When Doc Greene and Graham are stranded in orbit, the Rescue Bots take to the stars to rescue them.

Synopsis
Huxley Prescott introduces a new space elevator, the Asgard, which will launch into space on a laser. In mission control, Professor Baranova is wondering where the ship's crew is — as it turns out, Doc Greene's plain forgotten about the launch, while Graham Burns is having launch day jitters. The Rescue Bots try to help by reminding Graham that they have experience with space travel, but Graham's not convinced. Soon everything is ready though, and the countdown underway. Prescott, excited to bring his viewers a front row seat, sends his hover camera in, but the device accidentally gets too close and interrupts one of the laser beams for the elevator. With the laser nearing overload, there's a danger the Asgard will be destroyed. Graham and Doc Greene attempt to escape but find they're sealed in, and are forced to return to their launch chairs. The Rescue Bots swing into action, lifting the craft so that Heatwave can get to the camera and remove it from the laser, and the launch goes off successfully.

Frankie, Cody and the Chief check with Baranova, who says everything went fine post-launch, so they return to the fire house to use the telescope on the roof. As the Asgard heads upwards, Doc Greene suspects he's forgotten something, while Graham panics every time something minor happens. The elevator finally reaches the top, at which point Graham is violently sick into Doc Greene's lunch bag—the Doc forgot the motion sickness bags. Down on Earth, Frankie peers at the Asgard through the telescope, while the Rescue Bots wonder if one of them should have gone too, though they admit to never having done a space rescue before. They spot a meteor through the telescope, though Frankie says it's not going to go near the Asgard. Unfortunately the meteor happens to plough through a cluster of asteroids, sending a number of them spinning. Graham and the Doc are about to go get lunch when the impact alarm sounds, and an errant asteroid strikes the ship, sheering off one of the pods.

Baranova reports that the ship's comms are down, but they're retracting the elevator to bring the Asgard back to Earth. Of more concern, debris from the Asgard is about to rain down on the island, so the team swings into action. Chase and Boulder use foam to contain two of the pieces, while Heatwave punches one into the ocean, and Blades uses a deft maneuver involving his scoop claw to take out the last two. With the island safe, the team returns to the launch pad, however when the laser finally deactivates, the Asgard is nowhere to be seen. They realize that the Asgard has been knocked from the laser beam. Baranova rings NASA, but they don't have any way to launch a rescue mission on short notice. Luckily the Chief has a contingency plan.

On the Asgard, Graham and Doc Greene discover that their air supply has been leaking away, and they have a half-hour of air left. Help isn't far away, as the rescue team enters the hidden hanger containing the Rescue Bots' ship, the Sigma. Meanwhile Graham and Doc realize that they have an oxygen supply in the form of the greenhouse pod. They seal themselves in there, unaware that one of the exterior windows is cracked. The Sigma lifts off from its hanger under the basketball court, and the Rescue Bots discover Cody is aboard, having accidentally stowed away while bringing a first aid kit. Heatwave has Cody get into his passenger compartment for safety. Doc Greene notices the swiftly-spreading crack in the window, however the Sigma arrives soon enough, and Heatwave space-walks over to the Asgard. Entering the other ship, he finds Doc and Graham and has them climb inside him, just before the window breaks. Heatwave clings on, but is ultimately sucked out into space. All seems lost until Cody has the idea of using Heatwave's water reserves as propulsion, and they're able to jet back to the Sigma.

Some time later, the Sigma carries the Asgard back to Earth on a cable, and lands. The space travelers are reunited with their family on the ground. They quickly come up with a splashdown explanation to give Baranova. The Rescue Bots muse it was nice to take the Sigma for a spin again.
Notes
Animation and technical errors
* In the shot of Griffin Rock as the laser first activates, parts of the scene seem to be colored as though it's night. Noticeably the normally light brown sand is rendered dark brown, and all of the buildings have lights on.
* Chase's arm clips through the hinge on the Sigmas ramp as he exits the ship.

Continuity errors
*The point of having a countdown for launches is that you can halt it if something's wrong. Clearly Griffin Rock mission control missed the memo!
*Before the title sequence, the countdown is down to 7 seconds. It takes somewhat longer than that for the Rescue Bots to remove the camera.
*At several points, the Asgard experiences periods of weightlessness. It's later revealed to have a waterfall and stream in one of the pods, which ought to have caused problems.
*While lasers can be used for propulsion, they can't retract in the manner shown.
*Apparently meteoroid, which is a small piece of rock in space, can give great velocity to an gigantic object, that is classified as a small planet!

Continuity notes
*The Asgard uses a similar design aesthetic to the Midgard, Baranova's previous design from "The Griffin Rock Triangle", which was also her introductory episode.
*Like the Midgard, the Asgard takes its name from Norse mythology—Asgard being the realm inhabited by the gods.
While trying to hunt it down, Cody and the Bots discover the legendary Maine Ridge Monster is closer than they thought.

Synopsis
Cody is doing his astronomy homework, taking photos of constellations through a telescope while the Bots help, though Blades's assertion that he can see the Mirtonian Star Cluster doesn't help. While they discuss what humans might call the constellation, Chase points out something closer to them and Cody quickly snaps a picture of what appears to be a large beast moving through the forest. He believes it to be the Maine Ridge Monster, which he explains is New England's version of Bigfoot. When he asserts they have to warn the rest of the island because monsters are bad, Heatwave leaps to the attack, and finds himself instead sprayed by a skunk. Chase consults the Lad Pioneers Handbook for a remedy, but they decide to head home first.

The rest of Cody's family doesn't believe Cody's seen the Maine Ridge Monster, despite the photograph he furnishes as proof. The next day, the team is at the charity sandwich sale where Mayor Luskey drumming up interest in his "Magic Meat" and is giving out free samples. Cody spots Huxley Prescott about to do a news report and tries to interest him in the photo of the monster, but Prescott's there to cover Doc Greene's Magnetic Insta-Grill. The demonstration goes off flawlessly, until Luskey loads some Magic Meat into the invention. The result is a missile of flaming meat that hits an overhead blimp, lighting it on fire. The team swings into action, clearing the area and dousing the blimp when it crashes, and in the aftermath, Luskey presents Graham with a case of Magic Meat. Cody tries once again to interest Luskey in his photo, and knocks one of the cans which, unnoticed by anyone, reveals a second label under Luskey's Magic Meat label.

As Cody and the Bots prepare to go out looking for the monster again, Boulder asks Graham whether the monster is likely to be bad just because it's a monster. Graham thinks that humans fear what they don't understand, like his quantum mechanics homework. The Bots and Cody are soon out monster hunting for "Ridgey" and Cody gives a potted history of the creature's sightings. They soon track down the monster attacking an old cannery. They follow him inside to find him tearing the place apart, and after he flees, the Bots have their work cut out stabilizing the building. Unfortunately Cody's camera has been smashed in the ruckus, rendering its contents useless. Despite this, the monster appears to have left behind some hair, which Cody collects.

The rest of Cody's family still isn't impressed with his story, and the hair he collected turns out to be fake. The discussion is derailed when everyone's distracted by the fact that Graham keeps eating Magic Meat, and interrupted when Luskey calls to report that someone has raided his store of the food. The storehouse is indeed cleaned out, but there's a conspicuous trail of empty cans which turn out to lead to the fire station. Cody checks the security camera footage from last night, which show the camera's being taken out by the monster. While they're still reacting to that, Graham straight up metamorphoses into the monster and flees. The team prepares to track Graham down. Time isn't on their side, as word has spread of the monster's existence, and some of the islands residents have started preparing traps for it.

At the lab, Doc Greene identifies the Magic Meat as Fo-Foo, an experimental ever-lasting food which was discontinued due to the unfortunate side effects. A store of it was in Bunker 16, located near the Mayor's mansion. The only remaining place it can be found is in the Best Left Forgotten section of the Hall of Inspiration. As the team closes in on the hall, it soon becomes apparent that there are two monsters, and they realize that the Mayor has been eating Fo-Foo as well. They reach the hall, but both monsters enter first. Unfortunately the Fo-Foo is stored near some nitroglycerin, making the situation even more dangerous. Boulder stops Heatwave from attacking the monster, and instead talks to Graham himself and manages to calm his partner down. They manage to restrain Luskey as well, but Boulder is knocked into the shelf containing the explosive, and it's only quick work from Graham that prevents an explosion.

With Graham and Luskey back to normal, Doc Greene breaks the news that there's a cure — eating vegetables. Heatwave apologizes for nearly trouncing Graham, and Cody promises to continue trying to hunt Ridgey. Out in the forest, something howls...

Notes
Animation and technical errors
Continuity errors
*The encounter at the cannery takes place at night, it's morning when Luskey reports his storehouse raided, and night again when the team reaches the end of the trail of cans?
*When Cody goes to use the ComTab to check the security cameras, he's initially holding it upside down, but between shots, it switches to right way up.

Continuity notes
*Chase first developed his deep relationship with the Lad Pioneers Handbook in "Rules and Regulations".

Transformers references
*The Mirtonian constellation was originally mentioned in Optimus Prime's Generation 2 Laser Rod bio.

Real-world references
* The Maine Ridge Monster is a real-life cryptid, and others such as Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster are mentioned throughout the course of the episode.
* Mr Talbott's name and appearance both reference the classic werewolf movie The Wolf Man, though he doesn't transform during the events of the episode.

Trivia
*Quantum mechanics seems like an odd subject for an engineering school to cover.
*It's also odd that with an island full of tech, Cody appears to be using an old fashioned camera loaded with film rather than a digital camera.

Foreign localization
