==Synopsis==
[[Blurr (Prime)|Blurr]] races around the model racetrack in the [[Rescue Bot Training Center|training center]], narrating his own imaginary race, however he's stopped short of the finishing line by [[Heatwave (RB)|Heatwave]], who tells him there's an emergency and only he and Blurr are available to respond. The pair head to the [[GroundBridge]], though over-excited Blurr speeds through. They head to coordinates provided by [[Cody Burns|Cody]] and find [[Kade Burns|Kade]] standing surrounded by green sludge. Blurr charges in, skids in the substance and ends up showering Kade with it. Fortunately it's just [[Ezra Greene|Doc Greene]]'s self-replicating cake frosting, as Heatwave reveals the whole thing was a training exercise. Blurr is upset that the others still think he needs training, and takes off when Heatwave suggests they review his performance.

Racing through town, he almost takes out [[Neederlander|Mrs Neederlander]], but while he's sitting there feeling sorry for himself, he suddenly notices Cybertronian graffiti on a nearby billboard. It doesn't take long to find the culprit, a [[Cyclone]] [[Mini-Con]] which Blurr assumes is another test. He takes off in pursuit and calls it in to Cody, who alerts the rest of the team. The others converge in the park, where the human team members start setting up a perimeter to keep the townsfolk out. The Bots attempt to grab the Mini-Con, but it proves too tricky for them to catch, even when they temporarily corner it in a pipe. Meanwhile [[Jerry (RB)|Jerry]] accidentally breaks through the perimeter and his cargo of gas canisters spills. Moments later the Mini-Con crashes into his truck and the street is littered with leaking canisters of nitrous oxide, which result in some laughing humans and some confused Bots. [[Boulder]] buries the canisters.

Meanwhile Blurr chases the Mini-Con into the countryside, where he's suddenly joined by a red sports car. His annoyance at having to deal with a civilian turns to surprise when the sports car turns out to be an [[Autobot]]. [[Sideswipe (RID)|Sideswipe]]'s attempt to catch [[Bounce]] halts when he spots Blurr and assumes the other Bot is a [[Decepticon]] and attacks. While Bounce escapes, Blurr tries frantically to explain he's an Autobot, but it's only when the rest of the team arrives that Sideswipe stands down. He makes a valiant attempt to mimic a robot when he spots the humans, but they soon explain that they already know about Cybertronians. After introductions are made, they return to the fire house where Sideswipe explains how Bounce escaped into the GroundBridge and Sideswipe pursued him to [[Griffin Rock]]. Blurr asks for some tips to help in rescues, but Sideswipe isn't interested in the rescue side of things, though he promises to recommend Blurr to join Bumblebee's team. [[Graham Burns|Graham]] shows off the electromagnetic trap they have for use on [[Trex]] which might work on the Mini-Con.

Blurr and Sideswipe are assigned to drive Bounce towards the park so the trap can be sprung. Cruising the streets, they soon spot the Mini-Con and give chase, however he's too quick for them. An attempt to grab Bounce goes awry, and Blurr almost runs into some humans at a cafe. After Bounce disappears into the sewers, Blurr decides they need to use their smarts instead of their speed. The pair return to the fire house where he pulls out some energize equipment, and they enlist Cody and [[Servo (RB)|Servo]] to go in and flush Bounce out, though Cody is unhappy that Blurr's thinking of leaving. The ploy works, however Bounce's antics endanger humans as he recklessly speeds along the roads. Blurr automatically jumps in to help, while Sideswipe continues chasing Bounce. He drives the Mini-Con to where the rest of the team are waiting with the trap, and with some deft work with their energize tools, Bounce is safely ensconced in an electromagnetic field. Blurr is unhappy that he didn't catch Bounce, believing he messed up again, but the others point out that he just saved two humans without thinking twice. He ultimately decides to stick with being a Rescue Bot, and Sideswipe heads off with the Mini-Con captive.

They're actually there to find ''why'' the trees have been falling down, though Boulder's attention is caught by some strange flowers. They hear the sound of a chainsaw and find [[Milo]] sawing at a tree, but as it turns out, he's just carving sculptures out of already-fallen trees. Cody spots more of the flowers, but as he goes to pick them, a tree starts to fall. Luckily Boulder manages to catch it before it flattens the boy. They take samples of both tree bark and the flowers back to the fire house.

[[Graham Burns|Graham]] sets about trying to identify the flower, while [[Kade Burns|Kade]] attempts to write a story as part of his application for a web seminar, though he isn't having much luck. Graham comes up blank on the flower, but Cody finds it in ''[[Griffin Rock Tales and Legends]]'', a book which identifies the species as the "Northern Red Fairy Bell", which is supposedly used by [[fairy|fairies]]. [[Blades (RB)|Blades]] asks if this is a real thing, but the others tell him it's merely a fable. Chase relates a Cybertronian fable which ends with the characters being eaten by giant space monsters — as it turns out most Cybertronian fables end that way. Dani gets a call from [[Taylor]] who has accidentally locked himself in the old reservoir tower, and heads off with Blades to help. Meanwhile Graham has determined that the trees are falling over because they're being killed by disease. While they're discussing going to take a look, Cody gets a call from [[Frankie Greene|Frankie]] who invites him to help make a delivery to [[Neederlander|Mrs Neederlander]]. As it's dangerous for Cody to go alone, [[Heatwave (RB)|Heatwave]] and Kade are volunteered to go too.

The three groups head into the woods, but Frankie's group find Mrs Neederlander's cabin deserted. They find animal tracks leading away as well as footprints, and start following. They soon find more of the Fairy Bells, and then realize they've lost their way. Frankie reveals she's been making a trail of crackers, however the birds have been eating them. Meanwhile Blades discovers things are rocky between Dani and Taylor. They find Taylor himself, though Dani refuses to talk to him, and Blades helps him down from the tower. When Taylor says he wanted to take some pictures before leaving the island, Dani does not react well. Chief, Chase, Boulder and Graham aren't having luck finding the fallen trees, and Boulder theorizes that fairies are behind it. They find themselves swiftly getting lost.

Frankie's group hear cat noises and head into a cave where they find Mrs Neederlander and [[Mister Pettypaws]]. As they go to leave the cave, trees fall and block the entrance, but Heatwave uses his dino mode to clear a path. Dani's group also realize they're lost. Taylor starts taking photos, but when he tries to take a group shot, a bird flies off with his camera. He goes after it, and Dani and Blades are surprised when a short time later the camera soon returns around the neck of a frog which leads Blades to believe Taylor has been turned into the frog by the fairies. As he's securing the frog in his canopy, a swarm of bats appears and he runs off in alarm.

Chief's group reaches a fork in the road, but while they're trying to decide which way to go, Blades runs through pursued by the bats. Dani arrives a short time later, and at a cry from Blades, they find him standing in the grove full of felled trees. He points out the sparkling webs which he believes are fairies. Frankie's group also arrives, and Mrs Neederlander identifies the sparkles as "fairy dust". The ground suddenly starts to quake and gives way underneath the group, forming a hole which trees then fall on. When Blades drops his frog so he can join Heatwave in assisting Boulder, it hops away shortly before Taylor himself arrives. Mrs Neederlander insists all their problems are down to fairies. Once everyone's out of the hole, Taylor reveals he's not actually leaving the island and arranges a date with Dani that night. Graham takes a closer look at the webs and identifies them as spider mite webs, which it turns out are spreading the disease, but Frankie's sure her dad has a treatment that can fix it. The path out of the woods finally reappears and as they head out, Taylor looks through the photos he took, and he and Dani notice what appears to be a fairy in the background of a shot.

Chickadee was the first to welcome [[Blades (RB)|Blades]], [[Cody Burns|Cody]] and [[Graham Burns|Graham]] to [[Camp Itsa Craftsee]]. She was immediately suspicious of Blades in his holographic disguise, though she was happy to show them around the camp. The only activities, however, were making crafts or delivering packages to the post office. That night at the camp singalong she was unsurprised when Blades, who had been pretending to be Swedish, accidentally spoke in perfect English. To distract Chickadee from wondering what else Blades might be hiding, Graham told a story of local bandits who had lost a sackful of emeralds in the nearby hills. This prompted Blades to recall the green rocks he had seen earlier. Upon hearing about the 'green rocks', Chickadee quickly sent everyone to bed. She was later found by Graham, Cody and Blades wandering around the hills, apparently looking for a lost camper. When Blades didn't cooperate with her, she revealed that she had been selling the crafts the campers made online and pocketing the money, and that she intended to find the emeralds and take them for herself. She then used dynamite to cause a cave in, trapping the three inside. When the Rescue Team arrived to arrest her, she escaped in her dune buggy, but seeing Blades flying with his hologram engaged so startled her that she crashed into a tree and was easily caught. {{storylink|Camp Cody}}

That night at the camp singalong she was unsurprised when Blades, who had been pretending to be Swedish, accidentally spoke in perfect English. As the council examine the deceased [[Computron (G1)|Computron]] and [[Menasor (G1)|Menasor]], [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]] laments sending the Autobot [[Combiner]] on his fatal last mission. The [[Mistress of Flame]], meanwhile, is simply concerned that the Combiners will unravel the status quo on [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]].

At the base of the council tower, [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]], [[Windblade (G1)|Windblade]] and [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]] sneak their way towards the main elevator. The former Decepticon leader casually suggests killing the councillors, and Windblade is pretty open to the idea, but Prime insists they will attempt to reason with them. Even Starscream.

Up above, the councillors debate the intentions of rapidly approaching intruders, and the Mistress advocates using the [[Enigma of Combination]] to control the Combiners and threaten Prime's team into standing down. Rodimus and Starscream disagree, and the three councillors go to face down the intruders, albeit backed up by an array of gun turrets. Optimus Prime announces that his party will return into exile once they are allowed to destroy the Enigma, but the Mistress fails to believe him, and gets into a shouting match with fellow [[Caminus|Camien]] Windblade. Starscream, meanwhile, fails to convince Megatron that he doesn't have some scheme running, and the former Decepticon leader fires on his old second-in-command, triggering the turrets.

Optimus Prime's team are forced to defend themselves, and Windblade hears a mysterious voice in her head implore that she not "let this happen". Blades is disappointed, and Cody decides out of solidarity that he won't level up either.

The pair return to the fire station, where Cody explains the problem to [[Boulder]] and [[Chase (RB)|Chase]]. As she starts to question further, Graham changes the subject by launching into the tale of the haunted highwaymen, relating the story of a group of highwaymen who stole a stack of emeralds, but then got lost in the nearby caves. When Blades realizes that the green rocks he saw must have been the emeralds, Chickadee abruptly calls for lights out. Unable to sleep, Cody, Graham and Blades see strange lights and hear strange noises up in the hills. They head up there and find Chickadee poking around in the caves. She directs Graham and Cody to search the caves, but immediately starts interrogating Blades about where the emeralds are, revealing she's been selling the arts and crafts online and pocketing the money while she hunts for the gems. She sets a couple of sticks of dynamite at the cave entrance, causing it to cave in and trapping Blades in the cave with Graham and Cody.

The trio stumbles on the rat nest full of emeralds, along with an exit to the cave. Once they're all out,Blades contacts the team, who are still chasing Chickadee. When she starts throwing dynamite at her pursuers, Blades opts to join the chase in copter mode, however he's forgotten to deactivate his hologram. The sight of Blades flying along in his human disguise is enough to cause Chickadee to run off the road and end up stuck in a tree. The rest of the team take her into custody.

[[Heatwave (RB)|Heatwave]] puts the finishing touches to a mud run as part of an obstacle course so the [[Lad Pioneer]]s can earn their last badge to level up to Teen Pioneers. [[Blades (RB)|Blades]] and [[Cody Burns|Cody]] are the first to finish the course, however [[Kyle]] gets stuck halfway down the final zip-line. Heatwave makes an attempt to catch the boy as his line breaks, but in the end it's Blades who catches him. Chief breaks the news that the elevation ceremony is on the mainland, and Blades is going to be too difficult to explain. Blades is disappointed, and Cody decides out of solidarity that he won't level up either.

The pair return to the fire station, where Cody explains the problem to [[Boulder]] and [[Chase (RB)|Chase]]. [[Graham Burns|Graham]] thinks Blades isn't missing much, but Cody points out that he quit Lad Pioneers voluntarily. As Boulder and Chase discuss how disappointed Blades is, Graham has an idea. He builds a small portable [[hologram|holographic generator]] which disguises Blades as a human boy. Blades is overjoyed, though since he's still a giant robot, he has to be careful not to touch anything, as he discovers when he crushes a chair. Chief insists on having Graham go along to the camp as well, to make sure the hologram doesn't fail. Graham is reluctant but Blades is able to persuade him.

The trio arrive at [[Camp Itsa Craftsee]]. They're greeted by "head honcho and bear wrestler" [[Chickadee]] who hauls up in a dune buggy. After greeting Graham and Cody, she's surprised by Blades's name, and the Bot claims to be Swedish in an attempt to explain why he can't shake hands with her. She leads them to a cabin, but since there's no way Blades is going to fit inside, Graham insists that the trio will sleep under the stars. Blades speaks in Swedish for Chickadee who's impressed. They head over to the crafting circle and observe that Chickadee is having the other Lad Pioneers create various things. When Graham fails at knitting, Chickadee tries to offer the activity to Blades instead, but the three team members instead opt for a hike.

Chickadee has Cody and Graham carrying boxes to the post office as she drives on ahead. Graham suggests Blades turn off the hologram to conserve power, but as he's handing a box to the Bot, the ground crumbles under him. Graham ends up clinging to a tree on the edge of the cliff, until Blades is able to rescue him. Blades ends up sliding further down the cliff where he encounters a rat which is hoarding green rocks. He rejoins the others who are puzzling over why the boxes of arts and crafts are being sent all over the country. They question Chickadee who says it's a fundraiser, though Cody and Graham are unconvinced.

The Lad Pioneers have a campfire, however when Blades joins in on the singalong, Chickadee notes that he seems to have learned English quickly. As she starts to question further, Graham changes the subject by launching into the tale of the haunted highwaymen, relating the story of a group of highwaymen who stole a stack of emeralds, but then got lost in the nearby caves. When Blades realizes that the green rocks he saw must have been the emeralds, Chickadee abruptly calls for lights out. Unable to sleep, Cody, Graham and Blades see strange lights and hear strange noises up in the hills. They head up there and find Chickadee poking around in the caves. She directs Graham and Cody to search the caves, but immediately starts interrogating Blades about where the emeralds are, revealing she's been selling the arts and crafts online and pocketing the money while she hunts for the gems. She sets a couple of sticks of dynamite at the cave entrance, causing it to cave in and trapping Blades in the cave with Graham and Cody.

Blades makes an attempt to bash his way out, but Graham points out he's risking bringing the cave down on them. Instead Graham has Blades contact Chief, and then starts a fire. They spot that the smoke's being drawn out, and go to look for a possible exit. The rest of the team arrives at the camp, however Chickadee makes a run for it and they're forced to give chase. Meanwhile, Graham explains how he quit Lad Pioneers after getting lost on a night hike, and being the recipient of teasing from the other kids. The trio stumbles on the rat nest full of emeralds, along with an exit to the cave. Once they're all out,Blades contacts the team, who are still chasing Chickadee. When she starts throwing dynamite at her pursuers, Blades opts to join the chase in copter mode, however he's forgotten to deactivate his hologram. The sight of Blades flying along in his human disguise is enough to cause Chickadee to run off the road and end up stuck in a tree. The rest of the team take her into custody.

The next day, Chief takes over the elevation ceremony. Boulder, [[Kade Burns|Kade]] and [[Dani Burns|Dani]] return with the emeralds, having liberated them from the caves. Chief finishes the ceremony by presenting Graham with his final badge.

Cue [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]], whom Megatron seems relatively pleased to see, and [[Windblade (G1)|Windblade]]. Megatron questions if Optimus has come to finally end their battle, though Optimus insists he isn't here to fight. Regardless, Megatron attacks, forcing Optimus to fight back.

As the two grapple, Optimus insists Cybertron is in danger, though Megatron doesn't seem to care. Megatron instead suggests Optimus can't live without a war, reminding him how he didn't pull the trigger years ago, before hitting him with a sucker punch. Windblade steps in, but not before an enraged Optimus lunges at Megatron.

Optimus and Windblade again try to insist that Cybertron is in danger, though Megatron refuses to listen and attempts to walk away, causing Windblade to hit him with a surprise attack. Pleased with Windblade's tactics and attitude, Megatron listens to what they have to say. Upon being informed that [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]] and the Council have the Enigma of Combination, Megatron joins them, stating that he hates Starscream far more than he hates Optimus.

The three leave, heading to destroy the Enigma, once and for all...

I'm pretty positive this episode has <strike>some</strike> a lot of references to ''Alien'', but since I haven't watched that movie in many years I thought I'd see if anyone else saw any. At the very least we have a black alien with a freaky mouth crawling through the walls and taking down the crew one by one. There is the remaining consideration, continuity-wise, of [[New Normal|Optimus Prime having given the Rescue Bots the orders for the new training center]] earlier in the season, which would mean after the gap between Prime/Predacons Rising and RID, but before his resurrection in the finale of RID's first season (where Bumblebee finally nailed his catchphrase). Surrounded by a wall of flame, the Bots and their partners try to work out how they're going to escape, as [[Heatwave (RB)|Heatwave]]'s run out of water. After some discussion, they get [[Blades (RB)|Blades]] to climb on [[Boulder]] and [[Chase (RB)|Chase]] so Heatwave can use him as a ladder to escape the inferno and get a fire hose. Fortunately the whole thing was simply a training exercise in the [[Rescue Bot Training Center|Training Center]]'s Rescue Arena, and [[Cody Burns|Cody]] reports they had a perfect score. The center's computer detects a Cybertronian spacecraft hurtling through the atmosphere, and the team heads for the landing pad on the roof. Despite not knowing who's aboard, they decloak the base and use collision foam to provide the ship with a soft landing. The ship opens up to reveal [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]] and the team look to see who else is aboard, but are startled to find Bee has his voice back. He explains there's a lot that's happened, and he's got [[Bee Team (RID)|a new team]] and [[Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015 cartoon)|mission]]. While Blades looks increasingly uncomfortable, Bee asks Boulder to see if he can fix the ship. The others offer to take Bumblebee on a tour of the base, though they have to get [[Elma Hendrickson|Elma]] to scan him first.

[[Charlie Burns|Chief]] checks in with [[Salvage (RB)|Salvage]] and [[Blurr (Prime)|Blurr]] who are covering for the team in [[Griffin Rock]]. Their efforts to get [[Mister Pettypaws]] off a flagpole end when Blurr gets impatient and races directly at the pole. The cat jumps off in fright, and Blurr stops short of hitting the pole. Chief is unimpressed.

As the team shows Bumblebee around, Chief announces it might be a good idea for the Burns family to return to the island, though they leave Cody behind along with the Bots. While Heatwave shows off the race track to Bumblebee, Blades explains to Cody that he's uncomfortable with the changed in his friend. Bumblebee enjoys the race track.

As Boulder and [[Servo (RB)|Servo]] work on the crashed ship, they find part of the meteor which hit it, but after they put it aside, it cracks open and a small [[Energon eater]] emerges.

The tour reaches the "neural nook" control center and then heads down to the Rescue Arena.

The energon eater moves towards Servo but is unable to reach him thanks to Boulder inadvertently moving into its path, so the creature heads into the base's air ducts, eventually ending up at the Rescue Arena, which Heatwave is showing off by revealing the martial arts equipment and floor maze. As the others go to head into the maze, the energon eater pounces on Heatwave, draining his [[energon]] and knocking him out. [[Chase (RB)|Chase]] tries to move Heatwave, only for the creature to attack and drain him as well, before disappearing into a nearby duct. The remaining Bots put Heatwave and Chase into stasis pods to recover before considering their next move. Cody has Elma lock down the base, which fortunately stops the energon eater before it can escape through the upper elevator shaft and get to Servo and the damaged ship.

In Griffin Rock, Blurr, Salvage and the Burns family are dealing with a technical problem and directing traffic when Cody contacts Chief and fills him in on the situation.

Boulder uses his seismic imager to try and locate the energon eater without success. They soon find the creature in question anyway, as it pops out of a vent and heads into the Arena maze. The three Bots take an entrance each and try to corner it in the center of the maze, however Cody loses track of the creature, and Blades and Bumblebee accidentally bump into each other. Cody relocates the creature when it slams into the glass of the control booth and a short time later, they find Boulder weakened, having just managed to fight the critter off. After they get him into stasis, Cody heads to the neural nook to try to track the energon eater from there while Bumblebee and Blades continue to hunt. Blades confesses he's having trouble adapting to Bumblebee's new circumstances, though Bumblebee feels their friendship can survive the changes. They manage to find the energon eater in a duct, but have trouble getting at it. Cody suggests luring the creature to them instead, and they hit on the idea of using the spaceship as bait.

With the lockdown ended, the two Bots, Cody and Servo conceal themselves around the landing pad. When the energon eater makes an appearance, Bumblebee and Blades hit it with foam and a net, trapping it. With it safely stored in a stasis pod, the other three Bots are reactivated and the rest of the team returns to the center for a reunion. Bumblebee invites Blades to join his team on a mission before leaving — Blades is overjoyed, until Heatwave points out that all of Bumblebee's missions involve capturing [[Decepticon|dangerous things]].

==Synopsis==
The away team pursue a Decepticon through a forest, and though [[Windblade (RID)|Windblade]] urges caution, [[Sideswipe (RID)|Sideswipe]] moves in, only for [[Shocksprocket]] to zap the entire team with an electric charge he swiftly builds up. They eventually corner the Con in a clearing, and Sideswipe realizes he can use a non-conductive branch to render Shocksprocket out cold. This done, they radio [[Fixit (RID)|Fixit]] to report in and the [[Mini-Con]] announces their next destination is [[Qomolangma|Mount Everest]]. Though the team has some trepidation about going into such a hostile area, [[Russell Clay|Russell]] explains that he was watching ''[[Beyond the Mysterious Unknown with Loren Fortean]]'' and saw that the host had captured footage of what was believed to be a [[Yeti]]. Further investigation by Fixit has revealed that the "yeti" is actually [[Abominus (RID)|Abominus]], a Decepticon whom Windblade has had a previous encounter with. The away team begin preparations to go after their new prize.

Meanwhile [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]], [[Strongarm (RID)|Strongarm]] and [[Grimlock (RID 2015)|Grimlock]] are tracking down a Decepticon much closer to the scrapyard. Though they believe the Decepticon may be wounded, it turns out he's just incredibly lazy. They find [[Brakepad]] still snoozing in his damaged stasis pod, and he uses his hypnotic powers to incapacitate them before ambling off.

The away team emerge from their [[GroundBridge]] onto Mount Everest and begin making their way upwards. They soon encounter a laser turret left by the tricky Abominus, but manage to take it out. They realize that the various traps will pose a danger to [[Loren Fortean]]'s crew, and they must disable them.

Russell finds Fortean's show broadcasting outside its usual time slot — Fortean and his crew have recorded some of the distant battle with the turret and are investigating. Russell alerts Fixit, but they're unable to get a signal through the poor weather to warn the away team.

Meanwhile, Fortean's team bickers as they head up the mountain. While Fortean is mostly concerned about his ratings, his guide [[Wilson|Brigadier Wilson]] is skeptical that they'll find anything at all.

The Autobots are making good time up the mountain while defusing booby traps, until Sideswipe's cocky exclamations cause an avalanche. Windblade attempts to save Optimus, but both of them are swept from the side of the mountain. In the aftermath, everyone is fine, but Slipstream is missing in action.

Bumblebee's team stumbles back to base and the others are shocked at their lethargic state as a result of Brakepad's hypnotism. Before the team powers down, they manage to communicate the name of the Decepticon they found, and Fixit looks him up. Unfortunately the device they'll need to counteract Brakepad's power requires parts they don't have, but Russell has an alternate plan.

Though the away team have lost Slipstream and Optimus is reluctant to go on without looking, [[Drift (RID)|Drift]] is confident his pupil has the skills to survive. Indeed, Slipstream is fine, and encounters Loren Fortean's still-arguing group. Staying out of sight, he tails them.

Russell and Denny take Bumblebee, Strongarm and Grimlock out to find Brakepad, though all three are complaining about having to do work. Once they locate the Decepticon, the humans put glasses painted black on the Autobots so Brakepad can't affect them with his power, then goad the Autobots into fighting the Con. Brakepad is too lazy to fight back and is swiftly deposited in a stasis pod they've brought along.

Realizing that Fortean's group is heading up a booby-trapped path, Slipstream goes ahead of them and destroys the traps before sending them down a different track. The rest of the away team locates Abominus's lair and gain entry, however it's just as dangerous inside as out and Windblade triggers a trap which fires spikes at them. Though they escape that, they promptly fall through a trapdoor and land up in a cage. Abominus gloats and announces that, annoyed by the humans constantly scurrying up his hideout, he has planted [[Energon]] bombs and intends to create a massive avalanche. After Abominus heads off to plant more explosives, Slipstream arrives and releases the team. When Abominus returns, the Autobots use a looped surveillance video to lure him to a tunnel where they turn his own traps on him. Abominus ends up in the cage, and Windblade remotely disables all of his bombs. The Autobots don't have long to celebrate their victory, as unfortunately Fortean's group has reached the entrance to the lair.

Back in the scrapyard, Russell and the recovered Autobots are sitting down to watch [[television|TV]] when Fixit reports on the success of the away team. Fortean's show comes on with the "first audio recording of a yeti", a voice which Russell recognizes as belonging to Sideswipe.
