These are almost ''exactly'' the same as the TakaraTomy releases, even down to the packaging. The Hasbro versions just add a wraparound fake-box cover to the original Japanese packaging. Presumably the only differences are the addition of tampographed production stamping to the toys proper.

The mold ultimately surfaced as the suspiciously high effort Holiday Optimus Prime for the Christmas season 2022 before its rerelease in more traditional colors as the largely unmarked "VNR Optimus Prime" in 2023, identifiable as a ''Collaborative'' release solely by its internal paperwork. It seems this Volvo truck finally found its way back into ''Collaborative''... as a collab with Volvo themselves.
