Kiddieformers In Rescue Bots Academy
Updated: I just remember g1 Wheelie and the hatchlings from the second movie, so RBA is not the first transformers show in the west to have kid bots. Still the first to have them be the main characters. I also saw Wheelie in one of the Transformers Animated comic books. The one about the stunti-cons. Ps. Some people say that he is a kid, but I’m not for sure, but I don’t fully doubt it either.

It seem like Rescue Bots Academy is the first Transformers western media to have Cybertronian kids in a serious manner and have the as the main characters. And as the site said, most of time it is seen as a joke. And for anyone wondering, yes they are kids or the equivalent of it. A few episodes like Fin Droid states that they are kids. They do have professional jobs and are training to be rescue bots, but we have to remember that they are alien robots and it would make sense that they would have different standards from us on what kids can and can’t do. They’re probably okay with children working and training to be rescuers. And I don’t think they are children, but they aren’t adults as Fun Droid points it out. The director also states on Twitter that they are 14-15 in human years. And anyone wondering how can bots be kids? Idk, but maybe Primus decided to make young bots in the image of children instead, just like he made some bots to look like women. And they start out small because maybe he’s not strong enough to make regular sizes sparks. Anyway I rather not get into a deep discussion on a preschool show. == Kiddieformers In Rescue Bots Academy ==

It seem like Rescue Bots Academy is the first Transformers western media to have Cybertronian kids and have the as the main characters. Most transformers shows don’t do and as the site said, most of the time it is seen as a joke. They’re probably okay with children working and training to be rescuers.HotRodiie (talk) 09:51, 19 June 2021 (EDT)

Cybertronian Childhood In Rescue Bots Academy (I don’t know how to start a new title here)
Okay I been here before, but have to sign up again since that I lost my old email address. I think that RBA is the first continuity to have child transformers in western media and have them be the main characters. And yes the recruits are kids as the episode Fun Droid points it out. The director on tweets did state that they are 14-15 in human years which are kids as well. They are being train to be rescue bots and kids aren’t train to be rescuers, but alien robots would have different standards from us on what kids can and can’t do. A few other episodes like All Wash Up also have the teachers tell the recruits yes they were old enough to stay without a babysitter and that happen during later in season one. If they were adults, they would be old enough to stay at the school without an adult at the start of season one. This might be the only continuity that has Cybertronian children or something close to it and that also have kid bots with child like portion. They also have professional jobs, but again they are alien robots so they would have different cultural standards from us. And anyone question how can bots be children, I don’t want to get into some deep discussion of a preschool show, but maybe Primus decided to make young bots in a child like appearance. Some people say that g1 Wheelie is a child and he does look like a kid in that TFA comic book, but I’m not for sure about him bein a child, but I don’t fully doubt it either.
And anyone question how can bots be children, I don’t want to get into some deep discussion of a preschool show. Some people say that g1 Wheelie is a child and he does look like a kid in that TFA comic book, but I’m not for sure about him bein a child.HotRodiie (talk) 23:19, 18 June 2021 (EDT)

And anyone question how can bots be children, I don’t want to get into some deep discussion of a preschool show.

Ps. Some people say that g1 Wheelie is a child, but I’m not for sure about that.

Cybertronian Childhood In Rescue Bots Academy (I don’t know how to start a new title here)
Okay I been here before, but have to sign up again since that I lost my old email address. I know Rescue Bots Academy didn’t came out until later on, but I think that this is the first continuity to have child transformers or close to it.

I know Rescue Bots Academy didn’t came out until later on, but I think it proves that at least in some continuities, childhood does exist or something close to it, and not seen as something for laughs and should be taken with doubts.

Ps. Some people say that g1 Wheelie is a child, but I’m not for sure about that.

Okay I been here before, but have to sign up again since that I lost my old email address. I know Rescue Bots Academy didn’t came out until later on, but I think it proves that at least in some continuities, childhood does exist or something close to it, and not seen as something for laughs and should be taken with doubts.

Just wondering if there was support for splitting this into two articles "Transformers (species)" and "Transformers (toyline)" or if folks prefered it as the one joint article? ZacWilliam 14:31, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
:I support a split. Although "toyline" isn't the right word... and neither is franchise. They both already have established meanings in our nomenclature. "Brand" would probably be best. --Steve-o 15:25, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
I'm sorry... did you just say the Transformers aren't robots? -Derik 21:13, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
: Uh, yeah. Mr. IP Address, aren't the tagline "robots in diguise", the term "robot mode", and four whole lines referring to the Transformers as robots right in their titles enough to convince you that's what they are? --Rotty 21:23, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

:: A robot, by definition, is ..."1. A mechanical device that sometimes resembles a human and is capable of performing a variety of often complex human tasks on command or by being programmed in advance. 2. A machine or device that operates automatically or by remote control. 3. A person who works mechanically without original thought, especially one who responds automatically to the commands of others." Try arguing with the American Heritage Dictionary, and then read the phrase "species of robot" and tell me it sounds intelligent. The Transformers are self aware and under nobody's control. Thus, they are not robots.

:: Also, the fact that children almost always associate the term "robot" with something like the Transformers means that Hasbro was and still is smart enough to market their product with that subtitle.

::: Uh, how about the fact that Transformers themselves referred to insecticide that works on other Transformers as Robotic insecticide, if you want self-reference by characters in the fiction? --Rotty 21:58, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

::: "And if we're talking unnatural life forms, we gotta be talking about just one thing! Robots in disguise!" - Cheetor, first episode of Beast Wars --M Sipher 22:18, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
Toy section
The "toys" section here is pretty much useless, particularly in light of the articles Toy, Franchise, and Transformers brand. I'm thinking a disambig up front would be a better way to do the job: "This article is about the fictional robots. For the physical toys, see..." ...hrm. See what, exactly? What say you? -- Repowers 20:24, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
:Aw, c'mon, we should copy-paste the Toys section from every page on the wiki into that section. It'd be hilarious.
Where else were TFs created in deep space and then colonize many planets, one of which would become known as Cybertron? The AllSpark Almanac retcon can't quite erase the fact that Cybertron was colonized by TFs, even if the god who lived there somehow happened to be the same guy who created them in deep space. - Starfield 09:45, 25 May 2013 (EDT)
