==Synopsis==

[[Cody Burns|Cody]] finds [[Chase (RB)|Chase]] reading loudly while a [[Maven Danger]] movie blares on [[television|TV]]. As it turns out, [[Blades (RB)|Blades]] has requested the noise to distract him from worrying about the test flight [[Dani Burns|Dani]] is going on, because she's flying another helicopter. Dani's test flight meanwhile runs into trouble, and she's forced to broadcast a distress as the helicopter starts belching smoke. [[Charlie Burns|Chief]] picks up the mayday, and the rescue team is scrambled. As the helicopter is over water, only Heatwave and Blades can reach it, however as they do the copter abruptly nose-dives as the gears jam. Blades recalls a similar thing happening to him, which gives Dani the idea of putting the helicopter into reverse, and she flies it upside down towards [[Griffin Rock]]. Just short of the docks, she cuts the engine to stop the rotors, and [[Boulder]] and Chase catch the errant copter.

Safely back at the firehouse, Blades asks why Dani keeps going on test missions when they seem to be unsafe. Dani announces that tomorrow is her hundredth mission, and she'll be piloting a solar-sail spaceship, ''[[Echinoderm One]]'', in low-Earth orbit. Blades and Cody ask what happens when the ship's behind the planet from the sun, and Dani explains it has an experimental laser on board which will provide thrust by shooting light energy into the sail.

The next day on the mainland, Dani reveals that if she does a good job on this mission, she's going to be eligible to become a full-time pilot. Blades is upset she won't be around as much, but his lament is cut short when Dani's ride turns up. They return to Griffin Rock where Blades starts work on a giant sign Dani will be able to see from space. Heatwave is puzzled by the fact the paint is the same color as the paper he's using. Meanwhile Dani's spaceship launches, rocketing into orbit before discarding its boosters.

[[Frankie Greene|Frankie]] arrives at the firehouse with her telescope, and [[Graham Burns|Graham]] taps into Dani's radio transmissions back to base in time to overhear her deploying the solar sails. As the ship passes into the Earth's shadow, Dani deploys the laser which gives the ship a burst of speed, though as she notes, the ship's going faster than expected. As Heatwave notes that the glow paint Blades used on his sign is showing up perfectly, Dani's ship passes overhead. Unfortunately at that point the ship encounters a storm of debris from an old wrecked satellite that shreds the ship's sails as well as knocking out her maneuvering jets. Ground control reports that she's heading away from Earth, and the rescue team takes that as their cue to get involved. Leaving Graham and Frankie on Earth, the rest of the team blasts off in the ''[[Sigma]]'' having contacted [[Quickshadow]] to organize keeping Ground Control in the dark.

They contact Dani, but she discovers she's unable to turn the laser off manually, and has to pull a power line to stop it. The ''Sigma'' will take some time to catch up, giving Blades time to complain about Dani taking another job, though she doesn't believe she'll be able to become a full-time test pilot after the disaster the current mission has turned into. Graham and Frankie notice Dani's about to leave Earth's shadow, which will boost her speed and though she tries to retract the solar sail, it's jammed. She's forced to go for a brief space walk and manually detach the sail, however a new problem becomes apparent — the ship is heading directly towards the [[Moon (moon)|Moon]].

The team on the ''Sigma'' go to full power, but don't have enough speed to catch up in time. Frankie and Graham come up with the idea of slingshotting around the Moon. Cody recalls they have jetpacks on board the ship, and though one alone isn't enough to reach Dani in time, Heatwave, Chase and Blades use three of them, with Heatwave and Chase acting as "stages" to boost Blades far enough that he's able to reach Dani's ship. On Frankie's direction, he fires off a burst on his left thruster, sending the ship into a slingshot trajectory. The pair pass behind the Moon and while they're in radio silence, Blades says he's OK with her taking the test pilot job. They eventually pass back into the sunlight, and Heatwave and Chase use grappling hooks to secure the ship to the ''Sigma''. Back on the ground, Dani contacts Ground Control and lets them know everything is fine.

Sometime later, Dani reveals she's not taking the full timejob, as she realized she prefers being part of the rescue team, and sits down to watch ''[[Cupcake Hoarders]]'' with Blades and Cody.

[[Jerry (RB)|Jerry]]'s alarm goes off, and he has to rush off to make a delivery without even taking off his moose mascot costume. This leads into a discussion of what the plural of "moose" is, which [[Frankie Greene|Frankie]] resolves using her new phone, bought using her savings. With practice over, the team heads home. Meanwhile Jerry runs into trouble — having issues driving with his moose costume on, he crashes his truck on a mountain road and is surrounded by several moose. He jumps back into his truck, but a moose starts pushing it over the edge of the cliff. [[Heatwave (RB)|Heatwave]] comes across this scene, however he's unable to approach the truck thanks to the moose and he and his passengers realize the communications tower is busted so they can't contact the rest of the team. They use a flare to try to attract Blades's attention before Heatwave moves in. He manages to scare off all the moose, but the truck goes over the edge. Luckily Blades has arrived in time to save both it and Jerry. The team heads off to find [[Ezra Greene|Doc Greene]] and get the tower fixed.

As it turns out, this is an inflatable [[Insta-adium]] he's bought online. Down at the dock, he starts the stadium inflating, confident that the town will be able to lure in the Brash Ball Big Bowl which will bring in a ton of money. They're still stuck for communications until then, so [[Cody Burns|Cody]] hits on the idea of calling in [[Salvage (RB)|Salvage]] to have a go at repairing the tower. Salvage tries, but in the process the top falls off the tower, though at least the phones are temporarily working.

[[Boulder]] takes a landscaping job, only to discover it's just pulling weeds from [[Neederlander|Mrs Neederlander]]'s lawn, while [[Graham Burns|Graham]] takes what he thinks is a tutoring job, but turns out to be working as a nanny for [[Harrison (RB)|Mr Harrison]]'s kids. [[Chase (RB)|Chase]] opts for a job working as a taxi. Kade starts work as a clown for children's parties, much to Heatwave's disgruntlement. Blades and [[Dani Burns|Dani]] have more fun giving traffic reports for [[Huxley Prescott]], but they quickly discover a dumpster fire. The team have to abandon their side jobs to respond to the emergency. Later in the fire house, they review their takings for the day, and Graham calculates it'll take them over ten years to save enough. Meanwhile Chief announces the team has to be at tomorrow's Brash Ball game as some out-of-town officials are coming.

The team heads to the Brash Ball game, however Kade quickly realizes he's left his cleats at home and has Graham fetch them. Luskey greets the officials to the stadium. As Graham arrives and hands over Kade's cleats, he and Cody quickly realize what the combination of the spikes and the inflatable stadium are going to result in, however their warnings are in vain and the stadium rapidly begins to deflate, taking on water as it does so. The team works together to stabilize the structure longer enough to allow everyone to get out, though the stadium itself ends up sinking. After the Brash Ball officials storm off, the rest of the townsfolk realize the team had been taking on extra jobs to replace the tower and they all pitch in. A new communications tower is later successfully erected on the mountain.

Dani and Blades continued having problems working together. [[Cody Burns|Cody]] interrupted Dani's rock climbing to try and assist, and eventually lured her, Kade, and Graham to the bunker under the fire station in an attempt to get them to bond with their partners, but Dani's enthusiasm about flying just made Blades uncomfortable. When they subsequently had to deal with an active volcano, Dani had to cajole Blades into flying out of the ash cloud. When she later spotted that the lava was flowing into the tunnels leading to the bunker where Cody was, she managed to spur Blades into action so they could pick up a nearby water tower and dump it on the lava. {{storylink|Under Pressure}}

After feeling left out of a rescue, Dani went to [[Ezra Greene|Doc Greene]] and borrowed a scoop claw, which she attached to Blades. The pair were soon bogarting all the rescues with Blades's new attachment, and Kade and Graham registered their complaints with her. She took Blades out on patrol, but when the Autobot was forced down after being struck by lightning, she and Cody were in danger of being baked by a forest fire. Dani, Blades and Cody went to rescue [[Frankie Greene|Frankie]] when it appeared she was in danger from a robot dinosaur, but it turned out the dinosaur was [[Trex]], the Greene's butler and guard dog. When Trex later went rogue, Dani and Blades had to fly Greene back to the lab to debug the beast. {{storylink|Return of the Dino Bot}} Dani was prevented from dropping Cody off at school by a call out. They continued on without the three missing bots, and when there was a problem at the dam, Dani and Graham observed it from base, and Dani spotted that Hayley's minivan was still blocking one of the overflow pipes. She searched for Cody on the ''[[Darby Ava]]'' after her brother was swept out to sea. {{storylink|The Lost Bell}} Dani accompanied the team on a mission to [[Wayward Island]] to investigate a meteorite and acted as a spotter from the air, though after they encountered [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]], she struggled to keep Blades on-mission. After [[Heatwave (RB)|Heatwave]], [[Boulder]] and Chase were stricken by a strange virus, the team returned to the island to get a sample of the meteorite and destroy the rest of it. During a call out concerning a rampaging blob of [[Squilsh]], Dani and Blades tracked the blob from the air. When Griffin Rock has what appeared to be an infestation of ghosts, Dani had to deal not only with the ghosts, but a jumpy robot partner. When the Chief and Chase went missing, she took part in the search which eventually led to the old lead mine, and accompanied Boulder, Blades and Graham inside to search. When Frankie started filming the Bots during a rescue, Chief Burns got Dani to take her home so that the Bots could work without having to pretend to be robots. Dani and the rest of the team later tracked down the cause of the quakes—a subwoofer in underground storage. {{storylink|Shake Up}} After Cody got a [[repulsor badge]] and dubbed himself "Rescue Boy", Dani and the rest of the team had to put up with him taking part in emergencies. Dani and Blades attended the testing of a [[Temporal Station|time machine]], and her partner was transported back to 1939 with the other Bots. {{storylink|It's a Bot Time}} In an alternate reality created when history was changed, Dani and her brothers were mechanics, and Dani was terrified of flying. Dani got the chance to help in another rescue of Taylor, though when he and Kade ended up lost somewhere in dense forest, she instead ended up having to use Blades to retrieve the Mobile HQ from the top of [[Mount Griffin]] after a teleporter malfunction. She was reunited with Taylor after they tracked the missing pair down, and Kade suggested Taylor ask her out. {{storylink|Road Trip}} Dani and the rest of the team had to save the town's citizens when the plants in Frankie's [[Sky Forest (structure)|Sky Forest]] grew out of control. {{storylink|Sky Forest (episode)|Sky Forest}} The team had to had to deal with Cody being aged to an adult as well as a rocket that had become tangled in power lines. {{storylink|One for the Ages}}

After the discovery of an iceberg, Dani and Cody flew out in Blades, only to discover it was actually a frozen [[S.S. Isolde|ship]] carrying a dangerous [[Sub-Zero Expander]]. Dani subsequently took part in an attempt to get rid of the device by blowing it up, which was aborted when it turned out Doctor Morocco had claimed the vessel as salvage. The team had to deal with the fallout when the device exploded and froze a five-mile section of ocean. Dani and the other human members of the team were also saved when their sinking boat was unexpectedly saved by Morocco. {{storylink|Tip of the Iceberg}} Dani was confused and frustrated when Blades refused to cooperate when they were trying to save a downed skier from Mount Griffin during a snow storm. Dani was having a picnic with Taylor which was interrupted by the arrival of [[Woodrow Burns|Uncle Woodrow]]. The rescue team was joined by [[Optimus Prime (WFC)|Optimus Prime]] come to investigate an [[energon]] deposit, and ended up having to mount a rescue mission to a deep cavern to rescue Woodrow and Cody. {{storylink|What Lies Below}} When the expedition ended with the team being trapped underground, Dani found herself in a cavern with Kade, Graham, Blades, and Boulder. After the team discovered a hidden chamber that later proved to be a lost ecosystem, Dani and Blades went airborne in order to scout around. Their efforts to evade a pterodactyl instead led to them being attacked by a large sea creature. The pair escaped, but Blades was injured in the process. Following an asteroid impact on the elevator, Dani and the team had to deal with debris falling onto the town. When lightning struck the [[Power Planter]], causing it to run wild, the team had their work cut out cleaning up after it, but they were eventually able to lure it into a trap. {{storylink|Movers and Shakers}} During the Chief's absence from the island, the team instead found itself under Woodrow's leadership, resulting in some rather unorthodox rescues. {{storylink|Chief Woodrow}} Helping Blades prepare for a visit from Bumblebee, Dani gave Cody her pilot license renewal to mail in. Unfortunately he forgot, and when Dani was unable to fly Blades, she ended up partnering with Bumblebee during the search for [[Liquefier|a relic]]. Their bonding made Blades jealous, but while rescuing people affected by the relic's liquefying powers, Dani almost drowned in quicksand and was rescued by Bumblebee, resulting in Blades being thankful Bumblebee was there. {{storylink|Odd Bot Out}} The rescue team was assigned to complete the rail tunnel to the mainland. After completing that, they wre roped into being on the inaugural journey of the [[Griffin Rock Express]], but ended up having to try to halt the train after it malfunctioned. After a game of [[Rescue Ball]], the team rescued Mayor Luskey from a predicament on a bridge, only to find the mayor was suffering from amnesia. When the Rescue Bots later started acting oddly, the Burns family discovered that they had somehow been replaced by fakes. The family started searching for their friends and when there was an explosion at the docks, they found the Bots, who had been hoodwinked by Doctor Morocco into thinking the Burns family were criminals. {{storylink|Double Villainy}} After the amnesiac Rescue Bots instinctively saved the Burnses from a wave, the Burnses persuaded them to return to the fire house, where the Bots were soon convinced they were all on the same side. As the chain reaction set off by the explosion threatened to sink the island, Dani contacted the life guard to send rescue boats. The team borrowed some tech from the Greenes, and were able to save Griffin Rock by reinforcing the tunnel system with foam. They also arrested Doctor Morocco, who had wiped the Bots' memories, and the damage was able to be reversed. {{storylink|Rise of the Heroes}}

Dani and Blade encountered an unexpected pterodactyl on Mount Griffin and ended up having to capture it. When this led to the discovery of [[dinosaur (dinosaur)|dinosaurs]] on Wayward Island, the team went there, only to end up in a tar pit until they were rescued by Optimus Prime. {{storylink|Land Before Prime (episode)|Land Before Prime}} When Optimus's new dinosaur mode caused him to turn feral and he was abducted by big game hunter [[Quint Quarry]], Dani used her [[Internet]] skills to find his island hideout. The team launched a rescue mission, during which Dani was unimpressed by the number of times Blades got netted by Quarry, but they were ultimately successful in rescuing Optimus. {{storylink|Big Game}}

Phantom Voyager]]'' as she had a keen interest in the story, Dani jumped at the chance to do a fly over the ship in Blades, however the team ended up on board when it vanished as a result. After encountering long-lost [[Ansel Ambrose|Captain Ambrose]], the team found themselves ten years in the future until they worked out a way to reverse the time machine in the ship's hold. Returned to the present, the team returned to the fire house where Dani's research uncovered that Ambrose had successfully returned to 1915 and married [[Lillian]]. Also she regaled everyone with her championship-quality burping. {{storylink|Phantom of the Sea}}

Following a flooding disaster, Chase and Boulder left for a space mission, resulting in Dani having to time share Blades with the rest of the team. {{storylink|Unfinished Business}} When Vigil returned to the town by hitchhiking on a piece of technology, the supercomputer put much of the town, including Dani, temporarily to sleep. {{storylink|No Place Like Dome}} Dani and the team had to deal with mutant metal-eating army ants, which Doctor Morocco left behind as a diversion while he escaped. {{storylink|Bugs in the System}} A trip up in the space elevator resulted in Dani and Blades switching bodies. Dani not only got an insight into what life was like for Blades, but had to deal with Blades overeating while in her body. They were later swapped back. {{storylink|Switcheroo}}

After Kade accidentally ingested some [[scrubmite]]s, Dani and the rest of the team were miniaturized and went into Kade's body in the Bots' ship the ''[[Sigma]]'' to round them up. {{storylink|Bot-Tastic Voyage}} When Quarry kidnapped Baranova in order to get hold of five dinobots, Dani and the rest of the family tracked him back to his island and arrested him. {{storylink|Quarry's Quarry}} Visiting Wayward Island in search of Energon, the team instead found a frozen caveman who turned out to be alive. Though they attempted to help him acclimate to modern life, ultimately they had to return him to the island. {{storylink|Did You See What I Thaw?}}

After giant monsters from a movie were brought into the real world by a new projector, the team had to round them up so that Doc Greene could return them to the movie. {{storylink|The Attack of Humungado}} The Burns family went to be photographed for ''[[Emergency Response Illustrated]]'' off-island. On their way back, the boat was caught in kelp, forcing Dani to don her wetsuit to try and clear it. Her work was temporarily delayed when jellyfish clustered around the boat, however they finally returned to the island where they had to help foil Evan and Myles's latest plan to use souvenir Rescue Bots to rob the townsfolk. {{storylink|All Bots Great and Small}}

When Cody began experiencing repeated time, his foreknowledge allowed the rescue team to prevent a number of disasters and mishaps during the dedication of the town's new clock tower. {{storylink|Time After Time}}

Dani was given the honor of lighting the ceremonial flame for [[Founders' Day]], however when it came out that a Burns family ancestor was a pirate, the mayor took the torch back and suspended the team after accidentally causing a fire. Vowing to clear the Burns name, Dani joined Woodrow and Cody in exploring a cave in an attempt to find the treasure. Clues led them to a nearby island where they unearthed a pirate ship with the treasure still inside, and they were able to persuade the mayor to reinstate the team. {{storylink|Pirates Ahoy}}

When [[High Tide|High Tide's]] introduction led to a cool reception, Dani inadvertently helped defuse the situation by announcing that the smoke alarm meant dinner was ready, thereby giving Optimus Prime and High Tide a chance to speak in private. She would later call Blades in to help her rescue [[Milo]], causing Blades to get in trouble with High Tide for being late to drill. Dani and Blades would later work to keep [[Drilling Platform number 6]] upright long enough for the others to rescue Doc Greene and Frankie. {{storylink|Turning the Tide}} Dani and Blades responded to an emergency that turned out to be [[Jules Verne]] time traveling to present day. {{storylink|The Last of Morocco}}

She and the other Burnses greeted [[Blurr (Prime)|Blurr]] and [[Salvage (RB)|Salvage]] to the fire house, and watched Blurr race Heatwave. {{storylink|The New Recruits}} It soon became clear when Blurr botched a rescue Dani took part in that the new Bot wasn't fitting in with the team. {{storylink|Rescue Bots Academy}} After Blurr stole the ''Sigma'' and a solar flare took out the town's power, Dani had to give Blades some coaxing to get him into the air, and the pair saved a stricken plane by guiding it to safety. {{storylink|A New Hero}}

Dani and the rest of the team had to hunt down [[Servo (RB)|Servo]] after the dog went on an apparent rampage, but later helped Servo save the mayor. {{storylink|Four-Legged Hero}} When Boulder found some endangered woodpeckers, the rescue team had to go into rescue mode when all the sightseers managed to set fire to Blossom Vale. {{storylink|Endangered Species}}

When Chase had to work as the dispatcher due to an injury, he sent the rest of the team on several false alarms, however he successfully helped them arrest some thieves. {{storylink|More than Meets the Eye (RB)|More than Meets the Eye}} When Doc Greene's [[Tone-O-Tuner]] caused everyone in town to sing instead of talk, Dani took part in a video call to educate new recruits and, though reluctant, ended up singing a duet with Blades. {{storylink|I Have Heard the Robots Singing}}

As Chief had to decide what to put in a new time capsule that was to be buried, Dani nominated her toy elephant; however, when an old time capsule was opened, the entire island was teleported to the [[Arctic]] and the team had to work to raise the forcefield dome. {{storylink|Now and Then}} Dani and Blades made an attempt to fly for help, only to find conditions were too poor for flying. After coming up with a plan to float the island back to Maine, the team had their work cut out keeping everyone safe and the island in the air. They eventually made it back. {{storylink|Today and Forever}}

Three years on, Dani was testing a prototype jet when the plane crashed, though she was able to bail out in time and took part in the subsequent damage control. She and Blades went out searching when the mayor was reported missing, and she ended up being abducted by the [[Velgrox]] along with most of the rest of the townsfolk. {{storylink|New Normal}} After the Rescue Bots revealed their secret to the townsfolk, she had to put up with Blades organizing his own fan club. {{storylink|Bridge Building}}

Dani rode in Blades during a foot race which resulted in a near-disaster. A later hunt for the missing [[CeCe Greene]] resulted in the team encountering a new Rescue Bot, [[Quickshadow]]. {{storylink|Arrivals}} Dani took part in a mission set up by Quickshadow to transport [[Phodolite]] through town, however when part of the load spilled, the rescue team had to rely on Chase's plan B when Quickshadow didn't have one herself. {{storylink|Plus One (RB)|Plus One}} Following an incident at the town pool, the team relaxed at the [[Griffin Rock Fun Zone|Fun Zone]] until it turned out the [[Morocco virus]] had invaded the virtual reality game there. The team had to deal with a number of unrelated disasters around town which eventually turned out to be a scheme by [[Madeline Pynch]] to drive everyone out so she could redevelop the island into a resort. {{storylink|Vanishing Returns}} When Evan and Myles tried to steal Quickshadow and discovered the Rescue Bots' secret, the Rescue Team came up with a plan to discredit their footage by staging a movie of their own. {{storylink|Ghost in the Machine (RB)|Ghost in the Machine}} After the Rescue Bots were abducted by [[Thurston Chumley|Lord Chumley]], Dani used her pull as a test pilot to borrow an aircraft so the rest of the team could roll to their rescue. {{storylink|Enemy of My Enemy}}

The team helped Chase get elected as mayor, only to find that the Rescue Bot was so strict in his rule that he ended up endangering the island. {{storylink|Mayor May Not}} After being woken early-morning by Boulder celebrating [[All Spark Day (event)|All Spark Day]], the team had to deal with a marine rescue, and then CeCe Greene enlarged to giant size by the Minimizer. They later all celebrated All Spark Day with the help of the rest of town. {{storylink|All Spark Day (episode)|All Spark Day}} When the town's communications tower required replacing, the team took on second jobs — Blades and Dani operated a traffic report for Huxley. She later learned that the test flights were going to be passing over the new base, but the base's cloaking system was malfunctioning. {{storylink|The More Things Change...}} She did her best to delay the test flight, and the rest of the team had repaired the cloaking device by the time the flight passed over it. {{storylink|The More Things Stay the Same}}

On discovering that Blurr was party crashing motor races, Dani opted to keep it a secret from the rest of the team and confront the errant bot herself, only to be talked into taking part in a race with him. When that resulted in the pair damaging a stand, they were exposed to the rest of the team. Dani rejoined Blades in monitoring the third race of the series, however when some new tech resulted in the cars losing control, she and Blurr reunited to stop them. {{storylink|Hot Rod Bot}} Dani accompanied Chief, Heatwave and Blades to [[Africa]] to find Woodrow, and ended up helping to save a family of gorillas from an erupting volcano. {{storylink|King Burns}}
