[[Megatron (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity|Megatron]] and his crew of Decepticons used the ''Nemesis'' to chase [[Optimus Prime (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity|Optimus Prime]] and his crew of Autobots out into deep space. Eventually, the Decepticons boarded the ''Ark'', the Autobots' ship, and left the ''Nemesis'' orbiting Earth. The ''Ark'' then crashed into Earth with all the Transformers on board, deactivating them and leaving the ''Nemesis'' in orbit with [[Shockwave (G1)|Shockwave]] to watch it. {{storylink|The Transformers (issue)|The Transformers}}

''The ''Nemesis'' remained undisturbed, hidden from Earthling view with superior cloaking technology. In 2006, [[Galvatron (G1)#Galvatron I|Galvatron]] traveled back in time to the year 1986 in order to build a large laser cannon to destroy [[Unicron/Generation 1#Marvel The Transformers comics|Unicron]]. Upon completing the cannon, Galvatron tested its effectiveness on the orbiting ''Nemesis'', destroying the ship with a single blast.'' {{storylink|Target: 2006}}<!--

During the Decepticon Civil War, Shockwave's base was the ''Nemesis'', which he had parked at the bottom of the ocean 4 million years ago when he fought the [[Dinobot (G1)#Marvel The Transformers comics|Dinobots]].

{{note|The ship's identity and part of its backstory was revealed in the letters page,{{fact}} which directly conflicts the earlier UK story. Simon Furman wrote both stories, though not necessarily the letters page.}}-->
The ''Nemesis'' was designed by [[Jetfire (G1)|Skyfire]] so [[Decepticon High Command]] could ambush the Autobots after they'd destroy the oncoming [[asteroid belt]]. Skyfire himself however was barred from boarding on Shockwave's orders, the lead scientist feeling that his subordinate's talents would be best utilized if he remained on Cybertron. After a delay with the absent Shockwave, the ship launched, {{storylink|Secrets & Lies issue 1|Secrets & Lies #1}} hiding behind an asteroid so it could ambush its Autobot counterpart. Deducing Optimus Prime's trap, Shockwave remained aboard the ''Nemesis'' during the fateful attack. After the ''Ark'' crashed on Earth, Shockwave used the ship to communicate with [[Punch (G1)|Counterpunch]] before the [[Conehead]]s boarded. Needing to verify on the status of the ''Ark'', Shockwave incapacitated the three with a [[scraplet]] virus before he exited the ship. Solar cycles later, Counterpunch tried to make contact with the now overdue Shockwave, the ship rerouting the call to the scientist's hastily assembled mining station. {{storylink|Secrets & Lies issue 2|Secrets & Lies #2}} Still in orbit, the ship's environmental protocols cured the Coneheads of the scraplet virus. After they took stock of their situation, the trio blasted out of the ''Nemesis'' to find the ''Ark'' and Shockwave. {{storylink|Secrets & Lies issue 3|Secrets & Lies #3}}

Though the Coneheads found the ''Ark'', they also found a controlled Megatron channeling dangerously large amounts of [[antimatter]], quickly taking their leave. Retreating back to the ''Nemesis'', they found themselves unable to engage the propulsion system, contacting [[Straxus (G1)|Straxus]] to deliver a status report and request rescue. Straxus agreed to send rescue but only on the condition that they stayed silent about the ''Ark'', an offer that the Coneheads readily agreed to. {{storylink|Secrets & Lies issue 4|Secrets & Lies #4}}

[[File:BWNemesisPt1 Nemesisname.jpg|upright=0.85|thumb|Megs wanted his victims to know who it was that blew them up.]]
According to myth, it was responsible for shooting down the ''Ark''. It was revealed that [[Tarantulas (BW)#Beast Wars cartoon|Tarantulas]] had discovered the wreckage of the ''Nemesis'' deep under water, and had been refurbishing it for unknown purposes. While he'd finished rebuilding it and outfitting it with [[unspace|transwarp]] capabilities, Tarantulas was killed before he could use it; [[Megatron (BW)/Beast Wars cartoon continuity|Megatron]] found out about the ''Nemesis'' soon after, and commandeered it as a last ditch attempt to rewrite history and destroy the ''Ark''. {{storylink|Nemesis Part 1|Nemesis Part 1}}

Using the ''Nemesis''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s awesome power, Megatron managed to kill [[Tigerhawk#Beast Wars cartoon|Tigerhawk]], as well as [[Inferno (BW)#Beast Wars cartoon|Inferno]] and [[Quickstrike (BW)#Beast Wars cartoon|Quickstrike]] by accident when he tried to avenge himself on the [[anthropoid]] leader. He soon began to tear at [[Mount St. Hilary]], intending to obliterate the slumbering ''Ark''! In the final battle, the ''Nemesis''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s controls were severely damaged when [[Rhinox (BW)#Beast Wars cartoon|Rhinox]] crashed an [[Autobot Shuttle Omega Delta|Autobot shuttle]] ''through'' the warship. ====Tactical systems====
{{quote|I will say this for my namesake; he liked the artillery big, and plentiful.|Beast Wars Megatron on ''Nemesis''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s armaments|"[[Nemesis Part 2]]"}}
[[File:Nemesis missiles.JPG|left|upright=0.85|thumb|Skywarp, Rumble, and Thrust liked to write messages on the missiles.]]
Even for the flagship of the Decepticon space fleet, one might have considered the armament on the ''Nemesis'' to be overkill. In addition to the standard energy weapons used by the Decepticons, the vessel carried a massive amount of [[missile]]s, which could be fired slowly in a swarm of rocket propelled death. A [[tractor beam]] could pull anything beneath it up to be sliced and grounded up by rotating blades and drills. The blades were incredibly sharp, being able to slice through solid rock.

[[File:Nemesis fusion cannon.JPG|125px|thumb|"A second fusion cannon is unworkable, Megatron." "Silence, Starscream!"]]
Given that Megatron himself would have be the ship's normal commander, it should not be surprising that the primary weapon on the ''Nemesis'' was a [[fusion cannon]]. The fusion cannon was powered by its own reactor, apparently separate from the main [[Energon]] supply. The reactor needed to be at one hundred percent capacity to fire a blast, and would require a powerup time between blasts.

The ship also featured systems to enable the forced boarding of enemy ships. A pair of magnetic couplings amidships allowed for the ''Nemesis'' to forcibly establish a magnetic junction between herself and the unfortunate target, and a boarding chute could be released from within the hull to allow crew-members to cross the gap between ships. The tip of the chute could also be heated to cut through hull plating at least as thick as that used on the ''[[Ark (G1)#The Transformers cartoon|Ark]]''.

Tactically the ship had two main weaknesses. During the flight from Cybertron a heavy meteor shower required so much power to maintain the shields that ''Nemesis'' was forced to fly in the ''Ark''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s wake in order to survive. Given that a similar energy crisis shortly affected the ''Ark'' as well, it would seem that both ships were weakened by the lack of energy on Cybertron. Ergo, the ''Nemesis'' functioned best when well-fueled, otherwise her size and power requirements could make the ship a liability.

The second weakness was placing all the main tactical, command and fire-control systems in the prominent dorsal conning tower. Though the location provided an excellent viewpoint for piloting the ship and directing combat (and was presumably well armored and shielded), it also made for a compelling target, as happened in the final act of the Beast Wars when Rhinox piloted an [[Autobot Shuttle Omega Delta|Autobot shuttle]] straight into the conning tower in a kamikaze run, taking out the bridge and crippling the ship, which flew rudderless until crashing in [[South America]], where in the 20th century human excavations would unearth her. {{storylink|Nemesis Part 2}} {{storylink|Microbots}}
Built to be the flagship of [[Megatron (G1)#Dreamwave Generation One continuity|Megatron]]'s space fleet, the ''Nemesis'' was one of the largest ships created in its time. It used experimental Transwarp technology for space travel. On Cybertron the ship was mainly used as a siege engine, hoards of Decepticons would disembark to attack Autobot targets, while the ''Nemesis'' would launch a bombardment. {{storylink|Transformers: More than Meets the Eye|More Than Meets The Eye}}
===''War for Cybertron Trilogy'' cartoon===
After the Autobots had removed the [[AllSpark|Allspark]] from Cybertron, the planet's condition began to decline, Megatron redirected all resources on Cybertron, including the [[spark]]s of his prisoners and soldiers, into Project Nemesis, a massive starship with which to find the Allspark and find the Autobot ''Ark''. {{storylink|Earthrise episode 1}} {{storylink|Earthrise episode 2}}

After being informed of the ''Ark''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s location by [[Doubledealer]], {{storylink|Earthrise episode 6}} the ''Nemesis'' set out for the [[Nebulos|Nebulon]] system, finding the ''Ark'' by an active [[space bridge]] that the Autobots hoped to use to reach the Allspark. Unwilling to turn the warship's armament on the portal, Megatron ordered a boarding party prepped. {{storylink|Earthrise episode 3}}

Having slipped away from the chaos, Starscream was more than willing to use the ''Nemesis'' to destroy the ''Ark'', ordering an attack just as the Autobot craft went to warp. {{storylink|Earthrise episode 4}}

The energies had opened a portal to the [[Dead Universe]], an opening that Megatron, after kicking Starscream off the bridge, ordered the ship through. Entering the rift, the ''Nemesis'' was boarded by [[Galvatron (G1)|a mysterious Decepticon]] who guided Megatron after the ''Ark'' and how to harness the strange powers of the realm. By the time he'd left, the ''Nemesis'' had caught up with the ''Ark'' just as both ships returned to normal space, above an organic planet. {{storylink|Earthrise episode 5}}

Its weapon systems offline after the jolt of crossing realities, the ''Nemesis'' used its [[tractor beam]] to tow in the ''Ark'', ramming it. As the Decepticons boarded the ''Ark'', [[Wheeljack (G1)|Wheeljack]] took the chance to scamper over to the unguarded ''Nemesis'', seizing command of it and turning its weapons on the ''[[Fool's Fortune]]'' when it arrived. When the ''Fortune''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s warp core began to overload however, the ''Nemesis'' disconnected from the ''Ark'' and began pulling away. {{storylink|Earthrise episode 6}}

Unable to reach a safe distance in time, the ''Nemesis'' was caught in the blast and wound up crashing on the planet. {{storylink|Kingdom episode 1}} When the [[Maximal]]s detected its crash, [[Optimus Primal (BW)|Optimus Primal]] sent [[Airazor (BW)|Airazor]] to investigate, ordering her to allow herself to be captured so he could surreptitiously place tracking devices on the crew. {{storylink|Kingdom episode 2}} As she scouted the perimeter, the [[Predacon (BW)|Predacons]] approached the ship and struck an alliance with the Decepticons. {{storylink|Kingdom episode 1}} When Airazor was discovered, she was promptly imprisoned, the Autobots and Maximals setting out to rescue her. Despite the foreknowledge granted to the Decepticons and Predacons by the [[Golden Disk (Voyager)|Golden Disk]], the Autobots and Maximals were successful in their mission. {{storylink|Kingdom episode 2}}

Following the Autobots and Maximals recovering the Allspark, the ''Nemesis'' had been repaired and set out for the ''Ark'', turning its cannons on it. [[Blackarachnia (BW)|Blackarachnia]] was snuck aboard the ship, managing to hack into and disable its weapon systems. When Megatron decided to substitute his warship's firepower with his own, he was confronted by [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]] allowing enough of a delay for [[Teletraan I]] to reconfigure the ''Ark'' into a transformable body. With this newfound power, Teletraan managed to physically punch the ''Nemesis'', bringing it down. Its wreckage was subsequently abandoned when the Autobots and Maximals took the Decepticons and Predacons prisoner and returned to Cybertron. {{storylink|Kingdom episode 5}}

:Standing at 20 inches tall, ''[[Titans Return (toyline)|Titans Return]]'' Trypticon was the tallest Decepticon figure made at that point. (It was later surpassed by the [[War for Cybertron: Earthrise|Earthrise]] release of [[Scorponok (G1)/toys#War for Cybertron: Earthrise|Skorponok]].) He features several new action features, such as a spring-loaded pop-out forehead-gun and the ability to "eat" Titan Master figures, who fall down his throat into his stomach, which can be opened to retrieve them. His city mode unfolds to around three feet wide, and the "battle station" mode of his classic toy is rebranded as the ''Nemesis'', a spaceship that can fit a Deluxe-class action figure in its forward bay. The front of the ''Nemesis'' mode features sculpted faux eyes, intended to make it look like it is formed by Trypticon's head. In lieu of electronics, Trypticon comes with his old partner [[Full-Tilt (G1)#Titans Return|Full-Tilt]], who has been significantly upgraded to become a full-sized Deluxe figure in his own right, with his own Titan Master partner, [[Wipe-Out#Generations|Necro]], who is actually a new version of Trypticon's comic bud, [[Wipe-Out]]. Since his head is obviously too large to interact with Titan Masters as most Titans Return figures do, he features a slot near the back of his head where you can insert a head-mode Titan Master, causing the orange canopy on his head to open and the laser cannon to slide up.

:Early production runs of the figure had a serious [[design flaw]] in the hip ratchets: a combination of strong springs and weak plastic caused the mechanisms of the joints to destroy themselves very quickly if they were used. Cutting the springs in half or repeatedly compressing them to reduce their length appears to solve this problem on affected copies of the toy. Later production runs appear to have fixed the issue entirely. Similarly, early specimens of this figure had a chest door that would not latch closed properly and could not bear the weight of Full-Tilt; this too was fixed in later shipments. However, the tail is entirely a different matter: the gears inside can potentially make a "snap!" sound even if care is taken while posing, causing the tail to droop down.

:The large cannons on Trypticon's back can be extended; this is mentioned in the instructions, but not depicted in any of the stock photography. Originally, the paired towers on Trypticon's back were symmetrical in their design, mirroring each other. A later [[variant]] was released with a [[retool]]ed right tower, mimicking the asymmetrical tower designs on the original figure.

:On Monday 13th February 2017, the Monday before [[Toy Fair 2017]], a picture of the toy was released and swiftly withdrawn from the Transformers Instagram account.

:In fall 2018, huge quantities of Trypticons were found at outlet stores in the U.S. for a fraction of their original price. This may be a sign of poor initial sales, or a result of other retailers buying up what was supposed to be a year's worth of inventory from recently bankrupted U.S. branch of [[Toys"R"Us]].

:Like [[Fortress Maximus (G1)/toys#Generations|Fortress Maximus]], Trypticon doesn't come with his vehicular drone Brunt, though [[Brunt (G1)#War for Cybertron: Siege|a new Brunt]] was later announced a year later for the ''Siege'' toyline.
The Last Autobot is a guardian that [[Primus]] prepared, against the day that he would no longer be able to guide his creations. A stoic being, the Last Autobot awaits his destiny. ====Marvel ''The Transformers'' comics====
[[File:Lastautobottransform.jpg|left|upright=1.1|thumb]]
Billions of years ago, before going into his eon-long slumber, Primus prepared a Transformer called the Last Autobot. He gave the Last Autobot a measure of his power and set him to wait for the "chosen one."

After Primus's death, [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] appeared to be tearing itself apart and the Transformers abandoned their home world. The only remaining Transformer was [[Optimus Prime (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity|Optimus Prime]], whose soul was in the body of [[Hi-Q]].

Prime traveled, along with the [[Neo-Knights]], into the depths of Cybertron where he discovered the Last Autobot. {{storylink|The Last Autobot?}} Upon awakening, Last Autobot was surprised to find the form that the chosen one had taken, but soon realized the true nature of the warrior before him. The Last Autobot merged the two souls and rebuilt Optimus Prime into a [[Action Master|new body]]. He then revealed that Cybertron wasn't tearing itself apart, but merely reformatting itself. The Last Autobot stabilized and guided the process, allowing Cybertron to be safely reborn.

Afterwards, the Last Autobot traveled with Prime and the Neo Knights to the planet [[Klo]], finding the Autobot army having already been slaughtered by the [[Decepticon]]s there. The Last Autobot assisted in the Autobots' counter-strike—not actively, but by resurrecting all the Autobots who had fallen while Optimus barreled through the enemy soldiers.

Finally, the Autobots (and presumably the Last Autobot) returned to Cybertron, while the Decepticons exiled themselves to deep space. {{storylink|End of the Road! (US)|End of the Road!}}
For the next 21 years, the Last Autobot helped shape and steward a new age of peaceful coexistence on a revitalized Cybertron. Watching over [[Iacon (polity)|Iacon]] from on high, he remained an enigmatic but potent figure of authority. So naturally when the Decepticons started causing trouble again, they had to deal with him first—as [[Soundwave (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity|Soundwave]] hacked into the orbital defense grid and used one of the anti-asteroid satellite cannons to target and destroy the Last Autobot. {{storylink|Counterpoint}}
Soundwave's assault on the Last Autobot was later recounted by the [[Dark Matrix|Anti-Matrix entity]], who had been subtly manipulating Soundwave's behavior to reach this outcome. {{storylink|The War to End All Wars, Part 5}}
* You might find that the Last Autobot's face looks familiar. Can you guess why? That's right, he looks a lot like the Autobot symbol!
* The [[Ark_(G1)#War_for_Cybertron:_Kingdom|''War For Cybertron: Kingdom'' Autobot Ark]] has a robot mode that resembles the Last Autobot; mostly in the face, waist, and thighs.
* Despite Primus being "neutral" in the war between the Autobots and Decepticons, the Last Autobot is pretty blatantly an Autobot—most likely because he was created eons before the Decepticon movement began and all of Cybertron's inhabitants were Autobots.
* [[Simon Furman]] meant to do more with the quest for the Last Autobot, but the cancellation put an end to that. He stated at [[OTFCC 2004]] that he re-used some of his ideas in some of the ''[[War Within (comic)|War Within]]'' stories.<ref>[http://www.camphortree.net/tf/tidbits/otfcc2004.txt]: "Some of [Furman's] old Last Autobot ideas found their way into War Within stories.
'''Thundercracker''' is a Decepticon who lives on being the "master of fear" to his opponents. Cruising at Mach 6, his victims can hear him coming from 200 miles away (although HOW this is possible provided he's traveling 6 times the speed of sound is yet to be discovered), which is the way he likes it-it's not worth the effort it takes to kill them unless they're nice and terrified first. He doesn't care much about galactic conquest or the [[AllSpark]], but as long as [[Megatron (Movie)|Megatron]] allows him to indulge himself, he's happy to serve.

A fellow [[Seeker (Movie)|Seeker]] and loyal to a fault, Thundercracker is [[Starscream (Movie)|Starscream]]'s personal choice for Second in Command once he takes control. In fact, bar a lack of experience, he is in many ways comparable to Starscream in skill. However, the air commander is not simply going to hand the job over, and Thundercracker must prove himself worthy by seizing the opportunity with both servos.
In an alternate timeline where the Decepticons won the first battle on Earth, Thundercracker was the designation for a series of drone units used in the Decepticon occupation of Earth. [[Dreadwing (Movie)|Dreadwing]] and [[Starscream (Movie)|Starscream]] led a group of Thundercrackers in the annihilation of the [[NATO]] nuclear fleet. The drones were skilled enough to take out submarines with their guns whilst still in high-speed flight. {{storylink|Transformers Comic issue 10|Twilight's Last Gleaming, Part: 2}}
===IDW movie comics===
Many years ago, Thundercracker was member of [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]]'s [[Defense Force]] under the command of Protector Megatron. When a [[The Fallen|mysterious relic]] was uncovered, [[Ejoornian|aliens]] from the [[Eshems Nebula]] attacked, leveling much of the city of [[Metrotitan (ROTF)|Metrotitan]]. Thundercracker was among the forces deployed to defend their home. {{Storylink|Defiance issue 1|Defiance #1}} Following this outrageous attack on their sovereignty, Megatron used this to declare a military dictatorship and led the flight-capable soldiers in a bloody counterattack on the aliens. During the battle, Thundercracker and his comrade [[Ramjet (Movie)|Ramjet]] competed against each other in the numbers of confirmed kills. {{storylink|Defiance issue 2|Defiance #2}}

After Megatron discovered that science leader [[Optimus Prime (Movie)|Optimus]] had snooped around his quarters, he issued orders for the arrest of the scientist, but assigned Starscream and Thundercracker's team the task with assassinating those escorting Optimus. However, they underestimated the scientist's fighting prowess and paid for it when an entire ''city'' was dropped on top of their heads. They survived, and Megatron used Optimus's act of self-defense as a catalyst for declaring them traitors and forming a new faction: the Decepticons. {{storylink|Defiance issue 3|Defiance #3}} Thundercracker was present for the inspirational speech Megatron held at the dawn of this new faction. {{storylink|Foundation issue 3|Foundation #3}}
During the subsequent civil war, Thundercracker fought against [[Strongarm (Movie)|Strongarm]] and was present for the launch of the Decepticon flagship ''[[Nemesis (ROTF)|Nemesis]]''. {{Storylink|Defiance issue 4|Defiance #4}} He also became an understudy of the immoral Decepticon scientist [[Flatline (ROTF)|Flatline]]. {{storylink|Convergence chapter 4}}

Late in the war, Optimus '''Prime''' ejected the [[AllSpark]] into deep space, leaving the warriors of Cybertron to fight over the limited [[Energon]] they had left. At one point in the early 20th century, Thundercracker participated in an ambush on a team of Autobots attempting to steal resources from the Decepticon capital of [[Trypticon (Movie)|Trypticon]]. {{storylink|Rising Storm issue 2|Rising Storm #2}} He later left Cybertron to join up with the crew of [[Nemesis (Movie)|Starscream's battlecruiser]] which had been launched to search for the AllSpark, and told Starscream that [[Shockwave (Movie)|Shockwave]] was also looking for the cube. {{storylink|Convergence chapter 4}} [[Blackout (Movie)|While]] [[Barricade (Movie)|the]] [[Bonecrusher (Movie)|other]] [[Brawl (Movie)|Decepticons]] [[Wreckage (Movie)|went]] to [[Earth]] in search of the AllSpark, Thundercracker waited aboard the ship, hidden on [[Mars (planet)|Mars]] with only [[Hardtop (Movie)|Hardtop]] for company. {{storylink|The Reign of Starscream issue 2|The Reign of Starscream #2}} During this time, he explored Earth's [[moon (moon)|moon]] and discovered [[Sentinel Prime (ROTF)|Sentinel Prime]]'s [[Ark (DOTM)|ship]], where he recovered a [[pillar]]. Using his scientific knowledge gained from Flatline, he jury-rigged a [[space bridge]] back to [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]], based on the path the Ark took through space. {{storylink|Convergence chapter 4}}

When Starscream returned with the seemingly lifeless [[Frenzy (Movie)|Frenzy]], Thundercracker was there to greet his barely functioning Commander and brought him aboard for repairs. Afterwards, Starscream began to confide in his subordinate his plans for recreating [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] while Thundercracker questioned him on both his new [[alternate mode]] and the fate of the AllSpark.
Thundercracker sent in [[Swindle (Movie)|Swindle]], [[Dreadwing (Movie)|Dreadwing]], and [[Payload (Movie)|Payload]] drones to soften up the Autobots, and then entered the fray himself, shooting down [[Air Raid (Movie)|Air Raid]] and unleashing his sonic weaponry on the rest of the team. He then swiftly slew [[Camshaft (Movie)|Camshaft]] and wounded [[Cliffjumper (Movie)|Cliffjumper]], but he took a little too much time savoring the latter's fear and soon found himself at the mercy of Cliffjumper and [[Arcee (Movie)|Arcee]]. The revitalized Starscream was forced to enter the fray to save his would-be second-in-command, and he killed or critically damaged the entire Autobot squad. After berating him for his failure, Starscream took Thundercracker back on board and took the ''Nemesis'' back to Cybertron. They landed in Trypticon, where they were greeted by [[Ramjet (Movie)|Ramjet]]. Starscream ordered Thundercracker to undergo repairs. {{storylink|The Reign of Starscream issue 3|The Reign of Starscream #3}}

Thundercracker's status received a boost after Starscream's copy AllSpark failed. While Dreadwing and Ramjet turned on the Seeker leader, Stockade and Thundercracker fought at his side. As Dreadwing made his escape, Starscream gave chase, and when Thundercracker told him he would take care of Dreadwing's drones, Starscream wished "Commander" Thundercracker luck.

After Starscream and Dreadwing were transported by the space bridge, Thundercracker transformed and began to search for his lord, who, having been returned to Mars, was comforted by the fact he had some actual allies still out there. {{storylink|The Reign of Starscream issue 4|The Reign of Starscream #4}} {{storylink|The Reign of Starscream issue 5|The Reign of Starscream #5}}
Later, Thundercracker caught up to Arcee's spaceship by an undesignated planet. Eager for a chance to settle the score, Thundercracker singlehandedly massacred his way through the ship until he caught up with Arcee and gleefully tore her apart limb from limb. However, he wasn't about to let her off so easily. He brought her remains back to the outpost he commanded so that [[Flatline (ROTF)|Flatline]] could experiment on her. Flatline questioned Thundercracker whether or not her spark was cut out for his latest far-reaching, objectionable experiment. But Thundercracker insisted it would be and scolded him for squandering the outpost's supply of protoforms on some of his not-so-successful endeavors.

Once Arcee regained consciousness in a strange new body, Thundercracker dropped by to pay his respects personally, casually remarking he got 'carried away' taking her down. Even though Arcee couldn't quite remember him, Thundercracker and Flatline revealed their plan to use her spark to power three discarded protoforms to bolster Decepticon forces and helped the medic carry out the procedure. The experiment was successful...But perhaps a little too successful when all three Arcees escaped, freeing [[Skids (ROTF)|two]] [[Mudflap (ROTF)|other]] prisoners with her. Ultimately, Thundercracker had to personally intervene and subdued one of the three Arcees. However, even he was no match for the combined forces of the two other fury-driven Arcees and was forced to flee. After Flatline purged the outpost, the wounded Thundercracker bitterly watched Arcee, Skids and Mudflap escape on their shuttle. {{storylink|Tales of the Fallen issue 6|Tales of the Fallen #6}}
Thundercracker was [[Shockwave (Movie)|Shockwave]]'s right-hand man and confidante, and came to Earth alongside him and the other Decepticons. After Shockwave received a communique from [[Frenzy (Movie)|Frenzy]] informing him that the Autobots had found a lead to the location of the lost Decepticon leader [[Megatron (Movie)|Megatron]], Thundercracker airlifted his boss into Qatar so they could relay the message to [[Blackout (Movie)|Blackout]]. Shockwave decided to follow up on the lead himself, and had Thundercracker take him to the Arctic, where they battled their way through a platoon of Autobots that had already arrived and searched the ice cavern that Megatron's body had been found in. Although Megatron had already been moved by [[Sector Seven]], Shockwave discovered that Megatron had brought an army of drones to Earth with him which were currently lying dormant on Earth.

Thundercracker and Shockwave subsequently travelled south, keeping themselves hidden by making the trip submerged in a large body of water, heading for an unknown location. Thundercracker was fairly puzzled by the whole affair, as Shockwave was playing the mission objective close to his chest, but things soon became clear when he discovered that they had arrived at a rocket launch site. While Thundercracker created a distraction by attacking the facility, Shockwave slipped in and programmed the rocket with the signal code required to reactivate the drones. Once the rocket blasted off, the signal was beamed down across the world, bringing the drone army back on-line.

A platoon of drones proceeded to attack the Autobots who were on their way to [[Hoover Dam]], forcing [[Ironhide (Movie)|Ironhide]] and [[Ratchet (Movie)|Ratchet]] to break off and take care of them. The fight carried the two Autobots to the [[Smash Derby]] arena, where Thundercracker attacked them. Unfortunately for the Decepticon, the two Autobots overpowered him, and forced him to reveal the origin of the drone army, providing them with the information they needed to take the drones down. {{storylink|Transformers The Game (PSP)|Transformers The Game (PSP)}}
:This version of Thundercracker is a [[retool]] of the [[Transformers (2007 toyline)|''Transformers'']] Voyager class [[Starscream (Movie)|Starscream]] toy, with a new head. Cast mostly in light blue and grey plastic resembling ''Generation 1'' [[Thundercracker (G1)|Thundercracker's]] paint scheme, he transforms into a [[wikipedia:F-22|Lockheed-Martin F-22 Raptor]] fighter jet. As with Starscream, this vehicle mode is ''ridiculously'' inaccurate. Farcically so. Pushing the fighter along a smooth surface causes the barrels of his gigantic spring-loaded Gatling missile launchers to rotate and fire their projectiles, which can also be stored in the black flip-up braces on the launchers.
At one point in the early 20th century, Thundercracker participated in an ambush on a team of Autobots attempting to steal resources from the Decepticon capital of [[Trypticon (Movie)|Trypticon]]. {{storylink|Rising Storm issue 2|Rising Storm #2}} He later left Cybertron to join up with the crew of [[Nemesis (Movie)|Starscream's battlecruiser]] which had been launched to search for the AllSpark, and told Starscream that [[Shockwave (Movie)|Shockwave]] was also looking for the cube. {{storylink|Convergence chapter 4}} [[Blackout (Movie)|While]] [[Barricade (Movie)|the]] [[Bonecrusher (Movie)|other]] [[Brawl (Movie)|Decepticons]] [[Wreckage (Movie)|went]] to [[Earth]] in search of the AllSpark, Thundercracker waited aboard the ship, hidden on [[Mars (planet)|Mars]] with only [[Hardtop (Movie)|Hardtop]] for company. {{storylink|The Reign of Starscream issue 2|The Reign of Starscream #2}} During this time, he explored Earth's [[moon (moon)|moon]] and discovered [[Sentinel Prime (ROTF)|Sentinel Prime]]'s [[Ark (DOTM)|ship]], where he recovered a [[pillar]]. Using his scientific knowledge gained from Flatline, he jury-rigged a [[space bridge]] back to [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]], based on the path the Ark took through space. {{storylink|Convergence chapter 4}}

When Starscream returned with the seemingly lifeless [[Frenzy (Movie)|Frenzy]], Thundercracker was there to greet his barely functioning Commander and brought him aboard for repairs. Afterwards, Starscream began to confide in his subordinate his plans for recreating [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] while Thundercracker questioned him on both his new [[alternate mode]] and the fate of the AllSpark. Before they could finish their chat, Hardtop alerted them that the ship was under Autobot attack. {{storylink|The Reign of Starscream issue 2|The Reign of Starscream #2}}
[[Image:ReignofStarscream3 Camshaft dies.jpg|left|300px|thumb|"Face it Cliffjumper! You're not half the man Camshaft is!"]]

Thundercracker sent in [[Swindle (Movie)|Swindle]], [[Dreadwing (Movie)|Dreadwing]], and [[Payload (Movie)|Payload]] drones to soften up the Autobots, and then entered the fray himself, shooting down [[Air Raid (Movie)|Air Raid]] and unleashing his sonic weaponry on the rest of the team. He then swiftly slew [[Camshaft (Movie)|Camshaft]] and wounded [[Cliffjumper (Movie)|Cliffjumper]], but he took a little too much time savoring the latter's fear and soon found himself at the mercy of Cliffjumper and [[Arcee (Movie)|Arcee]]. The revitalized Starscream was forced to enter the fray to save his would-be second-in-command, and he killed or critically damaged the entire Autobot squad. After berating him for his failure, Starscream took Thundercracker back on board and took the ''Nemesis'' back to Cybertron. They landed in Trypticon, where they were greeted by [[Ramjet (Movie)|Ramjet]]. Starscream ordered Thundercracker to undergo repairs. {{storylink|The Reign of Starscream issue 3|The Reign of Starscream #3}}

After Starscream and Dreadwing were transported by the space bridge, Thundercracker transformed and began to search for his lord, who, having been returned to Mars, was comforted by the fact he had some actual allies still out there. {{storylink|The Reign of Starscream issue 4|The Reign of Starscream #4}} {{storylink|The Reign of Starscream issue 5|The Reign of Starscream #5}}

Once Arcee regained consciousness in a strange new body, Thundercracker dropped by to pay his respects personally, casually remarking he got 'carried away' taking her down. Even though Arcee couldn't quite remember him, Thundercracker and Flatline revealed their plan to use her spark to power three discarded protoforms to bolster Decepticon forces and helped the medic carry out the procedure. The experiment was successful...But perhaps a little too successful when all three Arcees escaped, freeing [[Skids (ROTF)|two]] [[Mudflap (ROTF)|other]] prisoners with her. Ultimately, Thundercracker had to personally intervene and subdued one of the three Arcees. However, even he was no match for the combined forces of the two other fury-driven Arcees and was forced to flee. After Flatline purged the outpost, the wounded Thundercracker bitterly watched Arcee, Skids and Mudflap escape on their shuttle. {{storylink|Tales of the Fallen issue 6|Tales of the Fallen #6}}
After [[Starscream (Movie)|Starscream]], high on the power [[Project Unite|Project: Unite]] granted him, attacked various human installations, [[Megatron (Movie)|Megatron]] became furious that he would so without his command. [[Soundwave (ROTF)|Soundwave]], on his behalf, sent [[Brimstone (TF 2010)|Brimstone]] and Thundercracker to intercept the rogue Decepticon. Thundercracker was shot down with little difficulty and Brimstone soon followed his teammate when Starscream transformed and plunged his claws through Brimstone's torso. {{Storylink|Unite for the Universe issue 2|On the Road of Destruction}}

A platoon of drones proceeded to attack the Autobots who were on their way to [[Hoover Dam]], forcing [[Ironhide (Movie)|Ironhide]] and [[Ratchet (Movie)|Ratchet]] to break off and take care of them. The fight carried the two Autobots to the [[Smash Derby]] arena, where Thundercracker attacked them. Unfortunately for the Decepticon, the two Autobots overpowered him, and forced him to reveal the origin of the drone army, providing them with the information they needed to take the drones down. {{storylink|Transformers The Game (PSP)|Transformers The Game (PSP)}}

:During transformation, pushing up upon the canopy fuselage piece activates Thundercracker's [[Automorph Technology|Automorphing]] gimmick which pushes panels out of the torso, wings and stabilizers. In robot mode, his projectile missiles are sculpted to resemble fingers, should users choose to keep them loaded while Thundercracker is in robot mode.
