==Captain Carrot==
I know it's a really small thing but I disagree with the Captain Carrot caption. Captain Carrot is what we THOUGHT Pyro was like from the first issue of Wreckers, a young eager wide-eyed innocent Prime-ish good guy... but subsiquent issues have shown us that he's very much NOT that robot. He's actually a selfish immature poser who wants to be a Carrot/Prime type but doesn't have the heroic nature, moral strength, or selflessness to pull it off. == Spark vs Pyro ==
Just a random weird thought. If Botcon gives Spark an entirely different personality than Wreckers Pyro (and they probably will) then it raises the question for me whether they should be split into seperate pages. Yes they still share the same toy, but so do LOTS of characters that have the same toy and even the same deco of that toy. The fact is they will have been released with entirely different names and each have entirely different personas. :::There is Skyfire/Jetfire. Masterforce was different in pretty much everything. Completely different gimmick mechanics being a major one. I don't think there is much of anything to tie the characters together. East and West did their own thing. But one character named Pyro who gets one portrayle in Wreckers, and another named Spark who gets a totally different personality/bio in Fun Pub and they mearly happen to share a toy... I can see the argument. Yes, it's a bit obtuse in logic, but it does make a certain sense. The different names and different fictional portrails put it just to the line of "different enough for a new page" for me. Two seperate characters sharing the exact same toy get different profiles because they're different people with different names and personalities. The only difference in this case was that the always differently named versions were only established as different personalities/bios after many years. When the character was being created, he was intended to be a different character from the toy, but just borrowing his likeness. I don't think that when the different versions of Pyro/Spark were being created they were intending to make a different character from the toy. Consider the ''Universe''/ROTF Aerialbots and Combaticons: same toys, same decos, same names, same "bios"... but put 'em in packaging from another franchise, and BOOM new characters. Different reasoning, yes, but still a fine line we've drawn.
:In this case, I do agree with your conclusion, but I think the question isn't unreasonable. I see Walky's point as the key to the answer: It's not just that Pyro and Spark have the same toy; they also have the same ''bio.'' It's hard for me to imagine a new portrayal so vastly different that it would override that connection. I guess if they were written as two ''coexisting'' characters, that would count, but otherwise...
:Ultimately the distinction is, I think, a matter of degrees. For instance, Slag and [[Charger]] have virtually identical bios, but nothing ELSE is the same, so we separate them. That's why I say the question is reasonable to ask.

:The Club waiting period mandate only covers fiction that's exclusive to TCC subscriptions and not available outside that, whereas the BotCon toys and comic are technically available to the public now for anyone who wants to shell out the dough.
