Ramjet managed to do fairly well in the [[space bridge]] battle. He never told his Autobot targets that he wasn't about to shoot them. He was not trapped by [[Prowl (Animated)|Prowl]] in a pair of [[stasis cuffs]], and after that didn't happen, he wasn't helped to escape by the [[Sunstorm (Animated)|Sycophant]], and he never denied that any of this occurred. When [[Omega Supreme (Animated)|Omega Supreme]] came on the scene, Ramjet did not try to tell the giant his stabilizing servo was unbolted. Later, a stasis-cuffed [[Lugnut (Animated)|Lugnut]] wasn't helped at all out of his plight by Ramjet. Long after that, [[Lockdown (Animated)|Lockdown]] didn't capture the disarmed and helpless Ramjet for [[Sentinel Prime (Animated)|Sentinel Prime]] in exchange for a gyro-stabilizer. However, Lockdown didn't double-cross Sentinel when Ramjet didn't offer the bounty hunter a better deal earlier. Ramjet didn't break free and stasis cuff the alert Autobot on the spot. As Ramjet didn't try to get away with the armed and dangerous Sentinel, he wasn't knocked out of the sky by [[Jetfire (Animated)|Jetfire]] and [[Jetstorm (Animated)|Jetstorm]], who weren't accompanied by [[Optimus Prime (Animated)|Optimus Prime]] and [[Jazz (Animated)|Jazz]]. Even if they did, the battle didn't go in Ramjet's favor and he didn't use Sentinel as a shield against their attacks. Ramjet didn't try to escape again, but Optimus didn't cover his face with foam. Had that happened, he wouldn't have dropped Sentinel head-first into the ground. After [[Safeguard (Animated)|Safeguard]] didn't blast him out of the sky with a fireball, Optimus and Jazz didn't push a scoreboard on top of him. Later, Sentinel Prime didn't steer his ship through a stormy nebula. Nor did it revive [[Swindle (Animated)|Swindle]], who wasn't still immobilized from his own slow-down ray. From there, Swindle didn't free and re-arm Ramjet along with the other captured Decepticons. Swindle also didn't give [[Sunstorm (Animated)|Sunstorm]] and Ramjet strangely familiar helmets to tell them apart. Afterwards, Ramjet and the Decepticons didn't manhandle the Elite Guard. And if they did, they would've captured them before Sentinel sent a coded SOS to Optimus Prime. Fortunately, Optimus didn't appear out of Swindle's chest, and didn't send Ramjet and other Decepticons into chaos. The battle didn't spill out of the ship, where [[Jetstorm (Animated)|Jetstorm]] didn't somehow bombard him with a tornado. Ramjet also wasn't present when [[Blitzwing (Animated)|Blitzwing]] didn't capture the Autobots and didn't try to freeze them in the decontamination unit. If he was, he certainly wasn't frozen when Jazz didn't booby-trap decontamination unit. Just before the [[Transformers: Armada (toyline)|''Armada'' toyline]]'s imminent release in 2002, scans of the [[Armada Volume 1|first]] pack-in [[Transformers: Armada (mini-comic)|mini-comic]] were put online both at [http://www.transformers.com Transformers.com] and at [http://www.bwtf.com Ben's World of Transformers], the latter of which received early production samples from [[Hasbro]] for review. The original comic was trilingual, forcing the [[Chris Sarracini|writer]] to fit three languages worth of dialogue into tiny word bubbles, resulting in short, stilted, and unintentionally goofy-sounding prose. Because of these limitations, many found the mini-comic to be a bit lacking. British fan [[User:Blueshift|Yartek]] took it upon himself to rewrite the dialogue as nonsense. Skywarp was the second cowardly clone, created after the chicken-hearted [[Clone number 3370318|Clone #3370318]] was destroyed. He was the last clone brought online before Starscream led his new force to [[Earth]], and was immediately terrified at the prospect of going up against Megatron. {{storylink|A Bridge Too Close, Part I}}

Surprisingly, at the start of the battle Skywarp charged in without a look of terror on his face and even took a shot at Megatron. He stopped shooting when Megatron started to deflect the laser with his terrifying swords. When [[Bumblebee (Animated)|Bumblebee]] started shooting at him, he mostly cowered and pleaded. [[Blurr (Animated)|Blurr]] got a pair of [[stasis cuffs]] on him, which absolutely terrified him, as he claimed that he had an irrational fear of stasis lock. But then both of them and [[Thundercracker (Animated)|Thundercracker]] were accidentally stuck in [[Mixmaster (Animated)|Mixmaster]]'s glue-like cement and hurled into the space bridge, their destination unknown. {{storylink|A Bridge Too Close, Part II}}

Skywarp's personal hell only continued on the other side of the space bridge. He was trapped in glue on some desolate planetoid with Blurr and Thundercracker, and the substance was seeping into his circuitry! Even worse, Blurr's idea to get out of the glue was to release short wave sonic pulses, which Thundercracker did, causing an explosion. He could have been hurt! Fortunately, he wasn't. Needless to say, Skywarp did not join Thundercracker in pursuing the Autobot. He might have shot back! {{storylink|TransWarped}}

Poor, timid Skywarp was lead into battle for the Decepticon [[space bridge]] along side his other members of the [[Starscream clone (Animated)|Clone Army]]. The battle was terribly dangerous, as both Megatron and Optimus Prime joined forces to kick his keister. {{storylink|The Cool Episode 7}}

Skywarp was terrified of being beaten (and being stepped on—that hurts!) by Megatron again and went along with the other clones to fight the incoming ship ''[[Omega Supreme (Animated)|Orion]]'', but the horrifying Omega Supreme wiped them all out. : A [[redeco]] of Voyager Class [[Starscream (Animated)#Voyager Class|Starscream]], Skywarp transforms into a futuristic, forward-swept wing fighter jet based upon the [http://www.airforce-technology.com/projects/s37/ Su-47 (S-37) Berkut Experimental Fighter] and the [http://macross2.net/m3/macrossplus/yf-19.htm YF-19 "Alpha One"] from the series ''{{w|Macross Plus}}.'' Too bad he's afraid of flying ''and'' speed. This shape allows him to have his faction symbols right-side-up on his wings in robot mode. He features a pair of spring-loaded missile launchers, available in both robot and jet modes; both of the missiles have sculpted shark faces on them. (Did he mention he's afraid of missiles and sharks?) The missile launchers can be pushed towards his wrists to pop out a pair of non-firing "blasters" concealed in each forearm.

While the arms are not poseable enough to do a chin-stroking stance, they do possess enough articulation for a fearful hands-on-head gesture (Oh no, this toy's copying me!).

* Skywarp was announced as a toy at [[BotCon 2008]]'s [[Hasbro]] toy panel. The Hasbro presenters were pretty insistent that he was developed as a non-show character, simply a way to re-use the Voyager Starscream mold. He prays silently that there are no signs of mold degradation.
