I don't really care if this ends up in the article or not, but a professionally licensed psychologist has diagnosed Chase with autism. This man literally autismed so hard he saved the day in episode 16, so I don't doubt it for a second.
So I'm not out of line, right? Those two critters did look like Bomb-Burst and Submarauder to other folks too, didn't they?
:Yeah, they did. Though in my opinion such sightings of obscure references should be backed up with screen captures for posterity. --FFN 18:29, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
:::Man. Note the little clawlike things near Bomb-Burst's kidneys, not to mention the red chest. And Submarauder's got those round barnacle whatevers on his chest. It really is a deliberate thing. That's GREAT. Chip 01:54, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
::I'm pretty sure he means 'Lefty' as in 'The guy with the big left arm but crappy little claw dealie six sizes too small for him on his right'.--Kendrakirai 12:58, 9 March 2008 (UTC)₩
:::I thought it was the viewer's left at first, which would make it the shark-mutant, but since Fanzone calls dibs on the lawyer and attacks the bat-mutant, I figure Meltdown must be referring to his own left. ==Fanzone overhearing?==
About this point: How the heck do Prowl and Bulkhead speak quietly enough to avoid Ratchet and Prime overhearing, yet loudly enough for Fanzone to hear them?

It looked to me like Fanzone didn't hear them. He just noticing them whispering to each other and figured it was something worth following up on. --KilMichaelMcC 02:04, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

It doesn't have to be an error - it's stated like an answer, and since they were the only actual antagonists, it may be that Sumdac just asked something like "Did you get the people who kidnapped my daughter?"
The monsters were just mindless minions, so presumably they wouldn't be talked about like that. At least, it might be a way to explain what he said.KrytenKoro 01:33, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Swoop's Acid Burns
The more I think about this the creepier it gets. Plot point, Swoop has acid burns on his legs, everybody knows that. But has anybody stopped to think about how those acid burns are located on the inside of his legs? A ranged attack couldn't possibly have made those burns, as the only angle that would've gotten the insides of the legs and not the outside would've also gotten his crotch at the very least, and probably also his claws. So, for the burns to be located there and take on the shape and size that they do, Meltdown would've had to get close and actually touch Swoop. But why the insides of the legs?? Did Swoop pick up Meltdown at one point for him to reach up and grab him? That wouldn't be logical, as Meltdown would only need to touch one spot to burn Swoop and force him to drop him, which doesn't add up with the size and shape of the burns, and the fact that they're on BOTH legs. And besides, in this situation, why not the claws? They'd be much closer and easier to touch, and heck, depending on how lenient you want to be with the suit, Meltdown probably would've seared Swoop's claws anyways with his shoulders. So, Meltdown didn't get picked up. So why not absolutely any body part but the insides of his legs? The head! The chest! Don't want to risk him going offline? The wings! Don't want to risk losing flight? The back! Hell, why didn't Meltdown go for the back? It's a much bigger and much easier target to hit, is the safest option to burn, and wouldn't have needed the weird precision Meltdown apparently gave to get close and give Swoop burns on the insides of his legs. And if it absolutely HAD to be his legs, why not the outside of his legs? What kind of freak is Meltdown to go out of his way to burn the insides of Swoop's legs???

And all this is going without mentioning that 1. Grimlock and Snarl were never shown with acid burns, 2. Swoop was the one to do the work and kidnap Sari, and 3. Swoop was the first to finish transforming and pull out his weapon when given the chance to beat Meltdown to a pulp.

Am I over-analyzing a 10 second visual put in a kids cartoon that the animators didn't think twice about? Absolutely, please ignore me. --Lunarduo (talk) 12:43, 3 January 2026 (EST)
