Personally, I think Starscream's line wasn't meant to be cannon, rather a sign of his absolute craving, by this point, for anything that would give him an advantage over Megatron. So he could have easily made a mistake. It's also possible that since the Armor was created by Solus Prime, it could pre-date the Autobot/Decepticon conflict, incorporating elements that would only become a Decipticon trademark, several million years later. == Juggernaut and Metallo? ==

Two things about the Apex Armor in this episode... one, the way it looks on Starscream (in overall shape, with the rounded shoulders and helmet in particular), and the power it grants him (nigh-invulnerability), seems very reminiscent of the Juggernaut to me. Also, the way the episode ended, with Starscream still in the armor, doggedly walking underwater because he lacks the buoyancy or means to propel himself, is similar to how Metallo's first appearance in Superman: The Animated Series (episode 7, "The Way of All Flesh") ended.
No to the Juggernaut reference. The Apex Armor is basically your standard nigh-invulnerable super armor so it'll be bound to look kinda Juggernaut-y regardless of being intended to resemble it or not. As for the second supposed reference, also no because that is just what would happen with someone if they where in heavy armor and fell into the water -they're gonna sink to the bottom and walk along the bottom. :::I just can't imagine calling the big Sentinel Prime a G1 toy. I don't have a real counterproposal except maybe making pages for Kre-O-Verse versions of the characters. Hasbro doubtless considers them to be from the new Aligned Continuity That Everything Is From. Again, this is not a problem that's going to go away. -LV 20:40, 10 June 2011 (EDT)
:::::I think we should aim for consistency. Meaning, that we shouldn't say that "Optimus is from the Movieverse, Prowl is G1, and Bumblebee is Aligned".
:::::Seems simple to me. They're all 'Kre-O' characters, first and foremost. In each description, just mention what universe the design is based on. So, for the 'Mustang' Bumblebee, it's Advanced Kre-O Bumblebee, based on his appearance in the movie. For Kre-O Jazz, he's based on his G1 appearance, though his gray/silver is based on the movie coloration. Etc. ::::::I'm inclined to say a Kre-O continuity is the most parsimonious solution.
