==Synopsis==

The Decepticons approach an asteroid belt in deep space, searching for a material known as [[isidrite]]. As Galvatron rants about crushing his enemies and everyone else, Ratbat finds an isidrite deposit — already being mined by the Autobots. A battle ensues, during which Galvatron spends nearly as much time bashing his own troops aside as he does firing at the Autobots. With his "help", the bemused Autobots make a clean escape aboard Sky Lynx.

Back on Chaar, Motormaster and Swindle have words with Cyclonus: either do something about Galvatron's madness, or face rebellion. A holographic image of a Quintesson appears to Cyclonus, and advises him that there are planets which specialize in repairing damaged minds, such as [[Torkulon]]. Not knowing what else to do, Cyclonus considers the idea, while the Quintessons gloat among themselves that shortly they will have several less Transformers to deal with — including the "most dangerously unpredictable of them all."

Cyclonus lies to Galvatron, informing him that the Autobots are resting on Torkulon after their most recent skirmish; the deranged leader eagerly takes the bait, flying to the planet with Cyclonus and the Sweeps. Upon landing, Galvatron threatens several alien flesh creatures, demanding that they hand over Ultra Magnus. The intelligent Torkuli arrive shortly; when Galvatron predictably refuses their orders for non-violence, they restrain him. Galvatron quickly realizes Cyclonus has deceived him. Galvatron is carried away to begin his therapy, while Cyclonus fills out a small ream of paperwork.

As the therapy proceeds, Scourge has his doubts — "This is stupid! Let's get him out of here!" Cyclonus says to at least give it a chance. The Torkuli are unsuccessful in getting Galvatron to talk about his problems, and even less successful when they have him put together external objects to repair his damaged psyche: Galvatron builds himself a blaster and tries to escape. Finally they attempt "exo-drama" where patients act out their problems but a bouncing alien screaming at Galvatron finally causes him to snap further, shouting back that "I'll give you something to scream about!!" Galvatron becomes immune to the electromagnetic restraints of the Torkuli; they throw everything they have at him, restraining him for their last resort — the Alya solution.

The chief therapist reveals that Torkulon itself is a living planet, and can manifest itself in the form of insectoid creatures that consume the damaged portions of those who cannot be helped, in effect lobotomizing the planet's victims and leaving them mindless. Cyclonus protests and demands Galvatron's release, but he and Scourge are also restrained by the Torkuli.

The Alya begin to feed on Galvatron who continues to resist: "You have no right to change what I am!" The Torkuli doctor informs him [[Megatron (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity|"You've]] already been [[Unicron|changed]]; that's the problem." Cyclonus can barely watch as his leader's mind is invaded by Torkulon — but something goes wrong. The madness of Galvatron proves to be too strong for the living planet, causing it to malfunction. In the chaos, Galvatron, Scourge and Cyclonus are released from the planet's grasp. After taking a few shots at Cyclonus for getting him in this mess, Galvatron fights to the center of the planet, having seen into its mind while it was inside his. The planet fears Galvatron's madness and destructive potential and attempts to restrain him, but Galvatron powers his way through to its living-computer core. Several cannon mode blasts render the entire planet inoperable. Galvatron informs Cyclonus he will now destroy whatever is left, and warns Cyclonus against stopping him.

After the planet is reduced to smoke and rubble, Galvatron gloats over the beauty of "devastation wrought with precision and care," seemingly just a little more sane... until Cyclonus informs Galvatron that it will take the Torkuli centuries to rebuild. Galvatron decides his work isn't done if it's going to take "only centuries", but a weary Cyclonus suggests that the Autobots might be a more pressing concern. Galvatron smiles at the prospect of killing Ultra Magnus; the Decepticons flee the planet, leaving the Torkuli at the mercy of their insane former patients.

* Perhaps the script called for Galvatron's forehead to blaze with energies, as it's been seen to do on occasion. Instead, two random spots on his temples are animated lighting up like console buttons.
* As Ratbat flaps over the horizon, his wings are layered behind the planet's limb instead of above it.
*Soundwave's only line in this episode once again lacks the trademark harmonics processed by [[Scott Brownlee]], meaning it once again sounds like [[wikipedia:Dr. Claw|Dr. Claw]]. This marks [[Roll for It|the second time]] it is known to have happened.
*The laser blasts' colors in this episode are...odd. When the Decepticons attack the Autobots on the asteroid, their blasts are yellow (usually an Autobot blast color), orange and red. Perceptor fires a blue laser blast at Galvatron, who fires blue lasers back at him! This is a trademark element seen in the ''[[G.I. Joe (team)|G.I. Joe]]'' cartoon, which is animated by the [[Toei|same company]]: The Joes' kid-friendly lasers are red while [[Cobra Commander|Cobra]] has blue kid-friendly lasers.
* After the Sweeps miss colliding with Springer, Sky Lynx is back on the ground and takes off a second time. He rather oddly leaves his lower half just standing there, rather than converting to lynx form. When he lands at the battle's end, he's once again combined with his lower portion.
* Scourge and his accompanying Sweeps are at least partially animated based on their older, "incorrect" [[character model]]s. Their heads are visible in their vehicle modes:
** when Sky Lynx grabs one of them in his claws.
** when they transform to leave Torkulon.
* As the Autobots flee, [[Swindle (G1)|Swindle]] can be seen among the damaged Sweeps, despite not being seen approaching the asteroid.
* In the wide shot of Cyclonus and company walking, they are sliding across the screen far more rapidly than the speed of their walk.
* Roger C. Carmel's inconsistency with the voice of Cyclonus starts to affect Motormaster. In this episode and "[[The Ultimate Weapon]]" (Motormaster's last speaking role in the series) his voice for Motormaster sounds weaker than before. The voice lacks most of its usual heavy flanging.
* In the second wide shot of Cyclonus speaking with the Quintesson, he's not quite standing flat on the ground.
* In the closeup of the Quintesson hologram, his mouth isn't animated as he speaks.
* As Galvatron struggles against the inhibitor blast, the Sweeps behind him are set too low on the landscape, making them look like they only come up to Galvatron's knees.
* After he's immobilized on the arena floor, a few shots show Galvatron floating in mid-air above the steps.
* An odd edit cuts off the head therapist: "We cannot allow you to interfere. Besides."
* As he yells, "Free me!" a closeup shows outer space behind Galvatron's face instead of the ground (or the purple webbing that surrounds him).
* As he says, "He'll be nothing at all!" Cyclonus's eyebrows are white instead of grey.
* The Sweep that transforms after the planetary overload is inexplicably given an energy glow as he does so.
* In a closeup shot, Galvatron has two ragged holes in his forehead, but they're not seen in any other view.
* Galvatron's emblem is missing just before he leaps into the crevasse.
* When Cyclonus says "He IS crazy," part of the Autobot symbol is on his chest.

* Despite appearing in the group approaching the asteroid, Soundwave promptly disappears and doesn't play any part in the following battle.
* Galvatron is grappling with Magnus when the Sweep offers to help; when he bashes the Sweep aside in the very next shot, Magnus is nowhere to be seen.
* A wide shot shows Galvatron, Cyclonus, and three Sweeps arriving on Torkulon. The rest of the episode shows only two Sweeps, however.

* Some allusion is made to Galvatron's former life as Megatron. While the Torkulons attempt to lobotomize the Decepticon leader, he states that they have "no right" to change what he is, to which the Torkulon doctor replies, "You have already been changed, that's the problem." On the other hand, this could also be taken to mean the change away from his saner personality from the movie. Speaking of which...
* The Torkuli diagnose Galvatron's madness as being caused by a plasma accident, presumably his plasma bath in "[[Five Faces of Darkness]]".
* This is the final appearance of [[Laserbeak (G1)|Laserbeak]] in the (US) Generation 1 cartoon continuity, and one of only two appearances in Season 3 (the first was a brief cameo in "The Five Faces of Darkness, Part 5"). No, he doesn't perch on Galvatron's shoulder.
* The last episode in which Sludge can be seen in robot mode.

* This is by far the most Decepticon-centric episode of the series; the Autobots are only onscreen for part of the first act.
* Twice in this episode (when Cyclonus takes him to Torkulon to look for the Autobots, and when leaving the planet in search of the Autobots), Galvatron says "Ultra Magnus", as if Magnus is the [[Hot Rod (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity|leader of the Autobots]].
* It is ironic that [[Motormaster (G1)|Motormaster]] is the one to declare an ultimatum of rebellion against Galvatron to Cyclonus, considering he was the first Decepticon to loyally donate Energon to help find Galvatron in "[[Five Faces of Darkness, Part 1]]".

Out on patrol, [[Cheetor (BW)|Cheetor]] and [[Tigatron]] stare in awe at "the light at the end of the world", as [[Planet Buster|the alien machine]] continues powering up in space. [[Optimus Primal/Beast Wars cartoon continuity|Optimus Primal]] makes contact and orders them to return to base. [[Rattrap (BW)|Rattrap]] is pessimistic about their chances of survival, but Primal assures him that [[Rhinox (BW)|Rhinox]] will find a way for them to survive.

The [[Bio-Dome|alien bungalow]] finishes transferring power to the moon, and in a flash, [[Vok|the aliens]] depart: "Termination sequence engaged. Return to [[Nexus Zero]]."

[[Megatron (BW)/Beast Wars cartoon continuity|Megatron]] and the [[Predacon (BW)|Predacons]] observe this from [[Darksyde (BW)|their base]]. Confronted with a machine intended to destroy them, Megatron activates a special program and scans the [[Axalon (BW)|Maximal base]], locating the spiders and [[Inferno (BW)|Inferno]] within.

[[Tarantulas (BW)|Tarantulas]] is nearly finished converting a stored [[stasis pod]] into his escape ship. [[Blackarachnia (BW)|Blackarachnia]] observes that it's a little cramped for two... but, weapon drawn, she has no intention of sharing the ride. Inferno arrives just then, blasts her, and sets Tarantulas on fire, knocking him out. Back at the Predacon base, Megatron detects the aborted flow of data to the stasis pod ship and reacts with fury.

Inferno starts to examine Tarantulas's work, but is attacked by Blackarachnia, who eludes him with a display of gymnastics before blasting him with his own gun. Picking up Tarantulas's cyber-link goggles, she forms a link with the unconscious Tarantulas to obtain the data needed to finish the pod ship—but finds that staring into the abyss of the spider's mind means that it also stares back...

The Maximals arrive at base, alarmed to find the shields down. Inside, they find Rhinox and [[Dinobot (BW)|Dinobot]] cyber-webbed to the ceiling. Optimus Primal sends Rattrap and [[Airazor (BW)|Airazor]] to bring in their unwelcome visitors.

Megatron observes the data flow resuming, just as the altered moon opens fire on the planet with a broad, blinding power ray. Optimus Primal charges the Maximal base's shields as the external temperature begins climbing and deduces that the aliens intend to ignite the [[energon]] deposits. Megatron notes that this will obliterate the entire planet, an incredibly ruthless strategy that he rather admires. He assures his panicked troops that Tarantulas will save them, albeit inadvertently.

Blackarachnia finishes the pod ship, only to be discovered and held at gunpoint by Rattrap and Airazor. With Rhinox still out of commission, Optimus Primal is beginning to despair, when Rattrap summons him to the stasis hold. Primal is impressed by the ship and immediately orders Blackarachnia to change the command codes to respond to him. He intends to fly the ship up to the [[Planet Buster]] and detonate the [[transwarp cell]] to destroy it. With little alternative, Blackarachnia complies.

Soon all is ready, and Optimus Primal has poignant parting words with his worried crew - at which point Blackarachnia comments on the Maximals' sentimentality and is knocked out by Airazor for it - before sealing the ship and launching it. Megatron scans the launch and notes with delight that Primal is flying the vessel. Primal soon reaches the Planet Buster, starts the ignition sequence, and gives the order to blow the hatch seals. But the hatch is sealed and locked! Megatron appears on his comm screen to gloat that he'd come up with exactly the same plan—only in his version of events, the ship's pilot goes "up with the ship". As the timer counts down to zero, the Maximals frantically wait for Optimus Primal to make his escape. Primal pounds on the sealed hatch, to no avail. As the Maximals wonder what is going on, Blackarachnia tells them it's too late... in Tarantulas's voice.

The transwarp cell explodes, and high above the planet, the Planet Buster is annihilated... along with the pod ship and Optimus Primal.

==Synopsis==
In a wild valley, a group of [[Protohuman|primitive hominids]] forage for food. A gargantuan snake attacks two of their number, and the protohumans are helpless to stop it...

At the ''[[Axalon (BW)|Axalon]]'', a haunted Dinobot meditates on his sword... and holds its blade ominously over his chest. But after a long moment of tension and hesitation, he casts it aside with a growl of frustration.

Rhinox has been calculating the path of the [[Transwarp wavefront|Transwarp Wave]] from the [[Planet Buster]]'s destruction—it's traveling through time at an accelerated rate, and will reach [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] in the "present", thus alerting Cybertron to their location. Optimus fears Megatron has made similar calculations, and the group realizes they need to increase their defenses.

Dinobot, still somber, runs into Rattrap, who nearly goads him into a fight over his turning the [[Golden Disk (Voyager)|Disk]] over to Megatron. Rattrap stalks off, concluding that he'd thought Dinobot was at least forthright. Dinobot is left to reflect that his past actions cannot be undone... but they "may yet be mitigated". He arms himself and heads off into the wastes.

On aerial recon, Cheetor observes Megatron and Rampage out for a stroll. They drive him off with some damage, but Cheetor calls in the sighting to Dinobot, who promises to follow up.

At [[Tarantulas's lair|his lair]], Tarantulas has captured a tasty antelope for his dinner. But as he creeps up to the struggling beast, Dinobot bursts out of the ground, holding him at gunpoint and demanding to know what information is on the Golden Disk. Tarantulas doesn't know—there are no more copies remaining, and Megatron is keeping the Disk on his person at all times. Still holding him at gunpoint, Dinobot uses Tarantulas as his unwilling ride.

The protohumans scatter and panic as Megatron flies overhead and lands. Rampage sneers that the Maximals will soon arrive from Cybertron, and that he anticipates Megatron's imminent demise. Megatron admits that's very likely... but only if history remains as it is.

Megatron explains that the Golden Disk contains images recorded in the future, including one of a nearby mountain. Megatron has Rampage destroy the mountaintop. After a moment, the image on the disk changes to suit the altered reality, to Megatron's delight. Dinobot observes all this with dawning dread: Megatron has the power to change the future.

The valley they are standing above, Megatron explains, spawned the human race. Their interference helped the Autobots win the [[Great War (G1)|Great War]], thereby allowing the Maximals to rule over the Predacons today. But Megatron has a different history in mind. Summoning the rest of his troops, he orders them to annihilate the valley and its inhabitants. With the protohumans destroyed, the human race will never have existed!

While Dinobot's back is turned, Tarantulas blasts him; Dinobot reciprocates by squashing him under a rock. Dinobot contacts Optimus, who orders him to maintain position, but Dinobot knows there is no time to wait. With his questions answered, Dinobot is ready to face his destiny.

Dinobot moves in to attack the entire Predacon force single-handed. He blasts Inferno and Blackarachnia (stabbing the former for good measure), stomps Waspinator, forces Rampage's cannon to backfire (using Waspinator's head), and pummels Quickstrike (with his bare hands), but loses his weapons, suffers considerable damage, and drains most of his energy supply. His computer warns him that he must enter [[stasis lock]] to survive... a command which Dinobot overrides.

Megatron confronts the damaged warrior, gloating over his near-total victory; when Dinobot starts to attack, Megatron reveals a protohuman captive. The hostage is enough to make Dinobot halt; Megatron rebukes him for weakness. But Dinobot is a warrior still. Forging a makeshift hammer from a rock and stick, he knocks the Disk out of Megatron's hand and frees the protohuman. With the last of his energy, he summons one final optic blast, shattering the Disk.

Nearly mad with frustration, Megatron flees as the [[Maximal]]s arrive. Rattrap gasps in horror at the sight of his comrade, while Cheetor douses the flames of the burning valley. The Maximals gather around the fallen Dinobot, but it is too late to help him. Optimus assures him that he has saved untold lives yet to come. Dinobot exchanges a final round of barbs with Rattrap; he asks them all to tell his story truthfully, both the good and the bad, and allow him to be judged accordingly. "The rest is silence." With that, the proud warrior dies. Rattrap leads the others in a salute as Dinobot's [[spark]] leaves his body, with Primal wishing it on to the Matrix, there to join Cybertron's finest.

The next morning, the Maximals hold a funeral for Dinobot. The fliers soar through the air in a [[wikipedia:missing man formation|salute]], as Rattrap and Rhinox dissolve Dinobot's remains.

At the valley, a curious protohuman (presumably the same one Dinobot rescued) finds Dinobot's hammer. He soon figures out how to use it to help gather food... and to fend off predators, such as the giant snake. The protohuman's yell of triumph echoes through the valley; and high above, a brief flicker appears in the void of space.

* In this episode, the [[Golden Disk (Voyager)|Voyager Disk]] resembles an old record (complete with being labeled "The Sounds of Earth") instead of the design used since its appearance in [[Beast Wars (Part 1)|the first episode]]. Given its origin as a record in a canister, however, it's possible that Megatron has simply taken it out of its case to test his theory of time-meddling.
* This is the last episode to have Rhinox appear in [[beast mode]]. For the rest of the series, Rhinox remains in [[robot mode]].
* As with most of Megatron's plots to alter the timeline, the plan to destroy the human race before it evolves has a critical deterministic error; if he succeeds, then the golden disk would never have been created by [[NASA]] in the future. Megatron could never have acquired it, and thus would not have the foresight to attempt to destroy the human race, and then the human race would have evolved as normal, creating the golden disk in the future... and so on and so forth. Apparently, time travel in ''Beast Wars'' isn't subject to the grandfather paradox!

* The interior of the ''Axalon'', and thus the doors to Dinobot's quarters, were made at a different scale to his character model, so he could not actually fit through the doorway. Bob Forward explained that it had to be faked by a cut.
* When Rattrap is working at the wall panel, his right forearm is backwards and remains thus until he is grandly gesturing.
* As the "camera" zooms in on Tarantulas when he stalks up to the trapped gazelle, the background remains static instead of zooming in with him.
* When Megatron is flying over the proto-human valley, his legs are missing and his body has very little detail. It's especially noticeable when he flies towards the camera and transforms into robot mode-at which point his legs appear out of nowhere.
* As the Maximals head out, Rhinox's running animation is being played unnaturally fast to keep up with the others.
* As Quickstrike approaches Dinobot, his left shin is backwards.
* At Dinobot's funeral, Rattrap is in his pre-Transmetal body. On the [[Madman Entertainment|Madman]] DVD commentary for this episode, Bob Forward could not believe how the production team (who had viewed this scene at least a hundred times trying to get everything right) did not notice the fact they used the wrong Rattrap, and yet every fan did.
**I personally thought that this was on propose, and that Ratrap being in his non-transmetal from was a form to expres redemption.

* The strategy of the Maximal cavalry seems a bit odd. Granted, arriving in ones and twos would make them more vulnerable to attack but surely there would be some advantage in sending at least Cheetor on ahead? Or are we supposed to assume that every single Maximal, from jet-powered cheetah to bog-standard rhino, has the same top speed? ==Synopsis==
In a wild valley, a group of [[Protohuman|primitive hominids]] forage for food. A gargantuan snake attacks two of their number, and the protohumans are helpless to stop it...

At the ''[[Axalon (BW)|Axalon]]'', a haunted Dinobot meditates on his sword... and holds its blade ominously over his chest. But after a long moment of tension and hesitation, he casts it aside with a growl of frustration.

Rhinox has been calculating the path of the [[Transwarp wavefront|Transwarp Wave]] from the [[Planet Buster]]'s destruction—it's traveling through time at an accelerated rate, and will reach [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] in the "present", thus alerting Cybertron to their location. Optimus fears Megatron has made similar calculations, and the group realizes they need to increase their defenses.

Dinobot, still somber, runs into Rattrap, who nearly goads him into a fight over his turning the [[Golden Disk (Voyager)|Disk]] over to Megatron. Rattrap stalks off, concluding that he'd thought Dinobot was at least forthright. Dinobot is left to reflect that his past actions cannot be undone... but they "may yet be mitigated". He arms himself and heads off into the wastes.

On aerial recon, Cheetor observes Megatron and Rampage out for a stroll. They drive him off with some damage, but Cheetor calls in the sighting to Dinobot, who promises to follow up.

At [[Tarantulas's lair|his lair]], Tarantulas has captured a tasty antelope for his dinner. But as he creeps up to the struggling beast, Dinobot bursts out of the ground, holding him at gunpoint and demanding to know what information is on the Golden Disk. Tarantulas doesn't know—there are no more copies remaining, and Megatron is keeping the Disk on his person at all times. Still holding him at gunpoint, Dinobot uses Tarantulas as his unwilling ride.

The protohumans scatter and panic as Megatron flies overhead and lands. Rampage sneers that the Maximals will soon arrive from Cybertron, and that he anticipates Megatron's imminent demise. Megatron admits that's very likely... but only if history remains as it is.

Megatron explains that the Golden Disk contains images recorded in the future, including one of a nearby mountain. Megatron has Rampage destroy the mountaintop. After a moment, the image on the disk changes to suit the altered reality, to Megatron's delight. Dinobot observes all this with dawning dread: Megatron has the power to change the future.

The valley they are standing above, Megatron explains, spawned the human race. Their interference helped the Autobots win the [[Great War (G1)|Great War]], thereby allowing the Maximals to rule over the Predacons today. But Megatron has a different history in mind. Summoning the rest of his troops, he orders them to annihilate the valley and its inhabitants. With the protohumans destroyed, the human race will never have existed!

While Dinobot's back is turned, Tarantulas blasts him; Dinobot reciprocates by squashing him under a rock. Dinobot contacts Optimus, who orders him to maintain position, but Dinobot knows there is no time to wait. With his questions answered, Dinobot is ready to face his destiny.

Dinobot moves in to attack the entire Predacon force single-handed. He blasts Inferno and Blackarachnia (stabbing the former for good measure), stomps Waspinator, forces Rampage's cannon to backfire (using Waspinator's head), and pummels Quickstrike (with his bare hands), but loses his weapons, suffers considerable damage, and drains most of his energy supply. His computer warns him that he must enter [[stasis lock]] to survive... a command which Dinobot overrides.

Megatron confronts the damaged warrior, gloating over his near-total victory; when Dinobot starts to attack, Megatron reveals a protohuman captive. The hostage is enough to make Dinobot halt; Megatron rebukes him for weakness. But Dinobot is a warrior still. Forging a makeshift hammer from a rock and stick, he knocks the Disk out of Megatron's hand and frees the protohuman. With the last of his energy, he summons one final optic blast, shattering the Disk.

Nearly mad with frustration, Megatron flees as the [[Maximal]]s arrive. Rattrap gasps in horror at the sight of his comrade, while Cheetor douses the flames of the burning valley. The Maximals gather around the fallen Dinobot, but it is too late to help him. Optimus assures him that he has saved untold lives yet to come. Dinobot exchanges a final round of barbs with Rattrap; he asks them all to tell his story truthfully, both the good and the bad, and allow him to be judged accordingly. "The rest is silence." With that, the proud warrior dies. Rattrap leads the others in a salute as Dinobot's [[spark]] leaves his body, with Primal wishing it on to the Matrix, there to join Cybertron's finest.

The next morning, the Maximals hold a funeral for Dinobot. The fliers soar through the air in a [[wikipedia:missing man formation|salute]], as Rattrap and Rhinox dissolve Dinobot's remains.

At the valley, a curious protohuman (presumably the same one Dinobot rescued) finds Dinobot's hammer. He soon figures out how to use it to help gather food... and to fend off predators, such as the giant snake. The protohuman's yell of triumph echoes through the valley; and high above, a brief flicker appears in the void of space.

Given its origin as a record in a canister, however, it's possible that Megatron has simply taken it out of its case to test his theory of time-meddling.
* This is the last episode to have Rhinox appear in [[beast mode]]. For the rest of the series, Rhinox remains in [[robot mode]].
* As with most of Megatron's plots to alter the timeline, the plan to destroy the human race before it evolves has a critical deterministic error; if he succeeds, then the golden disk would never have been created by [[NASA]] in the future. * ''Beast Wars'' co-story editor [[Bob Forward]] drew storyboards for this episode. Not only is it the only ''Beast Wars'' episode to be directed by the series's writers, but it is also the only episode to be done up in storyboards rather than being directed on-the-fly. Bob Forward worked in person with the [[Mainframe Entertainment|Mainframe]] animators for this episode.
* The original storyboards were auctioned for charity at a [[BotCon]].
* According to Bob Forward, Megatron's transformation sequence had to be reconstructed to be able to show his transformation from underneath for one shot. Previously, the animation only "worked" when seen from eye-level or above.
* During the recording of this episode, [[Scott McNeil]] was attempting to deliver Dinobot's last words, but was continually interrupted by the recording crew's laughter. He is reputed to have said while still in character, "Do you mind?! I'm trying to die here!"

While the English version relied on silence and facial expressions to get the point of the scene across (Megatron's accursed smugness and Rampage's resigned anger at being helpless to wipe the smile off his face), the Japanese dub turns it into a prattling conversation as Rampage talks about shooting Megatron right then and there and Megatron (in the close-up with his lips closed) warning him of the consequences.
::*The drama and suspense of the Predacons laying waste to the proto-human valley is completely undone by the fact that the characters comically scream their vocal tics every time they fire their weapons.

''Teletraan Alpha is a computer of the [http://http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Teletraan Teletraan series] from the [[Transformers: Devastation]] portion of the [[Generation 1]] [[continuity family]] ''

Teletraan Alpha is the first supercomputer of the Teletraan series. It had never maid a mistake. However, no Teletraan since Alpha hasn't maid a mistake because it lacked pieces of lost Golden Age technology that were part of it's core. This supercomputer was on the [[Proudstar]].
