Swindle
:Swindle is a Decepticon from the 2007 movie franchise in the live-action film continuity family and ALSO a bunch of mass-produced drones on both sides.

Swindle is one of many Decepticons ordered to Earth by Megatron to cause havoc for the Autobot forces there. He's well suited to the task. Swindle is not a great fighter, and more, he's dumb as a post, but he takes great glee in blowing things (any "things") to pieces, and that's worth something, right? Generally he leaps and hops around the battlefield like a madman, blasting explosives out of his chest cannon and laughing uncontrollably. Havoc is a given when he's around. He's also an enthusiastic but unfortunately ineffectual interrogator. But don't get him started on <s>Jolt</s> Dead End, he hates him for some reason.

Sometimes there are lots of him.

On both sides.

Many years ago, Swindle was a member of Cybertron's Defense Force, under the command of Protector Megatron. After the discovery of a mysterious relic and an alien attack, Defiance issue 1 Megatron changed significantly, altering the military's mission from one of protection of their homeworld to the new aim of making war upon the hostile aliens and anybody who would stand in their way. Swindle was present at Megatron's war rally in Trypticon, where the military leader demanded the control of all of Cybertron's forces in his vengeful attack on the aliens from the Eshems Nebula. Defiance issue 2

When Megatron consulted with the relic and decided to capture science division leader Optimus and eliminate his associated "traitors", Swindle was awaiting orders with Starscream's group. He survived the botched ambush on Optimus and joined Megatron's new "Decepticon" faction. Defiance issue 3

During the subsequent civil war, Swindle was in charge of torturing the location of the AllSpark out of Bumblebee's team after their capture at Tyger Pax. Even though he killed one of the team, he failed to extract any information from them, but succeeded at pissing off Megatron, who dismissed all of his underlings... then promised the relieved Swindle a slow and torturous death.

Luckily for Swindle, Megatron took off into space and was lost before he was able to follow through on his threats. Movie Prequel issue 1

Later, Swindle was part of the crew of Starscream's ship, which pursued the AllSpark and Megatron to the Eshems Nebula. They were forced to turn back for repairs when the ship was damaged by an Autobot concussion chain. The Reign of Starscream issue 1

After Megatron's death and the destruction of the AllSpark, Autobots attacked the Decepticons' ship on Mars as Starscream recuperated. Numerous drones, including Swindle units, Payload units and Dreadwing units were deployed to fight off Arcee's team. The Reign of Starscream issue 3 Later, Swindle units were among those in Dreadwing's army that helped build Starscream's new AllSpark Cube The Reign of Starscream issue 4 and were subsequently involved in Dreadwing's failed coup. The Reign of Starscream issue 5

The main Swindle, meanwhile, had become a member of Soundwave's crew, and was sent down to San Francisco on Earth to blow stuff up as a diversionary tactic. He was sent with Dead End, who he hates. Alliance issue 3 Their actions attracted the attention of the newly-formed N.E.S.T. military alliance between the Autobots and humans, though they didn't distract their enemies for long. Dead End was almost immediately destroyed by Optimus Prime, while Swindle was defeated by a tag team consisting of his old nemesis Bumblebee and Major Lennox. Before he died, Swindle delivered an ominous warning that none of them were safe, and the Decepticons would find "it". Alliance issue 4

Later, after Starscream had taken power, a Swindle and Crankcase were confused by Starscream talking to himself and fondly remembered their old boss Megatron... right before Optimus landed on their heads. Swindle drones swarmed him, but were massacred for their troubles. Transformers Comic issue 22

As part of Starscream's plan in Italy, Swindle joined Deadend in causing chaos in the streets of Rome to draw the Autobots out. When the Autobots and NEST forces arrived and Rome, Swindle and Deadend got the drop on them and led them all through Rome. At first, Swindle and Deadend had no trouble staying ahead of the pursuing Autobots, as the Autobots' large alt-modes proved to be too unwieldy for Rome's narrow streets. But rookie Autobot Knock Out got the last laugh when he caught up to the Decepticon duo and tricked them into crashing into each other. As an infuriated Starscream challenged Optimus Prime to a one-on-one match in the Coliseum, the battered Swindle and Deadend quietly slinked off into the night. The Veiled Threat

Swindle units had excellent speed and fair attack power, but very weak defense. They were differentiated primarily by their heads; Autobot versions had a faceplate with separate eyes, while the Decepticon versions had a lens-head. Battle for the Allspark

Transformers The Game (console)
:Voice actor: Fred Tatasciore (grunts only)

Swindles were very common foes sent against both sides, though the largest concentration of them was in Tranquility. The Decepticon ones were particularly fond of lying in wait in their car modes and springing sneak attacks on any passerby Autobot. They were stronger than the Scrapper units, but not by a lot, and were generally easily disposed of.

Aside from the head design differences, Decepticon Swindles were a deep wine color, while Autobots versions were green. Transformers The Game (console)

Transformers: Autobots/Decepticons
Swindles appeared as common enemies throughout the quest for the Allspark, mainly in Tranquility and Hoover Dam, and appeared as adversaries in both Autobot and Decepticon campaigns. The Swindle body type appeared as several automobile forms, including the Beater, Sportster, Notchback, Import, Longhorn (Autobot Exclusive), Gunner (Autobots Exclusive), Stunt Car (Decepticons Exclusive), Lightning Rider, Tricked Out Car, Racer, Hot Rodder, Speedster, and Scout (Decepticons Exclusive). All forms use the Autobot visor version of the head. Transformers Autobots/Decepticons

: Swindle transforms into a Chevrolet Cobalt. He's the Decepticon version, with the lens-head, and is remarkably accurate to his video game design. As with most of the Movie road vehicle toys, he replicates the car on which he's based realistically, even if the sculpt design is slightly genericized and has no official licensing.

:During transformation, his Automorphing gimmick flips out his head/chest section on its own from his upper torso. His torso also features a spring-loaded cannon that extends when a button on his back is pressed, and the cannon structure itself can be extended from the torso to give a more impressive appearance. This cannon gimmick can also be used in car mode, where it looks like a super-turbo-nitro exhaust pipe.

:As is the standard in the Movie toyline, Swindle features reasonable articulation in robot mode, with ball-jointed shoulders, hips and wrists, and swivels at the elbows and knees. His head can barely move, but a modification may be done by the owner to increase its range of motion.

:Also, when detached, Swindle's hands fit in the space between Starscream's cannons.

:This mold was later redecoed into Camshaft.
The weakest of the Transformer drone-models, Scrappers are light on their feet and vicious melee combatants when up close. They are armed with small rocket launchers, but they don't use them often. They primarily show up to harass the Autobots in Tranquility, but they also arrive in vast numbers to tackle Megatron in Mission City. To defeat them, follow the following tips: SMASH! SHOOT! WILD ATTACKS! They just go boom in one or two hits. Transformers The Game (console)
Mixmaster drones on both sides have unstoppable attack power, good defense, but little speed. Battle for the Allspark

Transformers: The Game (console)
Mixmasters are rarely-seen foes; Decepticon units are dark green, while Autobot units are yellow. They are shielded against artillery (they don't even stop to block, they just keep coming) and shrug off melee attacks as well; the only way to damage them is to knock them down by throwing something at them or ramming them in vehicle mode, then picking the drone itself up and hurling it. They are armed with heavy rocket launchers with a slow rate of fire, but nasty punch. Along with Longarm, they are one of the hardest and most annoying drones.

A Decepticon Mixmaster drone waited for Ironhide in Tranquility when Jazz was being hounded by both Sector Seven forces and the Decepticons. Both sides sent Mixmasters after each other in Mission City, and a few popped up in "sub-missions". Transformers The Game (console)
Seeker Snipers (also known as Decepticon Long-Range Warriors) are Decepticon F/A-18 Hornet jets colored like some Decepticon. They have the special ability to teleport short distances and target enemies from afar with a heat-seeking missile.
Revenge of the Fallen (Xbox 360/PS3/PC)

PS2/Wii
The Decepticon Long-Range Warriors transformed into silver Earth jets rather than their usual black. Their arm blasters fired red balls of plasma, similar to their Autobot counterparts' blue. They were also armed with weapons such as machine guns and missile launchers.

When Optimus Prime dropped into Shanghai (literally) via NEST cargo plane, Long-Range Warriors were the first to fight back, led by their lieutenant. Obviously, it ended quite disastrously, with the Autobot leader shooting through dozens of the Decepticons and cutting the last three stragglers in half at the waist. They later attacked Ironhide, who was on a mission to destroy Demolishor. In the same theatre of operations, they also assisted Sideways when he was being pursued by Bumblebee.

When Bumblebee was captured, these air warriors guarded the base where the Autobot was imprisoned. However, a traitor set the Autobot free, and the units assailed Bumblebee while he worked his way through the base. They attacked Ironhide again as he worked his way towards the Decepticon's cannons. Revenge of the Fallen (Wii/PS2)

Notes
*According to their status, these Decepticon flyboys have great vehicle speed, but not so much weapon damage and running. where did this come from?

*Much like Protectobot Scout, The Seeker Sniper is playable in Single Player via cheat code in the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The cheat to play as the Seeker on the PlayStation 3 version is: Square, Triangle, Square, L1, X, L1. To play as the Seeker in the Xbox 360 version input: X, Y, X, LB, A, LB. Unfortunately, all achievements and your online sessions will be disabled by playing as the Seeker, which is odd considering all that's being done is playing as another character. Unlike the Autobot's Protectobot Scout's Playable version, the Seeker may be used in Deep-6.
*The Seeker Sniper is playable in Single Player mode via Hacking (Or simply tweak with the file). The Seeker Sniper is called "dskrwarrior". Unfortunately, its special ability, Teleport, is unavailable via hack.
* Aerialbot Scout 2's design and alternate mode are based on the Generation 1 Aerialbot Skydive. His robot mode takes some cues from the Transformers: Autobots Skydive.

* Aerialbot Scout 2 (called "Aerialbot" in-game) is one of the three mass-produced Transformers playable in the 360/PS3/PC version of the ROTF game (but only with the DLC package), the others being Protectobot Scout and the Decepticon Seeker Sniper. Unlike the multiplayer-only Protectobot, he can also be used in some single player missions. His files for multiplayer however, still remains. Which allows for hacking so that he can be played in Single Player without DLC.
:Stratosphere is an Autobot from the Revenge of the Fallen franchise in the live-action film continuity family.

When a unit of Autobots needs to get somewhere fast, they turn to Stratosphere. His cargo plane mode can transport an entire team half way around the globe and then supply high-altitude covering fire when they get there. In the air, he is virtually unbeatable, and he knows it; Stratosphere thinks he can take on just about any challenge all on his lonesome, and this becomes a distinct problem when the threat is on the ground, where his combat abilities are no great shakes. As a consequence, he doesn't like to spend a lot of time on terra firma, preferring to reign supreme in the sky for as long as possible.

During a routine sweep of British Columbia, Stratosphere lost contact with NEST headquarters when he flew through an unanticipated bank of heavy cloud over a mountain range. The cloud bank proved artificial, created by the Decepticons in order to hide their operation to reconstruct Devastator, a truth Stratosphere discovered when the partially-functional behemoth swatted him out the sky. His wings damaged by the blow and his communications nullified by a Decepticon jamming field, Stratosphere hoofed it to the Decepticons' construction site, and single-handedly took out the work-bots in a frenzied frontal assault. Construction supervisor Skywarp proved tougher to handle, and Stratosphere was floored by a single kick from the Decepticon, but luckily, before a killing shot could be delivered, Stratosphere exploited his unusual body shape by spinning over on the ground and smacking Skywarp with his wing. Realizing that he couldn't face this threat down alone, he destroyed the jamming array and radioed in his position to NEST with a request to bring the rain. Undeterred, Skywarp transformed to jet mode and came streaking towards him, but Stratosphere quipped that being brought down to earth had given him a new perspective, and he tilted the device generating the cloud bank upwards, blinding Skywarp with it. Skywarp crashed, and Stratosphere made himself scarce, meeting up with Jolt, Rollbar and Dune Runner just as the air-strike arrived. Watching the massive blast from afar, Jolt wondered if Devastator could have survived, and Stratosphere advocated not waiting around to find out. After all... any landing he could walk away from was a good one!
Stratosphere was stationed in a base located in an icy ravine in Nepal, where he would receive the MechTech technology that was going to be sent to Optimus Prime. Air Raid gave the alert of a Decepticon approaching. Several jets deployed to take care of Starscream so Stratosphere could escape, although the Decepticon was fast enough to catch up with him again after dispatching his attackers.

Stratosphere attempted to shoot him down with a large anti-aircraft battery, but was powerless against the more maneuverable Starscream. After suffering damage to his fuel lines and one of his engine cowlings, he deployed the Aerialbots to fend Starscream off, but the Decepticon ace shot all of them down and pressed the attack.

Stratosphere was furious and engaged his Stealth Force mode to finish off Starscream for good. Starscream merely sneered, launching guided missiles to destroy Stratosphere's engines and cripple the craft. Stratosphere desperately informed Optimus that his engines were aflame and he was going down, only for the Autobot leader to grimly remind him that Starscream could not be allowed to take the MechTech weaponry.

Nevertheless, Starscream managed to blast his way into Stratosphere's cargo hold. After finishing off what few Autobots remained, he captured some MechTech guns and detonated the remaining ones to destroy Stratosphere from the inside.

As Starscream flew off and declared his victory, a flaming, exploding Stratosphere disappeared into the clouds below. Dark of the Moon (Xbox 360/PS3)
A genius chemist, Mixmaster serves as a weapons designer to the Decepticon elite. He has spent his entire lifespan mastering the intricacies of chemical reactions, becoming an expert in poisons, corrosive substances, and most especially explosives. He has a knack for improvisation, being able to make deadly concoctions from just the native materials a world has to offer. A member of the Constructicons, when Devastator is formed he constitutes the lumbering beast's head.

In the distant past, the AllSpark Cube created a race of powerful, trans-dimensional beings as the first inhabitants of Cybertron. The Cube gave these beings mighty powers, as well as terraforming their world, but it was not limitless, and gradually became depleted. The first beings learned that the AllSpark's power could be replenished by harvesting the energy of stars, but they were unable to locate new stars to suit their purposes, despite their amazing ability to travel between dimensions. Once again, the Cube came to the rescue, creating a race of workers, who had the ability to change their shape.

The "Mixmaster" body-type was among the very first of these new beings, one of several "builders" who would construct a harvester when a suitable sun had been found. Once built, the device would drain the energy of these stars, thus replenishing the AllSpark. Defiance issue 4

One of the Mixmasters was part of The Fallen's early Decepticons. On Earth, he and his brothers were sicced on the turncoat Jetfire. Mixmaster was the last one standing and managed to get the Seeker in a crushing embrace, informing him "You die". Jetfire got out of this by teleporting into Earth's atmosphere, causing Mix's death by atmosphere re-entry. Tales of the Fallen issue 3
It is presumed that at some point during the civil war on Cybertron, a surviving Mixmaster(s) sided with Megatron, the new protege of the Fallen.

Mixmaster was the leader of the Constructicons on the Nemesis. Once the ship passed over the Laurentian Abyss, the Decepticons jumped overboard and dove down to where Megatron's broken body lay. Scalpel ordered the death of the smallest Constructicon to rebuild Megatron, a request that Mixmaster and the others obliged with. Soon, Megatron was reborn!

After Megatron killed Optimus Prime, Mixmaster climbed the Brooklyn Bridge and knocked down the American flag in a display of dominance.

Some time later, Mixmaster and another Constructicon with the same body-type were present in Egypt during Operation: Firestorm. Mixmaster and several other Constructicons waited in a quarry in their construction vehicle disguises until the humans Seymour Simmons, Leo Spitz and their Autobot guardians Skids and Mudflap approached. Elsewhere, the other Mixmaster fought against the NEST forces in the Egyptian town near the great ruins of the pyramids, using his cannon emplacement mode to cause serious problems, until the ex-Decepticon Jetfire arrived to slice him in half and crush his torso, popping his head off and killing him.
Mixmaster was one of the Decepticons dispatched to intercept an evacuation led by Ratchet and a NEST convoy. He led an assault group which was able to destroy the convoy; however, the evacuation had already ended. Since his mission had failed, Mixmaster tried to console himself by killing Ratchet and was able to put him in a critical state before Ironhide arrived and helped him. Mixmaster threw Ratchet away and ordered his troops to attack Ironhide, but the Autobot defeated them. Mixmaster then decided to take care of the situation by himself, but ended up trapped under a platform dropped by Ironhide.

However, this didn't stop him for too long, and he was able to quickly get out and place his remaining soldiers into a scrapyard. The troops were once again defeated by Ironhide and his new weapon sent by Wheeljack. Mixmaster was too confident that the weapon wasn't strong enough to take out his shields, and he attacked with no warning. During the battle, his shields were in fact destroyed by Ironhide's new weapon, turning the tide of the battle towards Ironhide's favor. Ironhide defeated the Decepticon and terminated his opponent, gangland execution-style.
:Mixmaster and the six other Legends class Constructicons combine to form Devastator. In Japan, the Legends class Constructicons were sold individually. Mixmaster has the dubious honor of pulling Devastator's face around like a rectal growth in robot mode. He forms (you guessed it) the head of Devastator.

*Mixmaster (Voyager, 2009)
**Japanese ID number: RD-12
**Accessories: Missile

: Voyager Class Revenge of the Fallen Mixmaster transforms into a gray and silver cement mixer with purple windows and headlights, based loosely on the Mack Granite truck seen in the film. The vehicle mode's mixing drum is incapable of rotating due to the transformation, but does boast a pair of gigantic Decepticon logos on either side. The cement chute at the rear of the vehicle mode can accurately raise and lower on a hinge, and the cannon can be fixed to fire directly overhead or behind at pursuing vehicles.

: His robot mode is designed to be squat with very long arms, but in order to be fully functional and look like the stock photo, his legs at the hip joints must be slightly mistransformed from what is depicted in his instructions. This results in a robot mode that is very thin and lanky, with numerous joints on the extremely long arms alone. The packaging calls out Mech Alive gimmickry in the form of "spinning gears" on his chest, but the feature is only present at the thighs and forearms, which reveal shifting internal bits when the joints are rotated. The robot mode's missile-firing cannon is locked in place on its back pointing straight upward; it can be raised over Mixmaster's head, although this involves letting the cab hang loose on his back as it's designed to attach to the cannon. Alternately the toy can be transformed to its artillery cannon-like Battle Mode that has him essentially performing a belly flop, letting the launcher fire forward. At least, according to the Battle Mode's official depiction on the instructions.

: The instructions and the box pictures show the joint that attaches the cab to the robot to be inverted, with the released toy having the cab joint upside-down as compared with what is in the instructions and box pictures. Out of the box, the toy cannot exactly mimic the battle mode of the instructions or stock photos, but it's close enough for most people to assume they were doing something wrong until one realizes this mis-assembly. The joint can be corrected by the removal and re-attachment of the metal pin behind the front-bumper, but this is not as easy as it sounds and may potentially be damaging to the toy.

: The image of the cement mixer mode on the packaging has been flipped horizontally as well, leaving the location of the ladder switched. Additionally, the robot mode image on the packaging has a different mold for the mixing drum shells, with rectangular-shaped pegs rather than circular.

:The Mixmaster component of the Devastator set becomes Devastator's head. He contains the lights and sounds for Devastator, as well as individual sounds for his vehicle mode. They are motion activated, which means he never, ever shuts up. As with the other Constructicon members in this set, Mixmaster does not have his own robot mode. To activate sounds (if you're willing to do so, that is), press down on a lever on Devastator's chest. Doing so will raise Devastator's mighty head and open his mouth, and cause one of a myriad of sounds to play, including: "I am.... DEVASTATOR!" "CRUSH... AUTOBOTS!" "MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" "I am...DECEPTICON!". In Devastator mode, pressing the button down for a few moments also activates his "vortex grinder". Transforming him back into his own component activates the transformation sound when the face cover is pulled from the underside of his truck mode. After that, he randomly starts making engine stalling noises whenever you look at him funny.
*Constructicon Devastator (2009)
: Mega Power Bots Devastator is a simple toy for younger children, featuring plenty of playing sounds and flashing lights. His limbs have limited swivel articulation and do not detach into separate vehicles. He has a distinctly more humanoid stature than normal.

: Unlike regular Power Bots, and unlike other portrayals of the character in general, Devastator features a transformation! It consists of putting his arms up and laying him flat on his stomach, which lets him roll around using the wheels on his limbs.

: Pressing down the Decepticon shield on his crotch (!) spins the vortex in his chest, lights up his eyes and makes him utter one of many Welker-recorded phrases, including "Prepare for extermination!", "Crush Autobots!" and "I am Devastator!" Pressing on the crane of his excavator arm makes a cannon blast sound effect, while pressing the cab of his loader arm turns the scoop into claws.
Unlike Takara's go at the same idea, Mixmaster and the other Constructicons are mostly just lime green and gray, with the only bits of purple being their windshields. The Mixmaster figure itself appears to be an unchanged version from the Revenge of the Fallen release of the Legends Constructicon Devastator combiner figure, and comes packed with (apparently) similarly unchanged Constructicon Devastator figures of Long Haul, Rampage, a red redeco of Scrapper, who was probably intended to be Scrapmetal, and a metallic green redeco of Voyager class Megatron
Notes
*According to Ben Procter's concept art, Mixmaster originally had a friendly face based on that of actor Brendan Gleeson... and was apparently going to be an Autobot. The early head design was actually put to use in the Generation 1 Mixmaster-themed redeco store exclusive, as well as the Legends Mixmaster.

*Apparently, a definitive and solid configuration for the Voyager Mixmaster toy's Battle Mode IS possible, for if one were to look carefully, one would see several design elements present in the toy that are indicative of a (most likely) thoroughly planned out transformation for the third mode. Unfortunately, none of these design elements are alluded to at all in the instructions, leaving many with nothing but guesses as to how it all fits together. Or in most cases, complete disregard for this mode altogether. But this does open the door for a lot of fanmode interpretations, which is always good.

*Not unlike Bonecrusher in the first movie, Revenge of the Fallen sees Mixmaster (and indeed, quite a lot of other Decepticons) emit some heavily-processed, garbled Cybertronian noise that could maybe pass for English dialogue if you cup your ear and turn your head sideways. The difference is that the DVD subtitles actually interpret the roar he lets out before transforming to battle mode as the sentence fragment "Listen up..." Unlike Bonecrusher, however, no voice actor is listed in the end credits.

*Though the green Mixmaster was a Toy'R Us exclusive, he was featured as a co-sell on exclusive products sent to competing stores (notably the Super Tuner Showdown, exclusive to Walmart)

There are two of him, one of which forms the head of Devastator, the other may or may not be also named "Mixmaster".

He grumbled at Soundwave for ordering them to stay in the Longshots cargo hold when they left the damaged Nemesis to pursue the Ark. Convergence chapter 1

After the AllSpark shard was retrieved from NEST's secure bunker at Diego Garcia, Long Haul, Rampage, Mixmaster, Scalpel, Ravage and another, smaller Constructicon secreted themselves aboard the Bayos freighter heading towards the North Atlantic.

The Constructicons combined into the mighty Devastator and attacked.

Meanwhile, Devastator had shrugged off the Autobot twins and was busy demolishing the Great Pyramid of Giza when Simmons called upon the United States Navy to attack Devastator. The U.S.S. Kidd fired her experimental rail gun, smashing one of his arms to pieces and destroying Devastator. Revenge of the Fallen (film)

*Constructicon Devastator (Legends figure multi-pack, 2010)
:In Hasbro's markets, the Legends Constructicons were sold together as an exclusive multi-pack at Walmart in North America and Argos in the UK.
Voyager Class toys

:Available only in the Toys"R"Us-exclusive "Back Road Brawl" figure pack with Hoist, this release of Mixmaster features a new head that was gang-molded to Mixmaster, but until now went unused. His colour scheme has been extensively redecoed in a layout resembling the Generation 1 Constructicons. He is decorated with a small tampograph reading "Ol' Lefty", a reference to how Generation 1 Mixmaster formed Devastator's left leg.

:A Toys"R"Us-exclusive Generation 1-themed redeco of Legends Devastator and his components. Unlike Takara's go at the same idea, Mixmaster and the other Constructicons are mostly just lime green and gray, with the only bits of purple being their windshields. They do, however, have brown paint operations on and around their wheels to simulate dirt.
*Megatron Rising (Figure multi-pack)

:This retailer exclusive multi-pack recreated the scene in Revenge of the Fallen where the Constructicons resurrect Megatron.
