[[Image:Nemesisbreakerutrobot.jpg|left|thumb|Don't blink, he doesn't appear this way real often.]]
When [[Megatron (Armada)/Cartoon continuity|Megatron]] returned after his defeat in the [[fire dimension]], he was little more than a ghost surrounded by black fog, part of [[Unicron]]'s shadow spark. As he recreated himself, Megatron also used the remnants of his new-found shadow power to ensnare [[Overhaul (Cybertron)|Leobreaker]]. His shadow force bled off from the Autobot and took form, creating Nemesis Breaker, an evil clone forged from Leobreaker's primal rage and base animal instincts. Little more than a pet for Megatron, Nemesis Breaker still provided the Decepticons much-needed ferocity, as well as a power-up for his master to form Dark Claw Mode, the mirror equal of [[Optimus Prime (Armada)|Optimus Prime]] and Leobreaker's Savage Claw Mode. Although Megatron relished in the new power Nemesis Breaker gave him, he still kept his eye on the prize. Megatron and Nemesis Breaker tricked Prime into believing they desired a final one-on-one battle. Instead, the Decepticons pulled out at the last moment and sped off towards the now-towering [[Omega Lock]]. {{storylink|Darkness (episode)|Darkness}}

As the Decepticons approached the Omega Lock, Nemesis Breaker eagerly ran alongside his master. The Autobots intercepted them, but combining into Dark Claw Mode for his master was almost as fulfilling. {{storylink|Memory (Cybertron)|Memory}} And ''continuing'' to serve as his master's arm was even more enjoyable! But then [[Ransack (Cybertron)|Ransack]] and [[Crumplezone (Cybertron)|Crumplezone]] called Nemesis Breaker's master, telling him the starship ''[[Atlantis]]'' might have information about the last Cyber Planet Key. Nemesis Breaker and his master separated and warped to Earth's Moon to locate the starship, only to see it warping out as soon as they arrived. {{storylink|Escape (episode)|Escape}}

All was not lost, however, as a mysterious stranger named [[Soundwave (Cybertron)|Soundwave]] appeared from nowhere and agreed to transport Nemesis Breaker's master and the Decepticons to [[Gigantion]]. Absolutely free of charge. No strings attached. In any case, Nemesis Breaker and the others loyal to his master arrived on Gigantion. Megatron was eager to begin the search for the final Cyber Planet Key, seize ultimate power, and squash the Autobots once and for all! {{storylink|Warp}}

Unfortunately, things didn't work out that way. The inhabitants of Giant Planet were more formidable than Nemesis Breaker's master had anticipated, and their leader [[Metroplex (Cybertron)|Metroplex]] was awesomely powerful. Even combined in Dark Claw Mode, Nemesis Breaker and Megatron were cast aside with impunity by the gigantic foreman. The might of his blows alone shattered the shadow force of Unicron's spark that gave Nemesis Breaker life, and the big evil cat just faded away in a plume of black smoke. {{storylink|Giant}} {{storylink|Fury (Cybertron)|Fury}}
===Toy bio===
Nemesis Breaker was a warrior from [[Jungle Planet (colony)|Jungle Planet]] devoted to [[Megatron (Armada)|Galvatron]]. His body was based on [[Overhaul (Cybertron)|Leobreaker]]'s, being the [[Autobot]]'s equal in all aspects other than the [[Decepticon]]'s lack honor. Able to find and exploit the weakness of almost any opponent, Nemesis Breaker proved to be a skilled fighter. {{storylink|#Cybertron|Cybertron bio}}
Plugging a [[Cyber Key]] into each of his forelegs/forearms flips down a pair of claws. He can also form something resembling a clawed arm that can be attached to the ''Cybertron'' Leader-Class [[Optimus Prime (Armada)/toys#Cybertron|Optimus Prime]] and [[Megatron (Armada)/toys#Cybertron|Megatron]] molds, though he matches visually the most with [[Megatron (Armada)/toys#CybGalvatron|Galvatron]].

: The [[TakaraTomy|Takara]] ''Galaxy Force'' version of "Dark Ligerjack" was released first, as a [[Toys"R"Us]] [[exclusive]] in 2005. (It was originally solicited as a normal retail release with the ID number "GD-14", but supposedly, low sales of ''Galaxy Force'' forced several larger show-toys into being exclusives.) The Hasbro version was released at normal retail in the sixth wave of Voyagers (the only new toy in that wave) with numerous small [[Paint operation|paint application]] changes, most notably the Decepticon-sigil "tattoo" being on both his right and left shoulders, instead of just his right shoulder on the Hasbro version, so it is more prominent in his normal configuration as Megatron/Galvatron's left arm, and a [[Cyber Key Codes|Cyber Key Code]] stamped on the back of his Cyber Key.

: This mold was also used to make ''[[Transformers: Universe (2008 franchise)|Universe]]'' [[Lio Convoy#Universe (2008)|Leo Prime]] and [[BotCon 2009]] [[Razorclaw (G1)#Timelines|Razorclaw]]''.
==Notes==
*The television CGI model of Nemesis Breaker used during the combiner sequence animation, as well as the representation of the combined arm mode is based upon a modified version of one of the original prototypes of Leobreaker, who had a much more complex and believable "arm mode".
*Although Nemesis Breaker is just a redeco of Leobreaker, he gets entirely new stock footage for his transformation into Dark Claw Mode. Interestingly, he transforms in the reverse way as Leobreaker-his lower body folds up before his upper body, his arms detach one at a time, and he replaces Megatron's left arm (as opposed to Leobreaker [[Primal (Cybertron)|usually]] attaching to Optimus Prime's right side).
*Like his template, Leobreaker, Nemesis Breaker has three claws per arm in robot and beast modes, but only two per arm in Dark Claw Mode.
With the ongoing battles between the Autobots and [[Decepticon]]s and the attacks by the evil [[Unicron]], [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] has suffered a lot of damage over the years. It's '''Longrack'''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s mission to repair this damage. Fixing the planet-wide destruction won't be easy, but Longrack is patient, he'll get it done.

While he prefers building, this doesn't mean he can't put up a fight. He'll take on any Decepticon that tries to interfere with his work and then finish them off with his Crushsteel Punch!
[[File:Force of Habit title image.jpg|thumb|upright=1.8]]
When the threat of the great black hole threatened Cybertron, Longrack was chosen by [[Ultra Magnus (Energon)|Ultra Magnus]] to lead one of several scout expeditions to search for colony worlds that might hold [[Cyber Planet Key]]s, or information leading to them. He was given command of the ''[[Spanner (ship)|Spanner]]'', along with a crew comprising [[Armorhide (Cybertron)|Armorhide]], [[Checkpoint (Energon)|Checkpoint]], and the newly recruited [[Velocitron]]ian named [[Blurr (Cybertron)|Blurr]]. In the region of space known as [[Delta Draconis]], they found a colony world ravaged by war. The colony of [[Combatron (planet)|Combatron]] had been intended as a standing garrison against the inevitable coming of [[Unicron]], but the mysterious disappearance of their [[King Atlas|commanding officer]] set the soldiers against each other, and multiple factions broke out fighting, leading to countless generations of warfare and devastation.

Alerted to the planet's history by a recovered [[Data-Con]], Longrack and his team had the gift of knowledge when they encountered the world's last apparent survivors, Private [[Whirl (Universe)|Whirl]] and his [[Mini-Con]] allies. Longrack managed to impersonate a drill sergeant, using the Combatrons' strict military training against them in order to end the initial hostilities. After the two sides got to talking, Longrack learned two unpleasant truths: (1) the Combatrons had maintained a vault filled to the brim with a doomsday arsenal the likes of which hadn't been seen in vorns and (2) [[Brushguard]] and a detachment of Decepticons were apparently on the planet and closing in on the arsenal.

Longrack, Whirl, and the others struck out for the vault and managed to get the drop on the Decepticons, but not before they had begun ransacking the arsenal. Using a drone generator, the Decepticons produced dozens of [[Decepticlone]]s, and Longrack was eventually brought down by the crazed [[Swindle (Cybertron)|Swindle]] and the Decepticlones' superior numbers. The rest of his team soon followed, with only Armorhide still running free. The lone Autobot commandeered the ''Spanner'' and flew it back to the site of the bunker, crashing it into the Decepticon position to unleash a massive explosion. Longrack got his crew on board the Decepticons' shuttle, the ''[[Upstart]]'', and flew free of the fireball. With Whirl and his Mini-Cons added to the crew, Longrack proceeded on towards his pre-planned rendez-vous with Ultra Magnus and the ''[[Iron Hope (Cybertron)|Iron Hope]]''. {{storylink|Force of Habit}}

Following the war with [[Megatron (Armada)|Galvatron]], Longrack fell under [[Override (Cybertron)|Override]]'s command on board the ''[[Star Arrow]]''. During a space mission when they were transporting a valuable [[Force Chip]], the ''Star Arrow'' was shot down above the planet [[Sandokan]]. Longrack was seriously injured in the crash, losing most of one of his legs. While searching for the means of repairing their ship, Longrack and the Autobots were attacked by [[Synthos]], the deranged creature who had brought their ship down. They managed to retreat to a cave where they set up camp to repair their injuries and signal for rescue. Unfortunately, things were never that simple. The Decepticon mercenary known as [[Astrotrain (Cybertron)|Astrotrain]] arrived on Synthos, searching for their Force Chip and the [[Dark Heart of Sandokan|Dark Heart]] that powered Synthos. [[Excellion (Cybertron)|Excellion]] kept watch over the injured [[Blurr (Cybertron)|Blurr]] and Longrack while Override and [[Swerve (Cybertron)|Swerve]] confronted the Decepticon. The injured Autobots were caught unawares by Astrotrain's [[Mini-Con]] partners, however, and lost the Force Chip to the mercenaries.

The Autobots raced after Astrotrain, and caught up with the Decepticon during a skirmish between him and Synthos. Astrotrain attempted to overpower the creature by using the Force Chip, but was fighting a losing battle. Synthos got possession of the Force Chip and nearly became unstoppable as he tried to add its power to his own Dark Heart. Luckily, Excellion and Blurr managed to fend off the creature and reclaim the Force Chip before any of their enemies could. In an ironic twist, the Autobots were then saved by the arrival of the space pirate [[Cannonball (Cybertron)|Cannonball]], Astrotrain's employer. As the Decepticons occupied themselves with the threat of Synthos, Longrack and the Autobots snuck aboard Cannonball's shuttle and assumed control of the vessel. With the Force Chip safely tucked away, they began their journey back to Cybertron. {{storylink|The Dark Heart of Sandokan}}
This toy was also used as the basis of Beast Era Longrack's Cybertronian form in [[IDW Publishing|IDW]]'s [[Transformers: Beast Wars: The Ascending|''Beast Wars'' comics]].
* While the earlier versions of the mold used to make Longrack included a [[Mini-Con]] partner, neither release of Longrack had one. The Mini-Con partner mold was released in the Japanese ''Galaxy Force'' [[Micron Booster]] wave as [[Grip-Lock|Grip-Lock/Clamp]].
* Given the discovery of [[Buzzsaw (Cybertron)|Buzzsaw]]'s [[:File:Cybertron-Buzzsaw-character-model.jpg|model sample sheet]] confirming him to be the [[Velocitron]]ian race commentator in the ''[[Transformers: Cybertron (cartoon)|Cybertron]]'' cartoon despite all of the other fiction surrounding the character making him a [[Decepticon]], it is very likely that a sample sheet for Longrack exists, thus making either of his cartoon appearances [[canon]].
