Hey, remember when I said WFC/Prime is probably Primax? Well, I lied! After BotCon's flurry of information I think it's going to have to be its own thing. Not only because, well, it deserves to be, but because it will make our lives a lot easier and our pages a lot clearer. Back when the movie came out, we also considered making THAT G1, but declined when we realized the sheer amount of material and focus would make it impractical. The same here. Also, comments from Aaron Archer put the new continuity in perspective.

He ALSO doesn't like calling it "Prime," since that's not what he wants to call it, but it's all we got at the moment. He doesn't have a name for this new continuity (family), but is trying to think of one eventually. So, uh, in the meantime, I think we're stuck with calling it "Prime." == Help! Paradox! ==

Could someone please explain to me how War For Cybertron fits in the Prime Universe. I have a whole list of paradoxs:

*Megatron:In WFC, he was a tank, while in Prime, he was a jet. In WFC, Megatron new how to control dark energon, and used it often, but in Prime, he did not fuse it with his spark until he arrived on Earth.
*Starscream: First, his color scheme is different, in WFC, he is G1 like, but in Prime, he is movie like. Also, in The Darkness Rising Part 2, Starscream acted as if he hadn't came in contact with Dark Energon, but heard about it. However, the WFC Starscream knew exactly what Dark Energon does, and wants to learn how to weild it.
*Soundwave: Soundwave in WFC is like G1, with Laserbeak, Rumble, Frenzy, however in Prime, he is quiet, doesn' talk much,
(and even then, he just repeats recordings of what others have said) and only has 1 drone (Ratbat, i beleive his name is now.
*Ratchet:Rachet in WFC new what Drak Energon was, for it was alover Cybertron and Optimus pointed it out. In Prime, though, he says Dark Energon is so rare, its existence is doughted.
*Bumblebee:In WFC, he can talk and has a mouth, but in prime, he cannot talk. (Similar to his movie version.)
*Cliffjumper: In WFC, heis basicallya retool of Bumblebee, but in Prime, he is his own mold.
*Arcee: In WFC, she is like er G1 counterpart (and is a pink car), but the prime version is more like the movie version, and somewhat of a ninja. (And is a blue motercycle.)
*Dark Energon: In WFC, it was said it corrupts and destroys. But in Prime, it has the power to revive the dead. It is all over cybertron in WFC, and heck, even the Core of Cybertron is corrupted with it. But in Prime, it is apperently "so rare", how was it found on cybertron? Better yet in WFC, why was it being manufactured? (WARNING!!! SPOLIER ALERT!!! SPOLIERS UP AHEAD!!! STOP READING IF YOU DON'T LIKE SPOILERS!!!! WARNING!!!) and Prime, why is Megaton trying to ressurct ever dead cybertronian on Cybertron? Couldn't he have just done that in WFC?

''Transformers'' is a children's franchise, but at its core, it's a story of war. This means that the '''death''' of major and minor characters sometimes figures into the fiction.

Given the ambiguous nature of Transformer physiology, there is very little consistency regarding what is fatal to a Transformer, even within a single storyline. Damage that one Transformer might shrug off can prove fatal to another, or even to the same character in a different story. Sometimes just a laser blast or two will do the trick. Other times, characters survive being melted, crushed into cubes, and even utterly disintegrated. It does not take a terribly cynical viewer to conclude that the threshold of survival is generally determined by the needs of the plot.

The out-of-universe reasons for a character's death can vary from plot development to the arrival of [[To sell toys|new toys]]. Conveniently enough for writers who are beholden to the whims of a toy company, the majority of Transformers characters are machines, which means that death isn't necessarily permanent. Across the various universes, characters that appear to have been killed have been known to pop up alive again at a later date, or go through some sort of resurrection.

It's hard to take a war story seriously when nobody actually dies. The reality of war can be more readily portrayed when characters die. [[Generic]]s are particularly handy for this, allowing death to be shown while not removing primary characters (retail toys!) from the story.

Using her new abilities, she fixes the terminal's calibrations and gets it to activate, to the surprise of the others.

He returns to the bridge after [[Jazz (Animated)|Jazz]] tells him there's an incoming message from [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]]. [[Perceptor (Animated)|Perceptor]], [[Alpha Trion (Animated)|Alpha Trion]] and [[Cliffjumper (Animated)|Cliffjumper]] indicate that the [[Autobot High Council]] has decided to make public the news of the assault on [[Ultra Magnus (Animated)|Ultra Magnus]]. Sentinel tries to pull rank on them, since he's now technically the ''pro tempore'' [[Magnus]], and advises them to keep it quiet, but Alpha Trion makes it clear that they don't quite recognize his authority. Frustrated, Sentinel tries to pull rank on Jazz instead, commanding him to take the ship at full thrust through an energy cloud, despite any risks, as that heading will be the shortest route to Cybertron. Jazz complies despite objections, and of course, his worries prove justified: The energy strikes and flows through the ship, re-energizing [[Swindle (Animated)|Swindle]] and bringing him out of time-stasis. Swindle soon frees and re-arms the other Decepticons, even if they don't have payment up front for it, as they work for [[Megatron (Animated)|Megatron]], his best customer. With the alarms muted by Swindle's [[Sonic Jammer 3000]], the Decepticons strike at the ship's bridge just after the ship emerges from the energy cloud. Swindle quickly takes out [[Jetfire (Animated)|Jetfire]] and [[Jetstorm (Animated)|Jetstorm]] with a demo of the SJ3K's other function, a [[stasis suspension ray]]. Sentinel and Jazz put up a fight, but to little avail, and finally, Sentinel sends a brief, encrypted call for help to his old buddy, Optimus Prime (as he's too embarrassed to call Cybertron). Shortly afterward, [[Lugnut]] strikes him down, but Swindle convinces the massive Decepticon to spare their prisoners' lives: Not only could selling off their [[Cybertron Elite Guard|Elite Guard]] parts earn a fortune, but they could be a bargaining chip in finding Megatron.

On Earth, Optimus receives Sentinel's message, which decrypts to "[[Broken Lance]]", a coded call for help that Sentinel used with him back in their [[Autobot Academy|academy]] days. Bulkhead notes the space bridge terminal detects an unusual transwarp field aboard the Elite Guard's ship. With Sari's help, the terminal locks onto the field, providing stable coordinates for an arrival point. Rather than attack against overwhelming odds and attempt to free Sentinel and the others, Optimus takes off down the ship's corridors to better his situation. Most of the Decepticons give pursuit, with Lugnut ordering Swindle to watch the prisoners in the meantime. Taking an elevator to the ship's energon storage chamber, Optimus perforates a group of energon cubes with his axe, destabilizing them just enough. He then puts them in the elevator car and slices its cables, so it explodes near the bottom just as the Decepticons pry open the doors. Slightly charred from the backblast, Optimus enters one of the service ducts and works his way back to the brig area, grumbling as he does.

Meanwhile, Swindle's greed is still holding sway, and the arms dealer leaves his prisoners unguarded so he can raid the ship's stores. Prime arrives almost immediately afterward and frees his fellow Autobots, earning no gratitude from the power-tripping Sentinel. The Decepticons then return, so Optimus tells Jazz to rewire the decontamination unit on the bridge into a freezing chamber to trap them, his Autobot emblem blinking all the while. Optimus severs a steam duct, giving Jazz cover to escape, but then Lugnut punches a hole in the hull, sending everyone else in the brig out into space.

The Jet Twins prove far more capable in space combat than anticipated, giving the Decepticons a fair amount of trouble. Noting their predicament through a porthole in the storage depot, Swindle metaphorically shrugs and goes back to looting. Meanwhile, despite Sentinel's continued objections and struggling, Optimus uses him as a living spiked slingshot against Lugnut. Sentinel insists he be obeyed as leader, but this only prompts [[Blitzwing (Animated)|Blitzwing]] to freeze him and hold him hostage. Sentinel demands they don't surrender, but Optimus convinces the Jet Twins to follow his lead instead, and they capitulate.

On the bridge, Blitzwing, [[Sunstorm (Animated)|Sunstorm]], and the [[Liar Starscream]] put Sentinel, Optimus and the Jet Twins in the decontamination unit with Jazz. Blitzwing sneers that Optimus shouldn't have blabbed his plan where all could hear it, as now the Autobots will suffer freezing instead. However, when he activates the chamber, the freezing tubes reverse direction, icing all the Decepticons on the bridge and leaving the Autobots safe. Optimus explains to a surprised Sentinel that back in the brig, he'd used his blinking emblem to send a different message to Jazz in Cybertronian [[cybertronian optical code|optical code]]. They all pause as they hear a roar of engines, courtesy of a loot-filled Swindle taking off in one of the ship's shuttles. As the Decepticons are imprisoned again, Sentinel offers Optimus the Elite Guard spot that will be opening when Sentinel becomes Magnus, but Prime demurs, as he's still got plenty to do on Earth.

At [[Sumdac Tower]], Bulkhead frets as Swindle's transwarp signal moves too far away to warp Optimus back. Sari offers to help fix it, but her father points out it won't be necessary, as the Elite Guard ship has come to them. Optimus steps off the ship, and he and Sentinel trade salutes before it departs.

On Cybertron, Sentinel has a victory parade, displaying his prisoners to a cheering crowd and vowing to hunt down and offline [[Shockwave (Animated)|Shockwave]] and any other Decepticon if they accept him as the new Magnus. Perceptor and Alpha Trion exchange dubious glances, but say nothing.

At [[Hoover Dam]], [[Starscream (Movie)|Starscream]] is cajoled and taunted by [[Megatron (Movie)|Megatron's spirit]] into placing an [[All Spark|All Spark fragment]] and the interface module into Megatron's [[Transformers Comic issue 13|corpse]]. After doing so, Starscream finds his mind is his own again... and he realises just what he's done!

In [[Philadelphia]], [[Pennsylvania]], the [[Decepticon Civil War]] is reaching its conclusion! [[Stockade (Movie)|Stockade]], [[Fracture]], and their [[drones]] tear through [[Blackout (Movie)|Blackout's]] forces, taking over the drones they don't destroy. Blackout rejects Stockade's offer to surrender and sics [[Scorponok (Movie)|Scorponok]] on him... and gets Scorponok thrown back at him. [[Overcast (Movie)|Overcast]] "tidies up" the beaten foes, while Stockade states the next objective is to seize the [[Decepticon Heartland]], not that Starscream will be a challenge. And when Overcast asks if they'll really just hand [[Earth]] back at the end of it, Stockade hints they may ''not''...

Southwest of Lynchburg, [[Virginia]], [[Mikaela Banes]] is being called to an early morning meeting with [[Tom Banachek]] at a diner. Tom reveals that two weeks ago, he was covertly contacted by [[Ironhide (Movie)|Ironhide]] to be part of their contigency plan for ''when'' [[Theodore Allen]] was used against them. Tom was given the means to 'see' Decepticon cerebro-strips and see who in the government was a Decepticon puppet, and has finally identified everyone from the President on down. He then reveals to a stunned Mikaela that the Autobots faked their deaths so they could operate more easily... just as four very familiar driverless vehicles turn up...

As the sun rises on [[Savannah]], the New Decepticons find absolutely no one is home. Fracture wonders if Starscream just up and ran, but Stockade knows things are never ''that'' easy... and then, hovering like a vast predatory bird, ''Megatron'' blitzes them and makes a landing!

The Autobots rocket down the interstate to Georgia, and [[Bumblebee (Movie)|Bumblebee]] finds Mikaela's a wee bit pissed at him for faking his death without telling her, believing they didn't trust her not to be a puppet again. He apologetically explains ''how'' they faked their deaths—launching a jamming pulse that disabled all video feeds long enough to cloak their shuttle and ''de''cloak a ''second'' shuttle to get hit by the Patriot missile—but she's still angry. After all they'd been through, didn't she deserve better?

As the Autobots arrive, Stockade and Megatron are duking it out, Megatron taking every [[Nucleon]]-fueled blow and striking back, while the other New Decepticons are strafed by a silent Starscream. [[Optimus Prime (Movie)|Optimus]] gets confirmation from <strike>Strongarm</strike> Ironhide that [[Evac (Movie)|Evac]] reports "go" on [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] and all regional strike teams are ready... and then orders the Autobots to strike! The Autobots begin shooting strange attachments onto the Decepticon's backs, while Optimus distracts Megatron with ''violence''. Stockade recognises the devices and protests to [[Strongarm (Movie)|Strongarm]] that they had a deal—to which the Autobot replies Stockade was merrily ''altering'' that deal, so he can be part of the ''new'' one...

...and suddenly ''every'' Decepticon on Earth is forcibly teleported to Cybertron! The Autobots had spent the last fortnight rigging up the teleportation equipment that [[Unicron]] had installed into Cybertron so that they could 'tag' and transport people there... and then rig the planet itself to teleport! The assembly will burn out and there's no spares on Cybertron, leaving the Decepticons all trapped on a dead world in the far reaches of space...

Mikaela asks if this means the Autobots are trapped on Earth, but Bumblebee replies there are worse fates. Tom and Optimus note there's still a long way to go, with Decepticon puppets to liberate and drones to decommission, but the war is now over.

And Mikaela gets into Bumblebee and drives off to explore this brave new world...

[[Bumblebee (Animated)|Bumblebee]] tears through [[Detroit]], not noticing as [[Blackarachnia (Animated)|Blackarachnia]] tags him with a transmitter, and reaches the Autobot base in ''just'' under three minutes... to deliver a pizza to a happy [[Sari Sumdac|Sari]]. As Bumblebee bigs up his speed, [[Prowl (Animated)|Prowl]] points he may be fast but he's also reckless and keeps going through red lights—taking shortcuts is a weakness, and Prowl bets even ''he'' could take Bumblebeee in a fair contest. Bumblebee thinks those are fightin' words, and Sari steps in to propose the solution—a race!

Blackarachnia, [[Lugnut]] and [[Blitzwing (Animated)|Blitzwing]], meanwhile, are listening in thanks to Blackarachnia's transmitter. Lugnut wonders if they shouldn't just call in [[Megatron (Animated)|Megatron]] now they know where the Autobots will be, but Blackarachnia points out the Autobots always ''beat'' Megatron because of the '''Power of Teamwork (TM)'''. But if they seperate an Autobot from the others, such as during a race, then he'd be vulnerable...

The next day, Sari introduces the Autobot's to [[Crazy Coyote Canyon]], one of her dad's test sites, and location of the race. She's drawn an adorable little map (with a little drawing of Prowl marked "grumpy") and identifies the mazes, rock falls and caverns along the race track, as well as the fact radio reception is nil. [[Bulkhead (Animated)|Bulkhead]] eagerly asks if he can race too, to Prowl's confusion and Bumblebee's mocking, but [[Optimus Prime (Animated)|Daddy Optimus]] says ''anyone'' can race if they want to. (You can see how the strip'll end, can't you.)

The race begins, with Bumblebee and Prowl tearing off while Bulkhead, having ''forgotten to transform'', eats their dust. The Decepticons lie in wait, Lugnut whining at the idea he won't get to smash the 'bots, while Prowl and Bumblebee taunt each other. 'bee even ''drives backwards'' just to show up Prowl... who just raises his front wheel and ''drives over'' him. Now far in the lead, Prowl muses reckless actions lead to sticky situations... as he drives into Blackarachnia's web cos he's not looking where he's going.

Bumblebee, figuring Prowl's cheating and gone into a cave to use a shortcut, 'follows' him in and finds his team-mate a Decepticon prisoner! Unable to call for help, and with a happy Lugnut asking if he can hit the captive with a stick like a pinata, Bumblebee seems finished... until he sits down on the transmitter and finally notices it. That gives him an idea—and just as Lugnut finds a ''stalagmite'' to use as a stick, Bumblebee speeds in, slaps him on the butt, and runs out again.

Blitzwing and Lugnut follow, tracking the transmittter, and get hopelessly lost while Bumblebee (having looked at Sari's map) is able to double-back, much to Blackarachnia's confusion. As the other Cons come back, Bumblebee frees Prowl and both agree to do this the reckless way—driving up the cave wall towards the roof, making themselves an easy target... and the Decepticons realise too late that firing on the ceiling will cause it to cave in on them! The Autobots then head out to continue their race, only to find, yep, Bulkhead got to the finish while they were occupied. Bumblebee graciously accepts defeat, while Blackarachnia not-so-graciously screams in anger when she realises her transmitter's on Lugnut's rump...

After the highly public failure of Black's test subject, [[Colossus Rhodes]], Porter C. Powell spoke to Black via the video link in his lab. When Black tried to sell Powell on his latest innovation (a super-corrosive derived from [[Autobot]] [[mech fluid]] and Black's own steroids) and the necessity of a new human test subject, Powell informed him that Black's investors were unwilling to sink any more money into his mad science—and furthermore, that even the prison system wouldn't provide Black with a new guinea pig. Regretfully, Powell ended both the call and his business relationship with Black. {{storylink|Total Meltdown}}

Powell was among the crowd who watched [[Isaac Sumdac]] unveil his new improved [[Dinobot (Animated)|Dinobots]] at [[Dino Drive]]. {{storylink|Blast from the Past}}

After Isaac Sumdac was abducted by [[Megatron (Animated)|Megatron]], [[Sari Sumdac|Sari]] took over leadership of the company. Powell disapproved of having a mere child responsible for the business, especially since she was diverting corporate funds to the search for her father. Powell wouldn't have to deal with her for very long, however: He was unable to discover any legal documents referring to a "Sari Sumdac"—no will, birth certificate, adoption papers, Social Security Number, anything. Not only was there no proof she was Sumdac's daughter, from a bureaucratic standpoint, there was no proof she existed. Powell was installed as new CEO of Sumdac Systems, and one of his early decisions was to lock Sari out of Isaac's lab and offices. He then rather smugly informed Sari of her "lack of existence". Totally unsympathetic to Sari's circumstances, Powell evicted her from Sumdac Tower, confiscated [[Tutor Bot]] and [[Sparkplug (robot dog)|Sparkplug]], and gave her bedroom to [[Headmaster (Animated)|Henry Masterson]]. Powell had invested considerable effort in clearing up that whole [[Headmaster (episode)|attempted nuclear terrorism thing]] and wanted to use Masterson's skills to gain access to lucrative [[United States Military|military]] contracts that had previously been ruled out by Isaac Sumdac's silly, unprofitable conscience. As part of his new research and development, Masterson body-jacked [[Sentinel Prime (Animated)|Sentinel Prime]], and Powell helped him out, preventing [[Optimus Prime (Animated)|Optimus Prime]] from searching the tower for evidence and trying to conceal Masterson from detection. But when Powell phoned Masterson to warn him the Autobots were looking for him, an eavesdropping Optimus traced the call and was able to apprehend the nerdy ne'er-do-well. But Powell wasn't about to let a corporate asset go to jail; even as [[Captain Fanzone]] was slapping the cuffs on Masterson, Powell drove up in his limo to announce that no real crimes had been committed (the damaged property belonged to Sumdac Systems, and the alien robots had no legal rights), and further that the alleged crime had occurred in international waters and thus outside Fanzone's jurisdiction. {{storylink|The Return of the Headmaster}}

''Powell decided to cash in on the Autobots' popularity. He took the [[Powell Motorworks]] assault vehicle that [[Bulkhead (Animated)|Bulkhead]] had chosen for his [[alternate mode]] and re-marketed it as a family-friendly SUV named "The [[Bulkhead (vehicle)|Bulkhead]]." When the real Bulkhead complained about this inappropriate use of his name and likeness, Powell retorted that Bulkhead himself had "borrowed" the likeness of the pre-existing PMW vehicle and threatened to sue him. Bulkhead then implored audiences not to buy the impractically huge armored cars, but Powell easily re-edited his requests into a glowing endorsement. Soon Detroit was jammed with "Bulkheads," with even [[Angry Archer|some of]] the [[Professor Princess|super-villain population]] having their own customized models. As a publicity stunt, Powell then announced a televised "[[Pimp My Bulkhead]]" contest in which citizens could show off their most creative modifications to the giant vehicles, with Powell himself judging the winner of course. As Powell was judging a particularly garish [[redeco|repainted specimen]] (which happened to have Powel's face plastered on its side), it suddenly drove off with him inside it, careening wildly. Powell pleaded with the silent driver to release him or at least to slow down, sputtering that the vans were terrible road hazards—prone to tipping over and catching fire and generally "unsafe at any speed." Which, of course, was just what the ''real'' driver had been waiting to hear; the van was Bulkhead himself, with the driver's seat being occupied by an [[automaton]]. During these delays, his research team showed him that they'd retooled the nanomachines that used to produce rampaging giant insects, {{storylink|Transform and Roll Out!}} and that now they were more useful for eating garbage. As a bonus, they cost a fraction of what the materials for the trashbots went for. Powell realized that this, combined with charging the city more, meant he was soon to be even more fabulously wealthy.

Unfortunately this was all derailed when the armored car containing the sample was cracked open by the ever-affable [[Wreck-Gar (Animated)|Wreck-Gar]]. Powell hurried to tell Edsel that the demonstration had to be called off, only to be cut off by the sighting of a garbage scow with a rapidly decreasing load. Smugly claiming credit, he was about to nail that new contract when it was further revealed that the garbage scow ''itself'' was rapidly decreasing as the nanobots devoured it. After [[Ratchet (Animated)|Ratchet]] managed to avert disaster, the mayor steadfastly refused to renew the contract—until the curmudgeonly Autobot picked up both parties and gave them a good shake and a yell, accompanied with the threat of tossing them in the water. Powell went so far as to rename Sumdac Tower into Powell Tower. Offended, Sari reprogrammed the Reception Bot into saying the original name again, as well as informing visitors that Powell was a booger-head. {{storylink|SUV: Society of Ultimate Villainy}}

As it turns out, one of Powell's main concerns in "Powell Tower" was keeping tabs on his former business partner, Prometheus "Meltdown" Black, in prison. Thus, he was rather unnerved when, in response to Sari and Bumblebee asking him to provide information on anything that would incriminate Powell, Meltdown said that it would be useless, but if they freed him, he'd make all their problems "melt away". (Read: liquid Powell.) Although Sari and Bumblebee clearly thought that was taking things too far, Powell still considered this bad news, so much so that when the [[Dinobots (Animated)|Dinobots]] broke Meltdown out, he showed the tape to Fanzone, trying to implicate Bumblebee. Between the fact that Powell had illegally hacked into the prison's security cameras and his earlier arrogance while freeing Headmaster, Fanzone wasn't inclined to take Powell seriously.

Powell's frustrations rose even further when Optimus and [[Grimlock (Animated)|Grimlock]] charged into Powell Tower to learn the whereabouts of Meltdown's [[genetic modifier]]. When Powell refused to divulge the whereabouts of his private property, he found himself swallowed by Grimlock. (Step one in his karmic debt payment, ''many'' more to go.) Terrified, he agreed to lead the Autobots there and was duly spit back out, covered in the Dinobot equivalent of saliva...nasty, purple saliva. (Step two performed, ''still'' many more to go.) After Optimus took away the modifier (and an accident named Grimlock happened to several of Meltdown's leftover experiments), Powell contacted Fanzone about the "robbery". However, Optimus returned the modifier in the end...ruined by contact with Meltdown. Enraged, Powell demanded that Fanzone arrest Optimus for destroying private property. Fanzone retaliated by saying he was more inclined to arrest ''Powell'' for being a public nuisance. Fanzone and the Autobots then left Powell to stew in his own pompous indignation. {{storylink|Black Friday (episode)|Black Friday}}

Pompous indignation turned to terror when Sari Sumdac returned to Powell Tower with the only person who could threaten Powell's authority: Isaac Sumdac himself. Realizing his position was threatened, Powell tried to smooth things over by saying how happy he was that Isaac was alive. Masterson, however, had just been robbed of his Headmaster unit by the Decepticons, and made several threats to the Autobots, while Powell stated that there was little difference between the Autobots and the Decepticons. Powell was quickly reminded of those differences when Optimus Prime picked up Masterson and asked for clarification on his threats. Furious over his actions while running the company, Isaac immediately terminated Porter C. Powell and Henry Masterson's employment at Sumdac Systems. Masterson made a cocky comment about refusing to do what "some old man and his little daughter" told them, and Powell expressed further doubts about Sari's parentage. At which point a furious Sari somehow blasted the two into an elevator, and out of Sumdac Tower. {{storylink|TransWarped}}

Down but not out, Powell had acquired the designs for the [[Sound Wave]] toy [[Sound and Fury|that Isaac had made for Sari]] and patented them. Powell released the Sound Wave toys for the [[Christmas]] season, despite Isaac Sumdac's protests, at the low, ''low'' price of only $19.99. The fact that the Sound Wave toys were under the control of [[Soundwave (Animated)|the original]] would in no way blow up in his face. {{storylink|Human Error, Part I}}

And then it totally, unexpectedly blew up in his face when Soundwave instructed his toy replicas to hypnotize the humans of Detroit, so that they would not interfere with Soundwave's plans to reprogram the Autobots. Fortunately for Detroit's humans, Optimus Prime managed to defeat Soundwave and end his mind control signals. Unfortunately for Powell, consumers began returning the Sound Waves en masse over the hypnosis incident. Powell lamented that the resulting refunds would leave him financially ruined. ==Synopsis==
Outside the plant, the [[Autobot]]s observe the [[Lugnut Supreme]]s hovering above Detroit. [[Bumblebee (Animated)|Bumblebee]] wonders what they are, and [[Ratchet (Animated)|Ratchet]] assumes that [[Megatron (Animated)|Megatron]] repurposed [[Starscream (Animated)|Starscream]]'s [[cloning]] technology to make clones of [[Omega Supreme (Animated)|Omega Supreme]]. Aboard the main Lugnut Supreme, Megatron decides to start the field test with [[Sumdac Tower]]. Lugnut pontificates on the greatness of Megatron rather than getting it done, leading the annoyed Decepticon leader to ask [[Shockwave (Animated)|Shockwave]] if he can control the clones directly yet. However, Shockwave is still working on finding the necessary security patches from [[Arcee (Animated)|Arcee]]'s memory banks, and tells Megatron in an amused tone that he'll have to filter all orders for the clones through Lugnut.

In Detroit, the Lugnuts turn and open fire on Sumdac Tower. Fortunately, the force field goes up and protects the building. Unfortunately, it will only last for so long. Ratchet says that they need to launch an aerial assault with the [[Magnus Hammer]], but [[Optimus Prime (Animated)|Optimus Prime]] is a little unsure. [[Prowl (Animated)|Prowl]] then reinforces his leader's faltering confidence by promising to accompany him. Sari then offers to join them, and cuts off Optimus's "No, Sari—" with a rant about how she's always being told it's "too dangerous" for her to help, leaving her embarrassed when Prime says he was going to tell her to help protect the humans. He orders the others to help Sari in this, while he and Prowl take to the skies. Megatron initially assumes that the figure bearing the Magnus Hammer is [[Ultra Magnus (Animated)|Ultra Magnus]] himself, and is quite relieved when he sees it's only Optimus. The two airborne Autobots manage to avoid the missiles sent in their direction, but Prime's opening shot with the Magnus Hammer misses the Lugnuts. Ratchet says that he's receiving Omega's signal from the moon, and suggests they transwarp to the moon and sever Megatron's connection. Optimus approves, and orders him to take Bumblebee and [[Bulkhead (Animated)|Bulkhead]] with him. Prowl says that they need to bring the Lugnuts down all at once, and Optimus uses the Magnus Hammer to cause a tornado which sends the Lugnuts crashing toward [[Dinobot Island (Animated)|Dinobot Island]]. Megatron, livid, tells Lugnut to abort the field test, but Lugnut is forced to inform him that Prime's attack managed to damage the one Megatron was in and disable the flight mechanisms of the other two. Furious, Megatron tells him to have the clones destroy everything except Megatron himself, then leaves his clone and assumes his [[alternate mode|flight mode]], intending to take a more direct role.

At Sumdac Tower, Ratchet fires up the space bridge, ready to take Bumblebee and Bulkhead to retrieve Arcee and Omega Supreme. [[Sari Sumdac|Sari]] decides to go with them, telling [[Isaac Sumdac]] that she needs to go. Transforming to her full robot mode, she jumps through the portal with the Autobots. On the moon, Starscream reassembles himself and immediately takes off for Earth, saying he has a surprise for Megatron. The Autobots transwarp in mere moments after he leaves, as Sari is momentarily stunned just by being on the Moon, while the Autobots are more surprised by the lack of [[Decepticon]]s around. Over by Omega Supreme, Ratchet sees Arcee and runs to her. Unfortunately, she's reverted to her fugue Teacher Bot state. Worse, she's bait: Shockwave fires at them, barely missing them. Bumblebee and Bulkhead take on Shockwave, while Ratchet and Sari take Arcee inside Omega Supreme. Both bots are taken down, but Bulkhead manages to recover and charge Shockwave, knocking off his cannon. Shockwave briefly assumes his Longarm form and pleads for mercy, but Bulkhead destroys his cannon with his wrecking ball. Inside Omega Supreme, Ratchet discovers the damage to Arcee's processor is quite extensive, and any attempts to repair her could take her offline. Sari scans the malfunctioning intelbot and gives Ratchet instructions on how to use his EMP generator to restore her memory from her internal backups.

Over Detroit, Prime orders Prowl to break off from their fight with Megatron, find Jazz and try to slow the clones down. As he grapples with the Decepticon leader, he snaps and loudly declares his name after being patronisingly called "Autobot" by Megatron yet again.

In Omega Supreme, Ratchet manages to bring Arcee fully online, her memory back at the time it was when [[Lockdown]] captured them. Ratchet promises that they'll catch up in time, but right now they need her [[activation code]]s to retake control of Omega Supreme. Bumblebee and Bulkhead enter and say they've found something Sari needs to see.

Back on Earth, on the ground, Prowl and Jazz try to get inside the Lugnut Supremes, but their armor is too strong to cut through, and Jazz radios Prime with news of their failure. Optimus tells them that the only thing powerful enough to shield the city is the AllSpark, but it's scattered everywhere. In return, flushed by his recent success in reconstituting a fragment, Prowl theorizes that they can use [[processor-over-matter]] to make the AllSpark whole again. Prime is doubtful, but Prowl is adamant, and flies his fellow ninjabot to Sumdac Tower.

As Ratchet and Arcee make their way to Omega Supreme's head, Sari is brought before the protoforms, and—believing this to be where she came from—gets a moment of closure from the experience. Outside, Ratchet uses his magnets to keep Arcee above Omega's face and the fembot uploads the codes, severing Lugnut's control over him. Omega Supreme ejects the massive Decepticon and heads for Earth once Sari and all the Autobots are aboard, with the three remaining protoforms.

On Earth, with Lugnut no longer guiding them, the clones briefly shut down... then reactivate with Starscream's face. The treacherous Decepticon tells Megatron that he planted bombs in the clones, aiming to destroy him and everything within a hundred-mile radius. Unable to remove the bombs inside, Megatron decides to instead destroy Optimus Prime, using the Autobot captain's name for the very first time. At Sumdac Tower, the force field fails much to Isaac Sumdac's distress, and Prowl and Jazz direct him to the building's bomb shelter, before they begin using processor-over-matter to collecting AllSpark fragments. Starscream arrives to observe the death of Megatron, but his AllSpark fragment suddenly begins pulling him toward the AllSpark being formed by Jazz and Prowl. Starscream panics and tries to destroy the two ninja-bots, but his AllSpark fragment is pulled from his head, and Starscream falls to street, dead.

Omega Supreme arrives and begins fighting the two clones. He is able to defeat one and disarm its bomb, but the other knocks him aside and forces him back to ship mode. At Sumdac Tower, Jazz says that they don't have enough Spark to shield the city, but neither he nor Prowl can pull in any more AllSpark fragments. Prowl recognizes that there is one other way to make the AllSpark chunk powerful enough, and levitates towards it. Jazz recognizes what he intends to do, and screams that they can find another way, but Prowl merely turns to give him a reassuring smile. Suddenly, the AllSpark releases a surge of energy, and Prowl falls back to the ground. Jazz catches his body, but it is too late: Prowl merged his [[spark]] with the AllSpark to give them the energy necessary to make the force field work. A field soon forms around the remaining clone, but Megatron and Optimus Prime are trapped within it. Megatron gloats that he will take Optimus with him, but a figure of light in Prowl's image removes Optimus from the force field. Megatron roars in anger as the clone detonates, and everything goes white...

Waking up, Optimus sees his fellow bots around him. They declare that they won, and begin to celebrate... until Jazz comes carrying Prowl's shell. Optimus moves toward his fallen comrade, but is instead knocked backwards by a purple blast. Megatron still functions! Ratchet uses his magnets to throw the Magnus Hammer to Optimus. In a rage, Optimus beats Megatron down. Lying helpless, Megatron urges Optimus to finish him, and Optimus brings the Magnus Hammer down...on Megatron's fusion cannon. Optimus says that killing Megatron is the easy way out, and the Decepticon leader doesn't deserve that. Instead, he places [[stasis cuffs]] on him.

On [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]], the Autobots return is hailed by a cheering crowd (except for [[Sentinel Prime (Animated)|Sentinel Prime]], who glowers), with Optimus carrying the Magnus Hammer, the large piece of the AllSpark around his neck, and Ratchet, Bumblebee, Bulkhead, and Jazz bearing Prowl's body. In addition, they bring with them the three rescued protoforms, and Megatron, Lugnut, and Shockwave as prisoners. Finally, to top it off, Omega Supreme transforms from ship mode, and this sends the crowd into another round of cheering, hailing Optimus Prime and his crew as the heroes they have proven themselves to be.

*There seems to be a scene missing involving Lugnut - when Omega Supreme discards him onto the lunar surface and flies to Earth, he is neither captured nor incapacitated, and it's been shown repeatedly that Decepticons (including Starscream in this episode and Lugnut himself in "[[Lost and Found (episode)|Lost and Found]]") are capable of making ''at least'' the Moon-Earth trip under their own power, where [[Slipstream (Animated)|Starscream's fembot clone]] has apparently evaded detection for the whole of S3. His off-screen capture is therefore noteworthy.

*Arcee didn't join the other Autobots on their victory/funeral parade at the end.

* It is revealed during the events of this episode, that while in her robot mode, Sari doesn't need an external oxygen supply.

Since it has been shown that all the protoforms Lockdown stole were blanks, it's unlikely she came from that batch.
**Meltdown was last shown apparently reconstituting himself at the end of "[[Black Friday (episode)|Black Friday]]", and has not been seen since.
**Wreck-Gar and all three Dinobots are not present at the end of the episode, and presumably are still on Earth. Although it could be speculated that they stayed there by choice, one must wonder what kind of measures that Optimus and company took to prevent said bots from any more disastrous encounters with the populace of Earth.

'''The One''' is an extradimensional entity from before time, in whom Order and Chaos exist in perfect harmony. It created [[Unicron]] (boo!), then cut him in half to make [[Primus]] (yay!). The [[Vok]] claim to be guardians of The One and followers of its will. They also seem to think that either it created the multiverse, or it ''is'' the multiverse. Details are fuzzy.

The Vok were the first known source of information about The One, whom they tended to describe in relation to themselves, or vice-versa. {{note|Capitalization of Vok quotes is at editor's discretion; their lines were printed in all caps.}}

The enemy in question at the time seemed to be the resurrected [[Tarantulas]], who in fact had captured the power of [[wikipedia:Tuvok|two Vok]] and was preparing to wreak havoc upon prehistoric, post-[[Beast Wars (event)|Beast Wars]] [[Earth]]. The Vok sought to protect "the sleepers," by whom they meant the stasis-locked [[Autobot|Autobots]] and [[Decepticon|Decepticons]] aboard the [[Ark (G1)|''Ark'']]. Later, they explained themselves again to their creation, [[Primal Prime]]:

That time, they seemed to be referring to The One as not the creator, but the creation. Notably, they never referred to Primus by name (nor Unicron, for that matter), though they did fear "the enemy of all creation," to whom Tarantulas was attempting to deliver the [[Matrix of Leadership]]. {{storylink|Primeval Dawn Part 3}} As Tarantulas would later be seen inside Unicron during the [[Universe war]], Unicron is likely that enemy. {{storylink|Escape (issue)|Escape}} This raises the question of how Primus fit into their cosmology, and in fact whether ''he'' was what they meant by the creator-One. The One existed before time itself, witness to the birth of the universe. The One was curious about this new realm and created a new being, Unicron, to explore it. For some reason, The One then split its creation in two, one half still being Unicron while the other became Primus. In search of other life forms, it sent explorers out to the furthest reaches of the galaxy. These digital, mechanical beings became known as Transformers." This was expanded upon in [[The Battle Begins|the novelization]], which said that the Transformers' pre-war goal was to explore the universe, downloading their discoveries into [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] so the planet could grow in knowledge. Assuming the "digital entity" was Primus, he seems to be imitating his creator's own method of vicarious exploration.
