Ramjet managed to do fairly well in the space bridge battle. He never told his Autobot targets that he wasn't about to shoot them. He was not trapped by Prowl in a pair of stasis cuffs, and after that didn't happen, he wasn't helped to escape by the Sycophant, and he never denied that any of this occurred. When Omega Supreme came on the scene, Ramjet did not try to tell the giant his stabilizing servo was unbolted. Had he done so, Omega would have fallen for it and not just promptly kicked the clone a few miles away. A Bridge Too Close, Part II

Later, a stasis-cuffed Lugnut wasn't helped at all out of his plight by Ramjet. And even if that had happened, the clone was being completely honest when he promised not to tell Megatron about Lugnut's humiliating failure. But none of that happened so it doesn't matter. Yeah, that's the ticket. Three's a Crowd
Long after that, Lockdown didn't capture the disarmed and helpless Ramjet for Sentinel Prime in exchange for a gyro-stabilizer. However, Lockdown didn't double-cross Sentinel when Ramjet didn't offer the bounty hunter a better deal earlier. Ramjet didn't break free and stasis cuff the alert Autobot on the spot. As Ramjet didn't try to get away with the armed and dangerous Sentinel, he wasn't knocked out of the sky by Jetfire and Jetstorm, who weren't accompanied by Optimus Prime and Jazz. Even if they did, the battle didn't go in Ramjet's favor and he didn't use Sentinel as a shield against their attacks. Ramjet didn't try to escape again, but Optimus didn't cover his face with foam. Had that happened, he wouldn't have dropped Sentinel head-first into the ground. After Safeguard didn't blast him out of the sky with a fireball, Optimus and Jazz didn't push a scoreboard on top of him. If they did, it wouldn't have hurt one bit, and he wouldn't have been stasis cuffed and hauled into custody. Five Servos of Doom

Later, Sentinel Prime didn't steer his ship through a stormy nebula. Nor did it revive Swindle, who wasn't still immobilized from his own slow-down ray. From there, Swindle didn't free and re-arm Ramjet along with the other captured Decepticons. Swindle also didn't give Sunstorm and Ramjet strangely familiar helmets to tell them apart. Afterwards, Ramjet and the Decepticons didn't manhandle the Elite Guard. And if they did, they would've captured them before Sentinel sent a coded SOS to Optimus Prime. Fortunately, Optimus didn't appear out of Swindle's chest, and didn't send Ramjet and other Decepticons into chaos. The battle didn't spill out of the ship, where Jetstorm didn't somehow bombard him with a tornado. Ramjet also wasn't present when Blitzwing didn't capture the Autobots and didn't try to freeze them in the decontamination unit. If he was, he certainly wasn't frozen when Jazz didn't booby-trap decontamination unit. He ultimately wasn't re-captured and sent to Cybertron, where he wasn't paraded around with the jubilant Sentinel. Of course, he is a (vastly superior) redeco of his inferior template, Starscream, and his fellow (and even more inferior) clones, that worthless coward Skywarp and that two-bit suck-up Sunstorm.

: Thundercracker proved entirely too important to waste his time sullying inferior toy store shelves, and was cancelled before receiving a US release. However, unlike several other low-rent toys who this fate also claimed, like Blackout and Wingblade Optimus Prime, even TakaraTomy proved unable to handle just how amazing Thundercracker was, and found themselves unable to find any stores that could contain his magnificence in Japan, either. Hot Shot is obsessed with JaAm. No one's really sure what it is, though Hot Shot's Autobot peers have suggested it may be some mysterious fuel source. Regardless, it's important enough to Hot Shot that he had a vanity license plate made to proclaim his love for it!

WhAt iS jaAm??
Just before the Armada toyline's imminent release in 2002, scans of the first pack-in mini-comic were put online both at Transformers.com and at Ben's World of Transformers, the latter of which received early production samples from Hasbro for review. The original comic was trilingual, forcing the writer to fit three languages worth of dialogue into tiny word bubbles, resulting in short, stilted, and unintentionally goofy-sounding prose. Because of these limitations, many found the mini-comic to be a bit lacking. British fan Yartek took it upon himself to rewrite the dialogue as nonsense. Among other things (such as Cyclonus asking what the hell he turns into and Optimus Prime wondering where his feet are) Hot Shot was famously depicted as an incoherent oddball, randomly screaming non sequiturs such as "mY liFE iS PaIn" and "WhY mY ShOuLdErS hUrT?" in randomly uppercase and lowercase letters using the much-reviled Comic Sans MS font. (This was, perhaps, Yartek's commentary on the art.) The most famous quote, "jaAm", comes from Hot Shot's description of the large green energy-draining device, which he mistakes for a container of Fruit preserves.

The rewritten mini-comic proved to be wildly popular in the fandom and grew to be one of the most persistent memes through the duration of Armada and beyond. When Ben Yee overhauled his toy review system, he commissioned Hot Shot fan David Willis to create a series of images based on the mini-comic. Ironically, the Hot Shot toy itself rated poorly on Ben Yee's scale.

Hot Shot's love of JaAm was referenced twice on his Universe toy—once on his vanity license plate, and about a quarter of his packaging bio is dedicated to it. Hasbro stayed up too late one night drinking, it feels like. Who's complaining?

JaAm would later be referenced in a Transformers cartoon for the first time in the Rescue Bots Academy episode "Rescue Promo". When that show's version of Hot Shot was dropped into a vat during a rescue mission at an out of control Griffin Rock cake factory, he emerged covered in a blue substance which he declared to be "jaaaam!"
*The specific capitalization of "JaAm" never actually appears in the comic, but Hasbro has used this capitalization on the back of Universe Hot Shot's packaging, with the second "A" being larger than the other—perhaps, we humbly propose, because that's how we've spelled it on this wiki.
He doesn't want to fight. He bruises easily! He has a doctor's appointment! Do you have any idea just how dangerous fighting is?! Skywarp was the second cowardly clone, created after the chicken-hearted Clone #3370318 was destroyed. He was the last clone brought online before Starscream led his new force to Earth, and was immediately terrified at the prospect of going up against Megatron. A Bridge Too Close, Part I
Surprisingly, at the start of the battle Skywarp charged in without a look of terror on his face and even took a shot at Megatron. He stopped shooting when Megatron started to deflect the laser with his terrifying swords. When Bumblebee started shooting at him, he mostly cowered and pleaded. Blurr got a pair of stasis cuffs on him, which absolutely terrified him, as he claimed that he had an irrational fear of stasis lock. But then both of them and Thundercracker were accidentally stuck in Mixmaster's glue-like cement and hurled into the space bridge, their destination unknown. A Bridge Too Close, Part II

Skywarp's personal hell only continued on the other side of the space bridge. He was trapped in glue on some desolate planetoid with Blurr and Thundercracker, and the substance was seeping into his circuitry! Even worse, Blurr's idea to get out of the glue was to release short wave sonic pulses, which Thundercracker did, causing an explosion. He could have been hurt! Fortunately, he wasn't. (Did he mention he's afraid of missiles and sharks?) The missile launchers can be pushed towards his wrists to pop out a pair of non-firing "blasters" concealed in each forearm.
:For an added piece of Show-accuracy, one could mistransform his arms and leave them out to the side in vehicle mode so that his blasters sit underneath the wings, although this would result in his arms and hands being exposed. : The TakaraTomy release of the figure trades in his dark gray plastic for a darker black, replaces some of the light metallic purple paint with silver, replaces the gold faction symbols with white-bordered purple ones, has additional painted silver stripes on his wings and vertical stabilizers, and a white border on his cockpit window instead of black, making him slightly more show-accurate in some ways and less in others.
