==Synopsis==
[[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] has been restored, and [[Optimus Prime (WFC)|Optimus Prime]] gives a speech honoring those not still with them who helped make it possible. However even as he does so, back on [[Earth]] at the bottom of the ocean, [[Megatron (WFC)|Megatron]] is awoken by [[Unicron]]. Megatron is confused as to why his [[spark]] is not one with the [[AllSpark]], but Unicron explains that Megatron's [[Dark Energon]] use has made that impossible. Requiring a new vessel with which to carry out his plans, Unicron reformats Megatron's body into a more powerful form, takes possession of it and heads into the sky. Meanwhile, Optimus holds a short ceremony to promote [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]] to warrior, before announcing that he and [[Wheeljack (Prime)|Wheeljack]] are going to retrieve the physical AllSpark from where it was hidden during the [[Great War (Prime)|Great War]].

Streaking through space, Megatron believes Unicron intends to become ruler of Cybertron, but Unicron reveals that he instead intends to destroy Primus, which will spell the end for that planet, and soon all of the universe.

As [[Bulkhead (Prime)|Bulkhead]] finds construction with [[Vehicon (Prime)|Vehicons]] a troublesome task, [[Arcee (WFC)|Arcee]] reports they've had no luck finding [[Starscream (WFC)|Starscream]] and [[Shockwave (WFC)|Shockwave]]. [[Knock Out (Prime)|Knock Out]], incarcerated on the [[Trypticon (WFC)|warship]], attempts to persuade the Bumblebee he's on their side by providing him with information on where they might locate the fugitive Decepticons. [[Ultra Magnus (WFC)|Ultra Magnus]] and [[Smokescreen (Prime)|Smokescreen]] patrol the [[Rust Sea|Sea of Rust]], now restored to a city, and run into an unpleasant surprise—the [[Predacon (Prime)|Predacons]] [[Darksteel (Prime)|Darksteel]] and [[Skylynx]]. The two Autobots are no match for the new clones, and Magnus is severely injured before Smokescreen manages to use the [[phase shifter]] to make their escape. [[Ratchet (WFC)|Ratchet]] is called to Cybertron to tend to Magnus, while the other Autobots try to decide on their next step.

Across space, Optimus and Wheeljack track the AllSpark to [[Theta Scorpii]]. Not wanting to risk losing [[Ultra Magnus's ship]] in the hazardous conditions there, Optimus continues on alone.

Utilizing Bumblebee's tracking skills, the Autobots find [[Predaking (Prime)|Predaking]], who has located a Predacon burial ground uncovered by the restoration of Cybertron. Bumblebee attempts to persuade Predaking that there can be a truce, but Predaking refuses to forget the Autobots' role in the destruction of his brethren. The Autobots instead head for Megatron's old fortress of [[Darkmount (Cybertron)|Darkmount]], which Knock Out has informed them may contain a map showing the location of Shockwave's laboratories.

Shockwave's current lab is in the ruins of [[Six Lasers Over Cybertron]]. Starscream arrives with another recovered Predacon bone, shortly before Darksteel and Skylynx return, laughing about their recent scrap. Starscream is furious to learn they've wandered off and revealed themselves to the Autobots, ruining their one major advantage, the element of surprise.

Over at Theta Scorpii, Optimus finally sights the AllSpark's container, but there's also an incoming [[plasma storm]], and he has to rush to retrieve their target before it can close in.

As the Autobots are checking out the Darkmount computer, they're interrupted by the arrival of Unicron, who makes it aggressively clear to both Autobot and Megatron alike who's in control of the Decepticon leader's form. The Autobots are no match for the dark god, so they attempt to scram. They're brought to a halt by a [[Smelting pool|smelting pit]], and a blast from Unicron leaves Bulkhead, Arcee and Smokescreen dangling over certain doom. Bumblebee manages to keep Unicron occupied long enough for Ratchet to provide a means of escape via [[GroundBridge]].

Meanwhile, Optimus has retrieved the AllSpark and made it back to the ship mere seconds before the plasma storm, and the Autobots book it out of there, though an asteroid thrown by the chaos collides with the ship. Back on the warship, Bumblebee attempts to contact Optimus, but the damage Magnus's ship sustained means though his message gets through, Optimus can't respond. The Autobots quickly realize that Unicron's plan is to destroy their home planet.

Acting on information from Bumblebee, Predaking finds evidence of Darksteel and Skylynx. He creates a signal in the form of a column of fire to attract the pair to his position, however the first to respond to it is Unicron. Megatron tricks Unicron into fighting the Predacon in the hopes that if their shared body is mangled enough, it will be of no further use to Unicron and Megatron will be freed, however Unicron manages to defeat Predaking and, probing the Predacon's mind, learns of the burial ground.

The burial ground has also been found by Starscream, Darksteel and Skylynx, who summon Shockwave to help in gathering up the bones. Their task is interrupted by the arrival of Unicron, and Starscream is overjoyed to see who he assumes is Megatron, however Unicron corrects him and bats him aside. Darksteel and Skylynx attack, but have no more luck against Unicron than anyone else has had. Opposition defeated, Unicron uses his power to raise the Predacon bones as an army of [[Terrorcon (Prime)|Terrorcons]]. Starscream flees, while Shockwave is quickly dogpiled by the horde.

The Autobots, using the warship's computer to locate Unicron, detect the huge build up of Dark Energon at the burial ground and quickly realize what Unicron intends. As the horde starts moving across [[Hydrax Plateau]] towards the [[Well of All Sparks]], the Autobots prepare to use the warship to defend the location. Ratchet and Ultra Magnus are dropped off at a safe location and Smokescreen goes to retrieve the remaining relics from storage. Starscream arrives on the ship and frees the imprisoned Deceptions. They attempt to retake the ship, however Knock Out turns against Starscream, using the phase shifter to seize the [[Immobilizer]] and clock him with it... which also destroys the Immobilizer. Ooops.

Predaking arrives at the burial ground and is horrified to see that it has been desecrated. He asserts his dominance over Skylynx and Darksteel by fighting them, however Shockwave pops up to suggest they put their combat skills to more productive use against Unicron's horde.

The Autobots make their last stand in the warship, opening fire on the oncoming Terrorcons. While the horde flies up to attack the ship, the Predacon trio arrive to lend a hand. Unfortunately the warship is shot down a short time later by concentrated Terrorcon fire blasts. The Autobots emerge, but Predaking tells them to leave the fighting to the beasts. The Predacons are only able to slow the horde's advance and the Terrorcons start heading into the Well of All Sparks. Unicron himself feels the presence of the AllSpark as Magnus's ship returns to Cybertron. Optimus jumps out to attack Unicron, who shoots down the ship down before Optimus can engage him. Even Optimus has trouble fighting Unicron, and he's only saved when Bumblebee uses the [[polarity gauntlet]] to halt Unicron's blow. Optimus flies to where Bulkhead and Arcee are helping Wheeljack out of the wreck of Magnus's ship, intending to secure the AllSpark. Unicron breaks free of the polarity gauntlet's grasp and catches up with Optimus, who is now fleeing with the AllSpark, shooting the Autobot leader down. Unicron opens the AllSpark container intending to devour the contents, only to find it is empty. Unicron's anti-spark is drawn out of Megatron by the vessel, which pulls it into itself and seals, trapping it there. The link to Unicron severed, the Terrorcon army disintegrates just before it can reach the core.

Starscream lands, having escaped his cell during the crash, and welcomes Megatron back from the dead, believing Megatron will once again lead the Decepticons. Having been put through the torments of Unicron, Megatron is broken, and no longer wishes to be an oppressor. Over Starscream's objections, he declares the Decepticons no more, and flies away, destination unknown. Starscream also flees, going instead to Darkmount where he intended to take his place as Decepticon leader. His reign is short-lived, as the Predacons arrive looking to settle some old scores with him.

At the Well of All Sparks, Optimus reveals that in order to set the trap for Unicron, he was forced to empty the AllSpark into the [[Matrix of Leadership]] inside him. This unfortunately means that his own spark is one with the multitude of others now inside the Matrix, and the only way the AllSpark can be restored to the Well is by merging it with the planet's core, which means giving up his own life. Despite protestations, Optimus assures them there is no other way, and that the age of Primes is over... and that new leaders will arise not by decree of ancient talismans, but by the virtue of their actions. Optimus flies into the Well, sacrificing himself, which releases a multitude of sparks into the sky.

*Predaking is often missing his wings when he transforms into [[beast mode]], for instance during the fight with Unicron/Megatron, Darksteel and Skylynx, and the fight against the Terrorcon Predacons. At the end of the last fight they just suddenly reappear when it ends at the Well of All Sparks.

===Continuity errors===
*Darkmount's throne is undamaged when Starscream tries to claim it, even though Unicron shot it multiple times and pitched a spear through it.
*The manacles that Knock Out and the Vehicons are wearing in their first appearance are gone when Starscream shows up to break them out.
*Ratchet's medical scan of Ultra Magnus shows two intact hands, when he clearly still has the claw Ratchet fashioned for him.
*When Ratchet detects and begins monitoring Unicron's terrorcon army, the map shows them a significant fraction of Cybertron's diameter away from the Well of All Sparks. They also appear on camera travelling by land. Since Cybertron is known to be larger than Earth, the time it would take the army to arrive at their destination should be, at least, about a day.

[[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] has been restored, and [[Optimus Prime (WFC)|Optimus Prime]] gives a speech honoring those not still with them who helped make it possible. However even as he does so, back on [[Earth]] at the bottom of the ocean, [[Megatron (WFC)|Megatron]] is awoken by [[Unicron]]. Megatron is confused as to why his [[spark]] is not one with the [[AllSpark]], but Unicron explains that Megatron's [[Dark Energon]] use has made that impossible. Requiring a new vessel with which to carry out his plans, Unicron reformats Megatron's body into a more powerful form, takes possession of it and heads into the sky. Meanwhile, Optimus holds a short ceremony to promote [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]] to warrior, before announcing that he and [[Wheeljack (Prime)|Wheeljack]] are going to retrieve the physical AllSpark from where it was hidden during the [[Great War (Prime)|Great War]].

Streaking through space, Megatron believes Unicron intends to become ruler of Cybertron, but Unicron reveals that he instead intends to destroy Primus, which will spell the end for that planet, and soon all of the universe.

As [[Bulkhead (Prime)|Bulkhead]] finds construction with [[Vehicon (Prime)|Vehicons]] a troublesome task, [[Arcee (WFC)|Arcee]] reports they've had no luck finding [[Starscream (WFC)|Starscream]] and [[Shockwave (WFC)|Shockwave]]. [[Knock Out (Prime)|Knock Out]], incarcerated on the [[Trypticon (WFC)|warship]], attempts to persuade the Bumblebee he's on their side by providing him with information on where they might locate the fugitive Decepticons. [[Ultra Magnus (WFC)|Ultra Magnus]] and [[Smokescreen (Prime)|Smokescreen]] patrol the [[Rust Sea|Sea of Rust]], now restored to a city, and run into an unpleasant surprise—the [[Predacon (Prime)|Predacons]] [[Darksteel (Prime)|Darksteel]] and [[Skylynx]]. The two Autobots are no match for the new clones, and Magnus is severely injured before Smokescreen manages to use the [[phase shifter]] to make their escape. [[Ratchet (WFC)|Ratchet]] is called to Cybertron to tend to Magnus, while the other Autobots try to decide on their next step.

Across space, Optimus and Wheeljack track the AllSpark to [[Theta Scorpii]]. Not wanting to risk losing [[Ultra Magnus's ship]] in the hazardous conditions there, Optimus continues on alone.

Utilizing Bumblebee's tracking skills, the Autobots find [[Predaking (Prime)|Predaking]], who has located a Predacon burial ground uncovered by the restoration of Cybertron. Bumblebee attempts to persuade Predaking that there can be a truce, but Predaking refuses to forget the Autobots' role in the destruction of his brethren. The Autobots instead head for Megatron's old fortress of [[Darkmount (Cybertron)|Darkmount]], which Knock Out has informed them may contain a map showing the location of Shockwave's laboratories.

Shockwave's current lab is in the ruins of [[Six Lasers Over Cybertron]]. Starscream arrives with another recovered Predacon bone, shortly before Darksteel and Skylynx return, laughing about their recent scrap. Starscream is furious to learn they've wandered off and revealed themselves to the Autobots, ruining their one major advantage, the element of surprise.

Over at Theta Scorpii, Optimus finally sights the AllSpark's container, but there's also an incoming [[plasma storm]], and he has to rush to retrieve their target before it can close in.

As the Autobots are checking out the Darkmount computer, they're interrupted by the arrival of Unicron, who makes it aggressively clear to both Autobot and Megatron alike who's in control of the Decepticon leader's form. The Autobots are no match for the dark god, so they attempt to scram. They're brought to a halt by a [[Smelting pool|smelting pit]], and a blast from Unicron leaves Bulkhead, Arcee and Smokescreen dangling over certain doom. Bumblebee manages to keep Unicron occupied long enough for Ratchet to provide a means of escape via [[GroundBridge]].

Meanwhile, Optimus has retrieved the AllSpark and made it back to the ship mere seconds before the plasma storm, and the Autobots book it out of there, though an asteroid thrown by the chaos collides with the ship. Back on the warship, Bumblebee attempts to contact Optimus, but the damage Magnus's ship sustained means though his message gets through, Optimus can't respond. The Autobots quickly realize that Unicron's plan is to destroy their home planet.

Acting on information from Bumblebee, Predaking finds evidence of Darksteel and Skylynx. He creates a signal in the form of a column of fire to attract the pair to his position, however the first to respond to it is Unicron. Megatron tricks Unicron into fighting the Predacon in the hopes that if their shared body is mangled enough, it will be of no further use to Unicron and Megatron will be freed, however Unicron manages to defeat Predaking and, probing the Predacon's mind, learns of the burial ground.

The burial ground has also been found by Starscream, Darksteel and Skylynx, who summon Shockwave to help in gathering up the bones. Their task is interrupted by the arrival of Unicron, and Starscream is overjoyed to see who he assumes is Megatron, however Unicron corrects him and bats him aside. Darksteel and Skylynx attack, but have no more luck against Unicron than anyone else has had. Opposition defeated, Unicron uses his power to raise the Predacon bones as an army of [[Terrorcon (Prime)|Terrorcons]]. Starscream flees, while Shockwave is quickly dogpiled by the horde.

The Autobots, using the warship's computer to locate Unicron, detect the huge build up of Dark Energon at the burial ground and quickly realize what Unicron intends. As the horde starts moving across [[Hydrax Plateau]] towards the [[Well of All Sparks]], the Autobots prepare to use the warship to defend the location. Ratchet and Ultra Magnus are dropped off at a safe location and Smokescreen goes to retrieve the remaining relics from storage. Starscream arrives on the ship and frees the imprisoned Deceptions. They attempt to retake the ship, however Knock Out turns against Starscream, using the phase shifter to seize the [[Immobilizer]] and clock him with it... which also destroys the Immobilizer. Ooops.

Predaking arrives at the burial ground and is horrified to see that it has been desecrated. He asserts his dominance over Skylynx and Darksteel by fighting them, however Shockwave pops up to suggest they put their combat skills to more productive use against Unicron's horde.

The Autobots make their last stand in the warship, opening fire on the oncoming Terrorcons. While the horde flies up to attack the ship, the Predacon trio arrive to lend a hand. Unfortunately the warship is shot down a short time later by concentrated Terrorcon fire blasts. The Autobots emerge, but Predaking tells them to leave the fighting to the beasts. The Predacons are only able to slow the horde's advance and the Terrorcons start heading into the Well of All Sparks. Unicron himself feels the presence of the AllSpark as Magnus's ship returns to Cybertron. Optimus jumps out to attack Unicron, who shoots down the ship down before Optimus can engage him. Even Optimus has trouble fighting Unicron, and he's only saved when Bumblebee uses the [[polarity gauntlet]] to halt Unicron's blow. Optimus flies to where Bulkhead and Arcee are helping Wheeljack out of the wreck of Magnus's ship, intending to secure the AllSpark. Unicron breaks free of the polarity gauntlet's grasp and catches up with Optimus, who is now fleeing with the AllSpark, shooting the Autobot leader down. Unicron opens the AllSpark container intending to devour the contents, only to find it is empty. Unicron's anti-spark is drawn out of Megatron by the vessel, which pulls it into itself and seals, trapping it there. The link to Unicron severed, the Terrorcon army disintegrates just before it can reach the core.

Starscream lands, having escaped his cell during the crash, and welcomes Megatron back from the dead, believing Megatron will once again lead the Decepticons. Having been put through the torments of Unicron, Megatron is broken, and no longer wishes to be an oppressor. Over Starscream's objections, he declares the Decepticons no more, and flies away, destination unknown. Starscream also flees, going instead to Darkmount where he intended to take his place as Decepticon leader. His reign is short-lived, as the Predacons arrive looking to settle some old scores with him.

At the Well of All Sparks, Optimus reveals that in order to set the trap for Unicron, he was forced to empty the AllSpark into the [[Matrix of Leadership]] inside him. This unfortunately means that his own spark is one with the multitude of others now inside the Matrix, and the only way the AllSpark can be restored to the Well is by merging it with the planet's core, which means giving up his own life. Despite protestations, Optimus assures them there is no other way, and that the age of Primes is over... and that new leaders will arise not by decree of ancient talismans, but by the virtue of their actions. Optimus flies into the Well, sacrificing himself, which releases a multitude of sparks into the sky.

[[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] has been restored, and [[Optimus Prime (WFC)|Optimus Prime]] gives a speech honoring those not still with them who helped make it possible. However even as he does so, back on [[Earth]] at the bottom of the ocean, [[Megatron (WFC)|Megatron]] is awoken by [[Unicron]]. Megatron is confused as to why his [[spark]] is not one with the [[AllSpark]], but Unicron explains that Megatron's [[Dark Energon]] use has made that impossible. Requiring a new vessel with which to carry out his plans, Unicron reformats Megatron's body into a more powerful form, takes possession of it and heads into the sky. Meanwhile, Optimus holds a short ceremony to promote [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]] to warrior, before announcing that he and [[Wheeljack (Prime)|Wheeljack]] are going to retrieve the physical AllSpark from where it was hidden during the [[Great War (Prime)|Great War]].

Streaking through space, Megatron believes Unicron intends to become ruler of Cybertron, but Unicron reveals that he instead intends to destroy Primus, which will spell the end for that planet, and soon all of the universe.

As [[Bulkhead (Prime)|Bulkhead]] finds construction with [[Vehicon (Prime)|Vehicons]] a troublesome task, [[Arcee (WFC)|Arcee]] reports they've had no luck finding [[Starscream (WFC)|Starscream]] and [[Shockwave (WFC)|Shockwave]]. [[Knock Out (Prime)|Knock Out]], incarcerated on the [[Trypticon (WFC)|warship]], attempts to persuade the Bumblebee he's on their side by providing him with information on where they might locate the fugitive Decepticons. [[Ultra Magnus (WFC)|Ultra Magnus]] and [[Smokescreen (Prime)|Smokescreen]] patrol the [[Rust Sea|Sea of Rust]], now restored to a city, and run into an unpleasant surprise—the [[Predacon (Prime)|Predacons]] [[Darksteel (Prime)|Darksteel]] and [[Skylynx]]. The two Autobots are no match for the new clones, and Magnus is severely injured before Smokescreen manages to use the [[phase shifter]] to make their escape. [[Ratchet (WFC)|Ratchet]] is called to Cybertron to tend to Magnus, while the other Autobots try to decide on their next step.

Across space, Optimus and Wheeljack track the AllSpark to [[Theta Scorpii]]. Not wanting to risk losing [[Ultra Magnus's ship]] in the hazardous conditions there, Optimus continues on alone.

Utilizing Bumblebee's tracking skills, the Autobots find [[Predaking (Prime)|Predaking]], who has located a Predacon burial ground uncovered by the restoration of Cybertron. Bumblebee attempts to persuade Predaking that there can be a truce, but Predaking refuses to forget the Autobots' role in the destruction of his brethren. The Autobots instead head for Megatron's old fortress of [[Darkmount (Cybertron)|Darkmount]], which Knock Out has informed them may contain a map showing the location of Shockwave's laboratories.

Shockwave's current lab is in the ruins of [[Six Lasers Over Cybertron]]. Starscream arrives with another recovered Predacon bone, shortly before Darksteel and Skylynx return, laughing about their recent scrap. Starscream is furious to learn they've wandered off and revealed themselves to the Autobots, ruining their one major advantage, the element of surprise.

Over at Theta Scorpii, Optimus finally sights the AllSpark's container, but there's also an incoming [[plasma storm]], and he has to rush to retrieve their target before it can close in.

As the Autobots are checking out the Darkmount computer, they're interrupted by the arrival of Unicron, who makes it aggressively clear to both Autobot and Megatron alike who's in control of the Decepticon leader's form. The Autobots are no match for the dark god, so they attempt to scram. They're brought to a halt by a [[Smelting pool|smelting pit]], and a blast from Unicron leaves Bulkhead, Arcee and Smokescreen dangling over certain doom. Bumblebee manages to keep Unicron occupied long enough for Ratchet to provide a means of escape via [[GroundBridge]].

Meanwhile, Optimus has retrieved the AllSpark and made it back to the ship mere seconds before the plasma storm, and the Autobots book it out of there, though an asteroid thrown by the chaos collides with the ship. Back on the warship, Bumblebee attempts to contact Optimus, but the damage Magnus's ship sustained means though his message gets through, Optimus can't respond. The Autobots quickly realize that Unicron's plan is to destroy their home planet.

Acting on information from Bumblebee, Predaking finds evidence of Darksteel and Skylynx. He creates a signal in the form of a column of fire to attract the pair to his position, however the first to respond to it is Unicron. Megatron tricks Unicron into fighting the Predacon in the hopes that if their shared body is mangled enough, it will be of no further use to Unicron and Megatron will be freed, however Unicron manages to defeat Predaking and, probing the Predacon's mind, learns of the burial ground.

The burial ground has also been found by Starscream, Darksteel and Skylynx, who summon Shockwave to help in gathering up the bones. Their task is interrupted by the arrival of Unicron, and Starscream is overjoyed to see who he assumes is Megatron, however Unicron corrects him and bats him aside. Darksteel and Skylynx attack, but have no more luck against Unicron than anyone else has had. Opposition defeated, Unicron uses his power to raise the Predacon bones as an army of [[Terrorcon (Prime)|Terrorcons]]. Starscream flees, while Shockwave is quickly dogpiled by the horde.

The Autobots, using the warship's computer to locate Unicron, detect the huge build up of Dark Energon at the burial ground and quickly realize what Unicron intends. As the horde starts moving across [[Hydrax Plateau]] towards the [[Well of All Sparks]], the Autobots prepare to use the warship to defend the location. Ratchet and Ultra Magnus are dropped off at a safe location and Smokescreen goes to retrieve the remaining relics from storage. Starscream arrives on the ship and frees the imprisoned Deceptions. They attempt to retake the ship, however Knock Out turns against Starscream, using the phase shifter to seize the [[Immobilizer]] and clock him with it... which also destroys the Immobilizer. Ooops.

Predaking arrives at the burial ground and is horrified to see that it has been desecrated. He asserts his dominance over Skylynx and Darksteel by fighting them, however Shockwave pops up to suggest they put their combat skills to more productive use against Unicron's horde.

The Autobots make their last stand in the warship, opening fire on the oncoming Terrorcons. While the horde flies up to attack the ship, the Predacon trio arrive to lend a hand. Unfortunately the warship is shot down a short time later by concentrated Terrorcon fire blasts. The Autobots emerge, but Predaking tells them to leave the fighting to the beasts. The Predacons are only able to slow the horde's advance and the Terrorcons start heading into the Well of All Sparks. Unicron himself feels the presence of the AllSpark as Magnus's ship returns to Cybertron. Optimus jumps out to attack Unicron, who shoots down the ship down before Optimus can engage him. Even Optimus has trouble fighting Unicron, and he's only saved when Bumblebee uses the [[polarity gauntlet]] to halt Unicron's blow. Optimus flies to where Bulkhead and Arcee are helping Wheeljack out of the wreck of Magnus's ship, intending to secure the AllSpark. Unicron breaks free of the polarity gauntlet's grasp and catches up with Optimus, who is now fleeing with the AllSpark, shooting the Autobot leader down. Unicron opens the AllSpark container intending to devour the contents, only to find it is empty. Unicron's anti-spark is drawn out of Megatron by the vessel, which pulls it into itself and seals, trapping it there. The link to Unicron severed, the Terrorcon army disintegrates just before it can reach the core.

Starscream lands, having escaped his cell during the crash, and welcomes Megatron back from the dead, believing Megatron will once again lead the Decepticons. Having been put through the torments of Unicron, Megatron is broken, and no longer wishes to be an oppressor. Over Starscream's objections, he declares the Decepticons no more, and flies away, destination unknown. Starscream also flees, going instead to Darkmount where he intended to take his place as Decepticon leader. His reign is short-lived, as the Predacons arrive looking to settle some old scores with him.

At the Well of All Sparks, Optimus reveals that in order to set the trap for Unicron, he was forced to empty the AllSpark into the [[Matrix of Leadership]] inside him. This unfortunately means that his own spark is one with the multitude of others now inside the Matrix, and the only way the AllSpark can be restored to the Well is by merging it with the planet's core, which means giving up his own life. Despite protestations, Optimus assures them there is no other way, and that the age of Primes is over... and that new leaders will arise not by decree of ancient talismans, but by the virtue of their actions. Optimus flies into the Well, sacrificing himself, which releases a multitude of sparks into the sky.

[[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] has been restored, and [[Optimus Prime (WFC)|Optimus Prime]] gives a speech honoring those not still with them who helped make it possible. However even as he does so, back on [[Earth]] at the bottom of the ocean, [[Megatron (WFC)|Megatron]] is awoken by [[Unicron]]. Megatron is confused as to why his [[spark]] is not one with the [[AllSpark]], but Unicron explains that Megatron's [[Dark Energon]] use has made that impossible. Requiring a new vessel with which to carry out his plans, Unicron reformats Megatron's body into a more powerful form, takes possession of it and heads into the sky. Meanwhile, Optimus holds a short ceremony to promote [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]] to warrior, before announcing that he and [[Wheeljack (Prime)|Wheeljack]] are going to retrieve the physical AllSpark from where it was hidden during the [[Great War (Prime)|Great War]].

Streaking through space, Megatron believes Unicron intends to become ruler of Cybertron, but Unicron reveals that he instead intends to destroy Primus, which will spell the end for that planet, and soon all of the universe.

As [[Bulkhead (Prime)|Bulkhead]] finds construction with [[Vehicon (Prime)|Vehicons]] a troublesome task, [[Arcee (WFC)|Arcee]] reports they've had no luck finding [[Starscream (WFC)|Starscream]] and [[Shockwave (WFC)|Shockwave]]. [[Knock Out (Prime)|Knock Out]], incarcerated on the [[Trypticon (WFC)|warship]], attempts to persuade the Bumblebee he's on their side by providing him with information on where they might locate the fugitive Decepticons. [[Ultra Magnus (WFC)|Ultra Magnus]] and [[Smokescreen (Prime)|Smokescreen]] patrol the [[Rust Sea|Sea of Rust]], now restored to a city, and run into an unpleasant surprise—the [[Predacon (Prime)|Predacons]] [[Darksteel (Prime)|Darksteel]] and [[Skylynx]]. The two Autobots are no match for the new clones, and Magnus is severely injured before Smokescreen manages to use the [[phase shifter]] to make their escape. [[Ratchet (WFC)|Ratchet]] is called to Cybertron to tend to Magnus, while the other Autobots try to decide on their next step.

Across space, Optimus and Wheeljack track the AllSpark to [[Theta Scorpii]]. Not wanting to risk losing [[Ultra Magnus's ship]] in the hazardous conditions there, Optimus continues on alone.

Utilizing Bumblebee's tracking skills, the Autobots find [[Predaking (Prime)|Predaking]], who has located a Predacon burial ground uncovered by the restoration of Cybertron. Bumblebee attempts to persuade Predaking that there can be a truce, but Predaking refuses to forget the Autobots' role in the destruction of his brethren. The Autobots instead head for Megatron's old fortress of [[Darkmount (Cybertron)|Darkmount]], which Knock Out has informed them may contain a map showing the location of Shockwave's laboratories.

Shockwave's current lab is in the ruins of [[Six Lasers Over Cybertron]]. Starscream arrives with another recovered Predacon bone, shortly before Darksteel and Skylynx return, laughing about their recent scrap. Starscream is furious to learn they've wandered off and revealed themselves to the Autobots, ruining their one major advantage, the element of surprise.

Over at Theta Scorpii, Optimus finally sights the AllSpark's container, but there's also an incoming [[plasma storm]], and he has to rush to retrieve their target before it can close in.

As the Autobots are checking out the Darkmount computer, they're interrupted by the arrival of Unicron, who makes it aggressively clear to both Autobot and Megatron alike who's in control of the Decepticon leader's form. The Autobots are no match for the dark god, so they attempt to scram. They're brought to a halt by a [[Smelting pool|smelting pit]], and a blast from Unicron leaves Bulkhead, Arcee and Smokescreen dangling over certain doom. Bumblebee manages to keep Unicron occupied long enough for Ratchet to provide a means of escape via [[GroundBridge]].

Meanwhile, Optimus has retrieved the AllSpark and made it back to the ship mere seconds before the plasma storm, and the Autobots book it out of there, though an asteroid thrown by the chaos collides with the ship. Back on the warship, Bumblebee attempts to contact Optimus, but the damage Magnus's ship sustained means though his message gets through, Optimus can't respond. The Autobots quickly realize that Unicron's plan is to destroy their home planet.

Acting on information from Bumblebee, Predaking finds evidence of Darksteel and Skylynx. He creates a signal in the form of a column of fire to attract the pair to his position, however the first to respond to it is Unicron. Megatron tricks Unicron into fighting the Predacon in the hopes that if their shared body is mangled enough, it will be of no further use to Unicron and Megatron will be freed, however Unicron manages to defeat Predaking and, probing the Predacon's mind, learns of the burial ground.

The burial ground has also been found by Starscream, Darksteel and Skylynx, who summon Shockwave to help in gathering up the bones. Their task is interrupted by the arrival of Unicron, and Starscream is overjoyed to see who he assumes is Megatron, however Unicron corrects him and bats him aside. Darksteel and Skylynx attack, but have no more luck against Unicron than anyone else has had. Opposition defeated, Unicron uses his power to raise the Predacon bones as an army of [[Terrorcon (Prime)|Terrorcons]]. Starscream flees, while Shockwave is quickly dogpiled by the horde.

The Autobots, using the warship's computer to locate Unicron, detect the huge build up of Dark Energon at the burial ground and quickly realize what Unicron intends. As the horde starts moving across [[Hydrax Plateau]] towards the [[Well of All Sparks]], the Autobots prepare to use the warship to defend the location. Ratchet and Ultra Magnus are dropped off at a safe location and Smokescreen goes to retrieve the remaining relics from storage. Starscream arrives on the ship and frees the imprisoned Deceptions. They attempt to retake the ship, however Knock Out turns against Starscream, using the phase shifter to seize the [[Immobilizer]] and clock him with it... which also destroys the Immobilizer. Ooops.

Predaking arrives at the burial ground and is horrified to see that it has been desecrated. He asserts his dominance over Skylynx and Darksteel by fighting them, however Shockwave pops up to suggest they put their combat skills to more productive use against Unicron's horde.

The Autobots make their last stand in the warship, opening fire on the oncoming Terrorcons. While the horde flies up to attack the ship, the Predacon trio arrive to lend a hand. Unfortunately the warship is shot down a short time later by concentrated Terrorcon fire blasts. The Autobots emerge, but Predaking tells them to leave the fighting to the beasts. The Predacons are only able to slow the horde's advance and the Terrorcons start heading into the Well of All Sparks. Unicron himself feels the presence of the AllSpark as Magnus's ship returns to Cybertron. Optimus jumps out to attack Unicron, who shoots down the ship down before Optimus can engage him. Even Optimus has trouble fighting Unicron, and he's only saved when Bumblebee uses the [[polarity gauntlet]] to halt Unicron's blow. Optimus flies to where Bulkhead and Arcee are helping Wheeljack out of the wreck of Magnus's ship, intending to secure the AllSpark. Unicron breaks free of the polarity gauntlet's grasp and catches up with Optimus, who is now fleeing with the AllSpark, shooting the Autobot leader down. Unicron opens the AllSpark container intending to devour the contents, only to find it is empty. Unicron's anti-spark is drawn out of Megatron by the vessel, which pulls it into itself and seals, trapping it there. The link to Unicron severed, the Terrorcon army disintegrates just before it can reach the core.

Starscream lands, having escaped his cell during the crash, and welcomes Megatron back from the dead, believing Megatron will once again lead the Decepticons. Having been put through the torments of Unicron, Megatron is broken, and no longer wishes to be an oppressor. Over Starscream's objections, he declares the Decepticons no more, and flies away, destination unknown. Starscream also flees, going instead to Darkmount where he intended to take his place as Decepticon leader. His reign is short-lived, as the Predacons arrive looking to settle some old scores with him.

At the Well of All Sparks, Optimus reveals that in order to set the trap for Unicron, he was forced to empty the AllSpark into the [[Matrix of Leadership]] inside him. This unfortunately means that his own spark is one with the multitude of others now inside the Matrix, and the only way the AllSpark can be restored to the Well is by merging it with the planet's core, which means giving up his own life. Despite protestations, Optimus assures them there is no other way, and that the age of Primes is over... and that new leaders will arise not by decree of ancient talismans, but by the virtue of their actions. Optimus flies into the Well, sacrificing himself, which releases a multitude of sparks into the sky.

==Synopsis==
[[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] has been restored, and [[Optimus Prime (WFC)|Optimus Prime]] gives a speech honoring those not still with them who helped make it possible. However even as he does so, back on [[Earth]] at the bottom of the ocean, [[Megatron (WFC)|Megatron]] is awoken by [[Unicron]]. Megatron is confused as to why his [[spark]] is not one with the [[AllSpark]], but Unicron explains that Megatron's [[Dark Energon]] use has made that impossible. Requiring a new vessel with which to carry out his plans, Unicron reformats Megatron's body into a more powerful form, takes possession of it and heads into the sky. Meanwhile, Optimus holds a short ceremony to promote [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]] to warrior, before announcing that he and [[Wheeljack (Prime)|Wheeljack]] are going to retrieve the physical AllSpark from where it was hidden during the [[Great War (Prime)|Great War]].

Streaking through space, Megatron believes Unicron intends to become ruler of Cybertron, but Unicron reveals that he instead intends to destroy Primus, which will spell the end for that planet, and soon all of the universe.

As [[Bulkhead (Prime)|Bulkhead]] finds construction with [[Vehicon (Prime)|Vehicons]] a troublesome task, [[Arcee (WFC)|Arcee]] reports they've had no luck finding [[Starscream (WFC)|Starscream]] and [[Shockwave (WFC)|Shockwave]]. [[Knock Out (Prime)|Knock Out]], incarcerated on the [[Trypticon (WFC)|warship]], attempts to persuade the Bumblebee he's on their side by providing him with information on where they might locate the fugitive Decepticons. [[Ultra Magnus (WFC)|Ultra Magnus]] and [[Smokescreen (Prime)|Smokescreen]] patrol the [[Rust Sea|Sea of Rust]], now restored to a city, and run into an unpleasant surprise—the [[Predacon (Prime)|Predacons]] [[Darksteel (Prime)|Darksteel]] and [[Skylynx]]. The two Autobots are no match for the new clones, and Magnus is severely injured before Smokescreen manages to use the [[phase shifter]] to make their escape. [[Ratchet (WFC)|Ratchet]] is called to Cybertron to tend to Magnus, while the other Autobots try to decide on their next step.

Across space, Optimus and Wheeljack track the AllSpark to [[Theta Scorpii]]. Not wanting to risk losing [[Ultra Magnus's ship]] in the hazardous conditions there, Optimus continues on alone.

Utilizing Bumblebee's tracking skills, the Autobots find [[Predaking (Prime)|Predaking]], who has located a Predacon burial ground uncovered by the restoration of Cybertron. Bumblebee attempts to persuade Predaking that there can be a truce, but Predaking refuses to forget the Autobots' role in the destruction of his brethren. The Autobots instead head for Megatron's old fortress of [[Darkmount (Cybertron)|Darkmount]], which Knock Out has informed them may contain a map showing the location of Shockwave's laboratories.

Shockwave's current lab is in the ruins of [[Six Lasers Over Cybertron]]. Starscream arrives with another recovered Predacon bone, shortly before Darksteel and Skylynx return, laughing about their recent scrap. Starscream is furious to learn they've wandered off and revealed themselves to the Autobots, ruining their one major advantage, the element of surprise.

Over at Theta Scorpii, Optimus finally sights the AllSpark's container, but there's also an incoming [[plasma storm]], and he has to rush to retrieve their target before it can close in.

As the Autobots are checking out the Darkmount computer, they're interrupted by the arrival of Unicron, who makes it aggressively clear to both Autobot and Megatron alike who's in control of the Decepticon leader's form. The Autobots are no match for the dark god, so they attempt to scram. They're brought to a halt by a [[Smelting pool|smelting pit]], and a blast from Unicron leaves Bulkhead, Arcee and Smokescreen dangling over certain doom. Bumblebee manages to keep Unicron occupied long enough for Ratchet to provide a means of escape via [[GroundBridge]].

Meanwhile, Optimus has retrieved the AllSpark and made it back to the ship mere seconds before the plasma storm, and the Autobots book it out of there, though an asteroid thrown by the chaos collides with the ship. Back on the warship, Bumblebee attempts to contact Optimus, but the damage Magnus's ship sustained means though his message gets through, Optimus can't respond. The Autobots quickly realize that Unicron's plan is to destroy their home planet.

Acting on information from Bumblebee, Predaking finds evidence of Darksteel and Skylynx. He creates a signal in the form of a column of fire to attract the pair to his position, however the first to respond to it is Unicron. Megatron tricks Unicron into fighting the Predacon in the hopes that if their shared body is mangled enough, it will be of no further use to Unicron and Megatron will be freed, however Unicron manages to defeat Predaking and, probing the Predacon's mind, learns of the burial ground.

The burial ground has also been found by Starscream, Darksteel and Skylynx, who summon Shockwave to help in gathering up the bones. Their task is interrupted by the arrival of Unicron, and Starscream is overjoyed to see who he assumes is Megatron, however Unicron corrects him and bats him aside. Darksteel and Skylynx attack, but have no more luck against Unicron than anyone else has had. Opposition defeated, Unicron uses his power to raise the Predacon bones as an army of [[Terrorcon (Prime)|Terrorcons]]. Starscream flees, while Shockwave is quickly dogpiled by the horde.

The Autobots, using the warship's computer to locate Unicron, detect the huge build up of Dark Energon at the burial ground and quickly realize what Unicron intends. As the horde starts moving across [[Hydrax Plateau]] towards the [[Well of All Sparks]], the Autobots prepare to use the warship to defend the location. Ratchet and Ultra Magnus are dropped off at a safe location and Smokescreen goes to retrieve the remaining relics from storage. Starscream arrives on the ship and frees the imprisoned Deceptions. They attempt to retake the ship, however Knock Out turns against Starscream, using the phase shifter to seize the [[Immobilizer]] and clock him with it... which also destroys the Immobilizer. Ooops.

Predaking arrives at the burial ground and is horrified to see that it has been desecrated. He asserts his dominance over Skylynx and Darksteel by fighting them, however Shockwave pops up to suggest they put their combat skills to more productive use against Unicron's horde.

The Autobots make their last stand in the warship, opening fire on the oncoming Terrorcons. While the horde flies up to attack the ship, the Predacon trio arrive to lend a hand. Unfortunately the warship is shot down a short time later by concentrated Terrorcon fire blasts. The Autobots emerge, but Predaking tells them to leave the fighting to the beasts. The Predacons are only able to slow the horde's advance and the Terrorcons start heading into the Well of All Sparks. Unicron himself feels the presence of the AllSpark as Magnus's ship returns to Cybertron. Optimus jumps out to attack Unicron, who shoots down the ship down before Optimus can engage him. Even Optimus has trouble fighting Unicron, and he's only saved when Bumblebee uses the [[polarity gauntlet]] to halt Unicron's blow. Optimus flies to where Bulkhead and Arcee are helping Wheeljack out of the wreck of Magnus's ship, intending to secure the AllSpark. Unicron breaks free of the polarity gauntlet's grasp and catches up with Optimus, who is now fleeing with the AllSpark, shooting the Autobot leader down. Unicron opens the AllSpark container intending to devour the contents, only to find it is empty. Unicron's anti-spark is drawn out of Megatron by the vessel, which pulls it into itself and seals, trapping it there. The link to Unicron severed, the Terrorcon army disintegrates just before it can reach the core.

Starscream lands, having escaped his cell during the crash, and welcomes Megatron back from the dead, believing Megatron will once again lead the Decepticons. Having been put through the torments of Unicron, Megatron is broken, and no longer wishes to be an oppressor. Over Starscream's objections, he declares the Decepticons no more, and flies away, destination unknown. Starscream also flees, going instead to Darkmount where he intended to take his place as Decepticon leader. His reign is short-lived, as the Predacons arrive looking to settle some old scores with him.

At the Well of All Sparks, Optimus reveals that in order to set the trap for Unicron, he was forced to empty the AllSpark into the [[Matrix of Leadership]] inside him. This unfortunately means that his own spark is one with the multitude of others now inside the Matrix, and the only way the AllSpark can be restored to the Well is by merging it with the planet's core, which means giving up his own life. Despite protestations, Optimus assures them there is no other way, and that the age of Primes is over... and that new leaders will arise not by decree of ancient talismans, but by the virtue of their actions. Optimus flies into the Well, sacrificing himself, which releases a multitude of sparks into the sky.

*Predaking is often missing his wings when he transforms into [[beast mode]], for instance during the fight with Unicron/Megatron, Darksteel and Skylynx, and the fight against the Terrorcon Predacons. At the end of the last fight they just suddenly reappear when it ends at the Well of All Sparks.

===Continuity errors===
*Shockwave's survival is questionable, at best. Once the Terrorcon Predacon army is raised from the dead, they pile on Shockwave, who is currently in [[alternate mode|vehicle mode]]. When he shows up to convince the living Predacons to do something useful, he's now in [[robot mode]] with minimal visible damage; the worst is a missing "wing" and his cracked optic. Furthermore, he just vanishes from the plot after that. Did the Terrorcons decide he didn't taste good? Or was this a last-minute [[Hasbro]] edict to save him for later use?
*Nothing ever comes of the third Predacon clone Shockwave was in the process of growing, though it wasn't given much time to mature after being introduced.

[[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] has been restored, and [[Optimus Prime (WFC)|Optimus Prime]] gives a speech honoring those not still with them who helped make it possible. However even as he does so, back on [[Earth]] at the bottom of the ocean, [[Megatron (WFC)|Megatron]] is awoken by [[Unicron]]. Megatron is confused as to why his [[spark]] is not one with the [[AllSpark]], but Unicron explains that Megatron's [[Dark Energon]] use has made that impossible. Requiring a new vessel with which to carry out his plans, Unicron reformats Megatron's body into a more powerful form, takes possession of it and heads into the sky. Meanwhile, Optimus holds a short ceremony to promote [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]] to warrior, before announcing that he and [[Wheeljack (Prime)|Wheeljack]] are going to retrieve the physical AllSpark from where it was hidden during the [[Great War (Prime)|Great War]].

Streaking through space, Megatron believes Unicron intends to become ruler of Cybertron, but Unicron reveals that he instead intends to destroy Primus, which will spell the end for that planet, and soon all of the universe.

As [[Bulkhead (Prime)|Bulkhead]] finds construction with [[Vehicon (Prime)|Vehicons]] a troublesome task, [[Arcee (WFC)|Arcee]] reports they've had no luck finding [[Starscream (WFC)|Starscream]] and [[Shockwave (WFC)|Shockwave]]. [[Knock Out (Prime)|Knock Out]], incarcerated on the [[Trypticon (WFC)|warship]], attempts to persuade the Bumblebee he's on their side by providing him with information on where they might locate the fugitive Decepticons. [[Ultra Magnus (WFC)|Ultra Magnus]] and [[Smokescreen (Prime)|Smokescreen]] patrol the [[Rust Sea|Sea of Rust]], now restored to a city, and run into an unpleasant surprise—the [[Predacon (Prime)|Predacons]] [[Darksteel (Prime)|Darksteel]] and [[Skylynx]]. The two Autobots are no match for the new clones, and Magnus is severely injured before Smokescreen manages to use the [[phase shifter]] to make their escape. [[Ratchet (WFC)|Ratchet]] is called to Cybertron to tend to Magnus, while the other Autobots try to decide on their next step.

Across space, Optimus and Wheeljack track the AllSpark to [[Theta Scorpii]]. Not wanting to risk losing [[Ultra Magnus's ship]] in the hazardous conditions there, Optimus continues on alone.

Utilizing Bumblebee's tracking skills, the Autobots find [[Predaking (Prime)|Predaking]], who has located a Predacon burial ground uncovered by the restoration of Cybertron. Bumblebee attempts to persuade Predaking that there can be a truce, but Predaking refuses to forget the Autobots' role in the destruction of his brethren. The Autobots instead head for Megatron's old fortress of [[Darkmount (Cybertron)|Darkmount]], which Knock Out has informed them may contain a map showing the location of Shockwave's laboratories.

Shockwave's current lab is in the ruins of [[Six Lasers Over Cybertron]]. Starscream arrives with another recovered Predacon bone, shortly before Darksteel and Skylynx return, laughing about their recent scrap. Starscream is furious to learn they've wandered off and revealed themselves to the Autobots, ruining their one major advantage, the element of surprise.

Over at Theta Scorpii, Optimus finally sights the AllSpark's container, but there's also an incoming [[plasma storm]], and he has to rush to retrieve their target before it can close in.

As the Autobots are checking out the Darkmount computer, they're interrupted by the arrival of Unicron, who makes it aggressively clear to both Autobot and Megatron alike who's in control of the Decepticon leader's form. The Autobots are no match for the dark god, so they attempt to scram. They're brought to a halt by a [[Smelting pool|smelting pit]], and a blast from Unicron leaves Bulkhead, Arcee and Smokescreen dangling over certain doom. Bumblebee manages to keep Unicron occupied long enough for Ratchet to provide a means of escape via [[GroundBridge]].

Meanwhile, Optimus has retrieved the AllSpark and made it back to the ship mere seconds before the plasma storm, and the Autobots book it out of there, though an asteroid thrown by the chaos collides with the ship. Back on the warship, Bumblebee attempts to contact Optimus, but the damage Magnus's ship sustained means though his message gets through, Optimus can't respond. The Autobots quickly realize that Unicron's plan is to destroy their home planet.

Acting on information from Bumblebee, Predaking finds evidence of Darksteel and Skylynx. He creates a signal in the form of a column of fire to attract the pair to his position, however the first to respond to it is Unicron. Megatron tricks Unicron into fighting the Predacon in the hopes that if their shared body is mangled enough, it will be of no further use to Unicron and Megatron will be freed, however Unicron manages to defeat Predaking and, probing the Predacon's mind, learns of the burial ground.

The burial ground has also been found by Starscream, Darksteel and Skylynx, who summon Shockwave to help in gathering up the bones. Their task is interrupted by the arrival of Unicron, and Starscream is overjoyed to see who he assumes is Megatron, however Unicron corrects him and bats him aside. Darksteel and Skylynx attack, but have no more luck against Unicron than anyone else has had. Opposition defeated, Unicron uses his power to raise the Predacon bones as an army of [[Terrorcon (Prime)|Terrorcons]]. Starscream flees, while Shockwave is quickly dogpiled by the horde.

The Autobots, using the warship's computer to locate Unicron, detect the huge build up of Dark Energon at the burial ground and quickly realize what Unicron intends. As the horde starts moving across [[Hydrax Plateau]] towards the [[Well of All Sparks]], the Autobots prepare to use the warship to defend the location. Ratchet and Ultra Magnus are dropped off at a safe location and Smokescreen goes to retrieve the remaining relics from storage. Starscream arrives on the ship and frees the imprisoned Deceptions. They attempt to retake the ship, however Knock Out turns against Starscream, using the phase shifter to seize the [[Immobilizer]] and clock him with it... which also destroys the Immobilizer. Ooops.

Predaking arrives at the burial ground and is horrified to see that it has been desecrated. He asserts his dominance over Skylynx and Darksteel by fighting them, however Shockwave pops up to suggest they put their combat skills to more productive use against Unicron's horde.

The Autobots make their last stand in the warship, opening fire on the oncoming Terrorcons. While the horde flies up to attack the ship, the Predacon trio arrive to lend a hand. Unfortunately the warship is shot down a short time later by concentrated Terrorcon fire blasts. The Autobots emerge, but Predaking tells them to leave the fighting to the beasts. The Predacons are only able to slow the horde's advance and the Terrorcons start heading into the Well of All Sparks. Unicron himself feels the presence of the AllSpark as Magnus's ship returns to Cybertron. Optimus jumps out to attack Unicron, who shoots down the ship down before Optimus can engage him. Even Optimus has trouble fighting Unicron, and he's only saved when Bumblebee uses the [[polarity gauntlet]] to halt Unicron's blow. Optimus flies to where Bulkhead and Arcee are helping Wheeljack out of the wreck of Magnus's ship, intending to secure the AllSpark. Unicron breaks free of the polarity gauntlet's grasp and catches up with Optimus, who is now fleeing with the AllSpark, shooting the Autobot leader down. Unicron opens the AllSpark container intending to devour the contents, only to find it is empty. Unicron's anti-spark is drawn out of Megatron by the vessel, which pulls it into itself and seals, trapping it there. The link to Unicron severed, the Terrorcon army disintegrates just before it can reach the core.

Starscream lands, having escaped his cell during the crash, and welcomes Megatron back from the dead, believing Megatron will once again lead the Decepticons. Having been put through the torments of Unicron, Megatron is broken, and no longer wishes to be an oppressor. Over Starscream's objections, he declares the Decepticons no more, and flies away, destination unknown. Starscream also flees, going instead to Darkmount where he intended to take his place as Decepticon leader. His reign is short-lived, as the Predacons arrive looking to settle some old scores with him.

At the Well of All Sparks, Optimus reveals that in order to set the trap for Unicron, he was forced to empty the AllSpark into the [[Matrix of Leadership]] inside him. This unfortunately means that his own spark is one with the multitude of others now inside the Matrix, and the only way the AllSpark can be restored to the Well is by merging it with the planet's core, which means giving up his own life. Despite protestations, Optimus assures them there is no other way, and that the age of Primes is over... and that new leaders will arise not by decree of ancient talismans, but by the virtue of their actions. Optimus flies into the Well, sacrificing himself, which releases a multitude of sparks into the sky.

*Shockwave's survival is questionable, at best. Once the Terrorcon Predacon army is raised from the dead, they pile on Shockwave, who is currently in [[alternate mode|vehicle mode]]. When he shows up to convince the living Predacons to do something useful, he's now in [[robot mode]] with minimal visible damage; the worst is a missing "wing" and his cracked optic. Furthermore, he just vanishes from the plot after that. Did the Terrorcons decide he didn't taste good? Or was this a last-minute [[Hasbro]] edict to save him for later use?
*Nothing ever comes of the third Predacon clone Shockwave was in the process of growing, though it wasn't given much time to mature after being introduced.

[[Bulkhead (Prime)|Bulkhead]] recovers consciousness, and realizes he's on the ''[[Trypticon (WFC)|Nemesis]]''. Unable to contact base, he begins to explore, but while hiding from [[Vehicon (Prime)|Vehicons]], he runs into [[Starscream (WFC)|Starscream]]. Starscream is reluctant to help, and strikes at Bulkhead, so Bulkhead returns the favor by jumping on Starscream and blindly beating the ex-con to death. Guiltily justifying his actions by muttering that Starscream left him no choice, Bulkhead returns to his exploration.

Some 24 hours before, Starscream reaches the wreck of the ''[[Harbinger]]'' in his search for [[energon]]. Instead, he finds a laboratory containing five [[protoform]]s. Elsewhere, Bulkhead picks up a strong energon reading. Starscream finds information in the ''Harbinger''<nowiki>'s</nowiki> computer on cloning, and fires up the lab equipment. Soon, five [[Starscream clone (Prime)|duplicates of himself]] stand before him. Meanwhile Bulkhead, clambering into a hole he's found, realizes there's boxed energon at the bottom of it, and that the ''Nemesis'' is arriving overhead, ready to pick it up. As he struggles, he falls among the energon and, losing consciousness, is transported up to the Decepticon ship with it.

Starscream discovers that his clones are complete duplicates of himself, personality, memories, and all. The one significant difference seems to be that the clones have intact [[Transformation Cog]]s, and thus can fly. As the ''Harbinger'' is able to track where the ''Nemesis'' is, he sends his clones to eliminate [[Megatron (WFC)|Megatron]] once and for all. The five clones board the ''Nemesis'' and split up, one of them running into Bulkhead, who terminates the clone. The original Starscream is dismayed to discover that he feels the same pain his clones feel. Bulkhead locates a comm unit and attempts to use it to contact the other Autobots, only to set off an alarm and bring Vehicons running. As he escapes, the Vehicons are distracted by another Starscream clone, but unbeknownst to anyone, Bulkhead has inadvertently triggered a Decepticon beacon.

The beacon is detected by [[Airachnid (Prime)|Airachnid]], who releases her [[Insecticon (WFC)|Insecticon]] army from their [[stasis pod]]s to go terminate Megatron. The activity is detected by the Autobots, and [[Optimus Prime (WFC)|Optimus Prime]], [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]] and [[Arcee (WFC)|Arcee]] [[GroundBridge]] to the location to investigate, discovering Airachnid in the middle of sending her troops. She sets some of the Insecticons after the trio, but Arcee bursts through the explosions and begins pursuing her. Optimus and Bumblebee begin mowing down Insecticons.

Bulkhead crawls through a service duct, and spots Megatron. Megatron starts heading for the bridge in response to reports that Starscream's there.

Arcee continues her pursuit of Airachnid, despite having to contend with two Insecticons. After the Insecticons are taken out, Airachnid disappears underground, and Arcee follows.

On the ''Nemesis'' bridge, Megatron finds himself face-to-faces with the four remaining Starscream clones. He offers to make them all [[second-in-command]] if they terminate Starscream for him, but the clones are stable enough to keep to the mission. Before they can open fire, the ship is attacked by Insecticons. The distraction is all Megatron needs, and he starts taking out clones. The last of the clones manages to escape as the Insecticon attack intensifies, and Megatron finally checks on what's going on outside.

Optimus and Bumblebee finish off the last of the Insecticons that were attacking them, and start looking for Arcee. Their comrade is currently deep underground hunting Airachnid. Arcee exchanges fire with her foe, and manages to manoeuvre Airachnid onto one of the open stasis pods, which promptly closes and puts the rogue Decepticon on ice. The Insecticons attacking the ''Nemesis'' all immediately stop their attack, drop on to the ship's hull, and proclaim their loyalty to a bemused Megatron.

Within the ''Nemesis'', Bulkhead finds the ship's power core, and severely damages it with his mace, causing it to explode. The ship slowly begins its descent. As he runs to the exit, Bulkhead encounters the Starscream clone, who promptly takes off. Bulkhead is puzzled at the fact that Starscream is alive and can transform. Once the ''Nemesis'' has crashed to earth, Bulkhead is able to drive off and speed away. He soon reaches base, where the Autobots are inspecting the stasis-locked Airachnid.

The last Starscream clone returns to the ''Harbinger'' and lets the original Starscream know the mission failed. He's about to shoot his progenitor, when Starscream turns and blasts him, complaining about the shared pain he experiences as he finally terminates him.

Though Bumblebee tries to encourage Smokescreen to slow down, the rookie breaks the speed limit and almost runs into another vehicle. The driver jumps out to threaten Smokescreen, who promptly [[transformation|transforms]] and threatens him back. Bumblebee transforms to stop Smokescreen and the truck driver takes the opportunity to snap a picture of the pair. Back at base, [[Jack Darby (Prime)|Jack]] locates the picture on the [[Internet]] and says [[Raf Esquivel|Raf]] can deal with it later. The other [[Autobot]]s lecture Smokescreen about the concept of secrecy and [[Optimus Prime (WFC)|Optimus Prime]] says they need to help Smokescreen acclimate to [[Earth]] through learning about [[human]] society. Jack is duly assigned to help Smokescreen and the pair head out, though [[Arcee (WFC)|Arcee]] complains that she thinks Jack will be at risk because Smokescreen has the most obvious [[alternate mode]] ever.

Driving through [[Jasper]], Jack tries to educate Smokescreen on traffic lights, though Smokescreen is unable to stop joking around. When [[Vince]] hauls up beside them, Jack attempts to be inconspicuous, but Vince notices anyway and throws a burger at them. Smokescreen soon talks Jack into some retribution, and when they arrive back at base laughing, Jack has a photo of Vince's burger-covered car. Arcee isn't impressed with their progress so far.

On the ''[[Trypticon (WFC)|Nemesis]]'', [[Soundwave (WFC)|Soundwave]] has finished decoding another set of coordinates from the Iacon database. [[Megatron (WFC)|Megatron]] gets a decoy ready. Thus when Optimus is also almost finished decoding the same coordinates, the base sensors pick up an Iacon locator beacon in [[China]]. Optimus takes Arcee, Bumblebee and [[Bulkhead (Prime)|Bulkhead]] to investigate. Meanwhile, Megatron has [[Insecticon (WFC)|Insecticons]] and [[Vehicon (Prime)|Vehicons]] busy excavating the real relic. Hoping it is of Decepticon origin, Megatron is shocked to see it is the [[Star Saber (Prima)|Star Saber]]. Desperate to keep it from Optimus, Megatron tries to pull it free, but his efforts are to no avail and it remains firmly entrenched in the rock. Even trying to destroy the rock fails, as the sword's energy is rendering it invulnerable. Realizing that it will only respond to a [[Prime (rank)|Prime]], Megatron intends to uproot the entire mountain if necessary.

[[Ratchet (WFC)|Ratchet]] picks up the signal from the Saber, but is unable to contact Prime. Prime's team is trying to track the first signal, unaware that it's the decoy being carried around by Soundwave. Smokescreen and Jack arrive back at base having pulled a prank on Jack's boss. When Ratchet reports the situation, Smokescreen volunteers to check out the second signal, and takes Jack along with him in secret. They find the Decepticons trying break the mountain down to a smaller size, and Smokescreen recognizes the Star Saber. Despite Jack's concerns, knowing that something is up if Megatron hasn't pulled the sword out, Smokescreen charges in as the Decepticons are preparing to lift the remaining rock with the ''Nemesis''. The Autobot proves as successful in extracting the sword as Megatron was, and is promptly captured by the Decepticons. While Jack tries to notify Ratchet, he is soon found and pursued by Insecticons. Ratchet gets enough from Jack's message to know what they've found and they're in serious trouble, and [[GroundBridge]]s to Optimus's location just as the team there are realizing they were being led on a wild goose chase.

As the ''Nemesis'' starts lifting the massive rock holding the Star Saber, Megatron begins interrogating Smokescreen with little effect. Prime's team suddenly arrives and starts laying into the Decepticons troops. Megatron looks around for Optimus himself, and spots the Autobot leader rapidly scaling the mountain in pursuit of the Star Saber, so he and some jet Vehicons take off to try to intercept. The other Autobots finish off the rest of the Decepticon troopers and Arcee rescues Jack from the Insecticons. Despite the best efforts of Megatron and his troops, Optimus manages to grab hold of the Star Saber which activates and pulls free of the rock. Megatron orders the rock dropped on him, but even as the other Autobots shout warnings, Prime merely uses the Star Saber to slice the whole thing in half. In shock, Megatron helplessly looks on as Prime follows up by taking a swing, unleashing a wave of energy at the ''Nemesis'', destroying part of its engine array and nearly causing the ship to crash into the mountainside. The Decepticons hastily retreat as their leader laments over his failure and believes it is now their darkest hour.

The Autobots return to base, where Arcee is very unhappy with Smokescreen and Jack. She has Ratchet send the latter home and Optimus makes plain to the former that endangering humans is forbidden. As he reminds them of the importance of protecting humans, the sword begins to glow on its own, and Optimus goes into a trance-like state. Stating that he's receiving a message, Prime identifies the caller: [[Alpha Trion (WFC)|Alpha Trion]].

[[Dreadwing (Prime)|Dreadwing]] volunteers to counterattack the [[Autobot]]s, but [[Megatron (WFC)|Megatron]] points out that with the power of the [[Star Saber (Prima)|Star Saber]] in the hands of [[Optimus Prime (WFC)|Optimus Prime]], the [[Decepticon]]s will not stand a chance against him and must find a means of meeting that power. As the Seeker mentions the [[Forge of Solus Prime]], Megatron counters that it will only work for a Prime, but then comes up with an idea.

Optimus telepathically communicates with [[Alpha Trion (WFC)|Alpha Trion]], or rather a recorded message from same, through the Star Saber. Alpha Trion tells Prime that through the [[Covenant of Primus]], he foresaw the battle against the Decepticons on [[Earth]] and intentionally transported the Iacon relics there for use by the [[Autobot]]s. He furthermore informs Prime of the most important of the relics: the [[Omega Key]]s which hold the power to restore [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]]. After Optimus comes out of his trance, he tells the other Autobots about their new mission to retrieve the keys.

The ''[[Trypticon (WFC)|Nemesis]]'' reaches Earth's [[Moon (moon)|Moon]], beyond which is the Decepticon [[space bridge]], hidden there after the Autobots discovered its previous location on Earth. Megatron and Dreadwing head through it to Cybertron.

The Autobots are overjoyed at the fact they're going to be able to go back to their homeworld and truly restore it, but quickly realize they will have to leave their [[human]] friends behind. [[Smokescreen (Prime)|Smokescreen]] wonders if the keys can really restore Cybertron, and Optimus assures him that the [[Ancient]]s possessed knowledge beyond current sciences and so starts decoding the last four coordinates.

On Cybertron, Megatron and Dreadwing break into a sealed [[Liege Maximo's tomb|tomb]] which contains the lifeless shell of a Prime. Though Dreadwing does not like the place, as it reminds him of his lost twin, Megatron has him crack open the coffin and "respectfully" takes what he needs.

[[Arcee (WFC)|Arcee]], [[Bulkhead (Prime)|Bulkhead]] and [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]] ponder if they really want to go back to Cybertron if it means leaving their friends on Earth, with Bulkhead wondering if he can do anything other than fight. [[Ratchet (WFC)|Ratchet]] suggests he go back to construction as the cities will still be in ruin. Arcee reminds everyone that they still need to locate the four Omega Keys first before leaving Earth.

Having returned to the ''Nemesis'', Megatron directs [[Knock Out (Prime)|Knock Out]] to attach his new arm. Though the doctor suggests inducing [[stasis lock]] for the procedure, Megatron refuses and insists he witness the transplant.

Optimus finishes decoding the first Omega Key coordinates. Smokescreen immediately volunteers to go look and Arcee joins him to keep an eye on him. They arrive in [[Egypt]] and start tracking down the relic. As they search, Smokescreen attempts to apologise again for endangering [[Jack Darby (Prime)|Jack]], but Arcee rebuffs him by saying that she does not want to lose a '''third''' partner.

Megatron tests his new appendage on the Forge and is elated to see it react to his touch. He starts using the Forge to pound out a new weapon from a chunk of [[Dark Energon]]. He is interrupted by [[Soundwave (WFC)|Soundwave]], who has decoded more Iacon coordinates.

Arcee and Smokescreen follow the signal through underground ruins until they pull aside a stone and find the Omega Key they're after. They're soon back in the open air, only to find Megatron waiting for them with a shiny new sword. He sends them flying with an energy wave and when Smokescreen tries to charge at him, the Autobot is sent flying into the side of a pyramid. Megatron spares Arcee so she can tell Optimus to come get the Omega Key personally. Returning to base, Arcee reports Smokescreen's death and the other Autobots are ready to exact revenge. Optimus insists on going alone with the Star Saber. When he arrives, he's shocked to see Megatron has a new arm and a [[Dark Star Saber]]. The pair use their swords to send energy waves at each other but each manages to dodge or dispel the energy waves. They move in to close combat but it doesn't take long before Megatron's sword smashes right through the Star Saber. Megatron's about to make the killing blow when Smokescreen speaks up, having grabbed the Omega Key while Megatron was occupied. Optimus takes advantage of Megatron's distraction to renew his assault on the Decepticon leader, but after a short struggle, Megatron throws him off and flings a wave of energy. The energy wave passes right through Prime and Smokescreen, who disappear through the [[GroundBridge]].

Back at base, Smokescreen reveals that he borrowed the [[phase shifter]] again, and that's how he escaped destruction. Ratchet says Smokescreen can keep the device, but Smokescreen's joy is short-lived as they contemplate the destroyed Star Saber. Optimus, however, is right back at work decoding coordinates.

Knock Out scans the [[Autobot]], and finds the last relic is hidden inside.

The other Autobots, meanwhile, realize that the Decepticons must have decoded the last coordinates and speculate that Smokescreen holds the [[Omega Key]] inside him, largely due to being installed within him while unconscious by [[Alpha Trion (WFC)|Alpha Trion]].

Knock Out advances on the alarmed Smokescreen with a rotary saw, only to reveal he's actually going to use the [[phase shifter]] to do the operation. He reaches inside Smokescreen and soon has the Omega Key in hand. Smokescreen refuses to tell the Decepticons what the Omega Keys are, but Megatron has ways of finding out.

[[Starscream (WFC)|Starscream]] ruminates on the one Omega Key he possesses, while talking to his [[Starscream clone (Prime)|dead clone]]. Imagining himself in charge of a reborn [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]], he quickly realizes that he doesn't have the resources he would need to rule it.

Megatron listens in on Prime's briefing about the Omega Keys, thanks to a [[cortical psychic patch]] hooked up to Smokescreen. Once they've learned all they need, Knock Out unplugs the pair and Megatron orders Knock Out to use the patch to find the location of the [[Autobot Outpost Omega One|Autobot base]] so they can retrieve the other Omega Keys. After Megatron leaves to put their new key in a safe place, Knock Out moves in, only for Smokescreen to grab the phase shifter attached to his wrist and uses it to free himself. The pair grapple until Smokescreen manages to pull the device from his opponent's wrist, leaving Knock Out embedded in a bulkhead. Though Knock Out points out Smokescreen has no means of escape from the ship, Smokescreen has plans of his own. Through use of the phase shifter, he manages to catch up with Megatron near the storage area, where he snatches back the Omega Key and takes the one in storage as well. The Decepticons attempt to stop him, but their firepower passes straight through him. He eventually reaches the outer hull, only to be confronted by Megatron. With no other choice, the Autobot bails the ship.

At the Autobot base, [[Ratchet (WFC)|Ratchet]] picks up Smokescreen's signal, but has trouble locking on due to the fact that Smokescreen is plummeting through the air. Harried by [[Vehicon (Prime)|Vehicons]], Smokescreen drops towards the [[GroundBridge]] Ratchet opens, only to be knocked off-course by Megatron. He uses the phase shifter to pass through the ground. Moments later, Megatron lands and demands his subordinates search the wreckage. Smokescreen bridges back to base, where the Autobots congratulate him, but wonder where the fourth key is. Their query is answered a moment later when they get a message from Starscream offering the key in return for the replacement of his [[transformation cog|T-Cog]]. Having considered it, [[Optimus Prime (WFC)|Optimus Prime]] decides it's too important to not take Starscream up on his offer.

Optimus, Ratchet and [[Bulkhead (Prime)|Bulkhead]] bridge to a forested location and approach Starscream, only to find him apparently dead. It is, of course, just the dead clone, as the real Starscream uses his [[Red Energon]] to nip through the GroundBridge into the Autobot base. Moving too fast to be seen, he is tempted at first to finish off the slow-moving Autobots, but goes back to finding the Omega Keys first. The Autobots in the field realize they've been deceived just as Starscream blows open the vault holding the keys. Though Optimus orders [[Arcee (WFC)|Arcee]] to close the GroundBridge, it is too slow to prevent Starscream from escaping the base. He stops to mock Optimus, Ratchet and Bulkhead, only for the Red Energon to wear off right at the worst possible moment. After firing a missile at the Autobots, he frantically opens his own GroundBridge and escapes back to the ''[[Harbinger]]'', much to Optimus's despair. Though Bulkhead and Ratchet believe they can get the keys back Optimus grimly announces the fate of Cybertron is now in Starscream's hands.

[[Raf Esquivel|Raf]] picks up a signal from [[Scotland]] and [[GroundBridge]]s [[Wheeljack (Prime)|Wheeljack]] back to the [[Hangar E|Autobot base]]. [[Arcee (WFC)|Arcee]] asks why he's returned alone, and Wheeljack disdainfully notes that the mission was a failure, and that the rest of his team will be returning via [[Ultra Magnus's ship]]. [[William Fowler|Fowler]] emerges from his office with reports of [[Decepticon]] activity in [[New Mexico]]. With [[Optimus Prime (WFC)|Optimus Prime's]] team still in [[Texas]] and the rest of the [[Wrecker]]s still en route, that leaves Arcee and Wheeljack to continue the hunt for [[Predacon (Prime)|Predacon]] remains. They bridge to Fowler's coordinates and end up right in the middle of a squadron of [[Vehicon (Prime)|Vehicon]]s. The two Autobots take them out quickly, impressing one another with their skills.

[[June Darby|June]] arrives at the [[Hangar E|Autobot base]] to pick up medical supplies being donated by Fowler, who asks her to call him "William". Raf announces that he's discovered a Predacon talon in a museum, kept in storage because scientists didn't know how to classify it. Fowler volunteers to retrieve the fossil, and invites June to accompany him. She's reluctant at first, but is angered by the hypocrisy in [[Jack Darby (Prime)|Jack]] forbidding her from endangering herself, and agrees to go.

On the outer hull of the ''[[Trypticon (WFC)|Nemesis]]'', [[Megatron (WFC)|Megatron]] praises his [[Predaking (Prime)|new pet]] for successfully retrieving the fossil from Scotland. [[Knock Out (Prime)|Knock Out]] reports the discovery of another Predacon energy signature, and Megatron orders him to acquire it. [[Starscream (WFC)|Starscream]] arrives to mock Knock Out, but Megatron halts their bickering by telling Starscream to take Knock Out's place on monitor duty. As Megatron and Knock Out return inside the ship, a frustrated Starscream kicks the Predacon's tail. The beast responds with a vicious tail swipe that narrowly misses Starscream and wrecks the ship's communications array.

In a cave in New Mexico, Arcee inquires as to Wheeljack's foul mood. Wheeljack tries to brush off her questions, but Arcee persists, claiming that she knows Wheeljack only pretends to prefer working solo.

Fowler and June emerge from the museum with the Predacon talon in tow, joking about the experience and comparing past relationships. Their bonding is interrupted by the arrival of Knock Out, who renders them unconscious with a beam of light. They awake in the [[Decepticon]]'s trunk moments before he speeds off into the desert, leaving June's cell phone crushed on the ground. Knock Out attempts to request a GroundBridge, but is unable to make contact with the base.

On the ''Nemesis'', Starscream rants about the Predacon disabling their communications network while a couple of Vehicons attempt to repair it. Starscream enters an override code into a nearby computer console to reboot the system, but this only produces a shower of sparks.

Jack is worrying about how long his mother is taking when he receives a call from [[Miko Nakadai (Prime)|Miko]]. She says that [[Bulkhead (Prime)|Bulkhead]] is worried about Wheeljack, and Jack explains that he's on a mission with Arcee. Miko is annoyed that Wheeljack would replace Bulkhead so quickly, but also admits that she expected the two lone wolves to hook up.

June and Fowler bicker within Knock Out's trunk until the Decepticon tells them to stifle themselves. He continues to attempt communication with the ''Nemesis'', and June and Fowler begin devising an escape plan.

While digging in the cave walls, Wheeljack reveals to Arcee that Bulkhead, not [[Ultra Magnus (WFC)|Ultra Magnus]], is the source of his current frustration. He feels his onetime partner has gone soft. Arcee tells him that people change and he has to either adapt or rust. She knows [[Tailgate (Prime)|from]] [[Cliffjumper (WFC)|experience]] the pain of losing a partner.

Fowler emerges from Knock Out's trunk and into his vehicle interior, forcing the startled Decepticon to stop at a railroad yard by twisting his steering wheel and slamming on the break. June races from the car with the Predacon talon and Fowler flees in the opposite direction. Knock Out transforms and quickly finds Fowler hiding amongst the freight cars. He grabs Fowler and threatens to kill him if June doesn't reveal herself and the talon.

Jack tries calling his mother and Fowler, but both of their phones go straight to voicemail. Raf innocently suggests they went to a movie.

As he lugs a Predacon spine out of the cave, Wheeljack admits that he was wrong to abandon Bulkhead like he did. Arcee receives a distress call from Jack, who is now in the museum parking lot holding his mother's crushed phone and watching a set of tire tracks lead into the desert.

At the train yard, Knock Out notices a railcar pull away, revealing a defiant June. She tells Knock Out that she hid the fossil in one of the cars, and will only tell him which after he's let Fowler go. Knock Out realizes the fossil is most likely on the departing train car, grabs June, and heads after it.

On the ''Nemesis'', a furious Megatron discovers that communications have been down for hours. No sooner does [[Soundwave (WFC)|Soundwave]] get the network back online than Knock Out calls again, reporting that he has the Predacon bone in his sights and Wheeljack and Arcee on his tail.

A squad of [[Insecticon (WFC)|Insecticons]] are GroundBridged to Knock Out's location and open fire on the pursuing Autobots. Wheeljack and Arcee fight back but continue to move forward. Knock Out reaches the freight car where the bone is hidden and launches himself into the air, transforming to robot mode as he does and letting June and Fowler drop. Below, Wheeljack transforms into robot mode, catches them, and transforms back into vehicle mode with the humans inside. Knock Out snatches the fossil and makes it through the Decepticon GroundBridge before Arcee can catch him.

At the Autobot base, Jack is relieved to see his mother, but less excited that she's taken to calling Fowler "Bill". Miko teases that Jack has also lost his Autobot partner to Wheeljack. But Wheeljack and Bulkhead quickly make up, much to Miko and Jack's delight.

Back at the ''Nemesis'', Megatron congratulates Knock Out and chastises Starscream. While Starscream again blames the Predacon's bestial stupidity, the so-called beast is busy entering Starscream's access code into the computer console from earlier, calling up the ship's information on Predacons.
