==Synopsis==
[[File:BW_II_ep35_Galvatron_Apparition.jpg|thumb|left]][[Nemesis (BWII)|Nemesis]] has finally reached the [[Mars (planet)|fourth planet]] and has [[Gaia]] in its sights. On the planet, [[Galvatron (BWII)|Galvatron]] observes [[Lio Junior]] attacking an [[Angolmois Energy]] fortress defended by [[Dirge (BWII)|Dirgegun]] and [[Thrust (BWII)|Thrustor]]. While [[Megastorm|Gigastorm]] makes boneheaded commentary on the battle, Galvatron muses that perhaps Lio Junior would make a better successor...

Another facility, overseen by [[Starscream (BWII)|Hellscream]] and [[BB|Max-B]], comes under attack by Lio Junior, [[Santon]], and [[Skywarp (BWII)|Skywarp]]. The battle is cut short when Galvatron's visage appears in the sky and asks Lio Junior to not fight, calling out their shared affinity for Angolmois Energy. To "demonstrate", Galvatron has the energy underneath Lio Junior emerge to envelop the [[Maximal]]. At the ''[[Yukikaze (BWII)|Yukikaze]]'', [[Lio Convoy]] senses his protege's predicament and sets out to investigate. Lio Junior falls into the Angolmois Energy, to his teammates' shock, and Hellscream and Max-B leave the scene.

[[File:BW_II_ep35_Evil_Lio_Junior.jpg|thumb]]Within the energy, Lio Junior sees an image of Galvatron, who explains that the Angolmois Energy that flows within the [[Predacon (BW)|Predacons]] also flows in Lio Junior, a claim that the Maximal rebukes with his own claim that he was born from "good" Angolmois Energy. Galvatron isn't particularly concerned with this fact and notes that, sooner or later, Lio Junior will be bent to his goal of attaining universal peace through fighting and using overwhelming power to preserve it. Galvatron disappears to give Lio Junior time to come around to his view.

Lio Junior crawls out of the Angolmois Energy to rejoin his comrades and they run into [[Bighorn]] and [[Tasmania Kid]]. The five soon meet up with Lio Convoy, and Lio Junior's corruption reaches an apex and he attacks the other Maximals. Lio Junior begins spouting Galvatron's philosophy, which Lio Convoy rebuts with his view that violence only begets more violence. In an attempt to get Lio Junior under control, Santon and Skywarp combine with him into [[Magnaboss (BWII)|Magnaboss]], but this turns out to be a bad idea, as Lio Junior takes control of the combination and attacks Lio Convoy with all the might of Magnaboss's Angolmois Ball.

[[File:BW_II_ep35_Smoking_Lio.jpg|thumb|left]][[Scuba]] and [[Diver (BWII)|Diver]] rush to the rescue with the [[Tako Tank]] and stop Magnaboss from cutting down Lio Convoy with the [[Magna Blade]]. But the powerful combiner makes short work of the Tako Tank and Lio Convoy tells his subordinates to stand aside, as he is the focus of Magnaboss aggression. Just as Magnaboss is about to swing down his sword on the Maximal commander, the last bits of Lio Junior's conscience contact Lio Convoy's spirit, explains what became of him, and asks his superior to destroy him before he's forced to do the unthinkable. Lio Convoy refuses to give up on his successor and attempts to draw the evil Angolmois Energy plaguing Lio Junior into his [[Energon Matrix]]. This gambit succeeds, and Lio Junior is cured of his corruption. An image of Galvatron appears in the sky and commends Lio Convoy's actions before absorbing the evil energies into himself. Pleased that Lio Junior saw his "side" even if just for a moment, Galvatron disappears after hoping he won't regret not becoming his successor.

The recovered Lio Junior begs for forgiveness and berates himself for falling into evil, but Lio Convoy reassures his successor that it was the strength inside him that saved the day. Their celebration is cut short by a rumbling brought on by Nemesis...

===Artemis & Moon II Report===
Artemis mentions how strong Magnaboss was and asks what's up with Angolmois Energy. Moon states it can be used for good or evil, depending on the user's intentions. Currently the planet's Angolmois Energy is bad thanks to the influence of Nemesis. Galvatron tried to corrupt Lio Junior with this evil Angolmois Energy, but he failed due to Lio Junior's love for his comrades. Moon says Artemis should learn to do the same by doing favors for him, but the gynoid professes that her love belongs to Scuba.

After the others physically comfort him, the captain swears to defeat the Maximals to impress Galvatron, and [[Scylla]] suggests using [[Bighorn]] as the weak link. With her charms, she can lure in the bison and, soon after, his teammates. The Seacons agree with the plan and Halfshell cries again about his crew's loyalty to him, resulting in mass crying among the pirates that comically sinks the ship.

At the beach, a relaxing [[Tasmania Kid]] spies Bighorn running off somewhere. After contacting [[Lio Convoy]], Kid follows. It turns out that Bighorn has received a "love letter" from Scylla beckoning him to meet her at a cape shaped like a dragon's head. As expected, the infatuated Bighorn rushes to the cape, finding what he thinks is his "Squid Lady"... till he tries to hug her and she crumbles to pieces. He tears up about her apparent murder of Scylla till Tasmania Kid points out that it's just an imitation. Kid realizes the entire scenario is a trap, but the delusional Bighorn insists that he and Squid Lady are deep in love, even when Lio Convoy and [[Apache]] arrive and tell the two to get off the cape. They don't have time to get off when [[Sea Phantom]] shows up and slices the "head" off, sending it floating off to sea, and Kid is stuck still listening to Bighorn's delusions that Scylla wants to meet up with him.

[[Scuba]] shows up in time to save Bighorn from tripping into the ocean and [[Diver (BWII)|Diver]] shows up as Tasmania Kid's transport. Mocking the inability of the "king of beasts" to do much in a turtle's domain, the Seacon captain beats up Lio Convoy. Apache dives to rescue his commander and inadvertently activates his third mode. Promising to follow Lio Convoy anywhere, he blasts Halfshell away and swims over to see to Lio Convoy. They're then attacked, though, by [[Coelagon]].

Above water, Moon lands on the photon sailer's mast and wonders what he ''can'' do, with his restrictions on interacting with others. When the ship's Jolly Roger wraps around his face, he gets a "great idea". Scylla still has Scuba in her grasp, promising her crush that he'll be safe with her from the other Seacons. The Maximal is angry at the very idea of just floating by while his friends are in danger and soon barfs oil. Under its cover, the squid grabs all of his Maximal comrades and takes them to the floating dragon head for safety. Despite his injury, Bighorn is sore after Scuba and Scylla's apparent dalliance, and the Maximals have to hold the two from coming to blows.

The Maximals are stuck on the rock, unable to transform into robot modes thanks to Gaia's atmosphere and the salt water has eroded their precision mechanisms. The Seacons soon surround the rock, with Scylla saddened that it's too late to defend her love now. Artemis worries about the situation and hopes that Moon can fix it, only to see that he's already back to Moon. Finally getting Galvatron's attention, the Seacons combine into [[God Neptune (BWII)|God Neptune]] and split the rock with his [[Kaijin Ken|sword]] before making a final swing to destroy the Maximals. Before he can do so, [[Bigmos]] and [[Tonbot]] come out of the sky to knock down the giant! After spitting corrosive acid into God Neptune's face, the two [[Insectron]]s pick up Lio Convoy and the Maximal attacks the combiner with Lio Missile barrages and finally with the Lio Typhoon. The resulting cyclone splits God Neptune into his component parts and sends the Seacons flying. At the ''[[Galvaburg II]]'', a frustrated Galvatron once again mocks Halfshell for being a klutz and a slow turtle.

When Tasmania Kid asks how they knew the Maximals needed help, Tonbot reveals that the Seacons' Jolly Roger, with an oil stain shaped like the [[Australia|Sea Continent]], fell onto them. [[Moon (BWII)|Somebody]] was watching out for them...

Moon quickly takes credit for the flag and Artemis lauds whoever it was for the ingenious idea. When Moon again insists that ''he'' did it, Artemis questions how he managed it. Moon reveals that he got the idea from seeing the flapping flag, realizing that the Insectrons would know whose Jolly Roger it was. When Artemis further asks how he made the oil stain, an embarrassed Moon is forced to admit he got inspiration from making a similar stain when sleeping...

Both accuse the other of being a bed-wetter and quickly end the report afterwards.

After the [[Emperor of Destruction]] closes communications, Halfshell bursts in fury... before breaking down and crying that he's brought shame to the Seacon crew. After the others physically comfort him, the captain swears to defeat the Maximals to impress Galvatron, and [[Scylla]] suggests using [[Bighorn]] as the weak link. With her charms, she can lure in the bison and, soon after, his teammates. The Seacons agree with the plan and Halfshell cries again about his crew's loyalty to him, resulting in mass crying among the pirates that comically sinks the ship.

At the beach, a relaxing [[Tasmania Kid]] spies Bighorn running off somewhere. After contacting [[Lio Convoy]], Kid follows. It turns out that Bighorn has received a "love letter" from Scylla beckoning him to meet her at a cape shaped like a dragon's head. As expected, the infatuated Bighorn rushes to the cape, finding what he thinks is his "Squid Lady"... till he tries to hug her and she crumbles to pieces. He tears up about her apparent murder of Scylla till Tasmania Kid points out that it's just an imitation. Kid realizes the entire scenario is a trap, but the delusional Bighorn insists that he and Squid Lady are deep in love, even when Lio Convoy and [[Apache]] arrive and tell the two to get off the cape. They don't have time to get off when [[Sea Phantom]] shows up and slices the "head" off, sending it floating off to sea, and Kid is stuck still listening to Bighorn's delusions that Scylla wants to meet up with him.

[[Scuba]] shows up in time to save Bighorn from tripping into the ocean and [[Diver (BWII)|Diver]] shows up as Tasmania Kid's transport. Scuba tells the lovestruck bull to knock it off, but Scylla quickly wraps her tentacles around the other squid! She again professes her love, to the annoyance of [[Artemis]] on the [[Moon (moon)|Moon]], who also has the hots for Scuba. She angrily orders [[Moon (BWII)|Moon]] to fix the situation, and the bunny takes off for [[Gaia]], not sure what he can do as long he's invisible and unheard by the [[Transformer]]s on Gaia.

Tasmania Kid and Diver realize the home advantage the Seacons have and try to make a run for it, but [[Terrormander]] leaps out of the water and shocks Kid. They try alternating between swimming on the surface or underwater, but Terrormander's arsenal reaches them in both environments. Despite Apache's warnings, Lio Convoy flies off to rescue his subordinate, but is dragged underwater by Halfshell! Mocking the inability of the "king of beasts" to do much in a turtle's domain, the Seacon captain beats up Lio Convoy. Apache dives to rescue his commander and inadvertently activates his third mode. Promising to follow Lio Convoy anywhere, he blasts Halfshell away and swims over to see to Lio Convoy. They're then attacked, though, by [[Coelagon]].

Above water, Moon lands on the photon sailer's mast and wonders what he ''can'' do, with his restrictions on interacting with others. When the ship's Jolly Roger wraps around his face, he gets a "great idea". Scylla still has Scuba in her grasp, promising her crush that he'll be safe with her from the other Seacons. The Maximal is angry at the very idea of just floating by while his friends are in danger and soon barfs oil. Under its cover, the squid grabs all of his Maximal comrades and takes them to the floating dragon head for safety. Despite his injury, Bighorn is sore after Scuba and Scylla's apparent dalliance, and the Maximals have to hold the two from coming to blows.

The Maximals are stuck on the rock, unable to transform into robot modes thanks to Gaia's atmosphere and the salt water has eroded their precision mechanisms. The Seacons soon surround the rock, with Scylla saddened that it's too late to defend her love now. Artemis worries about the situation and hopes that Moon can fix it, only to see that he's already back to Moon. Finally getting Galvatron's attention, the Seacons combine into [[God Neptune (BWII)|God Neptune]] and split the rock with his [[Kaijin Ken|sword]] before making a final swing to destroy the Maximals. Before he can do so, [[Bigmos]] and [[Tonbot]] come out of the sky to knock down the giant! After spitting corrosive acid into God Neptune's face, the two [[Insectron]]s pick up Lio Convoy and the Maximal attacks the combiner with Lio Missile barrages and finally with the Lio Typhoon. The resulting cyclone splits God Neptune into his component parts and sends the Seacons flying. At the ''[[Galvaburg II]]'', a frustrated Galvatron once again mocks Halfshell for being a klutz and a slow turtle.

At the end of the day, Lio Convoy thanks the Insectrons for the rescue, which Tonbot humbly takes. When Tasmania Kid asks how they knew the Maximals needed help, Tonbot reveals that the Seacons' Jolly Roger, with an oil stain shaped like the [[Australia|Sea Continent]], fell onto them. [[Moon (BWII)|Somebody]] was watching out for them...

===Artemis & Moon II Report===
Moon quickly takes credit for the flag and Artemis lauds whoever it was for the ingenious idea. When Moon again insists that ''he'' did it, Artemis questions how he managed it. Moon reveals that he got the idea from seeing the flapping flag, realizing that the Insectrons would know whose Jolly Roger it was. When Artemis further asks how he made the oil stain, an embarrassed Moon is forced to admit he got inspiration from making a similar stain when sleeping...

Both accuse the other of being a bed-wetter and quickly end the report afterwards.

[[Starscream (BWII)|Starscream]] and [[BB]] have flown into [[Insectron]] territory to dump a payload of devices that will "make their relationship with the Insectrons clear". [[Powerhug (BWII)|Powerhug]] stumbles upon one of the devices and [[Scissor Boy]] thinks it may be valuable, while [[Drill Nuts]] frightens them by thinking it may be a bomb. The device activates and projects a hologram of a [[super deformed]] Starscream. Claiming to be the "idol of [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]]", he wants to invite the Insectrons to an "[[oil]] party" at [[Mikazuki Island]] as a token of good esteem.

Over at the ''[[Galvaburg II]]'', [[Galvatron (BWII)|Galvatron]] (still embedded in a block of solidified lava), summons [[Megastorm]]. Megastorm is relieved to discover that Galvatron is only mumbling in his sleep, for if he awoke and discovered Megastorm had not yet built the [[Predacon (BW)|Predacon]] fortress or killed [[Lio Convoy]]...he wouldn't be happy. In a panic, Megastorm critiques Starscream's plan to defeat the Insectrons. Starscream insists that "Operation Danger Ahoy in the Jungle Shade" will be a complete success.

Elsewhere, [[Tasmania Kid]] is searching for the Insectrons, hoping to persuade them into friendship over a few cans of oil. He hears a rumbling in a bush, and hopes with girlish enthusiasm that it might be "little Scissor Boy-chan". Instead, it's [[Mantis]], the blood-thirsty psychopath. Tasmania Kid hopes that his own personal charm will schmooze Mantis into friendship, but Mantis knocks the oil away and attempts to "cut his heart out". Tasmania Kid is saved by Scissor Boy who says that, even though Tasmania Kid is a Predacon, he has a feeling that he isn't evil. Tasmania Kid takes exception to the assertion that he is a Predacon and attempts to convince the pair that he is the coolest and most famous of all the [[Maximal]]s. Scissor Boy pleads with him to stop lying.

They take Tasmania Kid back to their base/hole and show him one of Starscream's holograms. In it, Starscream claims that Lio Convoy and all his teammates are the Predacons, while he and all ''his'' teammates are the Maximals. Tasmania Kid refutes this and, naturally, Scissor Boy is most confused (though Mantis insists on just cutting Tasmania Kid to pieces anyway). When Tasmania Kid finds out about Starscream's oil party, he says it must be a trap. Realizing that all the other Insectrons are at the party, Mantis and Scissor Boy race to their aid. Tasmania Kid attempts to radio for back-up, but something is jamming his transmission.

Up on the [[Moon (moon)|moon]], [[Artemis]] and [[Moon (BWII)|Moon]] are watching the events from their base, as usual. Moon asks why Transformers drink oil (while drinking a carton of [[milk]]). Artemis explains that oil raises their spirits and makes them drunk and cheerful, hence the reason all Transformers love oil. Moon remarks that all Transformers must be greedy if they're willing to run into an obvious trap just for oil. Annoyed, Artemis takes Moon's milk away, causing him to throw a tantrum.

At Mikazuki Island, the Insectrons have just sat down at a fancy table to enjoy their oil. Another hologram left by Starscream asks them to enjoy their beverages now, as he will be joining them shortly. [[Tonbot]] says it's rude to drink before the host arrives, but the oil is of such high grade, none of the Insectrons can resist.

Megastorm, Starscream, BB, [[Dirge (BWII)|Dirge]] and [[Thrust (BWII)|Thrust]] secretly observe as the Insectrons get drunk and rowdy, with Megastorm remarking it's a good time to attack. Starscream says not to bother, as the oil he supplied them with is ''so'' strong that all who drink it will mindlessly begin fighting amongst themselves until they've destroyed one-another.

At Mikazuki Island, Tasmania Kid, Mantis and Scissor Boy have finally arrived. When they get there, however, they find all the Insectrons firing their weapons upon one another.

Back at the ''Galvaburg II'', Megastorm is so busy watching the fight and Starscream is so busy praising his own brilliant plan, that neither notice Galvatron awaken from his nap. Freeing himself from his rocky prison, Galvatron remarks that he's dying of thirst. He finds Starscream's "special" oil and begins chugging can after can. Completely inebriated, he stumbles over to the other Predacons. Megastorm asks his brother if he drank the special oil. Galvatron interprets that as "you have a drinking problem" and goes berserk, chasing all the Predacons out of their base as Megastorm remarks, "He's a ''really'' bad drunk!"

Over at Mikazuki Island, the Insectrons are still going at it. The non-drunk Insectrons attempt to encourage their raging comrades to sober up, only to be attacked in the process. Then Galvatron spots them, hallucinates that everybody is Lio Convoy, and transforms to his dragon mode. Simultaneously, [[Apache]] and [[Bighorn]] arrive to subdue the drunken Insectrons with some butterfly nets (or possibly [[rustbug hoop]]s). Bighorn then says that the best way to deal with drunks is to douse them in cold water. [[Scuba]] obliges, emerging from an underground river and splashing all the Insectrons, who immediately come to their senses, albeit with killer hangovers. Tasmania Kid asks his comrades how they knew about the mess and Lio Convoy says they were alerted by Scuba.

Galvatron then bursts onto the scene in a complete rampage, breathing fire indiscriminately over everything. The Insectrons agree to form a tagteam with the Maximals to stop Galvatron. Transforming to his third mode, [[Bigmos]] snags Galvatron's tail and encourages everyone to help him pull. Lio Convoy then fires a round of missiles into Galvatron's mouth, the explosion causing him to fall into the river and sink to the bottom.

Megastorm is as pleased with Galvatron's apparent demise as the Maximals, but has to mask his joy to the confused Predacons around him, melodramatically screaming for his brother to be okay.

Back at the ''[[Yukikaze (BWII)|Yukikaze]]'', the Insectrons apologize to the Maximals, now realizing that they are not the enemy. They say that although they will not fight in their war (being pacifists and all that), they would like to be friends. Lio Convoy respects their terms and shakes hands with Bigmos.

"[[Artemis & Moon II Report]]" goes over the complexities of DNA and [[alternate mode]] scanning, showing how the Maximals chose animal forms by observing wildlife while the Predacons chose machine forms from an ancient computer. [[Artemis]] asks why Galvatron has a dragon form, then. [[Moon (BWII)|Moon]] explains that it was the most powerful form he observed in the computer. Artemis then regrets having invited Galvatron to their base for refreshments, as his giant dragon foot smashes through their ceiling.

==Synopsis==
Flying through a canyon, [[Starscream (BWII)|Starscream]] and [[BB]] hatch a new plan to make the [[Insectron]]s and [[Maximal]]s fight each other. Elsewhere, [[Tasmania Kid]], [[Bighorn]] and [[Diver (BWII)|Diver]] are fooling around near a river when Bighorn dares Diver to jump across it. The frog refuses, saying it's dangerous and that you should always be under caution. Bighorn calls him a coward, but they're all interrupted when [[Lio Convoy]] calls them back to base. At the ''[[Yukikaze (BWII)|Yukikaze]]'', Lio Convoy brings up their recurring Insectron problem. Bighorn suggests they just beat the insects up, but Convoy disagrees, saying that that's the reasoning of someone who only knows how to fight. He theorizes that the Insectrons probably just attacked the Maximals because they were intruding on their territory, and orders his troops not to attack if they spot any Insectrons. Bighorn doesn't understand why, since the Insectrons attacked them first, and following the meeting he takes his anger out on some rocks.

In the air, Starscream muses how his flight capabilities make finding the Insectrons just that much easier, and he and BB soon discover an Insectron hideout. Meanwhile, Tasmania Kid, Bighorn and Diver wander the jungle, discussing what to do if they ''do'' find an Insectron, but the conversation is interrupted when the group is hit by a missile. As Bighorn rushes in the direction it was fired from, Starscream chuckles from above; BB's missile was just a bait to lure the Maximals towards the Insectron hideout! On the [[Moon (moon)|Moon]], [[Artemis]] is highly impressed by Starscream's plan. She wonders if the Maximals were fooled because of their justice sense, but [[Moon (BWII)|Moon]] figures they're just simple-minded.

Back on [[Gaia]], two Insectrons, [[Drill Nuts]] and [[Scissor Boy]], ascend from their underground hideout with a piece of machinery. Drill Nuts claims his invention can detect whether or not a person is hostile, but Scissor Boy is skeptic since most of Drill Nuts's inventions are just junk. The two are soon joined by [[Powerhug (BWII)|Powerhug]], a pill bug Insectron, when he comes rolling down a hill. Suddenly, Starscream and BB fly past the Insectrons, yelling that they're being chased by bad guys. As Drill Nuts's invention detects no hostility from the two jets, the Insectrons believe them. The three Maximals who arrive shortly afterwards, however, set off the detector like crazy.

As Bighorn spots the Insectrons, he gets ready to fight, only for Diver to stop him and tell him to be cautious. Bighorn quickly loses his temper, calls Diver a coward who doesn't deserve to be a Maximal, and punts Tasmania Kid out of the way when he tries to make peace between them. Diver judges that there's just no arguing with Bighorn, and joins in on attacking the Insectrons. As Drill Nuts's invention detects ''unlimited hostility'' within Bighorn, the three insects transform and fight back. Starscream and BB watch the battle from afar, planning to join up with [[Dirge (BWII)|Dirge]] and [[Thrust (BWII)|Thrust]] to destroy both the Maximals and Insectrons once they've wasted all their energy.

At the ''Yukikaze'', Lio Convoy and [[Apache]] note how Diver's group hasn't reported in during the past hour, and call the patrolling [[Scuba]] to find them before leaving to search themselves. As the battle in the jungle rages on, Bighorn is repeatedly knocked down by Powerhug, and starts questioning why the Insectron never finishes him off. Powerhug explains that he never cheats, and attacking people while they're down is against the rules of martial arts. Drill Nuts fires a few missiles at Diver, but when one of them is a dud, he suddenly stops fighting and sits down to examine the problem, mumbling that he can't believe his personal weaponry would fail lke that. Tasmania Kid throws a rock at Scissor Boy, joking about how "rock beats scissors", but Scissor Boy clearly disagrees, as he crushes the rock with his scissors. Both sides are eventually exhausted from fighting, and transform to their [[Alternate mode|beast modes]] as they agree to take a time-out.

During their break, the Maximals start doubting that the Insectrons are evil, and sit down to talk to them instead. As Starscream wonders why the two groups stopped fighting, Dirge and Thrust arrive, and attack without his orders. With nothing else to do, Starscream and BB join them, and together the [[Combatron (BWII)|Combatrons]] surround their enemies. To avoid getting caught up in a battle between the Maximals and [[Predacon (BW)|Predacons]], the Insectrons quickly flee into their underground tunnels. Tasmania Kid and Diver prepare to fight, but Bighorn has lost too much energy fighting Powerhug. Diver protects him from enemy fire and tells him to retreat, and Bighorn apologizes for calling him a coward. Diver says he doesn't care as long as he runs away, but it's already too late as they're completely surrounded by the Predacons.

Suddenly, Lio Convoy, Apache and Scuba arrive, blasting the Predacons with missiles and blasters. Their enemies fight back, but Lio Convoy scrambles their missiles' flight paths and they're eventually forced to withdraw. Following the battle, Lio Convoy demands to know why Diver's force attacked the Insectrons, but Bighorn defends his friend, explaining how it was all his fault and how Diver is a courageous person. Returning to the ''Yukikaze'', Diver's group tell Lio Convoy about their battle, and how the Insectrons don't feel like bad guys. Meanwhile, Drill Nuts has decided to improve his hostility detector, since it proved useless in the previous battle. Scissor Boy calls him hopeless as Powerhug rolls around the area, unable to stop.

==Synopsis==
Flying through a canyon, [[Starscream (BWII)|Starscream]] and [[BB]] hatch a new plan to make the [[Insectron]]s and [[Maximal]]s fight each other. Elsewhere, [[Tasmania Kid]], [[Bighorn]] and [[Diver (BWII)|Diver]] are fooling around near a river when Bighorn dares Diver to jump across it. The frog refuses, saying it's dangerous and that you should always be under caution. Bighorn calls him a coward, but they're all interrupted when [[Lio Convoy]] calls them back to base. At the ''[[Yukikaze (BWII)|Yukikaze]]'', Lio Convoy brings up their recurring Insectron problem. Bighorn suggests they just beat the insects up, but Convoy disagrees, saying that that's the reasoning of someone who only knows how to fight. He theorizes that the Insectrons probably just attacked the Maximals because they were intruding on their territory, and orders his troops not to attack if they spot any Insectrons. Bighorn doesn't understand why, since the Insectrons attacked them first, and following the meeting he takes his anger out on some rocks.

In the air, Starscream muses how his flight capabilities make finding the Insectrons just that much easier, and he and BB soon discover an Insectron hideout. Meanwhile, Tasmania Kid, Bighorn and Diver wander the jungle, discussing what to do if they ''do'' find an Insectron, but the conversation is interrupted when the group is hit by a missile. As Bighorn rushes in the direction it was fired from, Starscream chuckles from above; BB's missile was just a bait to lure the Maximals towards the Insectron hideout! On the [[Moon (moon)|Moon]], [[Artemis]] is highly impressed by Starscream's plan. She wonders if the Maximals were fooled because of their justice sense, but [[Moon (BWII)|Moon]] figures they're just simple-minded.

Back on [[Gaia]], two Insectrons, [[Drill Nuts]] and [[Scissor Boy]], ascend from their underground hideout with a piece of machinery. Drill Nuts claims his invention can detect whether or not a person is hostile, but Scissor Boy is skeptic since most of Drill Nuts's inventions are just junk. The two are soon joined by [[Powerhug (BWII)|Powerhug]], a pill bug Insectron, when he comes rolling down a hill. Suddenly, Starscream and BB fly past the Insectrons, yelling that they're being chased by bad guys. As Drill Nuts's invention detects no hostility from the two jets, the Insectrons believe them. The three Maximals who arrive shortly afterwards, however, set off the detector like crazy.

As Bighorn spots the Insectrons, he gets ready to fight, only for Diver to stop him and tell him to be cautious. Bighorn quickly loses his temper, calls Diver a coward who doesn't deserve to be a Maximal, and punts Tasmania Kid out of the way when he tries to make peace between them. Diver judges that there's just no arguing with Bighorn, and joins in on attacking the Insectrons. As Drill Nuts's invention detects ''unlimited hostility'' within Bighorn, the three insects transform and fight back. Starscream and BB watch the battle from afar, planning to join up with [[Dirge (BWII)|Dirge]] and [[Thrust (BWII)|Thrust]] to destroy both the Maximals and Insectrons once they've wasted all their energy.

At the ''Yukikaze'', Lio Convoy and [[Apache]] note how Diver's group hasn't reported in during the past hour, and call the patrolling [[Scuba]] to find them before leaving to search themselves. As the battle in the jungle rages on, Bighorn is repeatedly knocked down by Powerhug, and starts questioning why the Insectron never finishes him off. Powerhug explains that he never cheats, and attacking people while they're down is against the rules of martial arts. Drill Nuts fires a few missiles at Diver, but when one of them is a dud, he suddenly stops fighting and sits down to examine the problem, mumbling that he can't believe his personal weaponry would fail lke that. Tasmania Kid throws a rock at Scissor Boy, joking about how "rock beats scissors", but Scissor Boy clearly disagrees, as he crushes the rock with his scissors. Both sides are eventually exhausted from fighting, and transform to their [[Alternate mode|beast modes]] as they agree to take a time-out.

During their break, the Maximals start doubting that the Insectrons are evil, and sit down to talk to them instead. As Starscream wonders why the two groups stopped fighting, Dirge and Thrust arrive, and attack without his orders. With nothing else to do, Starscream and BB join them, and together the [[Combatron (BWII)|Combatrons]] surround their enemies. To avoid getting caught up in a battle between the Maximals and [[Predacon (BW)|Predacons]], the Insectrons quickly flee into their underground tunnels. Tasmania Kid and Diver prepare to fight, but Bighorn has lost too much energy fighting Powerhug. Diver protects him from enemy fire and tells him to retreat, and Bighorn apologizes for calling him a coward. Diver says he doesn't care as long as he runs away, but it's already too late as they're completely surrounded by the Predacons.

Suddenly, Lio Convoy, Apache and Scuba arrive, blasting the Predacons with missiles and blasters. Their enemies fight back, but Lio Convoy scrambles their missiles' flight paths and they're eventually forced to withdraw. Following the battle, Lio Convoy demands to know why Diver's force attacked the Insectrons, but Bighorn defends his friend, explaining how it was all his fault and how Diver is a courageous person. Returning to the ''Yukikaze'', Diver's group tell Lio Convoy about their battle, and how the Insectrons don't feel like bad guys. Meanwhile, Drill Nuts has decided to improve his hostility detector, since it proved useless in the previous battle. Scissor Boy calls him hopeless as Powerhug rolls around the area, unable to stop.
