My question is this: How the heck is that a stretch? It notes what was clearly the writer's intention in casting the episode and explains the choice of a character who would seemingly be the odd man out.

I don't do a lot of editing on here, and I genuinely try to do so only when I feel I'm adding something or improving something in accordance with the standards as I understand them, but I've had several edits reverted recently that I had put a good amount of thought into, and the justifications for those reversions have been uniformly unsatisfying and very poorly explained. {{unsigned|Tjfosko}}

And unless you have an interview with the writer saying as much, you can't say it was clearly their intention; it was more likely as simple as them being told "here's the toy(s) we want to promote this week, write a story about them". This just feels like adding a note for the sake of adding a note on an overly crowded page. (I personally think a lot of the existing notes don't serve to add much either, so it's not just a you thing.) ::So, you don't think the writer of the episode picked specifically four glory-hounds to crash a movie studio hoping for stardom, but that he instead got a note saying, "We want you to sell Hoist, Tracks, Sunstreaker, Powerglide, and Warpath this week"? Look at Earl Kress's episode credits. "The Immobilizer" is practically the only episode dealing with Ironhide's age (besides a few minor asides) and actually features a rare instance of Trailbreaker being a jokester. "B.O.T.," for all its flaws, plays up Swindle better than any other episode. "Desertion of the Dinobots" doesn't have the same degree of focus, but the episodes he wrote tend to be very strong in their depictions of characters. Even if your scenario of "promote these toys this week" is accurate (which I don't think it is, as the production materials that I've seen make it seem like Hasbro gave broad strokes with the exception of a few instances of "don't use this guy because we aren't releasing him" (Reflector) or "shove this in somewhere because it's a new toy" (Protectobots)), that only makes the cast more noteworthy, as it's an incredibly convenient accident. It seems way, way more likely that the writers, with the exception of the more mercenary jobs like "The Search for Vector Sigma," were given a box of toys and told, "these are your available characters, choose as you wish."

And as I said before, there's no reason for us to document what happens when the ride breaks because it's not standard procedure, and not everyone is going to have the same experience during a malfunction, so it's impossible to log every possible result. Hey, not sure if you are the right person to ask, but over a year ago, I don’t quite recall when, I was (rightfully) banned from the Discord server for my immature and attention seeking behaviour, truthfully I am glad I was banned sooner than later since at that time I probably would’ve gotten myself banned for something much worst,

The hulking Decepticon '''Ped''' would be a loyal and effective foot soldier in the Decepticon army... if not for his crippling inferiority complex. Seen as figuratively and literally beneath other Decepticons, Ped stews in his resentment and makes plans to finally come out on top one day. Luckily for his enemies, Ped isn't terribly bright, and is easily goaded.

It's not that he doesn't have some skills. There are few who can tunnel through the ground as fast and efficiently as Ped, a skill he uses to conduct sneak attacks and avoid direct conflict. If he really ''needs'' to fight, he can sting foes with his mandibles, or simply smash them apart with his claws. But up-close combat isn't really his thing, so he sticks with keeping his foes disoriented, or at least at the bottom of a deep pit, so he can work uninterrupted and escape easily.

He set up a network of tunnels and begun scrounging [[energon cube]]s scattered by the ship's crash, hoping to monopolize the precious resource so that he could negotiate with other Decepticons. He eventually attacked a [[human]] construction site to recover an energon cube. Not long afterwards, he raided [[Denny Clay]]'s scrapyard and stole most of their stockpiled energon. [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]] and his team - along with [[Jazz (WFC)|Jazz]]- travelled into the tunnels to recover their energon. Bumblebee and [[Strongarm (RID)|Strongarm]] encountered him digging, and realized that his constant tunneling had undermined part of [[Crown City]]. Ped escaped after he realized that [[Sideswipe (RID)|Sideswipe]] and [[Jazz (WFC)|Jazz]] had found his Energon stash. Ped attacked Sideswipe and disabled him; Jazz's sonic weapons collapsed the tunnel, and Ped escaped with the energon in the confusion.

The Autobots later set up a trap to lure Ped aboveground and recapture him. However, they did not allow for the possibility that Ped would attack Denny and [[Russell Clay]] instead of beelining for the energon, and Ped incapacitated the other Autobots by dropping them into a sinkhole. Sideswipe managed to escape the pit and goaded Ped into attacking him. He was joined by Jazz, and together the two managed to bait the enraged Decepticon back into his stasis pod, at which point Denny dropped an electromagnet on his head. {{storylink|Can You Dig It?}}

Bisk then crashed the concert proper to steal another soundboard, although the director mistook him for a human in an elaborate costume. Before he could storm the audience, he was attacked by Bumblebee, and they both tumbled onto the stage right in the middle of one of Rear Axle's songs. The two fought as the band rocked out; the humans at the concert thought that the fight was just a choreographed part of the show. With his Mini-Cons out of commission, Bisk tried to take on Bumblebee solo, but the Autobot managed to gain the upper hand, throwing Bisk into a wall of speakers. He eventually encountered [[Sideswipe (RID)|Sideswipe]], and after a brief chase he tangled with the rest of [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]]'s team. After spying a nearby scrapyard through the trees, he headed off to devour that instead. {{storylink|Pilot (Part 1)}} Despite tussling with [[Grimlock (RID 2015)|Grimlock]], Underbite began chowing down on the contents of the scrapyard, only to spot a bigger prize—nearby [[Crown City]]. After Clampdown fled due to [[Thunderhoof (RID)|Thunderhoof]] threatening him, the other Decepticons tracked him to a garbage tip where they encountered the Autobots. Underbite took part in an attempt to free the prisoners in the Autobots' scrapyard. After Steeljaw trapped the Autobots outside using subsonics, Underbite was given the task of guarding the prisoners, only for them to escape while he was eying up some nearby scrap as potential food. Once the Autobots regained access to the scrapyard, Underbite was swiftly taken down by [[Strongarm (RID)|Strongarm]] and later fled back to base with the rest of Steeljaw's gang. {{storylink|Lockout}}

Out collecting parts for the device Steeljaw's [[The Fallen|mysterious friend]] wanted them to build, Underbite and Thunderhoof happened across Sideswipe and Strongarm, promptly capturing the pair with Fracture's help. When [[Windblade (RID)|Windblade]] flew over the steel mill hideout, Underbite was able to bring her down with a precisely thrown beam, adding her to their collection of hostages. The Decepticons were soon busy at work constructing the gateway Steeljaw's ally required, however when Bumbblebee and Drift arrived, Steeljaw assigned Underbite and Thunderhoof to intercept them. Underbite swiftly dealt with Drift, allowing Megatronus to arrive on Earth. He and the other Decepticons were rendered unconscious when [[Optimus Prime (WFC)|Optimus Prime]] tried to interfere with the arrival. {{storylink|Battlegrounds, Part 1}} They came around in time to prevent the Autobots getting hold of Megatronus's staff, however when Megatronus turned on Steeljaw, Underbite, Thunderhoof and Clampdown attempted to flee. Underbite did his best to keep Bumblebee busy, but was knocked out by his opponent. After Steeljaw set the plant to meltdown, Bumblebee and Strongarm had to carry Underbite's unconscious body clear.
