalon'' space-worthy, the Predacons emerged from hiding and attempted to take their ship. Scorponok actually downed Dinobot at the start of the fight, but ended up eating the former Predacon's optic beams and a round of fire from the ''Axalon''. Despite this, he was still able to fire a missile to knock Primal from the entry lift, and Megatron would ensure that the ship would never fly again. {{storylink|Victory (episode)|Victory}}

After [[Rhinox (BW)|Rhinox]] was converted into a Predacon by Megatron's [[Transmuter (BW)|Transmuter]], Scorponok found himself assigned to repair the base computer. Unaware that the computer had actually been sabotaged by Rhinox, he was surprised and shocked when the ex-Maximal dropped a pile of heavy crates on him. A spell in a Predacon restoration pool left him ready to extract some revenge, but Rhinox deftly deflected his rage onto Terrorsaur, and the pair had their heads slammed together by Rhinox. Despite all this, he was able to take part in the inevitable fight with the Maximals, during which he was able to take some of his anger out on Dinobot. He ultimately lost the fight and was at ground zero when the Transmuter exploded. {{storylink|Dark Designs}}

Scorponok acted as a lab assistant to Megatron, as his leader created a [[Clone One|clone of Dinobot]]. He was a teeny bit skeptical at the result. {{storylink|Double Dinobot}} When another stasis pod crashed, Megatron dispatched [[Blackarachnia (BW)|Blackarachnia]] and Scorponok to retrieve it. Blackarachnia was disgusted by Scorponok's subservient attitude, and on their way to the pod, she ditched him. Scorponok almost immediately ran into [[Tigatron]], who ended his quest by freezing him. {{storylink|The Spark}}

Scorponok was again teamed with Blackarachnia when Terrorsaur and Waspinator found a [[Brigadoon|weird flying island]]. After they reached the island, Scorponok used a cyberbee to check the place out, but it was intercepted by Tigatron. {{storylink|The Trigger, Part 1}} The two Predacons reached the obelisk at the center of the island and blasted their way in. When Blackarachnia announced the island's power would allow her to defeat even Megatron, Scorponok revealed that he had been sent with her to make sure that didn't happen. Of course, she promptly tricked him into triggering one of the island's many traps, and he fell through the hole that opened up to the ground below. {{storylink|The Trigger, Part 2}}

On another occasion, Scorponok was on lookout when he spotted Tarantulas being "chased" by a stasis pod. Megatron ordered he obtain take the stasis pod back to base, so he confronted Tarantulas... only for the pod to blow up, knocking him into some boulders, where a falling rock rendered him unconscious. By the time he recovered, the fight was over, and Megatron ordered him to gather up [[Inferno (BW)|Inferno]] for repair. {{storylink|Spider's Game}} He took part in a diversionary attack on the ''Axalon'', while Waspinator and Terrorsaur stole the ship's [[rectifier coil]]. Later, once the Maximals had gone feral, he participated on the hunt by carrying Megatron's chair, but was taken down by Cheetor once the Maximals overcame their beast instincts. {{storylink|Call of the Wild}}

In one of his rare successes, Scorponok triggered an energon explosion, apparently taking out a group of Maximals. In reality, he'd simply blinded them, but he didn't find this out until after he'd reported back to Megatron. {{storylink|Dark Voyage}} After [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]], possessing the body of Waspinator, helped the Predacons take over the ''Axalon'', Megatron left the [[Decepticon]] in charge of the Maximal base with Scorponok and Blackarachnia as underlings. Scorponok was among the Predacons who were taken out by Rhinox's almighty fart. {{storylink|The Low Road}} After Megatron declared a truce, and Tigatron infiltrated the Predacon base in search of information, Scorponok and Terrorsaur attempted to stop the Maximal from escaping, and ended up colliding spectacularly. Luckily for Scorponok, he didn't have to pursue Tigatron, as the Predacons who did mostly came back on stretchers. {{storylink|Before the Storm}} Scorponok later accompanied Megatron on a mission to an [[Bio-Dome|alien construct]] which had appeared. His toxic sting was instrumental in breaching the construct's wall, allowing Rattrap to get inside and retrieve [[Airazor (BW)|Airazor]]. Of course, a short time later, Rattrap used one of Scorponok's missiles to dispose of Megatron, shortly before Scorponok himself was blasted by Airazor. {{storylink|Other Voices, Part 1}}

Back at base, Scorponok and the other Predacons monitored the situation with the [[Planet Buster]] which had been revealed high above the planet. Though Scorponok was confident that Megatron would save them, his leader announced that he had someone else in mind to do that. As it turned out, Optimus Primal was the one who piloted a modified stasis pod and blew up the Planet Buster. {{storylink|Other Voices, Part 2}} Scorponok celebrated with his fellow Predacons, but the destruction of the alien weapon had other consequences. A [[quantum surge]] flooded through the base, beginning to mutate their bodies into [[Transmetal]]s. However both Scorponok and Terrorsaur lost control of their hover platforms, crashing into each other and tumbling into the lava beneath the Predacon base, where they perished. No one much noticed, though Blackarachnia pointed out that only Waspinator was present with Megatron when the Predacons arrived at the ''Axalon'' (only to keep herself from getting blasted). {{storylink|Aftermath}}

Additionally, the area is populated by ravenous beasts, including what appears to be velociraptors! But of all the obstacles to be faced, the most incredible appear to be an automated weapon that FIRES ravenous beasts! Turrets mounted on hillsides dispense snakes to antagonize Maximals who approach it. If all of this wasn't enough, the large amount of energon deposits throughout the area force the lone warrior to revert to beast mode oftentimes. After the Maximal traverses the desert, Scorponok is revealed to be in command of his own personal base! Thus the confrontation between Maximal and Predacon begins: the bout starts with Scorponok standing outside his base, protected by a shield and two autoguns (he'd been saving up for his own little place in the wasteland, obviously), on the opposite side of a canyon from the Maximal. Whilst the autoguns fire, Scorponok also unleashes volleys of his personal arsenal. Once the guns are destroyed, the whole shield program shuts down. Scorponok then begins strafing and firing, but after a few more hits, falls into the canyon. Nonetheless, this is not the end of Scorponok! The Maximal must now confront Scorponok in a close-quarter combat, by following his enemy into the canyon. To better serve Megatron and the Decepticons, Ravage has become the most efficient and deadly war machine under his command. He hides himself in the shadows, waiting for the perfect moment to strike with grim accuracy. His name is synonymous with stealth. His survivors are few.

The detonation of the volcano, [[Mount St. Hilary]], reactivated the Autobots and Decepticons, unleashing their war on Earth. The two factions soon found themselves battling on the site of a drive-in movie theatre, where Ravage was able to distract [[Hound (G1)|Hound]] from determining the location of [[Bumblebee (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity|Bumblebee]], who had gone missing. {{storylink|The Transformers (issue)|The Transformers}} The Decepticons found themselves in need of energy, so Megatron ordered Ravage to investigate [[Harrison Nuclear Power Plant]]. During the Decepticons' immediate attack on the Ark, Ravage singled out Mirage, intent on finishing the job he had begun earlier. Ravage ignored Mirage's pleas for a peaceful discussion and removed Mirage's arm with his teeth. Ravage relentlessly tracked the human's scent across the [[Pacific Northwest]] towards [[Wyoming]], despite Finkleberg's discarding of most of his smell by exchanging clothes. At this point, Ravage had apparently given up on returning Finkleberg to the Decepticons alive, and had begun shooting to kill. This change in protocol resulted in a melted campsite where Finkleberg had abandoned his clothes, but little else. Days later, Ravage tracked the human down in Wyoming, where he was protected by the Autobot named [[Skids (G1)|Skids]] and the Autobot's human companion [[Charlene (cowgirl)|Charlene]]. Ravage chased the trio through a small downtown area where he subdued Skids. Skids (and Finkleberg, by extension) was rescued by an unlikely hero, [[Jake Dalrymple]], when Jake rammed his sports car into Ravage, toppling the Decepticon momentarily. When [[Bumblebee (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity|Bumblebee]] and [[Spike Witwicky (G1)|Spike Witwicky]] tried to escape after being forced to take part in the Decepticon [[space bridge]] experiments, Soundwave sent Ravage after them. Ravage prevented Bumblebee from coming to Spike's aid when the lad tripped. During a fight in a cave, [[Ironhide (G1)|Ironhide]] stopped Soundwave from ejecting Ravage again. Ravage later got to guard Spike as the Decepticons prepared for another attempt to use the space bridge. {{storylink|Transport to Oblivion}} Ravage briefly got the better of [[Bluestreak (G1)|Bluestreak]], until he was thrown off, and [[Prowl (G1)|Prowl]] blasted him, resulting in Soundwave soundly zapping Prowl in retaliation. Dinobots}} After Soundwave spotted Bumblebee, Spike and [[Luisa]] sneaking into an Incan temple through a secret passage, he sent Ravage in after them. The Decepticon caught up with his prey as they attempted to get [[Jetfire (G1)|Skyfire]] online, and struggled with Bumblebee at length. During Megatron's gladiatorial match with [[Optimus Prime (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity|Optimus Prime]], Ravage was let out to watch his master battle their nemesis. Soundwave also petted him. This would be cute if it wasn't creepy. {{storylink|Heavy Metal War}} Ravage and Laserbeak were utilised to round up a pair of gold miners, during another Decepticon plan. Ravage dragged his captive back by the pants leg. He was unleashed again during the battle at the [[Solar Needle]], and briefly got the better of Bumblebee until the Autobot kicked him off. {{storylink|Changing Gears}} He attacked Bumblebee again in a city, only retreating after Spike use jumper cables to deliver a nasty shock. When a small group of Autobots came to the aid of their fellows, who'd fallen victim to Megatron's [[Transfixatron]], Soundwave sent Ravage to stop them using an [[anti-transfixation grenade]]. The jaguar pounced on Chip Chase, but was too late to prevent the boy from hurling the device, and the Autobots were freed from their paralysis. {{storylink|The Autobot Run}} When Soundwave sent Rumble and Ravage after Spike, Bumblebee and Wheeljack in [[Sub-Atlantica]], the pair instead discovered that [[Nergill]] intended to blow them all up. While Soundwave and Ravage were spying on the Autobots, they learned of the existence of [[Dinobot Island (G1)|Dinobot Island]], and Soundwave dispatched Laserbeak to investigate further. {{storylink|Dinobot Island, Part 1}} Ravage and the other cassettes attack an Autobot bunker, aiming to steal the [[Negavator]]. Despite briefly taking control of the device, the Autobot forces overwhelmed them, and they were forced to retreat. {{storylink|Auto Berserk}} During one of the Decepticons' many trips to South America, Ravage got to meet up with a real jaguar. Despite his resemblance, the non-robotic jaguar did not take kindly to Ravage's presence and engaged him in a "cat-fight". During Megatron's attempt to convince the humans that the Decepticons were good and the Autobots were evil, Ravage was dispatched to track down [[Spike Witwicky (G1)|Spike Witwicky]] when the human searched for evidence that would exonerate the Autobots. Cornering the flesh creature in a studio control room, Ravage had a door closed on him, was electrocuted by a control panel, and had a shelf filled with video cassettes pushed onto him. {{storylink|Megatron's Master Plan, Part 1}} To make Ravage feel better, Soundwave took Ravage along with the other cassettes to a teen dance party, where Ravage was a big hit with the ladies. {{storylink|Megatron's Master Plan, Part 2}}

During another mission, Ravage ejected from Soundwave, but before he could jump out of the back of [[Ironhide (G1)|Ironhide]], [[Blaster (G1)|Blaster]] grabbed him by the tail. While he and Blaster struggled, Soundwave wandered off to report to Megatron. Eventually Ironhide noticed the fight going on inside him and transformed, ejecting both combatants. Some time later, Ravage spontaneously ejected from Soundwave and began sniffing around on the ground, the first sign of a [[Cybertonium]] depletion that would affect all of the Transformers. During a subsequent fight with the Autobots, Ravage pounced on Optimus Prime, only for a malfunction to cause him to revert to his cassette mode. Ravage led a group of Decepticons into the [[Dragon Mound]], and through a portal to 543 A.D. Ravage was sent after a spying [[Nimue]], but fell afoul of [[Warpath (G1)|Warpath]] and was forced to retreat without his prize. The Decepticons set about trying to discover the means to generate energy, resulting in a series of events which led to Blackthorne's castle being stormed by Warpath, [[Hoist (G1)|Hoist]] and Blackthorne's enemies. Ravage attacked Spike when the boy attempted to rescue Nimue, but was chased off by [[Solomon|an annoying bird]]. In the aftermath of the battle, Ravage attempted to pull Rumble out of the rubble. Some time later, Ravage, along with Starscream, [[Thrust (G1)|Thrust]], and Soundwave, was transported to a [[Brobdingnag|planet with massive inhabitants]], along with a group of Autobots, in a space bridge accident. The first creature they encountered, [[Aron (G1)|Aron]], thought the Decepticons were toys. Ravage attempted to escape, but Aron's cat [[Nitro]] chased after Ravage like a mouse (how embarrassing). Aron put him with his pet hamster, [[Booper]], in his cage. Instead of immediately asserting his dominance by killing the beast, Ravage went and ran on the creature's exercise wheel. When captured by scientists, they attempted to dissect the Transformers, but Ravage was able to pick his locks and free the Decepticons, who hijacked the Autobots light beam to head back to Earth... and landed in a lake filled with alligators. Ravage is one of the few Decepticon warriors who was granted amnesty at the end of the Great War and reformatted into a Predacon, complete with [[Accents|classy Russian accent]]. He was sent by the [[Tripredacus Council]] to capture [[Megatron (BW)|Megatron]], clean up any messes he might have made, and deal with the rest of the beast warriors. (Whether this translated to "kill them all" in the minds of the Tripredacus Council is unclear, but that was apparently Ravage's intent.) Ravage made the trip to prehistoric Earth in a specially modified stealth [[transwarp cruiser]]. He successfully contacted the [[Maximal|Maximals]] and allied with them to capture Megatron. Due to the stealth capabilities of his ship, and the fact that [[Tarantulas (BW)|Tarantulas]] was also an agent of the council, Ravage and the Maximals easily captured Megatron and imprisoned him. {{storylink|The Agenda (Part 1)}}

Megatron, however, had one more card to play. He knew that Ravage wasn't going to let any of the beast warriors live, and also knew he had the one thing that would turn Ravage to his side. Using a fragment from the [[Golden Disk (Voyager)|Golden Disk]], Megatron showed Ravage something which shocked him—a message from [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]], the leader of the Decepticons. As a safeguard against potential defeat, Megatron had left instructions for the descendants of the Decepticons to use transwarp technology to return to prehistoric Earth. Although the message cut out before it was finished, Megatron's plan worked: Ravage, moved by the sight of his former master, released Megatron. After Megatron explained the rest of the message, Ravage joined the [[Predacon (BW)|Predacons]] and turned on the Maximals. Even though the [[Maximal|Maximals]] had left Earth with [[Megatron (BW)|Megatron]], the [[Beast Wars (event)|Beast Wars]] were far from over! [[Tarantulas (BW)|Tarantulas]]'s "death" was actually a cover for his return in a more powerful form that had ingested the power of the [[Vok]]! He revived Ravage into a new [[Transmetal 2]] body to help boost his forces, which also included [[Iguanus (BW)|Iguanus]] and [[Razorclaw (BW)|Razorclaw]], and prepared to begin the next stage of his evil plan. Meanwhile, the remnants of Ravage's previous body were recycled by the Vok to re-create [[Tigatron]]. {{storylink|Primeval Dawn Part 1}}

Soon, Ravage led an attack on [[Primal Prime]], the Vok's new champion, and managed to separate Prime from Tigatron, [[Airazor (BW)|Airazor]], and [[Ramulus]]. Ravage boasted of his "dark cloak" which shrouded him from even Airazor's impressive sensor array, and unleashed a volley of missiles which knocked her out of the sky. Meanwhile, Tarantulas encountered Primal Prime far from the main battle, and after a heated battle, the [[Matrix of Leadership|Matrix]] itself was ripped from his chest by the undead [[Unicron's Spawn|spawn of Unicron]]. {{storylink|Primeval Dawn Part 2}}

Back at [[Tarantulas's lair]], with the Matrix in their possession, Ravage oversaw the construction of a [[transwarp]] portal that would transport them deep within the maw of their new master, [[Unicron]]! Their newly-born ally, [[Spittor (BW)|Spittor]], expressed frustration at their unwillingness to finish off the Maximals during the battle, and Ravage responded brutally. Ravage was immune to Spittor's deadly venom-covered surface, but Spittor was not likewise protected from Ravage's savage claws, so Spittor quickly quit complaining. Once the portal was completed, Tarantulas allowed them to attack the Maximals; Ravage and the others had served their purpose. Ravage led them to the Ark, but warned them to not disturb the [[Autobot|Autobots]] or [[Decepticon|Decepticons]] on board. But little did they know that the Vok themselves had taken control of Primal Prime's body, and remade it in their powerful image... {{storylink|Primeval Dawn Part 3}}

While Ravage is considered by many to be loyal only to himself, his primary loyalty is actually to Megatron and the dream of Decepticon conquest. He views himself as carrying on where Megatron left off, scheming and operating constantly to end Cybertron's peace and bring back a conquering empire. Any plot and rebellion, you'll find Ravage there.

Magmatron recovered Ravage's heavily-damaged torso, which still contained his spark. He then inserted the spark into a blank [[protoform]], which had already been affected by the Transmetal 2 Driver, and Ravage was reborn. {{Storylink|Transformers: Beast Wars Sourcebook|Beast Wars Sourcebook}} In his Transmetal 2 body, he and his fellow Predacons, under the command of Magmatron, sought out [[Razorbeast]]'s band of Maximals. Viewing from a safe distance, Ravage ordered his soldiers to engage. Additional Maximal forces arrived, however, and Ravage's forces were defeated. Subsequently, Ravage would utilize all the Predacons under his command in a desperate attack as a diversion while he crept into the Maximal base to steal the [[chronal phase armband|chronal phase facilitators]] left behind by Magmatron. He was confronted by Razorbeast, who guessed incorrectly that Ravage intended to use them to board the Autobot shuttle and return to Cybertron. Ravage corrected him by stating that he intended to free Megatron and eradicate the Maximal forces. It is not certain if Ravage's intentions for Megatron were another ruse or if he was ''actually'' out of his kitty mind regarding the tactical feasibility of this endeavor.

However, what WAS a ruse was Ravage being offline — as soon as he had been tied up by Razorbeast, the Maximal commander had to leave to help on the battlefield—upon which Ravage stopped playing dead and broke loose rather easily, managing to obtain the chronal displacement bands that Razorbeast had put him right next to after pointing them out. (A tactical genius, that Razorbeast.) However, upon activating the bands, Ravage was pulled into Chronospace by the trapped Magmatron, who warned him of the apocalypse that was to come, and ordered him to form a truce with the Maximals to fight this menace. And after hearing the warning, Ravage heeded the sage advice, sneaking out of the base while [[Chronal phase|chronically displaced]] and re-emerging to the sight of several gun barrels from [[Lio Convoy]], Razorbeast, and the Pack. However, just as he explained the situation, [[Rartorata]] emerged from nowhere and turned Razorbeast into a [[ wikipedia:Princess Mononoke|Princess Mononoke]] homage. {{storylink|The Ascending issue 2|The Ascending #2}}

After introducing himself to Lio Convoy, Ravage agreed with him on a truce until they dealt with the menace of [[Shokaract]]. Commandeering his Predacons, Ravage's forces defeated Rartorata and Ravage extracted a sample of [[Angolmois]] energy from the [[Blendtron]]. When he told Lio Convoy to abandon the Angolmois-infected Razorbeast, the Pack's leader warned him that if he made light of his friend's peril again, he'd personally de-spark him. Ravage boarded the Pack's ship and returned to Cybertron with them, on the way analyzing the Angolmois capsule, to come up with an vaccine. However, as he explained, none of them were qualified scientists for the task. Ravage survived the crash, along with the Pack, and visited Magmatron again. Magmatron told Ravage to chronally-displace Shokaract so he could "enlighten him". He then showed unusual concern for Razorbeast's Maximals, asking how they were doing. Ravage then returned to the battle and hit [[Herald of Shokaract|Shokaract's Heralds]] with a grenade at an opportune moment. After Shokaract's suicide, Ravage found Magmatron returned and they all lived happily ever after.

The Government-run [[Intelligence and Information Institute]] unearthed a mysterious capsule during an archaeological dig. After the dissolution of III and the obtaining of [[Transformer]] probing technology, former III staff found that the container, dubbed "[[Schrödinger's Box]]", was the flight recorder of the Predacon Ravage's stealth ship, containing [[Central Consciousness File X-9]], a copy of the feline's personality and memory engrams deposited into his vessel before his final blaze of glory. When the scientists found a way to communicate with this personality, it offered them its knowledge of future events in exchange for a new body. III agreed, and used a fake [[Binaltech]] project (internally termed the [[X-9 Revival Plan]] and filled under the pretense of "technological synthesis tests") to provide their part of the bargain. However, to truly bring the new Ravage to life, III stole the present-day Ravage—who had been captured by the [[Earth Defense Command]] and stasis-locked into his cassette mode—and implanted him into the new Ravage, thereby 'fusing' the old and new Ravages into one. This new Ravage, however, had no intention of fulfilling his end of the bargain and, after eliminating his benefactors and learning to his shock that history did not change in his faction's favor, decided to rectify his mistake. {{storylink|Ghosts of the Past}}

First on his agenda was his former commander, Megatron; stealing an Autobot shuttle, he located and repaired the [[Kronosphere]] and—during a decisive battle between Megatron's and Optimus Prime's forces that would have normally ended with the Autobots being forced off of Cybertron and into their moon bases—turned the weapon on his own faction, trapping Megatron and his crew in a space-time rift. This alteration in the timeline served two purposes: first, it would give the Autobots the chance to retake Cybertron, which would then lead to them having to face off against the oncoming [[Unicron]] alone, severely weakening them in the process. The second, and more important, purpose was to keep Megatron alive and in good mental health (relatively speaking), thus preventing him from becoming the insane [[Galvatron (G1)|Galvatron]], and allowing him to lead the Decepticons to victory over the battle-weary Autobots. Ravage also [[Transmuter (Binaltech)|Transmuted]] [[Shockwave (G1)|Shockwave]] into a new Binaltech body of his own, so he could lead the remaining Decepticons in Megatron's absence, {{Storylink|Changing Lanes}} and secretly derailed many of the Autobots' supply missions, further weakening them for their battle with the Chaos Bringer.

Unfortunately for him, the Autobot named [[Overdrive]] became aware of Ravage's meddling in history, thanks to his acute sensitivity of the timestream, {{storylink|Reality Check}} and—with the help of [[Wheeljack (G1)|Wheeljack]]—captured the wayward Decepticon and forced a confession out of him. Ravage, however, was not without a trump card, revealing that his alterations might prevent the deaths of many of the Autobots destined to die in the normal timeline (which, as a distinction between the two, was dubbed 'Prime Time' by Wheeljack, Ravage's altered timeline being called 'Ravage Time'), though in the grand scheme of things, only Optimus could not be considered expendable, as he contained the one thing that could bring down Unicron (the [[Autobot]] [[Matrix of Leadership]]). By the time of his capture, however, Unicron had already been sighted on a collision course with Cybertron and, despite the temptation of preventing future deaths among his ranks, Optimus decided Ravage's plans to be too dangerous to allow to come to fruition. To that end, he roped [[Ultra Magnus (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity|Ultra Magnus]] into helping him fly to Unicron in a preemptive strike against the monstrous threat, while the other Autobots (left in the command of [[Skids (G1)|Skids]]), were to initiate "[[Operation: Distant Thunder]]", which involved sending a copy of Wheeljack's memories of what Ravage confessed to them, back in time to a point prior to the Decepticon panther's meddling, via the energies located on [[Dinobot Island (G1)|Dinobot Island]]. {{storylink|Darkest Hour (prose)|Darkest Hour}} If "Operation: Distant Thunder" worked as planned, Ravage's plans would be foiled, and any tremors in the timeline he caused would be smoothed over by "Project Body Shop" (aka, the Binaltech project). Long ago on Cybertron, during [[Megatron (G1)/IDW Generation 1 continuity|Megatron]]'s rise to power, a secret meeting was orchestrated between Soundwave and Megatron. Ravage, Laserbeak, and Buzzsaw attacked and captured two Autobot spies, [[Bumper (G1)|Bumper]] and [[Fastback (G1)|Fastback]], which they brought to Megatron. {{storylink|Megatron Origin issue 2}} After many of the terrorists who would later call themselves Decepticons were captured, Ravage and the others helped [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]] assassinate the members of the [[Kaon]] council. {{storylink|Megatron Origin issue 4}}

When Soundwave ended up on the run from a team of Autobots, he let out Ravage to fight off [[Bumblebee (G1)|Bumblebee]] and [[Hound (G1)|Hound]], though he was defeated by Hound in the process. Millions of years later, when [[Bludgeon (G1)|Bludgeon]] was ordered by Megatron to investigate the disappearance of [[Shockwave (G1)/IDW Generation 1 continuity|Shockwave]], Megatron in turn ordered Soundwave to secretly keep an eye on him. Soundwave took Ravage and Laserbeak with him, and eventually followed Bludgeon and his accomplices to Earth, where Ravage took on the form of a cassette tape in the year 1984. Soundwave observed as a cassette tape player, he sent Ravage and Laserbeak to follow the [[human]] [[Facsimile construct|facsimiles]] constructed by Bludgeon to do his enigmatic work. Ultimately, the trail brought the three to Bludgeon's volcanic lair under [[Mount St. Helens]]. When Soundwave realized that Bludgeon's group intended to reawaken [[Thunderwing (G1)|Thunderwing]], Soundwave, Ravage, and Laserbeak desperately attacked, but Ravage was impaled by Bludgeon's sword. He was later buried by a volcanic eruption, but dug out a year later by the human organization [[Skywatch]]. {{storylink|Spotlight: Soundwave}}

Years later in 2007, he was chained up in the Skywatch headquarters along with Laserbeak and reprogrammed to seek out the other Transformers. {{storylink|Escalation issue 6|Escalation #6}} On his first mission out with Laserbeak, however, the pair's signal from Skywatch was blocked by Soundwave. {{storylink|Devastation issue 4|Devastation #4}}

Ravage sought out Soundwave in the bedroom of young [[Jimmy]], bursting through his household wall. Soundwave had been stuck in his small tape-player altmode for 25 years, so the assistance of Laserbeak was required to haul his small form away. Ravage regrouped with them both at the base of Mount St. Helens, but it was taking all of Soundwave's fast-dwindling energy to keep blocking Skywatch's mind control signals. Fortunately, they had an ally in Shockwave. {{storylink|Maximum Dinobots issue 4|Maximum Dinobots #4}} Soundwave and Shockwave struck a deal which would lead to Soundwave being freed from his altmode prison, leaving Ravage and Laserbeak to be found by Skywatch as part of the plan. A year later, Ravage helped defeat the Autobot regiment on Earth, making way for Decepticon conquest of the planet. {{storylink|All Hail Megatron issue 7|All Hail Megatron #7}} After a failed human counter-attack in [[New York City]], Ravage went after the pilot [[Andy Reid]] so as to prevent him reporting back to his commander. He had the military human and a civilian pinned, when a second human male threw an explosive at him. It detonated on his face, distracting him long enough for the humans to escape. This annoyed him only slightly less than the fact Andy kept calling him a dog. {{storylink|All Hail Megatron issue 2|All Hail Megatron #2}}

After the Decepticons' defeat, they abandoned Earth, leaving Ravage and others behind. [[Spike Witwicky (G1)|Spike Witwicky]] headed a military regiment to hunt down surviving Transformers and found Ravage in an abandoned building. Ravage attacked Spike but got blasted for his efforts. The humans fled the house as Ravage broke through the wall.
