Leftfield is an Electronica group from the United Kingdom, composed primarily of Neil Barnes and Paul Daley. Formed in London, England in 1989, they were brought to the attention of Transformers fans ten years later, when in 1999 their track "Phat Planet", from the album Rhythm and Stealth, was used as the theme song for the Beast Machines cartoon.

Leftfield has a catalog of music that includes three studio albums and several singles, many of which reached the Top 40 on the UK Singles Chart. Alternative Light Source - the first Leftfield album not to feature Daley - was released in 2015.
