It doesn't explain all the changes, such as his beast head; but with the rest of his body it seems like his VTOL thrusters became his wings, he still got wheels in his legs from his skates, his tail has a grabber claw like he had before. While Tarantulus pulls himself free, we also have skorponok and Terrorsuar dying from a lava bath.
